FOR UR FELLOWSHIP REQUEST THING maybe the fellowship with an depressed reader? like how each of them would treat the reader (i wanted to go for su1c1d@l but idk if ur chill with it(ONLY IF U WANNA))
Remember that you are not alone so please reach out for help. There are hotlines to call/text if you are struggling, suicidal, or in a crisis
My messages are always open if you want to talk but I am no replacement for professional help and support of your loved ones
The fellowship x depressed!reader
Aragorn:
-He recognizes the signs quickly
-I imagine he’s had his bouts of depression
-He definitely takes a very gentle approach
-Offering a shoulder and an ear
-He’s kinda an unpaid and unlicensed therapist
-He gives lots of tips on how to keep going in your daily life
-For some people depression is kind of a way of life; you have to learn to live with it
Legolas:
-He doesn’t fully understand at first
-To elves, depression is really only experienced after loss
-So to have it chronically is a new concept to him
-He’s remorseful that you feel so low and he knows there isn’t much he can do
-But he will try
-He will force you to get up and out of bed, even if he has to throw you over his shoulder to get you some fresh air
-He will constantly point out little beautiful things to be grateful for; little joys
-Maybe it’s the smell of dawn or crunchy fall leaves
-Or maybe it’s him; he is very insistent that you would miss him most
Gimli:
-I literally love this dwarf so much; he would be such a cutie that you can’t help but smile at him
-Like he is so gentle and patient with you; which is saying something because dwarves are not patient beings
-He isn’t someone who will beat around the bush though; he will very bluntly tell you your worth and why he and everyone else needs and wants you around
-He gets you involved in anything he can
-Is it against your will? Maybe
-But I’ve found I sometimes end up feeling a little better and enjoy the time out even after I’ve bitched about it and my friend had to drag me out of the house by my hair
Boromir:
-Big brother mode is always active so he picks up on your subtle changes very fast
-Maybe even before you do
-He will tell you stuff like “even if you can’t, you must”
-Wether or not you find that helpful or not; just know he’s trying
-His experience with depression is seeing it with his soldiers
-And that’s the sort of thing he tells them so he just kinda hopes can be applied to you
-He is very action oriented; I think he may have a difficult time sympathizing with not feeling able to get up and do anything
-But damnit if he doesn’t try; he wants you to tell him everything so he can learn and be of better support
-He also gives the best hugs
Frodo:
-He is a very steady friend
-Like he’s not going anywhere; no matter how dark things look he’s still there with a torch
-He makes you go on walks like clockwork to give you some feeling of routine
-He always invites you over because if he can’t help he’s sure Bilbo can
-How can you be sad when talking to Bilbo?
-Well actually he talks a lot so maybe it’s a bit exhausting; but it’s a kind thought
Sam:
-So Sam wants to help so bad; the idea that he can’t fix it doesn’t sit well with him so he will keep trying
-He will help with tasks obviously because acts of service is his love language
-But I also imagine him trying to give comfort but not in the “let me hug you and you can cry on my shoulder way”
-More so in the “look at this photo of a piglet in rain-boots! You can’t be sad while looking at that!”
-Yes you can because that’s not how depression works but still; you put on a smile anyway because he’s just so adorable and he’s trying his best
-This may turn into a sort of “fake it till you make it” situation where eventually you may feel better from his antics
Merry:
-We know this hobbit likes to plan things and is always up for adventure with his friends
-And he’s basically Sherlock of the hobbits so you don’t have to say anything for him to read you like an open book
-He will set you a schedule and will hold you to it by joining you
-He’s not going to go easy on you ngl
-Not in a mean way; but he won’t give you a day to take a break and stay in bed
-Even if you have to half ass everything; you will be doing something
-“you don’t need to wash your hair but you do need to sit in this tub for at least 10 minutes”
-This can feel exhausting at the time and may make you snap at him sometimes but he’s determined because he loves you
-And sometimes tough love is the most helpful
Pippin:
-Can’t get out of bed?
-Don’t worry! Pippin won’t let you be lonely
-He won’t always drag you out of bed. Instead he will join you and talk your ear off
-He brings the “fun” to you
-With the hope that he will either annoy you so much you get up
-Or that his stories give you some level of intrigue to want to go out and see whatever it was he is talking about
Gandalf:
-This is a very old man, he’s seen depression in all states and forms
-He’s a quiet type of comfort
-He definitely says some vague poetic shit that isn’t necessarily helpful but it does have a meaningful lesson
-Offers his pipe
-He is also sort of they type that you are a little afraid to disobey
-Like if he tells you to get outside more; even if you don’t see him, he knows if you have or haven’t
——————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Idk how good this is. I personally do have depression so I know my own experiences with how it affects me, but it shows in different ways for everyone. In terms of comfort and support I’m not fully sure this does any justice, hopefully it’s a little comforting. I have a great support system but I’m notorious for being too stubborn to accept help. Don’t do that by the way, because eventually it will likely stop coming. Let your friends and family support you; it’s not out of pity; it’s because they care and want to help in anyway they can even if that just means checking to make sure you are alive each morning to let you know they are there.
Anyone can message me if they need someone to talk to. I’m no therapist or expert in any sense but I can be a friend :)

the fellowship and how they would comfort you after a nightmare
Sure thing! This is such a cute idea I love it 🥺 no detail is given about the nature of the nightmare, so it’s pretty fluffy & open to interpretation 🥰
How The Fellowship Comforts You After a Nightmare
Aragorn
A pair of hands catch you about the waist. “Careful, beloved, you almost fell,” a deep voice whispers. Aragorn. You start despite the comforting voice, and he notices. Fixing you with a look of concern, he nods encouragingly, letting you speak; you tell him it was a nightmare. “What happened?” He asks, and he listens with great interest as you describe what you saw, what your mind forced you to experience. “The night can be false,” he tells you, moving so close you can feel his breath upon your ear, “bringing forth our greatest fears. But I am here with you in its darkness.” Nodding, you give a small smile as he takes your hands. “Come here,” he beckons, and acquiescing he tucks you into him, your back against his chest and his arm draped over you protectively.
Legolas
“Come." You hear Legolas before you see him, feel the way he reaches for you. Fingers intertwine with yours and shakily you reciprocate the grip. He raises you gently to a seated position, holding you lightly about the waist as you rotate in tandem. You’re facing the window, you realize, looking out into the night. “The stars,” Legolas breathes, “ever have they provided us with hope and comfort. They are looking out for us.” Mystic as his words are, you cannot help but admit that focusing on the distant, twinkling lights is calming, especially in Legolas’s arms. Silently, you nod. Legolas peers down at you thoughtfully before speaking again, pointing out stars and constellations until you are lulled into a much more peaceful sleep.
Boromir
A tear slides down your cheek, but before the lines to reality are fully crossed you feel a hand caress you, wipe the droplet gently. “What ever is the matter?” A voice you would recognize anywhere: Boromir. Before you can speak you’re latching onto him. Stroking the crown of your head, he questions again, this time asking if you are all right. “I will be,” you answer shakily. His lips fall to yours, firmly but with a sense of care, of loving. “Good. You have me until then, and, I’m afraid, long after that, too,” he jokes, pulling you closer. “That means more than you could ever know,” you mutter, nuzzling into his neck and giving in when he shifts to his back, your body draped over his like a warm blanket.
Gimli
Gasping and shooting upward, you are met with a shout that has you exclaiming as well, heart thundering in your chest. Suddenly, looking as though he’s been slapped, Gimli reaches for your hand, taking it in both of his. “Whatever is the matter, my jewel?” You cannot help cracking a feeble smile at his words of endearment even through the involuntary terror you’d awoken to. You apologize, tell him a nightmare had taken you. “Not if I have anything to say about it!” Gimli retorts. “Does it realize who it is up against?” Cue your beloved dwarf highlighting every amazing thing about you, from your beauty to your fighting spirit to simply poetry, all the wonderful things in this world you remind him of. “So if some dream thinks it can take you, it is sorely mistaken,” he concludes, looking satisfied at the upward tug of your lips, the bashful way your head falls against his chest.
Frodo
Stirs with immediate knowledge and understanding of what you are going through, having experienced it many times himself. No words are necessary, only the small, sad nod you share. Frodo's hand immediately trails up and down your arm, spreading grounding warmth across your skin. Your head falls back against his chest in defeat and with a deep breath, he pulls you flush against him, lips pressing against the crown of your head. Frodo never demands words, but listens with deep thoughtfulness if you wish to volunteer them and even shares any similarities in his so you know you are not alone. Especially if any of them embody your worst intrusive thoughts, the hardest things to share aloud. He only feels comfortable sharing the events of his own nightmares because of this dark bond you share, but seeing your face and feeling the caress of your hand upon his cheek is all it takes to cast a light back into his eyes, one that sparks the same for you.
Sam
Sam’s hold upon you is the first awareness you achieve as you are thrust back into reality, your eyelashes fluttering as you make out his form. The moment tension fades from your body, he’s pulling you into him, rocking you gently and running his hand through or over your hair. “Sam, I’m sorry -” “Shhh,” he soothes, smiling gently, almost tearfully, “there’s no need. There’s no need at all. Let’s just stay here.” At your nod, he rests his chin atop your head and tucks your bodies as close into each other as possible, limbs fitting together like puzzle pieces. The last sensation you remember before drifting off to sleep is Sam’s lips lightly pressed against your cheek.
Merry
A gasp alerts Merry to your plight, sending him shooting up into a seated position, looking around the room with concern before his eyes fall sympathetically to you. “Bad dream?” His voice is quiet, hoarse from lack of use. You just nod. “Well that won’t do,” he shoots back, sitting up further and extending a hand. Shakily you take it and are pulled up at his side, an arm slung around your shoulders. “In the Brandybuck household, bad dreams mean storytime,” he tells you with a growing smile, “so your choice. Family legend or embarrassing Pippin story?” You feel your lips curling upward, visions of your nightmare already fading. “Embarrassing Pippin story.” “Great choice! So this one time…well, we’d had one too many tankards, I’ll confess, but I was well until Pippin…”
Pippin
Does not wake up at your first stirring, but as you shift you feel his body move alongside you, turning to face your way. “Are you all right?" He whispers when you fall into his gaze, distress clear upon your face that you both feel and see mirrored in his. “Nightmare,” is all you have to whisper before you’re wrapped up completely in Pippin’s embrace, his legs tangling with yours as his arms wind around you. A smile breaks through on your face when you feel him nuzzle into you with his nose, leading you to snuggle in closer against his soft curls. “I’m always going to be here for you,” you hear him whisper, feel his warm breath as he speaks, “always.”

Fanfic writer interview
Thank you @emmanuellececchi for the tag!! 💖 I've been tagged on this game a couple of times in the past, but I never answered them because looking at my Ao3 Stats just made me feel sad.
Stats are a little better now, and I have thicker skin about it, so here we go! :)
How many works do you have on AO3? 23
What's your total AO3 word count? 72,658
Your top 5 stories by kudos/likes:
Taken (Eomer x OC) *most popular by a large margin!
Greenleaf's Day Out (Child Legolas and family)
The Task of Living (Thorin x Reader)
Breathe (Boromir x Reader)
Dandelions (Boromir x Reader)
Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? Umm. I am shamefully REALLY bad at responding to comments. More often than not, I just don't get around to it! I know that's a terrible thing to do as a writer, because commenters deserve so much appreciation! It is definitely one of my resolutions in the coming New Year to improve on this flaw.
What's the fic you've written with the angstiest ending? The Broken Shield - It's a Thorin fic set during the War of the Dwarves and Orcs, and shows the death of both Elvenqueen Maereth and Frerin, brother of Thorin.
What's the fic you've written with the happiest ending? I like to think most of the fics I write have happy endings, but I've received feedback about Dandelions being particularly "feel good".
Do you write crossovers? Crossovers are not my thing, BUT I did receive a fic request for one from a friend, so I'm going to deliver it just because they asked.
Have you ever received hate on a fic? Never, thankfully. I don't think my reach is wide enough to attract the notice of haters.
Do you write smut? If so, what kind? Nope, I leave smut to the experts. M-level spice is the most I can manage.
Have you ever had a fic stolen? Not that I know of.
Have you ever had a fic translated? Nope, and I can't imagine anyone would want to.
Have you ever co-written a fic before? @scyllas-revenge and I sorta accidentally co-wrote a sort-of fic. LOL. Maybe we'll formalize the partnership eventually. @heilith and I have been discussing a (her)Lindir x (my)OC collaboration for ages now, but we're both so busy offline! I would love to co-write fics, but only with friends I'm confident can tolerate my slowness and focus issues.
What's your all-time favorite ship? I enjoy MANY ships across different fandoms, but none really stand out. On a personal level, I really love my Thranduil x Maereth ship. It means so much to me that I will forever be insecure about sharing it with others, for fear of rejection or criticism.
What's a WIP that you want to finish but don't think you ever will? I want to finish ALL my WIPs and I don't think about ditching any of them. Hope springs eternal!
What are your writing strengths? If you ask me? Worldbuilding and integrating my AU into canon. If you ask others? I've been told I can deliver a decent gut-wrenching piece of prose or dialogue here and there.
What are your writing weaknesses? I am the SLOWEST WRITER YOU WILL EVER MEET. Tons of WIPs. Updates on long fics are a miracle. I honestly question whether I'm cut out for multi-chapter fics, but I keep trying anyway.
What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic? I only do it sparingly, usually using short phrases here and there.
What's a fandom/ship you haven't written for yet but want to? I am chomping at the bit to write for ASOIAF/Game of Thrones/House of the Dragon! I have fic requests waiting for HotD; I just need to get my butt moving on them.
What's your favorite fic you've written? I have yet to write a fic that stands out above the others; I love my fics equally for different reasons.
Bonus: Live shots of me trying to write:
Tagging: @hobbitwrangler @from-the-coffee-shop-in-edoras @heilith @lathalea @missiemoosie
@emyn-arnens @celeluwhenfics @dilettantefeminist @cycas @scyllas-revenge
@cuarthol @entishramblings @lucifers-legions @torchwood-99 @softboiledwonderland
....and anyone who wants to share! I'm not sure which of my writer Moots are on Ao3 or just on Tumblr. :)

SH liveblog Ch14
First chapter & explanation | Previous chapter
Summary:
Gollum explains that his grandma always liked him best and was totally going to leave him all her stuff one day if only he hadn't gone and become a murderer. Coincidentally, she's not around to either confirm or deny this.
Well that does happen. Other stuff happens too, but this does happen.
Boromir is paying Gollum a visit, primarily to apologize for Denethor existing.
He sees shadows and threats in every corner, and accuses everyone around him of being an imposter. It is no wonder that he knew not to make of you, who are a mystery even to those with the clearest thought!
This would sound like an insult from any other character but Boromir.
Gollum clutches his pearls at hearing what Denethor tried to do.
"Set himself on fire!" cried Gollum. "That is the nastiest way to die." He should have asked me if he wanted to die, he reflected. He'd die quiet and quick that way. "He thought it honorable," said Boromir. "He wished that I and my brother would perish with him-" "What! Burning? He tried to burn Boromir?" By Her legses and spinners, what sort of monster is this?
Gollum decides that Sam could easily take Denethor in a 1v1 and stops worrying about Frodo.
"He knows somewhat of the matter," said Boromir. "We have cautioned him." Sam will look after the master, thought Gollum. We was forgetting about that part of things. Yes, he will keep Denethor away even if the Men don't bother enough about it. If She did not daunt him Denethor will not. The memory of Sam and Frodo sleeping curled up together in Cirith Ungol came to him. He felt a little bit strange about it, in such a way that he decided that he wanted to crawl closer to Boromir
Wow, Gollum is getting very sentimental in his old age.
I mean I guess I got that from 'Gollum came this close to being redeemed in canon because he was gooey over Sam and Frodo being cute with each other'
"I would never have imagined a world where I had to warn the greatest heroes of our age not to go near my father," he said.
Hmm. That would sting.
"That will not work, not at all! If his mind is sick and he thinks peoples lie to him, he will look into the hobbit eyes and watch the way they moves their hands, and he will find something not to trust, even if it is really nothing at all- and he will say: They are lying. I was right." He shook his head and reflected that perhaps there was a bit of sense in not wanting a general to be kind and gentle, after all; Boromir still seemed rather naive.
Gollum in this fic seems to be rather good at logical reasoning but from faulty or misunderstood premises. I think here he's actually on the right track. Because he's assuming a sort of cynical paranoia from Denethor that he himself shares
Oh now he's talking about being his grandma's favorite.
Gollum goes on at some length about grandma and ends with this.
Gollum blinked up at him. "It is wretched when someone does not want you any longer," he said, and sniffled. "Even if it was a long time ago and you are only old Gollum and ought to be used to it. Boromir is sad, perhaps?" [...] "It is distressing to see the change in my father," said Boromir, "but I do not fear that he does not love me, or my brother. He is fearful that we have somehow been taken over by the Enemy, or replaced, and at times he treats me as if I am not really Boromir-" He paused. "But I should not take up so much of your time, Sméagol
I get the sense that Gollum was right and Boromir hasn't realized it yet. Also no one else has had the temerity to say 'you're sad because you're used to being the favorite'
"Denethor may fear you, too. He may," he said. "He should. If he was going to do something you thought was cruel or wicked, you would stop him, would you not?"
That sounds plausible to me idk
Boromir politely wraps this up and leaves.
But Gollum could not sleep- he kept hearing faint noises outside of the kind he usually paid no mind to, and starting up thinking it might be Denethor. When he finally slept for a brief snatch in the late afternoon, he dreamt of long arms reaching out of Orodruin to pull and clutch at him, and at Boromir, who had done nothing wrong.
I highlighted Gollum accusing Faramir of injustice a couple chapters ago not just because I am salty that wasn't in the movies but because it's a very tiny shred, a faint inkling, that canon Gollum has a sense of justice and injustice. It is entirely self-serving, but what if he learned to not be so selfish. What then
Cut to later on. Eardwulf and Faelon are together in the same scene for the first time. Gollum thinks it's fun that two people he knows are in the same room.
They're here to take Gollum for walkies.
Lord Faramir wishes to know how you'll conduct yourself while traveling." They could have just asked Sam and Frodo about that
I don't think Sam would give a glowing report??
"Yes, at once, if you're willing," said Faelon. "You seem willing enough!" "Yes, yes, willing, and obliging, nice Sméagol!
OK so I glossed over it at the time because I forgot it turned into a Thing, but in the last chapter this happened:
Sméagol is willing and wants to oblige you, but he is opposed to doing anything he does not see the sense in doing." He turned to Gollum, who was blinking up at him. Willing, was Sméagol? Obliging? Since when?
Gollum seems to be interested in trying different personae (he made a comment some time ago about having had many selves and liked none of them) and he's intrigued by 'willing and obliging' for some reason.
Gollum insists on wearing his ninja outfit even though it's hot out.
There's a real guard outside instead of Suilorion. I think security has been upgraded to keep out Ruling Stewards.
Gollum gets outside and goes nuts digging and sniffing things. The moon is out
the White Face largely hid behind clouds, but he frequently peeked out and sent Gollum shuffling underneath some handy bench or rock. "Does even moonlight trouble your eyes so much, Sméagol?" Faelon asked. "You seem to tolerate the candlelight in your room." "We do not like any light at all," said Gollum, "but we bears it, the Men do not have such clever eyes." He looked warily in the Moon's direction. And the White Face is watching us, he thought. But Faelon doesn't know about that. He thinks it's alright to be seen.
Gollum reflects that his paranoia is exhausting. Wouldn't it be so much easier not to care?
How much pleasanter life would be if he could be seen and not bother about it! Gollum was tired, his head was aching from lack of sleep, and it would be such a relief if he could let go of the worry of being seen.
Then he digs a hole. Eardwulf and Faelon chit chat with him and Eardwulf asks if he's liked digging holes since birth, alluding to the meaning of his name.
"You must have been tiny," Faelon said. "The children of halflings must be tiny."
How old do you think hobbits get before they stop fitting in the palm of your hand
As he's enjoying the conversation and starting to feel content Gollum suddenly thinks of the Ring. I was thinking of that line in canon where Sam notes that Gollum 'will never know peace again' and trying to imply that he'll just think of the Ring at random times when he's just trying to live his life. Gollum feels distressed at the thoughts of the Ring and asks the OCs for their backstories in order to think of something else.
Eardwulf obliges.
"When I was a boy I wanted to grow up to be a horse," said Eardwulf. This was so unexpected that Gollum successfully forgot about the sick hollow feeling he had been distracting himself from. "Well! That is not possible." "A hobbit can grow up to be a frog." Gollum squinted at him. [...] "My people came from Rohan, the land of horses," said Eardwulf. "Have you ever seen such a land?" "I have not. I have not heard very much about it." Gollum would, much later, learn that when he had gone under the Misty Mountains to hide away in the dark, the nation of Rohan had not yet been founded.
This is true. I checked the wiki.
Gollum is also older than the United States of America, for reference.
Dude can you imagine you crawl out of your hole under a mountain and someone invented America while you were gone.
I bet Gollum would love raw ground beef. Let him have burger
"That is sensible for one such as you," said Eardwulf. "I would like to see Rohan, and one day show it to my children. That was not possible during the war." He paused, and then said, in a tone that was oddly wry and sincere at the same time: "Thank you." "He is welcome, of course," said Gollum, "he can talks about Rohan any time he likes, we do not mind it. We asked!
This is not the first time Gollum has been sincerely thanked for saving the world and he didn't notice. The first time was Aragorn many chapters ago.
Anyway, Gollum goes snorfing around and is unpleasantly surprised to find Legolas' scent trail yes really.
Once he had a nasty surprise and caught a scent of Elf. Elfs had a particular mind-aching stink that was utterly unmistakable, even though the trail was cold- the dratted thing had been by hours ago. Gollum had to puzzle over this for a bit, but then he recalled that the Master had traveled with an Elf- the Master had worn an Elfish cloak and was friends with Elves- and since Master's hobbit-friends and Man-friends were all hanging around, it was logical that the Elf was somewhere too. We forgives him for it, Gollum told himself. Sméagol is reasonable, and willing and obliging, too.
Legolas is Sir-Not-Appearing-In-This-Fic. I tried to shoehorn him in somewhere purely because I like him but in the end, it always felt weird because he really has nothing to do with this story.
Eventually he realized he was near the gate into the next Circle. He approached it and sat close by, looking up and over his shoulder at his minders. "You want to go through, Sméagol?" Faelon asked, looking troubled. "Everyone is asleep now," he said. "And if anyone is awake, we will not talk to them! Quiet Sméagol!" "I had not expected you to wish to go so far this night." "There is a place where the water leaps and dances," said Gollum. "A fountain, that's what it is." [...] "But they are all some distance away," said Eardwulf. "Faelon and I are tiring, and you also seem to be tiring. You are beginning to favor your left hand." Indeed, Gollum's hands and feet were still a little tender from his days of crawling all over hard surfaces in the city, and he'd become sore. This did not quite put him off of going to see the fountain, but Eardwulf's next words did: "Are you not yet hungry?"
Eardwulf has found the 'END OUTING NOW' cheat code. Gollum agrees to be carried back to his room.
Gollum wriggled into his arms and curled up with his chin on Eardwulf's shoulder. From his cozy perch he had a good view of Faelon's face. "He looks young," Gollum observed lazily. "I am three and twenty," said Faelon politely. "Just a pup!" Gollum exclaimed.
To be fair, twenty three year olds are literal babies. (I started to notice this when I was twenty three myself and they just look younger every year since)
Faelon was silent for a while. Gollum assumed this was because he was put off by Sméagol's awkward small talk [Gollum asked if he's married] and he was beginning to chide himself when the young Man answered: "I would be wed now, but my betrothed was slain by orcs."
:k
"O," said Gollum. He had no possible way of knowing this, so there was no need to chide himself after all, he'd done nothing wrong.
Gollum is actually correct, I think, but this is not how most people would instinctively react lol
He opened his eyes and saw his long hands clutching Eardwulf's shoulder. He realized his hands were muddy and filthy. I am smudging his nice vest, Gollum thought numbly.
Gollum's hands are soiled and he has a recurring distressing thought of contaminating his loved ones by touching them. yep. it's not. it's not subtle
Just then Eardwulf's hand shifted on his back in a manner that felt like a caress.
Gollum is meant to have no mental concept of someone just casually rubbing his back a little and that's why it has such an awkward stilted description. He is able to sense that this is positive touch and he draws comfort from it.
Gollum felt ancient and fragile. He relaxed his grip and let the Man's arms support his weight.
Next scene, Gollum almost bites Eardwulf
The next thing he knew he was back in his room. He had fallen asleep. Eardwulf had put his hood back and the tips of his fingers just brushed Gollum's cheek. He turned his head, unable to keep himself from being alarmed by an unexpected hand near his face, and Eardwulf quickly withdrew. "You're badly overheated," he said. "I asked Faelon to bring water for a cold bath- if you'll consent to take one, that is."
Eardwulf takes it in stride. Don't make him bite you. Why are you making him bite you
They talk a little and Gollum brings up Bilbo in surprisingly glowing terms.
"Does he know- the old one, he stole things from a dragon! It was the last dragon. I heard it in Lake-town, from big Men that carve cunning things from wood. They were singing praise for the hobbit who stopped a dragon. He told it riddles and carried away its treasure, and it went out, angry, angry, and it... it died." And I was so angry when I heard of it, he thought. I wonders if he cheated it at riddles.
Conversation moves from here to Gollum's own travels to Sam and Frodo:
the hobbits are so soft, so tender. But they- kept- walking." His voice sank to a whisper. "And when he could not walk anymore, the other one picked him up and carried him." "I have heard the songs of the hobbits who walked to the mountain," said Eardwulf. "The songs of the Ringbearer and his servant." "You have? I have not." "Do you wish to hear them?" "No. No.” "The songs break my heart," said Eardwulf, "and I was not there to see it."
🎶Frodooooo of the nine fingers and the ring of doom🎶
"No. No, there are no songs about the Ringbearer's guide."
He hasn't been listening to the right songs. 🎶 IT STARTED WITH A HOBBIT IN GOLLUM'S CAVE OF GLOOM? 🎶
Anyway Gollum is coddled and put to bed. He wakes up when Frodo shows up.
In his dreams he saw the Master, tall and bright, flickering with a white flame. "Wᴀᴋᴇ," he commanded
I've been reading this fic on my Kobo Libra 2. So, I discovered that the smallcaps breaks when you download an ereader file from AO3 and it turns to
'W', he commanded.
Lol
A sheepish hobbit stood by the door, turned aside as if he were leaving. "I'm very sorry," he said. "I could not sleep and I thought to make good on my promise to visit you, since night is your time to be awake, but plainly you were not awake. I did not intend to interrupt your rest."
Gollum doesn't know this. But here's Frodo's intended thought process
>cant sleep
>promised to visit gollum earlier
>fey mood I'm gonna go see him
>see him
>he's ugly
>cold feet
>he's asleep i can escape
>oh no
"Master! He may stay, he may interrupt whatever he wishes!" "Are you sure? I suppose- in that case I will stay. I did promise to visit." "O yes, he promised. Must keep promises!" Gollum agreed, and he scurried across the floor to greet Frodo, patting his knees.
>too late to escape
Gollum insists Frodo sit at the table for a chat. Then he tries to sit on the floor and cuddle Frodo's feet instead of be normal. Frodo gently insists that Gollum leave his knees alone and sit at the table.
Gollum realizes Sam is missing and calls Frodo out on wandering alone.
"Didn't say nothing about guardses," said Gollum. "They are not very good, no, Men is all half-blind but for the King; but you are going about without even your Sam, and that is not needed at all, when he will go anywhere with you, even to the fire, yes, and he would go with you now whether he is sleeping or not, and he will say 'why didn't you wake me, Mr. Frodo, when I was sleeping just there and would have gone with you and instead you was all alone with nasty Sméagol', and there are nastier things than Sméagol. Much nastier, yes, but if you do not want to listen to us anymore we cannot make you." Frodo looked at him oddly. "I dare say you are trying to help me in your fashion," he said at length.
Sounds like Frodo is noticing an unexpected change in Gollum. Not that 'you are trying to help me in your fashion' is exactly complimentary
"I am- glad that you look happy." Frodo hesitated, and said, without betraying any kind of emotion: "Are you?" “Am I?” “Happy, I mean.”
Frodo is probably worried that Gollum may not be capable of being happy. I might worry that if I were him.
That was quite a question. Gollum reflected on it a minute and said: "Not always, of course, master, but Sméagol has nice foods now, and a safe place to sleep. Peoples are kind to him now. He does not want very much more than that. There's one thing they can't give us," he said, with a sidelong glance. "You know." "Yes, I know." "But that is gone, and we will have to- do without it."
Maeron turns up with water and Gollum tries to get Frodo to hide so no one will know he's friends with a murderer. Frodo says everyone already knows and it's not weird it is not weird don't make it weird.
Maeron is shocked and bows to Frodo.
Maeron fumbled with the pitcher, set it down, and bowed deeply to Frodo. Ah, the Men bow to him, Gollum thought, so I must too. He prostrated himself on the floor. "There is no need to bow," said Frodo.
Frodo: stop making it weird please
Aw, man...
I missed the chance for Frodo to also hear Maeron's name and go 'Your name is WHAT?'
Gollum got up and went to get a drink of water. "There is only one cup," he observed, and, after filling it, handed it to Frodo. Frodo had always offered to share water with him, even if Gollum did not ask for it.
This is a nice little moment that highlights Gollum's burgeoning sense of concern for others, even if he is still unable to realize their desires and needs are different from his own, but I wish I had thought of a phrase for Gollum to use that wasn't specifically 'there is only one cup'. It gives me flashbacks. If you know, you know. Henceforth I will nevermore speak word.
Frodo leaves. Gollum asks him to take a guard, and when Frodo doesn't accept Gollum's company
“No, no, Sméagol. The moon is rather bright tonight. I know how its light torments you.”
No no it's for your own good really-
Gollum appoints Maeron to go instead. Frodo reluctantly accepts.
“Me!” Maeron exclaimed. “I would find it an honor if- the Ringbearer will allow it.” “The Ringbearer will compromise,” said Frodo, with a slight slump of his shoulders.
Gollum pouts that he can't go into the moonlight to pal around with Frodo (this was a convenient excuse for Frodo to get rid of him really. but Gollum hasn't twigged to that)
Gollum looks at the moon.
He blinked out at the White Face. His long hands trembled. Nothing happened, except for the light hurting his eyes. He could not shake the impression that- maybe- just maybe the Moon did not actually care about Gollum or what he was doing. And if he did, well- Gollum wasn't doing anything wrong- was he? After a moment of this he felt a bit faint, and withdrew, closing the shutter. I can't do any more, he thought, not tonight, with a feeling as if he were apologizing to Frodo, although Frodo did not know anything of the little bout of silliness he'd just gone through- and a good thing too.
Someone brings Gollum a meal and tells him he's going to go do the errand thing tomorrow.
"I was told to give you a message, as well, Sméagol. The Lord Boromir wishes to embark from here with you in three days' time."
He's pleased. End chapter.

EPILOGUE - CAUSE WE SURVIVED THE GREAT WAR
Synopsis: How are Thranduil and his wife getting along after all these years? Anarríma finally reveals the circumstances of her death.
Word count: 1.4k
Pairings: Thranduil/OC
Warnings: I killed Gimli I'm sorry. But his passing is only mentioned. Other than that, just the usual mention of violence.
Additional tags: excessive domestic fluff. I'M SORRY
Link to the chapter overview
I would always be yours 'Cause we survived the Great War Uh-huh I vowed I would always be yours - The Great War (Taylor Swift)
They would remain in Valinor until the very end of time itself. It took a while for Legolas to grow accustomed to calling Anarríma his mother, but one thing he would never grow accustomed to was his parents being so very much in love with each other. The King and Queen of the Sindar and Silvan elves of Valinor were immeasurably happy there. They had each other and they had Legolas. They would never have to fight another war again.
They had large family dinners on most days, even Thranduil warmed up to Gimli after a time. Celeborn and Galadriel joined them often, Elrond and his family too, on occasion. Sometimes even Finrod and Finarfin, High King of the Noldor. Conversation flowed freely, as did the wine. Until one night, after Gimli and Legolas proudly told the tale of their friend Boromir, of his many heroic deeds and his noble death, the conversation died down and Gimli noticed Anarríma staring down at her plate, barely eating anything.
“If I have offended you in any way, my lady, I am deeply sorry. It was not my intention.” She gave him a sad smile. “No, you have not. Please forgive me, I am not quite myself today.” Legolas’ eyebrows furrowed in concern. “What is it, Nana?” She chuckled a bit. “It is silly.” “It is not,” Thranduil added quickly. Ana took a deep breath and when she looked at Legolas, he was shocked to find tears in her eyes. “3000 years ago today, I died.”
Legolas dropped his bread into his soup, splashing the tablecloth and earning a side-eye from his father. “When I talked to Lord Glorfindel, he said that for him it was not bad to remember his death. Is is different for you?” “Glorfindel died a hero,” she said. “So did you,” at least five other people at the table exclaimed. “I died because I let myself be deceived.” No one said anything. They had all assumed that Ana had simply been overwhelmed by Sauron. “Anarinya,” Celeborn sounded deeply concerned, “you never told anyone what happened, so we thought that-” “That Sauron overpowered me?” she laughed cynically. “He could have. But he did not.”
Time to tell the truth. At last. All eyes were on her. Anarríma finished her glass of wine and finally told the truth about how she died. “Sauron presented himself to me as a being of shadow. I fought for my life, and in the end I managed to wound him too. The shadows dissipated and I thought that I had bought myself some time at least. And when I heard Thranduil’s voice, I felt so relieved.” Confusion, then realization, fear, hurt and anger flashed in Thranduil’s eyes all at once. “He held me, comforted me. He-” she held on to the table so tightly that her knuckles turned white.
The Queen did not lift her gaze from the candles on the dinner table. They were burning low. “He put his hands around my neck and then he-”, she could not go on after that. “You thought I was going to kill you,” Thranduil whispered. “I am sorry,” she sobbed, “I should have known. I should have known immediately.” Galadriel spoke up. “You couldn’t have saved yourself. The Great Deceiver’s illusions are flawless. You had no chance.” They all reassured her that it was not her fault, but their words would not help her. Not on that day.
Legolas did not see his parents until two days later, when he made his way to their library to find something new to read. He found his mother, lounging comfortably in front of the fireplace, reading a book. When he came closer, she turned around and held her finger up to her lips. Legolas carefully approached and when he looked over the back of the sofa, he saw his father, the tall and imposing warrior, curled up on the small sofa next to his mother, with his head in her lap. Legolas shook his head in disbelief. He had never seen his father so at peace. Come to think of it, he had never even seen his father sleep. “You were usually on my other side, demanding I keep reading the book at the risk of waking him up,” she whispered.
Legolas chose a book and sat in a chair next to his mother. “So what do you do when you need to get things done, do you just put a pillow under his head and hope he doesn’t notice?” Ana shrugged. “Usually I do. It never worked with you, and for the last two days it has also not worked for him. Just watch.” She slowly straightened her back as if to get up. One of Thranduil’s hands immediately wrapped itself around her, keeping her firmly in place. Legolas stifled a laugh. “He does not even fully wake up,” she sighed.
“Did I also do that?” Legolas asked. His mother nodded. “You were small enough for me to just pick you up and take you with me. Or at least I could shake your grip. He, on the other hand,” she pointed at Thranduil, not even having to finish her sentence. Legolas had tried arm-wrestling his father. Glorfindel had tried. Gimli had tried. No one had bested him. “Have you really been here for two days?” Anarríma nodded. “Do you want me to wake him up?” Anarríma shook her head. “I don’t think he slept much in the last few thousand years, let’s give him a few more hours.”
Legolas and his mother fell into a comfortable routine quickly. It was odd for both of them at first. Legolas did not really remember what it was like to have a mother, and Anarríma was still coping with everything that had happened to her. She had to get used to having a body again. It took her a while to catch up with all the years she had missed. Sometimes she thought she would wake up to Legolas jumping up and down at the foot of her bed, throwing pillows at her and Thranduil in an attempt to wake them up. But that time was gone forever, and nothing could bring it back and while she mourned having missed so much, she was grateful for the life she got to live now.
A few decades later, Thranduil asked Anarríma for her hand in marriage again. “This time,” he clarified, “it will be your choice, and yours alone.” He presented her with a beautiful ring, a simple gold band with a large rectangular emerald, with smaller rectangular diamonds surrounding it. Anarríma immediately recognized it as the work of Gimli, who had passed away peacefully in his sleep a few weeks prior. The engagement ring as well as new wedding rings for the King and Queen had been his final work.
While their first wedding had been a grand event, their second wedding was a very intimate gathering. Only close friends and family. Celeborn walked his daughter down the aisle again. Anarríma had been crying again, but this time, she was crying tears of joy, knowing that she could be happy forever now, with Thranduil. “More than three centuries ago,” she proclaimed, “I stood at the altar with you and vowed to love you until my dying breath. I have fulfilled this oath, so now I swear another. This time, my vow is this: I will love you and I will be yours. For all eternity.”
Please consider reblogging or leaving a comment <3
When Thranduil lifted his bride’s veil and kissed her, it felt to him as if no time had passed. They were sitting on the floor of his tent, drunk out of their minds after winning the war. She had moved closer to him, one hand on his chest. Thranduil’s had dug his hands into her soft curls. He had known back then that they would be together forever. That all was well now. That they had survived. It felt the same to him now. She had come back to him and would be his forever.

i finished reading the fellowship of the ring for the first time!!!
• one lasting impression i have is that i love boromir so much. when it started snowing on the mountain, he was so concerned for the halflings, it was so sweet. there were many instances like that where both he and aragorn fiercely defended the hobbits, or carried them, and i may pass away if i think about it too much.
• b-bill… 🥺 i was genuinely so sad for sam to have to send his beloved pony away to certain danger. if i didn’t already know from tumblr tolkien lore that bill lives, i would be really sad right now.
• damn, the movies really did gimli dirty, didn’t they? (don’t get me wrong, i love the movies and i have little to no problems with them) but literally no one wanted to go to moria because they knew how dangerous it was going to be. in the movies, it was like gimli was trying to convince the company to go that way. just a difference i noticed!
• i just put the book down, just now, to come type this bullet point because i needed a breather. i am currently, right now, on the edge of my fucking seat!!! (im laying in bed but you know what i mean)
my heart is beating out of my chest! like, i know what’s gonna happen, but they’re sooo close 😫 imagine never having read the books, and the first movie comes out, and you don’t know that gandalf comes back. that would be so insane/devastating.
• lmfao because of that one post on tumblr “when watching fotr with your friends and the balrog shows up you can tell them, this is where legolas starts screaming in the book” but friends. he’s not screaming. he’s wailing it (honestly valid, i would react the exact same way but for a minute just picture movie legolas wailing upon the arrival of the balrog and tell me that’s not funny).
• i like that we get more detail and interaction with the elves in lorien. book galadriel comes across softer, friendlier, less scary (maybe that’s just because movie galadriel scared me with that one scene when i was younger).
• i kept waiting for boromir to die, and i was like, he’s (tolkien is) running out of time here! how can we get to that part AND adequately say goodbye to him?
when i had like 5 pages left i was like yeah there’s no way. i went to my husband all stressed about it and he told me it doesn’t happen until the second book! i was like ohhhhh, okay.
• i can’t wait to start the two towers! of the movies, it’s my favorite and i’m interested to see how that differs.

Just have to say I am soooo encouraging your boromir idea with a fellowship member reader. I am a sucker for fellowship reader and looove boromir. I saw your idea for early morning bathing at the stream. I also think boromir is the perfect guy for inner conflict (tension and a crumbling self restraint!!) about his attraction towards the reader. I think he'd have a lowkey thing for reader that he keeps to himself but during a sparring/training session something would snap in his mind and he'd realize he's willing to cross his own boundaries he set for himself. Nobody in the fellowship is blind to it whether they openly say anything or not. Thank you for giving me an opportunity to talk about my dear lotr friend Boromir
Hi!! I love Boromir very much as well!! And I love your thoughts! I’ve actually started writing that fic properly after I received this ask, it was very inspiring, thank you for your support 🤩
I love the idea of Boromir struggling with his feelings for the reader, trying so hard to ignore it but being unable to. I can’t help but think of what would happen if she got hurt, or he had to protect her from Orcs or something!! I think even if he hadn’t admitted to anyone - even himself - that he had feelings for her, he’d go all out to keep her safe. We saw everything he did to try and protect Merry and Pippin (now I’ve made myself sad 😔)
(I am about to start rambling about Boromir in ways that are not relevant to this ask)
Like he is legitimately such an interesting character (though LOTR is filled with incredibly interesting characters imo). There’s just something so appealing about him, like he’s a strong, brave warrior who is also so gentle at the same time. He can kill a bunch of Orcs and then play and laugh with the Hobbits. And I especially loved seeing more of him in the extended editions!! Like I’d already fallen in love with him when I rewatched the theatrical editions, but there’s so much more to him in the extended versions. And the extended versions of Two Towers and Return of the King are the only way you get to see more Boromir (besides short flashbacks to his death). I mean, the bit where Denethor hallucinates Boromir standing behind Faramir isn’t much, but it definitely made me emotional 🥲 . But the flashback scene in Two Towers should have stayed in!! It was so good and so important. I wish we got to see more of Boromir and Faramir together.
#ask#anonymous#boromir x reader#lovely anon#something i love about LOTR men is that they’re so emotional!! like theyre tough and brave but theyre also unafraid to cry!!!#if anyone ever wants to talk about Boromir PLEASE send me an ask!!

Hello. I hope I am not disturbing you. Can I request matchmaking if requests are still open? It can be romantic or platonic.
(X men/Hobbit/Lotr/Dc/Marvel/Harry Potter/Disney/ I hope it's not too much.) I'm 1.75 tall, chubby, white skinned girl. I am 23 years old. I have curly brown hair that reaches my shoulders and brown eyes. I'm a Gemini. I'm from the Infp.Ravenclaw building. Most of the time I am heterosexual but occasionally I think I am homosexual. I love writing stories, reading, digital drawing, watching movies and listening to music. I am interested in witchcraft, parapsychology, herbs and crystals. I love animals. (Except for those I'm afraid of.) I have an understanding, kind and caring nature. I'm not a brawler. But there are times when my patience runs out. I'm a very loyal person and I can't say no. Sometimes I feel like people don't really understand or don't want to understand me. I'm emotional. I am willing to help everyone,
Hi! You are not disturbing me, don't worry :) Matchups were open when you sent this in! Thank you for requesting one! I hope you like it, I'm so sorry for the long wait <33333

X-Men -
Logan Howlett:
🏍 You met Logan when he visited the X-Mansion - having the mutation to speak to all animals, you were instantly intrigued by the man who had the same name as a Wolverine; Logan was also intrigued by you as well, finding you incredibly kind
🏍 After a couple of months, Logan was actually the one to confess to you, whilst the both of you were on a mission together
🏍 For some odd reason, Logan feels immensely calm around you - he liked to joke that it was because of your mutation and his almost animalistic characteristics; it just brings the both of you closer together
🏍 Logan was actually very interested in your interests - he had never met anyone who was interested in witchcraft - he'd often watch and follow as you went out into forests for herbs and go out to shop for crystals
🏍 You both compliment each other perfectly, both being very loyal to those that you care about, and feeling that others don't understand you; overall, you and Logan are a perfect match

The Hobbit -
Tauriel:
🍂 You were actually a part of the Company when you first met Tauriel; she actually saved you from a giant spider before she, Legolas, and the other Elven guards captured you
🍂 Despite herself, Tauriel visited you a couple of times during the time of your capture; seeing as you weren't a Dwarf or Hobbit - she wanted to know why you had joined them on their journey
🍂 She actually felt sad that you would have to be locked up away until your stubborn King Thorin said otherwise to Thranduil - she knew that it was not your fault that Dwarves and Elves fought; she was chestfallen when you, the Dwarves, and Hobbit escaped
🍂 She was able to catch up with you, joining you at Bard's home; there you and Tauriel spoke about your interests, there she found out that you were a witch and healer
🍂 After the battle of the five armies - you and Tauriel fighting alongside each other - she convinced you to live in Mirkwood with her, and really, how could you say no?

Lord Of The Rings -
Faramir:
⭐ You were actually childhood friends with Faramir - and Boromir but he isn't a man of quality... Anyway, you and Faramir had a very special connection
⭐ You both are very interesting in reading and writing - writing to each other if either were away (doing whatever Faramir/you do)
⭐ Though, when you do find yourselves in each other's presence - which is very often - you spend most of your time sitting comfortably reading together
⭐ When he could, Faramir likes to follow you around and learn more about witchcraft, listening intently as you explained spells, herbs, and so on - in which, later, Faramir gifted you a crystal that you had been wanting - (he really is a man of quality)
⭐ You and Faramir feel very comfortable with each other, feeling seen, and heard - Faramir believes that you are the most beautiful person in all of Middle Earth, your beautiful mind marveling above most - he plans to court you - if you wish to do so - in the future
---
DC -
Clark Kent;
📰 You met Clark when you accidently bumped into him on your way to work, you coffee crashing and drenching yours and Clark's shirt - you were both very apologetic, and Clark offered to buy you a new coffee (cliche, I know); you got his number in the end (win-win)
📰 What was quite funny at the time, you bumped into Clark again! I know, life is crazy... But, you and Clark bumped into each other - thankfully on both of your days off - and the both of you decided to take a walk around a park together
📰 A couple of months later, you and Clark had become a couple - and then... You met Superman - and you instantly knew he was Clark (despite the spell his glasses held) you knew, witchcraffttttt
📰 You knowing, though worrying Clark that you might become a target, (you could take care of yourself); overall, it did bring the two of you closer together - power couple
📰 Clark loves how much you cared for the people you loved/cared about; he loves how much you help others, and he loves how loyal you are - and he loves how interested you are in parapsychology, he finds your interests very... Well, interesting

Marvel -
Natasha Romanoff:
🌹 You met Nat when you joined the Avengers - you are quite powerful - having the power to talk to animals and many forms of witchcraft
🌹 She really first started spending time with you after a particularly tough mission between the both of you - she had that 'awe crap, i'm in love moment' when you got shot - though you quickly healed yourself with your craft
🌹 From then on, you and Nat were attached to the hip, spending most of your time together - snacking, baking, reading, training, missions, and even drawing together on rare occasions
🌹 You even had your first kiss at one of Tony's parties, dancing together during a slow song; it was very romantic, the world just fading away around the both of you
🌹 You and Natasha are truly amazing together - amazing fighters, amazing minds, and amazing hearts
---
Harry Potter -
Fleur:
💌 You met Fleur during the tournament, as she walked down the rows of tables in the Great Hall, you were in love; as simple as that (and it wasn't just because she was half Veela)
💌 Fleur had felt quite the same, as she walked down the rows of tables, her eyes met yours, and there was just this amazing connection - a zing if you will - and from then on, you and Fleur met up as much as you could during the tournament
💌 When you could spend time together - though few in between - you would meet up in the library and read together, share your favorite books, and often softly read to each other
💌 After the tournament, you both swapped addresses, so the both of you could keep in touch; when possible, you both met up during the summer
💌 When you both spent time together during the summer, you and Fleur would often take walks, spending time in forests and wildflower fields, often braiding each other's hair; life was peaceful and perfect
---
Disney -
Ella:
🕊 You met Ella at the ball of all places, dressed in your finest attire, you spotted Ella when she was dancing with the Prince; you found her incredibly beautiful and oh-so wished that you could be dancing with her
🕊 After the ball, you had heard that the Prince was having another ball, for he still needed to find a woman to marry - you guessed that he and Ella didn't have the connection everyone thought they had
🕊 The next time you saw Ella, you were in the market, getting herbs, when you ran into her - you felt a instant connection, there was just something about her smile, her eyes, that you - and Ella - felt something between the both of you
🕊 You often met up to talk when shopping in the market, which you both usually just ended up talking more than shopping; you both spoke about your interests, drawing, reading, and so on
🕊 It wasn't until later that you heard about her living situation; it was then your wish to take her out of that environment - you had a plan to help her
🕊 And you did, when the time was right, you asked Ella to move in with you - you had more than enough room, and she said yes; and from then on, the both of you lived happily ever after

End of Year Fic Recs
Thank you @emyn-arnens for tagging me, it actually made me remember to leave comments on some fics I've read while on holiday. I haven't read or written many fics this year, particularly not long ones, hence why I've gone with my own sections but here we go!
Fics from 2023
Something of Home by @emyn-arnens (G, Faramir & Finduilas of Dol Amroth, <1k) Heartbreaking, precious portrayal of Faramir's relationship with his mother at the time of her death. It is canon to me now.
Something Burrowed, Something Blue by @scyllas-revenge (G, Took/Fairy Wife, 11k) How the Took ancestor met his wife. Funny, sweet and so hobbit-like, I loved Milo and Beryl, the author writes fairy nature perfectly.
cold be sleep under stone by Feanoriel (Ar-Pharazôn, <1k) Ar-Pharazôn in the Caves of the Forgotten. So many chills reading this, the writing style is so vivid, I could feel the undead misery in the darkness.
On These Hither Shores by @emyn-arnens (G, Boromir & Frodo, 3.2k) Frodo and Boromir discuss their hopes and fears. I keep thinking about this fic, it's one of those stories which follows you around and won't let go, it's a great depiction of Frodo and Boromir and their relationship.
The Last Midwinter by @sallysavestheday (G, Frodo Baggins, Sam Gamgee, other fellowship members, 1.3k) Sam and Rosie devise a plan to lift Frodo's spirits. This filled me with so much joy (of the slightly sad kind) it's so sweet.
Untitled by @i-am-a-lonely-visitor (Elros/Elros's wife) I love the complex relationship that is encapsulated in this snapshot and the unsettling youthfulness of the peredhil.
The Farewell Feast by @searchingforserendipity25 (G, Gandalf & Galadriel, 2.4k) Wonderful exploration of Galadriel's thoughts at the end of the Third Age and her relationship with Gandalf.
what the shadows hid by @swanmaids (T, Luthien/Thuringwethil, <1k) Thuringwethil leaves her mark on Luthien. One of those fics where every line is so expertly crafted, flavoured with my favourite horror undertones.
Untitled by @vidumavi (Vidumavi/Valacar) Not enough fics about these two but this is such a heart-warming snapshot of their relationship.
The Broken Shield by @sotwk (G, Thorin, Frerin, Thranduil, Thranduil's wife, 9.5k) In which both Thorin and Thranduil lose one whom they love. Great depiction of elf-dwarf tensions in the midst of their alliance.
Fics from pre-2023
Nine Fingers by Prackspoor (G, Frodo, Sam, Merry, Pippin, 6.3k) The hobbits encounter a mysterious stranger on their way home. Such well done suspense, I was so nervous reading this and it's such an interesting concept.
Burn Like Cold Iron by @scyllas-revenge (T, Boromir/OFC, 155k) An absolutely elite take on the ninth walker trope. Funny, heartfelt and perfect characterisation, plus a great main character. All relationships, romantic and otherwise, are so thoughtfully written.
Warming Hearts and Hearths by @starspray (G, Gandalf & hobbits, 1.3k) Gandalf encountering hobbits, what more do you want? My heart was certainly warmed.
Queen Under the Mountain by @imakemywings (T, Dís, Dáin, 2.9k) Such a heart-wrenching exploration if Dís's grief and all the complicated emotions surrounding the return to Erebor.
consuming by siraetha (T, Khamûl, Sauron, <1k) A great concept explored so vividly, I could feel the heat and the horror while reading this.
Use Well the Days by @cycas (G, Círdan/Lalwen, 2.7k) Círdan and Lalwen discuss whether they have a future. I am rapidly warming to this ship and really enjoyed how this fic explores tension between the elves.
The Floor Is Molasses by @scyllas-revenge (G, Boromir, Sam Gamgee, Merry Brandybuck, Pippin Took, 2.6k) Hobbit chaos plus Boromir lives and of course absolutely hilarious.
My fics from 2023
Too Burdened to Fly (G, Finduilas of Dol Amroth, 3k) A look at Finduilas' thoughts during her final moments.
A Monster in the Shadows (T, Éowyn & Théoden, 3k) In the aftermath of her parents' death, Éowyn is plagued by fear. Nineteen years later, it returns.
At the Death of a Friend (G, Saruman & Galadriel, 3.4k) Saruman has not heard Galadriel's voice in years. But in the aftermath of Gandalf's death, they speak one last time.
And there we go, just about in time for New Year!

not to be dramatic but NOTHING in the past year has made me cry as much as oromis' passing. okay wait i lied sad boy passing might still win but i mean it when i say that it was written and overall executed PERFECTLY and glaedr's pain alone was enough to make me cry for at least ten long minutes and im still sitting here, tears in my eyes, unable to finish the last ten pages of the damn book because. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO MOVE ON.
and yes in a way brom's death was more meaningful and yes ive cried because of it but when he died we didnt yet fully know his full role in the series so i at least was not able to grieve him as much as he "deserved" immediately when he died. as weve found out what he reslly meanr ive cried a lot but with oromis' death we already know all there is to know about this dude (at least i think so) and glaedr's pain and the setting and everything- i just cant stop the tears it is so moving.
brom also didnt leave a lonely dragon after him since he had already lost his love, in fact BOTH his loves, so even though the whole community was left to miss him he ultimately got to leave the sorrow of living without your soulmates whereas oromis left glaedr to suffer this sorrow.
but all in all id like to thank christopher paolini for executing his passing so perfectly. even though the reading experience was cruel (and i have yet to find out what really happens to glaedr) i havent read a scene of someones passing this fulfilling like. ever. and im a boromir girlie. i felt as every word filled my body one after another and how my body took the shape oromis' and glaedr's pain as its own. and it was terribly sad but so beautiful and fulfilling. admittedly its a little peculiar to call the loss of someone and the HUGE hole he left in all our hearts fulfilling but in the end that is what it was, for me at least. it took over my existence, thats how touching it was.
#oromis#glaedr#SPOILERS#the inheritance cycle#eragon#brom#christopher paolini#i feel like i can physically feel glaedrs pain and the tears just wont stop#its so good yet its so overpoweringly sad#its taking over me

I think the funniest thing so far that has come out of me rewatching and reading LOTR for your fic is that I’m finally starting to wrap my head around it all. There are still a lot of things that still confuse me but I’m like, starting to get it. Feel like I’m a 5th grader shoved into 11th grade history sometimes but yknow what I’m gonna get through it
Also indeed Boromir CAN get it. I totally forgot everything about him with the ring and it makes me excited to see what you do with him hehe
You've caught me, the fic isn't a fic but actually some subtle pro-Boromir propaganda to save folk from falling into the trap of viewing him as a villain in the early stages of becoming So Normal about this series.
But NO, honestly, confession time? I did not like the movies the first time around (I hadn't read the books) when I was 13. Like, I thought they were crap. I think because I watched them with friends so it's never the same as fully immersing yourself into something? Then I couldn't get them out of my head and watched them again a week later on my own and uhhhh now I am like this. So I'm honoured to be dragging you back into them! It's how I make my amends for being so woefully wrong all those years ago.
I think what's nice about how much it can be to take in, especially with the books, is that after you just roll with it and stop being stressed out about not understanding some parts, it adds so much repeat value for later? Like each time you watch/read you pick up something new or understand new bits that you just had to gloss over last time, it's lovely.
God, the whole thing with him being affected by the Ring is going to be rough, though. Like things aren't exactly sunny now, but it's going to be so sad - like at least with Norrington, when things started getting grim and dark he had his faculties about him and could think somewhat clearly 90% of the time? Whereas this is just sad.

i am re-reading Those Books for the first time since i was a wee bab, and i had to stop to take a minute because i was so overwhelmed - for about the 78th time - but THIS time it was because of boromir, and the fact that he just went on this insane trek alone, away from his men, from gondor, from his family - from FARAMIR -
and i'm thinking about Oh My God Was This Faramir's Quest because the valar or WHATEVER sent faramir the dream to go to rivendell over and over and over, until finally they got fed up and sent it to boromir ONCE -
but also, this could only ever have been boromir's burden, because he would never have let faramir take the risk - and indeed he did not let him take the risk! - because he loves him so much, because he is daring and brave but mostly because he's his brother (i'm not there yet in the book but movie-boromir calling aragorn "my brother" - kill me now, kill me DEAD) and as a younger sister with a big brother i love v much, i get SO SAD AND MOVED by Big Brother Boromir, protector of the small, protector of little friends and little brothers -
it could only ever have been boromir, brave but fallible, to test himself against the ring's thrall and fail - it could only have been boromir who confessed his failure, who gave his life anyway trying to protect merry and pipping, because even though he fucked up, he was still a good person, he was still boromir -
i don't know who else to cry about this to but like. HOLD ON. HOLD ON. I NEED A MINUTE.
Oh poor dear anon, feel free to talk about Boromir with me anytime!! You're absolutely right he was doomed by the narrative- no one else would have gone on this quest but him, and it never would have ended without him falling prey to the ring. He's just so very human and I love him so much
#boromir#i love when my mutuals talk about this man#at least he lives on in our hearts#and our fanfics

For the emoji asks: 📽 ✂️🎵💿
?
(Middle-earth emoji asks)
📽 action!: rank all six of the films (or three if you're a hater)
Hmm I love them all and am very much not a hater so this might be tricky! From best to worst: 1. The Return of the King which has excellent battle scenes and is beautiful and wraps up the trilogy perfectly. 2. The Fellowship of the Ring because it’s gorgeous and probably the most book-faithful of the three. 3. The Two Towers which is still wonderful and I love it so much. 4. The Desolation of Smaug because it’s very fun. 5. An Unexpected Journey – it drags a bit tbh. 6. The Battle of the Five Armies – I still like it but it’s too bloated, and Bilbo doesn’t get enough to do :(
✂ cutting room floor: of all of the things that didn't quite make it into the movies, what would you have most liked to see?
Honestly I think most of things the movies cut were pretty sensible – a novel just isn’t the same medium as an action movie trilogy, and most of the big things that they left out would have ruined the pacing. I would like to see more songs in the movies, though! If I had to pick one to include, it would be the Lament for Boromir because it breaks my heart every time.
🎵 can you sing, master hobbit?: Which song (from books or movies) is your favourite?
Oops I just answered this without realising lol. It is the Lament for Boromir! It’s a gorgeous piece of poetry and so sad and with such a lovely conceit (asking the winds for tidings) and when I was about twelve I made up a melody for it which I genuinely am still very proud of.
💿 leitmotifs and orchestras: which of the films songs (Howard Shore or singer) is your favourite?
Howard Shore is a genius and his work is IMPECCABLE and it is very hard to pick a favourite part of his score, but I think I’ll go with the Laketown theme from the Hobbit films. It’s so quaint and pretty!! It gets across the vibe of the town so well!!

Excuse me i just need a moment to cry because how amazing older brother Boromir was 😭
They were both so misunderstood and miserable all the time just two brothers with a shitty father i am deeply and forever in love with both of them and i will not let anyone shit talk about either of them.
And don’t even get me started on how different everything would be if it was really Faramir who would go to Elrond.
Like— Boromir was just so broken at some point, weak of mind because of the weight of expectations on his back, so desperate to do everything perfectly so he just spiralled into the darkness.
And than Faramir, so used to being worse brother, so mistreated and so freaking sad.
And yet, they loved each other so much, something rare between siblings who have to carry a burden such as a father like that.
Yeah, sorry, just got a bit emotional there 😭
#boromir#faramir#lotr#i’m not crying you are#the lord of the rings#seriously someone give them a big hug#deserved better

SH liveblog Ch15
First chapter & explanation | Previous chapter
Oh this is the Déagol dies chapter.
This is Part Three. I resisted utterly the characterization of Gollum as two characters in one body but quoted The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde anyway.
I set this scene in Deagol's POV for two reasons:
He's barely a character and it sucks for him that he exists to be fridged and I'm giving so much time and attention to his killer
I wanted to be differentTM
Déagol and Sméagol are having an argument about leaving the village.
"If you're leaving this village you're leaving it alone, my love!" They often referred to each other by such appellations. It had started off as a sarcastic game, after Déagol's mam had told them to stop being so rude to each other. Maybe it still was a game. They didn't really know why they did it anymore. Perhaps it was due to having no one else that would tolerate them taking such liberties.
I feel like I'm overexplaining a detail from canon that didn't warrant an explanation.
"How wild is it?" Déagol whined. "I just want to leave this stinking place, and all of the other awful piddling little settlements, and follow the River a bit, and if we find any travelers, we might get something nice from them. You're strong and quick, it would be easy for you. It wouldn't be so easy for me, with my bad leg. Have pity!"
Oh Deagol wants to be a highwayman??? What
''Have pity" to the character who will murder him and then end up groveling for pity is- super blatant, but creepy?
Timeskip to river scene. Anaaaannnd Deagol dies!
He will not let go, Déagol realized. Thief! THIEF! His last living thought was: How I hate him!
At the last he's more preoccupied with the loss of the Ring than with his own murder because the Ring is like that.
Cut to Gandalf and Pippin in present day. Their mild affection is- quite a contrast to Sméagol and Déagol, who were sniping at each other and both seemed like desperately unhappy people.
"Well, Mr. Took," he said, "and why do you wish to do so?" "Why," said Pippin, "I don't see enough of good old Boromir these days, and he'll be along. And I suppose I feel as though if Frodo can't go, it would be a good thing if someone else can, sort of in his stead, and it makes sense for that to be me, I think." "Frodo is no longer responsible for Sméagol. You, certainly, never were."
This carries a note of 'don't meddle in something no one wants to be involved in and certain others would give their right ear to get out of'
And after all I suppose I am a bit curious about him. [...]" "Ah," said Gandalf. "I must warn you, he is not likely to respond in a manner that pleases you if you interrogate him. I found that experience dreadful."
To be fair I don't think Gollum had fun either.
Tl;DR Pippin is going along and that is that. And so is Merry. Because he thinks he might as well.
They spent the time waiting in pleasant conversation. Merry and Pippin first wanted to know if Boromir was drinking his tea every day the way he should be. He was. Then the hobbits talked about whatever they liked, and Boromir listened. He was intensely interested these days in old Took family stories, outdated Shire gossip, and anything that had nothing to do with Denethor or with Gondor or even with Men.
Boromir stuffs his complicated family history into the back of the cabinet for a little while to have a break
Eardwulf shows up with Gollum.
"He's being carried!" Pippin exclaimed. And by choice, judging from how he was hanging onto the Man and babbling away to him. "Yes, he is. He is quite able to walk," said Boromir, "though his fashion of motion looks strange, at times. He was weak for a time and had to be carried, and it seems he has grown to enjoy such attentions from those he trusts." This reminded Pippin that he himself had unexpectedly become too big to be carried by friendly Big People, at least, not unless it was an emergency, and he felt a bit sad. He'd once enjoyed riding on Boromir's shoulders.
:'(
Boromir explained that Smeagol is carried around in part because once you set him down, you don't know where he is anymore.
"I am told he is easily distracted and will wander away to explore, and he creeps behind objects, or underneath them, and he is unexpectedly swift, and he has a knack for becoming muddy or wet."
Sméagol sort of re-introduces his new self to Merry and Pippin, who are now in formal armor and a bit more intimidating to him than they have been up to now.
He made a motion as if he wanted to dart forward, then caught himself. He looked around, suddenly wary, and he eyed Pippin's armor with awe and a bit of alarm. [...] "Pippin is a Guard of the Citadel," said Merry. "And I am a guard of Pippin for the day." "A guard, is he? Of this big place, the city of Men?" Gollum stared up at him. He looked very much as if he thought Pippin the one who was a figure from a tale, and himself quite ordinary. "Very well, if he says he is. Hobbits can do anything, can't they? Next they will be telling Sméagol hobbits can fly," he said, in a lower tone, to himself, "and he'll believe them, my precious." [...] "Is that it, my precious? No, no, they didn't come and see us, but they are here now! They are both here!" Gollum chortled to himself- a strange sound in his throat, like the burbling of a stream. "And Boromir is here too!
Weird chortling! He's learning new noises!
Gollum also introduces Eardwulf to Merry and Pippin, but instead of doing so normally, he does it while Eardwulf is talking to Boromir and in kind of the way a little kid will walk up to you and start announcing something they think is important, without any context whatsoever.
Something cold and wet touched Pippin's leg. He jumped, then looked down to see that Gollum had nudged him. "Eardwulf looks after us," said Gollum. "I see!" said Pippin. "He was carrying you, wasn't he?" "He says we doesn't weigh hardly anything, precious," said Gollum. "Poor skinny Sméagol! But- he is a strong Man, eh?" Eardwulf stood there stiffly and said nothing. "Hello, Eardwulf!" said Pippin. "I'm Peregrin, son of Paladin. I'm very pleased to meet you."
The pleasantries over, they set off.
Gollum sat on the ground and observed Merry and Pippin. He seemed in no hurry to budge from where he was. [he's having fun lol] "Come on, then!" said Pippin, beckoning awkwardly.
They do successfully leave.
"Sméagol expects to see orcses today," Gollum said, leaning conspiratorially close to Pippin. There was a scent of rotting meat on his breath.
Ah lovely. And inevitable.
The premise here is that Gollum is being taken to a tunnel that had orcs in it but they left. They're taking him there just to see what he'll do, and whether or not it's at all possible to work with him even enough to bring him somewhere in a cart.
Gollum thinks the tunnel is probably not really abandoned because orcs would have snuck back into it after the Men thought it was clear and left.
"Say, you haven't got a sword, Sméagol," said Merry. "I've never heard of you ever having one either. Is there any particular reason you don't have one?" "Ha, ha! Does he think Boromir would give us one?" He glanced over at Boromir under half-lidded eyes. Boromir returned the glance. Merry studied him. "Say, I don't know," he said, "would you, Boromir?" "In fact, I attempted it," said Boromir.
Boromir gives an excuse but I'm pretty sure he just looked at Gollum and thought 'tiny. tiny man needs sword.'
Gollum and Boromir have had enough establishment together that they can now believably act friendly with each other when viewed by a 3rd party POV, with no more need to explain their motivations for enjoying each others' company by being inside their heads.
The conversation continues.
He withdrew a folded piece of paper and unfolded it, primly smoothing out the creases. "They asked us about our family." "Why yes, we did ask that," Pippin said.
Oh they did ask that. That was many chapters ago.
Gollum's tried to draw a family tree of his village.
"Gran did not like Sméagol's mother. She had to leave, and father had to go away too if he wanted to be with her." He lowered his voice. "Sméagol isn't sure he should talk about it, but the nice hobbit won't tell anyone, eh, will he?" "No, no, of course I won't if you wouldn't like me to!" Pippin said, handing Merry the paper ('oh thanks for that, Pip', Merry said, when he felt how slimy it was).
lmao
[Pippin] wondered what his own mother was thinking right now, about him going off for so long, and if anyone thought he and Merry were dead, and if any one of them would go home to find his things being auctioned off like poor old Bilbo had.
No they made that illegal after Bilbo was such a pain about it
Gollum starts talking about how much his dead parents sucked (apparently he heard a lot of vicious gossip about them growing up), and Pippin talks him into giving them the benefit of the doubt.
"O," said Gollum in a tiny voice. "That may be. They didn’t understand lots of things." "So- you oughtn't call your parents silly," said Pippin. "I'll bet they never wanted to die and leave you alone." "I... I do not know," said Gollum. "I won't say anything more about it."
He changes the subject.
"Boromir says Pippin saved him from fire!" "Well, sort of," said Pippin. "I went and got Gandalf and he saved Faramir and woke Boromir, and Boromir got up and saved his father, even though his leg was bad." "But they would all have burnt up if Pippin hadn't fetched Gandalf?" Gollum asked. "Yes," said Merry, before Pippin could answer. "Pip's a hero." "He saved them," said Gollum. "He needn't bother about little things, like who pulled who out of where. That is all silly. Like the master. Master got rid of the- the Precious." "You helped," said Pippin. "Yes, I helped him do it," Gollum said. "But it wouldn't have gotten in the fire without-" "Without Sam," said Gollum, with a warning glance. "Yes, yes, we knows it." "Oh, absolutely it wouldn't, but also-"
Having failed in his attempt to control the narrative Gollum abruptly changes the subject again
"What is the Shire like?" Gollum was tracing patterns on the bottom of the cart with the tip of his finger, "Lots of little hobbitses?"
They talk a little about how cozy and peaceful the Shire is and by extension that is how hobbits are.
"And they goes a-wandering," said Gollum. "Yes. Finds dragonses and monsters." "I dare say we are not known for that!" Well, perhaps the Tooks are, thought Pippin. Gollum blinked back at him, quite calm. "No? That was before. Now you are wanderers and heroes. Yes, yes! That is what they thinks of hobbits in Dale, ever since Baggins went. Now it is what they thinks of hobbits in Gondor. And they are right, because that is what hobbits really did." "Well, maybe you're right about what Men will think, but I'm not sure the Shire will agree," Pippin said. "You know, most of them don't think you're a real person, Sméagol." "They tells tales in the Shire?" Gollum asked diffidently. "Tales about- Sméagol,eh?" "No," said Merry. "We've got one story about Gollum, though." "Ach! Yes, yes, I know that story well enough," said Gollum.
Gollum is sort of playing with the idea of going home with them. In fact, this is what he did do, in the first draft of this fic. (That draft ended with him leaving the city, there is no gollum-in-shire content to share)
But by the time this chapter was posted I had revised the outline and knew Gollum is in fact going to choose to stay in Minas Tirith at the end, so he is shyly sort of getting to like it but not really and maybe in denial about wanting to stay.
Gollum looked suddenly, surprisingly shy, and his voice was quiet. "[...] the King says we might not stay here forever, and I do not know where I'll go." [Merry and Pippin try to explain that Aragorn actually will let him stay forever if he wants to] Do you not like the city?" Pippin ventured. A change of subject once again seemed appropriate. "No... no, we got lost." "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. I quite like Minas Tirith." "Why?" "The people are lovely," said Pippin. "And it's beautiful, I think." "Good taverns too," said Merry, "although perhaps you don't go in for that, Sméagol. [...] "Smooth stone," he said. "Sweeping tall things. [...] We climbed up things and we went up, up like a mountain," said Gollum. "Like a tree of rock, it was, and there was nice pigeons at the top, yes!" [...] "Yes, yes, the wall, it is high up! We could see everything! No. Not everything. Too much to see everything. It is so vast. So big," said Gollum. "Did he see the fountains? They says there are four. We only saw one."
Anyway soon after they pull up near the tunnel and Gollum vanishes.
He comes back a little later
They were in the middle of teaching Boromir to play cribbage when Pippin looked to the side and saw two gleaming eyes staring back at him. He leapt to his feet with his hand on the hilt of his sword, Merry following suit and Boromir somewhat more slowly.
and he's asking for water again.
But Sméagol is so terribly thirsty; might he have a bit of water?" His voice was tiny and sad.
I didn't realize how MUCH of a theme this was.
He gets his water and leaves. And that's that chapter.

aaaaaaa so tumblr is not a functional website and it ate my next two drafted asks so prepare to get tagged in textposts but @brambleberrycottage sent Lord of The Rings (which will be v interesting bc im quite new to this franchise so pls dont crucify me i know nothing im baby lol) for the fandom ask game:
✨ send me a fandom and i'll answer with the following!
blorbo (favorite character, character I think about the most)
↣ VERY IMPOSSIBLE CHOICE but i think i have no choice but to go with aragorn. idk i dont know enough yet about all the lore of the universe to unpack this but. idk. something about that specific Flavor of generational trauma and the concept of corrupted legacy/rejecting his bloodline and coming back to it and learning to accept it and himself and what that means for middle earth in the grand scheme of things and h ow he has to 'forgive' himself/his kind to help everyone else. idk idk. It Compels Me. ive only seen the movies 3 times and i have not yet read the books so im sorry if im saying anything stupid aldjfkfhf 😭
scrunkly (my “baby”, character that gives me cuteness aggression, character that is So Shaped)
↣ SAM!!! SAMWISE GAMGEE !!! SAMWISE THE BRAVE! he is so so friend shaped i just love him so much so many of his scenes make me ugly cry. he was my big toss up for blorbo in this ranking. but i want to squish him. you know ???????
scrimblo bimblo (underrated/underappreciated fave)
↣ NO idea who is underrated in this fandom but i have a Soft Spot for boromir. hes that type. the type we've discovered i always love. the traumatized man with emotional problems who is overconfident. akdjfkfjfkgfj and i KNOW he obviously has his faults but he redeems himself and he reminds us of his true character and he does right by those halflings in the end by god 😭😭 still sad abt it
glup shitto (obscure fave, character that can appear in the background for 0.2 seconds and I won’t shut up about it for a week)
↣ again not that obscure probably idk enough of the more background ppl yet and idk who is popular but i have a soft spot for king theoden. his speech on the hill about burying his son always rly gets to me and he seems very noble and level-headed and fair, if not a little bit prideful at times. so interested in the concept of legacy and the way he talks about it and then how aragorn talks about it too and i always wonder if there is meant to be contrast/reference between them.
poor little meow meow (“problematic”/unpopular/controversial/otherwise pathetic fave)
↣ LISTEN..... DO NOT COME FOR ME BUT ITS KIND OF SORT OF SMEAGOL......hear me out. if faramir hadnt caused frodo and same to betray him i think he might still have been good and might still have been free of the ring at last. and idk if that lines up w the lore at all i may be talking out of my ass. im just saying i feel so so terrible about that twist happening to him bc he seemed so happy and free before the ring and then its just IMMEDIATE awfulness and crimes forever. he must be suffering. he died suffering. for the stupid ring. id like to think in another universe he gets something better.
horse plinko (character I would torment for fun, for whatever reason)
↣ im sorry this is literally frodo i think 😭 canonically and also fandom-wise. frodo ily i am sorry this burden ruined your life it PHYSICALLY pains me, literally, yet i cannot stop reading about it and thinking abt your struggles.
eeby deeby (character I would send to superhell)
↣ OBVIOUSLY SAURON OR SARUMAN.....NEXT QUESTION
#star unasks#as i said ive seen these movies a limited number of times and am not very aware of the lore#so i have no idea if ive said anything insane or not#if so please forgive me these are very casual thoughts lol#lotr#thank u so much for the ask and im sorry this webbed site ate it !!!!#brambleberrycottage#star.txt
