tbh ive been meaning to do this on my main blog bc I take these wayyy too seriously lol but ANYWAY heres my top 10 faves (in no particular order) that I can think of (tbh theres prob more i forgot about, or i wanted to keep only 1 per fandom... except tgcf)

1. Feng Xin (tgcf)

do i even need to explain this one? loyal to a fault, just a cute lil puppy, one hell of a sculpted archers back, and he's head over heels in love with Xie Lian (but tbh same) i have a lot of thoughts about him on a daily basis on this blog (and also theres the #fx backstory au tag)

2. Noé Archiviste (the Case Study of Vanitas)

look... theres *gojo girlies* uwu and then theres GOJO GIRLIES... i couldn't give 2 shits about how he's fan-serviced (tho im not complaining) but have you SEEN the amount of grief pumped into that man? he could explode in a fit of fucking insanity at literally any moment and take the whole goddamn world down with him bc what happened with suguru WASNT FAIR to him and satoru has more than enough power to go apeshit... but he DOESN'T... even after losing so many of his co-sorcerers... he still puts on a brave face to the end in order to protect the childhood of his students even tho his own youth was stolen from him during hidden inventory...

10. Levi Ackerman (Attack on Titan)

i read the manga during my last year of uni and when i tell you i SOBBED at the end... yes ofc for obvious reasons, but mostly bc my little Levi loses EVERYTHING. He is the SOLE survivor of the veteran scouts. He's missing multiple fingers, an eye, and the ability to walk. He was the strongest (yowaimo) but wasn't even granted the mercy to die at the end of his narrative! Broke my fucking heart.

Anyway, I went all out with giving Scoot a swimming-themed school that still has homework, heh! As always, the rest of the build is below~

Scoot shouted. pic 7: I had one idea for this theme and I used it twice. pic 8: This looked pretty cool in Summer Mode! I had a thought to use all the grid spaces, so here's another new one! pic 9: ...So apparently this wasn't in my catalog either and I hadn't noticed!? Ugh... pic 10: Well I can't place him in the pool by those papers, so I showed up the pool ladder as a way to show both parts of that theme are here! (...Wish I could rotate outside.)

I went with apple trees because teachers, obv.

The Ring toss is for the secretary’s baby to play with bc she couldn’t get a babysitter :( ...Maybe I should’ve put some fencing there if I was imagining a baby playing next to the water.

Anyway, she’s collecting money for some sort of school trip. I couldn’t think of an item that looked like an empty box, so I just used the cardboard box, even if it can’t be opened...

Though since I put the donation box in here, I could’ve just used it out there... But asking for donations and collecting fees for the school seem like different enough things that they should be collected differently...

I could just imagine the math teacher posing this bird a yes or no question and then making it move to say yes, lol. “What do you think, Mr. Birdie? Is x equal to y? *touches it* ...Yes? Very good!”

Also, yes, the math teacher is very energized. (I chose a polo shirt because I thought of a math teacher I had in high school. The polo shirts always made his nipples hard, lol)

I was imagining it was for instruments.

I liked this cool pattern I came up with, but the top and bottom lights would probably be too uncomfortably close irl...

I moved the board one tile away for this image. I imagined the brainstorming was about getting fundraising ideas from the kids for the music class. (It’s a very small ‘summer school’, clearly.)

And after going through his furniture list more, I decided to add more blue/beige things around! (I think it needed some more swimming activity items~)

He played with the T-Rex toy! A kid had to leave it at the lockers because they were being naughty.

All right. Here's another one for you: Top Ten Tomberly Comic Book Covers. Annndddd GO!

alright this is my reason for existing let’s DO THIS (under the cut bc covers are Too Big for tumblr text posts to handle)

#10: MMPR #26 - kinda like tommy’s death scene in the comic itself this cover causes me copious amounts of pain so I have to put it last on the list but it needed to be on the list just from the amounts of Iconic it is in fandom now. also of all the Artistic Renderings of Tommy’s Death (of which there are many now, for some reason) this one tears me asunder the most (KIM’S FAAAAAAAAACE)

#9: Shattered Grid Finale - this one deserves mention just bc it’s probably the biggest image of kim with the dragon shield WHICH IS WHAT SHE DESERVED BUT SHE ALSO DESERVED MORE. anyway this cover proves MMPR pink looks best with the dragon shield thank you good night.

#8: Pink #6 - i gotta admit i’m slightly bitter towards this cover because it’s adorable and precious and it didn’t prep me for the soul-crushing heartbreak that was Pink #6. WHO’S IDEA WAS IT TO USE THIS COVER FOR PINK #6. YOU SHOULD HAVE PUT A DISCLAIMER. but i can’t hate it because look at them…..holding hands…..drinking from each others’ colored straws……the stupidly large amounts of hearts………they’re at peak babey on this cover

#7: 2016 Annual - it’s about the SYNCHRONIZATION of all the characters to pair together for a Fight Scene they chose tommy and kim and singlehandedly saved 2016

#6: i’m dumb and forget which variant this is I THINK IT’S MMPR #40 - the original pic was one of my favorites in the artist tribute and i was SO surprised to see it again as an official cover! and now it’s even better bc it made it canon that kim and tommy to go comic-con together. they won all the cosplay contests

#5: MMPR #41 - okay can you imagine anything funnier than tommy printing out poster-sized prints of his girlfriend (INCLUDING one of her morphed) JUST to hang up in his robot tiger. and then drawing a giant heart on one in sharpee. you can’t. and that’s why this cover is fantastic

#4: GGPR #12 - on record as the hottest tomberly cover STEP ON ME MISS SLAYERRRRR oh and drakkon looks pretty cool too i guess. anyway this is the only legit slayer/drakkon cover in the series and that’s a bit of a crime against me so i gotta hype this one up as much as possible

#3: GGPR #22 - i absolutely ADORE the amount of story and personality this cover packs into just a single image. tommy not knowing social media. kim taking a surprise picture of him just to mess with him, which he still chose to make as his first post despite looking completely stupid in it. kim having to declare herself as first comment WITH HEARTS. it just says so much about their dynamic in a small package and i could analyze it all day. bonus jason being a stupid gay

#2: GGPR #21 reprint - trivia: the first time i saw this cover i literally went SERIOUSLY?????????? out loud. boom went straight for my jugular by taking the kiss page, which was already great, and then slapping it on a cover with full-on angelic lighting. god herself approves of tomberly and it’s the only thing keeping me strong throughout this current matt nonsense

#1: MMPR #1 - where were you when you first saw this cover. i was in my dorm room and saw this in a post, and assumed this was fan art until i found out it was an OFFICIAL APPROVED BY SABAN CANON COVER and my soul was officially sold to the comics forever. cut ahead three years later to me vibrating with joy when i realized the same guy who did this cover was now writing for GGPR!!!!!!! so in short this cover is just very special to me and it was a dream to talk about it personally with sina grace himself. to this day i’m amazed at the amount of soap opera romance and peak tomberly chaotic energy that is stuffed into this single image

Island Tracking Spreadsheet 1.0

Hey so I just put together this (still pretty rough tbh) Island Tracking Spreadsheet because I wanna play new horizons now and I needed to do something about it, and also I like making spreadsheets to keep track of things, but I figured some other people may be interested in using this. But also it could very easily be adjusted to be used for New Leaf or honestly any AC game I think? Right now it has sections for:

General Island Info

Islander (player) Info

Current Villagers

Past Villagers

Fish, Bug, Deepsea Creature, Fossil Collections

This part is blank except for a few examples bc those lists most likely won’t be available until the game has been out for a lil while

Tbh there’s a good amount of this that is just based on assumptions (dream address, fish sizes/bell worths being static, etc.), but that’s why this is version 1.0 lol

If you wanna use this, just save a copy of it to your drive! Also under the cut I’m gonna put some previews of each page and explanations on how they work bc it’s gonna be long

Ok so first up we have the Island Info Page:

This one’s pretty straight forward with a spot for a screenshot of your town, some self-explanatory stuff, columns for the things in your town, and a spot for your map.

Next is the Islander Info:

Since we don’t really know how the tools are gonna work I just kinda left a pretty big space for you to keep track of which ones you have (the stuff written in is just examples, idk what the actual options will be).

For the house expansion section, each room has 3 squares under it where the first square is the base room (first build the house/first add that room), the second is the first expansion of the room, and the third is the second expansion. To check these off, just type a “/” into the little box and it’ll automatically change color. Alternatively, to clear it out, just delete the contents.

Next is Villagers!

I have Sterling as my example because he’s my favorite. Again, pretty self-explanatory here; right now it’s set up so that there’s 10 slots for villagers, but to add more spaces, just select the whole section (you can shift-click the image and the notes to get it all at once) and copy and paste it further down.

And now Past Villagers:

I chose Klaus because he moved into my New Leaf town about two inches from my house and destroyed my paths, flowers, perfect peach trees, and future flower arch locations in like 2014 :–| but anyways, this is essentially exactly the same thing as the current villager section, except it now has a “move-out date” slot.

Next is Fish:

Okay so this is kinda set up for you to fill it out as you go, but I think once the game is released and I can get my hands on all this info, I’ll post an updated version with all the concrete dates/times/sizes?

The boxes in this one work the same way as the house expansion boxes, to fill them in, just type a “/”. There’s 7 boxes; one for each shadow size, and an additional one for a fin for the sharks. It’s also set up for you to type a “-” (or anything. you could type a bunch of “~” to show it wiggling if u want) in each box to show eel shadows.

Boxes for the months are exactly the same as all the others.

The columns for if the fish has been donated/caught automatically change color if you type “yes” or “no” in them, otherwise they’ll just stay blank.

Ok moving onto bugs:

Same exact thing as fish, except there’s a column for if you need to do something/use another tool first (like how in NL to get a centipede, you have to strike a rock with the shovel to get it to pop out).

Deepsea creatures:

Again, exactly the same, but no special columns this time.

And finally, fossils:

idk why I took such a big screenshot for this one lmao, but it’s exactly the same as before but a lot fewer columns bc you just dig em up (unless they expand upon it??).
