Coming out of my homeless and miserable hole briefly just to say that if you think audiobooks and podcasts are ‘lesser’ forms of literature, you’re ableist, thanks. You can dislike the format/medium and you’re fine, but calling one of the main methods us blind folk use to interact with literature ‘lesser’ , it puts a bad taste in my mouth.

Same goes for saying subtitles ruin movies and videos. Stop that shit. Accessible media is not lesser just because it doesn’t suit your arbitrary tastes.
