After one last trip to gather information, it's finally time to fetch our first relic and move on from Parish-by-the-Expanse!

This quest was super easy; Magic Man has wings, so even though he has the "snail's pace" trait, he could fly in and out super fast to grab the relic before he and Laursen jumped on their dirtbikes and rode home. M.M. did get a little bit bruised from a mechanoid, but I'm sure he'll be fine.

Look, I know that arming children makes them a target for raiders. Plus, being part biliog and part cat-girl, it's highly likely Dire Wolf will have an atrocious melee ability when she grows up, but the joke was right there, and I couldn't help myself.

Don't worry, though. Dire Wolf is not the only child walking around with a weapon. Pro will make the T'au Empire proud with her new masterwork pulse carbine, I'm sure of it!

yadda yadda yadda. and i think on the tv, the screen is paused over a brand new episode of say yes to the dress ( if we recall, before i deleted chapter six...which was a disaster but also a masterpiece rip, ravenstan was being so boyfail cute in it in his armani suit and was rizzing the hell out of kyle with his crunchy boy knowledge of plants...when stan came over for their #hate fashionably late, kyle was stress-watching say yes to the dress...which is his favorite show because he claims to be allergic to romance, but secretly thinks its really beautiful that people can fall and love and get married...AAA )

but anyways, when they start dating say yes to the dress ( shoutout to when ravenstan forgot what it was called bc adhd and called it Are You Down With The Gown ) became their show and kyle very quietly is like "were you going to watch it?" and stan getting nervous, trying to deflect because they always watch it together is like uhuhuhHhHh and kyle, sad laugh shaking his head is like "baby" *yersey swearing* "dude...baby dude...my guy...just guy, fuck, you know you can watch it without me. we're not...Together. *hurts worse than his ribs* you don't have to wait for me." and stan is like "i-i know. i was going to...i-i Wanted to! i just--i couldn't. i couldn't watch all the people in...."

I really love Sky.

At this point i have been playing so long many, many of the people i used to see every day have... just stoped playing.

There was one person who started about the same time i did. We played together for hours a day. Then their life got busy... i still miss her.

there's so much to be said here about how pericles' 'positive' self-talk is ultimately destructive to himself and everyone around him, whereas cassidy's has both been healing for her and held her back from processing her self-loathing in other ways, and so much of that has to do with her experiencing firsthand the results of pericles' shit handling of his poor self-esteem and desperately not wanting to be anything like him. fuck me up man

oh my goooood sorry this is not sp related, but not me open mouth ugly crying again because there was a little girl that i watched in the morning everyday for six months, she was in kindergarten </3

her mom was this really busy intense lady that didn't have a lot of time for her so she used to ask me do her hair sometimes ( badly bc i can't braid ), she made me guess what fruit was in her snack every morning ( it was usually blueberries but i used to guess eyeballs and rocks all the time to make her giggle ), we always read a different book every day so she'd get better at reading/spelling, she asked me how to spell my name and what my favorite color was so she wrote my name in green in her journal every single night and showed me the next day and i had to help her when she had to wash her hands in the bathroom bc she couldn't reach the soap :(

and today was the very last day of k-5 elementary school, we read one last book, she showed me her journal spelling of my name ( it was perfect ) and i asked her to give me a final hug because i might not be back next year and she freaked out and wouldn't let me leave the classroom because she didn't want me to go and i started crying and squeezed her hand and told her that this was goodbye for now, but not forever </3 and that she had to be brave because she's a big first grader now and aaaaaah i'm crying, i'm crying, she was so dear to me and i realized that she's gonna be able to hit the soap all by herself next year and she's going to be able to read books she thought were so hard right now and AAAAAAAA i'm crYinG ;-;;;;;

Greetings your majesty, I hope you are doing well! You once mentioned on this bulletin in the tags that your wife is teaching you how to bake, and I was wondering how that's been going lately? Have you baked anything tasty yet, or are you still in the learning phase? And do your children join in at all?

Thank you for asking! It's been something we've been working on for a while, but I've started to get better! One of the things I struggle with is sifting the flour. That, and an eagerness to get the hang of baking that I mess something up.

Miranda's always telling me I don't have to go so fast, that I can take more time than I think I have, and it's something I've been telling our children as well.

Our children are growing up so fast, and I worry it might be too fast sometimes. I know I grew quick for my age, but I want them to enjoy their youth.

It's something I wish I did.
