My birthday is tomorrow which means its time for me to share my favorite podcasts from my 24th year of life

There will be repeats from last year. Because those podcasts continued to kick ass and I'm not gonna remove them

Starting off with @doyoucopypod which ripped my heart out with its story but also made me become friends with some of my favorite people in this whole world (ily dels ily kit). Do You Copy? hurts in the best of ways and is a show everyone should listen to

@ethicstownpod continues to be on this list because of course it does it has to I love it so much it's my emotional support podcast that breaks my brain with ethical conundrums. CL Hendry is one of the most talented creators out there and I'm lucky to know them

@souloperatorpod started this year and immediately blew me away everything Tot does is fantastic but Soul Operator is especially fantastic you can see every bit of talent they've got in this show and even though it hurts me it's still on of my favorites I adore it (and Tot)

@grottopod was another addition in my 24th year and it mean the world to me. Not only is it chock full of my friends (and also me on occasion) it also is just a brilliant story with incredible music that I love. I got a tattoo about The Grotto yall knew it'd be on here

@woebegonepod fully took over my brain in the best way within the past year. Every episode is a turn I didn't expect and everything Dylan does with the show is marvelous. Getting to be in some episodes this year was an honor given how much I've fallen in love with this story

Its not a podcast post by me if I don't mention The Technomancy Project which fills me with all of the emotions. Season 2 did *so much* to me I'm so excited to see what comes from season 3 as I continue to love my technomancy trio and hope they figure themselves out

@audistorium has horrified me, made me laugh, made me cry, and introduced me to one of the most remarkable creators out there it's truly the quadruple threat of the audiodrama world. Landon Lemon Whisnant does incredible work on this show and is also just. An amazing person

Speaking of Lemon, him and the wonderful amazing incredible Maddie Girouard made @thefinderskeeperpod this year and while only 1 ep is out so far I'm already so in love with it and can't wait to hear more Landon and Maddie are two of my favorite people in this space they're amazing

@camlannpod arrived this year and tore me to shreds (positive) it is the most beautiful and hopeful post apocalyptic story I've ever experienced with a beautiful blending of fantasy/mythology everything about it oozes talent and care and I'm so happy to exist in a world with it

I caught up on the @thecellarletters mere days before this post went up and gods I'm so glad I got to add this to my list of favorite podcasts of 24 it's got mystery it's got suspense it's got a bug and a dog and excellent voice acting I'm so excited to see what comes next!

Its time for the EELS!!! @eelerschoice was a maritime horror highlight of my year it also made me cry which is the best compliment I can give i loved this story and hope to see more from it soon

@tellnotalespod has also made me cry. So much. It's a stunning show with incredible writing and voice acting and it makes me not afraid of what comes after death I love Tell No Tales with my whole heart Leanne is so kind and so talented and so lovely they deserve all the praise

@kingmakerpod will always hold a special place in my heart for it's excellent world building and incredible characters so of course they're on this list again too they had to be the show is so good I love it so much season 2 was incredible I can't wait for season 3

I got into @thesiltverses in it's final season and that a beautiful incredible and awe-inspiring show it was. Between the world building and the way it played with religion to how *real* the characters felt, it was an honor to listen this year

The Tiny Terrors 31 days of Halloween made my entire October better last year I loved hearing all of the stories and getting to hear from my beloved Shed Gang again it was definitely a highlight to being 24

I got to do so much with @thefringespod this past year all of season 2 came out while I was 24 and it's a huge accomplishment for me I love this show with my whole heart and all of the wonderful people it's allowed me to work with

And of course I'd be remiss if I didn't mention @forgedbondspod which was written, cast, and partially recorded all in my 24th year of life. I'm so excited about this show and getting to share it with yall. My cast is absolutely phenomenal and I'm so proud of this story

These are just some of my favorite shows from being 24! My to listen list grows ever longer as more and more people make incredible shows. I feel so fortunate to get to work in this space and to have spent 24 working on and listening to so many things I love

Random Thoughts about The On1y One (EP 7) : Home is where the heart is.

This episode was again so satisfying to watch. It's been 7 episodes so far and I can say without any doubts that you can't get bored in The On1y One. Things may move slowly, but it's just like a narrow path we're taking on a journey to learn more about our main leads. We gradually uncover more about them. You see where their loneliness comes from and how they found in each other someone who can help them overcome it. Their attachment is real and so touching. You can't be indifferent. This time we learn about why Tian is feeling always ready to leave. How lonely it must have been to be a child left to live with your grandmother who has dementia. Your parents are not here and you can only count on yourself and the small kind attentions you sometimes receive. We understand why Tian can be so protective on those who he has affection for. If you give him love, he will give it back to you so much. It was just like when he was a kid and the cat of Mr. Ding gave him the affection he was clearly lacking. The cat died, but Tian found in Wang another someone who gives him what he desperately needs deep down.

They've been giving us some hint about Tian's relationship with his father and it doesn't sound good. I wonder if his father was a bit abuse to him. It's not clearly stated in this episode, but what we know is that he wasn't a good father anyway. He never gave Tian the love he deserves and that's why he didn't feel like staying with him. It's really sad because his father was an orphan. I thought that when you had to grow up by yourself, if one day you get to have a child, maybe you'll want them to avoid living the same loneliness you had to endure. I may be wrong as I've never been an orphan… but that's what I believe. Unfortunately, Tian's father has his own traumas and he wasn't caring enough about his son. At least, Tian's mother is feeling guilty because she felt like she missed her son's childhood and she is trying. Obviously, it won't change the fact that Tian had to grow up by himself and it has left scars on him (physically and morally). That's why, he is always on the go, ready to move and never feeling like he has a place to stay. Wang learned about all of these and you can see how it resonates in him. He also knows what is loneliness. They have both experienced it in a very different way. Wang is also very loyal just like Tian and they life are now intertwined.

I really liked the time they spent together. You can see from each episode how their bond is growing. Wang said to Tian “I will be by your side” and he meant it. I feel Tian wasn’t expecting this, but it really made a big impression on him. Has anyone said these words to him before? When you’re a child, you need your loved ones around you and you need them to tell you about how much they love you and care for you. We all needs to know that we are loved. You don’t need many people, but at least one, is enough. For someone who was “abandoned” by his family, finding someone who wants to be by your side is changing everything. Especially, as Wang wants to live with Tian on the dorm, just the two of them. Wang is offering Tian, a home. Tian won’t have to wander anymore, ready to leave at any point, with his suitcase. He will have the chance to finally unpack all his belonging somewhere. What is a home? They are several answers. It can be a place where you live or it can be a broader definition of “family”. Home can become the place for forging and nourishing human attachment bonds. You can get it a sense of belonging. By offering Tian the opportunity to share a dorm with him, Wang is in fact offering him to be part of his “family”. “Family” can refer to people who live together by choice and are not related by blood bonds.

I can’t wait to see if they finally convinced their parents about this idea and if Tian is finally getting rid of that damn suitcase. Tomorrow won’t come fast enough to get the answer.

Tonklas timeline

In Greats timeline, he goes cardiac arrest at 11 o'clock. How he got at hospital we don't know. Yes, we saw him getting shot and bla bla bla, but don't forget this is after he re-do shit. Saved woman and this woman became his end. And dot forget, she is also his begging. She is the first re-do Great did. In his timeline we don't know what happened to Tyme. Is he alive running to Great? Or is he dying somewhere.

Tymes' timeline is more complicated cause we've seen Greats POV so far. I guess we will see Tymes from the next episode, and then we will have culmination. But just guess: Tymes plan was to get Great, I don't know fall in love or just befriend him and use him against his family or just use him for information, but he fall in love and that's where all shit goes down. In the end, we see Tyme run and his bloody nose appear and dissappear, I think we are shown 2 timelines, one is Greats, and another one is Tymes. Which is which hell knows. With Greats re-do, Tyme saved Nan and all good, but in Tymes timeline, nothing has changed, I think. The bloody nose in ep. 5 and Tyme being shot in ep. 1 can be seen as evidence. The place where he is shot looks like where illegal casino or Greats Fathers whearhouse is.

Tonklas timeline, the easy one, this kid got some serious problems. He went for revenge, his little brother never was saved, he was neglected by Korn, got new man, and became a murderer. I think his and Tymes' timeline can be seen as the same. Without Greats re-do. Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty interested in how his character gonna help and how his choices gonna help the timelines and the world's, but his story is really boring for me. I am stunned by Fuaiz (Tonkla), he is a great actor, he does everything really well, but Tonkla as a character for me af this moment is very boring and just I don't know... I can't see him fitting.

So

Great goes cardiac arrest, Tyme runs to him

Tonkla killes Title, who killed his little brother

Tyme is shot while somewhere, maybe trying to save Nan.

2 and 3 can be same timelines. Great is still going to cardiac arrest.

And here is the main thing, if this is some suspense/ supernatural series, the worlds will collide, and we will have one timeline, everybody surviving or dying.

Like in 1 Tyme will experience the other Tymes' feelings and maybe even see all the shit. Again, I don't know about Tonkla. How is he fitting in this story? I can't wait to see it, really. Great is already experiencing different timelines, so we will se if he survives.

Wild guess, after watching Bible and Jes rehearsal for 1st meeting. It was like they were in the same place, but they couldn't reach each other, typical parallel worlds and different timelines. It was the same act in teaser as well. They met, fought, fell in love, separated, and in the end, they died.

One of them for sure will die. Or both of them. Bible in his interview said that a happy ending depends on person, how we see it. For someone, it can be these two surviving and continuing loving and living. For some, it can be them meeting again afterlife. Let's not forget that death is not the end, Albus Dumbledore said: "After all, to the well-organised mind, death is but the next great adventure".

I hope for a better end, but... they are going to be together in everytimelime, parallel , and the afterlife.

@camlannpod episode 2 released this week and my gods it was so much fun. A blend of deep and emotional scenes and comedy (I'm still thinking about "The CW lied to me") I love every character with my whole heart and have been loving all the theories on tumblr about the show

New @innbetween was so sweet I love hearing the Lowlifes become actual friends. Phoebe thinking that everyone wanted her to leave squeezed my heart so hard and everyone insisting she stay because she was the one that they wanted for the quest??? Just so so good

@somewhereohio has once again knocked me flat with this episode. The worldbuilding around Jasmine and what's going on with her memories is incredible! I am an Orange Splice stan 1st and person 2nd. Also the Nadia/Alex scene breaks my heart because I know how they end 😭.

New Technomancy Project was SO GOOD!! And I was FUCKING RIGHT!!! I said this before but I love having all of them play Belial's game this time around and I don't think there's a single EPO agent who didn't make me cry this ep. The Technomancy Project continues to kick ass

Caught up on last weeks @thesiltverses and gods it fucked me up (affectionate) B Narr does such a fantastic job with Faulkner. I love him. I hate him. I want him to get whats coming to him & I want to protect him from it at the same time. B's performance knocks me flat every time

There was another special episode of @wakeofcorrosion this week featuring the Fringes' very own @totcoc0a and @taytayheyhey! I will never forgive them for what they did to my heart <3 Shaun Pellington wrote a killer script and deserves none of the blame even if it did break me

Continuing to make my way through the Storage Papers this week and episodes 13-19 were VERY good. I said "Nope, don't like that" out loud multiple times while listening to 19 which is the exact reaction you want from a horror pod.

This isn't a new episode listen but @wpwcpod has announced their existence and cast and im SO FUCKING EXCITED!! Not only do I love CL Hendry's writing but it will also feature the Fringes' very own Ollie Bannerman and @chainofbeing Cai Gwilym Pritchard I'm so hyped

Even the nurses gossip about how intimidating and cold he is. Very interested in Tyme's doctor ex-girlfriend just from that throwaway. Girl, do not drop out of your specialty over a boy!!!

Finished episode 2.3 of "Rings of Power" and it was great too!!! 😀 This season is off to an amazing start, and I can't wait to see the other episodes over the next 5 weeks. I'm still going to wait to reblog things tomorrow, but I'm checking the tags again and finding things to post tomorrow. Just want to say still amazed at Charlie Vickers' acting this year, and just saw how he rejoined Instagram today, as he had an account years ago when he was filming "Medici", so he's officially back online. Also, realized there's a least 3 "My Lady Jane" cast members on the show too now, and I'm still sad that show got cancelled before it could finish adapting the book. Full thoughts on the episodes behind the cut.

Ep 2.3 was really good and focused more on what's going on with Númenor, the Southlanders, and what happened to Isildur. I loved seeing Berek get focus and find Isildur and helped save him from Shelob. I'm also into the Isildur/Estrid ship, but a lot of us had a feeling she'd end up working with Adar and/or Sauron, and it was right but it looks like she might be trying to change.

Then after the news broke that Bronwyn's actress was leaving and they weren't recasting we all knew she was likely getting killed off, and she did. That funeral scene was so sad and I feel so bad for Theo and Arondir. Still wondering too if that theory from s1 is true and Theo will be one of the 9 men.

We also got a lot of focus on Númenor and what's going on there. Was wondering when Miriel was going to be overthrown by Ar-Pharazon and it happened already. And that Eärien would switch sides and join with The King's Men against The Faithful. Got me even more curious when not only Isildur will return to help, but also Elendil's other son Anárion will show up and lead the Faithful, setting up for when they all escape at the downfall.

We still got scenes of Annatar/Sauron with Celebrimbor and the dwarves, and getting them to agree to make their rings too. And I loved seeing Damrod the troll, and that Glug the orc not only have a wife but a baby!!! 😲

As for the "My Lady Jane" cast on here, it's at least Will Keen who plays the advisor to Ar-Pharzon, Kevin Eldon as Narvi, and then Jim Broadbent who is voicing an Ent.

Overall another great ep and now the wait till next week. Do wonder though if they decided to give us a 3 ep premiere since a lot of the elves' storylines weren't in episode 2.3 and we would've went a week without them on here.

My reactions to Evangelion, episode 15: Lies and Silence

Before I begin, I was thinking about it this morning and I'm wondering if NERV is indeed trying to bring on the apocalypse (and to create an Eden for fetus Adam to live in) and the Angels are in fact the good guys trying to stop them. There's a lot of talk about saving humanity but it kind of seems to me like the second impact was due to humans killing an Angel, who then exploded? It makes me wonder what kind of research they were doing on that Arctic base (Antarctic?) Idk, but to me it seems like humanity as a whole has not been in danger from the Angels: it's just NERV. But I'm also kind of hung up on the Instrumentality part of the Human Instrumentality project. Instrumental for what?

Anyway, I'll keep wondering on it, but I'm going to start the episode.

Oh, okay. So it sounds like the Human Instrumentality project is about trying to find kids to pilot the Evangelions. That makes sense. They are the instruments in piloting the Evas. So perhaps Adam has been genetically engineered to be the perfect pilot.

So I am thinking there are perhaps multiple people inside Rei (this is also influenced by the fact that when I was looking up to see if ep. 14 was a recap episode I saw it mentioned that Rei is schizophrenic. However, I'm not sure I believe she's actually schizophrenic. I kind of think she is actually harboring another person and that it's Shinji's mother.)

OHHHHHHHHHHHHH ADAM IS THE FIRST ANGEL?

I had kind of wondered if there was an Angel inside the facility. I had initally assumed there would be one kept top secretly but they kept saying how they needed to catch one for research so I was like, "Oh, maybe not, but that's weird that they wouldn't have on after all this time." Especially with everything they seem to know about them. I figured it had to be they either created them or were studying them.

Okay, let me see if I can organize my current theories:

Rei might be an imprint Shinji's mother - possibly she's an android, possibly just a person with an especially impressionable brain. But I think that there's Rei the girl and then also the additional personality/ies if this is the case.

NERV is going to perhaps force human evolution using genetic engineering. Or, they might be planning an apocalypse. The Angels may be trying to stop this from happening. I really have no idea.

I just considered that given the ages of the children and the timeline of the second impact, is it possible that children who were in-utero/ conceived around or after that time have some kind of Angel influence within their DNA? Like some kind of radiation? Could this be why only kids can operate the Evas? Are Angels neccessary for the next phase of whatever NERV has planned?

[guy who has said that i'm glad i watched this live every week voice] i'm rly glad i watched this live, but this time its bc. i think there is something so truly and genuinely special abt the way that the theories abt bravern himself evolved week to week.........like at first everyone was like Well maybe he's an evil alien who is gonna Kill isami. and then everyone was like Well maybe he's a death drive and isami is his lulu. and THEN everyone was like Well there's still some knuth in there so. but none of that was the case!!! none of that was true!!! it was literally just this one guy and all of the love he has and Absolutely Sucks Shit at expressing!!!!!!! and i just. idk. that hits me rly hard that maybe it was percieved as sinister at first just cause it was a little Off but in the end it was something really really sweet :] it also just feels like yet another way of the show doing its "we know audiences aren't willing to accept optimism at face value these days" schtick like they mentioned in that one interview and just. showing how bravern himself evolves in the eyes of the viewer. it's rly special to me :]

i know bravern speaking german in ep2 was a nod to the translator he uses on superbia later but. what if someone loved you so much they became german (if i ever mention kyouji again in a bravern context just fucking shoot me)

WILD to watch the finale and then see the isami hate train take off FKSJDHFJ cause i feel like i adored him so much in that ep LMAO. my guy really felt every emotion known to man in the span of 22 minutes and then started makin gup new ones. he's very human!!! and i love that abt him!!!!

although some takes. i'm ngl. i know we joke abt subtext and cowards but it becomes less funny when the subtext that is there is missed LMAO

sorry to keep bringing up ep4 but i think its SO interesting how like. the way that bravern seems to helps isami out emotionally in that ep actually ends up not helping him in the long run aswell? like getting to know all those ppl care abt him is good ofc but it also feeds Directly into his hangups in ep5. and i remember being a little confused as to Why that was the case on first watch cause ep4 was So abt his beef w lulu (FLSDKJFH) but w the smith being a human again thing in the end it makes. so much more sense!!!!! i can't wait to rewatch the show w it still fresh in my mind and find even more!!!!!!

and omg the beef with lulu. literally nothing is funnier to me than "we are gonna have one Rival Fight in this show and that position is gonna be filled by isami and smith's fucking KID" SOBS. "What's wrong with this computer?" you asked in frustration, holding up the screen for Dick to look at.

"Sorry, Y/n." Dick said. "There seems to be some trouble." he explained while trying to fix the problem on the screen.

"So, why don't you bring coffee for both of us while I try to solve this problem?" he suggested.

"That sounds great, Dick. Thanks." you replied as you left the room. While waiting for the coffee to brew, you wondered if Dick still remember what happened between you and him a month ago. A blush crept across your cheeks when you thought about that memory. You shook your head, trying to clear your thoughts, and focused on your task.

When you returned ten minutes later with two cups of coffee, Dick was still trying to fix the computer. He didn't look up as you set the cups down on the desk. "This isn't working, Y/n." he complained as he stood up. "We need to buy a new laptop or something." he said with a frown. You sighed heavily and rolled your eyes.

"Like bossy was dying to buy us new machines." you snorted sarcastically.

"Why can't this man let us do our job with actually working machines?" he asked exasperatedly.

"I'm not sure." you responded with a shrug. "Let me give him a call." you added after a few seconds.

"Sure." Dick answered, smiling slightly.

You picked up the phone and dialled your chief's number. You waited for a couple of moments before someone answered. "Hello?" he asked.

"Chief! Hi, it's me, Y/n. We are having some problems here. Our computers are not working prop-"

"Can it wait? Can it wait till tomorrow? I'm kinda busy right now."

"Right, yeah, sorry." you said awkwardly. "Just wondering if we could order another set of laptops tomorrow. I think it will take-"

"Yeah, yeah, I'll see if I can get you guys something tomorrow. Now go do whatever it is that you need to do. Bye." he hung up on you before you could finish speaking. You frowned in annoyance. That guy. What kind of job is he even doing? you thought angrily. You turned around to face him, raising your brows questioningly.

"Well? How was he?" he smirked.

"Ugh!" you growled, rolling your eyes. "He wasn't very helpful." you said as you sat down in front of his desk. "What does he think we are doing in here everyday? I have work to do!" You started ruffling through the papers on his desk, looking for some paperwork.

"Y/n, relax." he chuckled softly. "Calm down." He walked over and sat next to you.

"Why is he even our chief? He does what exactly?" you grumbled. "I hate him."

"Come on, Y/n," he laughed. "Calm down."

"I hate this city sometimes Dick. When you're involved with some bastards you can be even a king." you scoffed.

"Gotham wasn't so different actually." he stated.

"If you expect me to feel surprised then you're gonna be disappointed." you replied sarcastically.

"Me too." he replied and finally turned to you, placing his hand over yours on his shoulder. You gazed deep into his eyes. You could tell that he was thinking about something else. Something really important to him. He seemed to be struggling with something. You gently moved your hand from his shoulder and rested your hand on top of his.

"What's wrong?" you asked softly.

"Don't you feel hungry too? What should we eat?" he replied, changing the subject. You raised your eyebrows at him. "What?"

"Should we eat burgers? What do you think?" he asked with a small smile. You grinned back. Obviously he didn't wanna tell you about what bothers him.

"How about Mexican?" you suggested.

"Sounds good." he replied enthusiastically. Both of you got up off his desk and headed towards the door.

i should probably wait for tomorrow's episode to get the full picture and closure and the promos might have misled me into thinking we have lesser of Patpran than there actually is BUT P'Aof ive got a bone to pick with you.

He literally created a brand new problem (Pat jumping to help Pran without letting him do it on his own) something that wasn't an issue in the OG show but it now is (which makes sense when you think about it especially given their impending separation because of singapore and both of them needing to learn to be separate individuals) and then solved another that didn't need to be solved, like wth was that about Pat "admitting" that he can't live without Pran, as if its brand new information, as if its something that he's insecure about, as if he's worried that its only him and that Pran won't feel the same way?

we're literally talking about the guy who was ready to throw away his family and friends and halt his entire education just so he could run away and live with you in a zero waste village away from all that he knew and was familiar with?? the same guy who said "i can be anywhere as long as im with you", the guy who has always been there alongside him, fighting WITH him, FOR him...Pat KNOWS that...and Pran knows that Pat knows that....thats what the whole ep11 was about! Them being the most SOLID, in love, 'if he goes down i go down with him', we're a team couple-couple there ever was! Both of them know of how much the other loves them, how their love is so strong it can withstand anything! they know that, their lives, their words, their actions, their choices have proved that!! so the grand declaration in this episode is basically the same thing we already know, we got NOTHING new.

at the same time the conflict that was actually relevant, that Pat thinks Pran needs his help when really Pat needs Pran to need him, he wants to always be the one to help him and Pran's need to do things on his own and prove to himself that he could do shiz by himself like he had all through his life before Pat and him met in college again. Pran needed to do things alone for himself and Pat needed to take a step back and let him do his own thing knowing that he got this. That was the conflict and that's what should have been addressed and instead we got a whole episode of unnecessary confusion and separating the two couples and i cant believe the realest 2 convos happened when Pat and Pran weren't even in the same premises.

and don't even get me started on Pran feeling insecure that Pat was the one sacrificing the most like hello? they both have sacrificed equally, its just Pat is the more vocal and ever ready to express affection with words and very obvious actions so from an outsiders pov Pat looks like he's carrying the relationship which he is not and YET like hello Pat is the one who feels that he can't admit that he cant live without Pran? the same guy who yelled out his love in front of the entire architecture branch? the same guy who wanted to flaunt their whole relationship on social media? the guy who from the day he discovered that he had feelings for Pran has almost made his entire personality about being in love with Pran Pat? that Pat?

but also that scene of Pran just looking on as Pat tries to put on the remedy cream bruh aint no way yall playing me Pran would NEVER watch on like that for so damn long without taking a single effort to help like aint no way hello who the hell was calling the shots, was P'aof even around cos if so sir HOW COULD YOU !?

ep 1 was underwhelming but ep2 had so much going for it but then ep3 was so meh and actually sorta undermines the OG by pretending that this "i can't live without you" is a HUGE thing when WE ALL KNEW IT, like WHY P'Aof, WHY YOU DO THIS TO US? Why to Pat & Pran? And pls the way this episode did next to NOTHING for phupha & Tian, its actually insane.

Despite today's disappointment i do (semi) trust P'Aof and i hope he ties it all up as clean as possible tomorrow and if nothing happens i will pretend this whole special was an AU and move on with my life. that being said we better get that finger sucking scene cos baby i didn't watch this special for ALL of that. Except for that scene in the house that withstood the "shake", the whole endeavor added NOTHING to the story of Pat-Pran and i will be mad about this. It's like they made the Taj Mahal and then decided to pour blood all over it and like yeah the blood can be washed away but why tarnish the glorious monument in the first place!?? for whomstttttttttt

- 1st impressions:

I thought having a storyline of a doctor talking with ghosts was weird at first...

But my curiousity got the best of me and I started liking the show

- The Charapters:

• Charlie Harris (The main charpater): I love him sm, he's definitly one of my favorites, his style reminds me of Conrad Hawkins (The Resident), I loved how he tries to help the ghosts.

• Alex Reid (The 2nd main charpater): I love her sm and I feel so bad for her😭, in just 5 seasons she lost her brother, colley, mother and husband.

She might be a little annoying sometimes, but she's fine overall

• Joel Goran (The fan favorite): For some reason, he reminds me of Douxie Casperan (Tales of Arcadia), but I love him sm too, its sad that he had to die on "All the pretty horses" (Last ep from S3)

• Maggie Lin: LOVE LOVE LOVE HER SO MUCHH💗🫶🏻! I loved her smm on S3 (S3 Maggie on top>>) She might had left on S5, but hey! She's happy with her gf (Sydney)

• Sydney Katz: Sydney ily but how many times you had to left😭, but I love her sm too!

She might had left for the hundred time, but hey! At least this time she's with her gf (Maggie)

• Shahir Hamza: ONE OF MY FAVORITES!! Has a autistic person, I loved how it was well protacted and respresented during the show!

• Dana Kinney: MY GIRLL!! I loved her so much! She deserved so much better, her and Alex are a inseperable bond>>>

• Cassie Williams: Her charapter develoment>>>, in the last seasons she was amazing!! I loved her energy so much!

Sad to see her go, but at least she's working with her idol

• Dev Sekara: Another charpater who had a incredible develoment, him and Cassie were so cute togheter!

• Asha Mirani: She didn't had alot of screentime, but she deserved so much better, I feel so bad to her

I have nothing to say much about hed since she left during S4

• Kristine Fields (Another ghost speaker): At 1st she was fine...But after her incident she started to be a little annoying and even she went to the point to haunt Charlie during her sugery😭

Charlie's gone, gone in his own series. The series started with him in a coma, ended with him brain dead.

Alex deserves so much better, I feel bad for her...

The hole episode reminds me from "The Long and Winding Road" - The Resident: S5, ep 3 (Trust me, I'm still in denial with that episode after a year ago), but a little bit more extreme...

Overwall, I loved the show sm!! Its sad it didn't got another season but I enjoyed watching it

Random Thoughts about Century of Love ep 1:

First of all, I have to say when I saw the first 5 minutes of the series, I felt like it has the same vibe as To Sir, With Love. Turns out I wasn't entirely wrong because both series have the same director and screenwriter. You can really see they have a unique hand. I'm not really good at talking about the art of filming and it's harder to talk it in another language than my own, but I feel like their type of cinematography is easily recognizable: the color or the light used are very vibrant. It gives an oneiric atmosphere especially when the story was in the past.

So San has lost his beloved love Vad / Wat and he has made a deal with the goddess Niwa to be able to wait for her reincarnation within a century. In exchange, he is afflicted by the power of the five shades stone each night (at midnight). He has to find her before the century end otherwise he will die in atrocious pain. He has been really patient, but unfortunately for him Vad / Wat hasn't reincarnated in a woman. Her reincarnation is a man named Vee and he has been attracted to San from the minute he saw him.

This first episode is here to set the plot and the characters. I'm not crazy about San. I understand why it must be complicated to discover that your long lost love is not the same as she was before. I guess, he never imagined that his love would be a man. I think it's going to take him a while to fully accept the change. Even if he already has erotic dreams with Vee. He would have preferred if he was a woman.

On the opposite side, I'm already fully in love with Vee. He is mischievous and seems to be an optimistic. The story may prove me wrong later, but I'm always drawn to people who smile a lot. We know that some of them hide the worst scars, so it's just based on what I've seen from this character in this first episode. Vee clearly has no problem being attracted to a man he has just met. Good for him.

The rest of the "shaman" family descendants are kinda amusing. We'll see what role they will bring. They made me think a lot of Tinn's family in Laws of Attraction (again same director and screenwriter).

I'm also really happy to see again See Parattakorn who plays Ton, Vee's friend. I really like his acting game in Laws of Attraction. I wonder if he is only going to play the friend or if he has a bigger role in the story.

Also, is Trai the fiancé of Vad/Wat will be reincarnated too and bring some drama into all of this?! I saw on MDL that the actor is listed with two names, so I may not be wrong and I can't wait to see what role he will have.

Thankfully, we'll have a second episode tomorrow, so I will see where it goes.

Amari's Rap Journey #2: Class Listening Party

Imagine this. It's the day after classes ended, and you wake up at 12 again, and look up around you at the messy-ass room that's been left after a 48 hour work grind. You do two loads of laundry, take a shower, and cook yourself a breakfast, all while watching the time because at 3 p.m... At 3 p.m. is the class listening party.

MIT Building 4 Room 237. You enter the lecture hall at 3:15 and most of the other kids are sitting sporadically in the first five rows. Scoot up! You think, and you sit next to your friend Z in row 2. Scoot up someone says, and I sit in the first row next to Tagoe, a DJ whose energy I'm a fan of [1]. Everyone is in the first two rows now, including Dee-1 from Harvard and two HASS professors that are close to Lupe, and we're waiting for Lupe to walk in and the listening party to start.

Yo... You needed to be there, it was soooo crazy. We started listening to EP after EP, and these people are actually sooo talented. Some industry level sounds, some quirky conceit albums about physics and history, some conceptual ones about being on one long drive or one continuous loop, and one fun Rico Nasty sounding track that was so fye we had to play it three times and mosh.

When we played mine, I was a lot more confident because I'd already played it in front of iHouse before. I hope to never forget the responses of my fellow rappers in the room though.

They were caught by surprise by the trap record for Show Me The Money, Dee-1 looked at me and asked: that's you? They found G-DRAGON funny, and Ally even recognized it was about G-DRAGON before the chorus hit (that's more than I could ask for). Suffolk county water dropped, and Lupe shouted me out after that some of those bars were written behind bars and Ally said she had been hoping to listen to them again. So both of them responded positively, and I'd shouted them out in the beginning of the track. Nomadic Seoul of course was a little quieter until the beginning of verse 2, which I knew was going to get a stronger response. They really liked the bar:

"Now I know better there's more to life than work, in fact life don't work less there's more to life than work."

And the bars before and after. Lupe said the bars were hard. In general I'd been a little scared about being TOO personal in a freakin, class project, but I'm glad I did what I wanted to. Monk said she liked it too, when I saw her in the hallway.

All in all, I really appreciated them all for hyping the EP up, I think I was dapped up more in those 8 minutes than I been in like 8 years. And Dee-1 even bowed at me after, bruh, like I'm such a fan of his Jay, 50, and Weezy track [2]. I can't. He did leave right after, but still??? I'm complete.

Some of the kids didn't want to show their EP's off, but I know know know that showing up was so important to me. That's a value that was always important but really instilled in me by Lupe and this class.

After my UROP meeting I ran into Ally and we went to his office to get feedback right after. I love Ally, I'm a fan [3]. For advice, I asked him to teach us how we should improve in the next three months. The advice I'll record in another post, but it was detailed and I'm so grateful for it. I appreciate Lupe as a teacher so much and after our dinner tomorrow, the class is really ending. It's been amazing!! Now, to take his class next year or not...

> Arnav starts a dangerous game to make Khushi confess first

"If she's not happy, then why is she getting married? Why she took such decision, which she'll regret later? If she's not happy, then why she got engaged?" Here his words are only targeted to Khushi. Not to him tho. Why?Because he knows he won't get married to Lavanaya.

"Who told her to accept? Anyone forced her to a man she doesn't love?" See, he already understoods she wasn't getting married out of love. He's angry because she refuses to take action and confess to him ! "You would rather marry a man you don't love that confess your feelings to me ?! Why ? How dare you ?!"

Arnav tries to read Khushi's worry. "In what way is she forced? Is it something she can't free herself alone ?"

But then, he heard her fiance gave her a gift she accepted, implying their relationship wasn't that bad as he was trying to guess, which angered him. This is represented by this scene of him trying to stop himself from walking on that bracelet Khushi received from her fiance on purpose.

"Tell your fiance next time to not give you cheap gifts" "Don't you dare accept the gift of another man, a man you don't even love !"

Since he's hurt by her having that bracelet, for even thinking of marrying another man, ESPECIALLY for not waiting for him (this detail is very important because when they'll get married a second time, she will tell "i'll wait for you", which will make him happy in extreme ways), he's being stubborn and tries to push her to admit everything even with the help of his toxicity !

"-The price of things doesn't matter for me. -It should. Because cheap things don't last long. "It should matter Khushi because his love for you isn't as deep as my love. My love isn't cheap. My love with last for a lifetime and behond."

-Why are you not happy? "Khushi tell me, tell me you want me to set you free, I will!"

-You'll will never understands my happiness. Your bank account is so good but then, why do you look so tense? "When you pushed me away after almost kissing me, where was your worry for my happiness? Why are you worry about my happiness when you're getting married to another woman? Your feeling for me don't even compare to your love for Lavanya. Right?!"

"Instead of asking me, you should ask yourself why are so unhappy?"

Here I think she isn't insinuating that he's unhappy because of her. She thinks he loves Lavanya (more precisely, that he loves Lavanya but still at the same time has feelings for her too). She is talking about him refusing to let go of his hatred that glued him in his past.

She tells him that she's happy, liying just like he did the night before. And she breaks his heart just like broke hers.

And now, he just wants to hurt her back by ordering his engagement to happen sooner. He doesn't mean a word as always. But his actions are gonna be even more cruel in the next eps.

He won't let himself d*e from the pain alone, he'll try to drag her with him and try absolutely everything to make her confess, even taking the risk of hurting her in a such deep ways in the process that she'll start to think of him as a man unworthy of her love. Khushi never ever felt he was unworthy, she was always feeling the one unworthy of him.

"Either this engagement takes place tomorrow or never." Arnav's engagement with Lavanaya only happened because of Khushi. It was his way too push her away to prove he could control the imbalance between them.

"I got engaged just to prove you you can't take all the power over me but I didn't mean a word. You didn't even gave me a chance to fix the whole thing, you didn't even wait for me?! But here you are being engaged to a man you don't even love? Well, if you want to play this game, I'll show you how a better player I am than you, I won't suffer alone Khushi." SOOOO TOOOOXIIIIIC UUUUUGH GIVE US A BREEEAK !! 😭

His will to get officially engaged is just because of Khushi, to prove her he can be happy without her. To prove to her and himself that he can control the imbalance he thinks there is between their love for each other (still in this moment, the imbalance triggers him in horrific ways, he doesn't want to be the one who love the other more, he doesn't want to be like his mother).

Arnav makes sure to lock eyes with Khushi before leaving, he might have done it unconsciously but I think it was his way to challenge her again, to make sure she knows he's doing it because she refuses to confess first.

Khushi thinks he's doing it just to prove her the feelings he has for her still don't hold importance. She has no idea about his fear of the imbalance thing.
