pregnancy is crazy because people will keep telling you “enjoy your sleep while you can” and I’m like susan I wake up at 2am every night for some reason. I keep going to the bathroom or needing to turn in bed which by the way has become a ginormous challenge as my body has seemingly turned into a sack of concrete. I understand newborns can be difficult but I’d rather have a baby plus my normal body than the third trimester woes

For the last 3 days or so, my face has been having a horrible eczema flare up, just the top 5 layers on my skin nothing but flakes. Itchy, uncomfortable, painful and I could Not figure out why until my mom commented thinking it was stress and I was like no that’s not it but idk what it is. And she was like “oh, I changed the washing liquid from the non-allergenic non-bio to bio, maybe that’s it?” And I had to try not to scream and sob while going “Aha maybe, could you perhaps not use that please?”

i really dont like periods because purely ignoring the physical and mental pain i go thru with them there’s still: feeling the blood leak out, feeling my uterus trying to roll itself like a demented toothpaste tube, i can always smell it and it is off-putting, i can feel the pad because it’s less uncomfy than tampons, dysphoria, stains, hormonally-driven mood swings, changes in my body that i am not in control of, reminder of pregnancy and childbirth, adamant refusal of ever wanting to expel a fetus from my vaginal canal, shame for maternal instincts because i know in me they’re more paternal but i know it would only be viewed as maternal in most of my irl circles, period shits, the gloopy uterine lining blood globs that i can feel, the teacher that ignored my completely valid question about hysterectomies and didn’t even try to say “let’s look it up” or acknowledge it, fear-of-needles-related hesitancy for a less hands-on birth control, i don’t like when i can feel my organs inside of me and moving without my control
