it's been really nice coming onto this blog again and seeing others enjoying my art seeing comments in the tags.
i think it might actually be helping me to just open MS-freaking-Paint and doodle simple, silly things. a lot of the time these days ill open sai and start trying to draw but then ill get frustrated or straight up bored in the middle of it and stop.
it really sucks. idk where the artist who used to be able to draw little comics or full body, fully rendered pieces went... the audhd burnout never really seems to end. bitches got no healthcare but need to get back on their meds (its me im bitches.)
i tend to put a lot of pressure on myself for things to be perfect and i dont even really realize im doing it. like, girl, why you got performance anxiety so bad? why does everything you put online have to be neat and perfect why cant it just be good enough?
theres a lot i draw that i just never show cause it just isnt to my standards... last year was a terrible art year for me. its not like i wasnt drawing, or that im not satisfied with at least of some of what i did but.
man.
maybe one of the reasons creating has gotten harder is cause i havent been sharing as much as i used to? perhaps not... but regardless, i think i want to change that this year...
and to all the new followers... hi. thank u. i love u

CHAPTER 2- ONE KISS LESS
ARTHUR/JOKER x YOU
Summary: you’re a rouge CIA psychiatrist who is also involved in arms dealing.hired by Jokers right hand man, Gary, to break him out of Arkham. You go undercover to as a state psychiatrist after Quinn steps down as lead DR but still works under you on his case even though she never shows much interest and leaves during the meetings. Its been a year since you got to Gotham and have everything prepared for Arthur to escape but both of you have fallen in love and he asks you to runaway with him. Now you have to decide between the love of your life or building your empire.
A/N: i know it starts off slow but I have big plans for chapter 3 which might be the last who knows. Any feedback or constructive criticism is welcome! Hope you Enjoy 😊
Tumblr media
“Turn the headlights off so we dont draw attention” you advised the driver as he pulled up the warehouse.
You had stayed up all contemplating if leaving with Arthur or Joker as he is known, would be a good idea. You wanted to rip your hair out thinking of all the what ifs. “Fuck it.” You said as you went into your closet to get your suitcase. Your heart was racing a thousand beats a minute and you couldnt stop smiling. Euphoria rushing through you like lava jumping and dancing hardly containing your excitement. “Had you ever been happier in your life?” You questioned. You packed just the basics you could always buy stuff later on. Ringing up the driver letting him know to pick you up at 8:00 on the dot. He had taken you to the warehouse before when you were looking for spots where Arthur could go and leave undetected.
“We’re here ms. L/N.” You were shaking and felt your hands get clammy. So much adrenaline occupied your body, but it would all be worth it. Finally getting your happy ending and building the future you and Arthur had talked about and planned all year. Reaching to open the door you saw the black SUV pull up in front of the warehouse. You had parked beside one of the abandoned buildings so no one could spot your car just incase. One of the doors opened. Watching intently, you knew once you saw him it would give you all the courage and reassurance you needed and that you were making the right decision.
“No , it cant be.” Disbelief washed over you as you witnessed the scene taking place in-front of you.
Cold. An ice cold wave washed over the glorious warmth you were feeling seconds before. In disbelief you saw Dr.Quinn get out of the SUV followed by Arthur. He had his red suit on and face paint perfectly applied. His once salt pepper hair was now green and slicked back to perfection. He looked just as beautiful and alluring as the videos and pictures you had seen. You couldn’t process what was going on. Your mind went straight into shock. If only earth could swallow you whole right now.
“Take me home now! GO!” You screamed at the driver, rage filling your voice.
Was this some sick joke? This couldn’t have possibly been Arthur, your sweet caring Arthur. Maybe it was and he just had to pull a Joker on you? God you had been so naive. Were they in on this together? Is that why she didnt want anything to do with his case? Was she pretending the whole time? Nothing made sense, so many questions flooded your mind. Not moving an inch the whole ride back all you could do was stare at the seat in front of you, snapping out of it when your driver opened the door.
Finally back at home. The atmosphere was dark and lonelier than you remembered. Heading straight to the bar pulling out a bottle of vodka. Maybe alcohol will kill everything you felt for him and erase the memories but all it did was make the numbness more palpable . You weren’t going to shed a tear for him ever again you promised yourself. The cold hard exterior you were known for was coming back.
The ringing of your phone woke you up from your alcohol induced sleep. “Shit” scrambling to find the loud device. Arkham had been calling all morning. 15 missed calls. “They probably know Arthur is missing by now and found his stand in you thought .”
“Hello?” You answered the phone trying to sound professional and not like you were still drunk from last nights bottle.
“Hi Dr.L/N, sorry to bother i know yesterday was your last day but we have an emergency Arthur Fleck seems to have escaped. We need you here ASAP.” The voice on the other line was the chief of psychiatry. Trying to yourself from puking as the memories of last night decided to make an appearance all at once.
“Ill head out right now.” Giving him your best concerned voice.
You had practiced this before, you knew exactly what to do so why were you so nervous? “Get it together.” You told yourself out loud. Getting ready in record time out the front door you went.
You walked into the board room. It was full of panicked staff and cops. “God I need some coffee.” You thought to yourself while rubbing your temples. Spotting the coffee station you walked over. Maybe this well help this horrible hangover and muster up a convincing performance.
“Thank you all for being here.” The chief expressed bringing the room to a hush. “ it seems that Arthur Fleck has escaped Arkham with the help of Dr.Harley Quinn.”
You almost chocked on your coffee. “How would they know he left with Dr.Quinn,” Confused you attentively listened.
“Somehow a look a like was put in as a double to throw the staff off and we don’t know how long he has been gone or if he is even in Gotham. We would like for everyone to cooperate with the police so we can get to the bottom of this.” His voice stern. One by one everyone was being called into the Chief’s office.
“Well stay in touch and call you if we need further information.” The officer smiled as he lead me out of the room. “Yes please do, ill be back in D.C. but please don’t hesitate to call if anything comes up.” giving him a slight smile and handshake.
They made copies of your year long notes on the case and you managed every question flawlessly. Everything worked out better then expected. Harley had signed off for every session that was done and you had even typed up her own notes so it would appear that she was present for all of them. There would be no suspicion that you were involved. Your job was done and now it was time to head back to D.C.
You called your assistant to get your bags and the plane ready. we’re heading back home. “Empires don’t build themselves!” You jokingly told her. Your smile vanishing as you hung up. He still managed to occupy every space in your mind. There was no escaping it. Would you ever see him again? Deep down you hoped he finds happiness even if its not with you.
The driver pulled up to the plane awaiting to take you home after a long year. The familiar knot tried to fight its way back into your throat but you wouldn’t let it. Climbing up the steps you stopped before walking into the plane and looked back. For such a grimey city it sure does have beautiful sunsets.
“Goodbye Gotham, Goodbye Arthur.”

I got my holster today and wore it while riding my motorcycle. I wore it up a little higher and it did not bind or dig into my side. I have owned many holsters in the past and this one is by far the best. I almost forget it is even there. Thank you very much! – James in Louisville KY
I ordered the brave response holster. Best everyday holster on the market. Works with any clothes. Love it. – Stuart in Highland UT
I have recently received my new Brave Holster. I must say this holster is unique, I like how a person can carry extra magazines and different size caliber firearms without switching to a different holster. This Concealed Carry Holster is the perfect holster for someone like me who works in high crime areas or someone who likes to hunt. With this holster, I feel like I’m prepare to protect my family in any environment. I highly recommend Brave holsters to be your choice for concealed carry holsters. -Patrick in Chicago (Current law enforcement and Firearm Instructor)
I love the holster. Very light weight, holds all three of my pistols of which are three different molds. I love that it doesn’t pull on my paints or shorts even wearing basketball shorts. Best holster I have ever owned. – Bryan in Leavenworth KS
I bought two of your holsters. I’m very satisfied. They are very comfortable and the fit is good. Your product is awesome and I hope to be doing business with you again in the future. – Fred in Arlington Hts IL
Holster is great. Solves some issues for carrying during summer when waistband carry is not always practical. Lightweight, but sturdy and secure. Fits snugly and subtly against the body. Great holster. – Shelli in Valley Center KS
As an NRA and Illinois Concealed Carry Instructor I have a lot of holsters to show the class. When I showed your holster the interest was overwhelming. They all wanted to look at it and touch and feel it. They liked the idea of it being independent of your pants or belt. You can adjust it for high or low carry. Deep or shallow. Plus the mag holders right by the firearm was a plus. You can also use it for a mini compact all the way up to the 1911. I personally have used it for the last 5 days and am also impressed with it. It stays where you put it, is very stable and can be adjusted very easily. All in all on a scale of 1-10 I would give it a strong 9. Thanks for making an innovative product for now and the future. – Gerald in Litchfield IL (Firearm Instructor)
I purchased my new holster because I was looking for something more comfortable for concealed carry. It is VERY comfortable! Also, it works great for all of my handguns and pistols. I have 2 revolvers and 2 semi autos. My Ruger KP95 is a large framed handgun and it carries comfortably. My .357 Magnus also carries quite comfortable with this holster. I basically replaced ALL my other holsters with this one. Thank you for a great design and the amazing comfort. I carry daily and was not always comfortable doing so until I got this holster. – John in Tooele UT
I love my new holster. I hated to carry because it always drags my pants down. This solves that problem and provides space for spare clips. I highly recommend. – Glenn in Louisville KY
Like a lot of guys I’ve been in the hunt for the best conceal carry holster. The “best” is somewhat subjective, but let it suffice to say, if your holster isn’t comfortable or doesn’t conceal your weapon well, you’re probably not going to be carrying your weapon. That means you’re likely to be unprepared when the need arises. I’ve heard it said that your holster shouldn’t be comfortable, it should be comforting. After wearing the new holster, I can say with conviction, “Nonsense”. My new holster allows me to carry my Glock 23 with three full magazines while wearing just about any type of clothing. It’s so comfortable and concealable, I wear it everywhere I go. That’s the ultimate fulfillment of the comfortable AND concealable criteria. Well done! – Ken in Tigard OR
This holster is the most comfortable I’ve ever worn. After 28 years of law enforcement I can’t believe I find this holster now. I will continue caring my weapon. -Gerald in Indian Land SC
Best off duty/on duty holster I have ever owned. Soft, adjustable, concealable. THANKS! – Jim in Louisville KY
Thanks for shipping the holster so quickly! I shortened it just a little and it fits just right. It rides on the hip and follows the body without anything showing. Thanks again for such a high quality item! – Wilbur in Perkinston MS
I have tried many concealed carry holsters over the years. The problems has been different holsters for different dress/seasons. The brave response holster is quite comfortable. I have worn it with shorts, jeans, slacks with and without a coat. It fits my main carry piece and the forward cant is great. This will be my main holster. – Jim in Florissant CO
Got my holster and have put all my other holsters in the bottom dresser draw. Without a doubt the most comfortable concealed holster I have ever worn. Love the fact that you can carry two mags and a flashlight, although when carrying an extended mag it can poke you in the side a little; but still can’t be beat. For those other big guys worried that it might not fit, it has ample room in the belt to fit us; I’m 6’3″ and 290lbs. You have a winner as far as I’m concerned!!!!!!!! – David in Orange VA
We tried them on and for the first time ever, I have a holster I can wear with my preferred clothing! We have purchased no less than 6 different styles if holsters trying to find one that works for me. I even have 2 very expensive leather purses specifically designed to carry and a lap bag also specifically designed for carry….none of which I have been able to feel secure using. I am a retired Marine and I am very happy with this purchase. I feel almost as safe as I did when in uniform. Oohrah! – Karen in Pensacola FL

dream journal
last paragraph of this one is like good ignore the rest if u read these (nobody read these btw dont waste ur TIME) but yea the last paragraph is like GOOD on this one
i was a cop in this dream at my high school and i was with about 3-4 other cops and i was trying to take them to this place i found in a dream like LAST YEAR that i forgot about (it was backstage in the auditorium, i found it by accident when I was trying to do a viola concert and i found this weird elevator that i fell into and it was all dark and it took me downstairs to this room full of like grecian godess looking women in this luxurious room with corinthian pillars with silk sashes all through them with red carpets, some of them were bathing in this beautiful like roman fountain and i was like oh god im so sorry im lost i didnt mean to come here) and there was this huge place underneath that i didn’t even see all of
so in this dream, me and these other cops are like looking around i guess for it? because it was like, the elevator doesn’t always show up but like it was really suspicious because people who fell into it were saying that men were getting into there and we were gonna like bust them, it wasnt made clear if the grecian goddesses were like regular people or if there was like actually this weird religious luxury place underneath the school?
theres a branching path in this dream where me and these cops are doing this activity with the students in this other part of the school which is also something from a dream a few months ago, it was like this wrestling ring. we were like popular cops or something that were like buddy-buddy with all the students and they were doing this art exhibit thing where it was like, in an hour build the most creative thing you can out of clay and we all had like profiles on the wall and shit and we got involved and started making stuff out of clay too, i opened ms paint irl and tried to draw it but basically itd take too long imagine a really big clay person laying down but its whole body is made out of smaller clay people
and then my police radio went off that HAROLD FROM HEY ARNOLD had been eating liquid tires, and my cop friends were like awww do you have to go? and i was like yea im like assigned to this kid bc he does this so much. and like long story short it turns into an akira situation and the kid like turns into this like blob monster of like liquid tires underneath the school and its like ah shit (everyone else was like normal looking and one of them was just fugo from jjba like copy pasted into the dream SDNAK)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
this actually is the reason im so fixated on dreams and now like documenting them on here because these old settings come back years later and it weirds me out and if i went back to the school today i would definitely get lost because the layout of my dreams has changed it so many times i dont know what it’d actually look like, not as an edge factor, but my dreams are so so so detailed and realistic from all the meds im on that i spend more time in dreams than i do awake and the point of this blog isnt edge factor anymore all the weird pictures are pictures that are familiar enough to my dreams that i post them here and hope that in the future it might jog my memory and i might go back there in another dream months from now or maybe even years
it sounds like narcissistic to like document that shit but idk i spend a lot of time in my dreams all the time and i know i cant remember everything from there so i want to write down everything i can

Moana (2016)
Amazing Hair: The Movie. Moana is a tale of Hawaiian/Polynesian folklore centering around Dwayne The Maui Johnson and brand new talent (Auli'i Cravalho) as the titular character.
As someone who grew up with Toy Story, it’s funny to think about what this movie represents from a technical standpoint. Toy Story purposefully did not have an explositions or exposed liquids due to the limitations of technology at the time. And now we have a movie that takes place 90% of the time in the middle of a huge ocean.
The movie has some genuinely good songs, thanks to the singing talents of Ms Cravalho and, surprisingly, Dwayne Johnson himself. Yes, The Rock can sing, and while it’s semi-obvious that he doesn’t have the range of some other singers, he works within his means and knocks it out of the park in the song You’re Welcome
The plot structure itself is very formulaic however, which is a shame as everything else holds up so wonderfully. The focal girl has a duty to uphold, but instead decides to “follow her destiny” and choose a life of adventure over the life she’s expected to live (you know, like Brave, Frozen, Mulan, Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Tarzan… you get the point). She then meets up with the wacky, street wise (or ocean wise), reluctant helper that she goads into helping on her journey. They become friends and bond, then theres the third act break up where the helper separates for no good reason, and the fourth act triumphant return at the ending climax for even less of a good reason.
With that out of the way, the movie rocks. Some people completely judge a movie only on plot, but I think it’s more about how it makes you feel. A movie is a vessel for emotion and intrigue.
Aside from the stunning visuals (which, lets face it, are now a standard practise for Disney Pixar films) and a catchy song (songs however are much easier to screw up, and this movie has a lot of good ones), the opening scene is bland. It sets up Moana to be the next village chief and her journey into leaving the island. The scene doesn’t really have anything for itself, but rather is used to carry the impact of when she actually disembarks. It’s necessary for backstory (no one ever leaves the island), exposition (Moana is the daughter of the village chief, etc) and the premise (find Maui and have him restore Heart of Te Fiti to stop a black virus from consuming all life), but doesnt do too much on its own.
The disembarkment scene however is wicked powerful. My friends thought I was alien for not crying or tearing up during it, but I will admit it did give me a good *pang* in the heart. Magical spirit stingray!
Two things should also be mentioned at this point. 1) A rooster named Hei Hei has snuck aboard Moana’s boat. It’s a very special rooster that my friends would not stop comparing to me. And B) The ocean is a sentient character of sorts, and provides some of the comedy for the movie.
Moana follows the constellation of the fish hook to where Maui is, since thats his dealio. At some point however, the lovable ocean gets triggered and decides to unleash its torrential stormy wrath upon Moana. I mean, it does get her to Maui’s island, but I’m sure there were less dickish ways of accomplishing that. Though I don’t think ocean cares since it killed Moana’s dad’s best friend. Oh, ocean, you little scamp.
Maui pops in and drops my favorite song of the movie, then steals the boat and leaves Moana to… I dunno, die? But she makes it back to Maui and explains that he needs to help her because, guess what, she’s the Disney Princess of this movie. And yes - She is. Her father is chief, which is like a king. She’s the chief’s daughter, which is like a king’s daughter, aka princess.
Maui responds by throwing the Heart of Te Fiti several miles away. This almost works out for Maui until p̶l̶o̶t̶ the ocean interferes by throwing it back, railroading him into a whole new world.
Maui however is at a disadvantage in his current state; He’s missing his hook. No hook, no powers. So when tribal coconuts show up on a HUGE ship, armed to the coconuts with poison blow darts, they’re kind of fucked, especially when they steal the Heart of Te Fiti, which is… currently inside Hei Hei.
Luckily, Moana does some badass shit while Maui handles the boat and the three of them get out fine. Next stop, Maui’s hook. But before that, Moana wants to drive the boat. Maui says no, and the ocean pricks him with a stray poison dart. Now he cant drive. But he can pee in the water just as he tells Moana to check for a “warm current”
I can get on board with that level of petty.
They arrive at Monster Island, which is where Maui’s hook is. Maui tells her to stay on the boat and do nothing like a good woman while macho man demi-dude saves the whole day. It has little success. I should also mention, this entire time they’ve been traveling from Casa de Maui to Mount Doom, Maui has just been roasting Moana for being a Disney princess. To summarize:
“Oh look at me. I’m the chosen one. I’m like 8 years old and never sailed a boat in my life, but here I am thinking the ocean chose ME, with my bleeding heart spiel and animal companion to try and save the world.”
To be fair, large bodies of water have never been good at chosing leaders - Ask Monty Python.
Regardless, Moana and Maui both climb what is basically a 90 degree incline to the top of the Dread Spire. It is at this point Maui informs Moana that the door to the monster realm can only be opened with a human sacrifice. Before Moana can protest, Maui ritually disembowels her with his own hands to appease the ancient blood gods.
Kidding. He chants a few words and the gateway opens. The two jump in, and Moana is almost eaten or killed numerous times with the first few moments of being in the realm of the monsters.
Maui’s hook is resting upon a mountain of gold. Seems innocent enough to Moana, but Maui insists she wears a bright and gaudy disguise to draw the attention of… something.
The mountain of gold rises up. Turns out thats just its back. Meet the British Crab. He sings a song about how he loves shiny things and then nearly eats Moana, until Maui reveals he retrieved his hook from the British Crab’s back.
But he’s a little rusty and it, uh, doesn’t work right. So Maui gets his shit stomped by BC. Moana saves the day by painting a rock with bioluminescent algae to make it look like the Heart of Te Fiti, which is shiny, and BC is all about the shiny.
They escape, and Maui learns to reuse his hook. Everythings looking swell until they try and take on the great evil of the story, Te Ka. He uses fireball and Maui presses E to deflect with his hook, only instead the hook gets mad cracked. It sparks like its somehow made of electricity, which I find weird. Maui is now done with life since his hook is nearly toast and he fucks off, leaving chosen girl all by herself, depressed as fuck in the middle of nowhere, ocean.
One drug trip and amazing song later, she regains her confidence and tried to take on Te Ka by herself. It surprisingly works, because now she knows how to drive a boat. Hei Hei comes in clutch and stops the Heart of Te Fiti from falling off the boat, and they make it through the border islands towards their main goal.
Te Ka is still rather pissed, being a giant lava demon and all, so he keeps trying to kill Moana. And for no real reason, here comes Maui to save the day - or at least to stall Te Ka until Moana can do the thing. His hook gets completely totalled but its okay, because he learned a valuable lesson off-screen that he’s still Maui, hook or no hook.
Moana realizes that the Heart actually goes into Te Ka. So she pulls a Moses, lets Te Ka come at her bro, and puts the Heart into her chest. This turns her from the red Lava Groot to the green Mother Nature Jemima, and everything is better forever. And hey, she gives Maui a brand new hook after he apologises for being the literal cause of ALL of this. Maui does his own thing and Moana becomes the leader of a brand new generation of voyagers.
I do have to applaud Disney for NOT having the two of them kiss at the end. Its always nice to see a platonic m/f duo in movies and the romance subplot sells so well to resist sometimes.
Overall, very stunning. I often cite “movie feel” as a reason why movies with plot/cliche/logistic problems can still make good movies, and this movie does a wonderful job of sweeping you off your feet. Though honestly, the writing on this movie is not bad. Rather, I would say its poorly structured. Think of it like a support beam a beanstalk might grow up. The characters were amazing; Full of life, personality and moderately complex emotions, the animation is so good the whole movie is like a humble brag about how awesome the DisneyTech is, a lot (i’d say 80%) of the script is bang on, and an astounding amount of the songs are really good - Songs are easy to screw up and I’d say that’s this movies second biggest strength (behind hair/water animation). It just struggles with the standard “winning formula” plot structure that was honestly ill-fitting in parts and did not impart a wholesome explanation or comprehensive rationale behind certain scenes.
I’m not a big Disney buff (unless you count the Star Wars acquisition), so I’m not qualified to say how this ranks compared to other movies (disregarding modern tech advancements and focusing more on storytelling) - However I will say that it’s better than Frozen.
