Pink Robin Au goes kinda wild ngl (this totally isn’t me trying to to get more people to ask me about my AU whaaaaa never)

So like I know no one is asking but I kinda wanna ramble about my Pink Robin AU so i’m going to do it anyways, you clicked on the cut, you knew what you were in for.

So basically the Pink Robin AU is a what if scenario of what if Tim was slightly more openly Chaotic. He isn't an official Robin and isn't a part of the Batfamily but he is certainly petty enough to steal the Robin title and put just enough of a spin on it that he can bullshit his way out of anyone pointing that out.

He's still very much a part of YJ, actually most of this AU focuses on YJ but at first the rest of the Team is hiding him from all the adults(minus red Tornado). That is until all of YJ is kidnapped and put in danger and Nightwing refuses to help Tim(he has his reasons I swear), who is at the time a virtual hero like Oracle going by the name Cardinal. Tim ends up saving his friends on his own and out of a petty feud he creates Pink Robin, a persona that goes against all of the Batfamily's teachings. Being loud and dressed in neons you wouldn't suspect him to be stealthy(all those years following Batman with a big ass camera paid off ig), he has a vibrant presence and goes as far as to become a social figure.

He never intended for it to go so far he actually got attached to the persona, or to helping people in person instead of as the man in the chair, but by god did he get attached. and this Pink Robin was an official member of Young Justice and he wasn't going anywhere!

The drawing I have is how the attack on Titan's Tower ends in the Pink Robin AU, Tim basically snags one of Jason's guns and turns it right back on him. He has no intention to shoot but he can make a good bluff. Eventually Jason just leaves, he has slowly been unarmed through the fight and he only realized it after he was being held at gunpoint. no matter how angry or irrational he is he can acknowledge the fact he can't win this fight... yet

I get so carried away with talking about him but I love him so much ToT

prompt - HEAT: while engaged in a passionate argument with one another, sender, in the heat of the moment, blurts out “i love you!” to the receiver. think of like, that glorious trope where people have a huge argument and then suddenly sb drops the mic with “because i’m in love with you!” and silences the other person. u know the trope! (requested by anon - "maybe with a bf2lovers au ?")

author's notes: hi anon! tbh it took me a while to write this since i already did the heat prompt with a different member and i didn't want it to be too similar lol. the ending is more maybe-lovers than outright lovers, but i hope you still like it! <3

despite the calm of the river next to you and yeonjun, your circumstances are anything but. you tried to keep your voice low at first, but your emotions run so high that you’ve given up; you care little about the other people staring at you as they stroll past.

“for fuck’s sake, yeonjun!” you yell. “you’re my friend, not my dad!”

“and aren’t friends supposed to look out for each other?!” your best friend grips his hair in his hands as if to pull it out, then lets go. “i’m telling you to stop hoping for him to come back! he doesn’t fucking care!”

“shut up! you don’t know him like i do!”

“i know he broke your heart so bad that you locked yourself up for a week, and that’s enough!” yeonjun takes a few steps toward you, but you step back.

what was supposed to be a calm afternoon stroll with your best friend has now turned into an argument once you brought up the topic of dating your ex again. you open your mouth to speak, then press your lips together. a cool wind blows from behind you; in your silence you hear a young couple laughing by the riverside, and you envy them.

you know that yeonjun is right, but you refuse to give him the point.

“ he destroyed you, y/n. and now he’s pleading for you back when he’s been kissing others?! don’t you know any better than that?!”

“i do! so why don’t you trust me on this?! why don’t you believe me when i say he’s changed? you keep seeing him as the bad guy!”

“and why don’t you trust me?!” yeonjun’s own voice gets louder with each word, oblivious to the stares of others. “i’m not making it up when i say i’ve heard him flirting with girls, i’ve seen him make out with them at parties. i’m trying to protect you from more heartbreak!”

he sucks in a breath and his voice shifts from loud to trembling. again he steps towards you, but you don’t move away. you look down at your hands to avoid his gaze and find them shaking.

“he’ll break you all over again,” he says. “and i can’t let that happen to you again... i couldn’t stand it the first time.”

a voice in your head tells you that he’s not lying; your best friend has no reason to. you ignore it and root your feet to the ground. “and that’s none of your fucking business, yeonjun. just let me make this choice for myself! i don’t need you trying to tell me what to feel. why do you care so much, huh? why are you trying to control how i feel?!”

“because i一 y/n, you can’t be serious一”

“i am serious! why the hell do you care so much about this damn guy?!”

“because i’m in love with you!”

yeonjun’s eyes widen as he realizes what he just said and he takes a few steps back. you’re frozen to your spot, but you no longer feel rooted. instead you feel brittle, as if a single touch could send you crumbling. every nerve in your body feels primed to fall apart.

“shit, i never should have said that. god, i am so sor一”

“yeonjun...”

his name is barely a whisper from your mouth. you swallow hard, unsure what to say. you can do nothing more but stare at your best friend: the one you’ve told everything to, the one you trusted more than anything else, the one who held you in his arms when you cried after your ex broke your heart. the realization that he’s loved you all this time starts to sink in.

there’s an ache in his eyes now, one so strong that you look away. you take a deep breath and hold yourself together long enough to collect your thoughts.

“i am so sorry, y/n.” his voice breaks and you know he’s on the verge of tears. “i shouldn’t have said一”

“no, jjun.” his nickname weighs down on your tongue. “i... i just...”

you can see yeonjun’s shadow growing closer to yours. with one hand he reaches out for yours, trembling still; with the other he gently lifts your chin up to look at him. his eyes shine with tears, but the ache in them has lessened a bit.

you step forward and he collapses into you. you catch him as he stumbles forward, your arms finding his waist and his head buried in your neck. you hold him gently as you can, as if carrying a fragile treasure; his body shakes ever so slightly as he starts to cry and his tears wet your skin.

when you speak, your words are quiet and carefully chosen.

“i ran away from you, jjun. that’s why i tried to date him again... because i thought you’d never love me back.”

I blame you for my new hyperfixation on DC. I now know all of the Robin's (Grayson and Tim are my favs) and am obsessing over Superboy (Kon-El). Now I have to read not only the Transformers comics, but also find out where to even start with what I want from DC. (No, but seriously, love your au and can't wait for more.)

Comic + more info about getting into the TF comics and DC vvv

With the comics, I will say that I’m pretty sure the TF ones are generally easier to get into? The 3 main storylines most commonly read are IDW1, IDW2, or Skybound/ the Energon Universe, which all have their own reading guides. IDW1 can be pretty damn long tho so I don’t blame you if you want to skip and only read the MTMTE or Wreckers runs :P

For DC it’s uh… ok so they retcon stuff constantly, reset timelines, have multiverse shenanigans, and so many different runs happening all at once?? You can try and follow big separate eras/timelines like Rebirth, The New 52, etc? But yeah honestly it’d be easier to find specific runs that have your favourite characters/characterizations of those characters, and read those instead ;v; (I think Tim and Kon are pretty centric in the Young Justice comics? Never read it, so could be wrong- Grayson and Kon are very centric in the YJ animated show tho!) Or alternatively, there are non-mainline DC canon comics that are their own little contained stories/universes! They may only be one book or are shorter runs, so they’re much easier to get into.

[Non-main timeline DC Batman-centric comic runs I highly recommend: Batman: White Knight -> Murphyverse, The Boy Wonder (2024), Gotham Adventures -> DC Animated Universe tie-in (DCAU), Batman Adventures v2 -> DCAU tie-in, L’il Gotham]

Tbh I kinda grew up with the animated shows, movies, and games more? (Did a thing where I tried to watch every single Batman animated show lmao.. didn’t succeed) Most are their own separate timelines tho (minus the DCAU and DCAMU) so they’re pretty easy to follow!

[A couple I highly recommend: Batman the Animated Series & The New Batman Adventures (BTAS/TNBA, starting point to the entire DCAU), Young Justice!!!!, Teen Titans, the mainline Arkhamverse games, Justice League & Justice League Unlimited (JL/JLU, DCAU timeline), the Under the Red Hood Movie, Justice League Action (JLA), Batman the Brave and Bold, and uh… a couple of the DC Animated Movies Universe (DCAMU) movies were pretty good imo? A long Side tangent for the WIZ!Spidey x DCU AU

A longish post on what I think happened to the other dimension travelers. This is gonna be semi canon with the other heros! Timeline I sometimes mention. This means some of what I say is canon, some might be subject to change, while others I have decided to write total bs for.

And YK what the best part is? You get to figure out which one is which :D

Since this is gonna be focusing on a lot of other characters that aren't Peter, this is gonna be a bit longer so the characters can get at least one paragraph to them.

This is mostly gonna be off the top of my head since I only know what happens to Loki, T'challa and Bruce. The others I'm gonna figure out as we go, so we are doing this together

Anyways- let's start.

-Ok so lets break this into sections

Main canon: the one every post is talking about unless I say otherwise. Yk, the main au

Other Heros: the au where I add characters that didn't show up in the show, but canonically they do exist in the main MCU timeline so theoretically they could also survive. Yk, the Daredevil au I wrote a bit about where everyone dies, this is if they live

Absolut BS: Is there gonna be bs in the other sections? Yes. Is there gonna be anything serious in this one? Absolutely not. This is for those sweet non canon MCU characters. I try to stick to canon as much as possible, but sometimes I get an idea so good I wanna add it, but refuses cause I gotta lay in the bed I made for myself (it's fine lol). This is for stuff we know aren't canon or are very heavily implied not to be in the MCU. Yk, for funsies, (and cause team red is missing its degenerate, yes Im weak Im sorry! Deadpool you still aint canon to this until your movie comes out! You too Logan!)

With those out of the way, lets start of with the

Main Canon

-So, starting off simple are the people on the ship. T'achalla in my opinion, looking at the movies, is weaker than Peter. And since Peter dies in most of his crashes if there is no interference, the answer is clear to see. After all, the black guy always dies first :^

...MOVING ON-

No, uhh, to not just leave it like that cause, yes, it's sad- I like to think that if he dies then his ancestors and powers let him transcend a bit to the point of minor godhood. Meaning that if there were ever a godly meeting the avatars had to attend to, Peter would be in for a big surprise

-Scott, wtf happened to you bro-

He survives due to the fact he had the cloak of levitation, he has no clue what happened and due to his lower weight, gets blown away by the wind, never to be seen again. So sad

...anyways he ended up in a box-

No clue how he got there. He just knows that one minute he was disoriented as hell in the sky, the next he's stuck in some crate in some magic labyrinth with no hope of rescue. Long story short, he's stuck there for many, many months.

Scott: How Am I Still Alive!?

-Bruce is the Hulk when he gets chucked into the DCU, he's also at an old abandoned military base...why are there people here?

Ya so, apparently the abandoned base he was Hulking out at against a bunch of Zombies, wasn't so abandoned in the DCU. In Fact it's one of, if not the most top secret base there is in the U.S military. So imagine with me, this X foot tall green beast appears out of nowhere and is in some sort of rampage at this super secure military base. You're welcome, I just put Bruce on the Villains list. I can see a few JL members or maybe some YJ kids showing up and dealing with him. And since we know that Hulk is sentient enough to make friends and enemies, Hulk is sent to some top of the line prison while Bruce is unconscious in the back seat. The JL try to interrogate him, but they only get vage half formed sentences about being weak (not a good look) people (Valkyrie, his best bro, is very much missed) and a mission (protect spider...Batman filed that one away for later)

-Bucky...Ha! No

I've proven to myself that I like his character enough to make him important to Peter's Character and the Plot (since when is there plot-) so Ima save him for another post.

-Thor (+Rocket and Groot)

These 3 didn't get split up, Surprisingly. They end up traveling through Africa (yes, the whole thing) trying to find their way back. Thor in his depressive state, keeps fighting and trying to find a way to his brother, since he could tell that whatever happened to them, it happened because of Loki.

Rocket and Groot are just there, since they're aliens who have never been to Earth before, they are just treating it like that. Though they do know something happened and they aren't really in the same place as before, they aren't struggling as much as the Earth natives. Thor is also having an easier time, but he keeps forgetting he isn't well known here. It's actually a bit refreshing.

Think of it like a road trip DnD adventure as they travel through Africa then Europe then Asia, trying to find his brother but having no clue where to go. Saving people and gaining a sort of reputation as “That nice aussie that saves people'' alongside “The raccoon and Groot” (Everyone loves Groot)

Rocket Is a good dad and is just there protecting Groot and scamming people. And Groot discovers the internet. They continue to save people because that's what they did with their family, so they will continue to do that even if they can tell it's just the two of them again.

-Loki, my God…you sneaky shit-

When I tell you, Loki dropped in the middle of a league meeting. Im telling you, he dropped in the MIDDLE OF A LEAGUE MEETING! JL Light, JL Dark, YJ, the Titans, literally everyone was there! Why? 1. The league has a yearly meeting where they try to get every superhero team and hero esc people in the room so they can touch base. 2. Loki's magic…scared the hell out of them. The meeting was really soon and all of a sudden they get a really strong magic signature tearing reality apart? Yeah, they are gonna move the meeting up by a week to see what the heck is going on. Only for this British fuck to drop onto the table just ozzing out the energy they where Looking for. Yeah, you can bet all hell broke loose. 

Loki gets locked in a cell on the tower as they try to figure out who he is, but they have absolutely no experience with his realitys magic so they can't get anything off of him. Some of the more godly inclined (Captain Marvel) can tell that he's a god from another universe, but comes to the conclusion that it's best to just let things play out. 

Loki:...

CM:...

Loki: you’re quite the interesting child

CM: nOPE! You’re on your own. Good luck with that.

The hero's try interrogating him, trying to find out what he wants, and Loki is just like “nuh uh” and is just enjoying his time in his cell like the chaos god he is. Obviously he's playing all of them and getting info off of every single one of them, figuring out slowly where the other people could be and sending Peter to investigate the leads. Could he escape? Absolutely, he has walked to the kitchen more times than he cares to mention. Will he leave? No, he is in the most strategically useful place at the moment so he will stay there screwing with Batman until the League get bored of interrogating him. There are moments where they think he means no harm, and while that is true, it also means they might kick him from the tower, and he can't have that. Besides, scaring the Flash in front of everyone to keep his danger status is just so much fun.

And that everyone that should be in the Main Canon, onto

Canon Divergents: Other Heros.

Ok, so I like to think, personally, that everyone on this list died a horrible gruesome death before the episode started. But I can tell that some people like to keep them alive, and what is this if not just us having fun right? So this is a little “what if '' of the “what if ''. I don't know why they weren't in the episode, maybe they left, maybe they thought they were dead, maybe they were on another mission, who knows, you choose. But like I said, this is for fun so I’ll let you lil’ brains figure it out.

Lets start of with

-Kamala Khan. Ok so with this, Ima play with the timeline again. We never get confirmation if she blipped or not, but I don't think so(correct me if I'm wrong). So looking at her age I’d say she's around 16? In the year 2024 (holy shit thats this year-) so in 2018 when the blip/ the episode happened she would have been 10-11

You see my vision? Little 10 year old Kamala was possibly one of the youngest kids of the group, so her getting chucked into the DCU can only land her in one place. Foster care. You can make the argument that months of zombies made her jaded and able to survive the apocalypse and thus the streets considering I gave her the bangles. But I honestly think she was found right away and protected by everyone because of her age no matter the fact she has the bangle. She’s so small, it doesn't even fit her right. I think she's still a sweet, excitable little girl that is traumatized, but spent most of her time at the base being protected and cheering the others up.

 So, her being this excitable and happy gets placed into many foster homes. But she also has trauma and issues so the family realizing she's not an “easy” kid sends her back, moving her around a lot. I can totally see Peter actually finding her but the only thing keeping him from getting to her is the constant address changes and his lack of funds. 

-Darcy Lewis is truly in her 2 broke girls era as she takes the Identity of “Max” and starts working at a shitty Cafe.

-Moon Knight system

Remember how I said that only Jake was present for the Zombie Apocalypse? Well-

M: 8 MONTHS!?

S: Where are we!

M: 8 months!

S: What happened?

M: 8. Months.

S: Why weren't we here! Wait as second we- who are you 2?!

M: 8. Months…

S: Ahhhhhhhhh

J: *end me now* ( o_o)

Ya so instead of them trying to find the others, the 3 of them are actually trying to learn how to live with each other. The multiple Identities and accents are throwing Peter off

-Barton children

Ok Ima rapid fire this

Lila: somehow ends up with the arrows and being her fathers daughter, shows them up. Artimist likes her a lot

Cooper: He ends up in (you decide) city, and being his mothers son, starts doing some spy shit trying to find the others.

Nathen: lil’ baby somehow showed up at the Kents farm instead of his, and they sort of just …*adopt*. He's good friends with Jon.

Bonus points: Pizza dog is found as a Puppy by the kid and adopted as “emotional support” and “I must protect this poor dog, he doesn't have an eye for pete's sake!”

(These can not all happen, you gotta pick one kid for your hc cause I refuse to let all of the kids live no matter the au. The angst potential is the best part people)

-Last but not least Matt

He was found by a Church, the church sent him to the hospital, the hospital called him insane and sent by a psych ward, the psych ward said nope and sent him to arkham. He's pissed about it but like the reasonable guy he is, understands. Lots of the guys in there call him a “wanna be batman”.

He has no clue who that is but he is deeply offended.

I can totally see Peter finding him within a few days of looking and just going to visit him under the guise that he's his son. 

Peter:...

Matt: …

Peter: *glare*

Matt: soooo, how have you been?

Peter: I Thought You Were Dead!

Peter cant get Matt out cause Matt keeps beating the other rouges up. Peter is so done with his shit and Matt regrets nothing. That 2 face piece of shit had it coming.

Bonus point for the Batfam finding out Peter’s “Father” is in arkham. Just Bruce and Matt having the most awkward silent meeting. Neither talk for like 15 minutes at first. It's glorious.

+Miles morales. Oh you thought I was done? Tf I am! He's canon to the MCU so I’m rolling with it. Timeline wise, I’d say he's about 6-8 years old give or take. He can either A: get the spider powers and survives just like Peter until they find him, and Peter taking him under his wing, or B: im being the only person Peter could save because…idk, maybe he was having a confrontation with Aaron at his apartment and it turns out Miles was there cause he wanted to go trick or treating with him and is wearing a spiderman custom, awww, and kinda awkward for the two (mostly Aaron). Zombies come in, and Aaron sends Miles with Peter because yk, good Uncle. Yeah that works-

Miles' face is planted right in the center of brooklyn and like the good boy he is, waits for someone he knows to find him, (if lost, wait at the spot you are until they find you). He tells people his guardian is Peter Parker, but since Peter is going under a different allies, they can't find him. But Miles is determined and decides that he needs to stay In Queens so that Peter can find him, he knows he will.

And that wraps up that part which leads us to

Total Bull Shit

Yep, this is for those sweet non MCU canon characters. (No other fandom ones though, I haven't fallen that far from grace) (with this au at leasts)

These are just for the sillies and won't be canon unless they somehow become canon to the MCU (*stares intensely at Deadpool and Wolverine* sooooon)

-Wade Wilson

We all have seen the trailers ok, I see him, he's coming, we have all waited for this. And not only is he coming to the MCU but his reasoning works really well with this fic. He's crossing dimensions to fix the timeline and shit and he somehow gets chucked into this storyline as he's doing it. With his awesome fourth wall breaks, I can just see him showing up in Gotham for a bit, causing shit, and breaking Matt out of Arkham because he wants to do the Team Red thing. I can totally see him being super excited about meeting his first spidey lol. And Peter and Matt are just in a constant state of “wtf” as they deal with this guy that is apparently from the same multiverse and Universe(?) as them. Also, apparently it shouldn't even be possible for them to be in this universe, so that's fun

They warm up to each other and end up having a bit of fun I swear. He wont stay for long cause I can see this as being like a quick side plot in both the AU and the movie as he tries to get back to whatever he's doing.

-Logan. He's there for like a Minute, he gets there trying to get wade back to whatever they are doing, and ends up getting stuck too. Peter and Matt help them get back to whatever they were doing and when they offer a way back to their home, they say no for a number of reasons. Logan still ends up giving them a dimension hopping thing just in case.

-Andrew!Spidey from the main timeline NWH. Techincally hes canon, but hes also kinda owned by Sony so ima let this slide. Hes there for like just a minunte ok- he gets pulled into Deadpools And Wolverings Shit and decides “Fuck it, we ball” and helps the out. He sees little WIZ!Peter and thinks, “Holy shit, I just saw you!” and tells Peter about the weird shit he just went through with the other version of him and Peter is just amazed. Like “wow, a world where my friends are alive, a world where no Zombies came and destroyed the lives of the people I love. A world where I got to have more time with aunt May….must be nice”

Also- *has flashbacks to Andrew Garfield and Ryan Renolds kissing and the canonical list of people Deadpool is allowed to cheat with. ( o_o)

Harry: Sure, but be mindful of the creatures they’re working on

Peter: Got it!

Boom there’s your origin story. Peter just wanted to say hi to the nice looking Hydra agent and Harry let him.

Could we have him be hobgoblin alongside Peter when they are in gotham? Sure. Have it be like a nice spider that does no harm and his mean goblin bodyguard. Except it's the spider who can truly kick your ass. Also, just the absolut drama these 2 can have with each other is just *chefs kiss*

-Gwen Stacy

Just- just Gwen dude. Maybe she's from the DCU and they have a meet cute at a coffee shop. Maybe Peter Meets this super cute girl hiding out in a lab in the middle of the apocalypse. Maybe she's dead. Idk, idc, I love Gwen’s and Peter’s dynamic in TASM movies and I can see a traumatized dark humor version with these 2. Just give Peter his Girlfriend pls 

-Johnny Storm is one of Peter's best superhero friends in the comics. Spidey's first appearance is also in a FF comic, so it just feels right. Just integrate that into the story and you're golden. I can see them having inside jokes and stuff no one will ever get cause “you had to be there”.

-Nova, because I'm pulling from my experience with the 2012 show. No, I bring him in because I think it could add not only to Peter's character but also rockets and groots, considering they just heard the Xandar was destroyed, and all of a sudden they find this kid with an old bucket. They’re gonna get some feels, small as they might be.

Also, the ultimate 2012 team may have treated Peter like shite, but with better writing and stuff, these 2 could have been good friends. Sadly that doesn't really translate that well in the show imo.

there's already a lot in yj that's influenced by tp / just laura herself! for the most part, it's not very deep --- so this isn't that kind of post --- but i do want to point some of it out for people who haven't seen peaks, because i think it goes a ways to show how easy it is to just throw her in there.

so.

character tribute 1: laura [palmer; sheryl] lee. christian but not in That Way. the episode about laura lee's flight/sacrifice was originally titled 'fire walk with me' after the 1992 film about laura's, so i know for SURE that those parallels were not accidental.

character tribute 2: van. this one's really kind of just 'she's gay and they have the same surname, and every time a girl in horror has the name palmer it's for the same reason' but they'd get along really well. so she gets a mention, anyway.

lottie's powers, if you believe they're powers, are pretty much the same as laura's. the thing is, though, that laura's are tied to a specific group of Beings that i don't especially care to drag into this (even though they live in the pnw, which funnily Is Where They Are). i imagine she'd be able to be useful in surprising ways, though, she's bad to have dreams / premonitions about her own situations. if she tells you you should look over there for food, etc., you should probably do it.

(she is more likely to just go after it herself, though. she definitely isn't going to broadcast That Shit.)

the mall/mirror universe (ft. misty's dreamscape) is all From Peaks. misty's dreamscape is an actual set from peaks --- it's the black lodge/red room/basically the spirit house (where laura 'lives' after she dies, and one of the places she visits in her dreams beforehand). there's a lot of interesting stuff to get in here in the sci-fi of it all, BUT i don't know how much farther they'll take the concept of tulpas/doppelgangers, so i will not. do that.

about actually throwing her in there:

she actually knows a lot about #survival and i would imagine that's true even if she's been stranded in jersey for some ungodly reason, though she might not have so much hands-on experience. i always say laura was a boy scout and i kind of really mean it.

if there's something that may or may not need doing, and half the group is like "hell, no, i don't have a death wish", laura will be in the other half. every time. i'd say she'd be king of the other half, but that spot is already taken. so thanks for taking that off our hands, tai.

they're kids here so it's not like she's running around with EMT certification or whatever, but she will be at least as knowledgable as misty and has probably had more practice, as she is pretty used to being responsible for children. and i hope. misty is not.

i don't really have thoughts about her surviving or not; i kind of assume that if this takes off and i'm doing a lot of development with other survivors, she will, and if not, it's anybody's guess. but i just really am amused by the Very Real Thought that she at least wouldn't be one of the first to die. which is, like, nice for her. once.

and it's kind of... well. obviously not a vacation. but she would be at all times very aware that she dodged a bullet by not being home / from her abusers assuming she's dead. so i think she'd be able to be present in a way she usually isn't, especially when she's [gestures vaguely] that age.

She was tied to a chair, but she didn't dare to struggle out of it because if she did she knew this would be the end of her.

Her location was quite ironic, Eunhui was tied down to a chair that was on the roof of a building, more specifically the edge of it. What makes matters even funnier is that she was afraid of heights.

"Where the fuck is your boyfriend?!" Some random guy yelled as he shook the chair, she yelped and held onto the chair tightly as if it would help her.

Stray tears were escaping her eyes but they wouldn't stop, "I don't know!" She yelled out between sobs, where the hell was he?

"God damn it YJ... I am so breaking up with you if you don't get your ass over here..." She mumbled quietly as the tears kept coming out.

But what the man did next was completely unexpected.

He held on to the back of the chair and tilted it over, still keeping a firm grip on it.

"No no no please! I don't know where he is!! I swear!" She yelled out and tightened her grip on the chair.

Eunhui was sobbing uncontrollably now, 'This is it...' she thought 'This is how I die...’

Her eyes widened as she tried to look over at the man, his hair was long enough to be called a mullet, with tattoos littered across his face, he had an eyebrow slit and he looked like he smoked cigars for a living.

"I swear to god I'm gonna kill the both of you!" She widened her eyes and yelped at what he did next, he reached for the back pocket of his jeans and took out a gun.

He points the gun to the side of her head roughly, she was terrified.

Not a minute later a loud thud followed by a crash echoes behind them, the man looks back and starts laughing uncontrollably.

"Look who decided to show up." He starts clapping slowly and grinning at the figure in front of him.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing Jiyeong?!" He yelled and quickly took out his gun and pointed it at the guy holding her chair.

"Eunhui-ya! are you okay?!" He yelled over to her, she was still crying. "No!! Took you long enough asshole!!" She yelled back and closed her eyes shut.

Jiyeong was tilting her chair more forwards now as she screamed. "Easy there YJ! If you shoot me your pretty girlfriend falls off of this building!" Jiyeong shouted, he was having so much fun with this.

"Then what the fuck do you want from me?! And why the fuck did you kidnap her?! She's got nothing to do with this!" he was growing more and more frustrated by the minute, and the worst thing is he had no idea what to do.

"Shit..." He cussed under his breath as he looked around, Jiyeong was amused, he was having TOO much fun. "If you care about her that much..." He pretends to think this through as he yanks the chair backward.

The girl landed on her side with a harsh thud, but she refused to say anything. "...We can play a game, If I win you take her and go home." Jiyeong goes silent, waiting for him to ask him. Which he did.

"And if you win?" Yeonjun raised his voice and kept his stare blank, she couldn't do anything but stare at them, 'He's back.' a ghost of a grin was plastered on her face, but was immediately replaced with a scrunched up face and a loud groan of pain.

He looked in her direction, he was so fucking worried. "If I win... Hm..."

"Ooh! I know! I get to shoot you in the head!" they both widened their eyes at their statement, she cannot lose him, and he cannot afford to leave her alone in such a cruel world.

It was up to fate.

Though, he didn't expect it was this particular context wherein someone had finally exclaimed the phrase.

It was supposed to be your first heist, but some asshat decided to hijack your operation and opted to perform theatrics, effectively upstaging you. Cane twirling under the spotlight and all. Your eye was twitching whilst your hands shook beside you.

How dare this pompous asswipe topple over your months-worth of planning as if this were the only spot in Gotham?

... It's your soulmate. Fucking hell this was your soulmate. And the answer was spider.

Well what a coincidence, you also happen to be designing your plans for your upcoming debut as a rogue in Gotham! And Edward wakes up in your body. Oh he was absolutely curious about his soulmate and he took in all that he can see in your living space. There's your interests lying about, notes about them in your upcoming meeting. Oh he couldn't be more elated that you were planning to be a rogue! And he is more than willing to help you with your identity!

After curiously prodding with a new body, he sees your plans littered on your desk as well. In Edward 'The Riddler' Nygma fashion, finished those plans for you and decided to act upon it in chance of meeting you and getting his body back.

Why can't he just drive a car to his address? Well where's the fun in that?

So seeing your body act a different brand of uncharacteristical dramatics, you took to the scene of the crime in his body and it didn't take long for him to spot you in the crowd and finally meet you. With this, you return to your bodies and he helps you with your best first heists! Though it's borderline back seat driving, he was just excited to commit more crimes with you!

A soulmate AU wherein you are marked and can feel your soulmate's injuries... It is not looking good for you.

Let's say you are mindful of your body, avoiding risks of injuring yourself to the point that stubbing your toe was a rare occurrence and you would take care of yourself for the sole purpose of making sure your soulmate doesn't feel a thing. Every accidents you have are immediately treated by you if it's minor enough, but you didn't want them to be inconvenienced with your doing.

Your soulmate, on the other hand...

Well let's see; He doesn't eat in time causing you to feel hunger, he barely sleeps and boy no amount of sleep can recover from the heavy bags under your eyes, small cuts and bruises would litter random locations on your body, mainly around the arms and legs... Then there were the worst ones like the feeling of being choked, punched/kicked in the face... Yeah.

As an upstart villain, you were getting into your very first meeting with other rogue's... And once you saw the Riddler up close with his habits and appearance, you knew.

The first thing you did was to pinch yourself on youe side, below your ribcage just to make sure it was him. It was him, he flinched and cursed his soulmate, oblivious that it was the rogue at his proximity giving him dagger eyes. Continuing to glare at him, you slam your knee on a table, catching others attention, including him where he finally puts two and two together.

"You...!" Oh he had to audacity to act as though you were majorly inconveniencing him with intentional injuries.

Not a good start for soulmates, but there were certainly changes that you were positive to reinforce. Eight hour sleep was one of them.

So I'm just doing easy drawings until my brain agrees with my arms enough to actually draw what I want to draw. I don't think these drawings are things I'll put on the Internet because they are just random drawings, but I'll probably share them to the YJ98 discord server. but I personally think this is a fun AU I am currently making and it will be forced on the world soon, kicking and screaming.

alright so this kinda sits on the edge of hilarious and realistic but i have something different in mind for that one so: there is LITERALLY NO WAY they don’t have a group chat. they are Teens in a modern setting, like especially now that everyone’s back in continuity and reunited and everything. they HAVE a group chat. and god i can only imagine the chaos. bart can type so fast, so if he had an idea he was trying to communicate he would just be crazily spamming the chat. tim sending really weird cryptid-spotted style photos taken around gotham while on patrol. cassie going OFF on rants (also cassie like lowkey canonically likes kpop she makes Diana go to a kpop concert with her in WW:Agent of Peace #13 sfdhgf... cassie on kpop stan twitter and talking about the drama) and the rest just emoji reacting bc they support her but don’t always know what she’s talking about. kon just sending videos of the all farm animals and giving updates on things Ma bakes. i am open to suggestions on what their group chat’s name would be

B (hilarious): 

SO. you may have seen a lot of art i’ve made of the core four/yj in general that were based on memes. i have a whole planned fic i am GOING to write someday that essentially connects & gives context to the situations around creating those memes and pretty much is just a social media au crack thing but treated kinda seriously and is set relatively canon compliant at the start. basic premise being young justice makes an instagram account just for general PR stuff once they have reunited and it goes off the shits. but yes so the headcanon here would be: wanting to explore the inherent chaos of making an instagram account for your teen superhero team and all the possible ways it could go both so right and so wrong

C (heart-crushing): 

ok so i kinda talked about tim’s side of this a little bit already in my last post like this, but in general this is less of a headcanon but more just... i think when you actually think about the stuff these four went through that pulled them apart and how they managed to come back together only to get then pulled apart again by the reboot and now having reunited in yj 2019, (JUST FOR KON TO BE GETTING SEPERATED A G A I N but im ignoring that part for this rn) and how that would impact each of them, theres just a lot of angst there.

mostly gonna focus on the current current here but god Bart and Kon both coming into this new world that they don’t know how many people actually remember them, with Tim and Cassie managing to be there and having some memories and being some of the few people who can be a familiar comfort... except it’s not all there. i talk about it a lot but that one scene in yj 2019 where Tim isn’t sure if his memories of him, kon, and bart’s sleepovers in mount justice are real or just a dream... that hurts! there’s likely a lot of stuff like that in the time before death metal when the only force giving back memories for him is some brain magic from Zatanna. the four of them managing to come back to each other despite all the odds but having pieces of it just not quite the same because of how the world was tampered with... that hurts me so bad and i wish we could have gotten that explored more 

D (canon is a coward and won’t):

im sorry that for pretty much all of my ‘canon wont do it’ hcs are just about actually making the characters lgbt but its the truth. nobody in young justice is cishet. i think i’ve mentioned before that im pretty loose on specific gender and sexuality hcs for a lot of comic characters (because it just... the way characters are written isn’t always consistent bc Comics Be Like That so my hcs can kinda change based on different things/eras of characters) but yeah. feeling particularly strong lesbian cassie vibes today tho i will say that

full on hate, never, but there were two instances that were kind of funny:

- i was partaking in a fic forum contest with the theme "meta" so i wrote a meta fic (fics that mention the existence of that universe fanfic within it) and i tagged it and all and someone left me a lengthy comment about how much they hate meta fics and i was like??? ok???

- i have this cute little piece called glasses where percy "steals" jason's glasses and goes to the canoe lake and annabeth tries to retrieve them and they get all cute and kiss once (1) and someone left me a comment asking how dare i post such explicit content in a fic rated K? ASDFHDJSHSH

10) Do you write smut? If so what kind?

sometimes! it's difficult for me and not something that i find fits most of my stories, but sometimes it does and it flows well. i've written some, but it's in the lowest percentage of my writing

oh boy, have i. a few times. last two times were separate occasions, months apart, but by the same fucking person. wattpad is fucking hell. they changed the names and just posted it to another fandom.

once but it fits better into the previous question: one time i was searching the percabeth tag (that was like years and years and years ago) and there was this little drabble in portuguese (my mother tongue) and i started reading it and it was SO familiar and i was like wait a minute this is mine??? so like i wrote it in portuguese, then translated it into english myself, and someone without asking for permission or crediting me translated it back into portuguese and posted it as if it was theirs. it was a ride

16) What are your writing strengths?

right now i feel like it's nothing tbh, and i'm doing this to be dramatic or fishing for compliment, it's just been such a long period of writer's block that everything in writing seems weak to me right now. i am however much better at scenes with only two characters, the more people you throw in there the more likely i am to screw it up

17) What are your writing weaknesses?

as mentioned, any scenes with lots of people, but also may i say: ENDINGS. ending a fic is literally the hardest thing on the planet i don't understand how people do it smh

18) What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

i like it if it fits the characters/story but i absolutely hate not knowing what they're saying or having to wait for the author's note, so i'm a fan of putting the translation immediately after if you're gonna do that

20) What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?

how can a person even choose this....... i'm proud of so many of mine. if i had to pick one right now i'd say "Just fall into place (you'll fall into me)" bc i wrote the type of fic that i love finding in my other fandoms and it felt like such an accomplishment. but im proud of many of them

Voltron Rewritten Defender (1/8)

Also known as My Almost Raging Bitch List for this Goddamn Disastrous Disappointment of a Show

I binged all 8 seasons in under a week, so believe me when I say almost nothing was forgotten between seasons/episodes and I do tend to note that.

If it’s not obvious by the title, I’m planning an entire show AU. I am extremely open to people’s opinions on what I’m currently thinking and when I finally post this I’ll be open to criticism there too. If you would like to avoid seeing anything in regards to this feel free to blacklist #voltron_rewritten_defender because that’s what I’ll be using for this whole thing.

Fair warning I am a multishipper, but for this show I leaned towards Klance, so if that bothers you that’s okay, I’m not going to be bashing any other ships (mainly just Dreamworks’ forced Allurance). If you think I missed something for any other ship lemme know! If you wanna have a ship discussion that’s cool too. The only other thing I can think of is that Allura’s attitude in S8 really stuck with me to the point that she bothered me throughout the entire rewatch (I was admittedly one of the people who thought she could be very Mary Sue ish when I first watched this) so that’ll show up now and again.

Mal and Karen - questions and comments

First the questions. I am more interested in pre and post Crisis than New 52, but will accept answers from there, too.

First, do we know anything about any relatives of Karen’s?  I know Mal had a kid sister in his first appearance, since I’ve read that story. I don’t know if we ever saw her again.

Next, on to perceptions and preferences for headcanon. Since I’m playing with a headcanon reboot. I mostly know Mal and Karen from the 1970s Teen Titans.  Seen a little with them later, here and there, but not followed directly.  Plus there is other media (did enjoy them in first couple seasons of YJ) and various AUs within the comics, so maybe there is something form one of them that really rings true for you.

I do like them as a happily ever after.  The question is how soon do they marry and/or have children (a lot of that gen has kids pretty young)?  I mean, do they marry at 18?  Also wonder if you think either should “retire” from heroing fairly young or not?  Most don’t, but I have a few of the heroes stopping when they have kids and have even played with a couple ending their gigs earlier, when they leave school and get busy with “real life.”

What is a relationship dynamic that works for you?  What things are great and do they have any rough spots along the way?

Malcolm has had a hard time settling to me. Different powersets (tools) and codenames. Which are your favorite?

Karen and the shrinking - does it make her too much like the Wasp - especially considering their codenames? 

And then there’s their backgrounds. Originally, if I recall correctly, Mal was from “Hell’s Corner,” a terrible neighborhood, and referred to himself as a “ghetto boy” once.  A stereotype, but historical economic disparities between races and poverty give it some grounding. I do not feel like, in the 1970s, it informed his character as much as John Stewart’s background did his.  Maybe it did later.  Would you keep this background, or put him in a ordinary working class or lower-middle class environment or middle-middle class?  I feel like we have so many upper-middle class or higher characters that I don’t want to add more. Even though most of them are white. But that, too, reflects the historical reality of the nation.

Karen - I kind of assumed she was from Mal’s neighborhood, but I don’t recall us being told in the early stories. Maybe we were later.   Do you have any ideas (even if created out of whole cloth) for parents or siblings? Obviously, she’s brilliant, and can get a full ride scholarship.  Many of the really prestigious schools (Rice, MIT, Princeton, etc.) meet full financial need for anyone who gets in.  Depends on parent’s income, of course.  I just don’t know what they offered in the 2003ish timeframe (which is when I have Karen graduating high school).  Be a neat way to get Karen and Mal to move to California.  Unless you already want them living there as teens.  They could do some Titans West stuff then.  Anyway, if she goes to work for STAR Labs, she ought to make a mint.  And get a percentage of patents (seems like Silas Stone did when he was introduced), so become rich quite quickly.

Mal - He owned a club at one time. Do you like that for him, or do you think some other occupation might better suit?  Should he work full time when Karen is in college (if they are married) and help support her (if schools had same grants back then as now, she should get some for living on, but not enough) during that time. Then, when she graduates and makes good money she could either support him while he goes to school or he could start his club.
