Hi, I am a fat woman, I grew up in the late 90s/early 2000s when there was so much pressure to be thin & eating disorders were encouraged & even "cool" and "fun" & because of that i often struggle with my self esteem/self image/weight & may easily develop an eating disorder if I let my brain go that way (unless I already have one in which case 🙃): I am here to give you all permission to be fat and/or curvy.

It doesn't matter about your gender, it doesn't matter about how you feel your gender should be portrayed, it's about your physical and mental well-being and how you feel sitting in your own body.

Everyone's body is different and everyone's body will react differently to different things. And on top of that, it's all genetics. My mums family is very wide, my dads family is very tall, you know what that means for me? I'm a tall, wide woman, I probably couldn't go under a size 12 even if I starved myself to a skeleton because my skeleton itself is wide.

Look at your parents, talk to them if you can, and see what their bodies are like cuz you have like half their genes. That doesn't mean you will be 100% or even 50% the same as them, DNA is a lottery.

Trans women: it doesn't matter if you carry all your weight in your lower half or top or you're as flat as a board - you're valid and I love you. Fashion brands just hate women and don't want us to be happy in our bodies so they don't make clothes that fit larger sizes well. I know it's annoying but if you can take up just tailoring your clothes so you get something that fits your largest section & make the rest a lil smaller I promise you're gonna look incredible no matter what size.

Trans men: the same goes for you. It doesn't matter if you have massive tits and an ass to match or you're flat as a board. People who say men have to be buff are wrong. So many actors that I've been obsessed with have a variety of body types. If you don't know this actor, look up Con Oniel, he is the current dilf of my fandom circle & he's often fat. And hairy. And I want to bite him. Your gender is what you make of it.

Non-binary people: I can only say this as an agender person (bigender - agender & woman) so this counts for agender people as well: your gender presentation is what you want it to be. You could look like Santa or Barbie or Superman or a Disney Princess or a wrestler, you're still nonbinary & 100% valid. Just because people can't understand that there isn't 1 way to be anything, doesn't mean they're right.

Food and weight issues are so hard to get rid of. I'm 29 & I still have this voice in the back of my mind bullying me for my weight & trying to get me to starve myself & work out until I break myself & no matter what I do I literally cannot get it out.

I know it's a struggle and I want you to know that I love you, that it doesn't matter what you look like, your gender identity is 100% real and valid because it's Your Gender Identity.

Things are going to be hard.

Don't let people who are trying to sell you laxative teas or fake diets or things that will harm you take your hard earned money.

Don't follow fad diet people on social media, don't let yourself go down the rabbit hole of harmful diets or like 1,000 calorie days.

The internet (& real life) is full of people who want to make money off you're insecurities and I give you permission to tell them to get fucked.

Eat healthy, yes, but also don't feel bad for treating yourself. Yes it's good to move your body but it doesn't matter if it's just going for a walk, or doing something like swimming or roller derby or rock climbing. Or even just doing some stretches or yoga in your home.

Look after yourselves and your bodies and remember that theres no 1 way to do things: Health, gender, everything else.

You are unique and your body is unique and will need different things to other people. Listen to your body not the bathroom scale.

I have a research background in weight stigma and I currently work in mental health, often with LGBTQ+ clients.

I've met nonbinary people who struggle with disordered eating because they only ever see androgyny depicted as featureless thinness.

I've met trans women who struggle with disordered eating because they've internalized the idea that girls are meant to be thin, dainty, and delicate.

I've men trans men who struggle with disordered eating, because they feel women are allowed to be soft/curvy but men need to be muscular or thin and flat.

So many trans people are convinced that weight loss is the key to appearing as their desired gender, even when they want radically different gender presentations.

The societal idealization of thinness and fatphobia falsely invades and derails people's idea of what their "ideal body" should look like.

Oscar turned off the screen of his phone when he saw that you had returned from the bathroom, since he had taken advantage of those minutes that you were away from the table to respond to that disgusting comment on Twitter. There were times when he hated social networks, and because he was not a fan and did not find the logic in arguing with a stranger on Twitter, he could not avoid the anger that began to feel when he saw that comment from someone who claimed to be his fan. It wasn't the first time, and unfortunately it wouldn't be the last, that your fashion style was the center of conversation, and not in a good way.

“So, are we done here then? Nobody wants to order anything else?” asked his team leader. All the team members shook their heads and after the bill was paid, everyone started to get into the cars that were already waiting outside to take them to the bar they had reserved for the rest of the night. For Oscar, you had always been a beauty that didn't need makeup, and if you had put on any, it would only be to make your already natural beauty shine. A few inches were all that separated your lips from his and Oscar smiled cheekily as he watched you hold your breath, maybe waiting, but waiting for what exactly? Oscar pursed his mouth into a satisfied smile.

Oscar finished fastening your seatbelt and sat back down to his seat as if nothing had happened, but he smiled mischievously when he watched you wipe the palms of your hands on your pants and felt you release the breath you were holding.

“I don’t know what’s wrong with that belt, but sometimes it gets stuck. I should check it out later,” Oscar said, and you nodded you head accepting his explanation. It was a lie. The belt was perfect, he just wanted an excuse to do what he did and yes, he didn’t regret anything. He got the answer he was looking for...that he wasn’t the only one who felt that way.

According to the person who took the photos, the two were seen leaving a food store with a couple of bags (with snacks and what it looked like some junk food). They stopped at the park for a few seconds and then oscar started chasing yn while they both laughed. It should be noted that today is Oscar's celebration party, and he apparently decided to celebrate with yn.

I love how she has so much grief and so many problems but she still makes the choice to be kind but she's also a little batshit. The sweetest most insane girl ever to live.

And RAFAL! Literally the messiest bitch alive. Obsessed. Obsessed I tell you! I am going to kill and destroy him (out of love!) Noona's 2024 Drama Wrap-up

Yeah, so don't expect me to make sense, I just need to gush my entire soul out about the dramas that kicked butt for me this year. Also gifs.

Atomic bomb of the year: The Untamed (2019)

The show that altered the chemistry of my brain completely and threw me into an obsession so serious I pulled several people down with me (you're welcome and I am sorry). A chinese fantasy drama that centers around a young man who wants to do what's right even if it costs him everything (and it does), and his soulmate who loved him through two lifetimes. Censored bl that feels zero censored because of the brilliancy and hard work of the cast and crew. Clearly a labour of love for everyone involved. Impossible to water down into a blurb, watch it and you'll understand.

Love blorbo of my life: Li Lianhua

No one else made me fall as deeply as Li Lianhua of Mysterious Lotus casebook (2023). This cynical, too clever, highly whumpable lying liar got me in a chokehold and has yet to let go. His love language is to push people away, but thankfully some people are hard to get rid of. Deserves to be lovingly wrapped in a blanket and fed chocolate until his sadness passes (or possibly forever).

The one I never thought I would love: DMBJ/Lost Tomb franchise (2016-2024)

Hi, hello, what the hell happened? This show kinda took over my life and I am seriously confused (standard dmbj experience). One of the queerest shows I've ever laid my eyes on featuring one of china's most famous m/m ships; Pingxie. Filled to bursting with adventure, conspiracies, tomb shenanigans, snakes and the best character dynamics I've ever seen on the small screen. Don't expect everything to make sense, just enjoy the ride. It's a hoot.

I cried my face off because of this: Fangs of Fortune (2024)

This made me suffer from dehydration, flailing arms with feet kicking, and severe gif-making-syndrome. Stunning Chinese fantasy with characters that will unapologetically roundhouse kick you in the heart. Repeatedly. Very queer and doesn't even try not to be. Did I say stunning? The cinematography and costumes are so fucking beautiful that this alone brings tears to your eyes. Just watch it, I can't possibly explain what it's about without starting to cry again.

Has a dear and special place in my heart: Oh no! Here comes trouble (2023)

So well written I want to chug vinegar because I didn't write it myself. Some of the best character dynamics known to man, fantastic stories told with a supernatural twist and (you guessed it) queer vibes that will smack you in the face. Has a wonderfully dumb and grumpy ml that will make you love him unconditionally in a very short amount of time. The drama deals with heavy topics, like grief and abuse, and balances it out delicately with ridiculousness and humour.

Favorite BL: History 3: trapped (2019)

The cutest little twink police falls in love with the mob boss he's been trying to catch for four years. Adorable low-spicy Taiwanese bl that utilizes the often seen het-romance drama tropes in a low key hilarious and endearing way. Enemies to lovers? Uhuh. Grumpy/sunshine? Mhm. Catch the love interest in your arms as they trip and fall? Yup. Everything wrapped in soft romantic lighting as you stare into each other's eyes? Yesss. And do i love it? FUCK YEAH. Actually does have a pretty solid plot as well, which made it a real home run for me.

Underrated gem: 19th Floor (2024)

A less queer version of Spirealm (but watch me try and find every queer crumb in it if it kills me). Got me on the edge of my seat most of the time, had characters I loved dearly with great development, adorable bromance with cheek smooches, and het-romance that didn't make me want to scratch my face off. FL kicks serious ass and is allowed to be unapologetically herself throughout the whole show. Also this show has Bai Shu and that is always a win.
