Ask Answers: August 8th
Well, doing big posts all together worked for a while but lately I’ve been putting it off because it takes a long time to get them done. I think I’m gonna try switching back to answering asks whenever I can fit it in and posting them one at a time instead of waiting until I’ve filled out one of these major collections.
But for now, here’s more ask answers! Thank you for the questions and for all the kind words along with them ^^.
Hello!! I'm here to ask if its possible to get  the game and its dlcs on steam and play it on android?
I’m afraid not. Steam doesn’t have Android builds on their own site and Steam is not cool with keys for other sites being given out for Steam purchases, so you don’t get the Itch version from buying on Steam.
Hello! Sorry to bother you but, I had a question, if we buy the Game on itchio do we get steam keys or would we need to purchase it twice?
You would have to buy it twice if you want it in both places, I’m sorry. To repeat myself a little, Steam doesn’t like the key trading thing. Itch may support giving keys for another site, but the reverse isn’t doable with Steam and Steam doesn’t even really want you to get a Steam key for buying somewhere else either. So we just don’t mess around with that.
hey, sorry if this is frequently asked, but is step 4 free dlc or paid for? some of your sources are contradicting each other.
It’s free! There’s a paid wedding DLC, but Step 4 itself is entirely unpaid.
Hello! I just had a quick question, for the Baxter and Derek DLC's will we be able to confess our feelings to them or let them confess to MC? or will it only be one way? (they confess to MC)
Both type of options will be available!
Hey there! I wanted to ask whether or not the Derek DLC is still on track to be released in August since on the steam discussion board it says it will be released mid 2021. I totally understand if it isn't, I'm just really looking forward to it! If you answer then ty! And keep up the amazing work :D
It’s not, aha. Unfortunately, 2021 wasn’t easier than 2020 as we hoped so things are still slower than planned. It’ll come out late 2021 or early 2022.
Hi! Firstly I just want to say that I LOVE Our Life. I have played a bit of similar games but this one instantly wins for the best one! Everything about it is amazing! I just wanted to ask if Derek would ever lose feelings for MC, like if they make the deal and then MC gets with Cove would he move on? and even if you don't, after "losing contact" would his feeling fade or would he still like MC?
If you don’t really keep in touch with him and clearly move on with your life, Derek will too and he’ll be over it. But if you are still close as best as you can be, he’ll still think the MC is special. Though, he’ll always support your relationship with someone else if that’s what’ll make you happy.
Hello! Sorry if you've answered this before but: 'How's Lee related to us? Though which momma? And does she share our player-chosen last names? Also, do you know if Noelani took Pam's last name or did it happen the other way round?
She’s related to Pamela and Pamela’s last name is the one they use, so the MC has the same last name as Lee.
Will we be able to choose which (they or he) we tend to call Qiu by more often, or will it randomly change depending on the moment?
Qiu knows which pronoun they’re comfortable with at a time and you’ll call them what they’re happy with. And it doesn’t change between lines, it takes multiple scenes or even full Steps for it to switch. So for extended periods Qiu will be totally a guy or fully agender.
Will Step 4 of OL2 have moments?
It’ll be an epilogue like it is in OL1, so it won’t have a bunch of different Moments.
Hello! Just a quick question, is Sunset bird from OL1 based on a real location? If so what's it called? I wanna visit it +_+
ps i love your games so much <3
It isn’t based on one specific town you can go to, but there are a lot of little coastal towns in Cali that have a similar vibe!
Heyaaa ( I hope you're all well ), umm… it might seem kinda stupid to ask but did Patreon members can have a key for the dlc's ( all the steps-released dlc ) even if they became a member this month or later ? (me? saying this cuz it's my case? maybe ;-;), and once again thanks for absolutely all the amazing works on all the games ! u-u
You wouldn’t get the DLCs for backing there. The Patreon is for extra bonus content/early access, rather than being a storefront to purchase the normal DLCs. Rarely we give them out as a side gift, but it hardly happens and if what you want is the DLCs it’s best to ignore the Patreon and  buy keys for those directly from Itch or Steam. I’m sorry for the confusion.
Hey y'all, love what youre doing w/Terry. Trans rep outside of player customization is so rare and important to see more of so thank you so much. I do have a question and its that does he have a canon sexuality? I know Miranda was said to be straight ace but I dont believe anything was stated for Terry probably because he wasnt revealed to be a guy which changes things. Im also curious if well get answers on how long hes liked Miranda since he may have liked her in step 3 before she liked him
Terry likes women and Randy likes men! And he did like Miranda back in Step 3.
Will the Wedding Dlc release at the same time as Step 4?
They’ll come out separately with Step 4 releasing first.
I really love Our Life so much! I've spent over 20hours playing it even though I only got it a week ago! I was wondering if I could make a fangame for Our Life with a different love interest but same plot. Next-door neighbors romance, multiple steps, etc? I'll probably make it on Google Slides though-
Sure! I hope you have fun with it and I’m glad you love the game.
How does Cove feel about poly relationships?
He’s got nothing against them for the people they work for, but he’s 100% monogamous and would only be comfortable with a partner who was willing to be monogamous with him.
Idk if this has been answered before but will Step 4 include the option to advance your feelings towards Cove?
Yep, you’ll be able to determine your feelings and what your relationship is.
In step 4 will there be a chosen to say we live with Cove even as just friends?
Yeah, you can choose to live with Cove and that can be done when you’re friends.
I just played the game with the MC and Cove being best friends and omg it’s still so damn cute like the wholesomeness of it all is too much for my heart I swear ^.^  Now with that all said I was wondering can we still marry Cove? if we only love him as a friend like let’s say we’ve made deal with him similar to the one we can make with Derek because let’s real no one could compete with what the MC and Cove have even if they aren’t in love.
It’s great to hear you enjoyed the friendship story! You can live with Cove, but you can’t marry him platonically. Cove has familial affection for the MC if they’re best-est friends. He wouldn’t think to marry someone he loves like family and even grew up with as though they truly were siblings.
Are you still going to be making a DLC for XOBD? :]
Yes! We’re slowing adding voiced lines and fixing errors.
It makes me laugh that Shiloh's last name is Fields because that's what I put as my last name! So in Our Life when he talked about "Ms. Fields" picking him up I was extremely confused, lol. That dude mimics personalities so much that he stole my surname!
Oh, wow, that’s a very funny coincidence, haha.
hi !! i cant seem to be able to get the scene where mc is able to propose to cove despite being at the 'love' stage and telling him i'd want to get married, are there any other details that im missing out on? the options just dont appear at the end...
Maybe you missed telling Cove you were in love with him even if you mentioned wanting to get married or you might’ve accidentally said earlier in the game that you don’t want to progress your relationship further with Cove. We haven’t removed them, so you can get the scene again. It’s just kind of easy to miss since there’s multiple requirements. You can read a little guide in the FAQ.
wait what di you need to do to be able to propose to cove? I've been trying but haven't had much luck
You can check out the FAQ linked above!
does cove only develop a crush on the mc if the mc is also at crush/in love with him?
Technically, yes. We treat the non-romantic relationship options as truly non-romantic since we don’t want to bait and switch people. But there’s nothing wrong with headcanoning that Cove does have feelings developing for the MC even before the MC has.
Is there a way to make/allow Lee and Baxter to date?
No, they just don’t have enough time together.
We also got a group of asks related to Tamarack in OL2, but I’m afraid the way they talked about people with larger bodies made me not want to post their words, even if the person didn’t say they’re trying to be hurtful. I will separate out the core question and answer it though, so people can know that info.
Does Tamarack lose weight in later Steps?
No, she doesn’t. As for the other questions included, to be honest, I don’t have to explain/defend having romance options of different sizes. I’m sorry if you’re dealing with unhappiness that’s connected to body image, if that’s where the negative emotions are coming from, but even so I can’t meet you on that level and pretend it’s a problem that needs an answer. A girl who simply isn’t thin being a main love interest is just not an unreasonable concept. Also, Tamarack isn’t a lesbian. Yes, she can date a female MC, but that doesn’t undo her actual sexuality, so I’m not sure where that one part at the end was coming from.
I wonder... can we "fight" with Qiu over leader status? 👀
Not really, haha. No matter how cool your MC is, they’re never gonna replace Qiu for the other kids around. So you can either partner up with him, follow him too, or not be a part of all that group politics stuff.
So when I play the game, sometimes I mentally call Cove “Covie/Covey” and that made me wonder, how does Cove feel about being nicknamed? Not like Romeo/Space Cadet/etc. but like pet names relating to his actual name
It’d depend on his age, personality, and your relationship with him! When he’s younger he’d probably be embarrassed, when he was grown he’d probably be more casual or happy about it.
will you be able to date baxter in step 3 while at crush with cove (but not dating him ofc) sorry if this has been asked already. i really love baxters step 4 design btw!!
Yeah, you can be crushing on Cove and date Baxter if you weren’t already dating Cove. You just can’t be truly in love with Cove and then switch to Baxter.
I just got my friend into our life, and they adore shiloh and derek sooo will there be more of them in the second game?
I’m afraid not. But you can see plenty more of Shiloh in XOXO Droplets/XOXO Blood Droplets, haha.
I see you haven't gotten any xoxo droplets asks recently but I'm still obsessed with these boys!! I was just wondering if Nate would curse under any circumstance?
Yeah, Nate does use certain swear words (damn, hell, bastard) on very rare occasions.
Hi there! I have a question about the wedding dlc. Will we be able to plan a honeymoon during the planning stages of it or would it be something that Cove and the mc would rather plan later on? Thank you! Absolutly love the game by the way, definitely one of my favorite games!
The focus will be on the wedding day itself. The topic of the honeymoon might come up a bit, but there won’t be any choosing of the exact location and such.
Hi! I have two questions and it's completely understandable if you only answer one/neither and I'm sorry if you've already answered either before! First, is there a set year in which OL:B&A takes place (ex: Step 1 being set in 2010 & Step 2 being set in 2016, etc.) or is it simply up to interpretation? Second, have you guys thought about doing a coming-of-age game where the MC has a tough home life or upbringing? (like one of their parents is an addict, a parent being transphobic whilst the player has the option to be trans, or having friends that are influencing them to do drugs, etc.) That's all! Thanks for making beautiful games. <3
There is a set timeline!
Step 1: 2006 Step 2: 2011 Step 3: 2016 Step 4: 2021
And we don’t currently plan on making a game like that. The Our Life series exists to be a safer environment for people to play around in and if we did do a brand new series that was harsher edged it’d be something more fantastical and/or plot-driven instead of a different type of modern day slice-of-life growing up story. I’m sorry.
i don’t know if you’ve already answered this, but do you have a guess on when phase 4 will come out? as well as ol2? i’m so excited for both of them, the inclusivity in this game is amazing, you guys should be really proud of it!
Step 4 will be coming out very soon! OL2 is gonna take until 2023 to be anywhere near completion. But we might episodically release the Steps one at a time as they get done instead of waiting for three to be finished before launch like we did with the first game.
Hello, I was curious if there was an official or unofficial discord server for the game?
We do have a discord! You can join by clicking this link HERE.
how long do you plan to keep ol's patreon running?
Hopefully for at least a few more years.
Are you considering ever making merch?
Yeah, but I don’t know when it’ll happen or what exactly we’ll make, aha. It’s something we want do, just nothing is set.
hi! i just found out about your game a couple of days ago on tiktok (so sorry if you’ve already answered this question) and i was wondering if y’all are ever planning to release it on iOS?
I have no idea. It’s hard for a small group to get Apple approval and I honestly can’t say if it’ll ever happen or not. Maybe someday, though!
Hi, I love the art style of Our life and I would like to know if the artist has a Twitter? Also, could it be possible to fund more CGs for the game from him/her? So many times, I wish there was one like when the cutscene of the sunshower.
That’s nice of you to offer. He doesn’t have a Twitter, at least not one that’s public enough to be shared with me. And I’m afraid not. The issue is that the CGs take huge amounts of time rather than there not being a budget for it. He’s gotta make CGs for Step 4, the DLCs, and new character sprites, too. There isn’t space in the schedule for even more. Sorry for that.
Hi, how are you?!
Are you planning on accepting new writers or is it always the same people who write your stories??
Thanks!!
Our Life: Beginnings & Always won’t be getting new writers, but we will be hiring a new team of writers for Our Life: Now & Forever eventually!
perhaps this counts as nsfw and I'm sure it has been answered before but what does Cove prefer, chests/boobs or butts? or perhaps both :3c thank you for this wonderful game (and the patreon bonus moment, it was worth all the waiting and more ♥)
He’s a “chests of all shapes and sizes” kind of guy, haha.
i was wondering- did any of the writers actually grow up by the beach? as someone who's lived in a beach town all their life it really did feel nostalgic to play through our life 1
I was born and raised in Cali! Though, not right by the beach. We still had to make trips out, but the setting is based on my own childhood memories of small beach towns we went through.
In Derek’s upcoming DLC, will we be able to reference the pact we made as teens? (love olba and xod/xobd so much btw you’re literally amazing)
Yep, you will be able to talk about that!
Oh, sorry about the Cole being secretly L ask, then!
If you wanted context: Death Note is about this one guy who finds a notebook that kills anyone who you write the name of in there. The guy eventually develops a God Complex and starts mass killing criminals and stuff. L is the one trying to find out who is killing all these people.
Me and my sister first joked about it because I couldn't remember how to translate a word about the way Cove was sitting, so I just did the pose, and it looked a lot like how L himself sits! Then we just snowballed from there, with more and more nonsense connections.
That’s okay! Thanks for explaining. I’m sorry I didn’t know what you meant.

i am once again thinking about post time skip haikyuu and how the series ended. i think so much of the series was how hinata overcome a lot of his insecurities in regards to volleyball; the passion and tackling burn out in regards to the sport as well as stating how volleyball can be “fun.” the ending of haikyuu, especially , beach volleyball, and post time skip is what got me into haikyuu. and yes. this meant i only had picked up the series very recently, at 2020-2021.
for reasons i can elaborate more later on: i didnt pick up haikyuu when it first published in 2012 because i had quit volleyball by then. i wanted nothing to do with the sport and i was eager to find myself outside of the sport and other passions i had always wanted to pick uo but couldn‘t because of volleyball. and yes this meant that i had avoided the sport for almost a decade.
ok maybe not completely avoided. i enjoy watching beach volleyball by the time rio olympics had rolled around the corner...and this is mostly since when i played indoor, we would play beach volleyball as thats a great way of learning what my coach, team, and i would consider “real volleyball.“ see where im going with this? the beach volleyball arc had me picking up haikyuu as a series…and eventually had me backtracking and reading kamomedai and a portion of the beginning of the series.
which leads me to a couple of things:
- i have a different perspective from one who had followed the series. (we all do, but considering that i have a past with volleyball where i avoided it for the duration of the manga’s serialization, and only really read the last few arcs of the series, i have a different approach towards the series and why i thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the ending).
- and yes i thoroughly enjoyed the ending of the series. it not only got me picking up the sport and actually…dare i say it…go back to indoors matches im…SHIT thats scary lol especially after a fucking decade of absolutely not wanting to…but i also got me loving the series ending from a literature/writing perspective? and its so fuckinf wild since i had always associated writing/reading and volleyball/sports SEPARATELY.
- so my mind is a bit jumbled. like i can understand people’s dislike of the kamomedai match as well as the mix reaction to post time skip. so lets address some of this:
POST TIME SKIP, SKIPPING OVER ARCS, AND SOME GAPS IN THE LITERATURE
ugh i seriously need to stop reading science research papers as i cant believe im using the term “gaps in the literature“ but please bear with me T^T
one of the main complaints of post time skip is the fact that furudate skipped over possible rematches (ie: inarizaki v karasuno, etc.), didnt go into detail of some character’s arcs (yamaguchi captain or ennoshita captain had me robbed ok i feel that 😭), or the overall journey and content of out fav first years and their eventual destination as third years going further into finals.
and as much as i would love to see that and wouldnt mind reading that in a light novel (so if furudate youre seeing this and willing to revisit haikyuu, i’d love to and will totally support), i just never thought theyd go over this part of their journeys? like even when i had initially heard of the manga at 2012, i didnt really think about whether they made it to finals. i didnt think about winning. i thought about their play style and dynamics. then i saw that their focus was more attack-oriented and lost interest.
because being attack-oriented isnt as fun as one would originally think, since rallies are what makes volleyball really fun.
in other words, i thought about how this series would make that come alive. how can this series emulate that sense of fun?
and ive thinking so much about how the last arcs really connects with that of the beginning, with some caveat. at the beginning obviously there was some conflict w hinata and his middle blocker position, his dynamic w a genius setter, his height - as it all are barriers to him fully enjoying volleyball. and initially it had been wanting to be an ace and winning games as his solution. but then…hinata grew as a character. and not only hinata, but those around him were very much affected by hinata’s journey with volleyball. and so, by the time we got to the later half of the series (karasuno v nekoma, kamomedai v karasuno), we get to see furudate’s message about passion, burn out, and having fun playing volleyball. having that passion for volleyball and choosing to play it, to make a living out of it, is eventually what makes a monster. i would even argue that those who see volleyball and inspire others to show that volleyball is fun, is also a monster…
this is a really long winded rant/observation thats not quite fully formed into coherency or completion, but i just needed to get this OUT and im tired of losing all my drafts and loose paper of these thought process so instead in publishing this impulsively lol.
will probs finish this later on or add more to it later…

a creation you’re really proud of: yall never hear the end of this one too and i will not stop promoting it until i write something better than this: just a star - jaemin . this 14.8k is the longest fic ive ever written in the span of 5 days and its a true testament of my storytelling and narration. its a big angsty fic, but i reread this one recently and i was mindblown by my own choice of words haha
a new style you tried this year and a gifset/fic that uses it : it pains me to write pwp.... no lie, i love reading pwp but writing it forces me to forfeit any narration of emotions but... also.. my favs are hotties and they deserved a hot series: housemating series

a ‘simple’ creation that you really love: i have 2 timestamps that have my heart hehe this one was my first ever timestamp 2:37 AM - doyoung ft. bestie johnjae and 6:04 AM - taeyong
a creation that was inspired by another one: nct by the hour was inspired by nct as types of boys by @okmica ! a super sweet and quick read, everything about it makes my heart so warm

Mind If I Vent?
Well... It def has been awhile..
How do I start these again? Just by going right into in? Alrighty then lets just right into it...
The year of 2020 has been a crazy year for everyone, From losing friends, family to jobs and homes.. I was fortunate enough to have found a job after being let go at my previous job back in Dec of 19′ so I’ve been keeping myself busy, but of course, can’t work hard n not play hard, Had some really close friends in my life at that time and I believe it was about around Feb or even Mar where I found out some things about a certain friend within the circle of people I was around, Did not sit well w/ me so therefore distancing myself from them, One friend who is closely connected to 5 others was also effected and has distanced as well so the circle got even smaller.. Which is fine, Having a small circle has always been something I am okay with; I actually much prefer it. As the months goes by, I then met the most important in my life today, She is someone who I cherish dearly and adore.. She’s mentally has helped been there for me and somehow manage the save the kid inside me, the joy self I use to once be when I was a kid.. Before I would be very uptight and always serious taking everything to heart and never wanted to be around fun and just as some might say a cranky son of a gun.. Well not today.. I can be the silly me when I was a kid and boy does it feel great to just be yourself and loved for just you and who you are.. The people that has come and left my life in the past were not able to come close to what you have given me.. and I cant thank you enough for just being you.. I stare deeply into your eyes and love you more and more as I stare into those brown eyes of yours.. Let me just pause there cause I could go on and on about what happens when I look into those eyes.
Where were we? Oh yes, My small circle at the time, Soon after spending more time w/ you, I reached out to my small circle I had to see them and hangout w/ them and nothing gets planned.. So then you hit me w/ a plan then we do it! Yes! Then weeks goes by and the small circle didn’t even feel like it was even a circle anymore for me but of course social media now a days you can see what people post/are up to lately and the circle was still a circle.. I just happen to not be part of that circle anymore.. It hurts.. Feeling like you are not part of a circle anymore does some damage on you.. and of course as work goes, The job I was promoted to I was super stoked on so the thought of not being part of the small circle did not effect me as much since I have kept my mind busy.. With the new position comes new problems and stress, on top of all that comes the stress and the verbal/mental abuse.. which yes I do have thick skin but my gawd, It does take a chunk out of you.. On a side note; Few months goes by and we finally move into a nice little apartment together which has been amazing, Bringing in the new year of 2021 w/ you and ready to take on those challenges w/ you..
Ps. Going on the 3rd month of the year and little problems has risen.. Why do I feel as I have created problems for you.. I do not mean to create problems for you, I just want you to be comfortable and happy, I was always told or taught as a kid, The more laughter you bring into a group of people, the loosen they get and they too will laugh and have a great time, So I tried that.. But it seems to backfire once in awhile.. It feels as sometimes I cant even talk or say things and just things comes out.. maybe its true.. maybe I cant say things and they mean well, maybe I have to explain myself.. What do you guys think?.. Wait.. LOL nobody reads my blogs so this is literally me and my thoughts.. If you have made it this far .. Thank you for being a good listener/reader and read my problems and this little update on my life.. I hope you have a great rest of your day, Member to tell those you love that you love them because today is a gift, tmrw is not a promise..

2020 being 2020
I always be the person to write a year-end post, but i have no idea what to write now..
Well, 2020. We didnt have a clue, we walk to it without even knowing that it is gonna be this hard for all of us.
We start 2020 hoping for something good to come true.. but yes, it is not easy afterall. A tragedy.
Many things happened in 2020, for me it was like ‘i’m saying goodbye to 2020 with a different person from when i welcomed it’. For whoever reading this right now, i really am sorry for everything i did to you. I still cant pretend that it was nothing.. because for me it wasn’t nothing at all but in the end, i’m the one who is the problem. the problem between me and myself and it, somehow drag you from nowhere that later on i assumed we had something special. I hope 2021 is the year you deserve! good luck, man. maybe this is gonna be the last of my words painting you, we both have to move it on right?
2020 is a nightmare for almost everyone in the world, i’m so sorry for everything we’ve loss in 2020. for the lost of our beloved ones, for the lost of our favorite job, for the lost of our soul because of the p a n d e m i c that haunted us. its terrible that i didnt mention this big event in the first place yet we automatically knows it was it. I really am sorry for the entire world, the world that wasnt good at all. I pray for them and for us to have a better 2021.
2020 is the year we lost so many single man. Because yes, this is the year of everyone just out of nowhere gettin married. I pray for everyone whose just starting a family gonna have a beautiful life full of love in marriage. I can’t believe that 2020 was the year that i’m start being someone’s wife. Yes, me too. Even me can not believe that this big event that change the entire of my life was happening in 2020. The year that also change a human in the entire world. And for any safety reasons -duh- he’s the one i find is the only one. And i grateful for him. Well, im writing this right now and watching him sleep beside me.
This year was tragedy yet taught us many things. 2020 just being 2020. it got us lost almost in everything we have, even hope, but it gaves birth to so many incredible journey that we never talk about it before, even just to think about it. Never. Its really not only taught us about washing our hands every five minutes.
Even though 2021 gonna be the year of everyone continuing wearing mask, gloves, doing some physical distancing, bringin handsinitizer everywhere we go, work from home, a lecturer via online meeting and everything we gonna do to save a life, we also have this little (yet wishin it to become true) hope that 2021 gonna be better. Gonna be the year of someone continue pursuing their dreams that was been delayed almost a year in 2020. I hope the world gets better for the entire human race.
I feel terrible to write this post that contains both a good and a bad events. What im really gonna say is: ends 2020 with blessing so that it cant haunt us in the future, start 2021 with a lot of positivity and hope.
I wish everything for the best in their nice ways.

My Spirit Guide White ~
This is White, my spirit guide, she is a large white wolf whom is super special to me.
I am going to share my story with you, about how I discovered she was my guide, and how we became so close.
--
When I was very young I had an invisable friend, I dont exactly remember their name or anything but I remember it was an animal.
When I was 16 my now ex-best friend and I dabbled with meditation with the soul purpose of finding our spirit guides. He discovered his was a black crow, and White appeared to me. She was beautiful, huge - when I saw her she was bigger than a real wolf but not giant. Her fur was beautiful and her eyes where kind and loving. She told me she was here for me and that she would never leave me. I also learned at that time about my psychic and clairvoyant abilities.
A few years passed and I got lost in some things happening at home ( I will share that soon ) and forgot, I was also extremely busy at school and trying to pass my classes. More things happened that where bad, and I just completely forgot about White.
I got through High-School - finding the furry fandom and thinking that I was a therian for many years and that my soul was a wolf. I felt this intensely. I believed it.
That was 2008?
Fastforward to 2019, an entire decade and passed and a lot of difficult and hard things happened. But it was around then I started realizing that I wasnt a wolf in spirit ( Therian ) at all, it was little bites on the edge of my subconscious.
2020 happened and I sacrificed everything and moved to the UK, from the USA, and got distracted again, with life and trying to settle in.
Fastforward to 2021, I met my now adopted sister and mentor. We started talking and she showed me a little about witchcraft and explained some of her practices to me. I was curious but scared, that part of me had been hidden for so long.
2022 - My adopted sister / mentor and I got closer and hung out more, she started slowly teaching me about things I could do that where safe. I played with the idea of bringing it back into my life but I was scared. I had never been allowed to practice or genuinely use my skills. My mentor / adopted sister gave me that freedom, and showed me a relationship like the one I have with my husband without judgement. It was freeing.
I decided that I was infact going to go down the witchcraft road, and when I brought it up to my husband he supported me and loved me.
When I made the decision to walk the witchy path, I started seeing signs from White, letting me know she was still here, that she had been giving me time to heal from my trauma.
I then began learning how to read tarot, and understanding it. ( I'm still learning it ) but I aquired the Tarot Familiars Deck and began only using that to talk to her. It was hard learning tarot that way, in the context of a conversation, but I started to get the hang of it ( will be posting those at a later date )
I loved talking to White, and knowing she was there to protect me and guide me was a wonderful feeling.
-
Fastforward to now:
I have discovered the pendulum and absolutely love talking to White, its opened a wavelength for both of us and she is cheeky!
I also have begun collecting white wolf statues to make a place for her as well, and just been enjoying learning about witchy life! We're inseperable now ❤️
She is definately a huge part of my life and always has been. I wouldnt change either of our paths because it led us here. I feel loved and protected by her, and I love talking about her with my mentor. ❤️
I cant wait to see what the future holds for us! ❤️
Thats a short explination, theres a lot more to that story, but not that I'm ready to share here.
Maybe another day! ❤️

Who Gives More To Charity Republicans Or Democrats
New Post has been published on https://www.patriotsnet.com/who-gives-more-to-charity-republicans-or-democrats/
Who Gives More To Charity Republicans Or Democrats
Tumblr media
Republicans Give Less In Democratic
Who LIES More- Republicans or Democrats?
Whether Republicans lived in a red county or a blue county affected their giving, the study found. Republican donors tended to give less in Democratic-leaning counties.
One theory was that taxes tended to be higher in counties where a majority of residents were Democrats. Republicans had less to give, and they were not persuaded to give more to reap a bigger tax deduction.
A second hypothesis is that donors do not necessarily have confidence in giving when their beliefs are not shared or the institutions they are giving to might support causes that are not theirs.
If Im a Republican and only in the minority, my preferences are not held in common or high regard, Dr. Christensen said. When theyre in the majority, they feel they can share their wealth this way.
Republicans Vs Democrats: Where Do The Two Main Us Political Parties Stand On Key Issues
After an impeachment, a positive coronavirus test and an unforgettable first presidential debate rounded out the final months of Donald Trumps first term, it seems fair to say the past few years have been a roller-coaster ride for US politics.
On November 3, Americans will decide which candidate will win the 2020 presidential election, sparking either the beginning, or end, for each nominee.
But how does it all work?
Well, the US political system is dominated by two main parties the Democrats and the Republicans and the next president will belong to one of those two.
Just how different are their policies?
Heres what you need to know, starting with the candidates.
Republicans Give More To Charity Than Democrats But Theres A Bigger Story Here
November 3, 2018; New York Times
The political differences between Republicans and Democrats dont play out solely at the ballot box; they also predict how likely people are to donate to charity. This finding from a newly published research project reflects a key difference, one tied to political affiliation, about how our nation should take on critical social issues like homelessness, poverty, and health care. The data also suggest that in times of political strife, both parties supporters pull back, making problem-solving harder.
Using voting and IRS data for the residents of 3,000 counties across the nation, the four-professor research team found, according to the New York Times, that counties which are overwhelmingly Republican report higher charitable contributions than Democratic-dominated counties, although giving in blue counties is often bolstered by a combination of charitable donations and higher taxes. But as red or blue counties become more politically competitive, charitable giving tends to fall. The full study was recently published in the Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly.
Importantly, the study did not find that in Republican counties, private funds replaced public funds so that social services were equally supported.

Elected Officials Seen As Out Of Touch In Us France And Uk
Nearly two-thirds of Germans say the statement elected officials care what ordinary people think describes their country well. However, fewer than half of those surveyed in France, the U.S. and the UK express this opinion.
The share of Germans who say elected officials care what ordinary people think has risen precipitously since 2018, when only 44% held this view. In France, too, the share saying elected officials care has risen 9 points . Indeed, all partisan groups in France studied registered an increase in the percentage who say this.;
In the UK and U.S., however, the share who say elected officials care about ordinary people has remained largely unchanged since 2018, although it has risen in the UK among those who identify with Conservative Party and decreased among those who identify with the Labour Party. Today, Conservatives are more likely to say elected officials care than are Labour Party supporters. Those who have a favorable view of the Brexit Party are also more likely than those who have an unfavorable view of the party to say elected officials care what ordinary people think .;
Partisan identity colors opinion about whether elected officials are seen as caring in each of the countries surveyed except for Germany. For example, in France, about two-thirds of those who identify with President Emmanuel Macrons party En Marche say elected officials care, compared with fewer than half of supporters of the Socialist Party and the Republicans .
Republicans Winning Money Race As They Seek To Take Over House In 2022
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The National Republican Congressional Committee announced Wednesday that it had raised $45.4 million in the second quarter of 2021, the most it has ever raised in three months of a non-election year, as Republicans seek to take over the House in 2022.
House GOP leader Kevin McCarthy This story has been updated with additional developments Wednesday.

Can A Religious White Republican Party Survive
The partisan gap between black and white voters is the most durable and powerful split in modern American politics. Soon after President Lyndon Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act in 1964, he remarked, I think we just delivered the South to the Republican Party for a long time to come. He wasnt wrong. Afterward, the Republicans courted racist white voters by opposing school and housing integration.
Among white people, religion is the most stable and important determinant of party choice. But the way religion shapes party attachment has changed. Today, the best way to sort the population of white voters is not by which religion they belong to, but by how religious they are.
Among white Americans:
else
Religious
The number of religious white Americans is plummeting. In the long term, that spells disaster for Republicans. I dont think the Republican Party right now has a sustainable business model, said Alan Abramowitz, a political scientist at Emory University.
The party knows this. Or at least it should. After Republicans lost the 2012 election, the party leadership commissioned a report on how to move forward. One answer was clear: appeal to nonwhite and less conservative voters. But in the years since, the Republicans led by Mr. Trump have doubled down on white identity politics and seem to believe that their path to a majority is through gerrymandering, voter suppression or attempts to skew the census.

Democrats Tend To Have A Lot More Anger And Negativity In Their Rhetoric According To Them If You Support President Trump Well Then You Are A Racist And A Nazi
They generally seem to be out to get someone making things more personal.; Why are they so afraid to use the facts to reinforce what they want to do? Its agenda first then find or make up facts to support the rhetoric.
If they cant beat you at the polling booth, they try and beat you in court and thats just a great example of something thats not a pleasant experience. And not quite working in the long run. They keep getting overturned.

Democrats Or Republicans: Who Has The Higher Income
In the end, many people assume Republicans are richer based on these figures. Although, this is only a look at the richest families and politicians in America though. In everyday American households, it seems that Democrats have a higher mean salary. Its true that many of the wealthiest families in the country are contributing to Republican campaigns. On the contrary, families registered as Democrats have higher annual salaries than Republicans, statistically speaking.
These findings still have some loopholes in them, of course. For instance, the data was collected over the last 40 years or so. Moreover, it is only based on the most recently collected information. As you know, demographics are constantly changing. These figures may have been affected as well. There is also a margin of error with every type of data collection like this. So, what do you think? Who is richer? Democrats or Republicans?
The Political Force Of Michael Bloombergs Tactical Charity
Conservatives & Christians are Far More Charitable than Bleeding-Heart Liberals & Athiests
Reddit
In his quest for the Democratic presidential nomination, former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has already spent nearly a quarter of a billion dollars, more than that of the major Democratic candidates combined. But, ironically, focusing on his immense campaign budget underrates the impact of Bloombergs money on his chances. Just as important is the political force of his charitable giving.
Traditionally, presidential nominations have been than by grassroots mobilization. Bloomberg may be able to gin up some public support through campaign ads and Tammany Hall-style politics, but in the inside game, it would seem he is at a disadvantage. He has never run for national office, has supported Republican candidates, and was himself a Republican.
But politics in America is increasingly organized around institutions reliant on big-donor philanthropy. Candidates, local and state parties, advocacy organizations, think tanks, and many foundations are in a constant scramble for money. Few leaders of these organizations will want to offend a man whose personal wealth makes their entire operating budgets look like a negligible rounding error.

If A Party Gets What It Wants In The Pursuit Of Delivering Something Most People Want Most Of The Time So Be It
Theres nothing morally wrong with being the party of corporate interests. Theres nothing wrong, for that matter, with viewing politics as the preserve of the few, not the many. Whats wrong is lying about it. Whats wrong is treating the opposition as if it does not have a legitimate claim. Whats wrong is setting off a conflagration of white-power fury that consumes nearly everything, even the republic itself, in order to slake a thirst for power. The day Joe Biden decided to run for president was the day this white-power fury burned through Charlottesville, screaming, Jews will not replace us. That day, according to published reports, is the day Biden chose to fight to restore the soul of America.
Maybe hes full of it. Maybe Biden and the Democrats dont really believe what they say when they talk about everyone being in this together. Thats certainly what the Republicans and their media allies believe. A critic said Thursday that we can expect to see from Biden lofty rhetoric about unity, while acting below the radar to smash norms to implement the Left-wing agenda. The same day, a Times reporter asked the White House press secretary why the administration has not offered a bipartisan fig leaf to the Republicans, given the president putting so much emphasis on unity. Maybe the Democrats dont mean what they say. Maybe its just politics-as-usual.
Not All Parties That Employ Populist Rhetoric Are Opposed To Liberal Democratic Principles
Greeces Coalition of the Radical Left, more commonly referred to as Syriza, is one of the only major parties of the radical left in the west to favour populist over pluralistic rhetoric.
Though an overwhelming majority of western parties described by ParlGov as liberal and conservative are likely to be positive towards ethnic minorities, the same cannot be said for their attitudes towards immigration.

Are Republicans More Ethical Than Democrats
It is easy to be cynical about the corrosive effects of power. ;No party has a monopoly on corruption and misuse of public office.; Yet cynicism is not the same as wisdom.; Such every day cynicism helps Democrats escape from the uncomfortable moral challenges posed to big government advocates by the slew of scandals erupting in Washington.;
What we are seeing involves systemic flouting of the law by Democrats, from elected and appointed officials to unionized bureaucrats, who have targeted ordinary citizens because they are political opponents, riding rough shod over our rights to free speech, assembly, freedom of the press and equal application of the law.;
There has not been abuse of power on this scale in this baby boomers lifetime.; This is beyond the ordinary, and ordinary cynicism will not suffice.; The debate over whether our President is guilty of active abuse, leadership by example, or incompetence is important.; But it is not the most important thing going on.; The problem is far larger than the Oval office, and will extend past this presidency unless there is significant government reform.
New York Times journalist Thomas Friedman daydreams of what he and fellow liberals could accomplish ruling America with all the powers of the Chinese Communist Party.; Republican politicians, no matter how power hungry and narcissistic, know that is a nightmare.; Their followers know that is a nightmare.; Democrats do not.;
Democratic Party Enters 2021 In Power And Flush With Cash For A Change
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Democratic National Committee has a roughly $75 million war chest, raising the partys hopes of keeping power in 2022 and accelerating a Democratic shift in the Sun Belt states.
After years of flirting with financial disaster, the Democratic Party entered 2021 not only in control of the White House, the House and the Senate but with more money in the bank than ever before at the start of a political cycle.
The Democratic National Committee will report to the Federal Election Commission on Sunday that it ended 2020 with $38.8 million in the bank and $3 million in debts, according to an advance look at its financial filings. In addition, there is roughly $40 million earmarked for the party, left over from its joint operations with the Biden campaign, according to people familiar with the matter. This gives the Democrats a roughly $75 million war chest at the start of President Bidens tenure.
This is a number that is unimaginable, said Howard Dean, a former party chairman.
Party data, resources and infrastructure undergird candidates up and down the ballot, and Democratic officials are already dreaming of early investments in voter registration that may accelerate the political realignment Democrat are hoping to bring about in key Sun Belt states.
We had to juggle who we were going to pay, Tom Perez, who until earlier this month was the chairman of the D.N.C., said of the early part of his tenure, which began in 2017.

Americans Are Especially Likely To Say Politicians Are Corrupt
This report examines peoples trust in government and satisfaction with democracy, as well as their attitudes toward elected officials and political reform.
For this analysis, we use data from nationally representative telephone surveys of 4,069 adults from Nov. 10 to Dec. 23, 2020, in the U.S., France, Germany and the UK. In addition to the survey, Pew Research Center conducted focus groups from Aug. 19 to Nov. 20, 2019, in cities across the U.S. and UK . We draw upon these discussions in this report.
Here are the questions used for the report, along with responses, and the survey methodology.
As they continue to struggle with a public health crisis and ongoing economic challenges, many people in the United States and Western Europe are also frustrated with politics.
A four-nation Pew Research Center survey conducted in November and December of 2020 finds that roughly two-thirds of adults in France and the U.S., as well as about half in the United Kingdom, believe their political system needs major changes or needs to be completely reformed. Calls for significant reform are less common in Germany, where about four-in-ten express this view.
Trust in government has also increased slightly in the UK, although while it has risen among supporters of Prime Minister Boris Johnsons Conservative Party, is has actually declined among those who identify with the opposition Labour Party.

Democrat Or Republican: Whos More Charitable
J. Hugh Liedtke Professor of Marketing
Lay belief suggests that Democrats are more charitable than Republicans because of a more community-minded orientation. However, surveys of giving show that Republicans give more to charity than Democrats, though the charitable giving also includes religious organizations. A careful reading of the evidence precludes strong conclusions.
A recent study by WalletHub;compiled charitable giving data from different states. When combined with state-level political identity data from the American National Election Studies;a simple analysis was conducted. A simple regression suggests a positive association between charitable giving and being a Republican. You can find your state in the graph above.
This simple analysis, however, does not tell the whole story. Understanding charitable giving by Republicans and Democrats is more complex than portrayed in this graphic. My colleagues Karen Page Winterich at Penn State and Yinlong Zhang at UT-San Antonio conducted a series of controlled experiments to investigate this issue. The study published in the International Journal of Research in Marketing;can be downloaded here:
Specifically, the study showed:
Overall, Democrats and Republicans are equally likely to be charitable.
In another study, we created two descriptions of âChildrenâs Advocatesâ. They started with the same introduction, but had two different descriptions, one republican-oriented and another democrat-oriented:

good things come eventually
i didn't know it at the time, but while i was writing my last post, the universe was putting together something incredible for me. a lot of things have happened since that last post. a lot of terribly stressful things and an astounding amount of amazing things and i'd like to share them all with you.
lets start with the extra fun and stressful things shall we? first and foremost, i got put on probation for a DUI i got in november of 2020. probation on its own is shitty, yes but i definitely got the ~lighter~ version of what is actually probation. its technically called DUI diversion, which basically means if i complete everything on this lovely checklist, the charge gets taken off my permanent record. so that's cool. also super cool? fucking color code. my color is scarlet. so until may of 2022, at any random time, monday-friday, my color can get called to come and take a drug and alcohol piss test lmao. oh and all of this is INCREDIBLY expensive, which is super cool for an adult that has actual bills and shit to pay. nevertheless, i've absolutely learned my lesson about committing crimes. its all fun and games at the time but the repercussions are god awful, especially for a 25yr old baddie am i right??
don't drink and drive kids.
now onto the absolutely wonderful things. i am in love as fuck. like mad, stupid, crazy in LOVE. something that i never imagined that i'd get to experience, i literally talked about it in my previous post. did i really manifest my own love story?? i sure tf did bc i'm really out here living it with the man of my fkn dreams and i couldn't be happier. he is the most amazing person i've ever gotten the chance to meet and i feel so lucky to know him. little secret, he's the one that told me about these blog posts heheh. our story is rather different from most, but its 2021 and dating just isn't what it used to be. he's 1 year and 4 days younger than me, we went to rival high schools and he graduated the year after i did. we knew a lot of the same people around that time so i'd like to think that maybe we crossed paths in another lifetime that led us to be where we are now. i absolutely believe in divine intervention and things happen for a reason and i truly believe that people are supposed to meet at certain times in their lives and i think him and i are perfect example of that. i live in huntsville and he lives in atlanta so its about a 4 hour distance between us so i didn't think anything would ever come from him and i talking or being friends. i just knew that he was a total babe and i was going to do whatever scheming i could to get my hands on his fine ass. so after we texted back and forth for a few weeks, i pretty much told him that i was coming to atlanta for a weekend, i just wanted to see what would happen, or if the vibes were there or anything. i had nothing to lose, i was going to court for my DUI the following week so i said fuck it and drove my happy ass to a whole different city, to stay in a strangers house, with the stranger himself. as it turned out, going to atlanta would be the best decision i've ever made. after the initial anxiety wore off and the awkward vibes dissipated, i was alarmingly comfortable around him. his whole presence made me feel safe, it was the weirdest thing i've ever felt, especially in what would normally be a painfully uncomfortable situation for me. obviously i liked him and that's why i went to atlanta in the first place, but it wasn't until after that weekend that i knew i was growing actual real feelings for this guy. he was all i could think about, i told all of my coworkers about him, he was literally the only topic of conversation for at least a week lol. i couldn't wait to see him again. it took everything i had not to get my hopes up about him. nothing with any other guy ever worked out, i was stuck in a revolving door of talking stages and i didn't think that this time would be any different. i definitely had hope though, i was hoping that maybe this time, things will finally work in my favor bc he was everything i ever dreamed of and then some, i didn't even know him then but something told me that he would be worth it and boyyyy i was right.
it was a couple weeks later and we had continued texting back and forth, getting to know each other and what not. he mentioned that his dad and brother were going to be in town for the braves game and obviously a lightbulb went off in my head like uhhh please for the love of god invite me to this freaking baseball game. well, he did and we all had an absolute TIME. i'll never forget that day.
June 5th, 2021. it was after the game, we had been rained on, we were both sweaty and intoxicated and there were hundreds of people wandering around us. we found a bench and sat down for a minute and he'll say that i hit him with the "what are we?' question but i remember every detail from that day except that specific one so we cant confirm or deny those allegations. anyways, we were sitting there and this man really asked me to be his girlfriend.. when i tell you that not only did i die a little bit, but everything around me, the people, the noise, the music, it all stopped in that moment. of course it was the easiest yes ever. to this day, even as i'm sitting here reminiscing, he still gives me butterflies the same way he did the day i met him, the day he asked me the question of all questions, and every day that i get to love him.
all of that being said, the universe knew i needed someone and it sent me more than i could ever ask for. i got a boyfriend, a best friend, the love of my life and a soulmate all wrapped into one and i just cant believe that this incredible man chose me to fall in love with. i cant imagine a life without him in it and i hope i never have to. its very cliché but as the saying goes "when you know, you know" its 100% true. i knew the day that i met him that he was going to be very important to me, and i was right. it wasn't long before i realized that i was falling in love with him. it wasn't long after that before i realized like holy shit i'm real life, wholeheartedly in love with this man.
as i lay here tonight, typing this out, with my heart just fluttering at the fact that i'm so happily in love with the man of my wildest dreams, all i can say is that i'm thankful. thankful to be alive, thankful for the universe, thankful for the trouble i'm in because without it, i would've never gone to atlanta in the first place.
i had nothing to lose, remember?
now its everything.

in case i cant load this file at the library. (trying to print a document so i can quickly show  Alleged well meaning ignorant trump voters why, he isnt just evil, he’s anti republican/christian and they shouldnt vote for him). Good god this was only the last 2 months. what an asshole
Trump is anti republican values
Letting a private media network run the country
August 21, 2020 – Department of Homeland Security officials were told by Trump to watch Lou Dobbs “every night.” The Fox Business host and ardent supporter of the president was the department’s “shadow chief of staff,” said former DHS chief of staff Miles Taylor. “The president would call us and… he would say, ‘Why the hell didn’t you watch Lou Dobbs last night? You need to listen to Lou. What Lou says is what I want to do.’”
https://www.huffpost.com/entry/miles-taylor-trump-lou-dobbs-fox-marching-orders-homeland-security_n_5f4066aec5b697824f98b023?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cubWNzd2VlbmV5cy5uZXQv&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAAGFv3J9DnCA3yhN9irljBGeIbETe34K6hRT9yzxk6fd6EH5rwaIC9XZg45NhSNMmcvi9VOlg6_bhNLjM5dJN0RyAgwY-OU7N6WLocW6uEbm0aIboW8YpMa9gJWFC2ROIFYRfX1D3NcVHgWKxWLeie8yY03vhUz2vWZR5jrJSGEy
Every word of this is blatant government corruption. Trying to rig an election, putting someone in charge who gave you money  to make sure it happens? WHy does he hate america democracy so much?
August 17, 2020 – Postmaster General Louis DeJoy was accused of deliberately slowing mail delivery to give the president a boost in the November election. Reps. Hakeem Jeffries and Ted Lieu of the House Judiciary Committee called for the FBI to open a criminal probe into DeJoy, who was appointed by Trump in May. The businessman earned millions of dollars from a company that does business with the Postal Service. He donated $1.2 million to Trump’s election campaign.

More corruption! Using the Presidential seat to promote a donar’s brand? Is America just a money making scheme to him and his rich elite?
August 16, 2020 – Trump said that the Food and Drug Administration “should be approving” an extract from the oleander plant as a coronavirus cure, even though there is no evidence that it is beneficial. Oleandrin had been touted by MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, a major Trump donor who has invested in the company that makes the extract. Lindell is not a doctor.
https://www.axios.com/trump-covid-oleandrin-9896f570-6cd8-4919-af3a-65ebad113d41.html
Hates america and democracy. If America is so great why cant he respect the democratic process
August 19, 2020 – Trump would “see what happens” in the November election before accepting its result, said White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany. “The president has always said he’ll see what happens, and make a determination in the aftermath.” Two days earlier, Trump had said, “The only way we’re going to lose this election is if the election is rigged.”
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-election-results-white-house/
 More lies
August 14, 2020 – The Senate Intelligence Committee asked federal prosecutors to investigate former Trump strategist Stephen Bannon for possibly lying during its inquiry into Russian interference in the 2016 election. Senators also said that Donald Trump Jr., Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and former White House Communications Director Hope Hicks offered conflicting testimony.
https://www.latimes.com/politics/story/2020-08-14/senate-committee-sought-investigation-of-bannon-raised-concerns-about-trump-family-testimony
 Stole from his own voters!
August 20, 2020 – Stephen Bannon, Trump’s former chief strategist, was charged with cheating hundreds of thousands of donors who were told that their money would go toward building a wall along the Mexican border. A federal indictment said that Bannon, arrested with two other men, used almost $1 million for personal expenses; in all, the men raised more than $25 million. Bannon, who portrayed himself as a man of the people, was arrested on a $35 million yacht owned by fugitive Chinese billionaire Guo Wengui.
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/08/20/nyregion/steve-bannon-arrested-indicted.html
Still no tax returns? If he was successful and legal he wouldnt be hiding!
August 20, 2020 – A federal judge ruled that Trump must give his tax returns to the Manhattan district attorney, who is investigating Trump’s financial records. Judge Victor Marrero rejected the president’s most recent attempt to block the release of his returns. “This is a continuation of the witch hunt, the greatest witch hunt in history,” Trump told reporters. “There’s never been anything like it.”
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/08/20/nyregion/donald-trump-taxes-cyrus-vance.html
 More voter manipulation
August 6, 2020 – White House health officials said that the U.S. might have a coronavirus vaccine in early 2021. Trump, however, claimed that one could be available “sooner than the end of the year, could be much sooner.” Asked if a vaccine could arrive before the November 3 election, he said, “I think in some cases, yes possible before, but right around that time.” No reputable scientists, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, believe a vaccine is possible before 2021.
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-trump-vaccine/trump-says-coronavirus-vaccine-possible-before-nov-3-idUSKCN25221Q
Vote intimidation is against 1st ammendment and your right to vote
August 20, 2020 – In order to prevent voter fraud, Trump said, he will order law enforcement to the polls on November 3. “We’re going to have sheriffs, and we’re going to have law enforcement. And we’re going to have hopefully U.S. attorneys, and we’re going to have everybody and attorney generals,” he said. Law enforcement is barred at polling places in several states because of concerns over voter intimidation.
https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/513048-trump-says-he-will-send-law-enforcement-us-attorneys-to-polls-in
 More election tampering
August 4, 2020 – Trump’s campaign sued Nevada, arguing that a bill allowing voters to mail in election ballots would lead to fraud. In a tweet, Trump called the legislation “an illegal late-night coup,” adding, “See you in Court!”
https://thenevadaindependent.com/article/trump-campaign-sues-nevada-over-bill-expanding-mail-in-voting-for-general-election
Undermining America, insulting the American system, undermining democracy and making attacks on the American people. No one hates american democracy like Trump
August 21, 2020 – Trump said he had a “theory” that if November’s election results were not known by the end of 2020, “Crazy Nancy Pelosi would become president, you know that. No. No. I don’t know if it’s a theory or a fact, but I said, ’That’s not good. That’s not good.’” In his remarks to a conservative group in Arlington, Va., Trump also said, “The more success that we’ve achieved, the more unhinged the radical left has become. Anarchists and violent mobs have rioted in our Democrat-run cities, attacking police and tearing down statues. I’m the only thing standing between the American dream and total anarchy, madness, and chaos, and that’s what it is.”
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/08/21/us/elections/trump-says-he-is-the-only-thing-standing-between-the-american-dream-and-total-anarchy.html
No one is above the law. Refusing to comply with investigators
August 24, 2020 – New York State’s attorney general asked a State Supreme Court judge to compel Eric Trump, the president’s son, to testify in an investigation. The inquiry was looking into whether Trump and his business overstated assets “to secure loans and obtain economic and tax benefits.” Eric Trump canceled an interview with the attorney general in July, and the Trump Organization said it would not comply with seven subpoenas that it was sent.
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/08/24/nyregion/letitia-james-trump-projects-investigation.html
 Big govt stealing from taxpayers
August 27, 2020 – In visiting his own properties 271 times as president, Trump and Secret Service agents netted the Trump Organization more than $900,000. According to the Washington Post, Trump’s business also brought in at least $3.8 million in fees associated with 37 political events held at Trump’s properties.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/trump-company-secret-service-spending/2020/08/27/9331bd86-de36-11ea-8051-d5f887d73381_story.html?hpid=hp_no-name_trumpsecretservice-1150am%3Ahomepage%2Fstory-ans
More attacks on American WOrking class. He acts like the postal service is a boogie man. Its hundreds of thousands of hard working americans trying to do a job to keep this country running
August 13, 2020 – Trump said he opposed $25 billion in emergency aid for the U.S. Postal Service. He made the unfounded claim that the coronavirus relief funding would help the service process “fraudulent” mail ballots for the November election.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/
 Praising Terrorist
August 31, 2020 – Trump suggested that a 17-year-old charged with murdering two protesters in Kenosha, Wisconsin, acted in self-defense. “That was an interesting situation,” Trump said at a news conference. “He was trying to get away from them, I guess it looks like, and he fell and then they very violently attacked him… I guess he was in very big trouble. He probably would’ve been killed.” The shootings occurred during an anti-racist protest after Jacob Blake was shot seven times in the back by police. Trump planned to travel to Kenosha, but Blake’s family said they would talk to the president only if the family’s lawyers were present. Trump said he would not speak with them.
https://www.politico.com/news/2020/08/31/trump-defends-kenosha-gunman-406377
Promoting conspiracy theorists
August 12, 2020 – Trump congratulated Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican congressional candidate from Georgia who voiced her support of the far-right conspiracy theory QAnon. “Marjorie is strong on everything and never gives up — a real WINNER!” Trump wrote on Twitter. The FBI identified QAnon as a potential domestic terror threat in 2019.
https://www.axios.com/trump-qanon-georgia-runoff-marjorie-taylor-greene-50ccdb7a-89ca-4331-9b16-77710ea27b5c.html
But his whole campaign is based on baseless conspiracies
August 11, 2020 – In a radio interview, Trump said, “China will own the United States if this election is lost by Donald Trump.” He added, “If I don’t win the election…you’re going to have to learn to speak Chinese, you want to know the truth.”
https://www.cnn.com/2020/08/11/politics/trump-china-biden-learn-chinese/index.html
 Anti free speech
– August 28, 2020 – At a campaign rally in New Hampshire, Trump ridiculed social justice protesters around the country. “You know what I say?” he told a small crowd. “Protesters, your ass. I don’t talk about my ass. They’re not protesters. Those aren’t protesters. Those are anarchists, they’re agitators, they’re rioters, they’re looters.”
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-election-trump/trump-knocks-protesters-against-racial-injustice-during-new-hampshire-rally-idUSKBN25O1AE
  More anti free speech
– August 7, 2020 – The Trump administration issued two rarely used executive orders to ban TikTok and WeChat. The popular social media networks are owned by companies in China — a frequent target of the president’s pre-election rhetoric. “The spread in the United States of mobile applications developed and owned by companies in the People’s Republic of China (China) continues to threaten the national security, foreign policy, and economy of the United States,” Trump wrote. He did not, however, outline any specific threat from the companies.
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/08/06/technology/trump-wechat-tiktok-china.html
Only cares about his brand and money
August 8, 2020 – An aide to Trump asked the South Dakota governor’s office what it took to have a president added to Mount Rushmore. In 2018, Trump had told future Governor Kristi Noem, “Do you know it’s my dream to have my face on Mount Rushmore?”
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/08/08/us/politics/kristi-noem-pence-trump.html
What is wrong with him. A dr is just doing her job and he attacks her cus dead americans make him look bad? Suck it up!
August 3, 2020 – Dr. Deborah Birx, the White House coronavirus response coordinator, said that the pandemic was “extraordinarily widespread.” Trump replied that she was “pathetic.”
https://www.politico.com/news/2020/08/03/trump-blasts-birx-after-coronavirus-claims-390881
Speaking ill of the dead, Not giving a shit about Russia putting bounties on american troops heads, not caring that americans are dying
August 4, 2020 – Jonathan Swan of Axios asked Trump how the coronavirus was “under control” when 1,000 Americans were dying of it every day. “They are dying. That’s true. It is what it is,” Trump replied. In the same interview, Trump maintained that he did not know about Russia’s offer of bounties for American troops killed in Afghanistan. The bounties, though, were reportedly brought to his attention in intelligence reports. “I read a lot,” he said. “I comprehend extraordinarily well. Probably better than anybody you’ve interviewed in a long time.” When asked how history will remember the late civil rights leader John Lewis, Trump replied, “I really don’t know. I don’t know. I don’t know John Lewis. He chose not to come to my inauguration.”
https://www.axios.com/trump-coronavirus-under-control-5f114a16-9952-428c-bc07-3cfa360b0977.html
    Trump is anti christian
Intentionally spreading the virus
August 27, 2020 – The Trump administration broke norms and flouted the Hatch Act by using government property — the White House — for a political convention. Trump delivered his closing-night speech from the South Portico, flanked by Jumbotrons on the South Lawn that screened campaign billboards. Roughly 1,500 people attended the speech, sitting closely together, most refusing to wear masks. A senior White House official dismissed any concerns about the coronavirus, telling CNN, “Everybody is going to catch this thing eventually.”
Lying about dead americans to look good in the polls
August 5, 2020 – The United States recorded 1,380 COVID-19 deaths in a day, but Trump said, “This thing’s going away. It will go away like things go away.”
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-08-05/trump-says-surging-virus-will-go-away-like-things-go-away
Do not take the lord’s name in vain. He’s trying to speak for God.
August 6, 2020 – Trump said that Biden, a Catholic who has long attended Mass, was “following the radical left agenda… no religion, no anything, hurt the Bible, hurt God. He’s against God."
https://www.washingtonpost.com/
Thou shalt not covet . He’s so full of hate when obama comes up
August 19, 2020 – As Obama criticized Trump in a speech at the Democratic National Convention, Trump assailed his predecessor in tweets. He wrote, “HE SPIED ON MY CAMPAIGN, AND GOT CAUGHT!” and “WHY DID HE REFUSE TO ENDORSE SLOW JOE UNTIL IT WAS ALL OVER, AND EVEN THEN WAS VERY LATE? WHY DID HE TRY TO GET HIM NOT TO RUN?” Earlier in the day, having heard some of Obama’s prepared remarks, Trump said, “When I listen to that and then I see the horror that he’s left us, the stupidity of the transactions that he’s made — look what we’re doing, we have our great border wall, we have security.”
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2020-election/trump-hammers-obama-ahead-dnc-speech-so-ineffective-so-terrible-n1237359
Lies, coveting , and being a petty man baby
August 9, 2020 – Trump cut short a news conference when a reporter asked him why he repeatedly took credit — more than 150 times — for a veterans’ health care bill that was signed into law by President Obama. “Why do you keep saying that you passed Veterans Choice?” asked CBS correspondent Paula Reid. “It was passed in 2014… it was a false statement, sir.” Trump answered, “OK. Thank you very much, everybody.” Then he abruptly walked away.
https://www.cnn.com/2020/08/08/politics/trump-veterans-choice-paula-reid/index.html
Threatening American citizens, the poor the homeless, displaced. Threaten to take away money from the state so they could help those whos homes were destroyed
August 20, 2020 – As wildfires displaced more than 100,000 Californians, Trump again blamed the state for the blazes, threatening to withhold federal emergency funds. Speaking at a rally in Pennsylvania, he said, “I said, you gotta clean your floors, you gotta clean your forests — there are many, many years of leaves and broken trees and they’re like, like, so flammable, you touch them and it goes up.” He added, “Maybe we’re just going to have to make them pay for it because they don’t listen to us.”

August 10, 2020 – Trump said he would not have called for Obama’s resignation if 160,000 Americans had died on his watch. Trump, though, had said in 2014 that Obama should resign for his response to the Ebola outbreak, during which two people died in the United States. “I think it’s been amazing what we’ve been able to do,” Trump said about his administration’s response to the pandemic. “We understand the disease. Nobody understood it because nobody’s ever seen anything like this. The closest thing is in 1917, they say, right? The great pandemic. Certainly was a terrible thing where they lost anywhere from 50 to 100 million people. Probably ended the Second World War, all the soldiers were sick.” The pandemic that Trump spoke of actually began in 1918 and lasted until 1919. World War II ended 26 years later, in 1945.

Debt for dolphins: Seychelles creates huge marine parks in world-first finance scheme
New Post has been published on https://financeqia.com/must-see/debt-for-dolphins-seychelles-creates-huge-marine-parks-in-world-first-finance-scheme/
Debt for dolphins: Seychelles creates huge marine parks in world-first finance scheme
An innovative exchange of sovereign debt for marine conservation, backed by the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, could pave the way to saving large swaths of the worlds oceans
The tropical island nation of Seychelles is to create two huge new marine parks in return for a large amount of its national debt being written off, in the first scheme of its kind in the world.
The novel financial engineering, effectively swapping debt for dolphins and other marine life, aims to throw a lifeline to corals, tuna and turtles being caught in a storm of overfishing and climate change. If it works, it will also secure the economic future of the nation, which depends entirely on tourism and fishing. With other ocean states lining up to follow, the approach could transform large swaths of the planets troubled seas.
The challenge for the Seychelles is clear on the coral reef fringing Curieuse Island, once a leper colony and now a national park. The mass bleaching caused by warming waters in 2016 has left the white limbs of branching corals lying like bones in a ploughed graveyard, with rare flashes of the cobalt-blue coral survivors.
The biggest changes are climate change, says David Rowat, a marine scientist and diving school owner for 30 years, who says storms and bleaching events are becoming more frequent. Some clownfish have never returned since the major bleaching in 1998, he says: The nemos all went. As the reef recovered, the 2016 bleaching was a kick in the teeth, Rowat says.

Overfishing, and the killing of dolphins, sharks and turtles as bycatch in tuna nets, is also taking its toll across the Seychelles vast ocean territory. The new marine plan bans fishing around biodiversity hotspots, keeping them healthy and better able to resist climate change.
The biodiversity jewel in the Seychelles crown is the Aldabra archipelago, which rivals the Galapagos in ecological importance. Spinner dolphins, manta rays, humpback whales and nurse, lemon and tiger sharks share the waters with hawksbill and green turtles, and seabirds from some of the worlds largest colonies soar above. Dugongs – or sea cows – are the most endangered species in the Indian Ocean and shelter here, while 100,000 rare giant tortoises slowly roam the land.
The new protected area around Aldabra is 74,000 square kilometres – almost the size of Scotland – and bans all extractive uses, from fishing to oil exploitation. The second new protected area is 134,000 sq km, centred on the main Seychelles island of Mahe. It allows controlled activities but is, for example, banning fish aggregating devices rafts that concentrate fish but drive up bycatch.
Together, the parks cover 15% of the Seychelles ocean and the government will double this by 2021, putting it far ahead of an international target of 10% by 2020. The parks resulted from the first ever debt-swap deal for marine protection in which $22m of national debt owed to the UK, France, Belgium and Italy was bought at a discount by The Nature Conservancy (TNC), the NGO that has assisted the Seychelles.
Seychelles marine park plans
TNC also raised $5m from donors to pay off part of the debt and cut the interest rate charged to the Seychelles government on the outstanding loan. This has freed up $12m over the next 20 years to help implement the new marine plan.
The Seychelles is positioning itself as a world leader in ocean governance, says environment minister, Didier Dogley. But we are not doing this because we have such a great ego but because we truly believe these initiatives will create prosperity for our people, conserve critical biodiversity and build resilience against climate change.
Leonardo DiCaprio, whose foundation donated $1m towards funding the debt swap, said: These protections mean that all species living in these waters or migrating through them are now far better shielded from overfishing, pollution, and climate change.
Benot Bosquet, environment practice manager at the World Bank, which is not involved in the Seychelles marine plan, said: They are a leader in this field worldwide and may be an example for many other countries.
However, despite the biggest consultation since the Seychelles nation was founded, some islanders have not welcomed the new plan. On Praslin island, as he unloads his catch of job fish and white spotted snappers onto Grande Anse beach, fisherman Richard Bossy, says: We are worried. They want to make a lot of regulated areas where we cant fish. Fishing is already harder and we are going to lose a lot. If there is not enough enforcement, it will never be implemented.
Some fishermen are worried about the conservation plan. Photograph: Tate Drucker / The Nature Conservancy
Leroy Lesperance, who charters glass-bottomed and game-fishing boats to tourists on Praslin, is also sceptical the plan will become a reality: I am 44 and I have heard this talk since I was at school.
But others have bought into the idea, including Graham Green, a young fisherman at Baie St Anne on Praslin: If the fish are protected where they are spawning, Ive heard they will get bigger. We need to do it if we are going to be catching fish in 20 years.
Fisherman Graham Green in Baie St Anne. Photograph: Tate Drucker / The Nature Conservancy
Green expects the benefits will take perhaps five-10 years to be realised, but sees it as an investment: You couldnt start a business today and be a millionaire tomorrow – if you could everyone would be a millionaire.
Another challenge to the marine plan is a controversial new military base planned for the island of Assumption, about 20 miles from the Aldabra atoll and to be paid for by India. One well-informed source, who asked for anonymity, told the Guardian: I am worried that it could damage the biodiversity of Aldabra. We are talking about big ships coming in to berth. That implies pollution and the dredging of channels, which can cover corals in silt, he says.
The Assumption saga will certainly test the credibility of the marine spatial plan process, says Keith Andre, from the Fisherman and Boat Owners Association.
But Seychelles vice-president, Vincent Meriton, says the military base will have to pass environmental assessments and will actually benefit protection, by enabling better surveillance around the isolated Aldabra archipelago: This facility will allow us to better monitor. It augurs well.
Meriton also says the Seychelles will need to use new satellite surveillance programmes that use machine learning algorithms to detect the tell-tale movement patterns of fishing boats, already in use in some parts of the Pacific.

Oil exploration is another dilemma for the Seychelles, which could be sitting on world-class reserves, according to Patrick Joseph, CEO of PetroSeychelles, a state-owned company. It has given up some high-priority prospects, such as the Wilkes seamount which is now in the Aldabra protection zone.
But, pointing to the revisions to the plan expected every five years, he says: If the price of oil goes a bit higher, there will be companies drilling here in the Seychelles. Andre, pointing to the possibility of seismic surveys in the protected zone around Aldabra, says: The nature and impacts of these activities contradicts the authenticity of the entire process.
Many of the details of exactly what is allowed in the protected zones could not be finalised until the areas were selected and are still being worked out, meaning many difficult negotiations still lie ahead. It is a chicken and egg situation, says Helena Sims, TNCs project manager in the Seychelles. But we have built trust from the bottom up and if we keep that and are transparent I am positive our targets can be met.
The Seychelles debt swap is a vital test case for this new way of funding ocean conservation. Rob Weary at TNC did the deal and expects to close a $60m debt swap deal with Grenada this year and a series of others in the Caribbean in the next couple of years. Mauritius also has serious interest.
Despite the election of Donald Trump scuppering for now planned swaps of US debt for Palau and the Marshall Islands in the Pacific, Weary is confident debt swaps for marine conservation are going to grow: In the next three to five years we could potentially do a billion dollars of these deals. We have a sight line to that.
All eyes are on us to see whether it works, says Sims. The Seychelles, which is 99% ocean, will have gone from 0.04% to 30% protected area in a few years if it does.
Questions, such as oil exploration, remain. But environment minister Dogley says: We dont have answers for everything now but the marine spatial plan has started the process of thinking about these things – before we were not. The debt swap triggered everything.

Here Are The 7 Rino Republicans Who Voted To Impeach President Trump
US Senate votes to acquit Donald Trump as impeachment trial concludes
Write these names down, remember them.
They are not fit to continue serving in office in the Republican party.
Actually.I feel like we need a new party altogether.
I dont really want to be a Republican.
But I want nothing to do with the RINOs.
President Trump was acquitted today in a historic SECOND sham impeachment trial.
He soundly defeated the action, as the Democrat House Managers suddenly caved in a surprise turn of events after Trumps team put Nancy Pelosi on the witness list.
Very interesting!

ACQUITTED!
Watch:
Former U.S. President Trump declared not guilty at the post-presidency impeachment trial.
Senate vote was 57 Guilty & 43 Not Guilty. 67 was needed to impeach. Donald Trump can officially run for U.S. president in 2024 despite acts of treason & insurrection. #TrumpImpeachment

BREAKING : Senate acquits Trump of impeachment charges, by a vote of 43-57, which is short of the two-thirds majority required for conviction.
From CBS:
Here Are The 7 Republicans Who Voted To Convict Trump
Seven Republican senators voted to convict former President Trump on the charge of incitement to insurrection, joining Democrats to make it it a far more bipartisan vote than Mr. Trump’s first impeachment trial. But the final vote of 57-43 fell short of the 67 votes that would have been needed for conviction.
The Republicans voting to convict were Senators Richard Burr of North Carolina, Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Mitt Romney of Utah, Ben Sasse of Nebraska and Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania.
Romney’s vote was all but a given, and the votes from Collins and Murkowski weren’t unexpected. Perhaps the most surprising vote came from Burr.
But something distinguishes most of the Republicans who voted to convict Mr. Trump most of them aren’t up for reelection soon. Murkowski is the only one of the group facing reelection in 2022. Burr and Toomey aren’t running for another term.
Collins and Murkowski asked some of the most probing questions on Friday when senators had the chance to pose questions to the defense and to the House impeachment managers.
Collins, Murkowski, Romney and Sasse also joined Democrats in voting to call witnesses Saturday, as did Repubilcan Senator Lindsey Graham. But Democrats ultimately backed off on calling witnesses.
Several of the senators released statements explaining their decisions following the vote Saturday.
Graffiti Painted Outside Trump Attorney Van Der Veen’s Chester County Home
But by joining all 50 Democrats who voted against Trump, the seven GOP senators created a clear majority against him and provided a bipartisan chorus of condemnation of the former president. Trump was acquitted of inciting an insurrection for riling up a crowd of his supporters before they attacked the U.S. Capitol last month.
In an emailed statement, Toomey was critical of some treatment of Trump since 2016, calling the mainstream media “unrelentingly biased and hostile to the president.” He claimed news outlets and the Democratic Party “overlooked violent riots when perpetrated in favor of causes they found sympathetic last summer.”
However, these facts do not make President Trumps conduct in response to losing the 2020 election acceptable,” Toomey’s statement says. “He began with dishonest, systematic attempts to convince supporters that he had won. His lawful, but unsuccessful, legal challenges failed due to lack of evidence. Then, he applied intense pressure on state and local officials to reverse the election outcomes in their states.”
Toomey said he voted for Trump in 2020 but said the former president “betrayed to confidence millions of us placed in him.”
The six other Republicans who voted to find Trump guilty were Sens. Richard Burr of North Carolina, Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Mitt Romney of Utah, Ben Sasse of Nebraska.

In this image from video, Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, speaks after the Senate acquitted former President Donald Trump in his second impeachment trial in the Senate at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, Saturday, Feb. 13, 2021. Trump was accused of inciting the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, and the acquittal gives him a historic second victory in the court of impeachment.
WASHINGTON Seven Republicans voted Saturday to convict former President Donald Trump in his Senate trial, easily the largest number of lawmakers to ever vote to find a president of their own party guilty at impeachment proceedings.
While lawmakers acquitted Trump of inciting the Jan. 6 Capitol attack, they voted 57-43 to convict him – short of the two-thirds majority needed to find him guilty. Still, with seven Republicans joining all 50 Democrats in voting guilty, the Senate issued an unmistakable bipartisan chorus of condemnation of the former president that could have political implications for a GOP conflicted over its future.
If I cant say what I believe that our president should stand for, then why should I ask Alaskans to stand with me? Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska told reporters.
Besides Murkowski, other Republican senators voting against Trump were Richard Burr of North Carolina, Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, Susan Collins of Maine, Mitt Romney of Utah, Ben Sasse of Nebraska and Patrick Toomey of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Sasse, 48, a senator since 2015, was just re-elected. He has been a frequent critic of Mr. Trump and had signaled that he was open to convicting the former president.
On election night 2014, I promised Nebraskans Id always vote my conscience even if it was against the partisan stream, Mr. Sasse said in a statement. In my first speech here in the Senate in November 2015, I promised to speak out when a president even of my own party exceeds his or her powers. I cannot go back on my word, and Congress cannot lower our standards on such a grave matter, simply because it is politically convenient.

The seven Republican senators who voted to convict former President Donald Trump of inciting the deadly Jan. 6 insurrection are already feeling the heat back home.
Several state Republican parties moved quickly to discipline or criticize home-state senators for breaking with the 43 other Senate Republicans who voted to acquit Trump in his second impeachment trial.
The Louisiana GOP immediately censured Sen. Bill Cassidy, while state party officials in North Carolina and Pennsylvania issued sharp statements expressing disappointment over the votes cast Saturday by Sens. Richard Burr and Pat Toomey.
The moves are the latest in a series ofcensures and disciplinary actions doled out to lawmakers deemed to be critical of the former president in the wake of the Capitol riot. Trump, acquitted Saturday of inciting the insurrection, still has broad support among Republican voters and state and local parties have lashed out at elected officials who have been critical of his actions.
Yet it was Cassidy who received the harshest rebuke Saturday.
Cassidy defended his vote in a two-sentence statement.
Lawrence Tabas, Pennsylvania GOP chair, was also critical of Toomey’s vote.
Mcconnell Says House Prosecutors Proved Trump Incited Attack On Capitol Though He Voted To Acquit Because Trump Is No Longer In Office

WASHINGTON Donald Trumps historic second impeachment trial ended Saturday with acquittal on a 57-43 vote, with seven Republicans and all Democrats voting that the former president incited insurrection.
Though 10 votes shy of the two-thirds needed, it was the most bipartisan vote for conviction in any of the four presidential trials in U.S. history and, by far, the shortest.
Democrats insisted the trial would leave an indelible mark on Trumps legacy. The 45th president is the only U.S. president impeached and acquitted twice.
He has been discredited in the eyes of the American people and in the judgment of history, said Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, a New York Democrat.
Texas Sens. John Cornyn and Ted Cruz voted for acquittal.
The Republicans who voted to convict were Sens. Richard Burr of North Carolina, Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Mitt Romney of Utah, Ben Sasse of Nebraska and Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania.
One year and one week ago, at Trumps first trial, Romney had been the only Republican voting to convict and remove him from office on a charge of abuse of power.
President Trump is practically and morally responsible for provoking the events of the day. No question about it, McConnell said, accusing Trump of peddling a wild myth that he had won the election and engaging in unconscionable behavior before and during the Jan. 6 attack.

Senator Burr first began his Congressional career in 2004 when he won North Carolinas  Republican Primary. He has now served in the Senate for nearly two decades but is facing censorship from the GOP as a result of his defiant stance in the impeachment trials.
Censorship is a formal statement of disapproval from the states party, therefore it has no direct repercussions such as removal from office but it can have lasting effects on the senators reputation, thus affecting his or her chances of being reelected. Senator Burr, however, will not be running next year, though there are no reports of the censorship having any influence on this decision.
In his trial statement, Senator Burr asserted Trump was responsible for the events that took place at the Capitol, stating, The evidence is compelling that President Trump is guilty of inciting an insurrection against a coequal branch of government

Senate Acquits Trump; Seven Republicans Vote To Convict | Morning Joe | MSNBC
This time, there will be more. Some Republican senators have called on Trump to resign, and even Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said he is undecided at this point.
Trump’s impeachment won’t lead to his removal even if he is convicted because of the timeline. The Senate is adjourned until Tuesday. The next day, Biden will be sworn in as the 46th president. But there’s another penalty the Constitution allows for as a result of a Senate conviction that could be appealing to some Republican senators banning Trump from holding “office” again.
While there is some debate as to the definition of “office” in the Constitution and whether that would apply to running for president or even Congress, that kind of public rebuke would send a strong message that Republicans are ready to move on from Trumpism.

American Crime Story, FXs anthology series, will soon be back with a new season.
Titled Impeachment, this instalment is a dramatisation of the circumstances that led to former US president Bill Clintons impeachment by the House of Representatives in 1998 .
Clinton was revealed in 1998 to have had an affair with Monica Lewinsky, a former White House intern. This was the subject of a report by Independent Counsel Ken Starr, which was delivered to the US Congress on 6 September 1998.
Starrs findings led the House of Representatives to impeach Clinton on the grounds of perjury to a grand jury and obstruction of justice on 19 December 1998.
Out of 435 voting members in the House of Representatives, 228 voted to impeach Clinton, a Democrat, on the perjury charge. This included 223 Republicans and five Democrats. Another 206 voted not to impeach, including five Republicans, 200 Democrats, and one Independent. One person did not vote.
Seven Gop Senators Vote To Convict Trump
Seven Republican senators voted on Saturday to convict former President Trump
The GOP senators joined with every member of the Democratic caucus but still fell short of the two-thirds majority 67 votes need to successfully find him “guilty,” the question before the Senate.
The support from Republicans is more GOP support than the impeachment effort received in 2020, when only Sen. Mitt Romney voted for one of the articles.
With 45, and subsequently 44, GOP senators voting to say that Trump’s trial was unconstitutional, the number of GOP senators open to convicting was limited to a handful of must-watch Republicans.
Burr, who had previously said he wouldn’t run for reelection, previously voted that the trial was unconstitutional but then voted to convict Trump on Saturday.

The GOP support in the Senate comes after 10 House Republicans supported the impeachment effort last month, making it the chamber’s most bipartisan vote to impeach a president.

Patrick J Toomey Of Pennsylvania
Mr. Toomey, 59, a senator since 2011, is not seeking re-election in 2022. He had denounced Mr. Trumps conduct; in a statement on Saturday, he said had decided during the trial that the former president deserved to be found guilty.
I listened to the arguments on both sides, Mr. Toomey said, and I thought the arguments in favor of conviction were much stronger.

President Donald Trump impeached for ‘incitement of insurrection’
The House of Representatives has voted to impeach President Donald Trump — making him the only president in American history to be impeached twice.
Unlike his first impeachment in 2019, 10 Republicans joined Democrats to charge Trump for the “incitement of insurrection” for his role in the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol with a final vote of 232-197.
Some Republicans may have feared for their own safety if they voted for impeachment, Rep. Adam Kinzinger, one of those who voted against Trump, said. Kinzinger told ABC’s “Powerhouse Politics” podcast that some members of his party are likely holding back from voting for impeachment due to fear of highlighting their own participation in supporting the president’s false claims of election fraud.
Democrat Jason Crow, of Colorado, relayed similar thoughts in an interview with MSNBC on Wednesday morning.
“I had a lot of conversations with my Republican colleagues last night, and a couple of them broke down in tears talking to me and saying that they are afraid for their lives if they vote for this impeachment,” he said.
Here is a list of the 10 Republicans who took a stance against Trump:
Rep. Adam Kinzinger, R-Ill.“It’s not going to be some ‘Kumbaya moment’ on the floor — it’s going to be an awakening by the American people to hold their leaders accountable to their rhetoric,”

Despite the acquittal, President Joe Biden said in a statement that “substance of the charge” against Trump is “not in dispute.”
“Even those opposed to the conviction, like Senate Minority Leader McConnell, believe Donald Trump was guilty of a ‘disgraceful dereliction of duty’ and ‘practically and morally responsible for provoking’ the violence unleashed on the Capitol,” Biden’s statement read in part.
The president added that “this sad chapter in our history has reminded us that democracy is fragile. That it must always be defended. That we must be ever vigilant. That violence and extremism has no place in America. And that each of us has a duty and responsibility as Americans, and especially as leaders, to defend the truth and to defeat the lies.”
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., called Saturday’s vote the largest and most bipartisan vote in any impeachment trial in history,” but noted it wasn’t enough to secure a conviction.
The trial “was about choosing country over Donald Trump, and 43 Republican members chose Trump. They chose Trump. It should be a weight on their conscience today, and it shall be a weight on their conscience in the future,” he said in a speech on the Senate floor.
With control of the Senate split 50-50, the House managers always had an uphill battle when it came to convincing enough Republicans to cross party lines and convict a former president who is still very popular with a large part of the GOP base.
Rep Jaime Herrera Beutler
While Beutler admitted that she did not vote for Trump in 2016, she did back the president for a second term in 2020.
On Tuesday, the congresswoman announced she would vote to impeach, saying: The Presidents offenses, in my reading of the Constitution, were impeachable based on the indisputable evidence we already have.
I understand the argument that the best course is not to further inflame the country or alienate Republican voters, she added. But I am a Republican voter I see that my own party will be best served when those among us choose truth.

Susan Collins Of Maine
Ms. Collins, 68, a senator since 1997, was just re-elected to a fifth term. She has long been critical of Mr. Trumps actions, extending to the Capitol riot.
That attack was not a spontaneous outbreak of violence, Ms. Collins said on the Senate floor after the vote. Rather it was the culmination of a steady stream of provocations by President Trump that were aimed at overturning the results of the presidential election.
While The Majority Of Republican Senators Sided With Trump And Backed His Acquittal Seven Republican Senators Joined The Democrats And Voted To Convict The Republican Former President On The Single Charge
Donald Trump was acquitted in his impeachment trialon Saturday on a charge of inciting insurrection in a Jan. 6 speech to supporters just before hundreds of them stormed the US Capitol.
While the majority of Republican senators sided with Trumpand backed his acquittal, seven Republican senators joined the Democrats and voted to convict the Republican former president on the single charge. One of them, Richard Burr, had previously voted that the proceeding was unconstitutional because Trump left office on Jan. 20, a motion rejected by the Senate.
RICHARD BURR
Burr said while running for office in 2016 that he would not seek re-election in 2022. The senator from North Carolina had already been unpopular with Trumps allies for his work heading the Senate Intelligence Committee, which had probed Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. election. Trump had opposed the investigation.
BILL CASSIDY
The senator from Louisiana on Tuesday joined five Republican colleagues in voting that the proceeding was constitutional, reversing his stance from an earlier vote on the issue. Cassidy told reporters after the House impeachment managers presented on Tuesday that they had a very good opening.

This vote could expose some of them to potential primary challenges from the right as well as possible safety threats, but for all of them Trump had simply gone too far. Multiple House Republicans said threats toward them and their families were factors weighing on their decisions on whether to impeach this president.
Ten out of 211 Republicans in the House is hardly an overwhelmingly bipartisan vote, and clearly, most Republicans’ sympathies still lie with Trump and his ardent base of followers. But the 10 represent something significant the most members of a president’s party to vote for his impeachment in U.S. history.

Immediate backlash from powerful rightwingers reveals the strength of Trumps grip on the Republican party
The seven Republican senators who broke ranks by voting to convict former president Donald Trump at his impeachment trial faced immediate hostility and criticism from fellow conservatives revealing the potentially high cost of opposing Trumpism within the party.
These senators North Carolinas Richard Burr, Louisianas Bill Cassidy, Maines Susan Collins, Alaskas Lisa Murkowski, Utahs Mitt Romney, Nebraskas Ben Sasse, and Pennsylvanias Pat Toomey brought the total number of guilty votes to 57. That was not nearly enough to secure a conviction, but easily enough to ensure instant attack from fellow Republicans and others on the right.
The reaction was a powerful illustration of the strength of Trumps grip on the Republican party even though he is out of office.
Lets impeach RINOs from the Republican Party!!! Trumps son and conservative favorite Donald Trump Jr said on Twitter, using the insulting acronym for Republicans In Name Only.
The instant backlash came from powerful rightwing media figures also.
Conservative Fox News host Laura Ingraham : Prediction: none of the Republicans who voted in the affirmative today will speak at the 2024 GOP convention.
For Cassidy, there was almost instant retribution in his own state. Jeff Landry, the Republican attorney general of Louisiana, tweeted: Senator Bill Cassidys vote is extremely disappointing.
