Well, I like Yoru because we basically witnessed her growing up and evolving into the person she is today — with all the ups and downs. Besides the obvious that since SPPF is so dear to me, so is Yoru. I "dislike" a few things about her, too - she is not without fault (perfect characters are boring imo). Though understandable from her POV, I dislike that she's self-deprecating and tends to blame stuff on herself. She needs to realizes a few things along the road, I suppose :)

Her love for her family, friends, and the cats. Also, she can be snippy and funny at times :)

Oh, I would love to do crossovers to other shows. Like, there could be a freak quirk accident or something. I would like to see her in AOT (more trauma, yay!), Saiki K would be fun, too. JJK would be too big of a project (not that the others are realistic for me to do). Other than that, it would be hilarious to have some MHA characters get isekai-ed into our "real" reality. Harry Potter would kind of be fun, too.

Well, the ringtone Shota has set for her, but you guys don't know the song yet (though it's secretly hidden in the prequel🤫) but other than that it's hard to decide - I've got multiple spotify playlists for SPPF, but I think a song that fits Yoru well is The Killing Kind by Marianas Trench. She feels haunted by her past, especially what happened to her parents. It might also make a bit more sense in the future.

I am sorry I am going to disagree on a couple of these.

First, it was normal for pjms to be upset about jimin not winning. I saw them calling out that k account for misguiding k army. I don't understand how calling out fans for not voting = hating on jk winning. It would have been best to ignore them and let them deal with it, instead of constantly quoting them or replying to them with "You'll jealous jk won", or "you'll hate jk won" or whatever. No, cause what do people think the response from them would be?

Secondly, why are jikookers always in pjms' business but snoozing when jjks were tagging military accounts? Didn't see any of talk against it.

Everytime pjms or anyone in the fandom says "jm didn't get xyz" and others are like oh that's jk shade, ur hating jk, u hate jk's success or whatever. Can't even talk about jimin not getting something coz apparently now that's hating jk. I am so tired of jikookers and jjks.

Can we not twist everything into hating jk. This constant inserting of jk and victimizing him is getting annoying.

Do you want to know how I see it? I think both the previous anon that I posted and you (and a bunch of similar asks that I got in the meantime) are both right. What is impossible - because of the current climate and how a fandom works - it's more difficult to see it. For now, being in the middle of it, is about taking sides. It's a ongoing fight that sees no end and fans need to choose.

What you and the other anon are doing is simply expressing your views on the situation, which are determined by the online spaces which you inhabit. And again, you're both right. I'm not trying to say there's no factual reality here and each group/person is building its own (although we do that to some degree, but it's not about that), but that the things we see on our timeline shape our perception.

From where I'm sitting, it looks like everything that is happening today is the result of the mentality bred by a fandom that operates like a cult and influenced by label propaganda. BTS is seven and all are treated equal brainwashed the fans in the first stage, which was the perfect recipe for solo fans as they know it is impossible. We all do. Army is following company narrative, as always. If the main goal was for the last 6 months to focus most of their attention on the Golden project, then army will follow. They will always follow. Of course they listened to that account who tells them how to vote. Of course they listen each time an army uses the solo narrative excuse. I mean, aren't we all tired of the same 20 words used in this fandom in different variations? It is a limited vocabulary, used by armys, solos, shippers and what like. I feel like dynamics where there’s some obstruction of sorts from it being just a regular happy healthy relationship is my fav ever because. It means there’s so much more yearning and pining involved and it’s so much more emotional I LOVE ITTTAUGHH and aroace spec reader is a great example of that. I feel like the main kinda reasoning (“obstruction”) would be how reader views the relationship they have with stsg and how they feel about it, the way it’s supposed to be just a regular platonic friendship but there’s so much unaddressed care and deep rooted love (that maybe reader doesn’t want to address) and it’s just a confusing mess of emotions. Reader being hesitant to accept that maybe it’s more than just a friendship because they aren’t 100% sure what those complex feelings that undoubtedly come with being ‘friends’ with stsg are. it’s supposed to be just a regular platonic friendship but there’s so much unaddressed care and deep rooted love (that maybe reader doesn’t want to address) and it’s just a confusing mess of emotions.

OLLIE I SWEAR WE’RE CONNECTED THROUGH THE AROACE HIVEMIND BC THIS WAS EXACTLY MY THOUGHT PROCESS TOO 😭😭😭 it’s just such a tasty scenario because i feel like stsg would be in denial about their feelings at first, but then (once they’ve come to terms with it!!) approach reader immediately… i kinda pictured it as stsg already being a couple, and then confessing to reader with the hope of them joining their relationship……… and it’s so difficult because reader doesn’t really know where their feeling lies between platonic and romantic, don’t really care about the specifics, they just know that they love them and cherish them but now they feel pressured to put a label on it and i think that would just make them panic.

and it’s not at all intentional on stsg’s side !!! they’re half expecting reader to reject them, but they’re just so sincere and tender about the confession. and i think that they just won’t be able to understand reader’s feelings even when they try to explain it :’3 because reader does like them. love them. but they don’t know if it’s romantic, and they don’t really want to know. and even if they knew for sure, they might not care for a standard relationship anyway!! it would just take a lot of understanding and support from stsg to even have that conversation without reader running away, but i think they’re both so gentle when it comes to you :(( they’re always willing to hear you out, and even if they don’t understand all the aspects of being aroace, that doesn’t mean they won’t support it.

Note: I knoe it's a christmas fic so I wanted to do a little fluffy fic w/ dad gojo but uhhhh I decided to go for something a bit solemn (but still lots of fluff) coz I also wanted to commemorate the release of jjk movie. This was set in 2017 and u guys know what happened on the 24th of dec that year (＾◡＾)っ✂♡

11:18 pm and you’re watching some reality cooking show on your couch, idly wasting your time so you don’t feel bored waiting for gojo to come home. you normally wouldn’t be at home waiting at this time during december 25th as you’ve always been dispatched to various places in japan—as all other sorcerers are—because curses are a huge pain in the ass who love attacking places with lots of people especially during festive times, causing you and gojo to celebrate christmas at 24th instead since you became a couple. however, due to the situation jujutsu tech had yesterday, you and gojo weren’t able to do your yearly christmas eve celebration (you both also weren’t in the mood considering exactly what happened), and with the little life you had growing in your belly, you were forbidden (by gojo) to go out on missions either.

12:09 am and you’re dozing off with the tv on mute until you hear the door open, a tired and quiet i’m home reaching your ears. it’s a very familiar and welcome sound, but not quite like your husband. sensei? you hear him ask attached to your name, stopping upon seeing you awake sitting on the couch. you softly smile at him, relieved he’s safe. welcome home, megumi, how was your mission? he frowns as a respond, a sign he doesn’t want to talk about it. you shouldn’t be up this late, gojo-sensei’s gonna get worried, he continues. you wave your hand, dismissing him. it’s fine, i’m not really sleepy yet. his frown deepens, and he was about to say something but was cut off by his own yawn. you chuckled, finding his expression cute. i'm not sleepy yet, but you obviously are. go to your room and rest.

12:11 am and megumi tries to protest, eager to make you sleep before he does, so he tries walking towards where you’re sitting. you stand and sternly shake your head, telling him you can wait for a bit more but he definitely cannot, and that he’s still growing so he needs plenty of rest. he sighs then turns around, knowing there’s no really use fighting a pregnant woman (though he’s totally on the right, and gojo’s definitely going to be worried sick if he knew you were staying up waiting for him). he starts slowly climbing up the stairs, muttering a good night, sensei. you walk to the bottom of the steps, leaning against the wall. good night, megumi, take a rest. he looks at you then nods, once again yawning loudly. you smile and start walking back to sit on the couch before shouting, but not before changing your clothes! which earned you a sleepy yees.

1:54 am and gojo unlocks the door, about to say i'm home! where's my gift? into an empty room but was immediately stopped upon seeing a beaming wife excitedly running towards him like a child before feeling your arms envelope his neck and your lips briefly pressed onto his. welcome home, 'toru, merry christmas. you tiptoed then pecked his cheek, and he felt his heart immediately clench at your childlike behavior but was replaced with worried when he realized what time it is. he placed a hand on your bump and kissed your forehead, smiling hesitantly. merry late christmas, baby, but why are you still awake? you smiled at him once more (and he's barely stopping himself from squishing you in a bear hug). i was waiting for you, you cheerfully respond. taking his hand to start dragging him into the kitchen.

2:03 am and you're in the middle of slicing the cake when you suddenly notice gojo just quietly watching you, leaning against the sink. 'toru… you call softly, reaching for his hand. he takes yours and slowly walks towards you, speaking. baby, you really should rest. it's two am—we could still celebrate later when you wake up. you pout, feeling the upcoming tears before answering. but i haven't seen you all day… your lips quiver and you bite back a sob, and i miss you…you turn around, not wanting him to see you crying over something so trivial. he panics immediately upon hearing your sobs, partly because he doesn't want you to feel upset and tired, and partly because he still isn't really used to seeing his wife being emotional.

2:14 am and gojo's just holding you close to his chest, kissing every part of you his lips could reach as an attempt to shush you from crying. 'm sorry, you manage to say in between sobs, i know you're probably not in the mood to do something like this, another sob followed by a light cough. gojo starts rubbing your back before speaking, no, no, honey, shh. you sob again, you can go to sleep if you want, megumi's also back home and safe. pregnancy's just making me more sensitive lately, you sniffed, opting to use your hand to cover your face and cry harder. he gently removes both of your hands from your face before placing them on either of his shoulder, leaning down to cup your face and touch your forehead with his. baby, baby, no, i promise i wanna spend time with you. he then went to the kitchen counter and pulled you in front of him, grabbing the knife before slicing the frosting-covered sponge cake with strawberries and a little chocolate santa sitting at the stop.

2:17 am and gojo’s placing one slice of cake each on three plates. still teary-eyed, you ask him if he’s sure he doesn’t want to sleep yet and he flashes you a guilty smile before placing a hand on your bump, telling you that he isn’t really sleepy yet, but he’s worried about you staying up too late because it’s not good for our little dumpling. you place your hand atop of his, explaining that you practically slept the whole day after the first years visited you in the morning before getting dispatched, megumi tagging along with them. he gives you a sigh, accepting his defeat. do you want me to go wake megumi? he asks instead, gesturing to the extra plate of cake. you told him yes, but only if he wants to eat and open presents with us. gojo thinks about it for a moment, what if he says no? you answer with then let him sleep and he gives you a mischievous grin before leaving the kitchen. you suddenly feel bad not only for megumi but also for having to deal him with his teacher right after being woken up at this hour.

2:52 am and you're down to the last few presents, heart feeling full after seeing that most of them were for the little one inside your belly. megumi opens another gift containing a set of baby clothes with matching bibs inside, prompting gojo to speak with an incredibly high-pitched loving voice that maybe you should wear those for a while, megumi. you would look absolutely cute in them~. the boy in question glares at him before snarkily retorting. i think it'd fit you better, gojo-sensei, considering how much of a baby you can be with your whining and pouting. you laugh at the white-haired man's i'm-hurt-and-offended-but-you're-right reaction before excusing yourself to the bathroom. you hear your husband huff at the sleepy spiky-haired boy before asking you as you're out of the living room if you want me to accompany you, darling?~ earning him a grunt, megumi clearly not enjoying his teacher's overly doting behavior.

2:55 am and you come back holding two long boxes, one thin and about the length of your upper arm, the other one quite thick and as long as your whole arm. you chuckle as you see them still bickering, only stopping to look at you and the things you're holding quizzically. you hand the longer one to megumi, smiling softly as he shyly mutters a quiet thanks, sensei. you affectionately ruffle his hair in return, his cheeks coloring a light pink at your action. you turn to gojo and see him beaming at you whole exchange with his student as you give your husband the other remaining one, kissing him on the cheek. merry christmas, my boys, you grin as you return to sit at the couch while they remain sitting on the floor. the 15-year-old inspects the gift, yawning as he tells you that he’d open it later upstairs when he’s alone. the 28-year-old on the other hand, has already torn the wrapper and opened the box, revealing a piece of indigo cloth. he looks at you, you give him a meaningful smile.

3:21 am and you and gojo are walking towards your shared bedroom, passing through megumi’s on the way. you peek through the slightly ajar door, giggling as you see the teenager carelessly laying down on his stomach with feet hanging off the bed (you think he plopped down right after getting in). your husband fully opens the door, silently laughing at megumi’s position. he snakes one arm around your waist, putting his head on top of yours. he tried really hard staying awake for you, he says. your answer was a whispered he really did, didn’t he? as you fully enter the room, getting a blanket from his closet and tucking the shikigami user under the sheet (the duvet is stuck under his body, and getting it would wake him up). sleep well, ‘gumi, you then lean in to press a light kiss the top of his head. gojo watches the scene before him, heart fluttering upon seeing your motherly nature.

4:25 am and gojo’s staring at the ceiling, comforted by the feeling of his pregnant wife drooling on his chest deep asleep. he's glad you finally decided to sleep, feeling nothing but worry the whole time you were celebrating. he on the other hand, could not get even a wink of sleep though he hasn’t been sleeping well for the past two days. he actually wasn’t planning on telling you anything about what happened at school in christmas eve, knowing you’d just worry about gojo and the first years the whole time as well as grieve for his best friend’s death which in turn would lead to stress—very bad for mama and little dumpling. however, as expected, you immediately noticed that something was bothering him no matter how hard he tried acting normal when he came home. he sighed, switching his gaze to you, thankful you weren’t anywhere near jujutsu tech during the whole fiasco.

5:03 am and gojo’s had enough of overthinking. looking down, he noticed he hasn’t changed at all since he came home. though he’s had his infinity on the whole time he was exorcising curses, he absolutely would not risk getting even a bit of curse goo on his beloved wife. so he carefully removes your sleeping form clinging to him and heads to the ensuite bathroom, opting for a short warm shower to cleanse his body. he heads to your shared closet right after to find a fresh and comfortable sweats, making a noise of confusion when he couldn’t find one (probably because you like wearing his clothes all the time, he doesn’t mind though, he secretly loves it). he moves to the corner, eyes widening upon seeing what’s behind all the clothes you and he owns.

5:12 am and gojo grabs the monochrome box stuffed in the corner of the closet, confused why he’s never seen them before as he tries making sense of what’s written on the card attached despite the dim lighting of the room. he feels his heart drop accompanied by a plethora of unidentified emotions upon reading the characters undoubtedly made by your own handwriting. he finds nine more, all gifts addressed to the very same person he had killed the other day. i'm glad you finally found them, ‘toru, he hears your voice suddenly say, sitting up and looking at him with sleepy eyes. he stares at you, dumbfounded, trying to find the right words. you smile before walking towards him and burying your face in his chest. he can feel your emotion as he hugs you back, and he finally understands what you’re trying to convey without either of you speaking.
