I watched the final Netflix adaptation of FMAB. Here’s some of my notes

Conclusion: yep. This got me in the heart, even if it isn’t the show itself. Still stuff that bothered me. But overall, this series of movies is not so bad. Not so great, at times, but not so bad. Honestly, I think they did the best they could and that’s really all I could ask for. And it was nice seeing them all in live action. For this movie, an 8/10. For the series of movies? 6.5/10. Not remotely comparable to the original series, but still a worthwhile watch and something I’d recommend if you want a recap of the series but don’t have time to watch it all again.

Being funny in a foreign language - i take 0 slander for this album because its just as brilliant as the others. so first all of part of the band is fucking art and so im excluding it because it should be all of our favs.

Moon Knight (9,5/10)

2022 started off with a bang for the mcu. After the three months break, this was a delight in every way possible. This show was so much fun, both because of Moon Knight’s character in general and because of Oscar Isaac. The Egyptian mythology was so much fun and an amazing addition to the mcu. I CANT WAIT TO SEE MORE OF LAYLA. Girlie needs to drop her curly hair routine, thanks 🫶🏻

Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness (6/10)

I’ve already given a lengthy review of this movie when it came out, but I’ll say it again in short here: this movie was disappointing at best. With all the hype that came with this movie, we weren’t given what we came for. Powerful female character sacrificing herself at the end for the ‘greater good’? I’ll pass. All of Wanda’s character development in WandaVision was for naught. It was all thrown down the drain and what a waste. The first Dr Strange movie isn’t a favorite of mine either, but the concept of the multiverse in this movie gave me hope, but it was misplaced.

Ms. Marvel (8/10)

The visuals in this series, the opening logo alone!!!! Beautiful representation, such a fun character, and relatable. I found myself in Kamala’s character as a child of strict parents. That part of the story was very accurately told and I loved to see it :)

Thor: Love and Thunder (4/10)

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (5/10)

They tried to make a feminist project again, but failed. I HATE it when projects like these focus so damn hard on the female representation and emphasize it to the point where it feels like it’s being forced upon you. You make stories with great representation by treating that represented group like you would privileged communities. Representation does not mean that you have an immediate great story. Far from it. She-Hulk is one of the most fun characters in the comics. They turned her into a sex-deprived, failed lawyer who isn’t even as bulky as she is in the comics (a huge fucking miss). And don’t even get me started on the CGI.

Werewolf by Night (7,5/10)

A quick, fun watch. Elsa Bloodline, I’m waiting for you queen. You can shoot me with that crossbow😍😮‍💨✨ I can’t wait to see how this story will play out in the mcu

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (10/10)

I wasn’t convinced marvel could outdo such an emotional opening scene like the one in Black Widow. But they did with Wakanda Forever. This movie is the most beautiful tribute they could’ve made for Chadwick. He was present in every second of this movie. I genuinely do not understand how people don’t like this movie. Yes, Chadwick was in a way the body and soul of Black Panther, but there is so much more to this character/story. The lore of Wakandan culture… it was so beautifully woven into this new movie. Shuri’s journey of grieving her brother is so powerful and very personal and relatable to me. The story of white colonizers put into perspective for younger generations was dealt with beautifully. The soundtrack (once again), the visuals, everything was stunning about this movie. It brought me to tears multiple tears. Not just because of Chadwick, but also because of the meaning of this story.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday special (6/10)

Meh. I don’t see the need of this special. I genuinely don’t. As far as I can tell, it adds nothing to the mcu. Drax and Mantis bothered me to no extent for some reason. Mantis admitting to Peter that they’re siblings was kinda cute, but I found myself skipping 30% of this lol

Though there were some exceptions, the quality of the mcu has noticeably gone down. I’ve noticed my excitement/interest disappear for the mcu this year. And it’s because they’re pushing out these projects like the capitalist that disney is. Disappointing.

1.) Debut: Our Song — It’s really catchy and it was one of the first Taylor songs I learned. I’m very fond of it 🥹

2.) Fearless: Forever & Always — I just remember playing this song a lot as a little girl. It’s a cute little love song!! I’m not really a Fearless girly, but this is an OG fav for me. The Way I Loved You / White Horse are other strong contenders for me!!

3.) Speak Now: This one is really hard to choose because Speak Now was the album that really got me into Taylor. I even went to this tour with my mom 😭 Ours, Back to December, Better than Revenge, and Last Kiss — these were my top songs when I was 9 and they still are!!!

4.) Red: Stay Stay Stay / The Lucky One — I’m not the biggest Red girly either but these are some of my favorites off the original release. BONUS: I absolutely love Nothing New and All Too Well (10 Minute Ver.) from Taylor’s Version. I guess these are my Red favorites actually?

5.) 1989: Clean — hands down, my number #1 fav off 1989!!! The lyrics are just too good. Also, I associate this song with @/forever--darling’s Neteyam fic so I like even more because of that 💀 I’m so sad this wasn’t my surprise song. But 2014 Kendra would have told you Style (a close contender).

6.) Reputation: Dress / So It Goes — These songs are so sensual and a total shift from Taylor’s precious music. They make me feel sexy and they get me hype!!!!

7.) Lover: Cruel Summer / DBATC / The Archer — these are my favorite Lover songs in that exact order!! Cruel Summer means so much to me 😭 It got me through 2022. Also, DBATC and The Archer I came to love because of your Cardigan series 🥹 I’m actually planning on getting an Archer tattoo soon because it’s just so me (I already told you this but I wanted to share it with the class ) 😭🧍‍♀️It’s literally the only song I can actually relate to on Lover!!!

8.) Folklore: The 1 and August — Tbh, my favorite Folklore songs change frequently. I’ve really been in a Seven mood recently, but a few weeks ago I was in a The Lakes/Peace mood. This is the one album that has absolutely no skips for me! And, it’s the first album I listened to when I first started listening to Taylor again (I stopped following her music after 1989). But, August and The 1 are the songs I first listened to off Folklore so they automatically are my favorite. I am grateful for these songs because they literally changed my life!! Taylor has gotten me through so much in the past two years so idk where I would be without these two songs.

9.) Evermore: Coney Island / Champagne Problems — for similar reasons above, these are some of the first songs I heard off Evermore and became absolutely obsessed with. My favs on this album are also rotational (I’m currently in my Dorothea era—I can’t even listen to Happiness right now because of you💀)

10.) Midnights: Anti-Hero / Dear Reader — I am enamored by these two. Anti-Hero reminds me a lot of myself (and not in a good way LMFAO) and then Dear Reader just clicked in my brain. I specifically love the bridge. Midnights released at a very emotional time in my life so I think I just gravitated towards the already depressing songs. BONUS: Would’ve Could’ve Should’ve would be my third favorite, but the other two are more personal so more special to me.

Jay: His parents encouraged his self expression from a very young age so he dresses very unconventionally (it often looks like an absolute mess but he somehow makes it work), lots of inspo from the 80s esp the colors (think of his show master outfit) and the whole arcade game aesthetic, but also some gender nonconforming stuff like tennis skirts and colorful eyeliner and nails

Cole: Doesnt really care about fashion or his appearance in general (let's Jay style his hair from time to time tho), sticks to t-shirts (mostly band tees bc you cant go wrong with that right), jeans or those pants with a lot of pockets for people who do construction work and also combat boots, the color scheme is mainly blacks and greys, he has his ears pierced tho and occasionally wears those black round earrings

Zane: He doesnt really care about gender roles and the whole men and women fashion thing, he wears whatever he feels like, so it's either very formal with a buttoned up shirt tucked into mid rise pants (50s atomic family dad but also a touch of 70s) or very free spirited, long flowing gowns or skirts (also kinda 70s but less vibrant colors, he mainly dresses in blue tones, whites and greys)

Nya: Used to be a "I'm not like other girls, I dont care about fashion" girl (self insert much) but since she outgrew that phase she puts a little more effort into her outfits, nothing groundbreaking, they're still very simple (high rise pants and a shirt that might have a print on it) but some jewelry here and just and overall more put together look, sticks mostly to blues and blacks but sometimes she'll incorporate some magenta or even pink to show that shes overcome the whole "eww pink sucks its too girly" thing, Jay often gives her styling tips

Lloyd: Doesnt put any effort into his outfits, bc of his sudden age up he skipped the whole "figuring out my style" phase, used to wear either his school uniform or stuff his mom bought him so it's still just jeans and T-Shirt, wears lots of bright colors tho to distance himself from his dark past (tm)

aaa sort of!! but again i havent played his quest yet so some of these may in inaccurate and/or confirmed/unconfirmed!!

- they sparr at least once a week. this was childes proposition, and he looped her into it by promising lots of rewards (which she wasnt sold on at first), with paimon being like “no!! no trust!!” and then he threw in a free dinner afterwards and paimon was like “HHH LUMINE..JUST A FEW TIMES A WEEK...WOULDNT HURT...” so now its a regular thing. think of it like the golden house fight (except he doesnt use the foul legacy), and its somewhere in the mountains where they wont get in trouble with anyone

- and then they go to various restraunts afterwards (he is a man of his word)

- lumine never asks him for mora. even though hes offhandedly said “come to me for mora anytime~” she feels uncomfortable about it and/or thought he was being an ass again. instead she works vigorously on commissions for the guild

- (BASED ON THAT LAST PIECE) sometimes he cant make it to their little sparring “dates,” and she finds him at the northland bank suffering because he has to do paperwork, which he hates. he stares at the wall for 5 hours wishing he could go fight someone instead

- so she helps him with paperwork stuff. once it was after she did like 16 commissions that same day and just passed out.

- childe has a little suite in his office at the northland bank that he stays in. that time she passed out he let her rest in his room because god knows when was the last time she had an actual bed instead of just sleeping in abandoned treasure hoarder camps (you know the ones)

- he spoils her LMFAOOO!!! he always says “gotta make sure my sparring partner is in top shape, otherwise its boring!” which is the same excuse he convinces himself is the reason. deep down he kinda cares about her. 

- i just got the black sword in-game and it looks so much like a fatui weapon, so i like to think its a gift to lumine from childe after she complained once about her sword getting too old and damaged. 

- she looks at the lore, “hmm it says this sword makes the user thirst for violence...” childe just replies “i know right?!?! isnt that badass???” hes so happy. right up his ally

- but she also gave him a bow she pulled from the gacha because she doesnt use bows and his heart skipped like 5 beats its such a nice bow (THAT ONE NICE BLACK AND RED BOW THAT MATCHES HIM SO WELL)

- he gets jealous when she tells him she has OTHER people she sparrs with. he acknowledges its a dumb thing to be jealous about, and its a normal thing but...,..,,. hes lowkey seething in his office, filling out new recruit forms while his girlie sparrs with xiao. he’ll kill that dumb bitch

- i think scaramouche knows him and lumine are “friends.” he tried to hold it against childe once but then childe was like “oh yeah what about you and that water witch from mondstadt?” and now scaramouche shuts his stupid ass up. catch them being emo about their cute not-girlfriends 

- (I KEEP THINKING ABOUT THAT CUTE COMIC OF CHILDE WEARING LUMINES FLOWER AND SCARAMOUCHE IS LIKE “lmfaoo bro whats that on your head???!!!” and childe goes “...whats that on your head?” and its MONAS HAT)

- everytime lumine kicks someones ass and/or does/says something violent, childes reaction is either “thats hot” OR “when are you joining the fatui?”

- childe told the northland receptionist to give her vip access to the bank and if she ever asks for him let him know IMMEDIATELY. he also gave her full access to withdraw from his account whenever she wants (she found out via the receptionist. lumine dare not touch his savings)

- people at the northland bank who know are like “has....has he lost his mind?” and someone else goes “what, are YOU gonna confront childe, the 11th harbinger, about his mental health?” and the answer is no.

- hes very attracted to her. and she is to him too. lumine hides it better/doesnt act on it but catch her checking him out lowkey when hes not looking

- theres a 100% chance they made out at some point but im not sure what point or how it happened

(A/N: Hi guys this is my very first fanfic of Childe and Lumine from Genshin Impact! Hope you enjoy!)

“Wait, what did you just say?” Lumine asked to Childe, standing in front of them grinning like a child.

“I said, come with me to Snezhnaya.“ He said. “You have a commission there right? So let’s go together. “

“Hey! Paimon and Lumine planned that we go there next week!“ Paimon shouted at Childe. “We need to buy our necessities first!” 

“Oh, Don’t worry about that! I’ve got you covered.” Childe said. “So lets go now!“ He takes Lumine’s hands and dragged her to the port because the ship is already sailing. 

“Wait a minute! We need to pack our stuff first!” Lumine said as she try to pull away Childe’s hand onto hers. 

“I ordered my subordinates about that already.“ Childe said and the three of them already boarded the ship.

Lumine sighed in defeat and thinking that there’s nothing she can do about it.

“*sigh* Your making my head ache.” Lumine said and sat at corner and Childe sat beside her. “You’re ruining my schedule you know that?“ She said and smacks Childe’s shoulder playfully.

“That hurts princess!” Childe overreact. Lumine scoffs.

“Don’t be such a drama queen, that’s annoying.“ She said and just looked at the sky. Calming herself down so that she couldn’t kill him. “And I told you to stop calling me that!“

“If that makes you annoyed I will do my best!“ Childe said, and Lumine just stares at him just like a piece of sh*t. “Don’t look at me like that!“

“Why are you such in a hurry anyway?“ Paimon asked Childe. 

“Well, Teucer really wanted to meet you guys again and the other kids too. And the good thing is that you have a commission in Snezhnaya“ Childe said and smile at the two.

They looked at him like some piece of garbage and some shitty ginger head boy “I told you to stop looking at me like that!”

“You really should stop spoiling your siblings like that. It’s not healthy.“ Lumine said and the corner of her eye she saw something.

“Well, you can’t blame me. I love my de-“ Childe was cut off by Lumine placing her hand onto his mouth. And his heart thump a bit and blush was shown in his face.

“Can’t you be more quiet?“ She said and stand up to her chair and go to the elderly man who seems troubled. “Wait just a moment.“

She approach the elderly man with a lot of baskets beside him, seems there’s 10 baskets filled with chicken and Childe was behind her, following. 

“Hello, what’s the matter?” Lumine asked the elderly and the man looked at the three and grumpily sigh.

“You don’t have to worry yourselves with me, go away now! shoo!“ The elderly man said. Paimon’s shown a tick mark in her forehead.

“Hey you! Don’t be like that with us! We are willingly helping you here! and your just going to push away the Archon’s blessing like that?!! You wanna fight you fu-?!“ Childe smack Paimon’s head and lost consciousness and landed on the wooden floor with loud thud. 

Lumine sigh and shakes her head in annoyance. “I’m so sorry about our emergency food, she’s just speaking nonsense please pay no mind about her saying.” Lumine bows and apologize again, Childe’s do the same and picks up Paimon by her clothes and drag her to their sitting.

“Scram!” The elderly man said and grumpily mumbling by himself.

“Oh my Archons! Why did Paimon blurted just like that?! That is so embarrassing!” Lumine sigh and pouts. She heard a chuckle from Childe and he pats her head, that makes her heart skip a beat and blush terribly. 

“Haha don’t worry about that, Maybe, just maybe, that man don’t like someone meddling his business affairs.” Childe said and put Paimon on her lap. And put his head to Lumine’s shoulders that makes her caught off guard. “Anyway, let me rest here for a moment. I’m sleepy.”

Childe’s expecting a shove or a kick in his face but nothing comes, he looks up to her and saw her sigh and just smiled lovely. That makes his heart beat a little too fast. “Calm down heart of mine, there’s no time for romance” Childe sighs and just sleep peacefully and enjoys this moment.

Lumine wakes up in a small soft bed, beside her is Paimon sleeping soundly, she feels something behind her and turn to the other side and saw Childe laying beside her. 

Her face turns into a tomato and shouts and push Childe hardly out of the bed.

“WAAAAAAAAHHH!! What the hell are you doing?!!” Lumine shouts and she looks to her body, fully clothed. she sighed in relief.

Childe sits up and scratch the back of his head for the pain to go away. “That really hurts princess. Ouch, my poor head..” Childe said.

Lumine bites her lips and some thoughts cross Childe’s mind while she do that and he looked away. Lumine looked at Childe with guilt, and sat in front him. 

“I’m sorry..” Lumine exclaimed and Childe find that cute and chuckles quietly. “So care to explain, why are we in the same bed?” Lumine cross her arms and raised a brow at Childe. Lumine start to think some unholy thoughts and her face flush red just by just thinking of that, and Childe noticed that. 

“No need to be stingy, and first of all to clear the misunderstandings on your head, I did not touch you.” Lumine’s face was like a fresh tomato straight out from the garden. Childe chuckled and continue to explain. 

“Well, when I woke up in the middle of the night, and I just noticed the bothered of your face, must be because were sitting on a chair and me resting into your shoulders. So I booked a room and good thing that there’s a spare room but it’s a little cramp, and a single bed.” He said and start to wash up while Lumine still sitting on the wooden floor. “The thing is there’s no couch, and my ass is hurting just from sitting too long in the chair, and there’s no futon to sleep on the floor, so I slept beside you”

“So in other words, Tartaglia, eleventh of the harbingers, worried about me?” Lumine smirk at him, and Childe just smile at Lumine.

“What if I say yes?” Lumine was shock to hear that, and a blush was shown into her face. “Well, I’m waiting you outside, were almost at Snezhnaya, so make yourself warm because its super cold there, and we don’t want you to freeze to death.” 

Childe go outside and Lumine starts to scream and jump to the bed, crashing Paimon. 

“Hey Lumine! Your making Paimon into a food! You’re too heavy for me!” Paimon shouted at Lumine. 

Lumine sits up and hug Paimon tightly. “Oh my Archons, what should I do?” She squeezed Paimon more. 

“P-paimon, c-ca-cant b-breath...!” Paimon said as she running out of breath.

“I’m sorry Paimon! I didn’t notice!” Lumine said and hold Paimon up.

“You’re making Paimon tired. I’m going back to my world for a moment and rest peacefully.” Paimon said and vanished into thin air. 

Lumine clutched a pillow and bury her face there. “Why my heart is beating so fast?! and what is this feeling? I don’t understand...” 

Lumine got ready, making herself warm because she already feels the wind of the Snezhnaya as she open the door. “Wow! It’s really freezing here!”

Lumine go outside and see Childe over the deck, she supposed to go to him but she notice the elderly man ready to get off the ship, but the elderly was struggling. She sighs and decided to help the elderly man again.

“Hello.” Lumine said and the Elderly man starts to glare at her.

“You again! Just what is your business with me huh?!” The elderly man shouted at her face.

“I just wanted to help you carry those baskets until we reached your destination. Is there a problem why we can’t help you?” Lumine asked. The elderly man sighed and sat on the chair. Lumine sat beside her.

“The thing is, *sigh* how should I explain this.” The elderly man scratch his head and look to the sea. “My son was married to the family of riches and that family is insulting us because we are poor and I don’t want to disgrace our family just because of some insults. So I planned to give all our chickens to them, so they can stop insulting us. And now I’m late for the celebration *sigh*” The elderly man said and Lumine just looked at him with awe. She smiled at him and hold his hand.

“Don’t worry grandpa! We’re gonna help you to deliver this chicken, so that you cant be late to the party.” Lumine said. 

“Hmph! don’t pity yourself with me. Anyway, thanks for the help, I really appreciate it.” The elderly man said. Lumine smiled and look at the sea. “Anytime..”

“Hey girlie! what are you doing there?” Childe said and walk to them. 

“Childe! Grandpa allowed us to help him now!” Lumine said happily.

Childe stopped in his tracks as he observe Lumine carefully, on how beautiful she is. It’s the first time he saw her dress up like that, and it perfectly suits her. Childe looked away and cover his mouth. Lumine looks at him confused.

“R-really? T-then that’s g-good.” Childe said. Lumine scratch her head and approach Childe.

“Why are you stuttering? Is something a matter?” Lumine asked. Childe inhale deeply and look at Lumine with a serious face and smile.

“Well, I just thought that your beautiful.”

Hey guys, this is my first Harry writing, sorry if it is really shit, feel free to send me ideas for more writing, im very excited to get into this.

Harry’s new album was coming out in less than a week and he was going crazy thinking about how his fans were going to react. “But baby what if everyone hates it?” Harry pouts at me from his spot on the bed, his eyes still puffy and his voice groggy from just waking up. “They aren’t gonna hate it H, they will love it because it comes from you and your heart” I give him a big smile through the mirror across the room. “Hmmmmp” He flops back onto our bed with a big grunt. “Maybe I would be more confident if you listened it to first…” Harry quietly says as he pokes one eye over the duvet. I spin around quickly looking at him as if he has two heads. “What?” He’s using those little puppy dog eyes and staring up at me with hope. “You really want me to listen to it?”

I can’t even begin to explain how tense I feel about his question, On one hand of course I want to listen to it, because he’s my loving boyfriend and he had already told me that there were certain songs that I had influenced. But on the other hand he had also stressed to me that certain songs have been influenced by “other people”. The second he said “other people” like that I knew exactly what he meant, and as heart breaking as it is to me that he has obviously had previous partners, I knew this day would be coming and as selfish as I am, I have been trying to put off listening to the album in fear that I would ruin it for him. I know I’m nothing compared to his pervious relationships and that’s something I need to work through and definitely not something he needs to worry about. Another reason for me avoiding the album is well, I just love him so much that even hearing him talk about his previous pains gives me pain, I can’t even begin to explain how sad it makes me to think that someone has broken his heart like that. Before we started dating we were amazingly close friends, and I cant even tell how many times I walked into his place to hear his strangled cries from shower or his angry yelling in the kitchen. I just want to cuddle him in a big blanket and shelter him from the worry and hurt.

“Of course I want you to listen to it, your opinion is one of the only ones I truly care about baby” He slowly rises from the bed and walks his way over to me, wrapping his hands around my waist and staring at me in the mirror. I try my absolute best to seem as excited as I can be, because I am excited, well for most of the songs. “I would be honoured to hear your album H” I wriggle around in his arms and kiss his lips briefly before hiding my face in his neck. I can hear his heart start beating faster as he says “Really? Thank you so much petal, I can go and get my laptop and show you now if you’re free?” With a pleading look on his face how could I possibly say no? “Yeah sounds good bub”. He runs off without another word into his office.

I try to prepare myself by focusing on my breathing and counting to 10 slowly. By the time I’m done Harry is racing back into the room with his laptop secured in his arms. He jumps onto the bed and pats the spot next to him. I carefully walk back over to my side of the bed and hesitantly get back under the covers, if I’m going to do this I’m gonna be as comfy as possible on the outside, because my insides are going to be a wreck. “You ready baby?” H looks over at me with his childlike grin and I shake my head yes “Just don’t interrupt though, I wanna hear it the whole way through”.  As the intro to Golden starts I breathe in quietly and silently pray it’s not about someone else. Harry stares at me intently as I try not to focus on him right now. I close my eyes and lie down to try to distract him from my anxieties. As Golden ends and Watermelon Sugar starts I start to calm down and juts enjoy his heavenly voice as I know the next 3 songs are ones I have already heard and, from what I think I know, they aren’t based on any ex’s of his. But then Cherry starts…

This is what I was worried about. As soon as I hear her voice I know I’m screwed. My heart is going crazy in my chest and I struggle to keep my tears to myself. I slowly look over to Harry and see that he is staring up at the ceiling and I am grateful he’s not looking at me right now, cause I know he would stop the music and ask me what is wrong. So I suck it up and try to listen to the song over my rapid heartbeat. Hearing him say he misses certain things about his ex is never easy and I swallow down my insecurities and try to focus on the guitars or backing vocals, so I don’t have to listen to the words. Just when I think the gut wrenching song is over, I let out a small sigh of relief. But then her voice fills my ears again, her gorgeous accent and girly laugh flow through me like an alarm, only I can’t wake up from this nightmare because it’s happening in real life.

I look to the computer screen as I now see Harry has also closed his eyes next to me, and see the next song if Falling. If the song title is anything to go by, I think I’m in for a sad time. Harry’s phenomenal vocals distract me long enough to not really listen to the words, but I get the gist and it makes me sink further into my miserable state. I can hear Harry slightly sniffling and so I take that as an okay to silently cry myself. I get through the rest of the songs relatively easy, my heart gets a break during Sunflower Vol.6 and Treat People With Kindness, and right when I think it’s over, Fine Line comes on.

As I’m listening I slowly start to piece things together and realise that, hopefully, this one is about us. Our relationship had a rough start with mixed communication and missed opportunities, but I very clearly remember rocking him in my arms as his drunken tears covered my shoulder, and I repeated the words “We’ll be alright” until he fell asleep in my arms on his kitchen floor. I can’t help the tears flowing down my face anymore and Harry finally notices as I feel his arms pull me onto his chest and he kisses my forehead. As the song fades out I sniffle back my tears and turn to shove my arms around him in a giant bear hug. I push all my feelings aside and look him dead in the eyes as I say the one sentence I know he really wants to hear. “I am so proud of you H”

The next week Harry was super busy leading up to the release of Fine Line and, as I promised him, everyone loved it. His fans were going crazy about it and about a certain song as well, clearly I was not the only one shocked to hear her voice on Cherry. The fans quickly figured out what it translated to in English and though it was a pretty meaningless conversation it still kind of hurt that Harry kept it.

Being the loving supportive girlfriend that I was obviously I played the album around the house, mostly when Harry wasn’t around so that I could skip a few songs to save me the heart ache. But a certain night, when Harry wasn’t due home till late, I was washing the dishes whilst singing to Lights Up and I didn’t hear Harry sneak in the front door. He stood by the doorframe behind me so I couldn’t see the smug look on his face as he watches me sing and dance slightly to his song. When I heard that the song was ending I spoke up. “Alexa, skip 2 songs”. I am a little grateful that I didn’t realise Harry was there cause the look on his face would have shattered me. He slowly turns back to the door with a dejected look on his face. He re opens the front door and shuts it louder in hopes that I will hear it. I turn around with a smile on my face and call out to him. “Hey baby, I’m in the kitchen”. He walks into my line of vision and I can see he looks upset. “You okay H? Bad day?” He shrugs slightly at my question and he quietly states, “Yeah it was alright, I’ll just be in the shower”. His usual loving self is nowhere to be seen and I start to worry. He should be happy, his album is amazing and all his fans love it. So I hurried to dry my hands and race up the stairs after him.

I can hear the shower already running so I open the bathroom door quietly and stick my head in. “H baby are you alright?” I can hear him whimper gently and I waste no time in opening the shower curtain and hopping into the shower fully clothed to hold him. When I do I see he didn’t manage to get his clothes off either and it makes me seriously start to panic because Harry was always the stable one holding me usually. He cries are like daggers to my heart as I plead with him to tell me what’s wrong. “H are you alright? Are you hurt? What’s happened?” He just sobs louder and can’t even get his words out. So I just hold him tightly and slowly try to get him out of his clothes while he cries in my arms. Once I finally get both our clothes off I quickly reached down to plug the bathtub so we can have a bath, because all the crying and water is making it hard for H to breathe.

Once the tub is full, I slowly move Harry down into the water, situating him in from of me so I can wrap him in a giant bear hug. After a while his crying subsides and I ask him again quietly “Harry you wanna talk about it now?” My quiet voice startles him and he slowly lets out a big sigh as he whispers, “I knew this would happen” His voice sounds so broken I just want to take all his pain away. “Baby what are you talking about? What happened?” He gently turns around in my arms so he is facing me. “Cherry” he huffs dejectedly, my breath catches in my throat and I look at him confused. “I know I should of warned you about her being on the song and I swear I was going to I just didn’t know what to say and I know how awful it must have been to hear me sing about her and then hear her at the end and I even…” His rambling is making me confused and he’s starting to speak faster and I can barely understand him towards the end. “H” I try to cut in on his outburst but he can’t even focus on me as I see him start to crumble again. “Harry… Harry!!!” I grab ahold of his gesturing hands and get him to look at me. “It’s fine baby, it was a shock but it’s fine I promise you, it’s a great song”. He looks at me like he knows I’m lying and says, “You don’t mean that” I go to open my mouth to rebut him but I can’t get any words out. “I heard you skip my songs when you were in the kitchen before…” The look on his face makes me hate myself; I quickly shake my head as I feel tears start to escape from my eyes.  “Baby I only skip those songs because it makes my heart hurt to feel you sing with such emotion and pain. I physically can’t listen to you sing about your heartbreak because it breaks mine right back. I can’t even explain to you how mad and upset it makes me that she ever made you feel that way and I don’t ever want you, or me for that matter, to ever feel that way again because my heart can’t take it.” He slowly looks up from the bubbles in the bath to meet my tear filled eyes. “I just love you so much H that I don’t want to ever hear or see you in pain, I swear I think it’s a great song, almost too good, because it makes me feel so emotional” Before I can continue Harry cuts me off with a kiss so deep I cant even think straight. He slowly leans back and pulls me on top of him so im straddling his hips. His hands move around my waist as I grab hold of his neck. I can feel all our love in this kiss and even though both of our tears and some snot is mixed in, it’s the best kiss we have ever shared.

As I pull away, I look into Harry’s eyes and I see his smile start to come back as he kisses my forehead before I place my head onto his chest. And for that moment we just sit there in a comfortable silence and bask in out love. After a while I slowly pull myself up out of bath and with my pruned fingers I grab ahold of Harry and help him out of the tub too. We both dry off and get each other into our pyjamas. As we both get in bed we lie facing each other and I give him a small nose kiss as I say “ H, I so sorry I didn’t tell you about your song, I didn’t wanna upset you about it because its only my opinion, not every ones” Harry pulls me into his chest as he rests his head on top of mine. “I know baby it’s okay, I just love you so much that I couldn’t stand you hating my songs, I know it sounds stupid but I just adore you and your opinion is so important to me, and I know I should of told you about her but I knew it would make you upset and I promised myself I would never do that” I can feel his tears falling onto my head and I lift mine up to look at him. “I just can’t live without you petal and I couldn’t stand to see you mad at me, I’m so sorry” I kiss his tears away and then plant one on his lips before I say “I love you too much H, you could never say or do anything that would make me want to leave, and I know how pathetic that sounds but I just think you’re my soul mate and I couldn’t live without you either baby” His eyes spew more tears, this time of happiness and his grin spreads to his cute little dimples. “Just incase you were wondering Adore You and Sunflower are about you, about how happy you make me and how you make me feel.” I smile up at him with a shocked look on my face; a cheeky grin spreads across my face as I giggle to him “What? You mean Watermelon Sugar isn’t about me?” Hearing his infectious laugh warms my heart and he starts tickling my sides. “Of course its about you petal, im addicted to your taste you know that” And with that he starts sucking on my neck making me laugh as his prickly bread tickles me. I wanna talk about play style babes ❤️😭 so I WILL 🤪🤪

Disclaimer! Every character is amazing in their own way! Anyone can be a main dps or any play style is great!! This is just my opinion, which isn’t worth much lmao

Everyone shown will be written about from left to right!!!

Archers:

Fischl: annoying. I can’t stand her voice lines and she’ll stay at level 20 until everyone else is level 90 and I take pity on her and level her up like everyone else. Her charged attack confuses me and she’s just. Annoying. She’s been on my team ONE time! Her first and last time

Venti: This bitch...I’m blessed to have him. His ult attack is epic!! Once I get him artifacts to increase Anemo damage it’s all over for you assholes :) I typically don’t enjoy archers or catalysts because I like being up close and personal with whatever I’m fighting so I can SEE my sword hit it y’know? But Venti makes domains and fighting camps of enemies so easy!! Treasure hoarder camps? Obliterated. Though keep in mind, I really only have him on my team for his ult and charged attacks, everyone else deals the rest of the damage

Amber: She used to have a permanent spot on my team before I found out Venti was actually really good...Didn’t fully understand the game yet :) she’s good! Basic and easy to understand play style! Once I got Bennet though...She is no longer my go-to Pyro :���) sorry girlie...

Diona: I’m sorry but no ❤️ I personally can’t stand playing as the tiny characters. Her voice lines are cute and from what I’ve seen, she’s a great healer!! But I won’t use her, it’s just too much of a hassle since she’s so small. She can’t climb or run as fast as taller characters and it’s just annoying to be so much shorter than whatever I’m fighting :/

Childe: I don’t have him but I got to play as him in his story quest as his play style was??? Confusing??? The whole switching from bow to swords was confusing and hard to keep up with cause I’m just mashing buttons babey!!! If I’m being honest, if I had him I wouldn’t use him much. He’s cool and I love him as a character but he just wouldn’t fit in my team anywhere! That pains me to say...;-;

Ganyu: Regretting skipping her banner :/ I didn’t do her character trial either but I finished her story quest and uh...I missed out! That’s what I get for giving into the ‘cryo Amber’ mindset! Her play style is very fun! I love her ult attack...Damn...I missed out man she would have been awesome on my team for sure.

Claymores:

Beidou: 100/10, she is SO useful!! She’s on my secondary team and even though she’s only a level 40, she’s a C6!! She’s my ONLY C6 character so I’ve been dumping all of my electro materials into her lately, she is SUCH a hard hitter I love her! I love electro and ice or fire reactions!! She’s the queen of them babe. Shes fast and strong...Pirate woman...

Razor: I’m conflicted cause he’s fun to play as but I have a lot of beef with him. The first problem is a problem I cause myself because one hit and he’s dead. If I don’t have a shield up, he’s a goner two seconds into any fight. My other gripe is that his ult doesn’t carry over to other characters. An example of that is Kaeya’s ice ring or Noelle’s shield! Those carry over between character switches but Razor’s does not. Annoyingggggg!!!

Chongyun: Admittedly, I kinda gave up on building him. There’s only room for one cryo character on my team and that’s Kaeya. His fighting style isn’t all that special but I feel like the game is trying to get me to level him up cause the last 4 domains I’ve done, I’ve been paired with level 80 Chongyun players and they were pretty awesome so...When I have the materials to spare, I might have to invest in this guy lmao

Xinyan: I JUST got her like last week or something so she isn’t leveled up a whole lot but oh man...Her ult is sick. I LOVE the rock and roll theme for her, she’s just awesome! I don’t see her becoming part of either of my main teams but I will definitely use her for domains once I can spare materials to level her up ;-;

Noelle: I used her alllllll the time until I got Zhongli. Her shield is fantastic, you really can’t go wrong with a shield! Other than that...I can’t really say anything else about her :’) her play style is similar to the other claymores which doesn’t really allow her to stand out much

Diluc: he’s an honorable mention. I don’t have him...But I want him so bad. My pity is at 50/50 so I’ll either get Hu Tao or him!! (Or Qiqi, Mona, Keqing or Jean but I don’t wanna talk about that). People make him so strong, even when he’s lower leveled he still hits hard! I’d love love love to have him on my team

Catalysts:

Lisa: the og catalyst...I like her as a character but man oh man...She just doesn’t fit on any team! Her play style is fun! Her voice lines are flirty, she’s just a fun character uggghhh I’d love to actually play with her more! Beidou is just the better electro for my team so Lisa will sit on the sidelines for awhile :’)

Ningguang: I poured all of my geo resources I to Zhongli so she literally never got the chance to even be on a team. I leveled her up enough to get that free wish but...Yeah...I have only played as her during a character trial even though I have her! Idk, she just wouldn’t fit on my team. Some people make her super strong which I admire!!

Barbara: fantastic I love everything about her! She and Bennet swap places on my main team every hour or so but when she’s paired with Kaeya, she’s just awesome!! She just works well with others! And she sings :’) other than that her play style isn’t exactly anything special! She’s just a character I can swap out a lot and she just FITS in my main team?? Amazing

Mona: Still in the process of leveling her up, I really enjoy her play style! Not a fan of catalysts but... I did something the other day when I switched artifacts around and now she does pretty good damage?? Idk what I did but she’s more fun to play as now! My only gripe is when she sprints, she turns into a puddle! So when I want to dodge or do short bursts of sprinting she leaps in and out of the floor like STOP IT HAJSLSSK the splashing is SO LOUD for WHAT lmao I love her though! Solid spot on the secondary team

Sucrose: she is so underleveled but I made an all Anemo team just for giggles...And now I want to actually buff her up. It’ll take a lot of time and material farming but she has a lot of potential to work well with Pyro and hydro characters with her swirl effect!! :)

Klee: Again, not a fan of the kiddos. I don’t even remember when I played as her, it might have been her trial or in a story quest somewhere but I just didn’t enjoy her play style. She throws bombs which don’t always go off immediately so I’m sitting there like ???? Blow up??? And then they don’t? Confusing!!!

Swords:

Kaeya: Oh yes my big sexy man hello sir 👀 he is never leaving my team!! Never! I’ve formed an emotional attachment to him and uh well he’s level 74 now and overpowers all of my 5 stars except Zhongli. When he’s paired up with Barbara and they both activate their water/ice swirls?? That’s my favorite thing in the whole world I LOVE freeze reactions! Ugh absolutely flawless! My only gripe about his play style is that sometimes he turns away when firing his ice and I’m like NO THE OTHER WAY it’s called auto aim or something idk, most characters do it at some point...It’s just ten times more annoying when he does it :)

Jean: I got Jean very recently so she isn’t at her best yet but WOW she is an amazing healer!! Like wow, she’s giving Bennet a run for his money. I have no complaints about her! Her play style is kinda basic. I do love how she can just blow enemies away though, that’s fun!! Especially in co op when I can blow my teammates off cliffs :) I don’t really use her though...She isn’t on my main or secondary team...rip

Bennet: Benny’s adventure team!!! He and Barbara swap spots on my main team a lot! He’s a great healer! Not as good as Barb but I’m still working on him!! He’s kinda just there for moral support, he’s too under leveled to really do any damage :’) he’s just...a cute lil guy :’) I like having him on my team :’) his play style is very basic which makes it easy to swap him in and out for other characters

Xingqiu: his ult and charged attacks take FOREVER to load!! I love him as a character but I have no patience for load times. Off to the sidelines he goes! He’s cool and fun but man!!! In the heat of battle I don’t have time to wait!! I need that hydro burst so I can get an elemental reaction!! I don’t have 30 seconds to wait, my liege!!

Aether: there’s a difference between Anemo traveler and Geo traveler!! Geo traveler is better BUT when he produces thise rock balls?? That’s beyond obnoxious especially in domains. STOP MAKING BALLS IN DOMAINS!!! You’re just raising enemies into the air and now your teammates can’t reach!! The geo ult is good though :) Anemo traveler is alright, I cant complain but geo is just superior :)

Albedo: I don’t have him but I tried him out during his character trial...He’s hot but I’m just not a huge fan of his play style. He summons an elevator...Eh. If I had him he would kinda just...sit on the sidelines

Keqing: oh wow she is just SO AWESOME!! If I got her instead of Diluc I honestly wouldn’t be mad. I’d have to frantically rearrange my teams for he to fit somewhere but it would be worth it. Her character trial showed me how fast she is and how fast her ult/charged attacks charge up! Her ult looks AMAZING and if I activated a shield around her and Kaeya’s ice thing I think she’d obliterated domains! I’d love to have her on my team golly jeez

Qiqi: Again, not a fan of the small characters :( people use her in domains all the time and she’s an awesome healer! But if I had her I probably would not use her :/ anti child

Polearms:

Zhongli: I can’t imagine NOT using him on my team. Having a shield is a must because I’m a huge wimp!! And I’ve finally built him enough that he will occasionally do 10k damage...Only when he feels like it I guess. It’s happened like 4 times and I just scream every time it’s awesome!! His burst attack is awesome and I know I’ve said it already but I enjoy being up close when fighting, not standing and shooting from the side. When his shield is up, this man takes zero damage and just deals hits left and right!! He’s a staple for my team for sure

Xiao: I really loved his story quest and his fighting style is fun HOWEVER he is just....Annoying to fight with. He takes damage with his own ult attack???? That’s obnoxious! And then I have to make room on my team for a support when I play with him :/ it isn’t a huge deal, I enjoy playing with Barbara and Bennet but my dream team (Zhongli, Venti, Kaeya and Xiao) just can’t work out cause Xiao’s constantly on life support. Other than that, I like his dash attacks and even though his ult kills him, it deals a lot of damage! Still building him up to add him to the main team :)

Xiangling: I love her, she’s adorable and I love Gouba but I just poured all of my materials into Bennet and everyone else so I never got the chance to properly build her. She’s kinda just stuck at level 31....Waiting for her chance to be on a team. I used to use her often when I was like ar20! I’ve kinda grown away from her, I’m not even sure why I guess :’) her play style is fine! I just like...Other characters more ;-; I feel mean saying that lmao she’s very fun!! Just not what I’m looking for

Honorable polearm mentions:

Hu Tao: She literally comes out tomorrow but I’m not gonna wait to try her out before posting this. Her play style looks very fun! The way she phases through enemies is strange but very cool!!! I’m a bit confused about the way she moves but hey! I’ll get to do her character trial and see for myself! Very excited about her being introduced to the game

Rosaria: we haven’t gotten a preview of her fighting style but I feel bad about leaving her out! She’s close to being released! She deserves recognition!

My thumbs are cramping....remember that every character is awesome and they all have back stories and cool voice lines! This is all my opinion and my team builds! Nothing against these guys and gals! :)

Bon voyage - Malta

There was the tiniest air of sadness when it was revealed that they would be making another series of bon voyage. Don't get me wrong, the boys were all so excited and grateful when they were given the chance to go to malta but once those feelings settled they realised that they would be apart from us for their entire break. All the talks you and V had about how you would go to the beach and teach him how to paddleboard could no longer happen as you’d be in different countries. Mine and Jin's plan of just being in each others company was also out the window. None of us were dating but we were such a huge part of each other lives that it would be hard to say goodbye for even the length of a trip. What the boys didn't know however was that their director had pulled us to one side to have a chat. He was well aware of this issue and wanted this trip to be as memorable for the members as possible since they didn't get breaks often. He offered us an earlier flight into malta as a surprise to the boys on the condition that we weren't filmed. Even though the Army loved us, it was in the best interest of us and the boys to keep hidden, which we totally understood considering some fans were too protective over them. Trying to hide our excitement we said our ‘sad’ goodbyes to everyone two days before they were due to leave. Though V insisted you stay with them until the very last second you remained strong and pretended that you needed to give them time to pack.

 In reality, me and you rushed to our apartment just down the road to pack for our flight in less than 24 hours.  It upset me to see Jin slightly tear up saying goodbye and you couldnt help but get a pang in your chest when V pouted at your goodbyes. Over the months we had spent together it was no secret that we had gotten closest with V and Jin. Everyone around us would mistake us as couples but none of us agreed despite all your and v feelings for each other and jin and mine. We kept our act up even as we boarded the plane, getting the directors to keep the boys busy so that they wouldnt question why we didnt reply straight away due to being on the plane. Though we were best friends we had our separate music and did our own thing to occupied on the journey.  I slept for the most part and you read or binged Netflix. Malta heat hit us straight away and it sunk in where we were. It took everything not to post a pic or Snapchat for fear one of the 7 would see it. They would be joining us in just over 24 hours so we made our way to the hotel to unpack. The flight really took a toll on us and we didn't really want to venture out without the guys so we opted for a girly evening with malta take out, loud music, face masks, the lot! Picking the rooms was a challenge. There were four rooms (one isn't shown in the episode as it would have given away that we were there). 

As we were settled in with a plate of food my phone lights up with a skype call…from Jin. Me and you both panic because there was no way we could let it just ring (they would get suspicious) but we clearly weren't in our house. You quickly run out of the room and come back with a massive duvet. You throw it over our heads and tell me to answer the call. All the boys are huddled around Jin, staring into the screen with our darkened faces visible. When Rm questions our setting you calmly explain that we had made a fort and that we were currently in it. The duvet covered any evidence that we were elsewhere and they seemed to believe us, though at one point a malta ad for skincare blasts loudly from the tv and I had to make a dive for the remote. They just wanted to check on us before they slept ready for their flight and we assured them that we were both perfectly okay. You kept looking at V who had a glum expression on his face. You knew that he had to join later on the trip and you wish you could be there to comfort him as he dealt with family problems. J-hope asked what presents we wanted from malta and we played along, asking for shells and loads of pictures. Jk promised to get us all matching malta tops and Jimin said he would try to smuggle malta food through the borders. Everyone eventually and regretfully said goodbye, leaving suga with Jin's phone as he went to the toilet. He makes sure no one is in the room before bringing the camera closer to him and whispering “I know where you really are”. The look on our faces makes him laugh and he says quickly that since the crew weren't inside the BTS house 24/7, they needed someone on the inside to make sure none of the other members found out. He reassured us that no one else knew and goes back to a normal conversation just as Jin walks in to get his phone back. We’ve had a tad to drink and it's gone straight to our eyes so we leave the call and head off to bed. We put everything in room 4 for the time being and sleep there until the boys arrive. The next morning we are up bright and early to get some food to stock up the fridges. The boys get an allowance for things like food and everything but we don't have a budget, so we decided to help them out on things we were certain they wouldn't consider buying like washing up liquid and shampoo. We also travel to a big outlet for a few more clothes since we don't anticipate the heat of malta and knew that dragging 7 males around a shopping centre would be absolute chaos.  ————TIME SKIP ————

We get the news that the boys have touched down in malta and try to think of a plan to surprise them. Since V isn't with them, you decide to save your ‘surprising’ for when he arrives, meaning that you come up with a simple way to surprise the other lot. You call suga secretly when you know he’s away from the others and tell him to get Jin into room number two where I’ll be hiding and waiting. Rushing around, we clean the house up so that it's not obvious someone is already there and when we hear the sounds of voices outside the hotel we get into position. I hide in room two and you wait on the porch out of sight. In our places, we hear the boys enter and their voices echo around the large living room. We’ve been with them so much that we can tell that its j-hope who leaps up the stairs and jimin that follows with lighter steps. They inspect every single room except from room 4 which they are told is the staff's room and off-limits which they respect. Suga lingers a little longer in each room to see if he can spot either of us but even he can't see any trace of us. After they have excitedly run around the whole house, they gather in the front room to decide on who sleeps where. When you know the coast is clear you sneak into the kitchen and boil the kettle. None of the boys seem to notice the sound from the front room and you get ready for your surprise. You wait a few moments then in your most casual voice ever you call out “who else wants a tea?”. The boys freeze in their places. They were used to you calling that back at home but there was no way that they all imagined it in their heads at the same time. None of them move, they are actually a bit scared that it could be a ghost. When no one replies to you, you smirk knowing how scared they must be. Since no one wants to check the kitchen for ghosts Jk decides to reply as a joke “ Me please?”. When you shout back an “okay!” Everyone in the room loses their shit. J-hope jumps into Jks arms while jimin, who is sat closest to the kitchen stares motionless at the source of the voice. Rm is counting staff and tells everyone that it's not a staff member as they are all present. After a couple more minutes you give in , too excited to keep the secret and walk calmly into the living room. “one or two sugars?” you ask calmly and everyone roars in surprise. J-hope and Rm run up and tackle you into a hug. Jk claps in pure surprise while suga laughs hysterically.

 No one can really formulate a sentence other than “What, how, why?” as they stare at you in disbelief. J-hope clings to his chest and in fake annoyance tells you that he legit thought he was talking to a ghost. You perch a seat next to him and giving a knowing look to suga who explains he was in on it. Among all of this, jin looks around as though searching for something or someone. You put on your acting head again (you’re surprisingly good) and look sadly at him. “Faith really did want to come,” you say comfortingly “But there were too many things going on”. He smiles kinda sadly but insists that he understands, after all you’re there and that's amazing! They try and get you to tell the story of how you got to malta but, knowing that you cant without mentioning me, you suggest they pick rooms now and you can talk over dinner. You also make them swear not to tell V and they all pinky promise. Jin is a bit quiet and you lot all try to get him to perk up. Suga tells him that maybe room number two is the best option for him so that he can stay up later in peace to skype me at night. It seems to have worked since he takes the bait and chooses room number two. I've been hiding in the wardrobe for a little over an hour now and you’ve had to come in with some cut up apple so that I don't die in the heat of the cupboard. As Jin sits on his bed with his back facing me I quietly creep up behind him and put my hands over his eyes. He obviously thinks my hands are jimins and lets down his guard for a brief moment to tell “jimin” that he wished I was there. It's only when i let go of his eyes that he turns around and his jaw hits the floor. He looks at me then to the, now open, wardrobe with bits of apple inside, then back to me before engulfing me in a huge bear hug. He is totally silent and we stay there for a while in a big ole hug. RM comes in to check on Jin and when he sees me he shouts “NO WAY!”. You hear this and gather that I've come out of hiding so a hint that the boys should go to Rm.

 For the second time, the guys are dumbfounded and super excited. Jimin slings an arm around you playfully and ruffles your hair with his hand (He is the ONLY one that can just about get away with this for you). Jk joins in with mine and jins hug and tips the three of us over on the bed which creates a massive bundle with everyone. We all sit up, now all on the double bed overlapping limbs and i notice Jin secretly wipe a few tears from his eye but his smile tells me those are happy tears. We stay on the bed for the whole story of how we ended up in Malta and tell them that room 4 was actually our room. Suga makes a joke about how I may as well move my stuff to room 2 with Jin and you stay in room 4 to share with V which makes the three of us (excluding V obviously) blush slightly. But Jin says its a great idea and I can't help but grin that the male i have feels for actually wants to share a room with me. They are filled in on the rules that we are not to be filmed as best as possible for safety reasons and that the editing team is good enough for us to still join in and be edited out later on. No one has really noticed that time has passed so drastically until Rm, whose shoulder you are leaned on, looks out the window to see the Sun beginning to ever so slightly set. It triggers a wave of hunger in all of us and as we get up and stretch, we divide jobs up in order to make dinner. With it still being light outside you , Jimin , Jk and Suga go and explore a bit and get some fresh air while me , j-hope ,Jin and RM go in another direction to get food for later.

SO I made up a whole Tae story for my best friend and wanted to share it with you so if you want another part feel free to ask! Writing isn't my strong point so its more of a casual story ?

skipping details of all my questioning and life-long suppression due to living in a extremely religious and homophobic household, i’d say i officially “realized” when i got a huge crush on an old bi friend (now ex) and found myself saying yes when she asked me out. this was maybe back in late 2016? idk for sure, timelines are hard for me. and yes it took me getting in a relationship to finally “realize” (or at least start identifying as lgbt)

the only reason i hadnt embraced it / identified as it / etc etc sooner was Only due to the fact i was made to feel ashamed and hide my feelings abt these things. this goes for both my gender and sexuality.

sexuality-wise, ive always loved girls. i never saw anything personally wrong with girls kissing girls / anyone who wasnt a guy even from a very young age which, i didnt understand when my parents would point and say thats bad. but because of their behavior and hatred toward it, and my used-to-be quiet nature, i learned to not voice myself on it around them that eventually led to self-hatred and a tough time accepting myself for a long while. many more signs of my sexuality throughout my life i could list but yknow.

gender-wise, ive always felt a disconnect to gender. as y’all know, im nonbinary - agender if we wanna be specific. i feel no connection to gender whatsoever, but just use the umbrella term of nb more commonly.

anyways, tying up with my butchness as well i suppose, i never liked wearing makeup. my sister is big on makeup and has been ever since she learned how to use it. she used to always wanna put makeup on me and ive only allowed it like 3 times in my life, however every time led to me feeling really bad and i wasnt sure why / couldnt identify it bc i thought for a long time that i was a “girly girl” and even a femme when i first started using the lesbian term. but yeah i just really didnt like it and i wasnt sure why, considering all those things. spoiler alert: it made me dysphoric. as did everything i used to do to attempt to perform femininity because it caused me to be seen as female, tying me to a binary which i later learned was very damaging to me.

i remember the first time she put makeup on me, i was probably 5? 6? and it was only lipstick and some eyeshadow + blush i think. but after 5 minutes of it on, i panicked. i wasnt sure why at the time. i remember vividly, i wiped it off in the middle of the room and said “this isnt me, this isnt me!” and started crying and my sister made fun of me for being over-dramatic and told the whole family about it. at the time i wasnt sure why i had that reaction and didnt know until i embraced the fact i was nonbinary and also butch. so like. double-whammy. (not to say nbs cant wear makeup! we absolutely can. but for me, being afab, makes me uncomfortable and dysphoric.)

i kinda went on a longish one abt my gender didnt i. KDJDDJF i could say MUCH MORE abt it all bc talking abt gender is like. almost a special interest to me?? i love talking abt it all.

gender, i never rly had a … “questioning” moment for? i kinda just always. was. just didnt have the words for it. which ig u can say the same for my sexuality, but this was much easier for me to accept once i found the label for it. however i didnt come out abt it until i met my gf actually, bc i used to think it didnt matter enough to mention since, at the time, she/her pronouns were fine with me and everything like that (which i ofc later found out makes me v uncomfy, alongside other things like that) but im rly glad i did and embraced it more and allowed myself to be my most authentic self💚

Winter Anime 2019 Part 4: That’s all, folks.

Over already? This is a pretty thin season with not a lot of shows, so it’s not that surprising that there’s not many good ones either. Still, a weak showing. Oh well, let’s get it over with. There were a few decent ones in the last batch.

Circlet Princess

What: Dimwitted schoolgirl is good at some vaguely defined virtual fighting sport, changes school based on it, finds out relevant club has been abolished. Forecast says: 5 member plot incoming.

❌ I think it’s already clear this show isn’t very ambitious, and not very well written either. A game adaptation at its laziest.

❌❌ Man, this girl is STUPID. What the hell.

❌ The rest of the cast are less stupid (which isn’t hard), but that just means they’re so forgettable they might as well not exist.

❌❌ It looks cheap, and by that I mean really really cheap. The character design is ISO standard anime and it’s mostly on model, but that’s as good as it gets. The animation just sucks. That’s a death sentence for an action/sports show with terrible characters.

Bermuda Triangle - Colorful Pastrale

What: Japanese Spongebob, as in cute mermaids. Doing things optional.

❌ To make this quick, this is almost exactly Pastel Memories, only every problem is just a little less extreme. It has fewer characters, it’s looking slightly better, there’s a tiny bit more going on, the setting is mildly more interesting. That still means it is:

❌❌ 1. A boring mess in which a handful of samey girls do nothing of much interest in a location that should be unique, but isn’t.

❌❌ 2. Conspicuously cheap. It even has the same sightline problems.

❌❌ Unlike Pastel Memories (which was an ad for a mobile game) this is an anime original, so it really has no excuse being this lame.

♎ I find it amusing that Pastel Palettes are providing the OP for an anime, and it’s not the one currently airing that they’re actually characters in.

What: Kiraralike comedy thing in a generic JRPG setting.

♎ Namori character designs, so it’s like Spyce in that it just seems like the Yuru Yuri cast cosplaying a genre. But hey, Namori character designs do look good.

❌ I’m not as done with generic JRPG settings as with generic isekai settings, but it’s still a real problem since the former is now a subset of the latter. Mildly making fun of it does not improve things much either.

✅ The tone is cutesy and pleasant. I find this much preferable to something like Mahoujin Guru Guru, which is pretty much the same thing but with abrasive, high-intensity slapstick instead.

✅ It’s backing that up with generally high-quality, agreeable pastel looks.

❌ Not being annoying is a start, but beyond that this seems very middle of the road and predictable. I don’t get much out of the genre “parody” and simply being cute is still not an unique selling point in anime.

Grimms Notes The Animation

What: Did someone say JRPG? This is a mobile one, vaguely based on fairy tales as the title implies.

✅ This universe runs on the idea that every NPC’s fate is controlled by a preset story they’re aware of. You could make a good story about that if you took it seriously. It even does that somewhat, but only to the degree that you’d expect from a throwaway sidequest in a moderately well-written JRPG.

❌ And the reason for that is that it has to make room for being a JRPG, of course. Read: It’s irritatingly mechanics- and combat-focused. Stuff like the characters changing form when in fights just seems overly complicated and adds nothing.

❌ Said combat looks competent, but not good enough to make up for detracting from what could have been an interesting setting. Merc Storia did this aspect far better (by usually not doing it at all).

❌ So it ends up being better than expected, but then that only amounts to a disappointment.

Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai / Kaguya-sama: Love Is War

What: Kaguya and Miyuki are in the student council of a prestigious school and HATE HATE HATE each other. Specifically, they hate the part where the other one won’t just finally admit their love.

✅ The joke here is that it’s operating on full intensity at all times, over the most simple matters. It’s pretty much Kaiji, only about dating - complete with hammy narrator. This is another one of those shows where I can’t say with certainty that it’s solid, but I had a blast during the first episode.

✅ Regarding Quintuplets, I made it clear that I love me some sparks in my romantic comedies. It doesn’t get much more explosive than this.

✅ The characters are comparable to Quints too: Smart scheming upstart vs. rich scheming ojou, with a simpleminded girl in the middle that ends up winning more often than not simply by not overdoing it.

✅ The visuals are just as over the top as the proceedings depicted. Occasionally a filter massacre, but mostly cool.

♎ The long-term viability of this show depend entirely on whether they can consistently come up with scenarios that work, which isn’t a given. Also, this is so intense it might become tiresome - I already felt some fatigue towards the end of the first episode. We’ll see, I guess.

Kakegurui ××

What: Some weirdos think they can crash the party at Hyakkaou with an intent to scare the daylights out of Yumeko and Midari, of all people. Let’s just say they were not as prepared as they thought.

✅ As you might have guessed by me watching the sequel, I liked Kakegurui. It has its problems, but if you’re down for some crazypants madness, this show delivers.

✅ This is one of the better episodes of it too, because it gets right into it and the game they play is dead simple. Kakegurui was never about smart moves or strong characters, so not having anything detract from our girls deriving the entirely wrong sort of pleasure from danger is a plus.

♎ Sadly, the OP is a step down (though still great) and the ED is simply an inferior, overcomplicated version of the magnificent original one. They seem to know this too, because they play the OP cut of Deal with the Devil in its entirety for a montage. The rest of the production is on par with the original though, so it’s fiiiine. Oh well.

❌ It got Netflix’d again and the subs situation is dire. Since this is one I actually like, I might have to wait for the official release.

Kouya no Kotobuki Hikoutai / The Magnificent Kotobuki

What: Piston-engined fighter plane pornography.

✅ This delivers where Girly Air Force failed: Close to zero exposition, the majority of the episode is just planes dogfighting with barely any talking either. And that part is executed really well. I think the plane startup sequence alone is as long as the total of Girly’s airtime.

✅ Guess what, it’s Tsutomu Mizushima, previously known for unbridled panzer (und girls) pornography, and boy can you tell. However, this cuts out a lot of GuP’s bullshit: A plane doesn’t have the cast of K-ON in it, it’s not over-the-top zany, and whatever this universe is, it can’t be as insipid as GuP’s. The classy milwank exists you guys, we found it.

✅✅ The music really helps here, sky pirates vs zeppelins just wouldn’t work without some classic swashbuckling orchestra background. Fat sound mixing on the dakka too. It’s great.

♎ Can’t really say much about the narrative because we kinda skipped that in this episode aside from the obvious, but Mizushima’s Shirobako collaborator Michiko Yokote is writing it, and that’s a good sign.

❌ Now we’re getting to the elephant in the room though: There’s no way the planes wouldn’t be CG in 2019, but the characters are CG too, and their animation is mediocre. Also, they did the KADO thing where they 2D-animated the side characters that aren’t important enough to model. This has the funny side effect that you can tell who’s going to die real soon by them looking better. It’s far from great, but probably a worthy tradeoff if the mechanical side is this extensive and also delivers.

✅ This is definitely not for everyone, since you have to have more than a casual appreciation for those magnificent girls in their flying machines. I do, though.

What: A chunk of Shibuya gets teleported to the dystopian future, local doomsday prepper gets handed a large robot because he’s special.

❌ A Goro Taniguchi joint being a poorly conceived scifi mess? Say it ain’t so! I especially dig the tryhard English jargon (mecha: “String Puppet”, monsters faction: “Revisions”, particular monster, I think?: “Civilian”, tacticool operetah: “Balancer”).

❌ Works very hard to characterize the main character, to the detriment of everyone else. A for effort, but you made an unlikeable asshole though.

❌ This is another full CG show, with the quality of the animation being curiously variable. Sometimes it’s well above average and sometimes it’s painful. There doesn’t seem to be much method to it.

✅ Tries to establish stakes by being mondo edgy and graphically murderizing some poor bystanders. It’s adorable.

❌ If you’re really jonesing for some mecha, you can watch all of this on Netflix right now. It’s not like you have any alte- wait, Egao no Daika has mecha too. Well there you go then. That’s a better show.

brOTPhim and his brother Sly of course! i love their interactions in TY 3 so much. i think a couple of my favorite interactions are when they’re sharing a mutual dislike for Cass and TY reassures Sly that he’s more than made up for when he was working with him, as well as the cutscene where they’re just cracking egg jokes.

random headcanonthis one i just came up with ‘cause i can’t think of anything. TY sometimes will bite at the air, as if chomping down on something, or sometimes softly bite on an object. TY would probably tend to gently gnaw on his hand or one of his boomerangs. i guess like, in terms of this HC, i was thinking about the fact that Thylacines are known for their strong jaws, as well as that one idle animation in TY 1 where he’s chomping at the air to try to catch a fly. Sly would probably try to offer him toothpicks but TY would probably break them in half all the time with his fangs.((Edit)) BONUS HC the trilogy didnt happen in the span of a year, TY 1 happened when he was in his mid teens, then 2 and 3 happened somewhat consecutively since the after credits scene from TY 2 immediately transitions into TY 3, which would make TY an adult in those two.

Sweet Pea sitting on his bike, throwing rocks. Opening the window, you leaned out. "What are you doing here"? "I wanted to see you". He stepped forward, coming up the tree next to your room. "Pea, if my mom or step-dad and especially if Reggie sees you here, they will kill you". You helped him in. "They won't, relax". He said as he pecked your lips. "How am I to relax when I have the enemy of my step-brother in my room and he's looking so damn good". You smirked, winking at him. "Come here Princess". His index finger motioned for you to come sit on his lap. Swaying over you took off your shirt, throwing it at him. Quickly covering your breast with your hands. "I should have came sooner, damn Princess". He moved your hands for him to run his hand down your bare chest, sending shivers down your spine You attacked his neck, leaving hickies to be seen tomorrow at school. Feeling him grow under your touch, you circled your hips, making him groan. "Fuck". His mouth sucked on your nipples, swirling his tongue around. Then the cockblock of all cockblocks came a knocking. "Y/N"? Reggies voice made both of you jump. "HOLY SHIT". You quickly put your shirt back on and Pea tried to hide underneath the bed as best as he could. Which was impossible but he managed to hide. Sweet Pea hopped out the window and started to climb down the tree. "I'll see you at school tomorrow". Blowing him a kiss, your heart skipped a beat, Reggie knew your secret and he was going to make your life hell because of it. Morning came and you were scared. You didnt want to come down for breakfast but that would make them come up to your room and ask question which you didnt want to answer. So you pulled yourself up, got dressed and put on a fake happy smile and went down stairs. "Good morning sweet heart". Your mother kissed your cheek, giving you a plate of pancakes. "I'm not hungry, here Reggie you eat it". Reggie and your mother looked at you odd. "You always liked my pancakes". "Yeah, you always fought me for the last one". "I'm just not hungry and if I am, I'll pick up something at school". "Okay then, you better get your things, its time for school". You met Reggie at the door, holding it shut. "Didn't you tell them or are your threats just for shits and giggles"? "I told my dad, your mom will hear about it when he gets home". He had a evil smirk on his face. "What is he doing to Sweet Pea"? "You'll just have to go to school and see". His laugh made you want to slam his head into the door. Thats when you bolted out the door and straight to your car, spinning out of your drive way and heading to school. You ran through the door to your locker, nothing was happening, Sweet Pea was talking to Fangs. "Pea". "Hey, what's wrong"? "Somethings going to happen you need to leave now". "What are you talking about"? "Reggie told his dad, he knows, he's planning something". But as Sweet Pea was going to leave, three cops came busting in with your step-father leading them. "Run Pea"! You pushed him to the other doors, thats when Fangs, Toni and the other Serpents were pushed on the lockers and handcuffed. Your step-father went straight for Pea and Pea didnt resist. "Let him go". "You stay out of this, this is police business". "I'll be fine, call FP". You nodded, wanting so bad to kiss him before he left. As you watched him leave you saw Reggie in the corner at the trophy case laughing with some buddies. Marching over there, you swung your fist, hitting him in the jaw. "Look at what you've done". Tears fell. "You shouldn't have brought scum in my house". He got in your face, his hand holding his jaw. "Your right, well you can explain to my mother why I wont be home". "What are you bitching about"? "If Sweet Pea's scum than so am I, I'm not welcomed either". You turned on your heel, pulling out your cell phone and calling FP.

Waiting at the police sation with FP, your thoughts of Reggie making you angry. "What charges could they have on them"? FP asked running his hand threw his hair. "I don't know but I know it has to do with me". You sadly said. "Hey, Pea would die for you, so dont put all this on you". Looking up you saw your mother coming in. What was she doing here? "Mom"? She came over, looked FP up and down as she clutched her purse. "He's not going to steal it". You rolled your eyes, FP chuckled. "I came here to get you". "I'm staying until Sweet Pea gets released". Crossing your legs and arms. "Your father said......" "He's not my father, Reggie and him have no right to say who I can see". "No but I do". "Now young lady you get your butt in that car or else". "Or else what"? "You're going to kick me out, ban me from seeing Pea, what"? "This is just a faze, you'll get over it". "Wow, I can't believe you Mom". "I'm not going anywhere and I don't care what you do". You huffed and looked away. She stomped her foot and scurried off. "Your Moms....nice". You and FP laughed as the doors swung open, walking out was Sweet Pea with a fresh black eye. You hurried over to him, taking his face in your hands. "I'm sorry". "Lets get out of here". The ride home was quite, you sat in the middle between Pea who was starring out the window and FP who was driving. "Where do you want me to drop you off at Y/N"? FP asked as he turned down your road. "I'm staying with Pea". "No, take her home". Sweet Pea answered rather quickly. "I'm staying with you". You demanded. "You are going home and that is final". Sweet Pea ordered, his voice frightened you. "I'm close to Y/Ns house, is that where I'm stopping"? FP asked again. "Yes, she's going home where she belongs". Feeling yourself start to choke up, you looked at the road, trying not to blink so the tears wouldn't fall, but it didnt work. Slowing down at your drive way, Sweet Pea got out and you scooted out. He didnt make eye contact with you or even acknowledged you as you tried to hug him, your heart broke. What happen? "See you around Y/N". FP waved as he pulled off. Nodding, you looked at your house, you didnt want to go inside. Everything was so messed up now, that all you wanted to do was crawl in a hole and cry but you couldn't do that so you walked. Clearing your head made you feel better, but you were so in your head that you didnt see what part of town you went into. Ghoulie territory. Sweet Pea always told you not to go there without him. He was right but it was to late to turn around as two Ghoulies came up behind you. "Well well, well, what do we have here"? "Are we lost Girly"? One said with a evil laugh. "Sorry, I was just walking, don't mean any harm". You raised up your hands. "Aren't you Reggie Mantle's sister"? The other asked, looking you up and down. "Step-sister". You growled, not wanted to be called his sister, you hated that you were even in the same house as him. "No, I see her with that Serpent Sweet Pea, she cant be his sister". "Again step-sister and you're right I'm with Sweet Pea". "Wow, dating a Serpent and family with a Bull Dog, thats risky right there". "Yeah it is, but it works". "So why are you out so late"?
