Cobalt is a hard, lustrous metal that is only found within the Earth's crust in combination with other elements. It is light gray in its isolated form, but when ground down or combined, it produces a vibrant blue pigment that has been used since antiquity to color porcelain and glass.
Park āRulerā Jaehyuk was one of the five original members of Gen.G, with his debut team being the Samsung Galaxy roster that won Worlds in 2017 and was then bought by KSV E-sports. Ruler would stay with Gen.G for the team's first five years, staying long after all of his former teammates left the LCK and gaining a reputation for his fierce loyalty to both the team and the few supports he played beside.
The only other team Ruler has ever played for, excepting his appearances on Team Korea in both the 2018 and 2022 Asian Games, is Jingdong Gaming, an LPL team which he joined in 2023 following EDG Viper's return to the LCK. Before leaving for China, Ruler stated on stream that the only LCK team he ever wants to play for is Gen.G and that Gen.G is the team he hopes to retire from.
Following Ruler's instatement in 2023, JDG was wildly successful, winning the LPL in both spring and summer as well as the Mid-Season Invitational. Ruler is the second player after and only player other than Deft to achieve the feat of winning the LCK (summer 2022), the LPL (spring 2023 and summer 2023), M.S.I. (2023), and Worlds (2017).
Despite originally signing a two-year contract that would keep him for 2025, on October 27th, Ruler officially left JDG. It is yet unknown where he will sign for the upcoming season, though he has suggested that he may be looking to finally return to the LCK.
This post is part of @enarrativesā LoL Esports Elemental Series.
#lolelements#jdg ruler#i really read āa blue more precious than gold for a chinese vaseā#and was like... that's just Ruler?#i am very curious where he will end up for 2025#because i know i mention his loyalty here#but i honestly think he might play with another lck team#we shall see

ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT, I HAVE THOUGHTS ON THIS. They're still rather scrambled, so bear with me while I'm trying to get them in order. So, what do we have? Let's summarize first:
In late March of 2025, we will get another PV (Promotional Video), more specifically, another music video. In contrast to the "Butterfly" PV we got on August 1st 2024, featuring newly animated/interpreted scenes from the OG Adventure anime, this one will play to "Brave Heart" and will show what'll happen between "now" (presumably after the events of Kizuna/The Beginning) and the infamous epilogue of 2028. It'll be produced by Hiroyuki Kakudou (!), who also drew the poster depicted above. It'll be animated by Yumeta Company, which was already responsible for Kizuna, The Beginning and the previous PV - and the character designs of Taichi and Yamato we've been shown were made by Rie Nishimura, chief animation director of The Beginning.
It will depict all the characters as adults, and "you will see Agumon (!!!) and their team working together a little differently than before. I think it will be especially pleasing to all of you who have always believed that you have a partner Digimon as well".
OH BOY, WHERE DO I EVEN BEGIN??? Beware of some rambles under the cut:
Seeing how Kakudou had just recently commented on Taiorato in a somewhat official interview, you can say that I am genuinely surprised to see him return to such a project. A project that, dare I say it, feels like it could potentially be the final chapter, the definite closure to the Adventure timeline...? It is meant to finally summarize what'll happen until we get to the epilogue. Which is interesting if you consider that Tri and the previous two movies all told somewhat separate stories revolving around "outside characters" (Meiko, Menoa and Rui) without really breaking through the status quo. Granted, we had a few very... Mixed messages in between, questioning the reasoning behind, the foundation of partnerships, dealing with separation, isolation and sacrifices for various side and main characters alike. There was a lot of heartbreak, but Digimon wouldn't be Digimon if there wasn't also always room left for a hopeful note.
And seeing how Kakudou, who had been mostly absent from the previous projects, seems to tackle this "in between" period is very interesting to say the least. There are so many loose threads to tie up that one probably cannot fit all of them in one music video. Nevertheless, this may be his final say in how he wants to see the timeline "end" for his characters. We can already assume that the fighting scene depicted above implies the FINAL return of Agumon and Gabumon, giving closure to Kizuna's ending... But there are still so many other questions unsolved (including Sora's and Piyomon's return to the group as well).
Granted it's always possible that they might use this as a stepping stone to a new series and, really... I wouldn't be opposed to that at all, because these character designs are probably among the best we have gotten in years. You may know that I have my love/dislike relationship with the Kizuna designs and The Beginning had improved on it slightly (Hikari was still the biggest win of the century in my book), but still felt like there was room for growth...
But this? This looks promising as heck and it absolutely has evolved/changed from what we've gotten before. And it's also pretty curious, leaving room for speculation.
Remember how Kizuna basically framed Yamato to be mostly prim and proper with his neatly cut "old" haircut, the hipster glasses, stylish biker jacket, green shirt, while pants and his motorcycle? He was obviously still very distinctly Yamato, especially when you put him next to Taichi and Takeru, but he was very... Well, neat, prim and proper. We know both him and Taichi have been on their way of reconnecting with their true selves, passions and goals post Kizuna, so... Having Kakudou decide on giving Yamato his 02!haircut back is HUGE. And has two potential implications:
02's intention had always been to show a side of Yamato that was more chill. Granted, he still had his emotional outbursts and strong opinions, but he was allowed to be goofy, silly and live for his music. He may never be a 100% people-y person (and never really fancied the fan attention either) and that is perfectly fine, because... Then he wouldn't be Yamato. But he still enjoyed playing his harmonica, playing bass, singing in his band. Personally, I always found that change a bit drastic, but boy needed to figure himself out, grow his hair out and give his emotions an outlet. Having him return to such a state visually is simply... Interesting. Especially because most recent fandom depictions (mostly on the Jyoumato side) have depicted him in his "rockstar aesthetic" as well, INCLUDING the piercing (!). It may just be a temporary state, but it still implies that something in him has changed, bringing him back on track, slowly but steadily.
What does this mean from a production point of view? My personal guess would be - and I could be completely wrong here, so take this with a grain of salt -, that Kakudou wants to put his foot down. Yamato was among those characters who lived through various hairstyle changes in recent years (to the point of returning to his signature hair in Kizuna, probably for nostalgia/promotion reasons if Koushirou's hairstyle change back to his Adventure hair gives you any clue). 02!Yamato is Kakudou's Yamato. This is going to be HIS vision and thus, we're likely to see a LOT of things he would have liked to portray in the previous iterations as well. Whether or not that means he will adjust the FINAL outcome of the epilogue, changing singular aspects about it or not, remains to be seen... Because we know that Yamato's final hair did not look like it does in the concept art, so he may go through more changes after reuniting with Gabumon. We'll see.
When it comes to Taichi, I do not have a lot to add here. If you've read all my analysis posts before, you know how much I hope for my boy to find happiness again, to finally find his path, reunite with his partner... Seeing him wear wide clothes as he does in the poster feels very reminiscent of his "young" self again, so I am curious to see where we're headed with him. Until then... Excuse me while I keep swooning over his concept art (and get absolutely giddy just thinking about how the others may look like!!!), I am absolutely in AWE of how gorgeous he looks there. I cannot wait to see his signature smile again in this art style...
I know, no matter what we'll get, not all answers will be answered. There will still be controversies, there will still be fandom wars (probably). Kakudou wants us to get that final note, that future where everyone will end up with a Digimon partner (despite all the hardships - and everything we went through with the previous three bigger projects in this timeline). Not everybody will be happy with what we'll get.
But I'm still looking forward to it.
Edit: It's also possible that Kakudou will just completely ignore everything that happened post 02 and just go straight from there. We will have to see.

Hello š„°, I know you've received bunch of asks like this and you're probably tired but please bear with me.
So it's about the discourse of taekook "outing" themselves. I personally think it's silly to assume they'll do it I'm 2025. If anything that year will be the last one on their list.
So I believe that taekook are together and this thought about them announcing they are couple has been scratching my brain forever. And before, I thought that sooner (let's take 3 years) was as silly as thinking they'll do it in 2025. But then I've recalled that live of tae where he was sleeping in the dark in 2023.
It still haunts me to this day. For some others outside the taekook bubble, they might think it's not that big of deal but I think it's kinda huge. It was risky to sleep beside Jungkook during a live. And I think we assumed the latter was sleeping too right? Imagine he woke up and called his name. Or even said something that would have been obvious that it was him.
All of this to say that the live for me was one of many example of what taekook especially taehyung is able to do when it comes to their relationship. We might not have a big announcement about their relationship in the near future, but I think we'll have something not far from it.
Thank you.
Hi anon!
Mmm, that live was really something, I think some are still unsure if there actually was someone next to him, personally I'm pretty convinced that there was and it would make sense to me for it to be Jk. That live was one of three, that to me kinda belong together.. starting with the live where Tae plays To find you.. and ending with this one. The whole to me feels as Tae having missed Jk and Jk going straight from the airport to Tae (with Hawaii fresh in our memories.. not an odd thing at all).
I rember there having been discourse on wether this was risky for him to do or not. I was and still am of the opinion that Tae was the only one to decide wether that risk was actually there. He knows Jk's sleep better than anyone, so if he felt it safe to go live.. I take it he was sure that Jk would stay asleep. As fans.. we cannot say anything about the possible risk at all. Also.. the risk is theirs to take, not ours to judge.
Are there people who think they will come out next year? I would love that freedom for them obviously, but coming out when also making a comeback as BTS seems highly unlikely to me. My thoughts are generally that it will take 5 years at least, but more likely ten. I can see them move into a more glass closet situation. Having enlistment done, having been away from each other for so long.. I can imagine them wanting to be able to be together more. I'm very much divided between the business side and the emotional side.. and I have found that I have a hard time deciding which side will 'win'. Because for BTS to reunite (and probably a lot of money is at stake) I find it unlikely that they will be coming out or even moving into a glass closet situation soon. Emotionally though, I think they would in a heartbeat. If I had to take bets, I'd say reunion first.. moving into a glass closet situation after a year or 4, coming out for real after ten years. I think Tae and Jk being able to be publicly close like they have last year is already something they both wanted... I am curious to see how things will go in 2025.

Dearest mutual. I know nothing of formula 1. Why are the ferrari and red bull brands fighting???
oh frosty i am so so so glad you asked bc now i get to be insane.
(this got super long so I essentially have an essay below the cut. if you're curious about formula 1, give it a read!)
Ok so first let me get into a few key people in this. Lewis Hamilton is a 7 time F1 World Drivers Champion and he has the most race wins of anyone in F1 history. He is regarded as one the best if not THE best F1 driver of all time. He has been on the Mercedes team since 2013 and has won 6 of his WDCs with them.
However, in 2021, he lost the championship to Max Verstappen of team Red Bull in a controversial final race in Abu Dhabi. Max Verstappen has been the WDC since 2021, winning in both the the 2022 and 2023 season. His 2023 season broke records I believe, winning 19 out of 22 races. Not only is Verstappen an incredible driver, just a real force to be reckoned with on the race track, but Red Bull's F1 cars are just fucking insane, especially in 2022 and 2023 because of new regulations leading to a new designs. It literally sounds like a fucking rocket and he wins by large margins.
On the other hand, the Mercedes cars that dominate from 2013 to 2020 took a huge dip in 2022 due to the new designs because of new regulations, and Hamilton has been very vocal about these cars not being up to par. Hamilton has always been very loyal to Mercedes, so it came as an extreme shock when it was announced on Feb 1st that he would be moving to team Ferrari in the 2025 season. Like imagine if when Zayn left 1D he went to 5SOS. Or if a member of Stray Kids joined BTS. Idk what else to compare it to but it was fucking insane, which is why I got into F1 because I was like "ok idk what's going on but I do want to know." However, with Hamilton moving to Ferrari in 2025, this means that Carlos Sainz is essentially fired from Ferrari (also I should have mentioned this before, there are 10 F1 teams and each team has two drivers). Charles Leclerc is Ferrari's favorite, I've seen him being referenced as the 'Prince of Ferrari' by fans. So it came as no surprise that soon after Hamilton announced he's joined Ferrari in 2025, Sainz issued a statement that he and Ferrari would be parting ways at the end of 2024.
So now the definite line up for Ferrari in 2025 is Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc. Max Verstappen is also staying with Red Bull but the future of Sergio "Checo" Perez is uncertain. His contract is up at the end of 2024 and there have been rumors that he might be replaced.
Carlos Sainz has not signed with another team for 2025, at least not publicaly, so there is a lot of speculation on where he may go next. He is the only driver not from Red Bull who won a Grand Prix in 2023. Verstappen won 19, Perez won 2, and Sainz won 1. While everybody else I mentioned in this post did have a higher standing in the final rankings of the 2023 season, Sainz did get a trophy, and that's a result that matters.
2025 is going to be an incredible season to see the fight between Hamilton and Verstappen. Hamilton signing with Ferrari after finished 12 years with Mercedes shows he's really doing whatever is takes to get that 8th WDC, because that would make him the F1 driver with the most world championships of all time. Verstappen is a favorite to be the 2024 Champion, so he will probably be defending the title.
Now let's say that Perez doesn't renew his contract and Sainz has a good season this year. There is a non-zero chance that he could sign with Red Bull. Sainz was in their F1 academy, and he was beat out for the Red Bull F1 seat by Verstappen at the beginning of their F1 careers. I would literally do anything to see real hard racing between Carlos Sainz for Red Bull and Charles Leclerc for Ferrari, because frankly Ferrari keeps prioritizing Leclerc over Sainz, even if Sainz has a better pace. So to have the the 2025 lineup for Red Bull be Max Verstappen AND Carlos Sainz, while the fucking FERRARI team is Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc would be so insanely awesome.
If you read this far, thank you for coming to my ted talk š

This what I don't like in Tom decisions,he almost all the time picking up roles before scripts is twitter. So he never know what he will get. With TCR he done same thing and he was flexing like it's good thing. Many famous actors doing opposite of this, never take roles if they not like script when script already done, waiting for "their" role, ehh Tom...I have bad feeling for FA. Problems is even with good performance u can't save bad scripts and all blame usually gets lead of film in this case would be Tom.
If it's early stages and small chance he will shoot this in 2024,so uncharted 2 or nothing and FA after spiderman shooting in 2025
Hey Anon, I think some of your msg was a little bit unclear, but I think I understood the general gist of what you were trying to say.
I'll be honest, I've seen several fans of Tom being upset by his manner of picking roles (like yourself), but I always say that at the end of the day, I just want my favorite actors to be HAPPY. š
If Tom were not HAPPY picking the roles that he's choosing, THEN I would probably feel some kind of way about it. But as long as he's happy doing the projects that he's been doing (and, let's face it, he seems pretty happy with most of his projects), then I'm happy for him and I'll always support him in his roles! š
With that said, I am kind of curious about what kind of projects he could possibly find himself getting into if he were to step away from the Russo Brothers, Amy Pascal, Sony, or anything Marvel-related period... š
I'm just curious! š¤
I wouldn't mind seeing him do a role which already had a script finalized before he signed on to it, or even a role that was based on a critically-acclaimed book/novel, so that even if there isn't a script written yet, you kind of know where the story is going ahead of time and how well-written the plot is because of the novel. š¤
But we might have to just be patient. Tom JUST had a much-need year off break from working last year. š We're currently only at January 4th. Fans need to give Tom some time to start getting back into working mode again.
I'm sure 2024 will bring more Tom project announcements our way, and some fans might get their wish.
BTW, I'm not exactly sure why you have such a negative feeling already about the FA biopic? š„“ Despite what haters and Debbie Downers might think or say š, biopics are a GREAT genre to get into! And they usually often do very well with most audiences... especially if the film is done well.
Paul King is a very respected and decent Director, and his films tend to be beloved by moviegoers.
This will also be the FIRST time we FINALLY get to see Tom dancing on the BIG SCREEN!! š If that's not exciting, idk what is lol š
Idk why some fans are automatically throwing crap at this movie when we haven't even gotten any bts filming/set pics yet, let alone a trailer or even a script! šµāš«
I think some fans need to chill on the pessimist-ade they're sipping on this winter, and just let things unfold organically without being so negative about a project every step of the way. š

Halloween 2023 - Day 7 - Halloween Ends (2022)
Does Halloween End with a bang or a whimper?
So, not quite Day 31 but this is indeed Halloween Ends in every sense of the word. Not just the season but the very franchise itselfā¦sort of. But we'll come back to that. This is the last of the David Gordon Green directed trilogy, a man who has taken a sharp turn into horror in the last few years after that little stretch into stoner comedy back in the late 00's, early 10's. After this trilogy, he's moved onto The Exorcist with the newly released Believer, with another sequel Deciever planned in 2025. That seems to have opened to fairly poor reviews so we'll see if they'll make it to that next sequel. I kinda fell off that franchise after the third one but since we've wrapped up Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm St, there might be room for it to slip into the schedule.
Speaking of poor reviews, I remember this time last year when this was getting a lot of negative feedback. I managed to keep myself at a distance in terms of plot, trailers etc and only really had a vague sense of the feedback to go on where the word 'weird' kept coming up, in that it's weird for a Halloween film. That is something I would agree with but, for me, it's a good weird.
Does it reflect badly on me that the opening of this movie elicited a laugh from me? Not like a belly laugh or anything, I do tend to have this almost nervous laugh as an immediate reaction to something that should be considered scary or intense. And there's perhaps little more intense than a guy dropkicking a door open straight into the face of an 8 year old who is sent flying down a multi-storey building to his untimely death. Geez, this movie isn't fucking about, is it? Kids don't die in a Halloween movie, Michael Myers has at least some standards. Maybe that's what people were complaining about?
But the curious case of young Corey Cunningham, a young kid just trying to get through college before this accident sends his life into a tailspin is just the catalyst for the ever spiraling events of the movie but he's also a shining example of the kind of world building that I've come to love about these new movies. There's this idea that's brought up that for a town that has been living in the shadow of Michael Myers and his crimes for the last 40 years, and lest we forget still living in fear that he's still on the loose somewhere, Corey is the monster that the townspeople can see. He's the one that they can point their fingers at and unleash their angry energy towards. Arguably you're never going to have a good time of it if you kill a child, accident or no accident, but I like the idea that it's so much worse for him given that this is Haddonfield and it's residents are at the end of their tether with this whole thing.
Without wanting to delve too much into other people's criticisms at this stage before logging my thoughts, I am curious how much of it is down to the lack of Michael and the emphasis on Strode family drama, which is obviously something I was wanting them to lean into more in the 2018 Halloween so I was on board when it started playing out that way here. 'Where's Michael' is always the initial criticism of something like Halloween 3 and he is very much a peripheral character here. Or maybe it's more that as a movie presumably built up as this grand finale and a final showdown between Michael and Laurie, which we do get, felt like it was tacked on in a 'Okay, you sat through the meat and veg of our spin on Halloween so he's here's your treat.' Without going through the trailers and hype going into the movie I'm unsure if that's how they were building it but that's certainly the impression I got from the end of Halloween Kills.
After a run in with some punk kids, Corey is introduced to Laurie's granddaughter Allyson at the local hospital and the pair hit it off, a duo of nihilists whose trouble backgrounds seem to serve as a bit of a bonding experience. She's the survivor of a homicidal maniac, people think he is a homicidal maniac, they're just a perfect fit as they wallow in their collective misery and intent to watch the world burn.
But after another run in that leaves Corey injured, he's dragged into some sewers by a shadowy figure that we come to learn is Michael who promptly strangles Corey to near death but seemingly lets go. Michael is shown to be frail at times so did he just lose his strength, did Corey break free or did Michael see something in this youngsters eyes that made him set his victim free?
It's something that Laurie sees as well, particularly when Corey starts lurking outside her house like he's The Shape from 40 years ago. But as on the ball as she is, you do sound like the boy who cried wolf when you start protesting that he's 'just like Michael Myers' which is something you've been bleating on about for the past four decades. It's kinda like that meme about Boss Baby, when you spend your life fixated on Michael Myers then you're probably going to get a lot of Michael Myers vibes from thisā¦
The only thing I am iffy on is the relationship between Corey and Michael. Corey is played off as this young apprentice of sorts but it's not as if Michael is readily accepting of help, even Dr. Sartain in 2018 he killed off pretty much the first chance he got even though they were meant to be buddy buddy. There are times when it looks like Corey thinks he's in control of Michael, which is probably just in his head, but there's moments when he's doing weird things with his hands and due to the scar he has, I did wonder briefly if they were going for some weird mark of the Cult of Thorn type thing here. I guess it is just this weird connection between them, like Michael understands this shared anguish they have or maybe a sort of 'passing the torch' thing given Michael's advancing years. Or maybe he just recognizes a greater evil than himself, like I said, even Michael knows when to draw the line when it comes to child murder so he's just paying his respects to Corey.
And I guess the ending in a way I'm a bit iffy on as well, specifically the Laurie/Michael showdown. I get that they felt obligated to include it, you probably would have had people rioting in the streets if you didn't show that after these 3 movies, never mind all the other ones in the franchise and especially given this is likely the last chance saloon for the likes of Jamie Lee Curtis. But the vibe I got from Halloween Kills was that there never was this connection between the two that Laurie seemed to play out in her head, it's all just some cosmic coincidence that she happened to be the one all those years ago so it seemed like plot convenience that Michael just happened to make his way out into the world now to track her down.
But the actual ending itself I really like because, spoiler warning, not only does she incapacitate him and slit pretty much every available appendage, they make sure this fucker is never coming back by taking him to a giant metal grinder that they promptly feed him into. Unless he's planning on reassembling the quivering piles of jelly T-1000 style, this guy is deader than he's ever been. Granted, they stopped short of burying whatever bits are left in a concrete filled coffin 2 miles beneath the Earth's surface like I would but they put a good shift in.
In the build up to that moment though, there's this whole procession where everyone in town shows up to witness this momentous occasion. Even when the cops look on uneasy about what's about to play out, like this isn't in the rule book, the sheriff from Halloween Kills shows up to stress that tonight it is. The whole moment is very cathartic, not only for the viewer in that we've finally seen good triumph over evil, but for the entire town of Haddonfield. Even if his timeline has been retconned six ways from Sunday over the years, it's almost as if every resident from every possible continuity is here to finally witness the moment his corpse is destroyed so they can get some closure on the vast body count he must have built up over these last 40 years.
So, whilst I can appreciate that people going into this movie last year with all that hype behind it might feel like they were on the end of a bait and switch, I really loved this. I've said it til I'm blue in the face over the years that slasher movies can be very hit and miss for me and something like Friday the 13th just bores me to tears. Something like Terrifier that I watched this year, it felt like it was just going for the immediate, visceral reaction but trying to be as gory as possible for cheap pops. But it hadn't earned the real weight behind those deaths because these are just disposable characters. When you have people like Dr. Loomis or Laurie Strode who bring some actual gravitas to proceedings, they can actually make you care, there are actual stakes involved and you're not just cheering for the bad guy and waiting for him to stab Camp Councillor #12.
If you want your bog standard slasher movie, go nuts. I'm sure there's hundreds of them out there. Hell, there's like a dozen other ones in this series alone so I'm all for when one of them wants to try something different. If someone wants to mix their indie, moody, coming of age teen drame in with Halloween then I'm all for it. It certainly has a unique atmosphere to it unlike anything in the series, it put me in mind of something like It Follows in artistic terms, the look and feel to it as well as that general overarching look at these younger characters and their lives being shaped by these traumatic events. Here we have this culmination of movies that has been building up Haddonfield as this deeply toxic place where misery is just a way of like and everyone in it almost seems cursed, with two characters specifically that have every reason in the world to want to get out, with things in their lives ripped away from them in harrowing events but ever after all of that, they feel trapped and bound to this place and unable to break free.
And what does the future hold for Halloween as a franchise when everyone has ridden off into the sunset, quite literally in Laurie's case? Well, everyone seems content for now to let things lay but considering the number of reboot and remakes we've been through, whose to say this will ever truly be over? This is easily one of the biggest franchises in horror, if not the biggest, so it's not going to lay dormant forever. This timeline might be over but I'm sure someone somewhere will start a new one in 5-10 years. Hell, multiverses are all the rage, they'll probably end up drawing in all the different iterations of Michael for some monster mash. And that's just speculation on the future of the silver screen, because we've already had word this month that Miramax has won the TV rights for Halloween so we'll be seeing that before too long.
But, for now, we must retire our Halloween cap as we look forward to the next major event of Christmas and the hopes that I might make the effort to round up the full dozen reviews this year. We live in hopeā¦

Itās funny how you donāt realize just how much you miss something until you have it back, even if for a fleeting moment. Seeing BTS together again on stage was as exciting as it was bittersweet. Putting into words the emotions that filled my heart watching them perform as one for such a monumental event is proving to be quite difficult for me. This wasnāt just any regular concert for the boys, or even ARMY. It was a show for the public, for the world. The admission was free, anyone could watch it online, and it aired on Korean television. Despite the hiccups leading up to the show, the concert was a success, with high ratings and unimaginable numbers of online viewers. There was so much viewer traffic that the major platforms streaming the concert crashed, leaving millions of ARMYs and viewers to search for another source. The public perception has been positive, and the tremendous economic impact is being celebrated by the Busan locals. It truly is hard to describe the significance of this concert for BTS, for Busan, and for Korea. This will be a wondrous moment forever remembered by so many, far beyond the port city where it was held.
Many in Korea who arenāt ARMY were curious about BTS and what makes them so special, and the response has been amazing. Even for my own family who tuned in, their reactions were priceless. Apparently, one of my uncles was enchanted by Jin, and my grandmother said she now understands why I love Jimin so much. My sisterās oppa, who wasnāt a fan, decided to nab a ticket to the show, simply because he wanted to know what the hype was all about. He kept sending my sister videos and pictures, and he was in complete awe of what he was experiencing. By the end of the concert, he asked her, āShould I become ARMY?!ā It was so cute how impressed he was, and how he thanked BTS for putting on such an incredible show. Needless to say, as an ARMY, it made me so happy!!
For BTS and ARMY, this was the show to finally close the first chapter of our story. We got to see the boys perform the songs that we all know and love, possibly for the last time. We were gifted āė¬ė ¤ė¼ ė°©ķ (Run BTS)ā early, much to everyoneās excitement. The boys really gave that performance the proper due diligence that a song like that would require. It was very reminiscent of the classic backbreaking stages that put BTS in a class of their own. Witnessing Jimin and V wholly fall into an embrace at the end of the performance says it all.
It was easy to see that this concert meant a lot to the boys, and they didnāt want it to end. Each minute was cherished and not gone to waste. They went into this concert knowing that it will be the last concert with all of them together for the foreseeable future. Now we know that it wonāt be until 2025 that BTS will finally take the stage again as a group. As much as it breaks my heart to know that it will feel like eternity before we get the boys as OT7, I trust that they will make us proud, and will come back to us stronger than ever!!
Even though we wonāt be getting any new BTS music and performances for what seems like forever and a day, we still have so much to look forward to! Jin is releasing a single, and will no doubt bless us all with his silver voice and stunning WWH visuals. The other remaining members are working hard on their much awaited solos, which we know will be worth waiting for. I for one am absolutely beyond ready for all they have to offer, and I am excited to watch each one of them shine in their own light!!
ė¬ė ¤ė¼ ė°©ķģ“ė¤!! Letās go~!! šš

Department of State - press briefing notes from 7th of March 2019
While browsing twitter stumbled on this press briefing and decided to watch it to get info directly from theĀ āhorseās mouth -Ā https://twitter.com/i/broadcasts/1vAGRywYRLYKl
I recommend people watch it for themselves, if curious, instead ofĀ āreaders digestsā media provides - especially since some believe that media it too biased.
Well, going to the source and forming your opinion on the subject is how you can objectively deal with that.
I will try to keep this as unbiased as possible, but again - check the #briefing out for yourself.
Legend:
From this point on I will be referring to the State Department representative (donāt know what his name is - donāt really care) as The Horse.
Journalists from around the Globe will be refereed to as The Birds (just because, and itās shorter than typing out Journalists).
My opinions will be labeled as such and adding @Mrs00Clean001
Department of State - press briefing notes from 7th of March 2019
Briefing began with The Horse making an announcement on deployment of new US sponsored program to help women entrepreneurs around the world to help communities around the world. Goal to have notable progress by 2025. Targets are 26 countries in Latin America, Caribbean and Africa. Source -Ā https://www.state.gov/r/pa/prs/ps/2019/03/290040.htm
My opinion ( @Mrs00Clean001 ): good, these are some of the countries that could use such a program the most. Enterprises create more jobs and jobs allow people to have means for supporting families without resorting to desperate actions and violence.
Floor was than opened up for questions from the the Birds.
1. Bird asked about revocation of visas and flagging people based on passport information. Why?
Horse responded that this is Homeland Security domain and they should be asked why?
Follow up question from Bird was along the lines of if someone like France began doing the same how would The Horse and the Govāt feel about it?
Horse responded with refusal to engage in speculation and...Ā
@Mrs00Clean001 : my opinion is it is like asking the why did police arrest someone ? Check in with them and get their statement instead and you will know, Mr Bird!
2. Bird asked about North Korea and itās science and development.
Horse responded that there will be another briefing at 1600 (7th of March 2019) dedicated to North Korea and to ask that then.
Follow up question from Bird was about a ~1. earthquake registered in North Korea and if this was due to more missile testing.
Horse responded that he knew of no evidence of that and a reminder about 1600 briefing on North Korea.
Bird then asked about policy on satellite launches by North Korea and policy on that.
Horse answered withĀ ābriefingā, etc...
@Mrs00Clean001 : yeah, curious what went on in that 1600 briefing and what the situation is. Ether way, North Korea situation sucks, because if satellites get launched = better targeting and weapons capability for the evil troll that runs that sad, ravaged, country.Ā
2. Bird said he is bringing this up again, and asked about Israel prisoner women being held in deplorable conditions, some of whom are young and are growing up in prison with no hope of rehabilitation or re-integration into society. He asked if it bothered the Horse that Israel, the ally, is doing this and if he could please bring the question up regarding the cases.
Horse responded that he knew nothing about these cases and that talks with allies are done regularly and he does not know anything on the subject.Ā
@Mrs00Clean001 : this was total new to me, and I am tempted to look into this further, as the Horse did not say he was going to bring it up or check into it as was asked. Not his job, Iām guessing, but still - human rights violations should not be allowed and must be investigated further, especially if it is a developed country where it is *supposedly* a crime.
3. Bird asked about sanctions against Iran as related to Iraq.
Horse responded that US is committed in helping Iraqi GovātĀ keep control of the fighting forces and preventing Iran from attempting to compromise Iraq independence.
@Mrs00Clean001 : I paraphrased it hard, but I think the point was that Iraq people want to stay Iraq people and keep their independence from someone like Iran, hence the sanctions against Iran since they are trying to take over.
4.Bird asked about Hwai (or whatever that huge Chinese hardware/tech company is called)Ā
Horse replied it is involved in a legal battle and he canāt talk about it. He then talked about unauthorized access, malicious activity and other shenanigans some vendors are forced to engage in by the Nation in control and that each vendor must be evaluated for risks.
Follow up question from Bird was about Energy sector and if it will be warned against using chines tech.
Horse responded that in a matter of national security every vendor must be rigorously tested and evaluated for risks.
@Mrs00Clean001 : paraphrased this one - hard. Accents were very thick even if English was phenomena.
5. Bird asked about US/UN/France/Britain adding another name to terrorist list - <not adding the name of a terrorist here - look it up yourself, if you want>.
Horse responded with a name of a terror group, as per UN, that is responsible for terrorist acts and <newly-listed terrorist> was the founder.
@Mrs00Clean001 : yeah, founding a terrorist organisation should absolutely land you on some lists and hopefully eventually caught and tried to the fullest extent of the Law.
6. Bird asked about Pakistan arresting 44 people for terrorism and the feelings on the subject.
Horse responded that US noted this action and urged Pakistan to make this a sustainable thing and not sheltering or supporting terrorists.
@Mrs00Clean001 : more accents and big words were spoken here. Overall, time will tell what happens with Pakistan and their terrorism issues...
7. Bird asked about journalist being deported from Venezuela.
Horse responded that it is good.
@Mrs00Clean001Ā : i think this was something along the lines of itās good the journalist is safe.
8. Bird asked, saying that this question will be coming up again soon, about Kongo and human rights abuses of people getting executed without trials.
Horse responded that more information was needed.
@Mrs00Clean001 : journalist said more people were going to be executed soon as more trials were ongoing. WTF. Might have to look this one up too.
8. Bird asked about Nicaragua and Catholic Church being a witness to peace talks.
Horse responded that peace dialog facilitated by the Catholic Church was good.
@Mrs00Clean001 : trying not to mess up on the word too badly here, I think the response was extremely in support of peace talks.
10. Bird asked about Syria and 1000 ISIS brides and should their children be punished for the crimes of parents.
Horse responded that organisations on the ground in Syria are trying to do their best to keep children safe, etc...
@Mrs00Clean001 : this one broke my heard, especially when the journalist pointed out that children growing up in refugee camps will simply turn into more terrorists. Not sure what the solution is here, well none of the options are very good and ether way - poor children!
11. Bird asked about <something I didnāt catch> and why it took 6 days to release info.
Horse responded that he was just coming back from a business trip and, etc... Ended with saying him and his team will do better in the future.
@Mrs00Clean001 : this one was kind of funny and the journalist ended up sounding like an entitled **** and the State Department Communications team ended up sounding semi-lazy.
12.Bird asked about Russia and itās S500 developments and the US policy on that.
Horse responded that the policy on that did not change.
@Mrs00Clean001 : this one is really sad and scary (S500 are short-range missiles) - the arms-race is back on and hopefully we can avoid world war three, as I doubt humanity will survive it very well (or at all).
13. Bird asked about Zimbabwe and extension of sanctions and impeding countryās progress.
Horse answeredĀ that these are targeted sanctions, that renewed on 4th of March, as sanctions renew yearly. Then he explained the targeted were individuals and organisations with human rights abuses, etc.. and that political and economic overhaul was not done to prevent this, so sanctions were not lifted of those specific people and organisations.
@Mrs00Clean001 : more ugliness with human rights abuses... and a lot of paraphrasing.
14. Bird asked about Afghanistan and talks with Taliban.
Horse said there were no updates from yesterday and the talks were still ongoing. Talked about how US is committed to continuing the talks.
@Mrs00Clean001 : .....Ā
15. Bird asked about some sort of Riyadh report.
Horse responded he did not know what report it was.
Bird asked about Finnish journalist receiving women of bravery award.
Horse responded that it was a mistake and journalist was notified of the award erroneously. Said Embassies submitted names of journalists and they then picked winners in an manner they were not going to disclose.
@Mrs00Clean001 : not sure what this was about, but might look it up. Mistakes *are* sometimes funny :)
The End.

A Kindlebook For People of Various Backgrounds/Walks of LifeI admit that one of the reasons for my interest in this kindlebook that is titled Making The Most of Your Veterans Affairs (VA) Home Loan Benefits ; An Active Duty Service Member and Veterans Guide To Home Ownership by David E Nelson Jr. Ā is because of my intent to do what I legally can to be eligible to purchase a home with my husband by the year 2025 andor sooner that we both can reside in/live in for the rest of our current earth lifetimes. Fortunately both he and I have yet to use our VA loans and this kindlebook helped give some ideas on how the VA loan works in regards to particular home buying plans. This kindlebook is also good for a potential home buyers of various backgrounds, occupations, Ā and ages even if you have yet to be near a military base because various issues on home buying are addressed that could appeal to many people buying homes regardless of their background that include; Ā short sales and info on working with real estate agents/realtors in regards to checking how long they expect to work with you, why you want to doublecheck with ideally the same loan officer on certain matters even when working with multiple real estate agents in the way addressed in the kindlebook, the authorās explanation on why you want to ideally still at least google search for a realtor even when there is temptation to rely on online real estate listings, Veteranās Affairs Home Loan Buyerās checklist and more. Ā This kindlebook was well worth the purchase for me to better inform myself and share some of the details with my husband for both present and future reference.
Heartwarming
This kindlebook that is The Team; A Motherās Wisdom From The Other Side Book 1 by Teddy and Frances Key and Oscar Senn as the illustrator has heartfelt information. Areas that are touched on include forgiveness, a personās spiritual team, eureka moments that appear out of the blue and much more. I also came away with more insight with the way the writings on the power of thought and visualizations are much more powerful in a person than they may realize regardless of who they are, their level of self confidence etc. I feel blessed in both my personal and professional life with a loving and open minded husband who is understanding of my unconventional spiritual beliefs. However, I admit that the deaths of both my adoptive parents even though they occurred 15 years apart has me sometimes unintentionally wondering/thinking about how they are doing even though I have faith that both of them went to a world/worlds of whatever they consider their version of heaven. This kindlebook helps remind me that is more than normal and understandable to wonder about oneās late family members from time to time Ā (regardless of how long ago they passed)with the way the matriarch of the family is discussed in this kindlebook who passed away around the age of 86.
Multiple Chefs/Places ReferencedThis book that is Chefās Night Out; From Four-Star Restaurants To Neighborhood Favorites; 100 Top Chefs Tell You Where (And How) To Enjoy Americaās Best by Andrew Dornenburg and Karen Page has a mix of various types of restaurants that use to be open or are still open this year that include; El Bulli in Spain (mentioned on pages 18 to 19 online Wikipedia listed them open from 1964 to 2017), a chef who was referenced in connection with the Inn At Little Washington in Virginia (on page 41), a section of various restaurants affiliated with Los Angeles California that starts on page 112 that also reference Roscoeās House of Chicken and Waffles across multiple locations on page 113, pages 149 to 208 reference places and chefs pertaining to New York, Ā Washington DC Area restaurants and chefs are referenced from pages 279 to 293, and more.
I confess that I finally had the chance to catch up with watching the remaining episodes of Season 5 Last Ship this week. The finale of the Last Ship Season 5 did wrap up creatively and with much emotion and suspense. The ending especially the remaining 15 to 20 minutes definitely also took me by surprise in a wow way especially because it touches on spiritual/afterlife themes in a creative fiction way (I must leave it at that for those who still have yet to see season 5 of the Last Ship), I still stand by my sentiment that I hope that a movie is eventually released of the Last Ship with as much of the original actors actresses that can feature in the film as possible (I say as possible) only because I understand it would be too much of a stretch to feature all due to what occurred with a multiple number of the characters. Ā I definitely intend to order the complete Last Ship dvd set sometime this year and I am glad to have originally been introduced to the Last Ship tv series from an advertisement that I had seen in an Entertainment Weekly magazine issue sometime around June 2014. The following is my Last Ship Season 5 Review from September 19, 2018 a person could still be a novice to this show and enjoy The Last Ship. However I would still recommend at least watching Season 4 if possible time andor moneywise before viewing Season 5 to further understand the workings behind a multiple number of the actors and actresses who feature in Last Ship Season 5. I have to admit that I found it a very novel idea on how one of the characters on the villain side was written to have had a connection with Disney.
A Phenomenal Season Start
September 19, 2018
Already with the Last Ship Season 5 there are a multiple number of heartstring tugging and keep the viewer in suspenseful type of scenes that definitely have me looking forward to more episodes in this season. I am fortunate to have been introduced to the Last Ship television series back in June 2014 via an advertisement in Entertainment Weekly magazine. While still being considerate to those novices/new to the Last Ship tv series I feel compelled to share that multiple locations of military bases are featured even though the USS Nathan James is based in Norfolk Virginia. These listed locations obviously become essential andor vital in some way to being part of the puzzle piece of the season 5 Last Ship beginning 2 episodes. I do feel that it was definitely worth purchasing the whole season from my pocket yet I do wonder out of curiosity if more details can be featured why this seasonās antagonist feels so strongly about America. As an American born woman who was adopted by 2 of my late adoptive parents who were also American even I understand some of the reasons why a person from other areas outside of the U.S. would be far from patriotic. I prefer to avoid harping further about culture out of respect for many people in my personal andor professional/career/employment life who I have interacted with that are from other countries outside of the U.S. However, I wonder and am curious if by episode 5 more is going to be revealed on why the main antagonist feels the way they do about America. Of course, the addition/feature of other actors/actresses for this season; Eric Dane, Adam Baldwin, Charles Parnell, Kevin Michael Martin, Bridget Regan, Jocko Sims, Bren Foster, Jodie Smith, Christina Elmore, Marissa Neitling, Travis Van Winkle, Ben Cho, Michael Dorsano, Maximiliano Hernandez, Fay Masterson, Adam Irigoyen, and more. Of course, I was a little surprised how the conclusion of each of the two episodes unfolded and I am eager to see the rest of the Last Ship season 5.
Abundance Profiles
Iām intuitively and logically aware how blessed I am in both my personal and working life and what also helps is that my husband is ultra supportive of my career, spiritual and money goals. I admit from a place of curiosity of striving to understand what creates an abundance mindset influenced my purchase of this kindlebook that is titled Instant Millionaires The Secret of Overnight Success by Max Gunther. The real life accounts in this kindlebook include; an advertising employee who hit a goldmine through candy, a family man who became rich through a boardgame, a Ā woman who unexpectedly came into great prosperity from using the outlet of her fiction writing as a hobby/something to do, a stock market millionaire, a cereal millionaire, a woman who became a millionaire through her dressmaking, and more. I am fortunate to have purchased this Akashic Whoās Who of Psychic Mediums Healers and More by Victoria Lynn Weston via Amazon on December 14 2014 and to have reviewed it on January 9 2015. Iām intuitively and logically aware that it is important to learn to use and consistently strengthen my own logical, intuitive and imaginative/creative faculties/talents and to be wise and reasonable on how often I consult in a psychic. I admit that the last time I got a psychic reading was in 2017 though I do intend to eventually have another reading again by the end of this year andor sooner. I feel fortunate to know about the existence of certain books to help me understand andor get an idea on how various psychics live and believe. I now realize that I am responsible for creating my reality both the challenging and pleasant parts of my life. However, even with me being logically and intuitively aware of how I may be perceived, the researcher and investigator in me wants to keep track of how I have wrote and thought from both the past and present in order for me to better understand my true and braver self for both present and future reference. Detailed Glossary of Multiple Psychics/Spiritual LightworkersJanuary 9, 2015I have to properly credit psychic elizabeth joyce for finding out about this book that is titled akashic whoās who of psychics, mediums, and healers by Victoria lynn Weston. This is because I was researching if the book psychic attack are you a victim by Elizabeth joyce was right for me. I felt a strong psychic impression when she referenced this book and now I understand why I felt intuitively guided to get Akashic whoās who of psychics, mediums, healers, and more by Victoria lynn Weston. The difference between a psychic and a medium (starts on page 113), each person is asked their take on what they see may happen in the year 2020 and any books that they recommend such as on pages 34-35 and 196-197. There are also some resources listed in the back of the book and information on the author (pages 331-337). The positive takeaway that I got from akashic whos who of psychics, mediums, and healers by Victoria lynn Weston is how it is important to consistently have faith and ask for heavenās help in a more skilled way in channeling inner power that will grow and reinforce that belief that life is going to turn out for the brighter and more charmed (filled with the fruits of good luck/good fortune/good karma) regardless of what others may say and/or current external circumstances. Descendants movie review-fortunately I originally got the chance to review the first Descendants film on January 10 2016 sometime after watching the film and I noticed that I obviously reviewed over the first review sometime in 2017 or 2018
Perfect Film To Watch If You Enjoy the Ever After High or Cartoon Book Series
Original amazon review written on January 10 2016-archived from my stellacarrier googleplus blog via the stellacarrier googleplus online blog section of Stella Carrier online reviews and purchases for creative analysis Fantasy Movie Good For Either Those Who Simply Want to Just Watch the Film and/or Aspiring WritersJanuary 10 2016The Disney Descendants Movie centers around the characters who are torn between following what they want or following the legacy of their parents. I immediately recognized Kristin Chenoweth in the Descendants movie (due to being previously familiar with her work portraying a public relations specialist in 12 Men of Christmas). There are also other actresses and actors in this film that also contribute heavily to the film and the viewer gets introduced to both the parents as well as the kids that are grappling with whether to follow their parents. The kids also deal with themes of fitting in. Due to the fantasy genre slant, this Descendants film is also good for those who like the Ever After High cartoon series. Revised and edited review in either 2017 or 2018January 10 2016I admit that I got the idea to watch the first Disney Descendants film after unexpectedly catching the tail end of the Descendants 2 film less than 4 hours ago and deciding by one of the dragon scenes of this film to check out the first Descendants.Additionally, curiosity influenced me enough to watch it as both an aspiring writer for plot ideas on connecting this series to Ever After High and simply just to watch it as a fantasy type film with a happy ending. The Descendants film involves a plot where Ben (Mitchell Hope) successfully convinces his parents who are now queen and king of the land of Auradon Belle (Keegan Connor Tracy) and Beast (Dan Payne) to allow the following children into Auradon Prep School;Mal (Dove Cameron) daughter of Malificent (Kristin Chenoweth has featured in such films as 12 Men of Christmas, Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure), Evie (Sofia Carson) daughter of the Evil Queen (Kathy Najimy),Carlos (Cameron Boyce) son of Cruella de Vil (Wendy Raquel Robinson), and Jay (Booboo Stewart) son of Jaffar (Maz Jobrani). Of course, there are multiple actors and actresses who also play crucial roles into the plot. From what I see, the Descendants film sends a healthy and positive (maybe even spiritual message) that it is possible for a person to create their own happy reality that is different from what may be expected of them depending on their parental andor family background. Obviously, this lesson could still be inclusive depending on whether what type of background a person came from. The children of the villains do adjust to life really well at Auradon Prep school and even enjoy themselves. This Descendants film is also good if you enjoy musical movies as there are song performances in the film. I may be in the minority saying this, yet I do feel that the writers of the Ever After High Series and the Descendants films could maybe get together and collaborate (as there are creative parallels in a beneficial way with some of the plot points while each of the series maintains its own originality). I also know for sure that I intend to eventually purchase both Disney Descendants films. Might Appeal To Some Ever After High Fans andor Animated TV Show FansThe animated cartoon tv series that is Descendants Wicked World has plot and cartoon elements that touch upon friendship, magic, and enjoying life. The messages and the unique plot elements and colorful sequences might interest some viewers of the Ever After High Series because that series also touches on themes of friendship and adventures in storybook type of worlds.
A Good Continuation From the First Descendants FilmThis film that is Descendants 2 definitely has a strong flow of continuation of events from the first Disney Descendants film. There is great contrast shown with the first Descendants film Ā where some of the characters that came from another place were treated better and shown a warmer welcome a sense of belonging compared to the first film. I would prefer to say to pay attention to the theme of a certain kind of book referenced in the second film as this is important to a significant part of the plot development. I admit that I had seen the first Descendants film in early 2016 by January 2016 and I am glad to have finally seen the second Descendants film because a multiple number of the actors and actresses gave much energy and animated emotion to their parts (on both the good guy and villain sides). This film is definitely worth a try to watch if you enjoyed the first film and you might like this film as a novice if you are an eclectic Disney movie viewer.
Prolific Restaurant Features
I admit that I unexpected spotted this magazine that is From The Food Critics of US Weekly; 100 Best Restaurants in America (listed for a recommendation to display until 3/1/19) from a CVS store less than 3 miles from where my husband and I currently live. Some of the following places/names referenced in this magazine; Restaurant Guy Savoy in Las Vegas Nevada (page 16), La Super Rica Taqueria in Santa Barbara California on page 17, Uchi in Austin Texas on page 27, The Inn at Little Washington and Maydan referenced on pages 45 to 46 for Washington DC,ABC Cocina in New York New York on page 52, Arethusa al Tavolo in Bantam Connecticut on page 53, Anthony Bourdainās Top 20 starts on pages 68 to 69, a listing of the 150 under $25 The Best Cheap Eats in Your State on page 69, a section on 25 Recipes from Top Chefs pages 70 to 95, and more.

Right Blend of Apple and Honey ScentsThis Bath & Body Works brand of 8 ounces Champagne Apple & Honey Lotion (24 hour Ultra Shea Body Cream) has a terrific blend of the fruity scent of the apple balancing the honey fragrance in a lotion that is soothing to my skin. I got this lotion from a Bath and Body Works location in Virginia that was having an annual sale on a number of their products.
Classic
This Bath & Body Works brand of Ā 8 ounces lotion that is Japanese Cherry Blossom (24 hour Ultra Shea Body Cream) has a pleasant flowery scent. I am fortunate to have known about this fragrance since around 2006/2007 when my husband and I noticed the Bath & Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom lotion and body sprays being sold at a Bath & Body Works location in Florida where my husband and I lived at the time. Bought For
This one pound 4 ounce (20 ounces)bag of Ā double stuff oreos definitely has a fair mix of the classic chocolate cookie flavor paired with the smooth filling. The Nabisco Oreo brand has been one of my husbandās favorite cookies for a while, and I admit to my husband being a significant influence on why I purchased these cookies. Ā

2021 NBA player rankings, Nos. 10-1: Why Anthony Davis will be the best player in 4 years
It was a difficult choice and not a unanimous one, but Anthony Davis edged out several others to top our list.
Weāve finally reached the end of our countdown of the 101 best NBA players in 2021. Unlike the last time we did this exercise, the choice for No. 1 was not a simple one. If you asked each of us individually, weād have 10 different top fives. But because this was a draft and not a consensus list, we ended up with 28-year-old Anthony Davis and a ton of internal arguments along the way.
Also in this final segment of the list: an unexpected selection at No. 4 that threw the entire draft out of whack. Plus, youāll be curious to know where the current King of the league went.
10. Russell Westbrook
Age in 2021: 32 (13 seasons)
CHRIS GREENBERG: By 2021, Russ will have accrued four more yearsā worth of motivating slights involving everyone anywhere close to him on this list. Given the likeliest relative states of the Thunder, Warriors, Lakers, Spurs, and LeBron over that span, heāll probably still be chasing that ring wherever he is calling home.
This guy is going to be mad. Going hard. At everyone. Every night. Box scores, stacked. Opponents, racked. Even worse for everyone else, he might still be the most sweltering, stubborn force on the court.
Everyone elseās reactions
TOM ZILLER: Heāll be 32, and athletic guards usually age poorly. But Dwyane Wade held it together for a couple more years, and you can certainly see Westbrookās indestructible body surviving four more seasons.
KRISTIAN WINFIELD: Unless Westbrook becomes an incredible three-point shooter, I canāt see a 32-year-old guard who relied mostly on athleticism still being an MVP-caliber player.
JOSHUA BROOM, WELCOME TO LOUD CITY: Given the reigning MVP's sheer reliance on athleticism, his still ranking in the top ten while almost 33 years old is quite the compliment. I'd place Russ between No. 17-25, personally.
It will be interesting to see how 6'3 Westbrook's floor game adjusts when his spring is past its prime.
KOFIE YEBOAH: Iād be fine with this pick up to the year 2019. Any time frame longer than that, I have trouble believing.
RICKY OāDONNELL: I truly do not want to imagine a world with old Westbrook.
ZITO MADU: [Westbrook voice] Why not?

9. Joel Embiid
Age in 2021: 27 (7 seasons, technically)
KRISTIAN WINFIELD: I gave myself a rule: I wasnāt going to pick anyone over age 30 in this draft. Joel Embiid is a franchise-altering talent who hasnāt stayed healthy. I made this pick under the assumption heās on the court more often than not in 2021.
Embiid checks all the boxes a team could want in a big man. He blocks shots, shoots threes, is a terror on the low and high blocks, dances shirtless at a Meek Mill concert, cursed out LaVar Ball, and wants to date Rihanna. If he gets over the injury bug, thereās no doubt heās one of the leagueās top talents in four years.
Everyone elseās reactions
TIM CATO: This is the Andrew Bynum predicament that we had in 2013, although weāre much more hopeful about Embiid, of course. Either heās a top-10 player because he stays relatively healthy, or heās out of the top 100 altogether if he cant. (Bynum ended up getting picked No. 82 four years ago.)
TOM ZILLER: Glad someone else took the plunge so it didnāt have to be me.
RICKY OāDONNELL: I almost took Embiid at No. 3. I would have considered him at No. 1, too. His impact defensively was incredible as a rookie. And heās only been playing the game for, like, five years! Please keep this man healthy.
KYLE NEUBECK, LIBERTY BALLERS: If we're going to assume his body doesn't fall apartāand you need to if you're placing him this high at allāI would lean toward him being a top-five player. He was one of the best players in the league when he played last year, and that's with no previous NBA experience and debilitating injuries keeping him off the court for the prior two seasons.
Ranking him is super tough. I just believe you either have to go all-in or just sort of write him off.
WHITNEY MEDWORTH: I donāt trust his knees :(
KRISTIAN WINFIELD: But do you trust the process?
KOFIE YEBOAH: I am Kofie Yeboah and I do trust the process.
MATT ELLENTUCK: Joel Embiid can have my legs if he ever needs them. Good pick.
ZITO MADU: Sports has taught me that in the face of all evidence and sad reality, people will always have hope. I applaud this pick as a sign of human optimism.

8. Kyrie Irving
Age in 2021: 29 (10 seasons)
WHITNEY MEDWORTH: Kyrie Irving wanted to leave LeBron James, his championship ring, and three straight Finals appearances to go be āthe manā elsewhere. That elsewhere is now in Boston with Brad Stevens working his magic.
Assuming that Kyrie buys into what Stevens is selling, he better be in the top 10 of NBA players. This will be the peak Kyrie Irving at age 29, and he should be the best point guard in the league. Right, Kyrie?
Everyone elseās reactions
JEFF CLARK, CELTICS BLOG: Kyrie has always had top 10 talent, but this ranking foretells a perfect blend of dedication (by Kyrie), coaching (by Brad Stevens), and environment (roster built by Danny Ainge) to maximize his skills.
MIKE PRADA: Fascinating to see how this develops.
I was of the opinion that No. 8 in four years ā and the best point guard in the NBA to boot ā would be an absolute best-case scenario for Irving. I figured heād get sent to a team that wouldnāt be ready to compete around him, dooming him to NBA irrelevancy.
But now heās in Boston, with a good team that has terrific complementary pieces, youngāins to extend the window (or cash in for another star), and a coach that runs a fun system that gets the most out of stars.
The question is whether Irving willing to fully buy in to Brad Stevensā style of play. Iām a little skeptical, but if he can, this might not be too nuts a ranking after all.
RICKY OāDONNELL: I just donāt see how Kyrie becomes a better player than Steph over the next four seasons.
CHRIS GREENBERG: Kyrie doesnāt necessarily have to be better than Steph ā although the age difference could take care of that over four years. He just has to beat him. Curry was switched onto Irving in the waning seconds of Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals. Irving drained the three-point shot. The Land got a title.
Look out for Boston.
TOM ZILLER: Iām only concerned about whether Kyrie will still be a Flat Earther in four years.

7. LeBron James
Age in 2021: 36 (18 seasons)
TIM CATO: Yāall really let LeBron James slip this far. Yāall really let perhaps the most aberrational deviation from normal human athleticism weāve possibly ever seen, at least in this sport, slip to No. 7.
LeBron will be turning 36 in 2021, not rolling over onto his deathbed. Yāall know that last season, Bron had the most dunks of his entire career. For normal humans like you and me, we start declining athletically in the 30s, but LeBronās getting better. Jokes on any of us who thought a supernatural athleteās body would behave in normal, typical ways. Weāre also coming off Jamesā best three-point shooting season of his career.
Yes, heās going to start falling off in a few areas, but Iād be surprised if heās not still a top-five player by the time 2021 rolls around. It just doesnāt seem feasible for James to be anything but great. Not until heās 40 at least, damnit.
Everyone elseās reactions
TOM ZILLER: Karl Malone won a (fraudulent) MVP at age 36, and Michael Jordan won one at 35. So itās certainly plausible that LeBron ā who is way better than the former and on par with the latter as a talent ā could perform at a top-five level at age 36.
The difference is that Jordan had 43,361 NBA minutes (regular season and playoff) when he won that final NBA MVP in 1998. LeBron already has 50,399 career minutes ... with four years to go until 2021.
LeBron is the only fighter youād want in this battle, but Father Time is undefeated.
CHRIS MANNING, FEAR THE SWORD: As long as he gets some rest between now and then, age 37-38 season LeBron should still be very, very good.
WHITNEY MEDWORTH: The NBA is changing the schedule already in LeBronās favor. Fewer back-to-backs, no more four-game-in-five-night stretches. Players are taking care of their bodies better now than ever. Plus, he can easily adapt his game to whatever it needs to be.
Never doubt, Bron. Not even 36-year-old Bron.
KOFIE YEBOAH: LeBron is a terminator, but itās hard to imagine him still being this dominant going into his 18th season of pro basketball.
MIKE PRADA: Old Bron will be fascinating. Kobe didnāt exactly exit the NBA gracefully and Bron has more miles on him than Kobe did. Could it all fall apart at once for Bron like it did one day for Kobe? Itās hard to doubt him, but it was hard to doubt Kobe at the time, too.
Either way, I donāt think heāll be No. 7. Either Bron will still be the undisputed king of the league, or heāll be a sad, broken-down version of his former self. Hoping for the former.
KRISTIAN WINFIELD: In four years, LeBron will not be a top-five player. Iām sorry, I donāt believe it. He might not be in the NBA at all. He may end up retiring before 2021 to pursue that good olā acting career.
TIM CATO: What, is acting the new minor league baseball?
But I am still deadly serious about this pick. Give me Bron and his all-time historic greatness and Iāll fight any battle you send my way.
MATT ELLENTUCK: Wait, are we talking about the DJ or the player?
Doesnāt matter, LeBron is indestructible and I laugh at anyone who questions how good he will be in four years.
RICKY OāDONNELL: I look forward to taking Bronny James when we do this exercise again in 2021 for the 2025 season.
6. Kawhi Leonard
Age in 2021: 29 (10 seasons)
KOFIE YEBOAH: Kawhi is great defensively, and his offensive production has improved every year heās been in the league. I canāt wait to see how dominant he becomes in a league where the seemingly immortal LeBron James gets older and older. Pretty soon, heāll ... Kawhiet every doubter out there. *runs*
Everyone elseās reactions
MIKE PRADA: Hey, terrible puns are my jig.
We all missed the boat on this one. Kawhi will only be 29 in four years, smack in the middle of his prime. He gets better every year, to the point that Iāve stopped pretending I know how good he can be. I ultimately chose the dude next on this list ahead of him, but it was a tough decision. You could honestly make an argument for Kawhi being the No. 1 player in the league in four years and I wouldnāt blink.
We always overlook the Spurs, donāt we?
TIM CATO: You could honestly make an argument for Kawhi being the No. 1 player in the league right now and I wouldnāt blink. Heās gotten demonstratively better every season heās been in the league. Howād he fall this far!?
TOM ZILLER: āWe all missed the boat on this one.ā
The fact that we saw āyou could make an argument for him at No. 1ā tells me I didnāt miss the boat on this one, being the guy with the No. 1 pick.
But this is a good selection. He should be a spot higher, at least.
TIM CATO: Hey, it was your own argument, Ziller!
BRUNO PASSOS, POUNDING THE ROCK: This is a tad low for Leonard, who's just entering his prime and has finished in the top 3 in MVP voting the last two years.
KRISTIAN WINFIELD: If Giannis Antetokounmpo was off the board and I was picking, Iād have picked Kawhi second. Damn you all for forcing me to the bottom.
WHITNEY MEDWORTH: Coach Pop can make 40-year-old players look good. Can you imagine an extremely prime Kawhi Leonard? Wooooweeeee. He should be higher.
ZITO MADU: The Spurs will still be surrounding him with 40-year-olds and undrafted European players in the future.
CHRIS GREENBERG: Kawhi probably wonāt get the respect he deserves in 2021 either.

5. Kevin Durant
Age in 2021: 32 (14 seasons)
MIKE PRADA: KD will be 33 in four years, the same age LeBron James will be this December. Thatās working out just fine for Bron, isnāt it? Why wasnāt KD more in contention for the top spot on this list? (Especially ahead of the dude coming up next ... ).
Thereās a slight worry that KDās history of foot trouble will doom him, but heās coming off one of the most dominant NBA Finals ever and can afford to rest during the regular season to stay fresh. He just finished the most efficient and least turnover-prone season of his career, and he was already damn efficient and careful with the ball. As long as heās seven feet, heāll get whatever shot he wants off. That wonāt change in four years, not when the Warriorsā offense serves up easy looks on a silver platter.
Heād be No. 1 on my list, with Kawhi No. 2. Iām stunned both were there when it was my turn.
Everyone elseās reactions
JUSTIN MAK, GOLDEN STATE OF MIND: After 5-peating as champions, KD and Stephen Curry (13th) go down as a GOAT-tandem. Anywhere below 1 and 2 is ludicrous.
TIM CATO: Itās still unfair that Durant suddenly turned into one of the leagueās best defenders in the past few years. He always had these moments, but suddenly becoming a legitimate, 82-games-a-year rim protector and versatile switcher in addition to his offense? Damn.
Durantās going to finish as a top ... 10 player of all time? Dare I say top five? He needs to stay healthy, but I believe thatās an extremely reasonable prediction.
RICKY OāDONNELL: We are all idiots for letting KD slip this far.
TOM ZILLER: I considered Durant for No. 1 but the foot trouble and his still-slight frame made me go another direction. Part of the comparison to current LeBron that strikes me as off is that Peak LeBron was much better than Peak Durant to date. Heās also more muscular and well-rounded. The thin die first in a famine!
KRISTIAN WINFIELD: I stayed away from players who will be over 30 in 2021, and Durant falls in this category. But heāll certainly be the best player in his age bracket in four years.

4. Kristaps Porzingis
Age in 2021: 25 (6 seasons)
MATT ELLENTUCK: Iāve receved a lot of heat for this pick, but I never even came close to hesitating. If you donāt see how unicornly unicorny Kristaps Porzingis is by now, I give up. If you donāt understand how that talent is going to translate when heās 26 years old, bulkier, and maybe not a Knick anymore, Iām not sure how to explain it.
Heās a 7ā3 shooter who can stretch out to anywhere. Heās been forced to play power forward in a system neither he nor his teammates liked. Just wait until heās in the right situation that lets him play center.
Heās also 22 years old right now, so in four years, he will just start to reach his prime.
(Go away, inevitable criticism.)
Everyone elseās reactions
JOE FLYNN, POSTING AND TOASTING: The greatest Knicks draft pick since Ewing officially takes his place as the greatest Knick since Ewing.
MIKE PRADA: Are you serious, Matt?
WHITNEY MEDWORTH: The Knicks wonāt allow Kristaps to be this good.
MIKE PRADA: Thereās that, which is a huge part of why this pick makes no sense. Even if you assume that Kristaps really is the fourth-most-talented player in the NBA in four years, what are the chances the Knicks actually nurture it correctly?
Thereās also the fact that as fun as Kristaps is, his game does not measure up to several of his peers just yet. His PER was so-so last year, his true shooting percentage was around the league average, and heās not a great playmaker or defender against smaller players yet. He will obviously improve because the Knicks put him in the absolute worst situation possible last year, but he has a bigger mountain to climb than I think a lot of folks realize. (And remember: That assumes the Knicks actually put him in a position to climb it going forward, which is a huge assumption.)
The guy Matt picked last round (Nikola Jokic, No. 14) is younger, more productive, and plays for a better team than KP. Nobody considered Jokic in the top five in this exercise, so why would Porzingis be included? I want him to be this good, but realistically he belongs in the late teens or early 20s.
MATT ELLENTUCK: Iām extremely hesitant to use advanced numbers against any player inside his first four years in the league. For a Knick, I might even extend that time frame. For someone who was a Knick in year two, and more specifically a Knick in 2017, I am going to extend that time frame some more.
This is about where Porzingis can be in 2021, and I think his ceiling is this high.
TOM ZILLER: I donāt think itās ridiculous to think Porzingis will be really good in four years ā heās really good now! But to be better than Durant, LeBron, Kawhi, Westbrook and James Harden? Thatās a big ask.
KRISTIAN WINFIELD: I think Kristaps will eventually be a player the likes of which the NBA has never seen. I donāt think he gets to that point by 2021.
ZITO MADU: By 2021, Kristaps will be playing for the Lakers, so Iām fine with this.
CHRIS GREENBERG: On the bright side, Matt, I have many Knicks fans in my family who will love seeing this. Uncle Elliot, this is for you.

3. Karl-Anthony Towns
Age in 2021: 25 (6 seasons)
RICKY OāDONNELL: Karl-Anthony Towns should have been a junior in college last season. He still averaged 25 points and 12 rebounds per game while finishing top-15 in the league in true shooting percentage, PER, and win shares. Heāll be 25 years old in 2021 and should be reaching the height of his powers.
I see Towns as a player with very few holes in his game. He can score with his back to the basket, stroke three-pointers, and clean the glass. He also has the frame to handle center responsibilities long-term if the Wolves ever let him do it. Look for him to grow as a passer as the Wolves continue to build around him.
I might have gone with Joel Embiid ā who has a clear edge defensively ā if you could have promised me his health. Instead, hereās hoping Tom Thibodeau doesnāt run Towns into the ground before heās legally old enough to rent a car.
Everyone elseās reactions
ERIC GOLDMAN, CANIS HOOPUS: Third? Are Michael Jordan from Space Jam and Superman going to be in the league in 2021?
TOM ZILLER: I almost took Towns No. 1 overall. The numbers at his age and development arc are ridiculous. The Wolves should certainly be a winning team this season, too, so he can add that to his rƩsumƩ. What a player.
KRISTIAN WINFIELD: This is the same as saying Karl-Anthony Towns is an MVP candidate in 2021. Not so sure Iām on that bus.
MIKE PRADA: Not entirely sure what happened to his defense last year, because we were praising him on that end every year prior. Assuming that turns around, Towns absolutely can be an MVP candidate. Solid selection.
TIM CATO: You can actually rent a car before you turn 25. They just charge you more. (Trust me, I would know!) Do we think KAT can afford it?

2. Giannis Antetokounmpo
Age in 2021: 26 (8 seasons)
ZITO MADU: I knew I made the right choice when I logged into Twitter, saw Giannis asking Kobe Bryant what challenge the Lakers legend had for him, and Kobe replied with āMVP.ā
MVP https://t.co/cjmWH5Mqyz
ā Kobe Bryant (@kobebryant) August 27, 2017
Not that Giannis will get it this year, but it seems inevitable at some point in his career. He improves in leaps and bounds every year, so by 2021, the NBA might have to count him as two players to make the game fair for others.
Everyone elseās reactions
KOFIE YEBOAH: It was very stupid of me to think that Giannis would fall to me at No. 6. I canāt wait until heās the King of the League.
KRISTIAN WINFIELD: I had every intention of picking Giannis until I realized I was picking No. 9. Must be nice.
TIM CATO: I wouldāve taken him first ā after a whole lot of hand wringing.
KYLE CARR, BREW HOOP: āThe rise of Giannis has been amazing, to say the least. Be has gone from man of mystery to the heir to best player of the Eastern Conference, and he still can get better. By 2021, it will require only one hand to name players better than him.
RICKY OāDONNELL: Can someone who canāt shoot really be the best player in the league in this era? Iām not doubting Giannis at all, but it will be fascinating to see how he adapts his game as he reaches his prime.
TIM CATO: Can someone address Rickyās (totally valid) argument, please? Iām too busy watching Antetokounmpo go from the opposite three-point line to dunking in two dribbles to be bothered with him right now.
TOM ZILLER: Giannis is already almost an A+ at all important basketball skills except shooting. If heās a C shooter, he can be right there at the top.
MIKE PRADA: Thereās some logic to Rickyās point, but Giannis is also the kind of player that can completely warp what skills actually matter in the NBA. In other words: Shooting matters for like 99 percent of NBA players, and Giannis is the 1 percent. I would have put him in contention for No. 3 with Towns and the guy who went No. 1, behind KD and Kawhi.
Iām also a little concerned that the Bucks wonāt fully maximize his potential, but that might be an irrational fear.

1. Anthony Davis
Age in 2021: 28 (9 seasons)
TOM ZILLER: This was a tough pick, truly. I considered Giannis, Towns, and Durant in addition to The Brow.
It ended up being a series of comparisons that led me here. Giannis is wonderful and a smart pick at No. 2, but Davis has done the unicorn things more consistently for longer. The same applies to Towns ā heās incredible, but has only been able to show that for two season. Davis has been unreal for four.
As for Durant, heāll be 33 entering the 2021-22 season, whereas Davis will be just 28. Itās similar to where LeBron and Durant were entering this season in terms of age. We donāt yet know if KD will age like LeBron ā in other words, we donāt have evidence that Durant will continue to add and refine skills and make his body a masterpiece. Durant has also had injury issues LeBron did not.
Of course, Davis is a walking bag of maladies. But I have faith that his body will get right and so will his team, whether thatās in New Orleans or elsewhere. The Brow is still the future of the league until someone forcibly takes that title from him.
Everyone elseās reactions
OLEH KOSEL, THE BIRD WRITES: At 28 years of age, there's a good chance this high-flying 7-footer will have mastered every facet in his prime: long range shooting, playmaking, and winning tons of games. But I admit I'd feel better about the top overall pick if someone were to finally rid the Voodoo curse ravaging New Orleans locker rooms sooner rather than later!
CHRIS GREENBERG: This is a good and true pick.
KRISTIAN WINFIELD: You smart. You loyal.
TIM CATO: āI considered Giannis, Towns, Durant, and Dion Waiters,ā is the sentence Ziller wanted to write.
TOM ZILLER: You know the true me.
ZITO MADU: This all depends on him being able to balance basketball and his role as a Kaiju in the new Pacific Rim, but good choice.
TIM CATO: Jokes aside, this is really just about whether the injuries catch up to Davis before his overwhelming talent fully develops, right?
Heās already this good at age 24, with an increasingly unstoppable mid-range game thatās coupled with incredible finishing around the rim. He can be better on defense, but heās already good. He can start hitting threes consistently, but heās slowly shooting more of those anyway.
He can stay healthy? I wish I could put that question mark in 72-point font, because itās the only one that matters for Davis. Well, that, and getting him some decent teammates, damnit.
MIKE PRADA: Iād have placed Davis No. 4 or No. 5, which is probably a little lower than most. To me, KD and Kawhi were clear Nos. 1 and 2, with Giannis, AD, and Towns in some order thereafter.
Health is a big reason, but not the only reason.
The other reason is that Davis is much more of a play finisher than a play starter. Last year, only 34 percent of his buckets were unassisted ā and that was a career high. It was also only the second season in which that mark cracked 30 percent.
Towns, by comparison, was already at 36 percent last year despite being three years younger. Kawhi and Giannis were both well over 50 percent, and KD was over 48 percent every year since 2010-11 before dropping to 38 percent on the loaded Warriors.
This is splitting hairs, of course. AD is arguably the best play finisher in the league already, which counts for something. But relative to the other real candidates for the top spot, Davis needs more help to put him in positions to succeed.
Barring improvement, thatās enough for me to drop him down ever so slightly.
