Am I the only person that hated s4 of tua?

Look, i am a big fan of the series, and I was so happy when the new season came out.

And s3 was a bit long for me, in the sense that some scenes were boring, so I wasnt too unhappy with a shorter season.

But what was this

Spoilers for The umbrella Academy season 4!

First of all, the whole Five and Lila relationship.

They are platonic friends, like siblings. Who thought it would be a fun idea to make them romantic all of a sudden?

"Oh, but they got stuck in time for 7 years its only natural"

You have to be shitting me.

I've been celibate for over 7 years, you think I'd date my brothers WIFE if we spend time tgt for those years? No. Fuck no.

It doesnt even seem to click with Five's personality, because he's so insanely loyal and caring towards his family. He would not do that, if we were to follow his personality from s1 to 3.

This brings me to Ben.

I have never been the biggest sparrow Ben fan, I'll admit that. I've always been an umbrella Ben fan and sometimes I wished sparrow Ben was more like him.

So you can imagine, I was happy when he started to appear more caring for Jeniffer.

Until they totally switched up his character.

Yes, he was influenced by the bond (which reminds me of the whole nesting situation of the last episode, which I must admit was very entertaining) which made him more loving yadaydaydaya. But everyone shows their love in a different way, sparrow Ben' type of loving is in no way shape or form sweettalking and grossly cutesy forms of affaction.

You might think so (the writers apparently did) but I surely disagree.

So his personality was, as you might guess, also out of the window.

His talking brings me to my next point. The dialogue.

I'm not sure if its just me, but it was so.goddamn.messy.

It was no dialogue, it was just a bomb of one liners aiming for nothing.

It had no feeling, no personality. Its as if the writers saw the one liners we liked, pasted them into an ai engine, and let it spit out 100 new ones to fill the movie.

I would like to give specific examples, but it happened all.the.time. If you dont believe me, watch the last episode. The only in character person was Victor (even though he's not my bestie, I loved that they stayed true to his character) with wanting to save his siblings, standing up to their father, wanting to keep his peace but always choosing to help his siblings no matter how much they hurt him in the past.

He was the only one who felt like the same person as the other season. Even Reggie was a goddamn mess (and thats something to say about that uptight bastard)

Now this part is purely personal. But the plot? The scenes? The entire construction was such a mess.

First of all. 7 years in that station? 7years? Youre telling me that super smart old man Five didnt think to look at those lines first before stepping in that train? You think "I must know everything and enything about everything and anything" Five didnt look up, took a good glance at those letters and knew. "Mhmm. Thats that weird writing my father used. How bout I try to TRANSLATE it BEFORE i step on this mystery train?"

If you think him stepping on a random train, not even looking at the map he picked up is in charcater? Sincerely, quit shitting my dick cuz no way you think that.

And then him giving up on finding his siblings? He was in an apocalypse for what? 50 years? And he always kept the stupid eye, thinking it might save his siblings. And now, here he is, giving up on them cuz he' a lil lost in daddy's train station?

Babes, you cant be serious.

Im aware that this post is very opinionated, and perhaps negative, but thats just how itll be. But if you feel offended by anything here, I do apologise. I love the series aswell, but his season, felt more like a 12 year old' followup story of season 3 (and that is not to say that 12 yo' cant write, cuz some of them r amazing, but you get the idea) and I cant believe they actually funded this.

And that is not to start about the decisions they made. Ben making them drink the marigold? Five not just going back to that moment if he could time travel (which he coulve bcz him and Lila went back to the "present" which is 7 years earlier than when they were stuck). Then stop them from drinking the Sake/Marigold. Merging the marigold with Jennifer and everything is fixed? Bcz they didnt have their powers anymore?

Either way

I might follow up on this, I might not.

But I do hope that some share my opinion, even if many dont.

i Very Rarely relate to characters in shows but i feel like geto is one of the exceptions hehehe i feel like our moral views align in a way which we both tried to believe and do what's "right" without much questioning at first and then suddenly got slapped in the face by the reality of what a 'society' entails 😀 so uh. similar thought processes and experiences during the whole ordeal of discovering the world sucks and there's no way to really fix it (without murder? dshkfsjd) him and i are one and the same minus the genocidal tendencies<33 i also feel like his personality is quite toned down and calm unless he's surrounded by people closest to him, which is very me!!!!!

hhghhgf hard question. i basically love it all but ill try to limit myself to one each

i love seeing lonely yuuji that's surrounded by people </33 in general that's such a real, painful, gorgeous, often overlooked aspect of being human, and it's often dismissed in everyday life bc 'U HAVE FRIENDS WDYM UR LONELY!' but anytime i see it written in fic the descriptions and the raw defeat and the pain just hit so hard, and it just matches the character of yuuji SO SO SO well. he's so open but he just Cant Seem To Get Close to people in Any Meaningful Way. oh my GODDDD it hurts So Bad but i adore it. it's my favourite thing to read. and special mention to loner yuuji who isnt surrounded by people too. lonely yuuji has his own reserved yuuji shaped spot in my heart

i feel like i love everything about yuuji's character so it's hard to pick a dislike 😭 i think it's more of a mischaracterisation than an authors creative choice, but i dont love it when yuuji is portrayed as sort of morally grey or slightly mean bc to me that's just not even him anymore sdjfhsdjhf yuuji is a ray of sunshine who does everything to make everyone else feel at ease!!!!!!! who r u writing bc that isnt him!!!!!

i love it when fics make him suffer :3 as if we dont have enough of that in the manga........but i truly feel megumi's character is a great vessel to use in order to explore deeply rooted trauma, crises and complex emotions - his philosophy already illustrates that he doesnt blindly follow the objective 'good' and he doesnt see the world as black and white, which points to him generally being more self-aware and thoughtful. i feel like this translates into a sort of 'open space' in his character to freely and deeply explore for example shame, societal pressures, lived trauma, guilt or some internal struggles etc, whereas for example yuuji would probably be slightly more in denial, which would mean the thought processes described would be less direct and harder to explore deeply imo. so basically megumi is the epitome of overthinking and i like seeing him suffer over it :3

for dislikes in fic uhmmmnnmmn. id say making him too sweet/nice/open? in my mind the core of his character is that he's sorta standoffish and distant and mean lmaoo so it's strange seeing him fold immediately and be super sweet; i like seeing the gradual trust building and eventually opening up a bit but still keeping his personality!! but that's just a personal preference and actually now that i think abt it it's not that it bothers me when i see it lmaooo i just prefer the latter

FIRST DATE WITH THAD CARLSON CYOA

He’d slipped a note through the grates of your locker, it was written in perfect cursive and fluent Vulcan. To save any embarrassment to either party, he wrote a translation on the back, still in his beautiful sloped handwriting. He instructed you to meet outside the library at 7pm sharp, wearing something presentable but not overly formal, and hoped sincerely that you would come. Both sides were signed, there was no question who the invitation could be from.

So, enticed by the note, you go. Following his note to the letter, you go straight to your dorm after class, get ready and wait. Arriving exactly at 7, you see Thad is there, and seemed to have been there for a while. He’s dressed in a good pair of jeans, sneakers that look new out of the box and a t-shirt with a faded Star Trek decal on it. He has a bomber jacket over his shoulder, littered with pins. He steps forward with a smile “You look… wow.. are you ready to go?” DIALOGUE OPTIONS: “YES, LETS GO!” “ACTUALLY, IM KINDA BUSY TONIGHT” “ THAT DEPENDS ARE YOU READY?”

YES LETS GO: Thad smiles and takes your arm, the pair of you walk awash from the library and out of the school grounds. He apologies to you and explains you’ll have to walk to the date location, his bike got stolen and he didn’t have the money to pay the bully to give it back. He seems a little embarrassed about it, its not as great first impression to make your date walk a mile before the date’s even really begun.

IM KINDA BUSY TONIGHT: Thad looks disappointed. Why even bother coming in the first place if you knew you couldn’t make it. His brows furrow and he storms past you, presumably back to the dorms to cry himself to sleep. MISSION FAIL.

ARE YOU READY?: Thad raises his brow, instantly feeling a little self conscious his posture changes so that he’s hiding himself a little. His face scrunches and he asks you “Are you kidding?” DIALOGUE OPTIONS: “YEAH, MY BAD. YOU LOOK GREAT” “NO, I THOUGHT THIS WAS A SERIOUS DATE” —> YEAH, MY BAD. YOU LOOK GREAT: Thad’s face relaxes and he approaches, albeit a little tentatively, offering his arm for you to take “Cheeky, I like it… justht remember to inflect when you joke like that. It doethn’t feel great” —>NO, I THOUGHT THIS WAS A SERIOUS DATE: Thad’s lip quivers a little bit and he looks genuinely crushed by the mean spirited comment. He runs around the side of the library and takes refuge in the Observatory MISSION FAIL

Eventually, the walk to the place was over and the actual date could begin. He held the door open for you and allowed you to step inside. The room is dimly lit, only the faint glow from several games cabinets filled the room. The carpet is old, a relic of the 1980’s. Thad looks over at you expectantly “So, pretty cool huh?” DIALOGUE OPTIONS: “ITS KINDA DARK IN HERE, CANT THEY TURN THE LIGHTS ON?” “YEAH, MAYBE IF YOU HAVE NO FRIENDS” “SURE IS, THIS PLACE IS HUGE!”

ITS KINDA DARK IN HERE, CANT THEY TURN THE LIGHTS ON?: Thad looks over with a thoroughly puzzled expression, hadn’t you ever been to an arcade before? He scrunches his nose up a little and provides a little extra clarity “You get sthcreen glare if the lighths are too bright, you cant play the gameth properly, and its… mood lighting I gueth .” He feels a little awkward, but its not a complete write off yet.

YEAH, MAYBE IF YOU HAVE NO FRIENDS: Ouch, what a hurtful thing to say to someone you’re on a date with! First or otherwise. Thad doesn’t have to stand for this, and he doesn’t. He leaves the arcade and makes sure to slam the door closed on your hand. Have fun getting to the ER on your own loser! MISSION FAIL

SURE IS, THIS PLACE IS HUGE!: Thad’s smile widens and he ushers you to come in through the threshold, he lets the door drop from his hands and gives you time to look around before he speaks again “And thisth isn’t even all of them, there’th a secret room for black card members”

Once you’re inside and acquainted with the surroundings, the pair of you split off for about an hour to play your own games for a while. Kind of odd for a first date but Thad purposely picks games that are in the cabinet next to you or just across, eventually he suggests the pair of you play a multiplayer game, leading you over to a Mortal Kombat cabinet “Pretty cool right, lets pay a few rounds, I’ve got plenty of time” ACTION OPTIONS: PLAY POORLY, MAKE HIM FEEL MASCULINE. KICK HIS ASS, SHOW HIM YOURE A GAMER. REFUSE, ITS WEIRD.

PLAY POORLY, MAKE HIM FEEL MASCULINE: He doesn’t really seem to notice, but seems a little saddened when he wins and not you. The game doesn’t last all that long, its the first time he’s gotten a fatality in less than five minutes. Maybe its an excuse to bring you back and show you the ropes.

KICK HIS ASS, SHOW HIM YOURE A GAMER: Thad enjoys this very much, its a hard fought battle that eventually ends in a win for you, he turns and smiles as Johnny Cage’s blood fills the screen “Kudos to you, a match well won”

REFUSE, ITS WEIRD: Thad sets his jaw, he’s already inserted his quarters into the game. Not one to waste what little money he had left after having to run his wallet earlier in the day, he waves you off to play against the CPU “Okay well.. thereth the door” MISSION FAIL

After many hours of arcade fun, the date is over, and the pair of you retreat back to Bullworth, choosing to take a late bus instead of walking back. You sit quietly on the bus, its not a long journey back from town. And its nice to sit and contemplate on a pretty successful date, and all done within the parameters of curfew. All that was left was to give the evening a perfect ending. Shifting awkwardly on the balls of his feet, Thad looks to you with a hint of resignation on his face as he prepares himself to do the chivalrous thing “Howth abouuths I walk you to your dorm?” DIALOGUE OPTIONS: “NO, THATS OKAY, IM GONNA GO SEE IF EDNA WILL GIVE ME A LATE-NIGHT SNACK” “NO. YOUVE BEEN AROUND ME QUITE ENOUGH FOR ONE NIGHT” “THAT’S SWEET, THANK YOU”

NO, THATS OKAY, IM GONNA GO SEE IF EDNA WILL GIVE ME A LATE-NIGHT SNACK: Thad nods curtly, understanding the trials and tribulations of getting hungry in the night. He appreciates your politeness and sincerity “Thankths for coming out.. oh and word to the withse. Don’t take any fruit, Bucky found a worm in hith apple thith morning”

NO. YOUVE BEEN AROUND ME QUITE ENOUGH FOR ONE NIGHT: Ouch. What a bum note to finish off a date that in Thad’s eyes has been such a beautiful symphony. Jeez, that’s the last time he hand writes a note for you again. MISSION FAIL

Summary: ‘Three are the rules we need to respect: first, we have twelve hours; second, listen to my instructions and don't change anything; third, leave to the past what's in the past and don't ask about the future.' Cheng Xiaoshi knew them well, Lu Guang told him those rules everytime before working. By then, he learned not to question them, they didn't know what could happen playing with the past and modifying it. But did the rules still make any sense if Lu Guang was dead?

Prevision: In which Lu Guang goes back into the past to save Cheng Xiaoshi

Summary: Lu Guang did not make mistakes, he always evaluated all the possibilities in front of him rationally, it was what he had to do to allow the survival of both of them, to allow their time travels to go as smooth as possible, but letting himself be dragged into Cheng Xiaoshi's do-gooder madness had been the first big mistake of a long chain. September 12th 2020 was the day when that realization hit him like a sucker punch straight in the center of his chest, leaving him on the floor gasping for air, in pain.

One of the earliest Magica stories, this one is from 1969. One of the most creative out there, especially for being such an early one. Also there’s a scene where Magica goes all scarface (i think, i have never watched that stuff i just heard he goes all shooty shoot) and thats quite amusing.

Really sweet comic. Everyone who only knows Magica from ducktales should read this comic to understand how much more complicated her character is in the original comics. It does such a great job at showing the other facets of her character in such a simple way. Don’t listen to the inducks review of m3gr1ml0ck (he’s almost always super based but not this time). Listen to the inducks review of Appie Aap (who is always based because he’s Appie Aap).

Kind of overrated in my opinion but Sarda’s characterization is PERFECTION. Story is average asf (though maybe i need to reread it) but all the little things are so incredibly well done. Molinari is great too of course.

It’s one of the recent more well known comics yeah okay but its mostly known because people thought Vian thought Etna was the Vesuvius (which they solved with a simple dialogue change in the German translation because it really was not that complicated guys) and it should be known for being a great comic instead. One day I will write a really long review about why it’s a masterpiece. Maybe. It perfectly manages to bring back the spirit of the Sarda written comics without some of the annoying quirks of his writing and with the fact that Bruno Enna is writing now and I love Bruno Enna guys robophobia is a masterpiece last hunt is a masterpiece i love bruno enna-

Magica really cates about Ratface part 2. These two comics aren’t must reads but they’re good to help understand Magica and Ratface their relationship. (In italian comics at least. They seem to hate each other sometimes in Denmark)

Egmont knows no borders) It IS quite well known, but tumblr here seems mostly familiar with Italian comics and this story has never been published in Italy, so I still think it deserves a mention. I was never a big fan of it, but all the inducksers seem to like it and i cant ignore its significance. So here it is i would still recommend.

i definitely saw a post about this somewhere and have adopted it as canon, but the way that house is always overly sexualising people/situations (mainly cuddy/cameron), making sexual jokes and innuendos out of everything, it almost seems like a mask? if you cant feel/dont understand sexual attraction then just fake it til you make it right ?? (its me im ace i do this)

also that hes always hiring sex workers to the point where wilson and the others comment on it multiple times, but it's always to do random things (like translate files, play instruments i think?) and its only implied maybe twice that house actually slept with them

I 10000% agree about the sexual innuendos being a mask/façade!! I personally think part of why he does it is to push people away. But I absolutely LOVE the 'fake it till you make it' interpretation, because 1) I understand it so well, before I realized I was a lesbian I tried to "fake it till ya make it" so hard with being attracted to guys, and 2) I can see him almost treating it like a bit after a while, lol. Trying to make the innuendos snappy or witty or funny. He just goes all or nothing with everything he does, so I think you're right that of course he would for this, too.

I defo wouldn't have thought of this myself but I sooo enjoyed reading your take on it!! I can see it. I would totally read a fic/writing exploring this

ANOTHER VIOLENCE QUESTION???? NONNIE WHY ARE YOU INCITING VIOLENCE???? I guess I don't prefer when his relationship with Tsuna is diminished within the fandom.. I think it's the pinnacle of the series and they're the face of it for a reason. Acting like they're somehow wrong for each other or that their relationship isn't as close as we act like? You don't have to prefer it, it doesn't have to be your thing, but I think time and time again its shown that Reborn understands Tsuna deeply and Tsuna appreciates that he's here with him. I get why he has ppl who dislike him, slapstick comedy hasn't translated well into modern day fandom, and hes generally a bit of a cocky mf but I think hes loveable and he shines the best around the Vongola kids when he's mentoring them.

21. If you're a fic writer and have written for this character, what's your favorite thing to do when you're writing for this character? What's something you don't like?

I really like to play with his descriptions (he's got a lot of motifs to his character that are fun to put into writing as a symbol!) and physical comedy humor. He's a funny guy to write, he just does things and you don't have to explain it, he just wouldve. I also love doing character studies on him, where I explore his thoughts about whatever event. It's!! really fun!!! As for what I don't like, mostly my own insecurity coming through here but dialogue... I have tricks I do in my own writing to try and get character voice down, when it comes to actual writing. But, HES JUST SUCH A SPECIFIC GUY.. HE DOES RANDOM SHIT, BUT HE CAN'T **SAY** RANDOM SHIT. I hope you know what I mean nonnie.

i know this may be a hard question to answer but i would like to hear your thoughts anyway! when you’re writing a fic, how do you start?? i always get the idea and obsess over it in my head for a long time but can never get the motivation to actually put pen to paper (or fingers to my laptop ig??). i always seem to get stuck in the little things like how to start a fic, or breaking up dialogue without it being too wordy etc. and then i give up until i get a new idea and the cycle repeats again?

hello!! this IS a hard question to answer, you're right!! but i can talk a little bit about my process :)

when I'm writing a fic, I always tend to write in chronological order. so, I start from the top, and I go until I'm done! However, to try and keep things organized, I always make a jotlist of everything I want to happen in the fic so I can follow that as a sort of guide when I'm writing. here's some horrible examples so you understand what I mean and also what a weirdo I am:

so then i have a jot list like this !! or, in the event of a Longer fic, I write up an outline!!! which, for a fic like MiM looks a lil something like this (for 13 pages) (I highlight as I finish the scene)

I also like to go scroll through pinterest and make a board sometimes for inspo so I can kind of get a feel for the vibe that I want!! or I make a playlist for the fic!! or I go pitch the idea to a friend and go "what do you think!!!" and talk through it with them. All of these things aren't actually writing the fic but they are preparing me mentally to get started on it !!! it's just about trying to translate your thoughts into physical things (like a moodboard, a jotlist, an outline, a playlist) that can then inspire you to work on the actual fic itself!!!

and, when it comes to stuff like worrying the dialogue is too wordy, you just cant !! you cannot get bogged down by stuff like this!! especially not in your first draft!! think of it this way: writing a first draft is shoveling sand into a sandbox, writing a second draft is turning it into a castle. at first, all you have to worry about is getting the words on the page!! worry about all the tiny details and the nit-picky stuff later when you're editing!!

I don’t usually read threesomes in general so it was a little bit of a mental challenge to write something I don’t enjoy a ton lol but I quite enjoyed writing it when I eventually got started on it so I’m happy that it translated to a piece people enjoyed :,)

Ooooh these theories!!! Yeonjun starting to see her in a romantic light after fucking is entirely plausible lmao. Him being annoyed about catching feelings because of the unsure aspect is 😂 I did write fetish with mc starting to like Beomgyu in mind, or at least some sort of switch flipping on after watching the sex tape and even more so when he gets down on his knees to eagerly eat her out, a little different from how Yeonjun does it (hes more skillful and has more intent with every little thing he does, beomgyu…the opposite 😭).

Now, what I chose to leave up to the reader is whether Beomgyu likes her or not. Yes he couldve been eager to fuck her because he likes her, orrrrr he couldve been eager because hes a horny dog and he finds mc, in his own words, “mega hot” 😂 I do see the him keeping his promise backfiring a little because he makes dumb decisions like that, definitely in character lmfaooo

i dont mind it, but i think it has to fit the story. but one of my pet peeves is when people but dialogue in another language and then put the translation in the chapter notes - i have a goldfish brain and by the time i get to the end of the chapter i have forgotten what the dialogue was about

Do you think people don't really often push them selves to ponder and engadge with work that is beyond just surface level entertainment do to some inate law of life, that some people cant be helped.

Or is it more the fault of the "culture", even maybe an nefarious "dumbing down"? I remember once Logo pointed out how America actually used to be one of the most well read countries just two hundred years ago it really made me think.

Hell even my grandparents who lived through the soviet union seemed to know and enjoy a lot of literature, not even speaking about shit like Operas which are totally foreign to me - and they are quite simple and practical people, so its not like they are an exception.

I don't think we can compare an agrarian society in a fairly primitive state of print culture where everybody spoke sagely because they'd read the King James Bible and only the King James Bible to a complex and increasingly urbanized society where everybody has smartphones. If you read Thoreau, who was writing back in Logo's literate America, he thought his fellow citizens were morons who needed to read the translated Indian and Chinese classics, abandon their business-minded ways, and live closer to nature. It's always something. Those Bible-readers also thought their countryman Melville was a lunatic the minute he started writing unpredictable novels rather than sexy travelogues, and there wasn't a hope in hell of their understanding the visionary poems of their reclusive spinster neighbor Dickinson. Nowadays Thoreau's, Melville's, and Dickinson's schizoposts would be the center of online cults, and they would feel themselves appreciated, not to mention that the asexual Thoreau and the homosexual Melville could live their erotic lives as they wished without being pestered by women trying to marry them or marry them off, while Dickinson—perhaps controversially, she's always seemed straight to me—could at last find a man able to keep up with her. We do enjoy advantages they did not.

You have a point, though, with your comparison between now and the mid-20th-century, when the communist and capitalist worlds both stressed a certain cultural uplift of the masses through their educational institutions and through their media. I'd rather live now than in the 1850s without a doubt, but sometimes the 1950s don't look so bad from the point of view of mainstream culture. I'd say things really have been dumbed down in education and in public culture since then, but, again, it may just be an inevitable result of the changed media landscape. Classical music and serious literature had a more captive audience in 1955 that's just not possible today even if anybody wanted to bring it back—and even that culture tended to be middlebrow, suspicious of certain forms of difficulty or complexity, or else of vulgarity and vitality. In 1955, all the intellectuals were complaining about rock and roll and comic books, whereas now Bob Dylan has the Nobel Prize, and I haven't taught a college-level literature course that wasn't exclusively about comic books in almost five years. And yet I can write and speak about whatever I want online, including serious matters, and I do.

ok im gonna try and write a coherent post on my thoughts on the finale. keep in mind that im not saying that brennan or the players intended it to be read this way, this is just how i interpreted it. starting off: i dont think anyone remembers the events of the show. it seems at moments that maybe the pcs remember while everyone else forgot, but that seems deeply antithetical to the whole point of what they did and i think they would realize that and not just play along. i think maybe everyone, including npcs and pcs, has some deju vu at moments over things that would remind them of their previous lives, but do not fully remember the events. ok now veering of into the deep end a bit. i think the pcs lost. i cant wrap my mind around this utopia theyve created being anything other than a happily ever after. i think its a different story, a happier one that lends more autonomy to its characters, but a story nonetheless. i dont see how this could be a world where everyone has free will and that translates to everyone being kind and loving and much softer overall. the pcs get everything they wanted. they get back everything they gave up, pinocchio becomes real, rosamund gets control, and gerard gets a version of tom thumb who wakes up at 8am. thats one thing that really stuck out to me and i know i sound insane right now but why would, in a world where he supposedly writes his own story, would tom thumb wake up at 8am to work out with gerard at 9? except for the obvious reason: this is story is written to please gerard. in the battle, the fairy with the turquoise hair picks pinocchio and his joy over the other fairies. my theory generally goes that she didnt actually stop believing in the fairies goal, but twisted it to benefit pinocchio and his friends. give them a perfect world they wont fight against (theyre idealistic enough to get duped by this i think. sorry). she gets to be his maternal figure in this new world. everyone who matters gets everything they want. they cant even remember the world before and theyre happy enough to not go searching for it. anyway i know this isnt "canon" but its the only way i can really read the ending.

lately

hi, its been a while. a lot has happened, but none of it was crazy enough to immediately write about. school has ended for me, maybe like a couple of weeks ago. so i cant really see him anymore. i was taking a class for a few days at the beginning of the summer and he was still working so i passed by him a couple times, and neither one of us acknowledged each other. but i ended up dropping the class for a couple of reasons, so now i've doomed myself to a life without him again. i am slightly regretting dropping the class because i miss him. i hoped that this summer would lead to me not dwelling too much on him, but its only made it worse. and i had a dream about him last night, so all i can think of is him, its the worst. like i said i was hoping that this summer would be the break that i so desperately needed, but everything reminds me of him. so much of my room is covered in those reminders. like the stuff that he 3d printed for me and the gifts he got me for my birthday. he got me a movie. lost in translation, which is one of my favorites, and a book that he said was apparently like it. i've read almost 4 chapters of the book so far and its really good but i haven't finished it yet. i need to since it'll be a reason for me to text him. i've thought about just texting him randomly but it feels weird and i don't know if he'd ever actually respond, at least the book gives more of a reason where he should answer me back. i wonder if he has even thought of me at all in these past couple of weeks. if he's wondered where i've been since i stopped showing up to school. i hate how it never seemed like i had much of an affect on him but to me he was all i could think of. it makes me feel so stupid. i know its bad but since i haven't texted him i've just resorted to checking his account to see if he ever posts anything, or to see if his follower count ever changed. earlier, to distract myself i started watching a movie, but it only made me think of him more. my situation follows me everywhere, it doesn't matter if i happen to stop dwelling on it, it comes back and finds me immediately. i feel like since its been a while, i should explain what has happened in the past month but its too much for this one post so i'll come back later and fill you in.
