I'm downloading Titus onto my steam deck, I will stop dragging my feet and try and actually play SM and not just watch bf play it before SM 2 comes out

Torneskär play testing

September 18th 2024

Hello everyone!

The past couple of days I've been exporting lots, putting together a save file, and trying to hunt down the package files needed for Torneskär (let me know if I missed anything) and the day is here for me to share my custom world with you all.

Torneskär is definitely still a work in progress, but I invite you to try it out with the disclaimer that only the small one of the two main islands can be considered even close to done. This is my first every custom world and some of my first custom content (very simple overrides and conversions, mostly), but I have play tested this world quite a lot myself and haven't come across any issues yet (except wonky routing that I am still working on). I ask that if you run into any issues, to please let me know, so I can trouble shoot and find a solution before I eventually release this world for everyone to download.

More play testing will be necessary later on, but this is just to catch errors at an as early stage as possible.

Let me know if you want any sims3pack files converted to package files, or if anything seems to be missing. Errors, glitches, lots that seem too small to properly navigate, or floating objects. The list goes on. Anything and everything, please send me a message about it.

I'd love to receive constructive criticism, or if you have any ideas or wishes or just stories you felt inspired to tell with your sims, please share. I'm eager to see what you all create with Torneskär. Please tag it #torneskär so i can find it, or tag me directly ^^

going through my dashboard this seems to be an unpopular opinion, but... i'm glad they're still working on ts4 instead of moving on to next big sims game, because despite everything it still holds the title of my favorite game ever and i'm not ready to emotionally invest in some new game yet. Sure, i'm not on board with every new thing that i've heard about recently, but overall i still think the game has so much to offer and so much potential - at least to me - that i'd hate to see it buried yet.

#I always pretty much completely stopped playing the previous games whenever a new sims published #i still sometimes pick up ts2 or ts3 but after a while a always start missing features from ts4 so i can't play for long #i dunno maybe i'm just their exact target group because most of the things sims announces still excites me

Hiya!

Tomorrow it will be Weird Sims' 11 years and 5 month birthday!

I never got to celebrate it at 11 years, life has been so busy. I don't get much free time these days to keep my Simblr as ~☆Fresh☆~ as I'd like with new content.

But i do definitely have more weird Simsness on the way, I just need to find the time to get it all queued up!

Never thought I'd have a Tumblr account that I'd consistently keep up for 11 years! I was in my early 20s when I started this, and I'm thrilled there are still some ppl out in the Simblr-verse who enjoy this blog. Y'all keep me going!
