I knew I’d be shook...

...even before we knew the name would be FACE. See, I even said so in my pseudo album “review” back on Feb. 13, 2023:

As with anything I write, usually an element of humor is included. I was being cute and somewhat non-serious still anticipating something amazing from Jimin. 

But now... Guess what? I could write pages upon pages of my impressions of this album, these songs, the MVs, his interviews surrounding it all... I am writing them as we speak. I am overwhelmed. All the things I have been thinking I was seeing since, I don’t know, about a year ago... are very much the things he is saying in these songs. I have pages and pages written on it but it’s never seen the light of day because wtf? who am I? I need to shut up about that. But y’all... I’m shook. 

Briefly, here are my first impressions, today, March 24, 2023:

Track 1: Face-Off... scared the bejesus out of me, alarmed.

Track 2: Interlude: Dive... its been a dreamlike whirlwind, still concerned.

Track 3: Like Crazy... oh, Jimin... please be careful. 

Track 4: Alone... he told us about this. He was in trouble. 

Track 5: Set Me Free Pt. 2... break those chains, baby, you can do it!

Track 6: Like Crazy (English Version)... hold on to yourself, Jimin. 

Track 7!!!!!!: Letter… literally did sob. 

I need to take it one song at a time I guess. Where to start? Letter... omg... y’all... But Face-Off scared the shit out of me. Like Crazy... that is not the answer, you gotta hang on.

Joined the Bridgerton fandom recently and all I have to say is were all SH shippers as fucking crackery as the Nicola and Luke shippers because holy moly. That is on a completely different level lmao yikes. They obviously have chemistry for a reason because they’re good at their jobs??
