Happy Holidays from the Old Man and the Smithy! 🎄✨Just a simple little thing I threw together lol but I had to do something fun for Christmas!! The thought process behind this was basically that the rest of the boys decided that their oldest member would be a fitting Father Christmas, and the shortest hero would be a fitting Yuletide Elf. After a bit of begrudging, Time and Four finally caved and let Wild take a picture 😂

Anyways, I hope that everyone has a blessed Christmas and a wonderful New Year!! Thank you all for your encouragement and support; I couldn't do this without you! All of you have been such a gift to me, and I am incredibly grateful for that!!

i'm running late on getting this out, but i'm still reeling over the results of the @kirbyoctournament! i can't quite believe that starstruck- my pint sized waddle dee- made it all the way to the tippy-top against such intense competition. the roster was full of such an incredible selection of wonderful, loveable, and creative characters!

it's heart-warming to know that people out there really love my little wanya and her story, and i'll carry that with me always! 🥰💖

i am so grateful to everybody who voted for and supported starstruck (and i!) throughout the tournament, and i'd also like to give my thanks to everybody- moderators, participants, spectators- who made this community event as cool and fun as it was!! i met many new people and learned about so many wonderful new characters!

this piece in particular is dedicated to and features all of starstruck's competitors in the tourney, starting with jakkle doo from round one, right up to valfrey in the final round. it was a fantastic honour to compete against all of your OCs, and i look forward to hopefully seeing them around plenty more in the future!!

“Ow!” Eddie freezes, clutching his makeshift spear tighter. There’s another boy. In the water, where there was nothing a moment ago. Another boy with dirty blond hair and a pink mark near his left eyebrow. “That really hurt,” the boy says, rubbing the top of his head. “I’m sorry about that. I didn’t mean to,” Eddie babbles. “Not to be rude, but, uh, where did you even come from?” “Oh, right. Hi! I’m Evan!” The boy declares enthusiastically, like that clears everything up. Then he smiles. Eddie thinks he might faint.  “Oops,” Evan schools his expression immediately into something more neutral and less toothy. “I have to remember humans don’t have those.” Remember? Is this something that happens often? “Definitely not. Why do you?”   Evan looks around, nervously checking for something – Eddie has no idea what – before he tilts backward with ease, pillowing his hands behind his head.  It takes a moment to register what’s different about him. The question is on the tip of his tongue to ask when it sinks in. Starting at Evan’s hips is a glittering blue tail and translucent fins where legs and feet should be. No way.
