I started watching MLP when I was like 10 because my baby brothers wanted to watch it and I liked it but after that I hadn’t seen it in years so I thought I’d get back into it. I was especially into the mlp creepypasta stuff (it was like the first official fandom I got into when I was 8 and it lasted until I was like 14 and I got a new hyperfixation which was Assassination Classroom, let me tell you— being in the Fnaf, Minecraft, Undertale, and Eddsworld fandoms in that time frame as well was wild. The fanfics and crossovers were embarrassing, y’all.)

Also, horse girl? I had to be one in middle and high school cause my mom made me take riding lessons and at least one competition lol. While I didn’t like it because I nearly broke my hip doing so, I’m still salty they sold the horse I mainly rode for two years and the new owner was a bitch and wouldn’t even let me walk past his stall because she was so possessive. I also get the burnout, I wanna write so bad and I have so many ideas but I just can’t write. I want to finish my second Chuuya hurt/comfort fic and Dazai hurt/comfort fic cause they’re almost done (my Chuuya one is 4k+ words long and the Dazai one is being a bitch and deleted half of my progress). He mostly shows affection through excessive flirting. You'll know if hes sincere about his flirting depending on what he says. If it sounds heartfelt, it probably is.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

He'd be a really loyal friend, but he will absolutely annoy you to no end. He doesn't have too many people he can call real friends besides the rest of the Ginyu Force, so he wants to hang out and bother you a lot.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Hes pretty cuddly, but he also doesn't have much time for just you and him. He loves to cuddle, but it's usually when watching a movie or if you two haven't seen eachother in a long time.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

He sucks at cooking, dont let him near the kitchen. He is the master of ordering takeout though. He's pretty good at cleaning, but that's because Captain Ginyu often gets the Ginyu Force to clean around Lord Frieza's ship.

He would probably just slowly drift away from you. He does it in a way that you dont even know hes breaking up with you until he tells you.

Hes not really a marriage type of guy, but will definitely agree if you ask. You'll have to be together for a long while before he will want to say yes though.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Hes pretty gentle with loved ones, so he treats you pretty delicately. Emotionally, he takes a while before you actually dig down to the real emotions and not the ones he puts up as a facade.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Hugs are his go to when he sees you around but cant stay and chat for too long. So like if he passes you in the mess hall before a mission, he'll give you a hug and a small smooch before running off to the designated station.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

He'll say it pretty early on, but it takes him awhile to actually mean it. He waits to see if he actually does love you without leaving you hanging when you say it to him.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

He gets jealous a lot, but most of it is just for show. If he is with you, its because he trusts you, so he just makes a display because hes extra like that.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

It depends on where you are. If its in front of the rest of the Force, then hes not gonna get very mushy with you out of fear of getting teased. If its after a long mission, he gets you alone and kisses you like he means it.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

Hes never thought about it, but it wouldn't be hard to convince him into wanting kids. Hes pretty friendly around kids, so he would be a pretty good dad, if a bit careless.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Hes not a morning person, so he needs at least three cups of coffee before he can function properly. After that, hes back to normal.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Hes usually pretty tired at night, especially if he just got back from a mission. If he had the day off, hes pretty cuddly until he actually falls asleep.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

He waits quite awhile to open up to you. He wants to wait and see if he can actually let you in on whatever is on his mind, or if you'll criticize him for it. The Frieza Force isn't the friendliest group of guys to spill secrets to, so hes cautious.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

Hes a pretty chill guy, so it takes a bit to actually piss him off. Hes pretty tolerant of most people. Except Salza.. he hates Salza with a fiery, burning passion.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

Hes not very good at remembering things, but he knows when your birthday is, when your anniversary is, stuff like that.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

When you and the rest of the Ginyu Force all went out to a pretty stylish restaurant. You all definitely got kicked out at some point, but it was fun while it lasted.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Hes not so much protective as much as he is a worrier. He knows hes not gonna be there to protect you most of the time, so he just worries until he can see you again. Then he goes and fucks up whoever, if anyone, messed with you while he was gone.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

He gives you little souvenirs from the planets he visits(or destroys). He likes to spoil you on special days like anniversaries, so he holds onto the really nice stuff for those days.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

He flirts around. He would never actually cheat on you, but hes a big flirt. You can tell him to tone it down, but it's not something hes gonna actually stop for a while.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

He absolutely thinks hes hot shit and will fight anyone who dares say otherwise. He loves being complemented. It strokes his already big ego.

Depends on how long you've been together. If you were just a fling, he couldn't care less. If you were actually someone he held dear, he would be pretty devastated.

When the air gets really humid, his hair frizzes so bad he almost has an afro. He usually hides away until he can get his hair under control, so not many have actually seen him like that.

How easy is it to earn your Shepard’s trust? Difficult, with exceptions. she is distrustful of most people when she first meets them, especially civilians, politicians, or mainstream journalists. Alliance soldiers/officers get a boost in her trust, especially if well recommended by someone she already trusts. she will still distrust these to a certain degree until they’ve personally earned her trust. If you save her life/have you life saved by her, you are on the fast track to real trust.

What are their flaws? Do they like talking about them and/or do they acknowledge them and try work on them? She has a short temper and is prone to violent outbursts, she is cold calculations when it comes to making tactical military decisions, and sometimes lets her pride get in the way of responding rationally to pressure.

What memory do they like to remember? - a select few moments from her youth, like kicking it back with Lex or Simona, driving around like they owned the city, orbreaking her leg and convincing the nurse that Kolton was her father. What was your Shepard’s dream job before they became a soldier? - she couldn’t see herself doing anything but running in a gang. Once she joined the alliance she was intending to serve and go to college but couldn’t fathom what she would do once she got there.   

From what culture does your Shepard come? Do they have any traditions? If they’re Earthborn and/or don’t know much about their background: From what city/planet does your Shepard come? Did they create any traditions based on the city they grew up in? - she’s Earthborn, and hardly knew her parents, and as a result, her heritage. She’s from the Seattle-Portland Metropolis and as a result is kind of a snoot when it comes to real coffee or street art. Beyond that, she has a fuckload of tattoos due to running in a gang all of her youth, including a list of names/dates that runs down her back, and gets new ones crammed in for every significant event. between being in a gang and the military, she has a lot of superstitious rituals about things that you don't say or do surrounding battle. she's a big believer in luck, but if you ask if she's superstitious she will tell you no, then in the same breath tell you to stop doing that thing you're doing.

Did they want to be a part of the N7 program? - She didnt know what it was until Anderson suggested that she go for it. She applied not thinking that she would get in but what dumbfounded and ecstatic when she did. She called Dan and Uri when she found out. they sent her a congratulations card and a necklace which she still has.

What embarrasses them? - people pointing out her flaws and mistakes. her pride gets injured and she gets mad, fast. she rubs her the wrong way when people ask about her tattoos, which is why she stays covered collar to cuff when shes in command or in public.

What are their hobbies and which hobby is their favorite? - she builds model ships in her downtime, and listens to podcasts about mundane shit like watchmaking or cooking or ask-annie type podcasts. these are her favorite and usually happen at the same time. she also dances, like. throw-down-and-school-Jimmy-Vega-with-sick-ass-break-dancing dances. she doesn’t enjoy this one as much because she learned it in the Reds, so she doesn’t do it often but the expression on people’s faces is priceless.

What animal(s) do they like the most? - She really likes fish and birds, pet-wise. when the SR2 came with a fish tank suddenly all the podcasts and wikipedia articles she’d binged came in handy. she was like. stupid excited.

What is their favorite drink or cocktail? - Vodka. straight. she doesn’t mess around. then she will drink cranberry juice.

Are they more of a coffee person or tea person? - Coffee, but only good coffee. She’s from Seattle, after all. if the coffee is bad, she will take caffeine pills in lukewarm water instead, or down it in one like a shot and then go brush her teeth. 

What is their favorite kind of weather? - gentle rain and overcast. with dapples of sun. Seattle in March.

What’s your Shepard’s favorite weapon? - Shotgun. and grenades

Which armor does your Shepard like? - the heavier the better, with as many grenade spots ass possible.

What songs does your Shepard sing in the shower? - Hip hop/ rap.  or spoken word/jazz.

Do they like a specific music genre or do they usually listen to whatever song they like? - she cant really abide anything that doesn’t have a strong beat or decent lyrics. she also avoids most instrument-based music.

Which planet do they like the most? - Earth will always be home to her, no matter how bad it treated her.

Which planet do they hate? - Horizon and Virmire. Not just for the bad events, but also. too humid. too sunny.

Can your Shepard cook? - functionally, yes. but not well and not fancy.

What color do they think they look best in? Do they actually look best in that color? - She thinks she looks best in gold. she also looks great in red. When she joined the Alliance she swore off wearing red, but after she joined the N school, red took on a new kind of pride for her. it was a reclamation of the color. that said, if she is going to Earth, she does not wear red.

What is their height and what body type does your Shepard have? - six feet tall and fucking stacked.

If you could change Shepard’s voice in-game, which voice actors would you choose for them? - never. Jennifer Hale is God.

Who is your Shepard’s LI? - Kaidan Alenko

How does your Shepard like to spend time with their LI? - She tried sharing the model ship building with Kaidan, but realized quickly that they could not be working on the same one at the same time and that she was much more possessive over the parts than she thought.  she does like that he can make them fly around with his biotics, though. She likes spending time outdoors with him, even simulated outdoors. they like quiet time and also getting way way too pumped for biotiball. they also get very competitive in mariocart.

Who is your Shepard’s best friend? - Garrus and Wrex. and Kaidan of course. Ashley in the timeline where she lives.

Does your Shepard like to relax? If so, what activities makes them relax? - She likes to but she doesn’t often have the time for it. she can only relax when she has no responsibilities she can be taking care of Right Now. Mostly Model Ship building.

How does your Shepard act like when they’re stressed? Do they hide it or do they make it obvious that they need to calm down? - she hides it very well, but after an extended period of stress it starts to show in various ticks and twitches, slightly faster speech and lowered attention span if she hasn’t been sleeping. any one of them is s bad sign, but when they start stacking stay out of her way.

How does your Shepard handle difficult situations? - she tends to be cold and calculating. If its a numbers issue, the answer is always obvious to her, no matter the morals (she made that mistake before). she doesn’t deal with things she cant control and she tends to save up her stress to deal with later.

How do they handle jealousy? - because of Botho, she spent so much of her youth absolutely green with jealously. it used to make her physically sick. Since then she never really had any strong relationships that warranted getting jealous over, so she thought she had gotten over it. But when Kaidan said he’d gone out with that doctor she felt a spike in her stomach of that same jealousy. She doesn’t necessarily make it the other person’s problem but it really affects her.

How do they handle guilt? she has so much saved up that she has learned to brush it off. she’s able to chalk it up to “I fucked up and I can never make it better so I might as well not worry about it and burn that bridge.”

Are they a genuinely funny person or do they prefer to annoy their squadmates with bad puns? - the bad puns are usually unintentional but then she points them out. she’s a fan of knock knock jokes.

Do they want to get married? - Yes, but not now. at least not until Nathan needs a new home and in that case YES HELL YES

How do they feel about children? - She had Nathan the day she turned 17 and left him with two loving fathers who kept her updated and became her own more-or-less adopted parents. She never expected to want custody of him or other children but when Dan and Uri die she jumps at the chance to take Nathan in, and also adopts a handful of other orphaned children in the wake of the Reaper War.

Long rant ahead.

So here's how my week (well most of my summer) has gone:

A 2 liter soda bottle fell off the counter and preceded to spray all over the kitchen floor and some walls

Next to no sleep because it's too hot even though I have four fans on full blast and the AC set to 70°F for the week and 68°F for the weekends

It's been 108-116°F and humid as hell one day it was 66% humidity on top of 109°F, this is supposed to be a dry heat state!!!!! At least if its humid I could get some damn rain storms but no, I get to see it happen from a distance, wont even touch my town.

2 minutes of cold water early in the morning then its lukewarm for 5 then blistering hot and usually is that way most of the time so cant take cold showers before bed (hate summer because no cold showers and vice versa for winter. My state sucks and thank fuck I'm moving to a different one)

My summer bottoms decide they're either to tight or ripped where my thighs rub so I'm stuck wearing black pants because I can't buy new ones and I barely have time to fix the ones I can

My phone decided to up and end itself by moving out of my back pocket in just a way that the screen broke and I cant use it, I have to just let it slowly lose battery and now I have to use an old phone where the headphone situation is jacked and I cant pair my bluetooth headphones to it because my broken phone still has some battery left

Oh and when I come inside the house after I finish work I'm dead on my feet and I cant do anything I want or need to do.

Plus headaches that pain pills cant put a dent in so I just have to sleep it off and most of them are eye based so yeah I'm fucked haven't had those since I got new glasses which were prism lenses and they were supposed to take the strain off my eyes, well guess what, it did for a few months, and I'm pretty sure I'm too broke to get help for that even with insurance

So this week has just been really fuckin great. Though it's been a slow decline since summer started. I just want to feel cold and get some sleep. And have a phone that's functioning.

Edit: And the old phone that I'm using right now has a shitty battery. I just started using my phone 2 hours ago and it's almost about to die.

Also my stress and anxiety levels are insanely high for no reason so I'm silently freaking about even the smallest/simplest of things. On top of a boiling anger that directed at everything and depression that magnifies everything. I've had therapists and such but none of them helped me to figure out what and why and how to take care of my issues. So yeah, I'm about done with everything.

Unlocking Secrets Part 10

He jolted awake, his mouth dry, and his body tired and achy. After clearing his throat and swallowing several times, he willed himself to go back to sleep. He lay in the position he awoke in for several moments, not yet willing to give up the warm comfortable position he was in. But that’s just the kind of luck he had, being comfortable and at peace in bed for once but other parts of his body screaming for attention. He would have to abandon his comfort and seek out a glass of water.  

He stood in the kitchen stretching out his fingers and shaking out his hand, trying to wake it from its feeling of sleepiness and soreness. When he finally decided to get up he found that he was still clutching on to Rae’s diary and as a result his hand had suffered a bit of a consequence.

He spent part of the morning thinking over his plans for the day and nursing a small hangover headache. His father wasn’t home and it was probably too early to bother Chop, and he figured that Chop would get a hold of him if anything were to happen.

So, to keep himself a busy he started work on his music case once more. Measuring and cutting wood, but his hand soon grew tired from its slept on position, which caused him to take several breaks in between boards.

He wiped the sweat off his brow with the back of his hand and decided to just pull off his shirt. The air was humid, and the material of his shirt was sticking to him like a second skin. Dropping his shirt on a chair near him he made his way into the house to get some water. He had stocked the fridge with some bottles for such occasions and when he opened the door the cool air was welcomed against his warmed skin. His nipples even slightly perking up against the soft breeze.

Downing half of the bottle he sighed in contentment before placing it back in the fridge. He made his way back out to the garden and before he could get close to his project his name was called. Looking over he found, Chop, grinning madly, then appeared Archie, Chloe, Izzy and last but certainly not least Rae.

He’s not sure why but he immediately crossed his arms over his chest as a he felt a faint blush creep into his cheeks.

“You workin’ hard or hardly workin’?” Chop teased, with a gapped tooth grin.

“Erm…well,” Finn trailed off and looked behind him at the work he’d done so far.

“It’s coming along then?” Archie commented.

“Yeah,” Finn, looked to him, trying not to shift his focus to Rae. “It’s getting there.” He shrugged.

“Listen, we were gonna head out to the park, do you wanna go?” Chop asked, as he motioned to the gang around him.

He wanted to say, yes, to give him fifteen minutes to shower and get ready, but something stopped him. A lump formed in his throat preventing him from saying the words. It was accompanied by an odd sensation in his stomach, so, not quite sure to make of what his body was telling him his simply shook his head.

“Oh, come on, Finn.” Chloe pleaded, with a small pout.

“Nah, I should really get as much of this done as I can. Can’t ever trust the weather.”

“Alright, see you around then.” Chop said, ending the discussion.

They all started to file out with murmured goodbyes, Finn nodded at them, but then there was a faint, “Bye Finn,” from Rae, accompanied by a small wave, and he murmured goodbye back instantly.

Three hours later he was sitting in his room, freshly showered and bored. Not exactly bored but he was thinking. Thinking about moving here, about his issues with his mom. He hated when he’d catch himself thinking about her, and about the events that led him and his dad to move. Hated that he couldn’t just forget; he knew it would take time. He just wished time would speed up some.

But mostly, he was thinking about, Rae.

She had overcome so much it seems; he knows from what he read in her diary and from what little he heard being around her, that he hadn’t even scratched the surface into the world of, Rae. He desperately was torn between wanting to know and not wanting to know more.

It didn’t matter anyway, because it wasn’t like he planned on telling her he knew, at least not at this point in time. It made him feel horrible sometimes, like the biggest creep in the world, to know these intimate details about someone while they are none the wiser.

Maybe, maybe, he could share something small about himself with her so he wouldn’t feel this way. It’s not like he knew he was ever going to meet her, but maybe he should have never read her diary in the first place. Maybe, he shouldn’t have read a small portion after he met her. There were so many maybes, but the one that seemed most important, the one he discovered was most prominent was, ‘maybe, I don’t wanna be just her friend’.

After the gang had left to go to the park, Finn couldn’t exactly continue on working. His mind was preoccupied and his skin was still prickly with goosebumps from seeing Rae, and from her speaking to him.

He had tried to talk himself out of it, tried to tell himself, that there was no way he fancied her, he barely knows her. But his heart tugged in his chest, and his brain made a ‘pfft’ and he knew he might be a little screwed. The fact is, that even if he did fancy her, which he still wasn’t sure yet, it just couldn’t happen. She’d hate him if she found out about the diary. But more than anything he wants to be her friend.

Speaking to her at Chops over cd’s, and when she asked to borrow some records, was easy and felt so natural, that he momentarily forgot everything else. In those short moments it was just them and the music, the one thing he knew they shared an exuberant passion for. It seemed so much and at one-time, that he needed to push the thought down, needed to not be so obvious at times.

He’d be her friend.

The sun was just in the stages of setting when he made his way back out to the garden. He had neatly stacked and piled the wood and covered it so it wouldn’t be damaged, but in his hurry to go and scrub away his feelings he left all the tools he was using out.

He picked up a bag of drill bits, and nearly dropped them, when a familiar voice asked, “Did you get a lot done today?”

He squeezed the bag in his hand to prevent from dropping them and made his way closer to the fence. His feet felt heavy, and his heart pounded harder with each step, and he prayed he wouldn’t say something dumb.

“Erm, yeah, more than I thought I would.” He shrugged, it was all he could think to say.

“I imagine it’s a tough work, cutting and drilling or whatever,” she replied, with a bit of an embarrassed smile, he thinks.  

“Um, yeah, just tedious I guess, but..”

“It’ll be worth it, no more crates, eh?” she said with a glint in her eye.

He couldn’t help the sharp short laugh that escaped him, “Definitely, no more crates. I take it you know the struggle?”

She huffed a small laugh, “I do.” She paused thinking, “Well, I did.” Her smile faltering some.

“So, how was the park?” he asked swiftly, and the small smile that appeared on her face makes him think it was a welcomed change in topic.

She rolled her eyes, and scoffed small with a hint of a smile, “Chop was on and on about sneezes and org—“ she stopped suddenly her eyes widening and her cheeks pinking up.

He couldn’t help but smile, she looked beautiful, with the sky a pinky orange behind her and her eyes shining, her cheeks colored a nice red now; he decided to save her a bit of embarrassment she might be feeling.

“Say no more. It’s not true by the way. He was saying the same thing last night, turns out it only causes bloody noses.” He grinned.

“Are you saying he…” she trailed off.

“He definitely did.” Finn nodded almost haughtily.

She chuckled and said, “I’m not even surprised if I’m honest. Was it bad then?”

“It wasn’t too bad but he was pretty cut up about not being right.”

“Do you think he’d try it again?” Rae asked.

A beat passed where they thought about and then suddenly both said, “Wouldn’t doubt.”

Causing them to erupt in a fit of laughter.

“Poor Chop,” Rae said trailing off her laughter, “I’m sure it was amazing to see, I’m sad to have missed it.”

“You..” were missed, is what he wanted to say, but instead, “You…would have gotten a good laugh out of it.” is what he settled on. It caused a small fluttering wrench in his stomach but he’d deal with that later.

“Yeah, well maybe he’ll try again one day,” she replied almost hopefully.

“I’m sure he will,”

“Rae! I didn’t know you were still here.”

Finn looked over Rae’s shoulder, as she turned slightly to see Chop, “Oh, yeah, I was chatting with, Finn,” she looked to him and softly smiled and he smiled back immediately.

“Oooooh I see,” Chop said, gleaming mischievously, almost.

“Um, well, I better get going then, see yous.” Rae said quickly.

Finn felt his heart drop a little, and he rushed out a quick, “Later, Rae!” but she continued on walking not acknowledging him.

He thought that was strange but would have to think on it later because Chop was still standing there smiling at him, “What?” Finn asked, almost sharply.  

Chop put his hands up in defense, “Nothin’ mate.” He started to slowly back away towards his house then added, “Was wondering why she chose to leave out the garden, but I guess I know now.”

Then before Finn could answer Chop was in his house leaving Finn wondering aloud, “What does that mean?”
