Can you write where the reader walks into James room and he's crying and its the first time shes seen him cry so she comforts him pls xx
thank you for your request! fem, 1.2k
James’ house is a sanctuary to everyone he’s ever met. There are scratches on the wall by the door where Sirius has thrown it open, long deep welts of ruin under a drunken hand, two best friends laughing to the bedroom where they share a bed. You’re used to Sirius by now, an extension of James you love and make room for, but waking up to the heir of the most noble family in London sleeping off a hangover with his face buried in your boyfriend's shoulder still surprises you. His snores never change.
Then there’s Remus, the sweetheart, tracking dirt into the living room because he so often forgets he’s wearing shoes, distracted by a book or a thought he shares in half smiles knowing James will listen.
You’re everywhere. In photos like the rest of them, in your coat on the hook, your clean washing on the stairs, your shoes in the bedroom cupboard. There’s a red smudge of your lipstick on the wall at the top of the stairs where James wiped your bottom lip and then used the wall to hang over you, kissing. He keeps meaning to paint over it, you know. He says the same thing every time you bring it up, a laughing, “I’ll get to it, you thing!”
You’re used to smiles and sounds here. You aren’t acquainted with this. Sniffles from the bedroom, long, stringing gulps of air and the answering sob. It makes your chest flip. James hasn’t cried in front of you in a year of dating and two years of knowing him. James doesn’t even get pissed off unless it’s for somebody else. Something awful must’ve happened. You rush to find out what.
In the bedroom, James is just sitting there falling apart. Just, sat on the bed, his head in his hands and his shoulders shaking like an awful jagged up and down, like he’s hurting; the shock of it is in every inch of movement. James is beautiful in everything, skin and hands and dark, dark hair, but he’s hurting now as he drags fingers wet with tears through frizzing curls. He must have heard you coming up but he can’t stop, lifting his chin, an apology twisted in his mouth that he doesn’t say aloud.
“Lovely, what happened?” you ask, sure you’re gonna fall through the floor. “What happened? What–”
You aren’t giving him time to answer. You need to know.
“No, it’s alright–”
“It’s not alright,” you say, standing in front of him with stiff arms. “What happened, James?”
“It’s okay.” He cries a little, sniffs, looking up at you with swimming eyes. “It’s alright, I’m just– it’s just– well, it’s just everything, I suppose, but it’s…” He looks down, his mouth twisting again in an apology you don’t want to take. He shakes himself.
“James, what’s everything?”
“Silly stuff.” James takes your hand. Telling, that a boy who’s spent his entire life looking after the people he loves would attempt to comfort you with tears still hot on his cheeks.
You look down at his long fingers.
James plays piano. He learned your favourite song for you before he’d ever asked you out, and when he’d played it for you, he’d played so beautifully you felt sick for days, felt sick every time you thought of him, but in the moment he’d laughed at your teary eyes and pressed a quick kiss to the top of your head. Lovely girl, he’d said, laughing, I won’t play it again if you’re gonna cry like that.
You figure he must want comfort as he gives it, wrapping your arms around him to steer him toward a soft kiss, his hair like strands of satin under your lips. “Nothing that upsets you like this could ever be silly.”
He pushes you away. Not without love, but pushing away regardless. He stands in the space you leave and wipes his cheeks with the backs of his hands. It’s nearly like he’s dancing. Just the way his arms move. But then he drops them and turns away from you, your heart plummeting to your stomach.
“James.”
“It’s not like that. I was hoping I’d be done before you got home. Should we go out for dinner or something?”
“James–”
“What?” he asks, smiling, at odds with his sad eyes. “Love, it’s really fine, I’m fine.” Love. You let out a long breath, chest a cold ache slowly warmed by his gaze. There’s care for you in every eyelash, but it still shocks you when he hugs you. “It’s okay. Sorry I scared you.”
James. “Fucking hell, Jamie, I’m not scared, I want you to tell me what’s wrong so I can fix it for you.”
He chokes on breath. “I’m fine,” he says. He doesn’t believe it himself, a crack running straight through his words. “Sorry,” he says, sickly, kissing the top of your head as you’d kissed his.
Clearly he’s not going to let you be the one domineering the situation, but that’s okay. He can kiss your head and hold you on the edge of too tight. You slip a hand under the edge of his T-shirt to stroke his back, until your hand is numb to it, and he’s sagging against you heavily.
“You’re really not fine, I can see that much.”
He’s quiet, but you can tell there’s something he wants to say.
“But that’s okay,” you say, hand clasping his back . You pat a steady rhythm there as he sighs. “It really is. I don’t know why you think you have to be finished crying before I get home, but that’s not true. You can cry. You can cry buckets. Please don’t pretend you’re not upset because of me, I’d feel so bad.”
Something hot and wet touches your forehead. “M’sorry.”
“Nothing to be sorry for.” You pull back to pat his cheek.
James stares at you. Tears well in usually warm eyes and get caught in the wet hedge of his lashes. You try to wipe them away before they can fall —you don’t wanna see your sweetheart crying.
“Don’t frown,” he says softly.
“I’m trying not to. Here, let me,” —you wipe his cheeks with your sleeve, voice a muttering thing as his skin pinks beneath your touch— “just get that there for you. Your eyes are red, Jamie, I hope you haven’t been upset for too long.”
“No, uh. No, not too long.”
“Can you please tell me what’s wrong? I’d like to know.”
James’ face presses to your neck in seconds. He pauses, and then he sobs. That’s more like it. You stand there in the bedroom until your legs are stiff, and then you only move to lay him down in bed to be your little spoon. “It's not fine,” you say, your arm around him, the other playing in the swirl of his parting, “but it will be. You’re really too handsome for all these tears.”
“You think I’m handsome?”
He sounds sweet when he’s trying to make you laugh. You reach over him to kiss his hot cheek.

summary: the differences are starting to show ow that oscar is going to be present in mia's life, and in turn, yours.
pairing: oscar piastri x ex! single mom! fem! reader
part one | part two | part three
୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅
You were terrified. The past few weeks had been… strange, to say the least. You’d seen Oscar every single day of the last month. He moved his entire life to London in the span of a week for Mia. It reminded you of the teenage Oscar who would move mountains for you, and you were glad Mia got that side of him too.
It had been a whirlwind of emotions since Australia, and you’d watched every Grand Prix since then from your London house. Mia adored it. You told your family and friends about Oscar coming into Mia’s life, and there were varying degrees of support, but Teresa, your closest friend, hated Oscar. Every time she saw him it was either a roll of the eyes or a passive aggressive comment, but he took it all in good faith and just smiled and continued talking. It was a lot though, you’d been Oscar-less for 4 years, just seeing him through a screen, and now he was coming to your apartment everyday with a coffee for you, and something for Mia. Now, you two texted daily. Now, he was there again, and it freaked you out.
୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ
Oscar sat outside in his car, psyching himself up for the conversation that was about to happen. How the fuck dop you tell a 4 year old that you’re her dad and you didn’t know about her for 4 years, and now you want to be in her life every single day? How do you apologise for the missed time? How would he apologise to you if she got mad at you? What if she hated him forever and he lost her and you? How could he prove to both of you that he was serious about you two?
Beth: You’ve been MIA since last week, what’s up Osc? Call me please xxx
He cursed himself and the universe's impeccable timing. Beth was the girl he’d been seeing for a few months, and like all the girls he’d dated since you, bore a striking resemblance. He didn’t know what to tell her, how to explain it, or if he even should. His first thought was to ask you what he should do, what you’d be comfortable with him telling, and then he realised he would then be admitting to ‘moving on’, when he really only wanted you. He was at a stand-still in his brain, and muted her messages before going up to your front door.
“Hey,” you smiled, opening the door to him, Mia on your hip. The picture in front of him made his heart ache a little bit. He could imagine himself coming home to it every night, after every race, for the past few years. “Come in.”
“Thanks,” he smiled, walking inside and taking Mia out of your arms as she reached for him. She softened the ache a bit. “Hey Mia.”
“Hey Osc!” she bundled into his arms, squirming around. She directed him to her playroom where they spent about 3 hours together, before you came in to set her down for her nap.
“Do you want to…?” you offered, gesturing to her bedroom. “I can show you, just in case you need to know one day.”
He swallowed the lump in his throat and followed behind you. “Yeah, after you.”
He watched as you gently tucked her in, a soft smile on your face as she looked at you with all the love in the world. He could’ve sworn his heart was trying to claw itself out of his chest to get to you two, but he swallowed back the tears, and left the room behind you, after kissing Mia on the forehead.
“She really likes you,” you pointed out as you made him a coffee.
“Thank you for letting me be part of this,” he nodded. “It means… everything to me. She does.”
You nodded. “You’re a natural.”
He took the cup you handed him with a grateful nod, and you sat across from him. “How are you doing?”
You stared at him like a deer in headlights for a moment then looked back down at your own mug. “Can I be honest?”
“Of course,” he assured you. “I want you to be.”
“I’m a bit… overwhelmed? If that’s the right word. This is all just… a lot,” you explained. “It’s just… I was a single mom for like 4 years, and now I have you and I guess I’m just still getting used to it. Not that it’s bad or anything, it’s just… different. But Mia and you get on so well, and you’ve been so kind throughout this whole process, so, thank you for that. It’s just-”
“Weird?” he offered, and you chuckled.
“Weird,” you confirmed. “What about you?”
“It’s been weird, obviously. But, I adore her. I knew I had cared about people before, but this is just… different. I didn’t think I could care about someone so much after you-” He cut himself off with a sigh. “I’m sorry-”
“It’s alright,” you shook your head. “I get what you mean.”
He nodded. “She’s wonderful. She’s so smart. She’s so funny. She’s so… you, honestly,” he chuckled.
“She’s a mini me that looks like a mini you,” you laughed. He’d missed that laugh. He’d missed you.
He nodded. “Well, yeah.”
“How does it feel to be leading the championship?” you asked, sipping your tea.
He didn’t even think about F1 unless he was in the car. He just raced, and then rushed home to see you and Mia. He shrugged. “I haven’t really thought about it,” he breathed out a long sigh. “I guess it feels good?”
“You haven’t thought about it?” you gawked.
“I usually rush home after races,” he admitted. “I like to talk to Mia about it.”
“Oh,” you looked at him, then back down at your mug. “Well, y’know, we could come to the next one, if you want her there.”
“I’d want you there too,” he took your hand. “Both of you.”
You nodded. “We could be there.”
“I’d like that,” he smiled, his thumb running over your knuckles. “I’d like that a lot.”
“Alright,” you smiled flatly, but he could see something in your eye, something that made him think he was doing something right. “We’ll make it happen.”
୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ
“Oscar… is my dad?” Mia questioned. “How?”
“Well, Oscar and I used to be in a relationship, and we loved each other very much. And we broke up before I knew I was pregnant with you, and I didn’t have a way to tell him you were on the way, but we saw each other in Australia and I told him then, and that’s why he’s been coming over so much,” you explained calmly and gently.
She nodded for a moment. “That makes sense. Why did you two break up?”
Both of you cringed and he turned to look at you.
“Sometimes people may be the right fit, but it might just not be the right time in their lives for them to be together. That’s what happened with me and Oscar,” you spoke slowly, basically grasping at straws to think of something to explain your very complicated break up.
Oscar tried not to let himself get excited at the fact that you still thought he was right right person for you, but it did make him fell quite good about himself. Right person, wrong time? He could work with that.
“So do I call Oscar; dad, or Oscar?” she asked, glazing over your explanation.
“You can call me whatever you want,” he smiled. “Oscar, Osc, dad, anything.”
She nodded, studying him again. “I think I’ll call you dad,” he decided. “I like you a lot dad. Are you going to stick around now?”
He chuckled. “I’m going to stick around until the end of time Mia,” he promised. “Swear.”
“And you and mom are going to get back together?” she asked sceptically.
“Umm,” he thought about it for a moment. “We don’t know.”
“Well you should. Mommy has been single since I was born, and she needs someone who’ll love her,” she blurted out as you covered your face with your hands.
“Mia,” you groaned.
“What?! It’s the truth!” Mia shrieked.
“Anyway,” you changed the topic. “Do you have any other questions?”
“Not really,” she admitted. “Am I going to have to go between dad and moms house?”
You looked at each other. “We haven’t really talked about that yet,” Oscar admitted. “Is that something you don’t want?”
“No. It seems like a lot. I want both of you in the same house with me,” she shook her head.
You turned to each other again. “Well, we’ll talk about it,” you smiled back at Mia.
“Can dad stay over tonight?” She asked. “I want to watch a movie with him.”
“Of course he can sweetheart,” you smiled and pressed a kiss to her forehead. “I’ll get dinner started.”
“I’ll clean up the playroom!” She called out as she ran in the direction of her room.
୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ
“That wasn’t bad,” he announced as he chopped up carrots.
“Not at all,” you nodded, your mind a million miles away.
“I thought she’d take it worse,” he sighed. “Oh, and I really don’t have to stay over tonight-“
“Nonsense,” you brushed him off. “We have a spare bedroom. It’s all yours.”
“Thank you, for all of this,” he smiled. “She genuinely means everything to me.”
“That makes two of us,” you smiled, a genuinely, real smile. The ones he was so used to back in the day.

FROM EDEN | Chapter Two (2/8)
Oscar Piastri x Francesca Gold (OFC)
Summary — Francesca Gold is an introvert with a quiet life and a Youtube channel where she talks about books, drinks too much tea, and rarely ever shows her face. She prefers it that way - tucked into her London flat with her cat, Henry, and safely hidden behind a screen.
Oscar Piastri is a Formula 1 driver. Fast-paced, high-stakes, always on the move. He hasn't read a book in years, but he's watched every single one of Francesca's videos. Just for the sound of her voice.
Following her on Instagram was a moment of weakness. He didn't think she'd notice.
She did.
Chapter Warnings — Mentions of agoraphobia + severe social anxiety, depressive episodes + very brief references to skin-picking. Mental health shaming.
Notes — Lots of dialogue + messages in this one. Next chapter will be posted on (or before) Thursday!
The family group chat was already at thirteen unread messages by the time Francesca mustered the courage to look at it.
Mum: June flights are cheaper if you book now xx
Izzy: I’ll be home that week too! Dad said he’s going to do a BBQ. I’m bringing Zack.
Mum: It’s been ages, Fran. Everyone wants to see you.
Francesca read the messages slowly, one by one, her gut curling with that all too familiar guilt.
She should want to go home for the summer. She hadn’t seen any of them since Christmas. She missed them, in her own way. But the thought of travelling, especially alone — of trains, of planes, of conversations she couldn’t quietly log off from — made her want to disappear.
She opened the notes app on her phone and rehearsed her response:
Hey, I don’t think I’ll be able to come this summer. It’s a really bad time for me, mentally.
She stared at it. Deleted it.
Retyped:
Hey, I’ll have to see. Work is really full on right now.
That one she copied and pasted into the chat. Sent it.
Immediately, three little bubbles popped up. Her pulse spiked.
Mum: It’s only one weekend. I’m sure your little channel survive.
Izzy: Oh come on, Francesca. It’s one weekend. Dad misses you.
Francesca locked her phone and turned it screen-side down on her bed.
Henry stirred where he was curled up against her side, sensing the shift in energy.
She pressed her hand into his soft fur and whispered, “You’d hate it. Too many people. Not enough snacks. Mum will get hay fever and and blame her runny nose on you.”
He blinked up at her. Loyal. Unbothered. Her co-conspirator.
She picked up her phone again. She could feel the heat rising in her chest — a familiar, creeping anger she usually buried so deep that it didn’t even get a name.
Not today.
Her thumbs moved before her brain could stop them.
Has it ever occurred to you that you could come here instead?
She blinked at the snappiness of her outburst, her breath catching in her throat.
Then:
You’re always asking me to come home and expecting me to be okay with the travel. But none of you have been to London since I moved here. It’s just always assumed that I’ll suddenly be fine travelling by myself. Which I’m not.
Her heart pounded. She hovered over the message, the way she always did.
And then she hit send.
Almost immediately, panic flooded in behind the adrenaline.
Too much. Too harsh. She could almost hear the stunned silence that would follow.
The chat stayed still for a minute. Then two. Then—
Mum: We’re just trying to help you, sweetheart. You need to learn how to push yourself out of your comfort zone. You’re an adult now.
Izzy: Lol. Yikes.
Francesca sighed and closed her eyes, pressing her head back against her headboard.
She didn’t regret letting herself say it. Not really.
Even though it hadn’t seemed to make a difference.
She didn’t need to push herself. She had boundaries and that was okay.
Henry nosed her hand with his head, and she scratched behind his ears absently.
“I know,” she murmured. “That could’ve gone better. But still.”
She thumbed through her apps again, not to the chat this time, but Instagram. She found herself staring — almost absently — at Oscar’s profile, her thumb hovering over the follow button.
It wasn’t the same, she told herself. But somehow, it still felt like the same kind of bravery.
She pressed her thumb down and watched the icon shift from Follow to Following.
There. Done.
Her heart beat a little too fast, but she didn’t unlock her phone again. Not yet.
She glanced at the time and let out a quiet, slightly disbelieving laugh.
It wasn’t even eleven a.m. and she’d done two scary things.
She was unstoppable.
—
iMessage — Katie & Francesca
Katie:
You followed him back.
Francesca:
should i have asked for permission first?
Katie:
You’re sassy today
Francesca:
i had to interact with my sister
Katie:
Ew.
Like she did every Friday night, Francesca ordered a takeaway — Thai, because she was predictable — and curled up with Henry while she worked through her notifications.
She responded to YouTube comments first. Then Instagram. Then TikTok.
“Loved this rec!”
“Adding this to my TBR.”
“You have the coziest voice, please do ASMR.”
She typed thank yous, sent emojis, liked everything in sight.
By the time she opened her DMs, she was comfortably full and lulled into a rhythm — heart-reacting sweet messages, replying to the odd question about where she got her bookshelf lights.
She didn’t expect to see it.
Didn’t expect him.
An unopened message. From a verified account. Sitting halfway down the screen like it had been waiting for her.
Instagram DM's — Oscar Piastri > Francesca Gold
Oscar Piastri Thank you. Are you a McLaren fan?
And then a few hours later, he’d followed up with:
I just wanted to say I really liked your last video. It made my flight way less boring.
She froze. Actually froze.
Her eyes scanned the messages again, and again, as if they would change.
And then, with dawning horror, she realised what had happened.
She’d sent it. In the process of clumsily exiting out of the app, she’d sent the message congratulating him on his podium.
And he’d seen it.
And responded to it.
His response hadn’t been there yesterday. Had it?
She wasn’t sure. Her inbox was always a bit of a mess, but still—
She let her phone drop to her lap, stared at the ceiling, and let out a sound that was somewhere between a squeak and a yell.
Henry looked up from his loaf position and stared at her.
“I’m fine,” she whispered. “I’m totally fine.”
She wasn’t.
She was an idiot. A fat-thumbed idiot.
She didn’t reply straight away.
Instead, she opened the message thread again. Then again. Then three more times, pacing between her couch and the kitchen like some kind of Victorian ghost haunting her flat.
Henry trailed after her for the first few laps before giving up and flopping down with a lazy sigh.
One sentence. Barely even a thing. But it was him, telling her that he’d enjoyed her last video, after asking her if she supported the team he drove for, and that changed everything.
She drafted five different replies, none of them good.
Too casual. Too try-hard. Too weird.
She threw her phone across the room, onto the couch, and stared at the wall for a full minute before groaning into her hands.
Eventually, after she’d stress-eaten three mini chocolate muffins that she didn’t even like, she picked up her phone and typed, quickly this time, before she could overthink it:
Francesca Gold Thanks. I’m glad I made it easier for you.
And I don’t know much about McLaren. Just cheering for you, I guess.
She stared at it.
It was true. It was honest. It didn’t sound like she wanted to marry him, probably.
She pressed send.
Immediately put her phone face down.
Then picked it back up, just to check.
Then turned it off entirely.
Henry meowed like he disapproved of her cowardice.
She glared at him. “Shut up, Garfield.”
He glowered at her.
Katie had arranged for an Uber to pick her up right outside of her flat and bring her straight to the office. No walking, no public transport, no unnecessary variables. Just door-to-door.
It was the kindest version of a nightmare.
Francesca perched on the edge of the back seat, hands curled in her lap, her breath shallow despite the driver's quiet humming and the soft instrumental music playing through the speakers. She had her AirPods in but wasn’t listening to anything — she just needed a barrier between her and the world.
Every red light made her stomach twist tighter. Every bump in the road sent a flicker of nausea through her chest. It felt ridiculous — it was ridiculous — but having self-awareness didn’t make it any easier.
She glanced at her phone without thinking.
And then blinked at the notification she was met with.
Instagram DM's — Oscar Piastri > Francesca Gold
Oscar Piastri I feel special. And kind of like I need to point at Lando and laugh at him
A small, startled laugh escaped her. It sounded foreign in the confined space.
Another message popped up, and her eyes went wide as she realised what was happening; they were both in the chat at the same time.
Oscar Piastri But now I have to ask — favourite driver who isn’t me?
A tiny smile pulled at the corners of her lips before she could stop it. Her fingers moved quickly over the screen.
Francesca Gold I’n very new to the sport, but I have a few favourites, I guess.
Oscar Piastri How new?
She bit her lip.
Francesca Gold
Watched my first qualifying the day after u followed me.
Lol
Oscar Piastri
No way
Really?
That’s really cool, actually.
Did you enjoy it then?
The tightness in her chest eased. Not completely. But enough.
The hum of the road didn’t feel so sharp. Her jaw unclenched.
She leaned her head against the window, let the cool glass ground her, and typed back:
Francesca Gold Sure.
My cat wasn’t so keen.
The three little dots appeared instantly.
And suddenly, the office didn’t feel quite so far away.
Oscar Piastri
The ginger one?
Francesca Gold
Haha. Yes. His name is Henry.
Oscar Piastri I like cats :) Sry, gtg. Being glared at for being on my phone in a meeting.
Francesca stared at the message, her fingers tightening around her phone like it might float away if she let go.
He was messaging her when he was supposed to be working? Like, at work-working. With people. In a meeting. While probably wearing a team shirt and doing serious, important racing driver things.
Her heart did this awkward little somersault in her chest.
Francesca Gold
Have fun.
The Uber rolled to a stop outside the sleek glass building, and Francesca's heart started thudding again, loud and clumsy in her chest.
But before she could spiral, the door swung open and Katie’s familiar voice filled the car.
“There she is,” she said brightly, reaching in with one arm to haul Francesca up like she was a tiny dog and not a grown adult. “I was starting to think you’d made the driver turn around.” She leaned between the front seats and said, “Cheers, mate. Have a good day.” To the driver.
“I considered it,” Francesca muttered, tucking her phone into her coat pocket and willing the blush on her cheeks to cool.
Katie narrowed her eyes the moment they stepped onto the pavement. “Why are you blushing?”
“I’m not—blushing,” Francesca lied, immediately and unconvincingly.
Katie stopped walking. “You are!”
Francesca shot her a warning look but couldn’t help the small smile that tugged at her mouth. “You’re being so dramatic.”
Katie just grinned, triumphant. “I’m right. You were blushing.”
Francesca shook her head, her fingers twitching inside her coat sleeves. Then, quieter, she said, “Thank you. For organising the car. And… for understanding. About all of this.”
Katie blinked at her like she’d just announced that she was moving to the moon.
“Babe,” she said simply, “you don’t thank people for turning on a light in the dark. It’s just what you do.”
Francesca swallowed hard.
And then Katie, who never could leave a moment un-teased, added, “Now will you please tell me what made you blush?”
She exhaled slowly, pressing her knuckles to her lips.
Then, deadpan, to Katie: “He said he likes cats.”
Katie blinked. “He? Who’s he?”
Francesca just smiled down at the pavement.
Katie’s eyes narrowed. “You’re going to be unbearable, aren’t you?”
“I’m already unbearable.”
“Well. At least you’re self-aware.”
It was late, and the empty pizza box sat open on Francesca’s coffee table was like a monument to their gluttony. Henry had given up trying to sneak crusts and was now dozing on the back of the couch like a furry gargoyle, his tail flicking every so often.
Katie wiped her hands on a napkin and leaned back with a contented sigh. “Okay, we should eat like this every week. I don’t care if it gives me cheese-induced nightmares.”
Francesca laughed softly, tucking her legs beneath her and cradling her thin-stemmed wine glass close. “Hard agree.”
Katie nodded, then tilted her head, studying her. “How are you doing? With everything, I mean.”
Francesca took a breath. Then another. She watched the wine swirl in her glass, the way the lamplight caught it and made it look warmer than it was.
“I’m… okay,” she said eventually. “Some days are harder than others. Today wasn’t the worst.”
Katie didn’t press. Just waited.
“I still haven’t been out on my own for months,” Francesca added, quieter now. “And I get panicky just thinking about having to travel home. I hate how heavy it all feels, sometimes.”
Katie reached for the bottle and topped up both their glasses, like that was the kind of answer that required more wine. It probably was.
“It’s okay to feel heavy,” she said. “You’re the one living with it. You can feel however you want.”
Francesca’s eyes stung.
“I know,” she whispered. “It’s just exhausting. Like, I feel like I’m never doing enough.”
“Don’t say that,” Katie said firmly. “You’re successful. You’re kind. And you’re working really damn hard to get better. I know you are. Not just the therapy, but the medication, and the whole posting more of your face thing? Don’t think I haven’t noticed.” She said. “I think you’re really bloody brave.”
Francesca smiled, brittle and small. “Tell that to my family.”
Katie rolled her eyes and raised her wine glass with a thin, vexed smile. “I hate your family. Let’s toast. To boundaries.”
Francesca clinked her glass with Katie’s. “To wine.”
They drank in silence for a beat, and then Katie smirked. “And to Oscar Piastri’s stupidly pretty face.”
Francesca choked on her sip, her face heating immediately. “God. I can’t even look at a picture of him properly without blushing.”
“So don’t look. Just keep messaging him and pretend he’s a normal boy with a normal job and a slightly ridiculous gluten allergy or something.”
Francesca frowned. “You think he has a gluten allergy?”
She hadn’t seen any mention of one on his wikipedia page.
Katie shrugged. “It feels like something rich men have.”
Francesca giggled, shaking her head at her best friends ridiculousness.
“Don’t think I didn’t notice how you keep checking your phone every five minutes.”
Francesca scrunched up her nose in embarrassment and let her head fall back against the couch. “I’m pathetic.”
Katie grinned. “No, you’re not. But if you’re going to keep dm’ing Australia’s golden boy, I feel like I deserve to live vicariously.”
“He’s not—” She stopped herself, huffing out a breath. “He’s just… nice. And funny. And—”
“And gorgeous,” Katie supplied with a smirk.
Francesca covered her face with her hands. “He’s so gorgeous. It’s actually rude.”
Katie let out a delighted cackle.
“But,” Francesca added, quieter this time, “he’s from another planet. Like, look at my flat, and look at me. And then think about his world. I can’t even make myself go to the shop most days, and he’s flying around the world, at the top of his sport, walking red carpets, getting papped at airports…”
Katie sobered a little, her eyes kind. “Yeah, but he followed you. And he’s still here.”
“I know,” Francesca whispered, resting her glass on the edge of the table. “But what could actually come of this? Realistically? His fans already hate me. Twitter made that very clear.”
There was silence for a beat.
Then Katie shrugged. “Okay, then maybe it’ll mean nothing. Or maybe… you just keep talking and see what happens. You don’t have to map out the next ten years right now.”
Francesca gave a small, tired smile. “I wish I could think like that.”
“You will,” Katie said confidently, nudging her shoulder. “Maybe not today. But eventually. And until then, I’ll be here to eat carbs and overanalyse his emojis with you.”
Francesca chuckled, leaning into the familiar comfort of her best friend.
After Katie left, Francesca moved around her flat in a soft, post-wine haze — putting away clean glasses, tucking the pizza box into the bin, flicking off the overhead lights in favour of the warm lamplight she always preferred. Henry had already curled up in his usual spot at the foot of her bed, purring faintly. The perfect white noise.
She changed into an oversized T-shirt, made herself a cup of peppermint tea she’d probably forget to drink, and slid under her duvet with her phone in hand — mostly to scroll aimlessly until she eventually fell asleep.
Instead, she found a new message waiting.
Instagram DM's — Oscar Piastri > Francesca Gold
Oscar Piastri Hi again :) sry for earlier Do you have any book recs for a birthday gift? It’s for my sister. I forgot to plan ahead. And you seem like the right person to ask.
Francesca stared at the message, then at the time: 11:42 PM. Her heart did that familiar, silly twist, and she pulled the duvet a little higher around her.
Francesca Gold hi. it’s fine any idea what she likes?
The reply came almost immediately.
Oscar Piastri Umm. She reads a lot Sometimes romance. Sometimes thrillers. She’s smarter than me. Is that a genre?
Francesca let out a fond laugh, covering her mouth so she wouldn’t startle Henry. She could picture him typing, awkward but earnest, and it was too endearing for her peace of mind.
Francesca Gold not a genre but i can work with that
She paused, fingers hovering over the keyboard. There was something oddly intimate about choosing a book for someone else. Like passing along a tiny piece of yourself.
She thought for a moment, then started typing again.
Francesca Gold okay — can i send you a link to a list?
Oscar Piastri Yes. 100%
Francesca Gold *goodreads list named ‘Oscar’s Sister’*
Oscar Piastri Found them all on amazon. Thank you! Should i tell her that her birthday books were chosen by her favourite booktuber? Haha
She stared at the first message.
There was no reason for her to be surprised. He was a professional athlete — of course he had money — but the list she’d thrown together in less than five minutes had at least twenty books on it. Twenty.
And he’d gone and bought them all.
She shook her head, incredulous.
Francesca Gold if you want what if she doesn’t like them?
Oscar Piastri Figured if she doesn’t like some, she’ll just lend them to me
Francesca when was the last time you read a book? be honest
Oscar Piastri Pre-prema days probably
She stared blankly at the words.
Francesca Gold i have no idea what that means. sorry
There was a short pause, then:
Oscar Piastri Cute :) Before I joined F1, I was in the lower formulas. I was with a team called Prema. That’s the last time I remember reading a book.
Cute. He’d called her cute.
She reread the message at least four times, just to be sure she hadn’t hallucinated it.
Nope. Still there.
She was blushing so hard it felt like her face might actually combust. It was ridiculous. Entirely inappropriate. She was a grown woman — a grown woman who’d once had a panic attack in a Tesco Express and was currently hiding under a weighted blanket like it might save her from the implications of the word cute.
This was uncharted territory. Dangerous, flirty territory. And the worst part?
She kind of liked it.
—
A week later, Oscar sat in front of the McLaren media backdrop, posture relaxed, eyes half-lidded beneath the bright spotlights. The interview had been going on for ten minutes. Same questions. Slightly different wording.
And then:
“Last one for you, Oscar — what’s something you’ve been enjoying lately? Doesn’t have to be racing-related. Music? TV? Podcasts?”
Oscar paused for a beat, lips twitching. “There’s this YouTuber I’ve been watching. She talks about books.” He shrugs, playing it off as casually as he can. “It’s kind of calming. I’ve been into that lately.”
He moved on to the next question, pointedly ignoring the deer-in-headlights stare from Lando.
—
Francesca hadn’t tuned in to watch any of the driver press conferences. She had too much editing to do and not enough time to get it all done before her deadlines.
She was knee-deep in timestamps, captions, and a particularly annoying bit of background noise she couldn’t quite scrub out when her phone buzzed once.
Then again. And again.
And then Katie texted her in all caps.
iMessage — Francesca & Katie
Katie: OSCAR. MENTIONED. YOU.
Katie: LIKE OUT LOUD. IN FRONT OF ACTUAL PEOPLE.
*link*
Feeling numb, she clicked the link and watched the 10-second clip.
And then she watched it again.
And again.
“There’s this YouTuber I’ve been watching. She talks about books. It’s kind of calming.”
No name. No direct reference. But the moment hung in the air like a secret someone had shouted through a megaphone. She almost laughed at the expression on Lando’s face — pure astonishment.
Her Instagram notifications were already spiralling. A few thousand new followers. Two brand accounts she’d never heard of trying to DM her. And someone had already screen-recorded the moment and posted it to Twitter.
“BOOKTUBE GIRLIE IS BOOKTUBING INTO OSCAR PIASTRI’S HEART”
“he’s so real for watching a comfort girl on youtube before bed”
“get her name now i want to see her tiktoks before the algorithm ruins it”
Francesca blinked at her phone.
Oh. That was… better than last time, at least.
Then again, they had no idea who she was yet. They were just blindly trusting their idols opinion. As soon as they looked further into her channel, watched a few videos, they’d realise that she wasn’t exactly… normal.
She swallowed thickly.
Her phone pinged with a message.
Katie:
You okay?
Francesca:
Yeah
Instagram DM’s — Oscar Piastri > Francesca Gold
Oscar Piastri Sorry. Hope that wasn’t weird Reckon I should’ve checked with you before I did that
She inhaled sharply, her fingers hovering over the keyboard.
Francesca Gold bit overwhelmed tbh but i like that you like my vids enough to actually talk about them
Oscar Piastri I really do Do you have any new ones coming soon? I'm travelling a lot over the next few weeks
She buried her face in her hands, sighing loudly.
Because she was smiling.
—
She wasn’t expecting it.
She’d woken up later than planned, face smooshed into her pillow, hair doing some kind of modern art sculpture around her head. Her phone was tucked under the duvet with her — a terrible habit — and she blinked at the bright screen as it buzzed once in her hand.
Oscar Piastri sent a voice message.
Her heart stopped. She stared at the notification with shock.
A voice message. At 8:13 a.m. On a Friday.
“No,” she whispered aloud, already flailing to sit up, which only caused Henry to jump down from her legs with a dramatic mrrrow of protest. “Henry. He’s sent us a voice note. A bloody voice note.”
Henry didn’t react.
She hesitated for a solid minute before pressing play, holding the phone just close enough that she could hear it, but far enough away that she could easily throw it across the room if she needed to. You know… precautions.
Oscar’s voice filtered through the speaker, low and rough with sleep, the edge of a yawn tangled in his tone.
“Morning. Sorry for the voice thing — texting felt like too much effort and I’m not awake enough to type properly yet. Just wanted to say thanks for the book ideas. She loved them. You’ve officially saved my status as Best Brother Ever.” There was a beat of silence, and then he added, quietly, “Hope you slept okay.”
And the message ended.
Francesca stared at her phone. “No.” She whispered.
Henry, now settled beside her again, chirped.
“No, Henry. You don’t understand. That was his morning voice. That’s like... illegal.” She choked out, feeling like she’d been turned inside-out.
Henry purred and rubbed his head against her phone.
She stared at her cat with bewilderment. “Oh my god. You like him. You like his voice.”
She pressed a hand to her chest and fell backward into her pillows.
“What do I even say to that?” she muttered to the ceiling. “Do I... send a voice note back? No. That’s psychotic. I don’t sound like… sexy. Not in the morning. Not any time.” She panicked.
Henry meowed again.
Before she could do anything, her phone lit up again—this time with a FaceTime call.
“Katie, no,” she groaned, but her thumb betrayed her and answered anyway.
Katie’s face appeared, framed by her usual messy bun and a spoon hanging out of her mouth. “Hey, I’m eating yoghurt and I just had a feeling.”
Francesca stared at her, incredulous. “What kind of psychic yoghurt-fuelled sixth sense do you have?”
“The kind that goes off when you ignore my morning text.” She squinted. “Why do you look like you’ve seen a ghost?”
Francesca wordlessly switched to the Instagram app and tapped to replay the voice note.
Katie leaned in, eyes wide. The moment Oscar’s gravelly morning voice hit the speaker, she dropped her spoon and sucked in a sharp breath.
“Oh my god,” she said, slow and reverent. “He sent you a bed voice note?”
“Don’t call it that.” Francesca hissed, absolutely mortified.
“What else do you want me to call it? He sounds like he literally just rolled out of bed and thought, ‘You know what? Let me send Francesca a little audio kiss to start her day.’”
Francesca curled into a tight ball of limbs. “Oh my god, shut up. He was thanking me for the book suggestions. It was innocent.”
“Babe. That voice was not innocent. That voice had vibes.”
Henry meowed from where he was curled up once again, clearly in agreement.
“Oh god,” Francesca muttered, forlorn at this turn of events. “Even Henry likes him.”
Katie beamed. “Because Henry’s got taste. Also, side note—you need to respond.”
“I can’t respond! What if I sound like a frog? What if I say something weird? I almost told him he has a nice voice and then realised I’d have to move to another country out of embarrassment.”
“If you don’t respond, I will,” Katie threatened, sitting cross-legged in her chair like she had all the power in the world.
Francesca’s eyes widened. “You wouldn’t.”
Katie raised a perfectly groomed brow. “I literally have your login, Francesca. Try me. I’ll tell him you fainted from the sheer sex appeal of his voice. I’ll sign it off with sparkles.”
Francesca gasped. “You are evil. Actual evil.”
“Not evil,” Katie said sweetly. “Just a manager who refuses to let her best friend fumble a flirtation with, arguably, the hottest F1 driver on the grid.”
Francesca hung up on her.
Rudely. Desperately. With the kind of energy reserved for someone trying to escape a burning building.
Then she went back to the Instagram app, thumb hovering over the little microphone icon. She stared at it for a full minute, heart pounding, brain spinning, stomach flipping.
She cleared her throat. Twice.
And then, because thinking only made things worse, she closed her eyes… and spoke.
“Hi, um. Sorry—voice notes are terrifying, but you sent one first, so… fair’s fair?” She winced at her own voice. “Anyway. I hope your sister really did like the books. If she didn’t, that’s totally okay. You don’t have to pretend. I won’t be offended. Probably.”
Her cheeks were on fire now. She forced herself to keep going.
“I also Googled Prema. I knew you’d won F2 and F3, but I had no idea what teams you’d driven for. So…” She laughed under her breath, light and awkward. “Anyway. Thanks for the voice note. You—uh, have a nice voice. Okay. Bye.”
She hit send before she could stop herself, phone clutched to her chest.
Henry turned to stare at her.
“Oh, don’t look at me like that,” she muttered, flopping sideways. “You’d be a mess too if a ridiculously handsome Australian race car driver voice-noted you.”
Her phone buzzed almost instantly, a message that time. Thank god. She wasn’t sure how much more deep, manly Australian accent she could handle.
Oscar Piastri I definitely win for most awkward voice note. Yours was cute. Also, she loved the books. You’re 1 for 1.
She smiled so hard it hurt.
Francesca Gold what’s her instagram user?
Oscar Piastri @hattiepiastri

Tumblr media
happy new year, ig
don’t hold me like you know me
“Remember when you broke up with me and suddenly my instagram feed was all about how you fucked a model?”
Jamie grimaces. “Do you have to bring that up every fucking time we’re together?”
“Yes,” you reply. “It’s funny to me. And it’s my revenge for you being stupid.”
“Pretty sure you and mum are the only two who find it funny,” he grumbles.
You snuggle closer to him. It’s cold outside, but you’re both bundled up and under two blankets. Plus there’s a fire going and sure, it’s warmer inside where your families are, but it’s quieter out here.
You say, “Nah, Simon thinks it’s hilarious too,” and Jamie groans.
“I’m a fucking idiot, okay? I get it.”
Your mum looks out the window and you pretend like you don’t notice. Yeah, you probably shouldn’t be out here with him. But she’s the one whose friends with Georgie and she’s the one who made the plans to spend Christmas together knowing full well what you and Jamie had been up to for the past year.
So she can’t really say anything.
It’s stupid.
It’s so, so stupid. You swore off situationships but apparently Jamie is the exception and you rationalize it by saying you know exactly what you’re doing so it’s fine.
It’s fine.
You’re only here a few days and then Jamie’s going back to training and you’re going back to work.
“Got any plans for the year?” you ask. Jamie shrugs and it moves you around.
“Nah, got some brand deal shit Keeley’s set up but mostly just keep training. Got the fuckin’ World Cup this summer, so…” he trails off.
What he doesn’t say is, so I’ll be near you. You let it hang in the air.
Instead he says, “What about you?”
You watch the flames from the fire curl into the sky. “Yeah, I’ve got a lot going on, I guess. Mostly work. And I’m moving to London in the fall.”
Jamie makes a noise. “Don’t read into it,” you warn before he can say anything. “It’s not for you.”
He sighs. “The fuck are we doing? Shouldn’t be this hard. We both fucking like each other. What if we tried again?”
You laugh. “Jamieee. Absolutely not. We barely made it out last time. I’m actually not sure we did, to be honest. And our mums would be fucking pissed if we messed it up again.”
He’s quiet at that. Too quiet.
“How’s Roy Kent?” you ask in an attempt to lighten the mood.
“Hairy old prick,” Jamie mutters out of habit. “Wants us to fucking win the Prem and the Champions League, like we ain’t fuckin’ trying.”
You laugh. “I’m assuming he’s also thinking about the World Cup?”
Jamie groans. “Don’t fucking remind me. I want to win all that shit too, but Royo’s sadistic. Got us training extra. Beard isn’t any better, either. Always got his nose in some fucking book.”
He’s complaining, but you know he doesn’t mean it. He loves this shit. And you’re glad the team’s stable from Ted’s move back to America.
“Got you something,” he says after a few more minutes of silence. He gently pushes you off him so he can reach into his pocket.
You take the box from his hand and open it. It’s surprising. You’d already finished opening gifts, nothing particularly extravagant, and you certainly hadn’t expected anything else from Jamie. And definitely not as direct as this.
“Jamie,” you breathe, “how did you know?”
He grins as you look up to meet his eyes. “Asked around,” he replies. “Knew you’ve been wanting that bracelet forever and you’re too fucking stubborn to get it for yourself, so.”
He motions for you to hand it back to him, and you do. He takes it out and you extend your wrist. He fastens it gently. “You’ve gotta do more shit for yourself, yeah? Promise me.”
“Maybe,” you whisper, and he gives you a look. “Fine. But Jamie-”
“Kid,” he sighs.
“Don’t call me kid,” you warn. “You’re younger than me.”
“That’s why it’s fucking hilarious.”
“Jamie,” you try again. “Do you actually want to keep doing this? We see each other at the most random, inopportune times then we… you know…” you trail off.
“Fuck,” he interjects and you smack his arm.
Ow, he mouths.
“Look. You never date anyone. Everyone’s always speculating about it, and you never do. And I just wonder- I mean, I don’t want to presume but it seems like-”
“It is,” he says. “Can’t fucking be with someone else when I think about you all the time, can I?”
You wrinkle your nose. “Jamie Tartt. That is the stupidest line you’ve ever pulled.”
He’s already shaking his head before you’re done speaking. “Ain’t a line.”
Georgie looks through the window and smiles at the pair of you. It’s getting colder, and you’ll have to go inside soon, but you want to finish this conversation. You aren’t sure when you’ll have Jamie like this again.
“Why did you break up with me?”
He looks away at the fire, the sky, anything that isn’t your face. “Dunno.”
“Liar.”
He looks back. “You need someone better. I got scared. Same shit as always.”
You wrinkle your nose again. “That’s shit. Try again.”
Jamie toys with the bracelet on your wrist. You should slap him away, you should.
You don’t.
“I did get scared,” he says again. “Fucking… terrified. Been in love with you since I were eight and following you around, weren’t I? Everyone says shit like I don’t know what I’m doing, I fucking need to play the field or what fucking ever, and I guess I… listened. Then felt fucking guilty as shit.”
Neither of you are crying. It’s not that type of conversation.
“So.”
“So,” he echoes.
“We’re getting married,” he comments when you don’t say anything more, and that makes you laugh.
You push yourself out of Jamie’s arms and head to the door. “That’s ridiculous of you to say. And I’m cold. I’m changing and then I’m going out, want to come? Luiza texted.”
Jamie looks at you, and you can tell he’s debating his options carefully.
“Sure,” he finally says, the words puffing out of his mouth into the freezing air. “Sure.”

Trips to See the In-Laws (LS2)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary: In order to save his teammate from an interviewer with not so innocent thoughts, Alex has to reveal that his thought-to-be-single friend, Logan, is actually in a long term relationship.
“Alex, Logan, so wonderful to have you both here with me today. Now that we are rapidly approaching the first race of the season, how are you both feeling? How was both your breaks?”
“Well firstly, thank you for having us. It has honestly been crazy. Break has gone by fast and with all the training we’ve been doing, I honestly feel ready to just jump in the car and start back up.” Logan replies.
It was no secret that Logan Sargeant had been training much more during the off season, everyone had seen how much he had changed. The way the interviewer was staring at him though, as if he was their next meal, was making him shift uncomfortably in the seat.
Alex, being as perceptive as ever, immediately saw the change in Logan’s demeanor. He was confused by it until he saw how the interviewer shifted closer to Logan, eyeing him up and down in a very flirtatious manner. He then chimed in to try and alleviate the tension. “Yeah, busy break but we have been putting in the work and I think we are both ready for this upcoming season.”
“You both look very different from the start of last year. Alex with your hair and Logan has gotten very, very fit.” Dammit, this interviewer really wasn’t going to let it go, Alex thought.
“Um yeah, we are both pretty different looks wise.” Alex weakly responded. What was he supposed to say, the interviewer didn’t exactly ask a question.
“I was in a pretty bad state at the end of last season, both mentally and physically. I worked really hard this off season to improve both of those things and gained 5 kilos. I feel much better now that I am at a more healthy weight and I think it just cements how much more learning and growing I needed last year.” God, how can the interviewer continue to try and eye fuck Logan while he gives such a sincere and vulnerable answer, Alex wonders. He knew he needed to help his teammate and friend in some way, but the idea that came to mind might have some consequences. But surely it was better than the alternative of letting Logan get harassed.
“Well Logan, you took some time to travel a bit since being here in New York” Alex teased.
“Ohhh, where did you go Logan?” the interviewer asked, intrigued at the blush on Logan’s face that had appeared as he picked up on where Alex was trying to go with this.
“Well actually, my girlfriend is originally from New york and still has family that live outside the city so they very kindly invited me to visit them and watch the Superbowl. She wasn’t too happy that I got to see her family while she is stuck in London but also was ecstatic that they clearly like me enough to invite me to visit even when she isn’t with me. It was sweet and such a kind gesture, definitely beats spending that night watching the game in a hotel room alone.”
“Hey, I would have watched with you. You wouldn't have been alone” Alex said, offended.
“Mate, you did not have any actual interest in watching the game.” Logan responded.
“But I still would have kept you company.”
Before the two could continue their fight, the interviewer bursted out a very aggressively asked “Girlfriend?”
The two were quiet then, not knowing what to say. The interviewer wasn’t looking at Logan like a piece of meat anymore, but now he had to deal with this sudden hard launch of his relationship.
“Uh yeah, I have been in a relationship for a while now. Met my girlfriend when I moved to London. We lived in the same apartment and had moved in around the same time. Insane luck, I guess.” Logan answered, still blushing.
“Leave it to Logan to find the one other American in his apartment complex and immediately start dating her.” Alex teased.
“Hey! It was a coincidence and she is from New York while I’m from Florida, they are practically two different countries.”
“Yeah whatever.” Alex rolled his eyes playfully.
The interviewer, now upset at practically getting rejected, stopped asking questions and just watched as the two Willaims drivers took over the interview, rambling, and teasing each other, till it was time to end it.
The interview had immediately gained popularity once it had been posted. Not many drivers hard launch the way Logan did and while Logan hadn't anticipated that this was how his relationship was found out, he did have to thank Alex for getting him out of that situation.

Riley was vibrating with excitement. He paced back and forth along the rock wall, listening to the goats bleeping behind the gate and sniffing the air for a new, distinct smell. He stepped happily over root vegetables not yet dug up from the earth, but steered clear of the herbs and flowers.
Y/n slipped out of the forest, untying her skirts now that she would be free from any incriminating dirt. The last thing she needed was for Simon to discover her previous marriage and ask for an annulment. The thought of returning to London — back to the Hall family — made her skin crawl.
There was the small garden in the back of the house Simon had mentioned vaguely in a letter to her. Walled off by grey stone and with a metal gate to protect from the goats. Something stirred there, whining and jumping. She could see pointed ears float in and out of view as the animal struggled to look over the wall.
She neared close. Simon had not mentioned a dog—
The dog cleared the wall, having slipped its paw in between the stones. A giant mass of brown-black fur hurled itself at her, catching her in the chest and sending her sprawling back into the ground. She screamed, throwing up her arms and pushing against warm fur that ached to get close. The dog licked her hands and face tasting dirt and clean soap as he wagged his tail furiously.
“Riley! No!” Simon dropped the bundle he’d been carrying in the yard and sprinted over, hauling Riley off of his wife. The dog, upon feeling his owner's hand, turned obedient. He sat dutifully, tail thumping on the ground as Simon hurried to his wife. “Are you alright?” He grasped her arms, helping her up.
Hair had been pulled out from her braids, wild and windswept, tracing the length of her neck in a way that had Simon swallowing thickly.
“Come on, let’s get you inside. Riley, stay.”
The dog whined but relented, leaping back over the rock wall with an ease that made Simon sigh in acceptance.
Simon patted Y/n down with little propriety, clearing off grass and dirt and hay from her clothes and from her hair. When she felt his fingers at the nape of her neck she recoiled as though struck and Simon once again felt his stomach sour.
“Why don’t you get cleaned up?” He offered instead of his hand, “I’ll get supper made.” When she hesitated, he murmured, “Please,” so wretchedly that she was almost overcome.
She washed quickly, tying back her hair again with trembling fingers and wondering, once again, how she had come to be here in this place, married to a stranger she didn’t know. She quieted her breathing, controlled the shaking of her hands, and picked up her fear like it was clothing off the floor — something to be folded and hidden where it wouldn’t take up so much space.
“Everything alright?” Simon set bowls of stew on the table, kitchen linen thrown over his shoulder. “I’m sorry about Riley. He knows better than to treat women like that. He just gets… excited.”
“I am alright.”
“Well then, please. Sit.” She obeyed him, waiting for him to take his seat at his table. Together they ate, silverware clinking as the fire crackled and popped softly in the background.
Simon cleared his throat, rubbing the crumbs off his fingers as the meal neared its end. “What do you think?”
“Of?”
“Everything. The house. The food. The dog.” Me.
“It’s all very nice.”
“I’ve kept up the garden, but you can do whatever you want. I remember you mentioning it in your letter.”
“What?” She’d already forgotten exactly what she'd written. Except for of course the one sentence she’d written with a stone in her stomach — Never married.
“Y/n Hall of London, though originally born of Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, where the weather is no better or worse than anywhere else. 25 years of age. Can sew, knit, cook, clean, read, and sing (passably). Would enjoy gardening if given the chance. Of small upbringing. Quiet and of respectable countenance. Never married.” Simon recited the words he’d memorized by heart. “I would like to hear you sing as well… passably, of course.” He added.
The small tick in his wife’s lips was enough to make him smile.
“Your dog.”
“Hmmm?”
“He has a funny name. An…”
“Unoriginal one.” Y/n squirmed in her seat, worried that she’d offended him. But he only ripped the last crust of bread in two, leaving half on her plate and chuckling softly to himself. “I’m not a clever man, and it’s not a clever name, but Riley suited him.”
“It does suit him.” She glanced out at the darkened sky. “Will he stay out tonight?”
“I’ll let him in before bed.” He closed his hand around her wrist before she could clear the plates. “I’ll handle it. Go on to bed.” Y/n froze, hardly breathing as Simon lumbered to the kitchen. He filled the space with ease. Filled the entire house. Filled her eyes. There was no escaping him.
Quietly she disappeared up the steps to the bedroom, feeling her dinner creep into her chest. She swallowed it down. She was married now. There were things that married couples needed to do.
She washed her face. Dragged a clean, damp cloth down her arms and legs. Brushed her hair and rinsed her mouth. Undressed until she was left in only a shift. She sat at her vanity — one of only two things that had been labeled her’s — and waited.
She didn’t hear Simon’s footsteps coming up the stairs and nearly jumped when she caught sight of him in the mirror. It frightened her how silent this man could be. It spoke of dangers she couldn’t prepare for.
He hadn’t meant to scare her, he just… couldn’t help but look at her.
Her hair was undone and he’d never seen a woman undressed before. Never seen such an expanse of smooth skin at the chest and legs. He was suddenly reminded of all the scars that marred his body, leaving ugly raised marks that split down freckled skin like horrid constellations. Some were recent, the product of a knife left the wrong way in the kitchen or a romp through the woods gone awry. Most were older, left by violent hands he had no desire to speak of. He didn’t want her to see them so openly. Not so soon.
“You’re not in bed.” He busied himself at the wash basin, rubbing at his arms and the line of sweat at his neck to keep from looking at her.
Wordlessly, Y/n made her way to the bed, sliding into the side closest to the door and laying very very still. He could have sworn he heard her mutter an apology as she did so. He looked away from her as he changed, and if she saw the scars clawing their way up his naked back, she made no comment on it.
She was horrified. She wanted to look away. To bury her face under the covers and wait for him to come to bed and do what he wanted. But that felt like a mistake in the making. If she was to see him, she may as well see him now. She was prepared to see his mountainous back, the muscles that hid beneath layers of shirts. What she wasn’t prepared for were the lash marks criss-crossing across his back. Scars like those had to ache, even after the wound had long disappeared, puckering and pulling at delicate skin.
When he began unbuckling his belt she did look away, cheeks burning with fearful anticipation. The mattress dipped down with his weight and she became all too aware of the heat he radiated beneath the covers. They laid there for some time, ramrod straight beneath the sheets. Downstairs she heard the soft pitter-patter of Riley’s nails on the wood.
When he reached out for her waist she did nothing but close her eyes, watching only the red flicker of candlelight bounce against her eyelids. His hand was gentle against her hip. Careful. But he didn’t pull her shift up or down as she’d expected, only let his hand rest there, like he was testing the cold of an ocean.
“You’re freezing,” he said softly. And so she was. Her blood had pooled to her heart, hell-bent on protecting such a fragile organ. He covered her with an extra blanket and after some consideration, snuffed out the lamp by the bed.
Now there was another fear in Y/n’s heart as Simon took his place in his bed  that Simon would never touch her. That he wasn’t pleased with her. She’d heard of marriages annulled over less.
“Will you not touch me?” Her voice was thin and reedy in the night.
From within the darkness, Simon answered, “Not until you want it.”
“I do want it.”
“No. No you don’t.”

Secret || Kyra Cooney-Cross
Request | Masterlist | Prompt list
Warning pregnancy, talks of labor and delivery
Summary You and Kyra hide your whole relationship but what happens when you add a new member to the family, could the secrets still remain hidden?
You and Kyra had always been best friends, since birth.
Your mums were best friends and so you and Kyra were immediately best friends.
You did everything together. You played football with each other, you went to school with each other.
It wasn’t a forced friendship though. Your mums had always said that you didn’t have to be friends like they were, but you and Kyra chose to be friends.
When you were both sixteen, you realised that you might’ve been more than friends.
The past few months there had been lingering touches and kisses on cheeks but were close to lips.
You thought maybe it was just you, but when Kyra sat you down and told you her feelings, you just lunged across and placed your lips on hers.
“Be my girlfriend.” Kyra said as you pulled away from the kiss.
“Definitely.” You smiled, Kyra bringing you in for another kiss.
Your relationship got stronger and stronger.
Kyra was your soulmate and you were hers.
And the reason why it was so strong was because you kept it a secret. You told your family and friends but kept it from the world, and your teammates.
Your teammates just assumed you were the bestest of friends and they never really asked if there was anything more.
The next few years sped by. You and Kyra had moved to Sweden together, playing alongside one another at Hammarby as well as the Matilda’s.
Near the end of the season, you tore your ACL.
You were running down the wing and fell, clutching your knee in agony.
You knew exactly what it was, and your suspicions were confirmed after an MRI.
Kyra was so so good, she was there every time you needed her.
You needed a drink, Kyra was there to get it.
You needed to go somewhere, Kyra was there to help you.
It was just an ordinary injury until a few weeks in.
You were lying on Kyra’s chest, watching a movie.
The character in the movie had just given birth and you figured it was the perfect time to ask Kyra something.
“Ky…” you began and she hummed. “Do you see us having a baby in the future?”
“Of course. I see us having three children. Two girls and a boy.” Kyra responded, a smile appearing on her face as she seemed to look into the future.
“Would you have a baby now?”
“I’d have a baby anytime, as long as you’re the baby’s mama.” Kyra told you. “It would be perfect time to have a baby. You’re going to be out for nine months anyway.”
“That’s what I was thinking. I’d love to have a baby with you Kyra.”
“We’ll have a baby then, love.”
“I love you so much, ky.” You said, lifting your head to look her in the eye.
“I love you too, Y/N. So so much.”
“Ky, what if it’s negative?” You asked her as you stood in the bathroom, the test sat face down on the counter.
“It doesn’t matter if it’s negative. We can try again.” Kyra said, comfortingly rubbing a hand down your back. “I’m gonna turn it in three.”
“3,2,1…”
“You’re pregnant!” Kyra exclaimed, enveloping you in a hug.
“We’re gonna have a baby.”
“We’re gonna have a baby.” Kyra repeated, dropping to her knees and lifting your shirt up to reveal your still flat stomach.
“Hi, bubba, I’m your mummy. Me and mama love you so much.” Kyra whispered, Your heart melting at the sight.
Kyra stood up, enveloping you in another hug.
You hugged back, your whole world was complete.
After the season at Hammarby, you and Kyra made the decision to leave.
You went back to Australia for the World Cup, Australia placing fourth.
But during the World Cup, the thought of where you were going next lingered in yours and Kyra’s minds.
The both of you had been offered contracts by many different teams but none from the same team.
After the World Cup had finished, you finally made your choices.
You’d be going to London.
Kyra would play for Arsenal, and you’d play for Chelsea.
It wasn’t ideal. You both wanted to play together and certainly not for rival clubs, but you had to do what was best for the two of you and your baby girl.
Still, nobody knew about the pregnancy apart from family.
It was a massive secret to hold, but you at least wanted that bit of privacy with your daughter before introducing her to the mayhem of the world and to her aunties.
Chelsea welcomed you with open arms.
Emma and the medics knew you were pregnant, they had to.
So you explained to Emma you didn’t want any of your teammates finding out until after the baby was born and she understood so she allowed you to stay at home on maternity leave until you were ready to come back.
You were now nine months pregnant, your daughter expecting to arrive any day now.
Although Kyra was adamant of staying with you, you forced her to go to training, not wanting her to miss a whole training session just because you were heavily pregnant.
Anyway, with how comfortable you daughter was in your stomach, there was no chance of her coming.
Boy were you wrong, as soon as Kyra closed the front door, a contraction hit.
You shoved it to the side, thinking it was just a braxton hick.
But just after an hour later and your waters broke, you knew you had to call Kyra.
Kyra picked up her phone straight away.
She was in the middle of the changing rooms getting ready for training.
“Hi, baby.” She whispered so no one heard the pet name.
“Ky, my water broke.” You told her, her jaw dropping.
“What? Okay, I’ll be ten minutes. I won’t be long, baby. I promise.” Kyra said panicking, gaining the attention of almost all her teammates.
“Woah, what’s wrong Kyra?” Alessia questioned, seeing a very panicked Kyra packing her bags and taking her boots off.
“My girlfriend, Y/N, she’s in labour. Fuck, why won’t this fucking boot come off. Her water just broke.” Kyra explained, not knowing the whole team heard.
Kyra ran out the changing rooms and into her car, immediately speeding out the car park.
She pressed the phone next to your name on the car screen, hoping you’d pick up.
“Hi, love.” Kyra said, taking a deep breath knowing you were fine.
“Hey, ky. How much longer will you be? I just want you here.” You said on the verge of tears, breaking Kyra’s heart.
“I won’t be long, baby. I promise. Five minutes. Keep me on the phone.”
As soon as Kyra arrived home, she helped you get in the car, grabbing the bags and driving to hospital.
She must have broke several different speed limits and probably parked in a disabled spot, but you were safe now at the hospital and that’s all that matters to Kyra.
You were already far into labour when you arrived at the hospital, your daughter clearly eager to meet you sooner rather than later.
Kyra stayed by your side the whole time, rubbing your back and doing everything you wanted her to.
When it was time to push, a sigh of relief left your mouth.
After half an hour of the most dreadful pain, your daughter was born.
Her cries were like music to yours and Kyra’s ears.
“Hi, baby.” You said through tears as you looked at your newborn.
Kyra cut the cord and the nurses soon took your daughter away to be checked over.
Everything was perfect, she was perfect.
Kyra carried her over, her small body swaddled in a blanket and a hat placed over her tuffs of brunette hair.
Kyra handed her over to you, your baby melting into your touch.
“Hi arlo, hey baby. Arlo Skye Cooney-Cross.” You said, Kyra humming in agreement.
When Kyra looked at her phone for the first time a few hours later, she was faced with the her mistake.
“Baby?” Kyra began and you hummed, watching a sleeping arlo. “I kinda told the team about you and arlo. I was rushing in the changing rooms after you rang and Alessia asked what was wrong and I said that you were in labour. It was an accident and I think Caitlin and Steph heard and—”
“—Ky, baby, it’s fine. It was bound to come out at some point. Sam keeps questioning me on why im not at training or playing so I was going to have to tell her at some point. Tell Caitlin and Steph to come here. I’ll call Sam.”
Kyra nodded, quickly messaging Steph and Caitlin to come to the hospital, you doing the same with Sam.
An hour later, a small knock was heard on the door and Kyra opened it with arlo in her arms.
Audible gasps from Sam, Caitlin and Steph were all heard.
“Hi. Oh, who’s this cutie?” Steph cooed, the three of them crowding round Kyra.
“This is Arlo, mine and Y/N’s daughter.”
Steph and Caitlin had already put the dots together due to the incident in the changing room but Sam had no idea.
“What!” Sam exclaimed, looking round the corner of the room to see you smiling at her.
“Surprise?”
“Is this why you haven’t been playing?” Sam asked, looking at arlo.
“Kind of. I did actually do my ACL and then we did ivf and I got pregnant.” You explained
“We’ve got another pest on our hands now.” Steph joked, causing everyone to chuckle aprt from Kyra.
“I’m not a pest!”

the forgotten girl (1)
posted this originally on my old account. will be posting twice weekly :)
Tumblr media
Emily Scott, sister of legendary lionesses Jill Scott, has died at the age of 21. Wife Amelia Scott-Higgins in intensive care.
Police have confirmed that Emily Scott was murdered in her family home over the weekend, her wife, Matilda’s star Amelia Scott-Higgins is in intensive care after sustaining life threatening injuries.
Waking up in a hospital bed, wrapped in bandages and in heaps of pain was not exactly how I expected my day to go but here we are. I don’t remember much. I remember going home after training, I stopped to get dinner, chicken carbonara and garlic bread from our favourite Italian restaurant and then flowers from the corner stand that Emily was obsessed with. I was already late so who cares if I was a little extra late.
I remember the front gate being open, which is never normally the case, I remember the front door being unlocked but closed, again not normal but sometimes Em is in a rush when she gets home. As I took my shoes and coat off and wandered down the hallway, I didn’t notice the guy standing behind the door, or the guy on the couch, or Emily in the back room tied to a chair. I didn’t notice any of it. The only thing I noticed before it went black was the two wine glasses, one tipped over and smashed, the other full.
Chelsea FC superstar, Amelia Scott-Higgins has QUIT mid season.
Where is football superstar Amelia Scott-Higgins?
Moving to Barcelona was the best thing I could’ve done. No one knows me,no one knows what happened or who Emily was. I am invisible. As soon as I could, I quit, left England, deleted all my social media and changed my number.
The rehab was incredibly hard. That’s to be expected considering I have multiple stab wounds to my stomach, my leg cut up, bruises covering every part of my body. I was still me though. Maybe not on the surface but deep down I was. I missed Emily everyday, I missed our life together, I miss the little things.
My apartment was empty. Nothing on the walls, plain furniture, it looked more like a show house than something someone would actually lived in. It didn’t bother me, it made my brain have to work less. All I did was rehab, surf and doom scroll. I came across the Manuelas instagram page, a gay bar in Barcelona. From what I’ve heard it’s incredibly popular but I’ve never been. They had a shirt available, “lesbian services”, after inquiring they allowed for me to pick it up.
I was meeting someone called Olga, slightly worried as I had no idea who she was, I let it play out.
“Hola! Are you Amelia?”
“Hola, yes I am.”
“Perfect! I’m Olga! Let me take you inside and you can get whatever you want. They said you’ve paid so you can get anything.”
Stickers, hats, shirts, they had it all. I grabbed one of everything and then had a chat with Olga.
“You’re not around here are you? Your Catalan and Spanish is good but the accent is a bit weird.”
“Oh nah. I’m Australian. Lived in London for a few years but I’m here now.”
“Oh wow! How long have you lived here?”
“3 years now. It’s beautiful. I don’t get out much but I’m trying to get out more.”
“What do you do for work? If you don’t mind me asking?”
“Uh um, I used to play -“
“Amelia? Is that you?” Keira Walsh and Lucy Bronze. Right in front of me. I haven’t seen them for 3 years, purposely ignoring all of them and essentially falling off the face of the earth.
“Amelia! What are you doing here? Give me a hug!”
“Hey guys. Long time so see.” This is not what I wanted. More and more people started surrounding us.
“Holy shit. That’s Amelia Scott-Higgins! She’s been MIA for so long. I miss watching her” the short one with dimples tried to whisper, it didn’t work.
“Dude she used to be so good. What happened?” Her taller companion asked next.
“That’s enough you two. She has ears and can hear you idiots.” Alexia Putellas. 2 time Ballon d’or and 2 time pain in my ass. “Hola Amelia. How are you?”
“Fine thanks Alexia. And you?”
“How do you all know each other? I am very confused here.” Olga spoke up.
“Mil used to play for-“ Alexia started to say
“We are old friends!” This is why I don’t leave my house.
“I need to go. I have things to do. Olga thank you so much for all this. If I owe any money let me know. Alexia, girls, it was nice to see you. Good luck this season.” Turning as quickly as I could to escape.
“Milly, wait.”
“Kei, don’t. I’m fine. Everything is fine.”
“Please can I have your number or something? It’s been 3 years and you disappeared.”
“Give me your phone and I’ll put it in. I’m not good at replying. Bye Kei.”
3 years since I stepped foot in England, 3 years since I buried my wife. 3 years since I’d spoken to my friends. 4 years since Emily died. 4 years since I played football, 4 years since I felt normal.

Sunrise~ Tyler Owens x Fem! Reader
Summary: The curious case of the tornado wranglers, down to earth, girlfriend.
A/n: I just watched Twisters and am in love. Right now Sunrise by Ryan Bingham is my favorite song so here’s a little one shot inspired by it.
Warnings: Language, implied smut
Tumblr media
Everyone’s called you crazy ever since you were born. The people in your small Texas town said you were the wild child, your parents had four boys and when their baby girl came around, she had a mean streak just like her brothers. Ten years old and standing in an empty corn field, looking at the thunder heads forming above you, hot and muggy air gusting against your skin, the crack of thunder didn’t scare you, you were utterly curious and amazed. You’ve known storms since you were a babe, you remember the shrill sound of the sirens going off and your mama screaming for you to come inside. Your family was in a panic, you remember your daddy letting the horses loose and the way the cattle ran. That funnel touched down and prayers were prayed, you watched from the bathroom window despite the way your mama dragged you away.
It was beautiful, so utterly terrifying in the distance, a force of straight power.
You were hooked.
Telling your parents you were going to the University of Arkansas to study meteorology was a good idea in theory until they told you becoming a weather girl was a sweet job.
You told them about storm chasing and your mama almost had a stroke.
But you’ve worried everyone your whole life, only you would choose something so crazy.
You met Tyler your sophomore year when you had the same class, your energetic personality hid the fact you were a nerdy kind of cowgirl. The two of you quickly became best friends, despite his cocky personality. You formed a dare devil connection, you were the call he made when he got a lead on something.
Graduation came and you said you were going back home, he hated that idea.
“Come with me.” He said.
“Where?”
“Anywhere, everywhere.”
It’s hard to say no to a man with puppy dog eyes.
Somewhere between gathering a crew up from all over the boons and adopting a one eyed dog you found stranded after a storm in Little Rock, the two of you fell so deep for each other, it hit harder than any storm you experienced.
Here you are now in Oklahoma, cutting through fields in Tyler’s red Ram truck. “Lilly, talk to me.” You call over the radio system on the dash, looking for what data the girl in the vehicle following has. In the backseat, Boone, the right hand man, is recording like always, talking to the followers.
“Welcome back guys, we’re currently back at it again in the Oklahoma plains. This beauty we’re going into is gaining speed, turning into something good. What are we thinking, Tex?”
You look to the camera and smile. “You know, I’d like to call this an easy F2 but the strong updraft we’re getting here could push this baby into the F3 category.”
Also from the back seat, Ben, the London journalist asks to explain what you just said.
The rain cap starts and muddies the earth, the truck drifts as Tyler maneuvers it greatly. You pull your sunglasses off and lean forward to get a better look at what you’re driving into.
“What are you thinking, darlin’?” Tyler asks, seeing the way you evaluate the area.
“Take a left, it ain’t gonna hit the tree line, see the way the wind shifted?” You instruct.
“Yes ma’am.” He nods, giving you one of his perfect grins before making a sharp left.
Ben makes a sort of strangled cry of fear as he gets tossed around in the back. You, completely nonchalant, chewing on a Red Vine, turn to look at the Brit.
“Ben, baby, how you feeling back there?” You ask, pointing something else out to Tyler.
“Oh I’m bloody great.” He lies before getting knocked into the door again. You laugh. “Man, I love this guy.” You declare, finding him so amusing. “Let’s keep him, Ty.”
He rolls his eyes at you, making you scoff. You look at the dog in your lap who’s wearing a tiny helmet with the words ‘Killa’ written across the front. “What you think, Rocky? You wanna keep Ben?”
The dog lays his head down and places his paw over his small snout.
“Rude. Ty, Rock used to agree to everything I say, now you’ve done gone and brain washed him. Poor fella.” You pout before yelping in surprise at the way Tyler drifts into a spot. He grips the radio, calling for the convoy to assume their positions.
“Sorry, I’m no expert but it looks like the twister is going to roll right over us.” Ben says as everyone buckles their harnesses.
“You’re exactly right Benny boy.” You say, opening the center console and placing Rocky inside his designated safety seat. “We need to be in its path so the data bugs we’ll launch have enough wind speed to reach the height needed. Put your harness on and you’ll be about as secure as a pistol in a PTA Mama’s purse.”
Ben looks to Boone in question. Boone just shrugs. “At some point you get used to all the odd shit she says.”
Tyler cranks the E brake, then looks at you with a smirk. “You wanna touch my joystick?” He ask, motioning to the control stick that has the button to activate the drills that will anchor the truck into the ground.
“I love it when you talk dirty to me.” You scrunch your nose, pushing the button.
The truck is secured, you’re all buckled in tight, now you have to focus on when it’s the perfect time to launch the processors. Things are blowing against the windows, Tyler’s laughing and Boone is howling into the camera, showing the viewers what they see.
“Tell me when.” Tyler says, and as thick water drops pummel the windshield, you stay silent, waiting…watching.
“Now!” You shout and he presses the button that activates the hydraulic opening lid to the tub in the truck bed, the small bug sensors fly out and are carried up into the funnel that is passing over you.
“Breaker breaker, what are we seeing?” You call into the radio, Dexter in the caravan off in the clearing responds. “We got eyes, Tex. Data is coming in clear.”
You shoot your arms up in victory, this was the first time you were launching the 2.0 sensors. “There we go!” You look directly into the camera Boone is pointing at you. “You see that kids? I still got it.”
You watch the storm pass you, the funnel goes into the distance and the winds calm a bit as you unbuckle your harness. You’re pulling the pup from its safety and throwing open the door, running to the spot it just was.
“Whoo!” You hear Tyler whoop, and you throw that snapback hat of his you were wearing, adrenaline pumping through you. He sweeps you into his large arms, twirling you around. “Did you see that, baby? God, that was beautiful.” He laughs and you pull on the brim of his cowboy hat. “I sure did, let’s go get those bugs before we lose their signals, cowboy.”
Later as you set up camp in some cheap motel, Ben is approaching Lilly and Boone with questions.
“I need a story about the girl, uh Tex? Does she have a name?” He settles into one of the fold out chairs and motions to you sitting on the roof of the truck, looking up at the stars and listening to the music playing on the radio.
Lilly chuckles and then makes an adjustment to her drone. “She does, but she’d kill you if she found out you was using her government name in your fancy paper.”
Ben finds that interesting, he writes a few notes about a very mysterious persona you have. “How long has she been in this business? I tried to ask her some questions but she shushed me and told me she was ‘meditating to a Childers song’ and it was very important that she did this.”
Boone shakes his head. “She says confusing stuff to make people go away when she wants her peace.” He explains. “Tex is the original, her and T were the ones to assemble the squad of us, they taught me everything I know. She might be crazier than he is if I’m bein’ honest, always pushing the limits but every move she makes is calculated.”
Lilly agrees. “She’s my best friend, but has always been a curious case. She comes from Texas, hence the nickname and the accent that gets too thick when she’s drunk. Mama wanted her to be this Southern belle but she turned out to be a real wrangler. She’s the smartest person I know, but has a very relaxed way about her.”
“Who?” Dexter asks as he passes by.
“Tex.” They answer.
He shakes his head. “That girl’s a tree hugging loon.”
Ben quickly comes to know the dynamic of you and Tyler. There is no home but each other, you make the best of every situation because you are together. Two pairs of cowboy boots and wide eyes, that’s what you two are.
“I’d compare her to like…a coyote.” Lilly determines. “She’s the perfect balance of wisdom and foolishness, always willing to make light of situations. One time, we were tracking a desert storm in New Mexico and we were camping in our trucks, it was hot, all our leads were gone and we’re ready to turn back. The sunrise comes and it’s prettiest thing I ever seen, we wake up to just a color spill of orange and pink. We open our doors up and Tex is out there dancing in a sports bra and boxers.”
Boone leans back in his chair, laughing at the memory. “Man, we thought she finally lost it, that being with Tyler for so long finally made her go off the rails. T is standing there, watching her, asking what the hell she was doing and she claims she was doing a rain dance.” He says, making Ben chuckle to himself.
Lilly lights a cigarette and rolls her eyes. “She was out there shaking her ass.”
“You fucking joined her!” Boone argues, taking the cigarette from her.
“Well yeah, you don’t let your best friend dance alone. And what happened that day? The rain came and the biggest thunderheads I had ever seen blew in. The lightning was beautiful, Ben, you shoulda been there.”
New Mexico rain was a memory you thought of often, it just felt a little fresher. Blame it on the heat you were dying of or the thirsty land you stood on, but you stood out in it, getting soaked to the bone and then fell into Tyler’s arms.
Now, far away in Oklahoma, Tyler stands looking up at you soaking in the moonlight. “Come down from there.” He calls. You lean over the edge of the roof and look at him. “Why don’t you come up here?” You challenge.
Tyler shakes his head. “I’m tired, darlin’. Let me take you inside.”
You look back up at the stars, then slide from the top of the truck, making him reach out and catch you. “Alright, take me to bed you old man.”
He shakes his head at your comment. It’s hard to resist anymore, you just looked so gorgeous underneath the moonlight. He leans to kiss you, nothing too deep but still of passion because he loves tasting the sugar of your lips, you were always so sweet that it made his head cloudy.
Arm around your shoulders, yours around his waist, the two of you say goodnight to your friends and head to your motel room, Rocky trotting after you. The lock on the door is hard to budge open, the room has a sort of stale smell.
As Tyler is distracted by setting up a bed for the dog, you grab your things from your duffel. “Dibs in the bathroom.” You shout before making a run for it. Tyler groans and tries to beat you, but you stand in the doorway, sticking your tongue out at him. “You just gotta be faster.” You tease before shutting the door in his face.
The low bulb light casts a hazy orange glow to everything, you start the shower and find it to have weak water pressure. Your clothes make a pile on the floor and soon the air steams up.
Your muscles relax as you wash off, you let out a small groan at your fingers scrubbing your scalp. The sound of the shower curtain being pulled back and Tyler stepping in behind you makes you turn. “I haven’t even been in here that long.”
He shrugs, then moves to hog the water. “I got impatient.”
After being with someone for so long and sharing everything, nothing really fazes you. The crew jokes that you and Tyler could probably morph into one body at this point.
By the time the two of you are mostly rinsed off, he’s getting handsy. His fingers trace over your handful of tattoos, wet skin sliding across you in a feverish way. You lean your head back against his shoulder, looking up at him. “Ty…”
He looks down you was an innocent smile. “Oh come on, we’ve been traveling with people for too long. We get one night without Boone gagging when I kiss you.” He says, then leans his head down, nuzzling into your neck.
You bite your lip at the feeling, your arm coming up to run your hand through his hair. “Who’s in the room next to us? These walls are thin.”
“I don’t give a shit about that.” He mumbles, hand slipping far past your navel, earning a loud gasp from you.
You lean your weight back against him, nodding feverishly as his fingers do wonders to an aching spot between your legs. “Okay, not having Boone around is really good.” You breathe.
He’s practically holding you up, his other arm is around you, holding you to his chest while he makes you fall apart.
It didn’t matter that the room hasn’t been updated since the 80’s or that the mattress groaned under the weight of the two of you or that Rocky runs and hides, the two of you were savoring this alone time because you didn’t know when the next time would be when you got it.
You’re laughing, making out and switching positions. The feel of his hand running past the valley of your breasts and giving your throat the lightest grip, it makes you feel on fire. The headboard’s getting knocked into the wall, you’re breathlessly whining and he’s loving every reaction you give him. By the time you’re gripping his shoulders so tight and his name is sounding broken as it cuts from your throat, he’s barely holding himself up.
The air conditioning makes an odd hum sound as you lay against him, skin on skin. You never understood how people could get bored of sex after being with someone for a while, having sex with Tyler Owens was hotter than west Texas in the Summer.
Well, the first time was a little awkward. Most people don’t establish they love each other before they sleep with each other, but you guys did. When you sat in his lap, lips slotted against his, you had to fight to push the idea out of your mind that you were grinding against your best friend. Everything was slow and every touch was unsure, after it ended you were scared that the relationship dynamic would never work if this was how sex was together.
You laugh now, thinking about it.
“What’s so funny?” He asks, fingers tracing the long horn skull that is tramp stamped on you.
“I’m just remembering the first time we had sex.” You shake with amusement. He groans. “You have to stop bringing that up.”
Pushing up from his chest, the blanket falls off of you. He watches in amazement as you swing your leg over his waist, your hands planted on his chest. “I think it’s cute, we were just babies.”
“Yeah, sometimes I miss the days where I didn’t know how insane you were.”
You glare, immediately going to move off of him before his grip yanks you back to your spot.
“I’m kidding, I always knew you were crazy.” He says.
“You love it.” You lean over him, and his hand comes to tuck some of your hair behind your ear. “You know I do, darlin’.”
Falling asleep was easy, you could fall asleep anywhere, but in a bed with Tyler holding you to his chest, it had you dreaming in seconds. You wake before he does, slowly sliding away to get dressed. You stand at the balcony outside, a cup of coffee in your hand as you watch the sunrise. After a few moments of peace, the door behind you opens and out comes your lover boy.
“No rain dance this morning?” He asks, kissing the top of your head.
“There’s plenty of rain in Oklahoma, they don’t need me to shake my ass in the parking lot for it to come.” You state, leaning down to pick up Rocky who trailed out after Tyler.
The two- well, three of you, look out at the horizon line, the air is already getting hot.
“You ready?” He asks you, and you turn to kiss his jaw. “I’m always ready.”

How can you Glow/ Level UP
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Images from Artist Layla Essaydi. pile 1–>4
Hey y’all! I wanted to do this reading because I saw it was the second place winner in the poll so, here you go! Also I will get the 18+ reading that you guys asked for the most in my inbox to you very shorty!
Pile 1💸
The fool, The tower, The empress
You have to let go. You are straining yourselves pile 1, stop what to to control life and just let life happen to you. Tbh, even you obsessing over your looks (like reading this reading) isn’t good for you. You don’t need to change anything - especially because I’m getting that I lot of big changes are already coming for you.
You are going to step into a mor “queenly” energy soon and you wanna know how or why? It will flow naturally from you. It wont be fake or contrived. You’ll make your own beauty standards and adhere to them. People will be shocked by this seemingly overnight change but it will be all you, not any book or guide from someone else that your are following.
Pile 2 💸
Two of Cups, Nine of swords, The Emperor
Okay, i’m definitely seeing some stress here. Probably due to school, job or even love. I’m getting that you will glow up after you are done with whatever this is that is stressing you. Right now, I’m getting that this stress is showing on your face, unfortunately.
I think the best path to glowing up will come from the inside. When you get your school, job, or love troubles sorted, you will glow from within. Your glow up isn’t using specific products or dyeing your hair, its much deeper than that.
Pile 3💸
Ace of pentacles, The chariot, Four of swords
Ooooh, I see a vacay here for you! I see than you will glow up with traveling and becoming free. Your glow up vibe will be a relaxed hippie feminine sort of freedom. These are two really random references that just popped in my head but if you’ve ever seen the Amanda Byrnes film What A Girl Wants, I see you glowing up channeling that care free traveling vibe. The main character goes on a spontaneous trip to London and finds herself, love and family. It’s really cute and I see having a fun trip spontaneously like that could help you. The other reference is Dua Lipa, who was recently memes for constantly going on vacation.
That is a little extreme but you should definitely think about saving some coins to spend on a great relaxing vacation pile 3! Or just stay where you are but be more spontaneous, try that new ice cream shop you’ve been thinking about going into, walk around empty malls on a weekend, or go to that club you always thought was way too cool for you. You got this!
Pile 4 💸
King of cups, The fool, Seven of pentacles
I see experimenting with your looks being a big thing here. Wether it’s dying your brows, shaving your head, or getting that piercing. There is a temporary physical change you have been thinking of doing but are afraid of. This spread is telling you it’s okay to experiment with new things once in a while, especially if you have been looking the same for while. Spring cleaning also applies to yourself pile 3!
Another thing i’m also getting is maybe experimenting with a new skin care routine. I’m getting that y’all might have some skin issues and this could lead to trying new diets or products to combat that. One thing I suggest is going to Sephora and getting some skin care samples.
That’s all guys! Thanks for reading and remember if it doesn’t apply let it fly! ❤️‍🔥💸🌴

pair of pests: interviews ˏˋ°•*⁀ kyra x catley!reader, short fic/blurb
Tumblr media
kyra cooney-cross x reader | 1.2k | based off of this ask (mostly just harper and tiny, with a little of kyra at the end)
Mini was currently in a post match interview with Harper when you’d been called into the room to wait on the side since you were supposed to have one as soon as Mini’s was done. You tried to be discreet and for the most part you’d been able to slip into the room without Harper’s attention shifting to you.
You silently laughed on the side, watching Harper inevitably steal the show from her mum. Climbing up onto the table, playing around with the microphone that was propped up on the table, looking out at everyone and then playing with the bracelets she had around her wrists that the fans had just given them.
Any interviews with Harper, she’d always steal the show and you couldn’t blame anyone, she was too cute to ignore. Though you’d accidentally laughed a little too loud which caught Harper’s attention. Knowing how she is with you, is why you’d tried to stay quiet and discreet so you wouldn’t ruin another one of Mini’s interviews.
‘Ti!’ Harper almost shouted and tried to get to you as fast as possible, climbing back up onto the table and trying to just jump off the other side. Mini had to jump up and quickly stop Harper from tumbling off the table onto the floor. Harper wiggled in Mini’s arms until she’d been placed on the ground and ran off to you.
‘Hi Harps,’ You leaned down, opening your arms so she could run into them and have you lift her up, ‘Shh we’ve gotta be quiet so your mum can finish up,’ You tried to keep Harper quiet while Mini finished her interview.
‘It’s boring,’ Harper whined, catching everyone’s attention while they laughed at her comment, you couldn’t help but laugh as well.
With everyone distracted it seemed to be the perfect time to finish up Mini’s post match interview. Mini moved away from the table over to where you were holding Harper, going to take Harper so you could do your post match interview. When Harper saw her mum coming towards you both she threw her arms around your neck and buried her head, if she couldn’t see her mum then she couldn’t be taken away from you.
You and Mini both shared a look as well as a small laugh at Harper’s actions, ‘You wanna stay with me and help me do my interview?’ You spoke softly. Harper lifted her head and nodded.
‘Oh but I thought it’s boring,’ Mini poked Harper’s side, making her laugh.
‘Boring with you but not with Ti!’ Harper gave Mini a little cheeky smile.
‘She spends too much time with you and Kyra,’ Mini laughed, giving your shoulder a little nudge.
‘I don’t know what you’re talking about,’ Mini shook her head when you gave her the exact same smile Harper had just given her. Sometimes it’s easy to forget that you and Harper aren’t actually sisters.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:*
You were on your way to a pre match press conference, since your schedule fit the best with it you Tony had asked you to do the press conference alongside him. Though you’d made the mistake of walking through where Mini, Harper and some of the other girls were.
Not even a minute of being in the same space as Harper, you’d heard the sounds of her little feet running towards you. Leaning down, you gave her a hug, ‘I’m sorry, I have to go speak with some people,’ It wasn’t the easiest to leave Harper, especially during camps she would almost always be attached to you. It was the most time she got to spend with you almost uninterrupted. You always did your best to see Mini, Harper and the rest of your little found family back in London, but away matches and different training schedules didn’t make it easy.
‘Okay,’ Harper smiled and grabbed onto your hand when you stood up and went to walk along with you.
The others there tried to help you out and get Harper to stay behind with them, ‘It’s okay, I’m sure no one will mind,’ Making your way to the press conference you caught up with Tony, ‘I’m sorry, we’re like a package deal at this point,’ You both laughed at your comment. No one could deny that it wasn’t true.
‘It’s alright, they might even have questions for little Harper,’
✧・゚: *✧・゚:*
There were times where you got to have even more fun with the fact that Harper can pick you out in any kind of crowd. Like when it was an Arsenal v West Ham match and you were getting photos taken with your player of the match award. Harper had made her way through all the people to interrupt the photos.
Though you were prepared for something like this happening, since you knew you’d have your little shadow after the match. You’d bought a little Arsenal jersey and gotten Harper’s name printed on the back along with your number. Kyra helped you along with the plan of swapping Harper’s West Ham jersey with the Arsenal one. Kyra was waiting back a bit for you while you were busy with the staff when Harper came walking by her, ‘What I don’t get a hello?’ Kyra feigned offence but all she got was a little smirk and side eye from Harper.
‘Hang on a moment,’ You hadn’t gotten the photos taken just yet so you thought this was the perfect opportunity, ‘Kyra bring it here,’ You called out to your girlfriend who you knew was hiding the Arsenal jersey beneath her jacket. You both kneeled down next to Harper, ‘I got you a little present. How would you feel about wearing this right now?’ You asked Harper while Kyra held up the jersey, showing the back, ‘It’s just like mine,’ You turned slightly showing how the jersey’s both had the same number.
You both kept an eye out making sure no one, Mini in particular, would see this happening and stop it before you’d even had the chance to swap Harper’s jersey’s. Harper immediately reached out to grab at the jersey in Kyra’s hand. Kyra helped Harper swap the West Ham jersey she had over the top of her hoodie for the Arsenal one.
‘Much better in red,’ Kyra grinned and you knew Harper was going to copy that later and say it to Mini but it was all worth it.
‘Just like Ti!’ Harper was excited, showing off the jersey to some of the other Arsenal girls that were walking by before you scooped her up, holding out the little award so you and Harper could hold it for your photos. You’d gotten a bunch of photos of the two of you together, showing off the back of the jersey’s as well.
‘Yeah a little Tiny,’ Kyra smiled, admiring how good you were with Harper. Had her thinking about the future and getting to have moments like this with your own kid one day.

hello!!! hope you’re doing great, I kinda wanna ask about Thomas x Sister Shelby if you do that ? And if you do I’m thinking she’d be smart, has a very quick tongue and she wants to get out of the Shelby business to marry the love of her life (alfie😝😍) so she fakes her death and ofc everyone is distraught and angry than after a few years Thomas sees alfie at his home and than comes his sister who he thought had died and he berates her than she says something like you’re a worse person than me always killing for money like he can’t live without a war. Also I am in the mood for a very angst ending
A/N: Hello my love! How are you doing? I am so so sorry that this has taken forever. Truthfully, I had no clue how to do this. I thought about this long an hard, and though some things I switched up, I hope you enjoy this. I feel like this got me to stretch my writing muscles, and it was really fun. Let me know what you think darling!
Run Away With Me Darling
Alfie Solomons x Fem! Reader; 3.8k words; fluff, angst
Warnings: language, contentious family relationships, arranged marriage???
It started innocently enough.
You bringing tea and biscuits to meeting rooms where the men started their schemes. Listening and taking notes alongside your ever watchful Aunt Polly. Sneaking glances at the big brute in the chair across from your big brothers.
“Thank you treacle. Yeah that’s real kind of you.”
That brute is the only man that would say thank you for the tea you bring by. And when you go to pour more for him, he’s the only man who says, “No need for that darling. Grown men can pour their own tea yeah?”
It wasn’t meant to be anything more than professional. But you should’ve known. Known from that first encounter outside those Shelby walls… you and Mr. Solomons shared a single soul… and heaven nor hell could keep you from each other’s grasp.
It was hot. London is not a tropical city by any means. But the sheer amount of bodies, activity, and warm rain, had transformed the city into a sauna. The wisps of your hair along your neck and forehead are plastered to your body. Rivulets of sweat sneak down your chest. The heat could only be described as oppressive. You were counting down the steps till you could go home.
On the one hand… it was strange having a home all to yourself. Truthfully, it was the Shelby homestead in London, where the family would stay when business needed attending to. However, when they all left, you stayed. Carrying delicate messages. Keeping a close pulse on the going’s on of the city. And perhaps most importantly… remaining a pretty show pony for the Shelby family.
You hated to admit it. But you were desperately jealous of Ada. She had the guts to sneak past Arthur, Tommy, and John. She had the foresight to marry her true love before Tommy could marry her off to the highest bidder. You had no such luck. No childhood love. No sweetheart to campaign for. The boys had made sure of it. Despite Ada and your protests, and Polly’s discrete ploys; Tommy had decided. The sweet, pure, and innocent youngest Shelby girl will be auctioned off to the richest and most lucrative partner for the Shelby Company. And she will remain pretty and docile. A prize.
The mere thought made your stomach twist and churn and burn.
You loved them. Your family. More than most love their family. But you could barely breathe under their watch. Even in another city you felt the reach of their eyes. Felt the whisperings of potential matches for your hand and womb. The sweat on your brow burned your eyes. Taking place of the unshed tears you long abandoned.
All you longed for was cold water. A cool bath. Anything to scrub off the sweat and dirt and exhaustion. However, shade covered your front door, casting a shadow over the threshold.
“Sweetheart! Been waiting a bit for you!”
No matter where you see Mr. Solomons, he seems to take up all the space. You don’t know how he is able to stand the heat, with his coat and hat and bushy beard. But he looks unfettered. Cool even. You finally felt the kiss of the breeze on your neck as you approached.
“Mr. Solomons. How can I help you?”
“You going to invite me in like a good girl?”
“I’m not in the business of inviting strange men into my home.”
“You think me strange?”
“Oh Mr. Solomons you are the strangest man I’ve ever met.”
“Makes you a little excited though don’t it? A hint of danger yeah? Big brute standing at your door.”
You stuck your chin out, staring directly into his stormy eyes. “I’m not afraid of you Mr. Solomons.”
His mouth quirks up in the corner. A twinkle in his eyes, and your breath hitched as he leaned into your space, “Oh I know sweet. You ain’t like the others ain’t ya? I saw it… the first time I laid eyes on you I knew you were different. Those boys… cold blooded little snakes… you… nah… there’s a flame in you treacle…and I look forward to see you set things aflame.”
Before you could respond in any way, he leaned away, smiling at your response. He pulled out an envelope from his coat and handed it to you, “Contract and information for your devious brother my sweet. Don’t worry, put a little something in there for you too for your trouble.”
You snatched the envelope from his hand. Unsure of how to respond to his… behavior. His rumbling laugh set a shiver down your spine, but you pushed it down as you appraised him, “This seems below your job description… don’t you have messenger boys?”
He further smirked, “I hope you’ll forgive me, that I want to keep you to myself.”
“I’m not a kept girl.”
“That you are not. Just have to inform your brothers of the fact don’t you?”
Hot shame rose in your cheeks. The envelope in your hands crinkling sharply. You felt the cool brush of gold rings on your cheek, “I have a standing dinner every Thursday evening. Let it be our little secret, hmm?”
Before you could react, a coarse kiss is pressed to your knuckles. As he started walking away, you called out, “And if I don’t show up? What then?”
He turned, with a boyish smile, “You’re not a kept woman treacle. Not my business. I’ll just send my messenger boys in my place.”
That was a year ago. Things were so simple then. Secret dinners. Secret mornings. Secret dalliances and outings around town. And when the family came to town, you placed that mask back on. Sweet, innocent, and docile Shelby girl. Ready at the beck and call of her family. And when they left, you ran right into the arms of Alfie. Because where it all started as something to feel disobedient, it grew into something deeper and more ancient. You felt your soul intertwine with his, as if it was always searching for him. In the evenings when he whispered his love for you and kept you close, you had never felt safer. Never felt more alive.
But dreams are not forever. Sooner or later the bubble must pop.
“You’ll need to come back to Birmingham dearest.”
“For how long?”
Everyone looked up at Tommy. Tommy didn’t even look up from his dinner plate, “Permanently. I’ve got a husband for you.”
Your fork dropped. Your heart stopped beating.
You faintly hear Aunt Polly call your name.
“Husband?” You whispered.
Tommy sighed, “That is what I said. High time you married, you’re old enough. Mr. Gorman has multiple factories both here and in the states, and his son is set to inherit them all. It’s a good match, it’ll be very beneficial to the company.”
“Tommy I don’t even know him.”
“You have your entire life to get to know him. Now finish your dinner.”
“So you just decided is that it? You just decided to that I’d belong to some man? Tell me Tommy… how much did you sell me off for? How much is my womb worth?”
“Watch your mouth!” Polly hissed, with Arthur wincing at the cutting words.
“I’m not going.” You stood from your chair. Preparing for battle.
“It’s not up for discussion.”
“I’m not going! You cannot make me!”
Tommy rose from his seat, John putting his head in his hands with Arthur knocking back a drink. Low. Deadly. Tommy always could command a room with his voice. Cold finger pointing at you like a deadly weapon. “You will do as you’re told. This is not about you. This is about the family. In a week, I will come fetch you. I will drag you back to Birmingham if I have to. And you will marry the young Mr. Gorman, and you will have as many of his fucking babies as he chooses. You will be rich. You will be safe. And you will be set. I am not about to argue with a child.”
You felt the tears well up in your eyes. Sorrow. Mourning. Hatred. “I hate you Thomas Shelby. I hate you.”
“You will get over it.”
You ran to your room. Weeping the rest of the night.
Because how can your body and name be given to a man, when your heart and soul belonged to another?
They left the next morning. Arthur knocking on your door to announce the departure, and trying to convince you, “He’s a good lad darling. Trust Tommy alright? Wouldn’t let nothing bad happen to ya, even though it seems like right shit. Don’t be too angry at us. We’ll all still be close. And anyway… it’s what’s good for the family.”
You didn’t look at him. Not even a hum of acknowledgment when he kissed your hair tenderly. A regretful sigh leaves his body as Arthur walked away, taking one last look at your quivering body on your maiden bed. Arthur always had a soft spot for you. Always defensive for you unlike your other siblings. He had tried in vain to get Tommy to rethink the arrangement. You didn't need to get married. The company didn't need such an alliance. They'd get by as they always have. But Tommy's sights were set much higher. He wanted that name of honor. And to get it, he was willing to play by the rules of old money. Tommy had convinced Arthur enough. Enough that you'd eventually forgive them all.
The orange sky illuminated your bedroom in a bloody hue. Your throat dry and head hot and pounding. The creaking and settling of the house had become a steady ring in your ears, you didn't even hear the bedroom door open.
"Treacle. What are you doing? Eden said you haven't left since last night. You ill?"
Maids hear everything, you think bitterly. But you couldn't be too cross with Eden. Not really.
"He's done it Alfie."
Alfie toed off his boots after the hat and coat. Sinking into the too ornate duvet. "Who treacle? What happened?"
You faced him, deep creases of the duvet threads divide your hot wet cheeks. Lashes clumped together and soaked. "Tommy... he... he finally did it. He's married me off. In a weeks time I'm to belong to some... Mr. Gorman. His father owns factories, and I suppose that's enough for my bride price."
You feel your body being gently tugged up and into Alfie’s embrace. Despite any protest from you about how it may affect his back, he shushes you instantly, “Now now my little dove. Nah you ain’t going back to Birmingham. You ain’t getting married to some prick. Nah you’re staying here with ol’ Alfie.”
You force your face under his chin, letting his unkempt beard absorb your sobs, “No Alfie it’s true! Tommy told me yesterday at dinner! He… he’s taking me away Alfie! I hate him. I hate him so much. I don’t want to marry some man I don’t even know!”
“I already told you darling, you’re not going to! It’s not happening.”
You push his shoulder, “You’re not listening to me! Tommy said-“
“I don’t give a shit what Tommy said! You’re not marrying the shit because you’re marrying me!”
Like an unpracticed magician, he pulled out a gorgeous diamond and sapphire ring. Its glimmer and fractals made it look as endless as the night sky. You felt the breath in your lungs catch, anger and fear simmering down and cooling. You dared not touch something to precious, “Alfie Solomons…”
“Was my mother’s. Gave it to me when I came back from the war. On her death bed. Made me swear that I wouldn’t give it up for any pretty girl on the street. Had to give it to the one.”
You struggled to meet his gaze, “And I-“
“The one treacle. If you’ll have me.”
He shifted you in his lap, fully facing him, “Now… I had a whole event planned out. Garden stroll. Drinks. Music playing. And I know I’m a sorry old monster and you have loads of suitor-“
“Alfie-“
“But I swear on my life treacle, you’ll never want for anything. You will have freedom to do whatever you would hope to do. We’ll go anywhere. I’ll love you till the stars go out-“
“Alfie! Yes! Yes yes yes! I’ll marry you! You silly old man!”
You pushed him back and kissed him fiercely. With all the passion you had been hiding from your family for years. Until the acidic burn of reality came down, “But what about Tommy? Alfie you hate each other, he’ll never let me go.”
Rough hands running up and down your thighs, gazing in awe at the fiery halo surrounding you. “I was willing to go in and threaten blessing or death.”
“I won’t have you put in danger for love. This isn’t Shakespeare.”
With a laugh and kiss to your fingertips he whispers, “You got any ideas? I’m all ears.”
You try to think, but kept coming across a wall. Any option you thought of ended in bloodshed. You fell into the bed next to Alfie, curling into his chest, “I wish we could just run away.”
His arms tighten around you, “What if we did?”
It would happen three days before Tommy would come to fetch you. You dismissed Eden with an oath to secrecy, and for four days you played the part of excited bride to be. Purchasing things for a new marital home, a wedding dress and new wardrobe. Who cares if the detail of the lucky husband was slightly off?
Whenever your family called, you lied happily through your smiling teeth. At first you felt a twinge of guilt. But in the end, they stood by as your brothers sold you off. They lost the right to the truth. They hated Alfie, said as much any time they came to the house. They would never understand. They would never allow it. But this was your life. And you would be damned before you were cleaved from your beloved.
The men from the distillery made regular visits to the house in the middle of the night, picking up your things to take to Margate, dropping off love letters and updates from Alfie. With each passing day, your heart became lighter. The binds lessening. Freedom was right on your tongue.
Three days before Tommy, Arthur, and John are to pick you up, the horrific news explodes through Birmingham. The Shelby home in London: set ablaze. No survivors. The beautiful bride, burned alongside her wedding dress hanging in the window. The youngest Shelby girl, an angel amongst demons, taken too soon from the earth from a horrific accident. The fire so destructive, not even a body is there for a proper burial. Just ash and a memory of that sweet face. The funeral is horrible. Wailing and weeping from all of Birmingham. Aunt Polly could barely keep it together, blaming Tommy for it all. Even business acquaintances from London and beyond come to pay their respects. The most shocking visitor, was Mr. Solomons, who paid for the funeral itself, “I’m sorry Tommy for your loss. I really am. She was a sweet girl. But… she’s in a better place I’m sure.”
And what a better place that is. White washed home right on the beach, windows open at all times, with the sea breeze billowing pristine gossamer curtains in the wind. You spend your days reading and writing to your heart’s content, strolling the beach, playing with Cyril like a child. As Alfie settles affairs in Camden during the week, he visits during the weekend, serving and worshipping you like a goddess. He never gave you information about the family. You didn’t want it. That was your old life. A you that you couldn’t recognize. Here, in this life, you were free. Free to speak. Free to argue and give your mind.
After a month, Alfie permanently moves to Margate. Home. Retired from the gangster life with enough money to live comfortably for the rest of his life, with more than enough to comfort when he’s gone.
And the years pass blissfully. Just how it was in the beginning. Kisses and dancing and laughter and arguing and love and joy. 3 years of absolute heaven, you had nearly forgotten how it all was almost taken from you.
But the past does have a way of rearing its ugly head doesn’t it?
It’s the dawn of summer. The final kisses of spring bringing crisp clean air through your marital home. Alfie had never felt better. The pain in his body had long left him, only flaring during the coldest evenings. The dark circles under his eyes have dissolved. His face and body, fuller, firmer with the glowing health of a man at peace who works for life not death. You were upstairs, searching for the a particular spool of thread you had been working with for a blanket you had spent days on. But it needed to be done soon. Alfie shifted through the records you both had been collecting. Symphonies had become his special interest in the recent months, and he was looking for a particular composition that he felt would make your heart sing.
The heavy knock on the door sent the hair on his neck stand at attention.
Only one demon knocked like that.
His eyes shifted to the stairs. He could still hear you moving things around. Searching tirelessly for that spool. You’d be missing for a couple minutes. Enough to rebuke the vile creature from the door without your discovery.
With a deep breath, Alfie tries to remember the armor of his past. The Mad Baker. Just as another round of knocks was about to come, Alfie opened roughly, “Tommy! What are you doing here? Gates of hell need their master don’t they?”
He looked thinner than normal. It’s been years since the men had seen each other, but the difference was still shocking. Those icey blue eyes even more haunting than they were at the funeral. Gaunt cheeks and pale skin made him look like a living corpse. A flicker of a flame winked behind those eyes. Hope for another fight. Something to set him aflame. “Hello Alfie. Enjoying retirement?”
“Yeah actually I am so whatever you have up your sleeve I want no part in it so if you’ll just fuck off.”
Before Alfie could slam the door, Tommy stuck his foot in the door, “Not that simple Alfie. Worlds gone to shit and it needs Solomons to set it to right.”
“Your world not mine. Now get out.”
“I’m not going to leave until you let me in Alfie.”
Your angelic voice danced on the breeze down to the front door, “I found it! Alfie you would not believe where it was! I swear I’m losing my mind.”
Tommy’s face some how went paler. As if he heard Satan’s whisper of condemnation. Alfie tried to push the door closed, but with the strength of a mad man Tommy pushed past the threshold.
Tommy almost fainted.
This must be hell.
He must have died.
It’s the only rational idea.
God chose to lock him in the home of his biggest agitation, with the ghost of his dead baby sister.
But this couldn’t be your ghost. Your swollen belly proves this.
“Holy shit.” You drop the tea cup in your hands when you see Tommy. Tommy who wasn’t supposed to be here. Tommy who saw you buried and dead.
Alfie rushes in, pulling you behind his broad frame. Through his linen shirt, you feel the ragged breath and hammering heart of your husband. You feel faint. “Tommy… you need to leave right now.”
“You paid for the funeral.”
“Tommy we can do this later but you need to get out right now. I’m asking nicely.”
“You knew she was alive… you knew.”
“She is very delicate right now she does not need any excitement.”
“You fucking made her delicate! You compromised her you fucking bastard!”
You cried out as Tommy lunged for your husband, “Stop it Tommy! Enough! Get out of my house!”
Tommy stumbled, pointing at you, “You… you’re fucking sick. You’re demented! You caused Polly a near heart attack. You are disgusting!”
You push past Alfie, who is left watching, “I’m disgusting! You sold me off to some man. And for what? To get people to see you as a big man? Guess what Tommy, you will NEVER be good enough for them! They’ll always see people like us as trash! But you don’t care. Anything to get ahead right?! You’ll stoop as low as you need to ahead.”
Tommy laughed bitterly, holding back the urge to spit, “And what about you yeah? So spoiled that you throw the biggest tantrum of the century. Whore yourself out to the Mad Baker, and get knocked up with his bastard.”
“I’d stop talking if I were you Tommy.”, Alfie snarled darkly. Fists curling in. Like a wolf ready to devour.
“I’d rather be his whore than be a part of any family of yours. You can’t leave well enough alone. Murdering and slaughtering for some honor so quick to tarnish and fade away. You tried to lock me away, never taking a care to what I wanted or thought. But you can’t do that to me anymore. I’m a Solomons, and I carry his child. You can’t touch me.”
Tommy settled, steel washed over his face. “They have a right to know.”
“You all have a right to nothing. I’ll see the family when I’m good and ready.”
His eyes shift to Alfie, “You are evil incarnate. You are cursed.”
No sign of mirth reaches Alfie’s eyes when he smirks, “Careful Tommy. You know what they say about curses. Especially when you curse family.”
Without another word, Tommy storms out. As soon as the door slams, shaking the lamps, you let out the breath in your heavy lungs, “Holy Shit”.
Your knees give out from under you, and cold shakes roll through your body. Alfie grabbed your body, helping you into a chair. “Settle my love it’s alright he’s gone. What do you need? Baby ok?”
“No I’m ok thank you my love. I just… I need air. I can’t believe he came here. He knows. They all know.”
“Hush darling, breathe for me, settle your nerves, you don’t need to worry. They know but they can’t touch you. You’re my wife and they can’t get to you. You are your own woman. You are safe.”
“But what are we going to do. What if they come?”
“Then we’ll deal with them. I’ll have some boys come in, set up a watch. We won’t be caught off guard ever again.”
You nodded. Trusting the words of your husband. You felt an affirming kick in your ribs. The rushing of your heart. You had paradise for three years. You couldn’t run forever, no matter how far you got. The bell had finally tolled, and it was time to face it.

blue for a while | buddy & monkey: double the trouble
summary: monkey's loan spell in the 2022/23 season.
double the trouble masterlist
Tumblr media
The Manchester rain felt different. It wasn’t just that it was heavier, colder, or lingered in the air longer than it did in London.
It was lonelier.
And you hated it.
You hated the city. The constant rain, the grey skies, the way it was always cold. You hated how the wind cut through you even when you wore three layers. London was cold too, but it never felt this miserable.
You hated the shirt. You especially hated how the blue felt wrong against your skin, and how every time you pulled it on, it made your stomach churn.
You had grown up in red. Arsenal was your home, your family.
This? This was nothing but a punishment.
Or at least it felt like it was.
And more than anything, you hated Jonas for sending you here.
You had been absolutely fuming when you found out about the loan.
“You’re joking? I’m not going there!” You exclaimed, outraged even at the thought of it.
“You don’t have a choice, kid,” Jonas had said, his tone leaving no room for argument.
“You… You can’t make me! Leah–” You turned to her, desperate, “Mum, can’t you stop this? You can’t let this happen!”
Leah’s jaw had been tight, her fingers flexing at her sides. She was just as frustrated as you were, but the fight had already been lost before it even began, “It’s out of my hands I’m afraid, my girl,” Her voice was strained, “I’m… I’m sorry.”
“I don’t want to go,” You had pleaded.
“I know,” Leah exhaled a sigh, running her hand through her hair, “But you’re going to be fine. Auntie Kei, G, and Lucy are there. Just think of it like an adventure.”
Of course, Leah tried to make it sound like it was better than it was, but it wouldn’t be.
You scoffed, shaking your head in protest, “But I don’t want an adventure, I want to stay here.”
Jonas, however, didn’t look the slightest bit phased, “You’ll be expected to arrive in Manchester for your medical tomorrow. The club is sorting your transport out.”
Your stomach had twisted at that. It was happening, whether you wanted it or not.
“Where am I even gonna stay?” You asked, confused as your voice was small.
“Don’t worry, Monkey. I’ll speak to Kei and Luce, and I’m sure you can stay with them,” Leah said, she was trying to be reassuring but you saw the way she was struggling with the idea of this herself.
And then, just like that, the club’s announcement post dropped the following morning after you found out.
Tumblr media
It was official.
“Remember, it’s going to be an adventure,” Leah said, forcing a faint smile.
You scowled, “A terrible adventure. Why do I have to go?”
Leah sighed, barely managing to get a spoonful of porridge into Buddy’s mouth, “It was the club’s decision, Monkey. I can’t do anything about it.”
But you didn’t want to hear that. You wanted her to fix it.
Tumblr media
You hated it here. And you were vocal about your feelings.
“I hate it here, mum. It’s so shit,” You grumbled, collapsing onto the bed in Lucy and Keira’s spare bedroom after another miserable training session.
“Stop swearing,” Leah chided through the phone, “It’s only for this season. You’re going to be fine, and you have Kei, G, and Lucy, remember? It’s going to be alright.”
You huffed, rolling onto your stomach, “You’ve sent me to live with a crazy woman, Mum!”
Leah sighed, “You’re being dramatic, Monkey,”
“Am I? Lucy tried to shove pineapple on my pizza yesterday. I barely made it out alive,” You protested, dramatically.
“Relax, squirt. Auntie Kei is here to keep you safe,” Keira popped her head around the bedroom door with a cheesy grin, “Don’t yer worry, Le. She’s safe with us!”
You wrinkled your nose, “Did you seriously just refer to yourself in the third person? So lame.”
Keira cackled, “You’re just mad ‘cause I scored that banger past you in training.”
You groaned. You hated that too.
You hated how Keira and Lucy had been given orders from Leah before you even arrived.
Don’t let her spend too much money.
Don’t let her stay up late.
Make sure she eats properly–no sweets, no energy drinks.
You weren’t a child.
Okay, sure, you were only seventeen, but still. You could take care of yourself.
Except… you were currently banned from Uber Eats because Keira caught you trying to order a McFlurry for breakfast. Lucy had physically taken a pack of Haribo Goldbears out of your hand at training. And when you tried to sneak an energy drink before the match, Keira snatched it and took a sip right in front of you–just to be annoying.
“You’re the worst,” You grumbled, arms crossed.
“You’re predictable,” Keira had shot back, grinning.
You just wanted to throw something at her.
Tumblr media
But the worst part?
It wasn’t just that you hated Manchester.
You hated City.
Their football was different, it wasn’t Arsenal’s football, and you felt it in every training session, every match. The movement was different, the patterns weren’t the ones burned into your brain from Hale End. Even when you did well, it didn’t feel right.
And the dressing room? It wasn’t the same. Sure, everyone was nice, but they weren’t your people. You missed Katie’s loud, chaotic energy. You missed Lia trying to make sure you ate before training. You even missed Kim’s usual Captain’s mannerisms and stern words.
You missed Leah. You missed Jordan.
And most of all, you missed your favourite little buddy.
The Arsenal group chat was still very much active on your phone, but it didn’t feel like yours anymore. The first few days, the girls had kept you included – talking about training, sending memes– but then the messages started to feel different. The jokes weren’t ones you were in on anymore. You saw pictures from team dinners–moments that you weren’t a part of.
You tried to pretend it didn’t sting.
Jordan and Leah, of course, always checked in.
📲 How's City treating you, little one?
Your answer was always the same.
📲 Shit.
Jordan sent a laughing emoji. That bad?
You didn’t hesitate to show how much disinterest you had for the city or the club.
📲 Yes. I hate it. I fuckin' hate Jonas. I hate the shitty weather. I hate the stupid fuckin' football. I hate everything.
Followed by a phone call from Leah, usually to scold you about your vibrant language.
“Stop swearing will you,” Leah chastised in her usual manner, “Your Mama told me about the text you sent her. I know it’s hard, but…”
You didn’t say the worst part.
You didn’t say how much you missed home.
You didn’t say how much you missed your family.
You swallowed hard, gripping the phone tighter, “I want to come home, Mum,” You muttered, quieter this time, “What if Buddy forgets who I am? I can’t let that happen.”
“Monkey,” Leah’s voice softened instantly, “She’s not going to forget who you are. She’ll still remember her big sister.”
“She’s just a baby,” Your voice cracked, “Babies forget things.”
Silence stretched between you. Then, the call flickered into a FaceTime request. You accepted it without hesitation, and the screen filled with Buddy’s tiny face. She was clutching your stuffed monkey, Mini, babbling your name like it was the only word she knew.
Leah smiled, tilting the camera, “Someone’s missing their big sister. She won’t let go of it,” She teased, her voice warm, “Does this look like’s forgetting you anytime soon?”
Your throat tightened, eyes burning as you fought back tears, “That’s not fair,” You mumbled, voice thick, “You can’t just make me cry like this, Mum."
Leah’s smile softened, “It’s just this season, my girl. You’ll be back home in London before you know it.”
That season felt like an eternity.

word count: 3.5k
author's note: sorry i got soooo carried away with this i don’t know what came over me. this was NOT supposed to be smut but im just a florida girl crushing on a florida boy here y’all lmao. i’m down so bad for this man that i just went kinda crazy. also this was my first time writing smut so pls bare with me. this is inspired by my friend (and fellow logan girly) who just acquired a nasty sunburn lmaoooo. enjoy!!!!
it had been quite a while since you and logan had been back home together. well, not really, but the weather was typically a lot nicer in the winter months than in the spring and summer, and you were not used to it. after you and logan moved to london together full-time, you rarely saw the sun anymore, and your matching pale complexions certainly reflected that sentiment.
obviously, the miami race weekend was a big deal for the whole sargeant camp. aunts, uncles, cousins, childhood friends, and grandparents would be making their short trip down i-95 to see logan race, but it also meant that you and logan could spend a week together at home, in the sun, in each other’s company. a free vacation of sorts. logan’s parents were busy getting the house ready for the hordes of guests that were to soon occupy the space, so you and logan were more than happy to get out of their hair and into the back yard for some relaxation.
it was sunday, and you found yourself lounging out on the dock, lost in a romance novel that was probably making you lose brain cells, when you heard a familiar voice calling out to you.
“y/n!”, logan yelled from where him and coco were playing on the grass. “have you been applying sunscreen?”
you put your book down, letting out a small huff at his question. logan often took a rather paternal role over you, not in a weird or demeaning way, but rather in the sense that he always has your best interest at heart. and you loved that about him, loved how he always wanted to take care of you without being asked.
you looked down over the chaise longue you were laid out on, thinking there was a bottle of SPF next to your drink, but all that was there was the can of sparkling water you had been nursing.
“don’t have any; i’ll be okay!” you called back, hoping that would be the end of it.
“you want me to bring you some? it’s no problem,” logan replied, positioning himself to get up off the ground.
“don’t worry about it; i’m coming inside soon anyways!” you half-lied, knowing that logan usually respected your wishes when it came to things like that. you knew you weren’t necessarily telling him the truth, but he knew you and your stubbornness, and he knew it was not his business to try to fix it.
another few hours had passed, and logan and the dog had long gone inside to find something else to do. you had stayed out, vowing to finish your book in one sitting. as you closed it, you stood up from the lounger, grabbing your long-abandoned can from the ground, wrapping yourself in the towel that you had been laying on, making your way back into the comfort of the house – and the air conditioning.
walking in through the kitchen, you pass logan’s mom, who was cooking dinner for the family.
“oh sweetie, looks like you got some color on you!” she exclaims, chopping up some vegetables.
“yeah, it’s been a minute since i’ve had time to tan! i missed the florida sunshine too much.”
“well, logan’s in his room, and dinner’s in about an hour if you’d like to freshen up,”  mrs. sargeant said sweetly, motioning towards the hallway towards logan’s room.
upon your arrival, logan moved his laptop out of his lap and onto the bed next to him. you took the towel off your shoulders, leaving you in just your bikini, when logan’s eyes went wide with shock.
“what, it’s not like you haven’t seen me in a bikini before?” you quipped, reacting to his sudden change of expression.
“y/n, you are bright red, like ferrari red,” logan replied, serious as a heart attack. you make your way to the vanity over his dresser, taking in your current state. logan was right. you were burnt.
“what the fuck dude, i swear i wasn’t out there that long,” you snapped, poking and prodding yourself in the mirror, letting out a wince when you stumbled over a particularly sensitive area.
logan gets off his spot on the bed, making his way towards you, joining you in front of the mirror. his hands immediately fall to your hips out of instinct, but he makes sure not to grab too tightly due to your new look.
“baby,” he says, placing his chin onto your shoulder. you let out another wince, reacting to his touch. “i told you to wear sunscreen. now look at you, my little lobster…”
“this isn’t funny,” you pout, and he leans forward to place a chaste kiss on your lips. you spin around in his arms, now facing him face-to-face rather than through the mirror.
“stop pouting baby, and go hop in the shower, please. the sooner you get some cold water on you, the better you’ll feel. i can feel the heat radiating off you from here,” logan said with a giggle. his hands linger around your ass, and he gives a slight smack to send you on your way, which elicits a shrill yelp from you due to the sensitivity of the area.
“are you at least going to join me?” you question as you make your way to his en suite, stopping in the door frame with your arms crossed across your chest. logan lets out another giggle.
“and listen to you whine the whole time? no thanks, plus i showered like an hour ago,” he replies, which garners a predictable whine from you.  “if you make it quick, i might have something that can help you,” he adds, and you turn on your heel into the bathroom, shutting the door with a slam.
and he was right; the shower hurt like hell, but you know that had he been there, you wouldn’t have been able to properly soak in the cold water, so you silently curse him for being right.
you walk back into logan’s room, wrapped in your towel, when you see him sitting on the bed, scrolling mindlessly on his phone. he hears you approach, putting his phone down and grabbing the clear bottle off the bed next to him.
“i found you aloe; well, my mom did. she said your burn is one of the worst she’s seen,” logan said, presenting the bottle to you like it was a participation trophy.
“is that supposed to make me feel better or worse, logie?” you questioned, feigning offence from his comment.
“well, the comment probably won’t, but hopefully the aloe does,” he replied. “c’mere, baby,” he cooed, his arms outstretched, welcoming you into his arms. you take your spot on his lap, legs draped over his thigh, wrapping your arms around his neck to keep you in place. logan places a kiss to the bridge of your nose, and along your cheeks, leaning in to admire the newly-formed freckles that were threatening to peak out from underneath the harsh redness of your skin.
“your freckles are back; reminds me of when we were little, trying to catch fish with my dad in the backyard. you were so bad at it; still are to be honest, but it’s okay because you still look cute trying to bait a hook,” he laughs, his breath giving a cooling sensation to your cheeks, and you wish he would keep talking just to feel his breath against your skin.
“logan, baby, the aloe?” you suggest, knowing that the time he’s wasting is killing you. all you crave is the feeling of the lotion on you, and his hands being the ones to apply it.
“sorry, didn’t mean to get sentimental on you, just being here with you makes me think about stuff like that. i sometimes wish we could go back…” logan trails off, and you know what he’s thinking about. he often thinks about the memories of you growing up, how much he missed you when he moved away to the uk, and what it meant to get you back. you like to think of those moments too, sometimes, but he often gets in his head about it.
“i know,” you coo, lifting a hand up to card through the longer hair on the back of his neck, as a way to soothe him.
he lifts the bottle of aloe up towards you.
“may i?” he asks, cocking an eyebrow up in an inquisitive way.
“of course you may. how do you want me?” you ask, a mischievous look in your eye.
“do not say it like that, you minx,” logan shot back, your innuendo catching him by surprise.
“keep talking crazy like that, and we might have a problem,” he snapped, although with no actual malice behind it. “you can lay on your tummy first, though, and i’ll go from there, if that’s okay,” he said, his expression softening as he looked at you.
you climb out of his lap and onto your stomach on the bed next to him, and he straddles your back to get the proper angle.
“this okay?” he asks, tugging slightly at the towel that is still loosely wrapped around your back.
“log, you’ve seen me naked countless times; of course it’s okay,” you quip, turning your head so he can see the side of your face. he leans down, planting a sloppy kiss to your cheek, blowing a raspberry there. this elicits a giggle from you, wriggling underneath him.
logan drags the towel down your body slowly, his fingers barely grazing your warm, sensitive skin, standing up on his knees to pull it out from under you.
“i know we aren’t having sex or anything, but could you at least take your shirt off or something? this feels too clinical,” you say, causing logan to burst out laughing above you.
“you are not a real person, i swear to god,” he quips, pulling his shirt over his head in one quick motion. “is that better, princess?” he says sarcastically, using the nickname he only gives you when you’re acting like a handful.
between your fits of giggles, you let out a “mhm” that signals to logan that he is free to proceed. this evokes an eye roll from logan that you catch out of the corner of your eye.
his attitude doesn’t last long, however, because before you can protest, his lips find your shoulder blade, peppering kisses along the top of your back, feeling his stubble graze across your skin. it burns, but feels so good at the same time.
“so sweet for me, logie,” you groan, melting into his touch. he reaches for your hair, still damp from the shower, to move it out of his way, as he makes his way across the plane of your body.
all he can manage is a drawn out “hmmmmm” as he feels the warmth of your skin along his cheek.
he pulls away suddenly, and you whimper at the loss of contact from him.
“i know, i know,” he cooes, and you hear the bottle of lotion being opened just out of your periphery.
his hands make contact with your skin again, feeling the sensation of the cool liquid as he massages it in. his strong hands make their way up and down your back, causing you to arch only slightly, if it wasn’t for him sitting squarely on your ass.
“you’re killing me, logan,” you half-whisper, his actions genuinely taking your ability to speak at a regular volume, the intimacy of it all being just a little too much for you.
“feels good, huh?” he asks, and although you can’t see it, you can tell that he’s cocked his eyebrow at you, and you’re surprised he’s been able to behave himself this long.
his hands work swiftly, massaging the liquid in with long, deft fingers, the sensation driving you crazy.
“logan, i want you, please,” you whine, looking up over your shoulder to meet his gaze, your eyes softening in an almost begging manor.
“i thought you said we weren’t–”
“i lied. i’m a liar. i need you right now,” you beg, as logan stands back up on his knees to allow you to roll over underneath him, him now settled on your thighs.
“fuck, baby, i can’t say no to you,” he huffs, not sure exactly how to make the next move. he looks down at you splayed out in front of him, taking in the sight before him. a hand reaches down to caress down your chest, fingers grazing slightly over your nipple, causing your breath to hitch.
“we have to make it quick, okay? can you be good for me?” he asks, his hand lingering on your left breast.
you let out a whimper, shaking your head slightly.
“words, baby,” he sighs, his fingers massaging into the tissue of your chest.
“yes, i’ll do whatever you want,” you whisper, unable to find your voice with how turned on you were.
“that’s my pretty girl,” logan cooes, leaning down to place a kiss on your lips, adjusting himself so he’s slotted between your legs. the kiss deepens, his tongue finding its way into your mouth, as he swallows your muffled moans, trying to avoid the awkward conversation with his mom later.
“gotta be quiet, baby,” he whispers, his hand running up and down your side, the warmth of his hand searing your sensitive skin.
“god, i feel like we’re in high school again,” you say, rolling your eyes at him.
“except i wasn’t nearly as good then as i am now, though,” he smirks, diving down to leave a trail of kisses from the corner of your mouth to the base of your neck, softly nibbling on your pulse point.
“are you gonna prove it?” you ask, trying to rile him up.
this question evokes something in him, his breath against your skin coming hot and sudden, and you could feel the deep exhale from his nose.
leaning up to your ear, he whispers, “you are such a brat.”
the sensation from the whisper mixed with the sting of his words sends a shock straight to your core. he’s not always the best at dirty talk, but he still somehow knows exactly what to say and when to say it.
“touch me, logan,” you manage to squeak out, your breath growing heavier the more you took in his words, and he was eager to oblige.
with that, the hand that found comfort on your hip trailed its way down between your bodies, grazing the softness of your stomach, fingers oh-so-gently teasing your folds.
“so wet, huh? so worked up for me? you drive me so fucking crazy, you know that?” he growls, his voice rasping as he begins rubbing small circles against your clit with his thumb. “one or two, baby?” he asks, and you know exactly what he means.
“two, please”, you whine into his mouth, body arching up into him before he even has the chance to touch you properly.
“good girl, take it so well,” he groans, sliding two fingers into your cunt, almost too slowly. his voice is almost unrecognizable, the threat of being too loud taking over. his thumb continues its pattern on your clit.
you feel the tension building as he fucks his hand in and out of you, but not before you feel him slowing his pace down.
“i know you wanna come now baby, but we don’t have long. i’m gonna stop, and we can come together, okay?”, he half-whispers.
his hand moves from its spot between your thighs back up toward your lips, as he rests his fingers on your bottom lip, cocking his eyebrow at you.
“o-okay,” you squeak out, and with that, his fingers push past your lips, urging you to suck them clean, and you oblige, swirling your tongue around his digits, tasting yourself on his fingers.
your hands trail down between you two, your fingers dipping underneath his shorts and boxers, toying with the waistband.
logan removes his fingers from your mouth, opting to move back to your jawline, planting lingering kisses along the bone.
“quit teasing, baby, want you on top. let me see those pretty tits of yours, yeah?”, he smirks, knowing that him complimenting your body drives you crazy in the best way.
you oblige with a searing kiss to his lips, opting to pull his shorts down in one motion, cock bobbing free and slapping across his stomach. he reaches down to finish taking them off, throwing them on the floor with your long-abandoned towel.
he rolls you both over with ease, you now on top. your fingertips graze his chest, down to his abs, grabbing his cock and giving it a few quick pumps to make sure he’s ready.
“ready, log?” you ask, your hands now on either side of his head, his blue eyes sparkling back up at you, your hips and ass now up in the air waiting for his cue.
he leans up to chase your lips, trying to kiss you, just out of his reach.
“please, baby, i can’t take it much more,” he begs, using his arms to pull you down to him, sinking down on him, and meeting his lips with yours. now it’s his turn to moan into your mouth.
“fuuuuuck,” is all he’s able to get out, his hands finding their way to your hips, trying to help you relieve the lack of sensation. Your hips roll for the first time over him, and his hips immediately buck up into you.
“patience, baby. i thought i was the desperate one?” your words go right to his cock, making him buck up once again, making you speed up your motions. you feel the effects of his desperation on your body, the coil in your stomach winding tighter with every bounce on his cock.
“fuck, you’re close, baby; so am i,” logan pants, the physicality of it all catching up to him. he knows your body so well; he can always tell when you’re about to come.
with his observation, you lean back with your hands behind you on his thighs, your hips continuing to roll against his body, eliciting a low, grumbling moan from logan. he loved you like that, all cock-drunk and lazy on top of him. it also meant that he had a perfect view of your tits, both his hands reaching to grab at them as he continued fucking up into you.
“these are so fucking perfect. all mine. i can’t believe you’re all mine, baby,” logan pants, both of your movements becoming lazier, as he rolls your nipples in between his fingers, feeling your already-tight walls close in on his cock.
you can feel your orgasm quickly approaching with his presence on your tits, and you know that he isn’t going to last long, either. you lean forward, diminishing the space between you two, giving logan the opportunity to bear hug you. his thrusts up into you send you over the edge, your orgasm ripping through you, causing you to let out a muffled moan onto his right pec. your vision goes slightly blurry for a second until you hear a grunted “fuck, baby”, followed by the feeling of logan’s hips sputtering underneath you. he comes shortly after you, spilling into you.
You collapse onto his chest, your highs riding out together. he doesn’t loosen his grip around your back, planting a sweet kiss to the top of your forehead, pulling out as you lay pitifully on his chest.
“so good for me, baby, so sweet. fuck, i’m so lucky,” he whispers, rubbing your back where, just a few minutes earlier, he was applying aloe lotion. he rolls you both over so that you’re now facing each other on your sides.
you reach a hand up to caress his face, feeling the stubble from a week’s worth of no races, the hair rough against your smooth palm.
“logie, you fucked me so good i almost forgot about this damn sunburn,” you giggled, “but now we’re done and it just hurts again!”
“guess that means i’ll just have to fuck you again,” logan smirked, burying his head into the crook of your neck, eliciting more giggles from you. you begin to hook your leg over his thigh, bringing you even closer, pulling him in for a passionate kiss. you almost begin the cycle over again until you hear a knock on the door that has you both frozen in your tracks.
“dinner!” you hear his mom cheer from the other side of the door, and then her footsteps clearly walking back down the hall towards the kitchen.
“guess not,” you teased, eliciting an eye roll from logan, who quickly gets up to pull you into the bathroom to get cleaned up.

Having followed Logan around the world for a little while, Logan was feeling more comfortable travelling because you and Aurora were with him. He was performing better than expected with the equipment that he had been given.
Logan was sitting in his drivers room on the floor with Aurora sitting in front of him as he played with her on her little play mat. This was the last race before the summer break where Logan was going to go back to London but start looking for a family house so you could all stay there.
Auroras little giggles filled his driver's room as there was a knock on the door, and Oscar walked in with a smile
“There’s my girl” He smiled, sitting on the floor next to Logan. Rolling your eyes while taking a picture of them. Logan still hadn’t told the world about you or Aurora, not that you minded because you got to keep your privacy and Aurora's, although you knew it would come soon enough.
However, you hadn’t expected some camera’s to overhear him and Oscar during the press conference you were currently sitting watching.
Tumblr media
“What are you planning on getting Y/N?” Oscar asked both with the microphones on their laps as they spoke to each other
“I’m not sure. She doesn’t know what she wants either” He shrugged, and Oscar groaned
“What am I meant to buy her then? Maybe like a canvas of you, her and Aurora?” He asked, and Logan nodded
“I guess that’s an option. I was thinking of a little family holiday” Logan answered
“Ohh that’s a good idea. Maybe I could get her a puppy?” Oscar joked, and Logan laughed
“She wants one, but with Aurora still not being that old, it makes it hard. Especially because she’s not at uni anymore, and she’s following me around the world” He chuckled, and Oscar joined in. The interviewer called on Logan to answer a question about the car
Tumblr media
Back in Logan’s driving room you were attempting to get Aurora to have a nap although she had grown into the habit of getting fed from you and cuddling Logan until she fell asleep so she got the best of both parents. Gently bouncing around Logan’s drivers room as you hoped that his interview was almost over
“Come on baby girl please go to sleep” You whispered with a sigh as her cries picked up attempting to think about the next best thing to Logan you opened his driver room door and took the two steps across the corridor knocking on Alex’s door.
Alex pulled the door open with a smile. Lily sat on his couch, smiling over
“Y/N is everything okay?” Alex asked as you shook your head
“Aurora’s got in the habit of Logan holding her until she gets to sleep, and he’s doing the interviews. So is Oscar. You’re the next best thing. Will you hold her?” You asked, biting your lip, hoping that he’d be okay with the request
“Baby cuddles? Who’d ever say no to that?” He asked carefully, taking her from your arms.
“How does Logan normally hold her?” He asked, and you gently moved her within his arms so she was now being held in the normal sleeping position.
“Come take a seat lovely” Lily smiled, tapping the space next to her on Alex’s couch. You looked to Alex to ensure it was okay. Alex nodded with a smile. You didn’t want to intrude on his personal space when you’d already asked him to hold your child.
Sitting down next to Lily as she took pictures of Alex
“I want one” She whined, and you laughed
“Feel free to take mine for a couple of days. You’ll change your mind instantly” You chuckled
“Oh but she’s so cute. She could never do any wrong” You smiled
“She looks so much like Logan as a baby, which makes me a little sad because Logan used to be exactly like her then coming into F1. It changed him. This team has changed him and everytime I see James I want to punch him because I miss the old Logan and deep down I know he’s still there but the way James is treating him makes the old him hide” You sighed and both Lily and Alex nodded
“I agree, and even if I bring it up in meetings, then I get shot down. I don’t understand why they’re treating him like this. If they didn’t want him for the season, then they shouldn’t have signed him again” Alex sighed as you watched Aurora’s eyes flutter shut in Alex’s arms. Lily wrapped her arm around your shoulder, gently rubbing your arm to comfort you.
“He’ll find his team Y/N. He’s still got years ahead of him, and maybe this break is what you need as a family” She smiled, and you nodded. There was a knock on the door as Logan peaked his head around the door
“Alex. You seen” He paused mid sentence as he spotted you
“Found you” He smiled, walking into the room.
“Hey. Aurora wouldn’t sleep because you or Oscar weren’t there, so I came to the next best place” Logan leaned down and pressed a kiss to your lips with a smile you looked up at him
“So we’re trending on twitter” You pressed your lips together as his eyes widened
“What? How?” He asked
“Your microphones picked up  your conversation with Oscar. I would very much like a family holiday thanks” You hummed as he stood back up
“Shit babe. I’m so sorry. I didn’t realise the microphones were that sensitive even that far away. Shit. I’m so sorry, babe. What can I do to make it up to you? I’m so sorry” He rambled, shaking his head as he ran his hand through his hair. Standing up, you walked over to him.
His arms pulled you into his chest as he sighed, still repeating that he was sorry as he whispered into your ear.
“How can you make it up to me?” You teased pretending to think about it
“Apart from that holiday you mentioned. Maybe a dog?” You teased, and he shook his head
“We’re not getting a dog. I’m sorry. I know you want one, but we don’t have the time or space” He sighed, and you nodded
“I know. I’m just teasing you, love. I don’t mind. I’m kinda glad no one knows everything, but it’s still out in the world” You shrugged, and he nodded
“Yeah that makes sense” He smiled, taking Aurora from Alex.
“I’m gonna take my girls back to my room” You smiled, thanking Alex before walking back to Logan’s room with him. Sitting on the couch, you pulled your legs up to your chest, watching Logan with a wide smile
“So obviously we’re getting married during this break. However, I was thinking about our future. Like very far into the future” You nodded, listening to him
“I want another child. Maybe within the next year or so. Aurora will be one very soon. We’ll be married, and at least if I don’t continue in F1, then I’ve got a family there. My second dream that’s kinda more real at the moment”  He explained, and you nodded
“I think having another baby is a brilliant idea, although maybe two years? I’m still kinda recovering from having Aurora” You hummed, and he nodded
“That sounds good to me” He smiled, pressing your lips together.

“Where do you think you’re going, sweetheart?” Tommy asked, taking a quick drag of his cigarette, the white smoke curling up in the cold, bitter air.
You hugged your body with your arms and averted your eyes. “Sir, I have to go home. It’s almost night.”
Tommy raised an eyebrow, amused. “Home? The streets?”
You didn’t have anything to say to that. You were sleeping on the streets, ever since you ran away from your abusive family in London. You had nothing with you but a bag of sandwiches you were carefully portioning, some cash, and the things you were wearing — a light skirt with intricate pink patterns and boots.
“Are you here just to make fun of me?” you said, a little annoyed.
He stepped forward and brushed his fingers against your cheek. You shuddered at the feeling, involuntary leaning into his warm touch, but then you realized what you were doing and backed away.
“Such a pretty girl,” he complimented. When you pulled away, he stopped his caressing, but he didn’t bother to create space between you two. No, he seemed to like the way things were. “Where’s your family?”
“You don’t need to know,” you huffed. You were trying to sound intimidating, but your tone betrayed your emotions. You were vulnerable, without a clue of what to do.
He laughed. “You have some bite, sweetheart. Tell me, what’s your name? I told you mine.”
You hesitated.
“What’s your name?” he repeated, more forceful. “Or do you just want me to call you girl? Perhaps bunny?” He chuckled. “You’re cute like one. Ought to get you some fluffy ears and tail, maybe a collar . . .”
“I’m not a bunny!”
This man was embarrassing you. Why’d he have to say things like that? The idea of you wearing an outfit like that, probably provocative based on the manner he was suggesting, made you feel small and upset. How could he say such things so freely?
“Then what’s your name?”
You grumbled but told him anyway.
“Good girl.”
You ignored the way his words made your body tingle and warm up in all the wrong places.
“Now, did you run away?”
“Why are you so curious?” you questioned, not wanting to tell him. What if he got in contact with your family and found out about the reward they were offering for your return?
“Because you’re a strange girl who shouldn’t be here, on my fuckin’ property, and I like to know who goes on my property and why.”
“Are you a gangster, Mr. Shelby?”
You were starting to think this man wasn’t just some wealthy mayor, but rather a criminal, the kind you were always warned about. He was far too crass to be of a higher class, but he certainly had power, or he wouldn’t be acting this way.
Tommy took another puff of his cigarette. “Ah, so you know a thing or two. Thought you’d be stupid.”
“I’m not—” you cut yourself off, not wanting to engage in such useless conversation. “We’re done here. Goodnight, Mr. Shelby.”
He grabbed your wrist before you could leave. “You think I’m letting you go out there, alone? With no family to keep you safe, no man to protect you? No. You’re coming home with me. I’ll give food, shelter, nice clothes,” he tugged at your dirty dress, “a place to sleep. How does that sound?”
“I don’t even know you!” you sputtered out. “I can’t go to a stranger’s house and live with them.”
His eyes darkened. “And what is the alternative? Lay on concrete? Starve to death? Wait for some bastard to come along and hurt you the way sick men like to hurt little girls?”
You were at a loss. You had nothing to say, no argument to defend yourself. Staying at Tommy’s place sounded comfortable, but you couldn’t.
“I—I can’t.”
Tommy sighed and pulled you closer to him. “I’m just telling ya’, you wouldn’t be a burden on me. I won’t harm you, and I won’t touch you if you don’t want it.”
“You’re touching me right now!”
"There's a difference," he growled, pushing you up against him, his face inches from yours. "I'm protecting you. Do you think I’d hurt you?”
You whimpered, scared. “N-no. I—I don’t know!” you stuttered. “I barely know you, Mr. Shelby.”
You turned your head so you didn’t have to be so close to him, or look him directly in the eyes.
“You’re staying with me,” he said in your ear, his breath tickling your skin.
“. . . Yes, sir,” you breathed out, flustered at the close proximity.
===
Tommy led you back to his apartment. He got you some food and water, a cozy room to sleep in, and a hot bath. He was so generous with everything, and though you were cautious of him at first, you couldn’t help but let your fantasies run wild.
Before you could start daydreaming, Tommy entered the washroom, holding something behind his back.
You shrieked. You had just gotten out of the water and were drying yourself off with the towel, but it was too small to cover your entire body. You squeezed your legs together and covered your chest.
“You can’t be in here!”
Tommy laughed and ignored your words. “Why not? It’s my place.” But he looked away. “You were taking a while, that’s why I came in. I was worried.”
“I’m fine, you can leave now.”
“And what will you wear?”
You didn’t think of that. He hadn’t given you any clothes yet.
He showed you what he was holding, but it didn’t even look like proper clothing, rather undergarments and a skimpy top. You stared at it for a moment, before realizing he was expecting you to take it.
“I can’t wear that,” you protested.
He sighed. “‘I can’t do this’, ‘I can’t do that’, when are you going to learn to do as I tell you? I want to see you wear this, so wear it.”
You didn’t complain after that, though you did hesitate. You made him turn around while you changed, trying to fit the skimpy clothing on your body.
The bra was white and comfortable, but it would easily slip down if someone wanted it to. It accentuated the curve of your tits. It was the sexiest thing you’d ever worn, and you felt horrified at the thought of Tommy seeing you in this thing. It made you feel like a . . . like a prostitute.
The panty barely covered your ass. It was all hanging out for show. What is the point of such outfits? It’s useless! you thought.
“You can turn around now, sir. Just, please don’t stare.”
He did stare, he stared at every part of you like a hungry beast, ready to tear his prey apart. You felt wanted under his gaze, but the whole situation was making you feel a little uncomfortable. You weren’t used to behaving like this, you weren’t used to being around men like Tommy. It was all so new and daunting.
“Walk towards me,” he ordered.
You did so, hugging your body with your arms — a bad habit. Your tits were bouncing slightly with every step, but you made sure it wasn't too obvious. You couldn't help but wonder what your family would think if they saw you like this.
How have you gone from being a rich girl to living on the streets to the arms of a handsome gangster?
“Oh, that’s a nice view, sweetheart.” He licked his lips. “Turn around now.”
You did that as well.
“You see that scrubber on the floor?”
You looked, spotting the thing you used to wash yourself. It must have fallen at some point.
“Yeah, do you want me to pick it up?”
“That’s right.”
You knew your bum would be clear to him if you did, but it was your fault it was on the floor, and you felt bad about it. It was your obligation to pick it up, right? You didn't want to be a poor guest.
"Don't look."
You bent over and picked it up. Mr. Shelby let out a heavy sigh and you immediately felt something poking your behind. He was pressing his body up against you! You tried to get up, but he pushed you back down, holding your waist and shoulder so you didn’t fall over.
“What are you doing?!” You couldn't move with the way he was holding you. It was such a compromising situation, what was he trying to pull?
“You’re so easy,” he groaned. “You don’t question why I want you to wear those things? Or maybe you do know . . . dirty girl.”
He picked and placed you over his shoulders, carrying you through the apartment hallways. He led you over to his room, placing you down on his bed despite you smacking your hands against his back.
“You said you wouldn’t touch me!”
“Only if you didn’t want it. But you want this, don’t you?”
“No!” You tried to get off his bed but he pushed you back down with a thud. “. . . Maybe. I don’t know! I’ve never done this before."
You didn't even know what exactly he wanted to do with you. You were vaguely aware of promiscuous activities ungentlemanly men got up to at night, and that it could sometimes result in babies, but you were uneducated on the details.
His gaze softened. “It’s alright, sweetheart. I know you’re a virgin. I’ll be gentle at first, okay?” He gave you a rough kiss, his tongue flicking against your bottom lip.
"Mmph!"
You tried to push him off you but he wouldn't have any of it. He pinned your arms above your head and continued to ravish you, nipping at your neck with his teeth, running his hands all over your body — your arms, your stomach, your thighs, all the way down to your feet.
His lips finally left yours, but before you could say anything, they were back on.
You couldn't deny, it felt good. This was the best you'd ever felt your entire life, even more so than that one time your desires got the best of you and you tried touching yourself, though that was probably because that time resulted in a swift confession and punishment.
Tommy started grinding his hips between your legs, making you moan against his mouth. He pulled away, still rolling his body. "See? You're enjoying it." He let go of your hands, to which you immediately gripped the back of his shirt. “I know you want this,” he continued. “Say you want this.”
You didn’t say anything, too overwhelmed to respond. You weren’t sure what you wanted.
He stopped and you whined.
“Say you want this,” he said, his nose brushing up against yours. “Say you want me to fuck you.”
“I don’t know, Mr. Shelby. I shouldn’t . . .”
“But you should,” he convinced. “I won’t dump you after I’m done. I’ll take care of you. You’ll live here, with me, okay? You’ll be my sweetheart, my pet.”
He leaned down to kiss you again, but you placed your hands against his chest.
“I don’t know how to have—how to,” you struggled to find the words.
“How to what? Fuck?” He laughed. “I’ll teach ya’. What do you know?”
It felt weird saying it out loud, but you did. “A man and a woman need to be married,” — Tommy huffed at that — “and a man is supposed to take his . . . well, I’m not sure, but he’s supposed to take a part of him and put it inside a woman’s privates.”
“There’s a lot you don’t know,” he said, but he didn’t look upset at your lack of knowledge. “I’ll show you, but first I’ll tell you what I’m going to do. Do you want to know what I’m going to do to you?”
You nodded your head slowly in anticipation, not ready for how vulgar it was going to be.
“I’m going to split you open on my cock and fuck you till you go dumb,” he said, grabbing his crotch. “This thing here, it’s called a cock, and I’ve got the best one you’ll ever see.” He pulled it out, a hard length, too long and thick to possibly fit in you. It was throbbing, with some type of liquid leaking out the top. “Look at it. This is what I’m going to ram inside your holes — all three of them.”
Your breathing hitched and you gasped. “All of them? I don’t understand—”
He interrupted you by forcing two of his fingers down your throat, making you gag and sputter, tears welling up in your eyes. “My cock will go inside your mouth first. It’ll make me feel good. I’ll teach you how to suck properly, how to lick, how to swallow.”
He removed his now wet fingers, letting you relax for a brief moment, but then he flipped you over onto your stomach and pulled your panties down, giving a nice, hard slap to your ass.
You yelped.
He spread your cheeks apart and pushed his finger in your hole, just a little bit, to give you the idea. You squirmed. It didn’t hurt that much, but you were sure if he went further in it would.
“Then here, sweetheart. We’ll spend a lot of time here. It’s always been my favorite.”
You thought about how his cock was supposed to fit in there. His fingers already felt too big.
“It won’t fit—”
“—It will. I’ll shove it in until it does.”
His hand snaked under your stomach and down between your legs. “And here.” He brushed his fingers against your folds and over your entrance. “Your pussy. I’ll fuck it, and you’ll take it, like the good girl I know you are.”
You felt your heart beat against your chest like it was going to jump out. In excitement or fear, you did not know.
“Will it hurt?”
“Yes, and it may even bleed, but only for a while. I promise I’ll make it feel good. Now, flip over and spread your legs.”
You rested on your back and widened your legs, wondering what he was going to do when he placed a pillow under your hips, moved your panty to the side, and kissed your pussy with fervor.
“What are you doing?” you asked curiously, the sensation feeling warm and weird.
“I need to get you ready, and I want to show you what an orgasm feels like.”
“An orgasm?”
“You’ll see.”
He flicked his tongue over your bud, sucking on it, holding your hips in place. It felt like heaven, enough to make you forget your guilt and focus on the way he was eating you out.
“Oh,” you moaned softly, looking down at Tommy. He was looking up at you, observing your reactions, trying to see if this made you feel good or that. He was doing it with such precision, too. It felt sloppy and messy, the sounds of his kisses a loud pucker, but it couldn’t have been unthoughtful, because it felt so good.
He kept doing it. Your body was tingling as he started to get more passionate, finally pushing his tongue inside your pussy.
“Huh,” you let out.
“I’m going to put my fingers inside now,” he told you. “Just relax.” He slid his hand up and down your thigh soothingly. “Relax.”
You loosened your tense muscles and rested your head on the pillow. You shut your eyes, trying to let your thoughts go blank, but the sudden intrusion of his finger was too painful for you to ignore.
“It hurts,” you whispered.
“I’ll go slower.”
He pushed in a little further. He wasn’t going slower, or at least, it didn’t feel like he was.
“How much more needs to go in?”
“About three more quarters of what’s already there,” he guessed. “But I’ll need to put two more fingers in after that, and then my cock.”
You looked down at his cock. It was still open, hanging firm out of his trousers. Huge and thick and fat. You were sure he was lying when he said it would fit. You imagined him trying to push it in, but failing, because how could that possibly make its way inside you?
“I wish it didn’t hurt, sweetheart. I wish I could take away your pain.”
Now his finger was halfway through. It was like someone had placed an object where it was not meant to be. How could this be natural if it was so painful?
“Just a little bit more.” He continued running his other hand up and down your thigh. “You’re taking it so well.”
He pushed the rest of it in, letting it stay for a bit.
“Shh,” he soothed. He brushed your hair out of your face, curling his finger inside. “You’re alright, you’ll be alright.”
He pulled his finger out. There was a bit of blood on it, mixing with your clear juices.
“I’m sorry,” you apologized, looking away. It was disgusting.
“No, don’t apologize. It’s normal. I won’t have you feeling ashamed of yourself.”
He added another and did the same thing. Eventually, he was pushing in and out at a slow, steady pace. It was horribly painful, but it was starting to feel a little good, especially with the way he started licking your pussy again.
“One more. Just one more.”
You cried out. “Too much!”
He didn’t respond.
Your walls were being stretched, and you felt like you were a stretchy piece of fabric about to get ripped apart. But the pleasure of his tongue managed to counter it a little.
You felt a strange sensation in your belly, coupled with pain.
“I—I,” you tried to say.
“I know. Come for me, sweetheart. Come on my fingers.”
You came — whatever that meant. You felt like you were at some peak, a little dizzy in the head, with some substance leaking out of your body.
You panicked, worried it was something else, but to your shock, it was white, and Tommy was lapping it up.
“W-what’s that?”
“Your cum. It’s what happens when you orgasm.”
You nodded your head in understanding, even though you didn’t fully understand. It was like heaven, pure bliss, and as long as it was happening, you were fine with being ignorant. You just wanted to feel that way again, and you wanted to make Tommy feel that way, too.
“Are you ready, sweetheart?”
Tommy took his cock in his hands and gave it a few pumps. You sat up. He pushed the tip to your lips and you gave it a lick. It was an alright taste.
You looked up at Tommy nervously, running your fingers down his length.
“Just leave some kisses along it,” he instructed. “I’m not expecting your first time to be perfect.”
You did as he said. He didn’t make any noises, but you were observant and could tell his breathing was getting a little uneven. When you put his tip in your mouth, his hand went to the back of your head, guiding and gentle.
You pulled away. “Do I just . . . take it all?”
“Yes, sweetheart. It’s okay if you gag, just push it all the way in. Breathe through your nose.”
Calming your nerves, you slipped about a fourth of his cock into your mouth, wetting it, swirling your tongue around the way you did sweets like ice cream.
“Use your hands for what can’t fit.”
You started pumping the rest of his length, the way you saw him do.
Tommy finally made a noise, a little groan. It made you feel more confident that what you were doing was right, so you started sucking more passionately, with more enthusiasm, taking in more of his length — enough to make a difference, but not enough to make you gag.
Tommy let out a little choke and started pushing your head down on him. “Think you can take all of it?”
You couldn’t say anything with your mouth filled, but it was a yes. You wanted to push yourself.
“Good.”
He gave a quick, experimental thrust into your mouth, one that made you gag. Tears welled up in your eyes, but it was gone after a few seconds. It was just so unexpected. It didn’t hurt much, it just felt odd and uncomfortable.
He kept thrusting, pushing his cock deeper and deeper inside your mouth. Every time you thought it couldn’t go any further, he proved you wrong. Now you really were crying. You thought that maybe he would stop, but all he did was make a shushing sound and wipe away your tears.
You tried to make the experience as pleasurable as possible for him, and it seemed to be satisfying enough because he didn’t ask you to do anything different. He just had that blank stare, grunting, the only sounds in the room ones of him and the slurping noise you were making.
After a few more minutes, he told you he was coming, and forced you to swallow his sticky, white liquid.
He pulled out and you coughed.
You went to him for some comfort, but he was already leaving the room.
You were confused, your throat sore, but then he came back with a glass of water and a wet towel. He cleaned off your face and helped you drink. It made you feel much better.
“I’m tired, Mr. Shelby,” you said.
“Such a princess,” he responded. “Have to do some work once and decide you don’t like it? Just want your own pleasure?”
His words made you look down. Now that you knew how it felt to orgasm that was all you wanted to do, but you would be lying to yourself if you said you didn’t enjoy your mouth on Tommy’s cock. You were sure that you would get used to it after a few more times, and soon it would stop feeling so uncomfortable.
“No.”
“It’s okay. All you have to do now is take it.”
You remembered his words. He was going to take your ass next.
“Can’t we wait a bit—?”
“No,” he growled, pushing you on your hands and knees. “I’ve waited too fuckin’ long.”
Waited too long?
“And besides,” he continued. “Don’t you want this?”
“Yeah,” you said quietly. “But I just want a little break—”
He slapped your ass hard and you cried out. “What do I have to do to make you listen to me, huh? Is it a good spanking? ‘cause I can do that.”
“No,” you whimpered. “I’ll be good, m’sorry.”
He spanked you again, pulling your underwear all the way down and tossing it to the side of the room. “I think I do want to spank you. Pretty, rich girls like you don’t get much discipline, eh?”
You did, but you didn’t know how to say it.
He pulled your top down a little, to reveal some small scars. You knew he could see them, but you couldn’t see his reaction.
“Are you going to be a good girl for me?” he asked.
“Yes, yes!”
“And what does that mean?”
“It means doing as you tell me, sir.”
Satisfied with your response, he rubbed your sore ass, trying to make it feel better.
He grabbed a bottle from the nightstand and applied it on his hands. “This is lube, sweetheart. It’ll reduce the friction.”
He slid his lubed-up finger in your ass and you hissed.
It was the same process he did with your pussy. He pushed in and out, stretching out your hole. It hurt, and you were sure it was bleeding a little, but after a while, it began to feel pleasurable.
Tommy’s fingers started rubbing your clit, distracting you from the pain. He pressed the tip of his fat cock in your ass, shoving it inside it.
“Mr. Shelby, slow down!” you squeaked out.
He didn’t listen. He pushed his cock further in, and it made you feel like your insides were going to snap if he stretched them too much.
“Mmm,” you winced, “is that all?”
“Fuck. That’s only half.”
Tommy held your shoulder with his other hand on your waist. “So tight,” he murmured, pushing further in. “You’re going to make a good pet, I can tell.”
The term was degrading, but you didn’t say anything, not like you had the guts to when he was inside you, not after he warned you that you would get a spanking if you didn’t behave like a good girl.
“Oh, Mr. Shelby.”
He pushed himself all the way in. You felt so full of his cock, and you had half a mind to ask him to stop. He was beginning to move, slowly at first, making sure that you were okay with it.
“You alright, sweetheart?” Tommy asked. The hand on your waist moved to your top, his fingers sliding underneath it.
“Y-yeah.”
“Good.”
He picked up the pace, his balls slapping against your body. Suddenly, the force of his thrusting was pushing you forward, the only thing stopping you from falling over was his grip. You cried out, the pain and pleasure too much for you to handle.
Your breasts started to bounce, but their movement was being held by the top he gave you, which Tommy slowly pulled up. Tommy pinched your nipples, flicking them, twisting them, pulling on them, whatever he wanted. You whined, half-heartedly trying to shove him away, but while he did stop, he was still cupping your breasts in his hands, continuing to ram your ass.
‘This is what I want from you,” he grunted, thrusting his cock deeper and deeper inside. “Most days, I’ll want to fuck you like this. I’ll — ah — I’ll expect you to be ready on your hands and knees when I tell you to.”
Occasionally, you could feel the scrape of his pants against your skin, reminding you that his clothes were still on. You moaned when he started rubbing your clit more vigorously.
“Spread your legs further apart,” he ordered.
You did, which only made him gain access to a deeper part inside of you.
He continued his brutal assault for a couple more minutes until he changed his position. He forced you to lay down on your stomach while he draped his body over your back, thrusting stiff and rough. Now, he could start kissing your shoulders, the back of your neck, any part of your body he couldn’t reach before.
He finally came into your hole, his whiteness spurting out. You could feel it drip out and down your thighs. You tried to wipe it away but he wouldn’t let you.
He flipped you over on your back. He took off your top completely, admiring your naked body. Despite the fact that this man had just taken your virginity, his hungry stare made you cover yourself up. You supposed it was because you weren’t used to it.
“Oi!”
You immediately sprawled your body, fearing a reprimand.
“There ya’ go.”
He grabbed another wet towel and wiped off your body. He told you it was important, to keep clean and safe.
As you expected, he didn’t give you much of a break. In this hour, you figured that he could only fuck you — or prefer to — when his cock was hard, and within a few moments, it was already starting to rise up.
Once he got his cock inside your pussy, all the way in, despite your squirms, he started fucking — rough, hard, and fast.
“So good,” he praised. “So good for me.”
You whined in response. He was gripping your waist like his life depended on it, making sure you couldn’t squirm or move away.
“You’re learning so well. Keep still.”
His movements were making the bed and your body shake. You whined, pathetic mewls leaving your mouth. You really weren’t sure how much more of this you could take. Your limbs were starting to feel sore and your mind foggy, like if you didn’t take a break you would pass out from the sheer intensity of the moment alone.
But you didn’t want to. You fought to open your eyes. You didn’t want Tommy to know you couldn’t take it anymore, that would be embarrassing.
He finally came inside of you, locking your hips together as he murmured something about your breasts getting bigger and swollen, which you didn’t understand, but didn’t ask for clarification regardless.
He pulled out and collapsed beside you, droplets of sweat trickling down his forehead. He was exhausted, and so were you.
After taking a few minutes to yourselves, Tommy said, “I’m never going to let you go, you hear me? Never.”
You didn’t say anything. Somewhere in all that fucking you had accepted your fate. You belonged to Thomas Shelby now, and that was just the way things had to be.
“I ran away,” you finally confessed. “My family . . . they weren’t nice to me. Promise me,” you said seriously, looking into Tommy’s beautiful eyes. “Promise me you won’t send me back. If . . . if you don’t want me anymore, you can just send me on my way, not back to them. Promise?”
Tommy laughed, as if what you had just said was absurd.
“I won’t let you go back to your family. Those oil bastards.”
You paused. How did he know they were in the oil business?
“How did you—?”
“Shhh.” Tommy placed a finger over your lips, silencing your words. “You’re tired. It’s time to sleep.”
“But—”
“Sleep.” He caressed your face, running his fingers through your hair. You couldn’t fight the command, you were truly feeling sleepy, and all you wanted to do was shut your eyes and rest.
But that nagging thought in your head. How did he know?
He didn’t give you any more time to think. He pulled you close to him, close enough so that your head was resting on his shoulder and your legs were draped over his body.
“Sweet dreams. Tomorrow we’ll have a few more rounds. You’ll need your rest.”
And with that, your eyes fluttered shut and you were taken away into the abyss of darkness, into your dreams.
