shirakumo was also the one who pulled aizawa out of his depressive funk (which came back full-force after shirakumo died), gave him his first pair of goggles, and they were generally considered 'a duo' (and a bff trio with mic & an internship trio with midnight) by everyone else. aizawa won his first solo fight by hallucinating (?) that shirakumo was cheering him on, which made the reveal after that he'd been killed before the fight even more tragic. shirakumo meant THE WORLD to aizawa :(
