Can I just say THANK YOU for making the reader in Cemetery Gates slightly taller than Copia? As someone who is tall, reading fics where the reader is shorter is harder for me to immerse myself into because I’m like “nah guys I’d be lowkey looking at the top of this man’s head”. Excited to see where the story goes!!

AAA OMG this is the second positive reaction to Reader’s height I’ve received in two days! I am thriving rn!!!! I am so so so glad to hear this feedback!!!

I can’t imagine my existence as being anything other than tall, which is why I often get frustrated when fics are ambiguous about everything except Reader’s height. Of course, I’m taller than average, and the average reader is generally the one being catered to, and I know how difficult it is to play around with the wording when comparing heights while being vague, so I know I don’t have much room to complain, but still, it’s a little unfair that this is the one attribute that’s explicit (of course, this is barring xReaders where the character in question is ridiculously tall and would make anyone look small)… I’ve gotten so pro at going completely blind to lines that involve Reader being like,, two thimbles tall. Someone give me a trophy for selective reading 👍🏻

I’m always nervous about including height descriptions (considering I strive for reader ambiguity), but seeing as I’m writing Cemetery Gates solely from a place of self indulgence, and how sweet darling Copia is only 5’7, I couldn’t bring myself to break canon and make him taller in order to appease the “he looked down at you” line tropes. It's really refreshing to finally allow myself to write for a taller Reader character after refraining from doing so for years, even if it may end up potentially driving some readers away?? I’m so glad several people have reached out to say they’re happy with my portrayal of Reader as tall, because it means I’m not alone in my frustration and also means that Copia is a short king and the little spoon 🤷🏻‍♀️

So again, thank you SO MUCH for your feedback ❤️❤️❤️ It seriously means so much that people are reacting positively to this choice

Babes/mutuals, I am so sorry if this becomes a temporarily sprinkled with salty anti-Taylor Swift content blog. Nothing against her personally though.

My best friend came to spend a week of vacation, and because it’s her fave, I helped her for hours to get tickets for one of the Brazil concerts.

But through this whole week, it’s been non-stop TS. She’s far from catering to my taste, honestly she’s just meh as a person, I try not to look too deep into that but also really don’t care, just bear with her songs. Bff is playing her 24/7 now, though, and by using my Alexa, my spotify algorithm is showing her in my playlists all the time too.

So, if I turn salty, just know that there was no escape, so I came here.

Might become annoying of me, but like, I will tf hell not tell her to tone it down. Girl deserves her happiness, and I’m the happiest she’s going on this week-long celebration for knowing she’ll see her idol in some months. My brain might end up oozing out of my ears by the end of this, but it’s pretty much worth it. She’s the best.

Get yourself friends who love you even through your most annoying (and keep their own annoyance quiet because you deserve your moments to be each important kind of yourself),

May very lightly scold Yuu for making him embarrassed, but it's definitely not a serious reprimand. Yuu could tell from how vibrant his petals were for a while that he was actually very happy.

whether he’s the victim in things, or is to be partially blamed for what’s happened to him, that i cannot say or be certain of. but ik that Chase displays struggles with his mental health (as visibly seen/portrayed in both his Power Hour and CHASE videos) and it can be difficult to navigate exactly who and how you are in certain situations
