on a mission or smthn, having to deal with a terrible singer (who’s clearly never met anyone honest) as they belt out a song for one reason or another

sabine, whispering: hey, ezra.

ezra, clearly suppressing a wince as he listens: yeah?

sabine: this one’s for you.

ezra: *doing that lips-pressed-together thing, eyes beginning to water, refusing to even give her a smile*

Some of you (mistakenly) believe that the only Sabezra content is in the first of the Star Wars Rebels novelizations. Today I will show you that you must also study Droids in Distress and Battle to the End.

Droids in Distress begins with a quick recap of events chronicled in The Rebellion Begins, including this iconic scene in which Sabine drinks the sacred elixir known as “blue milk.” Young Ezra can’t take his eyes off of the lovely Sabine, whose name he finally learned. In his desperation to learn more about this fair maiden, our hero is motivated to crawl into a vent like the Loth-rat he is. (Behold what a young man might be inclined to do in the name of love.)

Though they have only just met, Sabine takes up for Ezra.

(That’s right, girl! Take up for your man.)

Ezra is studying Sabine’s facial expressions and what they mean because he still can’t keep his eyes off of her.

Keep trying, Ezra! (Don’t worry. He won’t give up.)

(See? I told you he won’t give up.)

���Best friend?!” So that’s what they are calling it now. 🤔😂 (Now ask yourself, how much has Sabine’s and Ezra’s close friendship been emphasized in the Ahsoka show and by the actress who plays Sabine at Galaxy’s Edge lately?)

Yeah, Kanan and Hera are “best friends,” you know, who made a baby together. 🙄 😂
