CHERRY MAGIC!!!!!! It instantly became a comfort show for me, as it did for many others!

ADACHIADACHIADACHIADACHI. Adachi is 100% my fave. I never fully understood what a comfort character was. I was like, "yeah! I love Tine also!" But. Adachi is the definition of comfort for me. I see so much of myself in him! Everyone sees him and is like "babie. Must protecc." And honestly? Me too. How can one character be so damn CUTE??!?!? One of my favourite moments is him seeing Kurosawa after the almost-kiss. He just like, sees him, and gets so panicked 🥺 the way his arms just flail about makes me smile like an idiot.

But like, on a deeper level, this drama makes me believe I'm worthy of love. The idea that someone like Kurosawa could be THAT infatuated with you, even though you're an awkward virgin lmao. The point of watching these dramas is to get lost in a story, right? See a situation you want so badly but you know will never realistically happen? The entire premise of the show is just really enticing to me. I am Adachi, Adachi is me. Also, the thing he said in ep6 about not having a clear dream in life? Yeah. I felt that. I'm so envious of people who have passions they work so hard for, it gives them a form of purpose. Like Adachi, sometimes I feel like I'm living in a "daze". I feel like I don't really have any specific passions or skills that I want to develop into a career. Sometimes I just wish I had ambition. Adachi makes me feel so seen and like I'm not the only person who feels like this. The kinds of characters that usually make good protagonists are characters with a clear goal/passion. In most shows this obviously really works, but I can never relate to them personally. It's really special for me to see a character who's similar to me in this way.

Kurosawa is such an amazing character too!!!!! His gay little heart 🥺 on another level, he's just so?? Respectful??? 7. YEARS. 7 years of pining and he holds himself back so well!! He's been waiting for this relationship for so long but is so patient, willing to take things slowly for Adachi. He flirts shamelessly (as he should) but never to the point where Adachi was too uncomfortable.

He cares so much about Adachi :(. But also, even before he liked Adachi, he could tell he was uncomfortable with the drinking thing, so he DOWNED the wine lmao. Clearly he's just a lovely person all round who's really socially aware.

As for other characters:

• Minato a lovely little dance machine :))

I ADORED ep8!!! I LIVE for established Adasawa! Adachi coming out to Tsuge :((( I'm so proud of Adachi coming to terms with his feelings and being confident enough to share his relationship with his closest friend. Coming out is not easy and he did so well 🥺

Adachi and Tsuge are so useless bless them 😂 Kurosawa really said "well I guess I have to take these two socially awkward disasters under my wing." Adachi and Tsuge are such a chaotic duo, I love that they can communicate just by touching each other, and omg when Kurosawa said his name Tsuge was "wait maybe I know everything about you already" and if that isn't friendship idk what is

Also Kurosawa making up a poem in his head about Adachi???? Peak romance. Also iconic. I'M A SUCKER FOR HAND HOLDING SCENES SO I DIED. "I like him. I like him. I like him!!" HOW CUTE CAN YOU GET FJKHDSHSKSK

I also got another arm flailing moment when Kurosawa almost got the wrong idea about Adachi and Tsuge!! CAN ADACHI STOP BEING SO CUTE MY HEART CAN'T TAKE IT. How on earth his boyfriend is still alive I have no idea.

1. 2gether

This show means so much to me. It was the first time I watched a bl week by week and it made it so much more special?? I valued scenes so much more than when I binge shows and they would like, look at each other and I'd have a heart attack. They made the first part of my quarantine bearable bc I always had something to look forward to every Friday. I actually really enjoyed quarantine overall as an introvert (not to be insensitive about the literal deaths the pandemic has caused), but I really enjoyed constantly thinking about how long it was until Friday. I'm massively emotionally attached to all of the characters in this show you have no idea. Every single one. The found family of it all,, the way all of the characters have relationships. Still2gether did a phenomenal job of showcasing all of the unexpected but very welcome dynamics and relationships, platonic and romantic alike. I could blabber about this show for so long I'll spare u for now

2. YYY

Is it well written? No. Did I enjoy it anyway?? You know it! I told you how much I love the found family trope. UGH. THIS FAMILY. Also, seeing the feminine side of the LGBT+ community represented positively warmed my heart. There needs to be more bls that do that! Celebrate femininity!! There's nothing wrong with being camp as fuck! It's so much fun!!! This show made me so happy :))

3. Start up

I'm currently obsessed. It's my first Kdrama and holy shit this is what the hype is about. The budget!! The acting! Top notch. On a sad note I really wish bls got that much funding behind them. My heart aches for a complicated story with fully developed characters and plotlines, that just happens to have a gay main couple/character. Wishful thinking for now at least. Anyways, I'm massively emotionally attached to Halmeoni and Jipyeong. Team Jipyeong all the way (even tho Dalmi's obviously gonna end up with Dosan, and I'm happy for them!). All I need is a happy ending for my darling Jipyeong. Please give him one. Also, if anything happens to Halmeoni I will WEEP.

4. Cherry magic is obviously here but I've ranted about that enough already 😂

5. 3 will be free

I would never have expected gmm to make a series like this! But they went and did THAT. Wild. It was such a healthy representation of a poly relationship. The themes of feminism were so well handled and powerful, the chemistry was off the CHARTS, I was hooked from start to finish! Time for a rewatch? I think so.

6. Feel good

Not an Asian drama, but still gay as FUCK. It's written by my wife Mae Martin who also stars in it, and I have to say, it blew me away. Story time!! My friend irl recommended it to me without saying it was Mae, so I was like "okay sure I'll put it on my to watch list I guess" without much motivation to watch it. But as soon as I found out it was Mae I watched it and I've never looked back lol. Once I finished I sent my friend a splurge of messages about my feelings. The series touches on issues like addiction, sexuality and gender. "I'm not a boy. I'm not even a girl. I'm like a failed version of both." That shit HURT.

There's a scene near the end which has really stayed with me. So Mae's character is a comedian and she does a set making jokes about the stuff that happened in the series and oh my GOD. The way I CRIED. It made me realise that people who make jokes about their experiences are using humour as a coping mechanism and when people say "Haha I have daddy issues isn't it funny" we have to remember to be respectful. It's never okay to make jokes about someone else's trauma. Don't make a big deal of it but just don't be a dick.

Anyways I could go on but would 100% recommend this series!

7. HIStory 2 crossing the line

My first bl! This series is the reason I'm so obsessed with bl lmao. The main couple are so soft :( this little series will always hold a special place in my heart!

8. Sotus

My first gmm series, we've come a long way. I miss Kong and Arthit :(

9. Dark blue kiss

Such a brilliant series. I trust P'Aof (director) with my life. This series touches on issues that are so important and deserve to be talked about so much more in bls. This is what happens when you let LGBT people tell LGBT stories! They do it with such care and love!! One of my favourite lines is "I may like men, but I'll never like your brother." One of my biggest let peeves is "I don't like men, I only like x." Like, I get the business behind it, they don't want to make the character gay to make them available for girls to fantasise about. Which is disgusting. But Mork really said "no. ❤" and I LOVE IT.

10. The shipper

I could go on and on about how underrated I think this series is. This series took over from 2gether on Fridays, and while I didn't think about this series constantly like I did with 2gether, this series made my quarantine brighter. Fridays meant I was gonna laugh at least once and forget about life just for a short while. The humour in this series is so fucking dumb lmao, but I'm here for it.

I've seen people talk about the shipper as a bl but I disagree. I think it's better described as a series with bl aspects. The main themes are friendship, family, dealing with loss, respecting boundaries of people you admire, and one of the main messages is about making sure the people close to you know how much they mean to you. Don't get me wrong, the majority of the series is over the top humour, but by the end of it I was personally really attached to the characters and their feelings. Overall I really enjoyed this series but I don't see anyone properly talk about it :(

11. Gaya sa pelikula

A series made by gay people for gay people. Shows like this are so important. This show really healed my soul with how brilliant the representation was :(( "remember we talked about microagressions" the way that means Vlad is constantly educating Karl about LGBT stuff, UGH. SO GOOD. Also this show has the most realistic representation of a crush I've ever seen lmao, soft Vlad is the best Vlad.

12. My engineer

My happy little Saturday show :( I miss the shit writing, shit acting and soft story of this series so much. I'm so fond of this series, I watched it after the horrible ep12 of 2gether and it really made me happy. I'm looking forward to season 2, but Ramking's novel goes DOWNHILL from here on. I know tricreation wouldn't allow the final chapter's scenes, but the entire story is so problematic and unenjoyable :(. The only valid scene is King's coming out scene but that's literally it. And the collar scene can stay lmao.

13. Oxygen

Another soft saturday series! I love this series so much, all of the couples are so bloody healthy and it makes me so happy. The communication is amazing!! THIS is how you show healthy relationships!!!

14. The gifted

S1 was so amazing!! I loved all of it! The only part of s2 we'll talk about is timegracethird. Time best boy!! Grace a feminist queen! When future Grace said they would be friends for a long time that made me so happy :(( also pangwave canon

15. Until we meet again

So I talked about the healthy relationships in oxygen. But uwma really showed the healthiest relationship ever. DeanPharm are just the softest little humans :( I would die for Pharm. He's the closest I got to a comfort character before Adachi. I just have to PROTECT HIM. My motherly instincts really kick in when I see him lmao.

The storyline of this series is just breathtaking. And the ending? I don't think I've ever cried that much. At all. It was so fucking beautiful 🥺

16. My gear and your gown

I really liked this show! Honestly I don't think I'll ever rewatch it but I definitely enjoyed it. The way Pai just seemed to breathe freely for the first time when his parents accepted his sexuality :(((( my baby :( also purefolk were brilliant

These two are the definition of romance. They mean the fucking world to me. The fact that their story is apparently gonna be continued in some form makes me so. So. Happy. I cannot begin to describe it. My bet is on a special episode and ugh I'm so EXCITED.

2. Aini

Thonhonchonlatee in general is enjoyable but I don't like Thon at all. It's such a shame bc I was so excited for Khaotung and Podd to be in a series together :((. BUT. Aini have grabbed my heart. I knew they would bc miketap are brilliant, but wow. They're so gay my little babies :( miketap are just so natural and comfortable to watch. I love their chemistry so muuuuuuch

3. Sunmork

Coffee boyfriends :( I miss them so bloody much

4. Ramking

One of my fave ships. As I mentioned, I'm apprehensive about s2, but s1 ramking is such a beautiful story. It's just about 2 boys falling in love, no complications. Plant boy who's afraid of dogs falls in love with quiet boy who loves dogs but is afraid of children. Iconic. Also chemistry outsold, I THINK ABOUT THE KISS CONSTANTLY. When I mentioned the acting is shit in this series (shit is harsh, I mean awkward), I did not mean Perth and Lay in the slightest. They really nailed their roles and I loved it.

5. Professor Layton x Claire

You 100% won't get this reference but I grew up with the Professor Layton games and holy shit do they hold up. They're so amazingly written with beautiful stories and the most lovable characters in the world. Layton's intellect, loving nature and surprising athleticism are admirable. Adachi is the character I relate to most, but if I was gonna choose a character to comfort me irl, Layton's your man. His voice is so comforting by nature. I'm blabbering at this point but the point is him and Claire are the only het pairing that matters.

These are just the ships that I felt should be separate from their shows. I love all of the ships from the shows I mentioned.

Fanfic Writer Appreciation (and a little self love)

Sooooo, as talked about I wanted to do a little promo. I may not always be my favorite writer, but I try to be one of my cheerleaders. And well, if you’re here you obviously have some interest in what I’m up to.

SO! Here’s a list of my currently-published WIPs and some info about them, in the order that I’ve updated them, most recent to oldest. 

Feel free to ask questions about any of them!

Dog Whistle (Ao3 || FFN) - started off as a prompt from @snackarey​ when I reblogged some Soulmate AUs. This one was a prompt for soulmates (Zack/Kunsel) who felt what each other felt - like pain. Needless to say, this went into a canon divergent AU where Kunsel felt some of what Zack was going through when Hojo got a hold of him after Nibelheim. And saved him, setting off an ever-increasing list of revolutionary consequences. It’s nearly 58K, and though I’m a little stuck I’m looking forward to seeing where it goes.

Dewprism: Journey to the [Relic] (Ao3 || FFN) - this actually has a lot more written than I’ve posted, I just got a little frustrated because well... the fandom is teeny tiny and there’s no real feedback. But! It’s an interesting piece. It’s a semi-novelization where I’m taking the old PS1 Classic from Squaresoft, Threads of Fate/Dewprism and merging the two storylines. Basically... you can’t play the game anymore unless you got it from the PSN for your PSP or... PS2, I think? Or emulate it, of course, you can do that. And I wanted to bring the experience to more people, because it’s got such a great story.

It’s Not a Game (Ao3 || FFN) - this is my Avengers/FF7 crossover, and funny story, it was actually born out of a comment back on my old Genesis RP blog about how Genesis would totally be Tony Stark’s favorite character if he played Crisis Core. It’s turned into a full blown fixit I have a type and I actually have like, 90% of the next chapter done, it just doesn’t feel quite right so I haven’t posted it. And am, of course, stuck. There’s a case of choice paralysis here; the premise is that, in the MCU, FF7 is a series like it is in our world, and Tony is a fan. So he goes to make a simulation to do a self-insert... only he somehow transports himself (and Bruce) to a dimension where it’s real. A “Stark-insert” someone called it; and it does use a lot of “Self-Insert” tropes, actually. There’s just so many ways it could go that I’m stuck on choosing exactly how to progress here.

Party of Five (Ao3 || FFN) - the MMO AU! This was actually originally a prompt @up-sideand-down​ got, that I got permission to take off with. It’s a modern AU AGSZC where they meet online playing this MMO I made up that’s based off of FF7 and modeled after a mashup of like, me studying WoW and my experiences playing SWTOR. I’ve actually got some ideas of where it’s going, I just got too caught up in technicalities and need to reroute it back to the relationships going on.

Welcome to FF7 (series link, Ao3) - this is me hashing out basically what I think went down pre-games. Most of it is headcanon, I cannot stress that enough. It’s based off of the little we know, of course, but there’s just so much we don’t that it’s mostly headcanon. Tons of OCs. It’s a whole series, and they overlap - different sections that follow different departments, mostly. The base story is Welcome to ShinRa (Ao3 || FFN) and that follows the man who will become President Shinra from back when they first discover mako energy. I’ve also got Welcome to the Science Department (Ao3 || FFN) which starts off with college students Gast and Grimoire and how they get drawn into the beginnings of what becomes ShinRa Electric.

And last but not least, honorable mention to Times of Change (Ao3) - this was actually a piece inspired by @deadcatwithaflamethrower‘s Re-Entry series. I desperately need to reread that before I can hope to continue this, but... one day. One day.... I don’t suggest reading it right now, my headcanons have changed and it needs an overhaul. But you’ll see eventually.

Compilation of FF7

The Snowball Effect (Ao3 || FFN) ... sequel? continuation? - as one of the gift exchange presents I’ve just done this past month, it is definitely standalone as is, but if I ever figure out where I want to take it, I’ll continue that one. It was just far too much fun.

The Price of Freedom - the sequel to To Be Human, which... I’m looking forward to, but I really burnt myself out on TBH so it’s going to be longer than anticipated before I approach this one. TBH definitely stands on its own, but there were some loose ends left to tie up, so we’ll see how that goes. And when it goes, when I’m ready to approach that again. TBH needs some editing, too... lots of work there.

The Unnamed Pokemon/FF7 crossover that I’ve talked about for... a couple years now (yikes) but now actually have a plot for. It’s very interesting to me, putting Pokemon on Gaia, and seeing how that changes everything. Because like, they’d have presumably used Mew’s DNA since there’s no Jenova (I can’t see them using Deoxys, which would be the closer parallel) and since there’s no Chaos, Grimoire is still alive. Which means no extra Drama between Lucrecia and Vincent - and really, there shouldn’t be the stress between Vincent and Hojo over her being sick because Mew would theoretically be much more compatible with humans than Jenova was.

What I’m saying is Seph has three parents and at least one set of grandparents and a much more stable Sephiroth (and Genesis and Angeal, thanks to Lucrecia teaming up with Gillian) leads to some very interesting changes. Like deciding they don’t want to fight the Wutai war anymore. >_>

Hold My Flower - a timetravel fic featuring our one and only flowergirl, who has had enough of people messing up her planet and refuses to just... let it die. She is, unquestionably, a force of nature. No fragile flower to be found here, this is the gal you see in the OG who threatened a mob boss and meant it. Heaven help anyone who gets in her way. She’s going to save the world. Possibly in a Turk Suit, don’t look at me.

The Long Game - Reeve goes back in time, and holy crap this one is a monster I am truly intimidated by so it’s gonna take a while for me to get going on that. XD But basically, similar premise to the above - the world isn’t healing and someone has to do something, so Reeve is nominated due to his position in ShinRa and potential to... he’d say “influence” but let’s call a spade a spade - manipulate people and events to a more favorable outcome.

A third BIT fic is one that I started writing with my friend @askshivanulegacy back in... damn, somewhere between 2011-2013, before we switched to writing SWTOR fic together. It’s one where Zack is sent back in time, and the differences in him post-Hojo change things even before he can start deliberately changing anything. But I got permission to take and remake that, so I intend to, one day. It was Good Stuff. And you can never have too much timetravel.

Dragon Ball Z

So, this is an oooooold fandom of mine - the first fanfics I ever wrote (under a different name, no I’m not telling XD it was ten years ago) were for DBZ, and definitely the first ones I ever read, back in the days of dial up. And I read a couple interesting takes on Chichi/Vegeta fic... and I was talking with @vorpalgirl about it and said I’d love to try my hand at something with that one day. I think they have the potential to be a really great pair (don’t get me wrong, I appreciate the canon pairings but those two have a lot of potential) so... yeah someday I might dip my toes back into Z. It’s on the wishlist, as well as reviving and cleaning up an old unfinished work of mine. Someday~

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Seven Years Lost - this one I’ve been debating a long time, and even did a little on! It’s basically how I rationalize what happens when Link pulls the Master Sword out and - well, spoilers but it’s a really old game so - when he comes out as a teenager and is immediately able to handle a nearly-adult body. It involves a dreamscape scenario where he communicates with his past incarnations and learns from them, and from sharing dreams with Zelda due to their bond.

Sailor Moon (manga/Crystal based)

Second Chances - I read a lot of SM fanfic back in the day, and my favorite ones were... more real? Like, there were more consequences to these 14 year old kids out there fighting for their lives and sometimes losing them. I’d like to tell a story through Minako/Venus’ eyes primarily, covering what that’s like, and then I also just really want a happy ending for the senshi/shittenou? So... yay canon divergence, lol. You guys know the deal by now. XD

Star Wars: Legends Era

United We Stand - SWTOR fanfic, baby! Basically, I’m just dying to see the eight classes cross over each other, and I will bend canon to do it. For anyone that’s played the original class story lines, there is some cross over but believe me when I say there were huge opportunities that were let drop by nature of the game. Just with the two Jedi stories alone... but that’s #spoilers for a not-as-old game so I’ll leave that be and only elaborate if asked.

   "Do I have a text?" you asked your older sister for the hundred times, as she has your mobile to transfer some of her selfies from your mobile.

   "Nothing," she simply said without even looking at you.

 'Well, that's sucks. When are you planning to contact me you jerk...' you thought. As you feel frustrated so you just ended whatever you're doing because honestly, your mind is definitely flying to somewhere else.

   "Do I have--?"

   "Nothing. Nada!" she didn't let you finish since she knew what you're gonna say. "For how many times are you planning to ask that same question?"

   You frowned and grab your mobile in her hands. But she just let you be and used her own mobile instead.

  You checked your phone, reality hits harder, you don't have any new message in all of your social accounts and even your iMessage has nothing for you to open.

   "Is it just me or the apps or maybe the signal has a problem? Or probably it's my mobile? Well, I drop this a couple of times... so maybe," you thought since you failed to get any notification -- from him.

   You heard your sister sighed. You're about to restart your mobile when it starts ringing. You smiled, but that vanishes quickly when you saw the caller id -- it was your sister.

   You glare at her.

   "It's ringing, right?" she said teasing you. "Meaning your phone is fine. More fine than the owner. Or do you want me to send a message to you as well?"

   "Ugh!" you said frustrated. "Why is he not calling or even just a simple message saying that he's still alive or what. Why?!"

   "Maybe he's busy, duh. Why do you make simple things so complicated?" she said.

   "He's always busy - duh, but even so, he still manages to give a call or update on what he was up to. But since he left for the U.K. - he hasn't talked to me or even drop by here - and that was almost two months ago," you said with all of your feelings all together so she can feel how problematic you are.

   "Tsk!" she sighed. "You're acting as if you're his wife, you're not even close to being his girlfriend. If I were him, I surely just leave you be." she said without looking at you since she was too busy checking something from her phone.

   Your sister was right. You're not his girlfriend -- officially. What you and Christian have is what teenagers nowadays called 'Mutual Understanding'.

  If you asked Google what is Mutual Understanding -- Well, mutual understanding or MU is simply a certain relationship stage in which two people obviously like each other, but not into a true and/or lasting relationship.

  'Hurts how Google can hit you hundred times with it is not into a TRUE and/or LASTING relationship.' you sigh.

  But for you and Christian, it was a mutual understanding between two mature adults whose mind is good enough to be in one. He made you understand the type of world and work he has, different from you who are currently getting your degree in one of the most prestigious university in South Korea.

  Both of you understand that being in a serious and official relationship might not work since both of you have you're own toxic to manage. Plus, he doesn't what to drag your name in public that will make him worry. He said you're too precious for him to even share to the public.

   But not today. You checked the calendar on your phone. Next week will mark the two years you and Christian share this now 'shitty' relationship. He got you with his sweet talks and smooth moves. That's why it lasted that long.

  You know that your sister is right, you're not really his girlfriend and you're overacting about it. But you can't help it. Again you sigh.

  "Stop it Y/N. Maybe he's still somewhere overseas that's why he can't contact you." she said.

  "I don't think so, he posted some pic on his Instagram just last week and the location is definitely in Seoul. Besides, Dabin just releases his album so he can't leave that easily."

  "Then maybe his phone got broken or something and he can't buy a replacement," she said with a bored tone.

  "Sis, is that a joke? We both know how much that man is making every month. He can buy the whole Samsung or Apple if he wants to."

  "Now you're being exaggerated." she chuckled. "Why don't you just call him first so you can end this drama?"

  "That's the thing," you said as you comb your hair with both of your hands. "I am the one always making the first move - the first call, first chat and even the first one to barge in where he is. And every time, I got either seen-zoned or worst notif-zoned. Is he forgetting that I'm the lady in this and he needs to act like a man?"

  "I didn't know how gentleman Christian was," you raised you're one eyebrow at her. "I mean, he always makes you first -- get it 'Ladies First'?" she looked at you waiting for you to laugh at her lame joke but you just shake your head and looked at the other way.

  "Whatever," she said. "If you don't want to then you just have to deal with it together with your so-called lady pride." after saying that her phone rang.

  Before answering her phone, she showed you who was calling her. You just rolled your eyes when it's shown Kyung Mo aka Cream's name - her boyfriend.

  "Hello Babe?" she said extremely louder than normal obviously trying to make you jealous.

  You ignored her and just opened your phone and checked again your SMS.

  "You're already outside?" your sister immediately stand up from the couch making you looked at her. "Okay wait I'll let Y/N open the door for you while I quickly change for comfier clothes, it's freezing outside right? Okay." she said and without a word, she ran towards her room.

  You and your sister are leaving in Seoul for almost three years now, since you've got your scholar on the University you're in, you're sister quit her job in your home country to be your guardian while you're studying. Good enough, she easily got a new job and adapt to the whole Korean Culture easily than expected, since you remembered how she scolds you every time she caught you watching Korean Dramas before.

  Now, she even finds herself a Korean Jagiya in the both of Cream. And thru him, I met Christian, since you're sister sometimes let the guys crashed for a movie night here at the apartment.

  You heard the doorbell, you stand up and quickly walk towards the door.

  "Hey, there Y/N." Cream greeted you and gave you a peck on the cheek.

 "Hi Hyung." you swang the door open to let him in. And yes, you call him Hyung, ever since you started that M.U thing with Christian. Maybe it bugs him every time you tried to call someone 'Oppa'.

  "Do you want something to drink?" you said when he's about to seat on the couch. "You know how long she'll be there changing." referring to your sister who just can't do anything quick even she says so.

  He chuckles, "A glass of water will do." you placed the glass on the coffee table in front of him. "Thanks."

  You just nod and casually sits beside him. You're still debating whether you should just ask him about Christian, but in the end, you decide to open your twitter account to rant what you feel.

  After posting a couple of tweets that really make your friends reply on it asking what happen, you choose not to answer, since you're still thinking that Christian might see that and somehow think that it was for him.

  Then you decide to open your Tumblr, hoping to see some good vibes and a meme to make you laugh. But the moment you open it, you've been welcomed of a recent post about Christian being live on Instagram.

  'What the fudge!'

  You immediately open your Instagram and saw no sign of Christian being on Live but only an Inta-Story of Lori roaming on the snow.

  Seeing that he shared that post five minutes ago, you just throw your phone on the side - the side where Cream Hyung sits. Making him react.

  "What was that for?" he asked while he picked up your phone and just put your phone on the table as he looked at you.

  "Haaaish, I don't know if I can talk to you about it." true enough that Cream is still one of the closes friends of Christian, and telling him what you feel, he might not get it due to he's on Christian's side.

  "Is it Christian?" he chuckled a little when he saw the answer to this question all over your face. "Why? What did he do this time?" unlike your own sister, he sounded worried and concern.

  You sigh and took your phone on the table.

  "It's not about he did, it's more about what he didn't do." he kept quiet so you continue, "He's not calling or anything for almost two months now."

  It's now Cream's turn to sigh.

  "Did he tell you why? Did you asked him?"

  You nod. You tried to hold your emotions all inside you, not wanting to burst crying in front of Cream Hyung.

  "He said he's busy. I get that, he has work and things he needs to do. I also get that the both of you, even you're on the same team, both of you do different things. And I'm not even comparing how you make time for my sister, heck you're here listening to my sentiments while him - he chooses to go Live on Instagram rather than send me a simple HI!"

  You lost it, you immediately copped your face with your hand to hide your tear to Cream.

  He pats you on your head, you open your eyes to look at him and you saw he was giving you the tissue box that was on the table. You took it and immediately wipe your tears.

  "Seeing you like that Y/N, sometimes I want to forget that I knew Christian so I can beat him up for you. Somehow I have my share why you're in this since you knew him because of me." You shake your head. To be honest, you are more thankful that you met Christian thru him. "Why don't you just tell him that you don't like how he treats you?"

  "I can't," you said sadly. "I don't want to force him to anything, he might get the wrong idea and think that I'm just nagging him. To tell you the truth, we never had a fight. I'm too afraid that he might just leave me once I let that happen."

  It was true. You and Christian never had a fight. Well, a simple sign of jealousy at times, but that's normal since there's nothing official - but you never see that as a threat to him leaving.

  Cream went quite after what you said.

  "I don't want to tell you this but I think you need to at least have an idea..." he said that made you looked at him worried.

  Somehow you're afraid to even continue to listen to what he has to say and just run to your room.

  "W-what is it Hyung?" you tried not to crack your voice but you failed. You just bite your lower lip to focus on what he has to say.

  'Is he about to tell me that Christian has already dating someone else? Did Christian tell him something about leaving me? Shit, this is killing me.'

  "Do you have any idea about what they call 'cool break-up’?" he asked.

  "Cool break-up? Is that something like cool-off?" you frowned.

  "Most of the guys nowadays do that." he nods as if he is thinking of something else. "It's a kind of break up the guys do when they just completely ignore the girl. Like they won't talk to you, do anything and just let the girl call it quits. Do you get what I mean?"

  You just nod. Even tho your mind is not accepting what he just said.

  Can Christian do that to her? Is that what he's trying to do? To just let you be, is he waiting for you to surrender, to let go of what you thought the both of you had.

  'Two years...'

      "Okay Mom, see you tomorrow." your sister said as she bid goodbye to your Mom thru facetime.

  You almost forgot that your Mom and Dad are coming to visit since you're in a break. They'll be coming here to spend the holidays.

  You're happy about it, you missed your parents. But damn - your mind just can’t find to care anything else but Christian. Especially after knowing what Cream hyung tells you.

  'Cool break-up my face!'

  You can't help watching your sister all jolly, so you decided to open your Instagram.

  Your eyes almost fall out after seeing his latest post and the time when he posted it. He's even wearing one of the shirts you give him as a present to his birthday.

  'So he's really doing it aye...?' you thought as you locked your eyes to that post.

  All that Cream hyung said to you the other day is now making some sense. Somehow it's syncing with you all at once.

  "Y/N? Are you okay? What's wrong?" your sister came beside you for she saw you crying all of a sudden.

  "Nothing. I'm fine," you said and immediately run towards your room and cry some more.

  You tried to calm yourself. When you refresh your Instagram, you almost cried again when you saw that Christian is currently on Live.

  You bite your lower lip as you tried to join his Live. He's not going to see that you joined right? 'I mean he has plenty of people watching and might join the same time.'

  Apparently, Christian is looking at the comment section when you joined so he noticed your name.

  "Oh, hi there," he said but not saying your name, he smiled a bit, then he did something on his computer.

  Not a minute later, he played a song.

  "Do you guys know the title of this song?" he asked the 2k plus people streaming on his Life.

  'Catchin Villains...' you thought as you remember the song and how the lyrics go.

   "That's it...it's now or never," you whisper.

  You immediately leave close your Instagram and went to your messages.

    You didn't wait for his reply, you immediately set your mobile to airplane mode.

     You looked at your reflexion from the mirror. You saw the necklace you're wearing. You touch it as your finger trace its pendant.

  It was a gift from Christian when he went to Peru. He has one too, but had a slightly different design, as per him, it's a necklace popular thru local couples.

  With heavy feeling, you removed the said necklace and placed it on your palm. You put the necklace in your pocket jeans.

  You're on your way thru the door when your sister saw you.

  "Where are you going?" she asked worry in her voice.

  "At the park, just to get some fresh air." you lied.

  "Okay, don't be too long and Kyung Mo will be here in an hour or so to pick up us to the airport." she reminded you.

  "Yea, I'll be back then," you said and went out.

  You didn't forget that today was the day your parents be arriving, you and your sister, together with Cream hyung will pick them at the airport.

  They'll be arriving at 12noon. That's why you asked Christian to meet at 10am. So if ever he's late, scratch that, you're still hoping that the both of you can talk things thru.

  Even how many times you tried to convince yourself last night that everything will be okay, that seems too impossible to do so.

  You arrived early since you're place is much closer than his. You and Christian usually go to this park with Lori. To let Lori play while the two of you either watching her or the two of you trying the children’s swing and ride the seesaw. Or just sit on the bench you are sitting now to chill.

  'Happy times...' you sigh.

  You checked your watch. He's already 15 minutes late.

  "Y/N..." you felt chills run thru your whole body as you heard him say your name.

  You slowly looked at his way. He's on his sweatpants and wearing his long big pullover with a hood almost covering his whole head. When he sits beside you, he adjusts his hoodie, enough to see his sharp features.

  'He seems fine... as always - not like me.' you thought as you looked at him.

  "What is this about that you are so eager for us to talk?" you can see on his handsome face that he doesn't like your idea, he seems pissed.

  'Eager?.. damn you're so cold.' you wanted to say that to him but no voice came out.

  "I get it, Christian," you said instead. "I got the message you're trying to send me." you pulled the necklace from your pocket. You looked at it for the last time. "I really don't want to end it like this, but you leave me no choice - to push me that long, for two whole months Christian! All you have to do is freakin’ tell it to my face." and your voice cracked.

  "What are you talking about Y/N?" he said surprised when you tried to give him the necklace.

  "Cool break-up?" you said sarcastically. "What a jerk move, I never thought you'll be that kind of guy who just let the girl wait in vain for you, to look stupid for you. Do you really think of me that low? Is it because what we have is not important to you? Is that it Christian?"

  You didn't realize that you're trying to catch your breath while saying that, for the tears can't seem to stop flowing thru your cheeks.

  He seems speechless. Maybe he didn't expect you to have the guts to confront him about this so-called 'cool break-up' moves.

  "Gosh Christian, if you want to break up with me badly, tell it to me, letting me wait for two months or even two freaking years to just end it like this?! What did I do to you to deserve this?!"

  "Why are you acting like this Y/N? Why do you always make things complicated? Ugh!" he said as he combs his hair with both of his hands when you keep pushing him to take the necklace.

  You stopped and your mouth drops open when he said that, he's totally pissed.

  'So this is it...'

  "You're right, I won't make this complicated anymore. If you don't want to continue whatever we have, then it's fine with me. Goodbye Christian."

  Then you walked away from him. Nothing hurts more when you expect him to chase and stop you, but that didn't happen at all.

  'Good Bye Christian, Lori...' and your vision went blurry as you walked home.

  "Oh, here come Y/N!" you heard your sister.

  But you immediately open the car door and went inside without a word. She tried to asked what happened but you kept it all inside you.

  "I'm fine. Now, lets go or we'll be caught on the traffic." You said since she kept asking and Cream can't start driving while seeing you like that.

   "So, I shouldn't worry how messy your apartment is right?" your Mom said when all of you settled into the car and on the way to the apartment.

  "Of course Mom, you know how Y/N here's a clean freak - once in a blue moon." your sister said teasing you.

  You plan to just keep quiet all thru the trip since all you want was to lock yourself in your room.

  "I can't still believe that a year more and my baby Y/N will be graduating from the University. And soon, she might be others baby as well." your mom said.

  "Enough with that Mi or you might end up crying again." your dad said while smiling on your mom being so dramatic.

  "Oh, you knew about it too Mom? Dad?" you heard your sister asked.

  You decided to put on earphones so you couldn't hear them. You love them, but you're really not it the right mood. All you want to is to be alone.

    The car stopped in front of your building. Your mother grab you by the arm to help her step out of the car. Your sister went inside first.

  "How about we unload our thing later? Let's go inside first?" your mom said.

  "Yea sure, it's too cold for us to stay long here." your dad said.

  You looked at Cream hyung to see if it's really okay to just let it be.

  "Don't worry, let's go first inside. I'm hungry," he said as he walks behind your parents.

  You went in first so you could open the door for your parents, and as you lead them to the hallway towards the living room..  

  You heard something popped then the next thing you saw was the colorful confetti everywhere, standing in the center of supposed to be the living room, but now it's re-arrange and look simply amazing, the color sky blue is dominating the room, what you love most is the man holding a bouquet of mixed white and blue roses.

  Again your vision went to blur, you tried to walk towards him when a song start's playing.

  "We ain't gotta keep this on the low ~

 Don't do it fast we can take it slow ~

 I'll show you things that you ain't seen before ~

 before you go, you oughta know ~"

  You stop when you recognize the song and who was the one singing ~ Yeah, it's none other than Dabin.

  He smiles brightly at you in between his song. Then you notice that in between you and Christian, a portable projector. That start showing some clips on your wall when Dabin reached the chorus of the song.

  "I won't be catchin' feelings ~

 but she got me catchin' feelings ~

 I can't be catchin' feelings ~

 but she got me catchin' feelings"

  Dabin continues to sing as you focus watching the clips shown, you forget all that was around you in that moment as you watch the clip that you knew Christian made.

  It's a clip of you and him, just random, candid photos and videos you both share thru that two years together.

  You didn't notice that Christian is already at your side, he smiled so ever-ly towards you and you smile unsurely for you can't believe at what’s happening.

  A minute later, Dabin finished singing and the music turns to a low instrumental, the song again is oh so familiar to you. It was 'I Finally Found Someone', and with that, you hide your face at Christian's arm for you might fall out crying for more at any moment.

  "So, if ever you got married," you heard Christian's voice from the speaker on the side that made you look again at the projection.

  It was a stolen video of you that Christian neatly setup.

  "Me? Married?" you laugh.

  "Yeah, why? Do you plan to be a Nun?" he laughs and that made all the people around you - including your parents laugh. "Any songs in mind?" he asked.

  You remember that day, he asked you random things in between your conversation regarding his work with Taeyang. You're nearly pissed at him back then, now you know why.

  It's for today. He asked you what songs do you like for a wedding, you answer it all based on what you want on your own. Number one is I Finally Found Someone and then Always and so on. He’s even amazed that you knew those classic songs.

  Then he already knew your favorite color, and the flower: Blue Rose mixed with White Rose.

  "But he needs to get my parents permission first before he can marry me," you said thru the clip. You looked at your parents as they too focus on the short film about you and Christian.

  "What if your parents don't agree?" he asked.

  "Then, it's goodbye ~ SA YO NA RA." then you laugh. You heard them laugh as well.

  A few minutes later and the short film ended with words 'On this day, Tomorrow with You.', you don't quite get that and now all eyes settled on you and Christian.

  He's now standing in front of you while tight grip on the bouquet. He cleared his throat. He gave you the flowers, you accepted it, still thinking that you're in kind of a dream.

  "Thank you," you manage to say. "But how--?"

  He didn't answer you, instead, he smiled then clear his throat, then out of nowhere, Christian sings acapella; you almost forget how beautiful voice he has;

  "On this day

I promise forever

I surrender my heart

Here I stand, take my hand

And I will honor every word that I say

On this day"

  'Oh my God, is this for real? Is he gonna ask me to be his girlfriend - officially? Shoot!' you thought. Listening to how he sings, it was a truly a dream serenade for you.

  When you're confident that he's gonna asked you to be his girlfriend, you're ready to say yes after he sang the song 'On This Day'. When all of a sudden he bend on his nee and said;

  "Y/C/N, would you mind spending the rest of your tomorrows with me?" he said looking up you, while a Vintage Diamond Filigree Dainty Ring together with the necklace you return him earlier that day on his hand.

 You grasp for air as you made your both hands a fan, as if your whole body will run out of air. By that, your sister, being helpful immediately took some peace of carton lying there to use for a paper fan.

  Your hair is all blown at the other side of your face, looking down at Christian, 'This can't be a dream, it's too good to be a dream that I'll be wishing to not wake up at all.'

  You reached for his hand, and without a word, you nod.

  With that, the people around you start cheering for the two you. Christian, while still on his nee took your left hand and placed his promise ring on your ring finger.

  As you watch him, you can see that like you, his eyes watery. A drop of two scapes in them when he finally puts the ring and kisses your hand.

  He stands and without a word pulled you closer to an embrace.

  "I love you Y/N, so much!" he said while he's buried between your shoulder.

  "I love you too Christian, and thank you for this."

  He slowly loosens enough to see your face and place his one arm around you still as the other help you wipe your tears.

  "But how? I thought --" you asked.

  He gave you that smile of his again that made you fall for him the first time. He put away some of your hair behind your ears.

  "This is what I meant earlier when I said you're making things complicated," he said as he gently put the necklace you gave him, back to its proper place. "Every time I'm with you, it's hard to hide anything from you. To keep me away from blowing my own plan, I tried my very best to be away from you, so I busied myself at work and Dabin's album release and all. But what happened earlier was so fucked up but I almost chase you to tell everything, until Cream called me looking for you. He quickly tells me about what he mentioned to you, thinking that it would help add some drama to this surprise." he said as you looked at the guy mention.

  Cream was standing beside your sister who gently punched him, that made you chuckle.

  "I planned to do this sooner, but when I got the chance to talk to your parents thru Facebook,"

  "Facebook? You have facebook? Since when?" you cut him for that fact he has a facebook account that you never knew.

  "Aigoo ~ let me finish." he laugh, "And yes, I made it last month since your parents don't have any SMS other than Facebook. Okay? I contacted them there to ask for their permission first before proceeding to this, and since they told me they'll be going here for the holiday, then I just decided to wait for them. What's one more month right?" then he poked your cheek.

  With that, you can't find any words enough to tell him how happy and grateful you feel for what he did so you just pulled him for a kiss. After that kiss, resting on each other's forehead.

  "Just to remind you that you still owe me an 'I do' for I won't be just settled with a nod," Christian said.

  You drop the flowers you're holding, and copped his face with your hands, you pulled him closer to your face. He put his hands around your waist, as he looked at your eyes, waiting for what you'll do next.

  You planted a kiss all side of his face, and before you settle at his lips.

  "I'll never plan to let go of you ever again if you let me say 'I Do', you know that right?" you asked him.

  "Well, that's the plan," he smirked.

  "Seems I don't have a choice then but to say I do, I'll marry you Christian Yu." and you kissed him again, passionately, deeply.

Happy valentine day aka both the lovey dovey holiday and our bday bpy himself, I saw your gifset and 100/10!! Amazing work, please frame that gifset in a museum pronto!! It sounds like your valentine's day was fun ^_^

But yes I am from Chicago haha, it doesn't seem fancy to me being in Chicago with how expensive downtown can be at times (but then again, when is downtown in ANY big city not expensive?) But it is a lovely place nonetheless, granted don't come now because its cold like the northpole xD but very much recommended the spring time personally! I do hope you have the chance to come to Chicago when things calm down

Ooohh same lol, I can do my nails like a pro but eyeliner ??? I struggle lol. I watched videos on tips but I still can't figure how to not stop my hand from shaking =/ (if any of your followers know a trick do share! Help this noob anon out, i will pay with cookies!) I can do it decent line but its always thick for some odd reason lol. It starts off good in the beginning with a nice thin line but then I go full raccoon mode xD I have big eyes as well so technically not good for my eye shape but it is what it is haha. I do prefer pencil since its easier but I do enjoy the liquid eyeliner look. My current makeup look is eyeliner, mascara and some lip product. I do eyeshadow if I want to be fancy haha but for sure need to look into getting some better products. The ones I do have my eye on are nyx because we love a good mix of free of animal products and cheap, bare minerals is nice as well as well as color pop! For the pricier end fenty and rare beauty are on my list (especially rare omg the lipstick shades are so, so pretty! Especially the color you mentioned ^0^) but ooh we love pinks and orange shades! We love the soft, spring romantic vibes! For me. I like a bit of everything but i do find myself leaning into red, pink, orange shades with a mix of dark tones like a dark wine shade or even black djaksja. My favorite lippie i own is this beautiful orange/brown color? Idk if that is the right way to describe it but it is a pretty color! Jdkandks @ that large lipstick collection, respect haha. I enjoy the old school lip gloss look because i like pretending to feel like an Bratz doll lol.. bb creams are good and I may go with one in the future since it seems a good product to use if you don't want to dive into foundation and such c:

Now skin care wise, I agree! Not all pricey products are better. You can find good products for half the price that works for your skin! It is a trail and error sadly but eventually you will find something that works best for you c: and ooohh i think i have heard of those brands! I'll look at them later to see what they have so thank you for the suggestion!! Lol maybe that's a good thing the brand isn't around where you live xD but true, it is best to not continue with using the products so I will sadly throw them away. I feel bad since I did spend money but if it isn't doing me good skin wise well why ruin my skin more? Garnier is great for sure! I love their micellar water so I may invest in some of their other products! When I will do that, not sure because my parents are a bit strict when it comes to makeup/skin care stuff *sigh*

Oof I do feel like there have been alot of romance plots so we do need a break with some other plot ideas like a good mystery drama for example like let me feel like Sherlock when watching the episodes haha. But ahh it be like that xD sometimes you start off watching a video or two and then you are spending half the night watching funny edits of nct lol and idk how he can be calm like jaehyun is so calm in the most chaotic moments. Like he didn't even flinch when the boxes exploded in nct world!! Teach us your calm ways jaehyun. But I do love his dad ways from the humor he has or his dad sneeze (I will admit some fans do take the "jaehyun dad" narrative a bit too far sometimes or maybe its just me? Thoughts love?)

Hey hey! How was your week/days so far since Valentines? 

Well I had a lot to do and I was mainly busy with work (once again). I am remodelling/redecorating my room as well and I still have lots of plans on it, let’s see how the things end up because I will do it all alone (wish me luck).

Happy you loved that set and I hope you will anticipate my Ten set as well (it’s a secret, not secret anymore but I still haven’t started with it yet I have lots of notes and ideas saved, I just need the courage and time for it).

Oh yeah I knew it hehe as far as I know Chicago looks very modern and seems a bit luxurious, indeed should be a bit expensive in the downtown, but even in my country, downtown is something I usually avoid for hanging out because it’s super super pricy. 

I came across a few fun videos on tiktok and there was a girl doing her eyeliner in one go, like less that 1 second and I was like?? she’s not from this world. I had the chance to try my new bb cream and corrector from nyx and so far I love it, it doesn’t feel heavy or itchy on my skin, also knowing it’s cruelty free, it’s something that stands on my top buy makeup brand list. I used to love lipgloss when I was a child/teen, but not anymore, I wear my hair down and if go out. Forget about it, especially since I live in a windy area. And now with masks I can only wear a no-transfer lipstick or simply lip balm. A brand I think I will try soon will be Cerave, I heard only good things about it and Wayv also promoted it in the past. At that time the brand wasn’t available in my country, now it become quite popular and if the lockdown ends next month, I’ll go to a pharmacy to test the products and (hopefully) buy some. 

As for my drama experience, I started to watch Vincenzo since it’s on Netflix it’s much easier to watch but I didn’t expect the whole comedy twist, I thought that drama was based on a dark-crime-mafia plot, yet I was once again fooled by the trailers. Anyway he looks sooo good for his age, I thought he was in his twenties, just wow! We’re a decade apart, and man! he looks so young, maybe even younger, insane! I should drink more ginseng tea for infinite youth haha Anyway the drama is a stay because I love him so much, he is a very talented actor and hopefully the plot will change as the history will go on.

About Jaehyun and that dad narrative, well yes. Things go out of hand for everyone else not only for him, especially in cases when these words are shoved right into their faces, I would never dare to comment anything like that under their social media or even on personal-interactions, it just seems uncomfortable on many levels. If someone looks hot and sexy, this is what he is and this is what we call them for, magazines and articles describe idols a lot these days with these words and that is ok because it means they have an attractive image that everyone wishes to have or achieve, yes I do get jealous sometimes even if they are men so 😂 but those type of whatever role-playing words, no, niet, nein, não, non. Out of question.

Meanwhile a few comebacks happened and I was excited for it, Shinee’s title song is sooo good and I love the savage lyrics. The rest of the album is also amazing, I have like 3 top favorites. Now I am waiting for Wayv comeback that will happen soon, hope SM won’t disappoint with another low-budget MV, I know we are in a pandemic situation rn but even inside the box, a MV can look stunning. SM take notes from “Make a Wish”, that was simply beautiful and almost everything was shot indoor, stunning effects I want to see again.

And I don’t think I had the chance to ask you, how did you like 127′s Japanese album? I love all the songs and there is non I skip when I play the whole album. I love how different hits from their Korean albums, there is something alluring about it, well the lyrics also suggest that so- I couldn’t miss that huge album that looks like an A3 portfolio so I already ordered one, hopefully by the end of the March I’ll get my hands on it, I can’t wait because the pictures are simply stunning!
