what are two of your favorite movies from the Saw Franchise?
what are three of your favorite traps ?
thank you!!
Fav Saw Movies!
my fav Saw movie will always be Saw (2004)! there’s just a charm to it, the grungy-ness, the fleshed out characters, the colour grading is unmatched, the premise of it is simple yet so interesting. I love a contained story! AND I LOVE ADAM !!! and most importantly you can tell through and through that it is a passion project for Leigh Whannell and James Wan. listening to the commentary and behind the scenes gives me so much joy. I love that Cary Elwes signed onto the project because he had so much faith in them and their work and I love just how much fun they had making it despite being on such a tight schedule and budget and it ended up making such an impact in the horror industry! I could go on but I’m gonna stop there lol
my second favourite would have to be either Saw III or Saw VI. for Saw III, I love that it’s kind of like a character study/character building I guess? I love having more of an insight to Amanda, I think she’s such an interesting and complex character, the whole father-daughter dynamic between her and John as well, I find very compelling. the themes about forgiveness, revenge, family, grief as well wheeeew. It’s Leigh’s last Saw film as a writer and even though they keep the franchise going after III, I think he ties everything up very well as his last entry in the franchise.
Saw VI ouuuuuu I really like how it’s a commentary on the American health system, I think it’s done pretty well. the traps allegorically worked better than I think a lot of the other traps in the franchise do. William Easton was also an interesting focus as the main test subject, and I liked watching him going through the various traps and having the whole inner battle about morality and mortality. I also love the scene when Hoffman gets put in the Reverse Bear Trap!!
Fav Saw Traps!
I think it’s harder for me to pick my favourite traps though. like I love the Reverse Bear Trap because it’s so iconic, the concept is not too complex yet it’s so horrifying and ingenious, but I don’t like the aspect of having to kill a defenceless person in order to “win”(many such cases tho). and it irks me in the tape when John says “it’s in the stomach of your DEAD cell mate…. know that I’m not lying” BUT HE IS LYING ‼️
visually I really liked the Angel Trap, it’s just so gnarly yet beautiful. something about the Venus Fly Trap visually I liked a lot too.
The Ice Block Trap in Saw IV, I feel, needed more screen time/care. I feel like the concept of it could’ve made for a very captivating watch - I think someone mentioned it paralleled Saw (2004) in the way that there was the real Jigsaw in the room (Hoffman) which the other victims were unaware of, there was the victim who was acting like a perpetrator (Art Blank) but was actually doing so as part of his own test. and the pathetic whimpering blonde guy (hehe). could’ve also used more of Donnie Wahlberg’s acting skills, I think he’s great!
*edit: omg I forgot about shotgun carousel, thought I wrote about it when talking about Saw VI but I guess not oops. the allegory of the dogpit having to deny 2/3 of all applicants thus sentencing them to death, and William Easton having to do the same with the dogpit. he’s forced to use his algorithm on his own team, the symbolism about the blood on his hands, wheeew.
anyway thank you for asking!! excuse the rambling but it was nice to get this out
:D

The Bridgerton Series by Julia Quinn
Violet and Edmund Bridgerton were in love when they married and they became parent of 8 children: Anthony, Benedict, Colin, Daphne, Eloise, Francesca, Gregory and Hyacinth. The series tells the story of how each of their children found love and formed their own families.
The Bridgerton family is a wonderful gang to watch grow and interact. They bicker and tease each other but they love each other and they love their mother who has brought them up on her own since her husband died years ago. Each of the books reflect the adult-child’s personality. There are stories that follow a similar pattern because they are set in London during the season, and even so, most of the stories are very different from the previous ones.
Daphne is the first to find love and her story reflects her innocence and her mother’s awkwardness as she finds herself having to talk about sex with a daughter of hers for the first time. Here we see most of the family - if not all - and other characters that will become unforgettable and important (Penelope, Lady Whistledown and Lady Danbury). . .
Anthony’s story reflects his sense of responsibility and his relationship with his father. He is the one that remembers his father the most since he is the eldest and he had a very special bond to Edmund. He felt responsible for the family and he had become a father figure to his youngest siblings. So, he saw marriage as a duty and he fell in love with a woman who was just as competitive as he and who also has a strong sense of responsibility towards her own sister. . .
Benedict’s story comes next. This 3rd book is an adaptation of the Cinderella faerie tale. The story is set in London and the country which takes the reader away from the usual social background we had seen in the first two books. This story was not just about finding love, but about finding Benedict’s talent and passion for painting. . .
The next 3 books are linked because each of the stories happen simultaneously.
Even though book 4 is about Colin, we see Eloise hiding a secret and we wonder what she is writing. This story gives us more interaction between Eloise and her best friend, Penelope (who we have seen since book 1). I had been looking forward to this story because I wanted to see how Colin and Penelope came together. They had known each other for years and he had danced with her in other books because his mother asked him to (just like Violet asked her other sons to dance with her). Colin had hurt Penelope’s heart in the previous book so I wanted to know how things would change. And even though I felt like their story could’ve been developed differently (some things were hinted but they never really got to talk them out which felt anti-climatic at times) I was still happy with the ending.
Book 5 starts where book 4 ended, but now focuses on Eloise. And even though I do like Eloise, her story is the one that I least like. I like Oliver and Amanda (Phillip’s children) but it is Phillip, who I didn’t like. He grew on me by the end of the novel but their marriage didn’t leave me with the happy feeling the others did. Their relationship was never one of true friendship and consuming love. They each had their own lives and routines during the day and they only came together at night. And even when they did spend some time together during the day, it just gave the impression that it wasn’t a common thing. Even when I read the 2nd epilogue in book 9, I felt that way. This is the only story where we don’t see the couple together. Eloise and Phillip might love each other but their relationship is very particular. . . I guess it reflects their personalities. . .
Then book 6 is about Francesca, the one sibling that is hardly ever mentioned in the series and the one who appears less. We didn’t know she had been married even though she met John while Benedict met Sophie. They actually got married months apart. She married to a Scottish earl so she is the one who lives farthest from their mother. And even though she was in London while Colin fell in love with Penelope, she was not mentioned. We meet Francesca as a widow who after years of mourning her husband, decides to look for a husband because she wants to become a mother. This is one of the stories I love of the series. She finds love in her best friend and the person she never thought of. This story shows Francesca finding out about Eloise’s disappearing act and about the marriage of her siblings and she feels left out. She loves her family but she isn’t close to them as she had been as a child and even though she feels left out, the truth is that she also leaves them out of her life too. Though, later she makes a point of seeing her family more often.
Then we have book 7 which is about Hyacinth. She is the youngest sibling and the most outspoken and . . . she is something. She appears in all the novels and her appearance is always fun. Her love story is just as fun and adventurous. I loved watching her and Gareth fall in love. . .
Book 8 is about Gregory. The one son who was looking for love. He is so innocent and naïve as he searches for love. I loved his story too. It was very different and sweet.
Even though all the individual books included the 2nd epilogue I didn’t read them because I had bought the 9th book which is a collection of these epilogues and the story of their mother. I’m glad I waited because these 2nd epilogues had spoilers.
I must say that I really enjoyed reading them. I read these 9 books in less than a month. They had me hooked from book 1. I fell in love with the characters. They made me laugh and cry. I loved watching the siblings interact with each other and with their mother. I loved watching them interact with their spouses and children as well.
If you like regency novels then this is a series you will enjoy too.

Bird in a Storm 6/17
My Writing Fandom: Arrow Characters: Laurel Lance, Oliver Queen, Tommy Merlyn, John Diggle, Malcolm Merlyn, Thea Queen, Roy Harper, Anastasia, Hank, Female OC Pairing: Laurel Lance/Oliver Queen Summary: The confrontation between the Hood and SWAT on the roof of the Winick Building goes differently, altering the course of Laurel’s career, relationships and efforts to save her city forever, the shockwaves of such an altered path making themselves felt throughout her family and friends. *Can be read on my AO3, link is in bio*
Malcolm had never been interested in idle gossip, and even less so now that the Undertaking was nearly within sight. Only a few more months before Unidac was set to complete the earthquake machines. Then it would simply be a matter of setting them up beneath the Glades, to be triggered at his whim.
Even with his mind preoccupied, he’d hardly missed the hostage crisis involving his son’s girlfriend and the Hood last month. It had all been resolved before he had decided whether or not to involve himself, which was just as well. Miss Lance was a good person, driven by all the same ideals and passions Rebecca had had when she’d been alive. It would have been a shame to lose her so senselessly just as Rebecca had been lost.
It took far longer for the other rumors surrounding Laurel Lance to reach his ears. That she had been forced out of CNRI, that she and Tommy had separated. Considering her previous apartment had been Tommy’s last known address until recently, he thought it was high time he checked in on his son again.
Malcolm therefore found himself in the position of visiting the Verdant in the Glades. He never came out to this neighborhood if he could avoid it. Too many bad memories.
Tommy was standing behind the bar, his head buried in a binder with what looked like the finances. Malcolm felt the odd stirring of pride in his gut to see his son at work on something for once, and he hesitated to interrupt. But eventually, Tommy sensed the presence of another person — far too slow, really, he would have easily been dead if Malcolm had had those intentions — and looked up.
“Dad?”
“Hello, Tommy. I was wondering if you had some time tomorrow. I’d like to try catching up again, just the two of us. I know our last dinner didn’t exactly end well.”
Without the buffer of Laurel Lance between them, things could go that way just as easily. Then again, perhaps it was time they had a talk man to man.
Tommy hesitated. “What’s the catch?”
Malcolm held up both hands. “I promise, there’s no ulterior motive. I just heard you were going through a rough time. I thought maybe I could listen.”
His son considered him for a long moment. “Okay. I can get tomorrow evening.”
Malcolm smiled, and it was at least close to reaching his eyes. “Wonderful.”
The next night found the two of them sitting down to dinner. He’d picked somewhere with what would be considered American-style cuisine, if gourmet. Tommy had never had much tolerance for spices. He ordered a bottle of red for the table and thanks to a lack of small talk to begin with, they each had decided on their food fairly quickly as well.
“How’s, uh, the company?” His son asked eventually.
“Doing well as ever. I’m sorry your relationship ended.”
“Okay, cutting to the chase. Should’ve expected that.” Tommy set his wine glass down and shrugged. “We wanted different things, I guess. Or saw things differently. I don’t know.”
“And Laurel has left CNRI?”
“She had to. Said it was better for her clients, but I don’t see how. If a hooded killer is so important to them, I’m not sure why I’d bother.”
Malcolm paused, in thought and to allow the waitress to set their respective meals down.
Tommy was bitter, of course, that he had been deemed less important to the lawyer than her work. It didn’t necessarily speak of any deep-rooted conviction. But there was the seed of an idea in there, a thought that had occurred to Malcolm himself in the years after Rebecca’s death.
“Sometimes,” he began carefully, “people look to outlandish solutions rather than solving their own problems. They believe the Hood is here to save them, but in reality, they’re no better off than they were before he started.”
Tommy was watching him, his head bobbing in an unconscious nod.
“In fact, they might even be worse off. There’s nearly been a gang war over the business with his temporary partner the Huntress.”
“Yeah. Yeah, Laurel mentioned that guy Vanch she had to shoot only got out of prison because of all that,” Tommy was eager to agree.
“I’m not surprised. The truth is, Tommy, one of the reasons I chose to close your mother’s clinic was because I was worried for the safety of the employees.”
This was a half-truth. He was reasonably sure the clinic would have been perfectly safe up until the Undertaking, but he wasn’t about to sacrifice hard-working doctors and nurses to it needlessly.
Tommy’s entire posture changed, less closed off. His expression was far more considering as well. “I hadn’t thought of that. You know, I’m hiring at the club now, and do you think — wow, look at me asking you for advice.”
Malcolm felt something in him warm. Perhaps it was his heart. “I’d be happy to give it.”
Tommy pushed a bite of steak around on his plate. “Well, do you think I should hire additional security?”
“It never hurts. Moira certainly did the right thing hiring that bodyguard for Oliver.”
“Well, she really cares about her kids,” Tommy said, only a little less pointed than usual.
Malcolm set down his knife and fork. This was the real test, and one he had brought on himself. “She does. I’ve always admired that in her, the same as I admired it in Robert. In fact, I’m forever in their debt for everything they did in raising you.”
Tommy was staring at him now, his food forgotten, hanging onto his every word. Malcolm suspected he’d been waiting to hear this for years. Perhaps decades.
“I haven’t been the best father to you, Tommy. Part of that, when you were older, was frustration on my part. I wanted you to take things more seriously. To see the mature young man in front of me now makes me happier than I have been in a long time.”
“Yeah.” Tommy didn’t quite manage a smile. “I guess you cutting me off really was for the best, huh?”
Malcolm glanced down. “You’ve succeeded in spite of my lack of support, Tommy, not because of it. And I couldn’t be prouder.”
He could tell Tommy didn’t know what to say. Neither of them were good at expressing themselves this way; where he covered it with either cordial restraint or coldness, Tommy deflected with humor. But his son didn’t do so now.
“Well, thank you. I’m still trying to be better than I was, in spite of everything.”
“Of course.” Heartbreak was doing Tommy good, if anything. It always did; it forced a person to decide what was truly worth fighting for.
Malcolm requested the check and was soon standing and buttoning his coat. “My office door is always open to you, Tommy.”
“Okay. Hey, and this was… good. I wouldn’t mind doing it again sometime.”
Malcolm smiled. “I feel the same.”
He left the restaurant in good spirits. Tommy had exceeded the expectations he’d settled on for him this past year. In time, he could well be a worthy successor. And after all, that was the goal.
Malcolm was not Ra’s al Ghul. He did not have a steady supply of the waters of Lazarus to keep his life going indefinitely. The world he was attempting to build would one day be inherited. Tommy, Oliver, Thea, Amanda — those children and more were the driving force behind everything he, Moira, Frank, and the other members of Tempest did. This plan twenty years in the making was for their benefit as well as the city’s, not that they knew it yet.
For that reason alone, it was time to bring Tommy back into the fold. He wanted to be close to his son upon the launch of the Undertaking. He wanted Tommy to know the loss of his mother would never be in vain. Her ideas of improvement in the Glades would soon be brought to fruition the only way Malcolm knew how: liquidation.
---
Thea hadn’t thought community service could get any worse. Sure, she’d complained and dragged her feet the whole way there the first couple of days, but she’d gotten used to the routine easily enough. And she’d honestly liked having the time to spend with Laurel, sort of woman-to-woman in a way she’d never really been with her mom.
Of course, then Laurel had gotten fired. That’s when things really took a turn for the worse.
Thea drafted yet another email declining Anastasia’s services on a civil suit against Dagget Industries, the phrases and language used in these sorts of things nearly second nature to her now. The couple who wished to bring the suit was claiming that Dagget’s products had damaged their daughter’s skin and wanted money to cover her medical bills. It seemed open and shut to her, yet Anastasia had forwarded it along to her with the instruction to notify the family that CNRI would not be representing them.
In fact, Thea had three more of these kind of emails to draft before the end of the day. One against Stagg Industries and two against Nickels, a landlord in the Glades.
Seriously, they couldn’t even win a lawsuit against a guy who worked out of the Glades? Enough was enough.
Thea stood and made her way over to her new sponsor’s desk, clearing her throat to get the other woman’s attention since she was busy scrolling through her phone.
“Hey, you finish those emails?” Anastasia asked her in a bored tone.
“Not quite. I was wondering if you wanted me to write any approval emails today or if we’re just going to continue doing nothing like the rest of this week.”
“Laurel really got to you before she was sent packing, huh?”
Thea bristled at her sponsor’s amused tone. “So what if she did?”
The other woman set aside her phone and leaned forward. “Let me offer you some free legal advice, kid. Pick your battles.”
“Okay,” Thea said slowly.
Anastasia sighed. “Here’s an example. Take the case against Dagget Industries. Dagget has the firm I usually work at on retainer, meaning we represent them in court on occasion. Meaning it would be very bad for the firm I usually work for if they are brought to court and lose, even over something as small as a little girl’s acne problems.”
“I’m pretty sure it was scarring,” Thea felt the need to point out.
“Whatever. The point is, my firm could lose Dagget as a client, which would mean a lot of money walking out the door and probably leading to layoffs. Considering I’m on sabbatical already and would be the one responsible in this hypothetical situation, you can see what kind of position that might leave me in.”
Thea was silent.
Anastasia seemed to take that as permission to continue anyway. “Now I still want to have some friends at my firm once I leave this sabbatical behind me, not to mention a job, so I’m going to be very careful which battles I pick. You understand me?”
“Yeah, think so.” Thea backed away and went to her desk. It had taken everything in her to keep the sarcasm from leaking into her tone.
This sucked. Sure, she hadn’t wanted to be an office gopher when she’d first started out here, but at least when Laurel had been her sponsor she had felt like the little things she was being asked to do would eventually add up to something. What was going to happen to all the people they were turning down? Wasn’t this like their last resort?
She still didn’t fully understand why Laurel had chosen to step down, or what good the Hood was for in these cases. Maybe if Thea could show her friend that the slack was not being picked up in her absence, she’d reconsider her decision and come back. Things could go back to normal.
With that in mind, while she waited just inside CNRI’s doors for Ollie and Mr. Diggle, Thea put in a call.
“Hello?”
“Hey, Laurel, it’s me.”
“Thea? How’ve you been?”
She could hear some cars rushing by in the background on Laurel’s end of the line. The other woman was out somewhere then.
“I’m good. Well, mostly. Is this a good time to talk?”
“You caught me on the way to the gym,” her friend told her. “So I can give you about fifteen minutes.”
That probably wasn’t going to be enough to deliver her argument. And she thought she could see the car arriving anyway.
“Then could we meet up sometime, say tomorrow? I get a lunch.”
“Uh, I think — yeah, I’ve got that day off. Did you know where you wanted to meet? There’s a food cart that does good wraps about a block and a half from CNRI.”
“That sounds good.”
“Yeah. I’ve missed Hank’s food,” the older woman admitted. That sounded even better. Maybe Thea could lure her back to the office with the promise of more wraps. She’d be totally fine buying.
The horn beeped outside. Mr. Diggle must have thought she couldn’t see them.
“Okay, great, I’ll see you at 12:30!” Thea hung up and rushed out to the car.
Oliver was waiting in the backseat for her. “You busy today?”
Thea couldn’t hold in a snort. “Hardly. But I’m hoping that’s gonna change soon.”
If he heard her confident tone, he didn’t choose to comment. That was just fine. Thea wanted to keep her plans to herself for now. Once everything was okay again, then Ollie could know.
And he would owe her big time for sure
---
To say Laurel had been surprised when Thea had reached out was an understatement. She’d assumed her younger friend would want nothing to do with her after the Hood’s visit to Mrs. Queen. But she’d missed her a lot and wasn’t about to turn down the opportunity to catch up.
She left her house early the next day. CNRI would be a bit of a walk, and she didn’t exactly have it timed down to the minute.
“Laurel, hey!” She turned at the call to find Anita standing by the back of her and Jerome’s place. She was pinning up a white cord. “You headed to work?”
“No, just meeting a friend.”
“Great. Think you could help me hang this line up for a minute?”
Laurel walked along the path and met her neighbor. “Sure. What’s it for?”
“Laundry. Just tie it around that loop Jerome nailed to the fence post. You see it?”
Laurel nodded and took the other end across the yard, tying it as Anita asked so that the line was taut. “I didn’t know they let you air dry in our neighborhood.”
Anita pulled a face. “It’s not a hundred percent legal, but it saves on the bills. Just make sure your lines are down every first of the month when the landlord inspects.”
“Ah, gotcha.” She headed back over to her neighbor so they weren’t discussing criminal activity so loudly. “Ordinances can be a pain sometimes.”
“Yeah, it’s not just the cost,” Anita said. She began taking things out of a basket she had sitting by her feet and hanging them. “The dryer messes with my embroidery, you know?”
“You do your own embroidery?”
“Mm-hm,” Anita nodded. “Avó taught me. That’s granny,” she added for Laurel’s benefit. Her neighbor held up a shirt that had a flower pattern all along the v-neck collar.
“That’s really nice.”
“I could show you sometime. Sewing and stuff, too. I know it sounds like girl stuff, but you’d be amazed how much it saves.”
“Yeah, I’d like that.” Laurel smiled as she kept studying the flowers. Pam would probably love something like that. Maybe on an apron.
“Well, I won’t keep you longer from your friend. Thanks for the help!”
“It was no problem.” Laurel went back down to the sidewalk and began her walk, at a faster pace to make up some of the time. Fortunately, Thea was only just getting out of the building as she drew up alongside it. Laurel hung back by the side rather than go up to the door. She wasn’t sure she wanted anyone catching sight of her in the sneakers and old jeans she’d thrifted.
Thea spotted her and hurried over in a cute little pea coat and purse. Laurel felt herself smiling already.
“Hey!” Thea stopped short of a hug, something they hadn’t really done since after the Gambit. “Thanks for coming out here.”
“It was no problem.” She shoved her hands in the pockets of her jacket. “So, wraps?”
Laurel led the way over to the food cart, Thea walking in step with her.
“Laurel, hey!” Hank greeted with a surprise smile. “Your usual?”
“Make it two, Hank. And I’m paying,” she added to Thea. Her friend started to protest, but Laurel was already handing the money over. Hank didn’t take cards, and she doubted Thea carried much in small bills anyway.
They took the wraps and started walking.
“How’s your community service going?”
“One hour at a time,” Thea answered. She sounded almost as unenthused as when she’d first started, and Laurel frowned.
“Is something wrong?”
“Yeah. It’s Anastasia. She’s not doing anything.”
Laurel had had some worries about that. The woman had made it very clear she wasn’t at CNRI by much choice and would be counting down the days when she went back to her corporate firm. “You mean she’s not taking cases?”
“All she’s agreed to take on are some civil suits involving individuals and not corporations, and a few name change petitions.”
“Well, those are important,” Laurel pointed out. “For a lot of people, it means all the difference to have the name they truly want recognized.”
“Yeah, okay,” Thea admitted. “But we could be doing way more. Maybe if you were there?”
Laurel sighed. She should have expected something like this. “Thea, I was fired. I can’t exactly walk back through the door whenever I want.”
“Well, could you still say the thing they wanted to hear about the Hood?”
Laurel shook her head. “I was serious about that, Thea. I’m not going to denounce him to make a few corporate executives more comfortable. You know, if it weren’t for the Hood people like Sommers who hired the Triad to attack me would still be out there. That dealer who made Vertigo would be, too.”
Thea’s face scrunched up in thought. “I mean, okay, the Hood stops some bad people. But he also attacked mom and took you hostage. If you want to say he’s doing some good, fine, but he seems to be going about it in the wrong way.”
Laurel sighed. “I don’t agree with every action he’s taken, but it’s hard to know what kind of choices you have to make in the heat of the moment.”
Thea shrugged. “Agree to disagree. So—”
Whatever Thea had been about to say was cut off when a boy in a red hoodie knocked into her friend and grabbed the expensive purse hanging from her arm. Laurel could curse herself; she should have never let Thea come meet her out here looking this rich.
“Hey!”
The boy kept running, and without even thinking Laurel took off after him. Enough was enough.
A package wrapped in foil whizzed past her head and missed the boy — Thea had thrown one of the sandwiches. They were closing in fast on a fence blocking off the end of the street. But the thief jumped off some boards against the wall and started to climb. Laurel grabbed a handhold around the iron pole and leveraged herself up to snag his ankle before he could get over the top.
He struggled, leg swinging wildly. “Let go!”
“Give it back first!”
He kicked out with his other foot unexpectedly and caught her nose. Laurel felt and heard something crack, but there wasn’t immediate pain. Instead the shock caused her to yank sharply on his leg, sending first him and then herself toppling off the fence to the ground.
The bite of concrete was harsh on her hands and the side of her face, and the landing left her winded. Not as much as the would-be thief who was sprawled on his back while the purse sat a few feet away.
Thea’s heeled boots clopping against the pavement announced her arrival, and Laurel watched her bend down to scoop up her stolen property. “I’ll take that.”
“Have it. Jesus,” the boy groaned.
Laurel sat up and started to push herself off the ground, wincing at her skinned hands.
“Laurel, oh my God!” Thea gasped. “You’re bleeding!”
She reached up to touch her nose — or tried to, but winced at the slightest brush of her fingertips. “It probably looks worse than it is.” She looked down at the boy, who had tucked one of his arms in towards his chest. “What about you?”
He glared up at her. “I’m fine.”
“Is it your wrist?”
“It’s nothing.”
“Laurel, we have to get you to a hospital,” Thea insisted.
She pulled a face and then winced when that hurt. “I don’t have health insurance anymore, Thea. I’ll just try and make a splint at home.” Or maybe call John and ask for his help.
But Thea shook her head. “No way. I can cover it. We’ll go to one of those clinics — don’t the Merlyns have one in the Glades?”
“Uh, no. At least, I think it’s closing soon. Glades Memorial would be better.” Laurel said. It’d be just her life for Tommy to find out she’d wound up a patient in his mother’s clinic because of a scuffle in the street. And she wasn’t sure if Mr. Merlyn had gotten his way about those closing papers.
She looked down at the boy again and sighed, reaching down to haul him up by his good arm.
“I don’t need help,” he spat.
“You need that wrist looked at. Come on. I’ll cover you.”
“Thought you didn’t have the money.”
She didn’t even flinch at his biting tone, much less rise to it. “I broke the wrist, I buy the cast. Let’s go.”
Thea eyed the boy uncertainly for a moment, but walked along on her other side.
“What’s your name?”
“Roy,” he answered after a pause.
“Well Roy, I’m Laurel.”
---
Roy didn’t really know what to make of the situation he’d found himself in. But that was always the risk when committing a crime, he guessed.
At least there weren’t any cops. Yet.
The two women brought him along with them to Glades Memorial and sure enough he got his wrist looked at.
“It’s a sprain, fortunately,” the doctor told him. “You’re going to want to rest it.”
Sure, like she thought he had the money to sit around doing nothing for a while. At least she gave him some pain meds to go with her advice. Those would be more useful; he could get a pretty good price for them.
Roy sat out in a hallway. The younger girl, Thea Queen as it turned out, stood a few feet away, arms crossed and glancing at him occasionally. He kept his expression sullen. Who was she to judge him when she’d never had to work an honest day of her life either?
A door down the hall opened, admitting the third member of their group. Laurel, he thought she was called.
“Good news, my nose isn’t broken.”
When he looked up, the woman was wearing a sort of splint over it.
“Lucky you.”
“How about your wrist?”
“Sprained.”
“Well, that’s manageable at least. So, Roy, let’s talk.” She pulled the other chair over closer and sat in it. “Why’d you try to steal my friend’s purse?”
He rolled his eyes. “Why do you think? I need money.”
“Your paycheck not enough?”
Roy looked away.
“You don’t have a paycheck,” Laurel guessed. “What’s stopping you from getting a job, Roy? You’re young, fairly strong by the looks of it.”
“What, so I should be out there breaking my back on hard labor?”
“Better than breaking it stealing,” Thea Queen snarked. He scowled at her.
“Look, Roy, I don’t think you’re someone who steals for the thrill of it, or to get rich,” said Laurel. “I think you’re just trying to make ends meet.” Under her tougher getup, she sounded just as well-meaning and patronizing as the social workers that had visited him every so often growing up.
“Yeah, well I’ve found a way to make them meet. Lot easier than trying to get hired with a rap sheet, unless you know somewhere.”
Laurel turned to her friend, a meaningful look on her face. Thea Queen stared back. “Seriously?” She gave a huff. “Fine. My brother’s club is hiring. I could put in a word for you.”
“Because I want to go to work for the rich and powerful in this city? Clean up their vomit and piss for them? No thanks.” Roy stood and made to walk out.
Laurel’s chair scraped back and hit the wall with a sharp bang, and the next thing he knew she was hauling him back around by his good arm.
“You think you’re proving it to someone just because you have an attitude and know how to take whatever you want? You think you’re better than the rich who steal from people in this neighborhood just because you’re from here?” Her look was piercing, and he found himself taking a step back. “No one is going to fix the system for you, Roy. You can either be part of the solution or part of the problem, and if you’re going to take the easy route then I think you can drop the sanctimonious crap.”
“She’s probably got twenty other purses just like that at home!”
“Then keep it.”
They both froze as the bag landed at their feet.
“You’re right. I don’t need it,” Thea Queen stated. “So if you want my money instead of someone else’s in the Glades, I’d rather you take it.”
Something churned unpleasantly in his gut. “I don’t need your charity.”
“No, you’d rather just steal from me instead.” She scoffed and started walking away. Laurel backed up a couple of steps as well, face impassive. Roy looked down at the purse and his beat up sneakers.
He scooped it up and jogged down the hall, pushing it into the younger girl’s arms. “Here,” he said gruffly.
She looked at him with wide eyes, and he swallowed once. Then Roy turned and shoved his good hand in his pocket, shouldering his way out of Glades Memorial.
He’d be damned if he owed them anything. Already bad enough he was feeling guilty. Why should he care about making things better in the Glades? Nobody else did.
Did they?

Eclipso #3
This looks like my "friend" Bobby Henline.
I put the word friend in quotation marks in the above caption because now that he's a Trump supporter and he believes in God, he's not really the same guy I grew up with. I still wouldn't mind calling him friend (even with the Trump supporting) except, being a God-loving Trump supporter, he now treats me and everything I say as if I'm just another libtard. He always referred to me as the smartest guy he knew but suddenly I'm deluded by the mainstream media and too naive to understand that I should be a racist gun owner. Once when he was twelve or so, he saw a woman on the bus reading The Bible. So he sat behind her muttering "Satan Satan Satan." Even at the time, I thought that was pretty immature. Just a few years ago on Facebook, he responded to something I said with "Guns guns guns!" I reminded him about the Satan thing and how he apparently hasn't matured a bit in his debate tactics. He misunderstood my point, thinking that I was wondering why he didn't go around chanting "Satan Satan Satan" anymore, and told me, "I've grown since then." By "grown," I guess he means "suffered severe PTSD and survivor's guilt from the roadside bomb that took the lives of four other guys and now I have to believe in utter nonsense or their deaths would be meaningless." He seems to believe that more war makes the deaths of his comrades meaningful when actually their lives would have more meaning if he accepted that they died for no reason. Use their deaths to prevent the deaths of more young men by pointing out they didn't need to die and then — and only then — you give their lives meaning! Sure, it's seemingly paradoxical but sending more men to die because you want the deaths of some people you knew to be meaningful is fucking selfish bullshit.
I don't know that the creators of this comic book know how the moon works.
The Creeper begins this issue complaining about jungle drums but not giving a shit that the moon has been full for four months straight. Now I sound like an asshole on Twitter screaming that people are too busy caring about one terrible moment of our finite existence that isn't the terrible moment of our finite existence that the asshole thinks they should be caring about. But I'm not! I don't care what The Creeper is upset about. I just want The Creeper to simply fucking notice how long the moon has been full. Then he can go back to speaking gibberish (both as The Creeper and as Jack Ryder, news reporter). My local news did a segment on the large boulder/small boulder Tweet last night and if I had owned a gun, I swear to God I'd need a new television set this morning. No I wouldn't because after shooting my television, I would have turned the gun on myself. When I "joke" about suicide, they're not jokes. I really don't fucking care anymore about dying. Not that I'd ever take myself out. But if something were to kill me at this point and I had one moment to type one more Tweet, it would be that shrugging whatever emoticon that uses the Katakana for tsu. Mostly I'd choose to make that Tweet before I died because it would take a long time for me to figure out how to type it. Death would be standing over my shoulder saying, "Come on already. Just Google the fucking thing and copy and paste it. I've got a bloody schedule here! Literally!" Then we'd high five and I'd ask him one more time if maybe I could suck his dick for a few more years.
Ha ha ha! "It's funny because it's two guys going on a date," types the guy who just made a dick sucking joke.
To be fair, the worst part about my joke wasn't that it relied on homosexual sex. The worst part was that I assumed Death was male. But I had to! If I picture Death as female then I picture DC's version of Death. And if I picture me giving oral to DC's version of Death then I have to take a break to masturbate. I'll be right back. I get that my "comedy" seems crude and not very subtle. But that's because audiences only have the ability to read the surface layer of anything. They read the words and refuse to go any further. So my sucking Death's dick joke becomes simply a joke that relies on laughing at a man willing to perform a homosexual act. But what the joke is really about is how I just said I don't care about dying and yet I'm desperately willing to suck some bony supernatural hog to extend my life for a few more measly painful years. I suppose I could have come up with a less vulgar and demeaning punchline but we all understand that "sucking dick" is the last negotiating tactic to strike a deal that's almost certainly not going to happen. It's never the go-to! Which seems odd because I'd accept that offer immediately over a lot of other offers when negotiating! If I were selling a house and somebody offered me 400,000 dick sucks instead of 400,000 dollars, I don't know. I might take that offer! By the way, I am not selling a house, you horny, shelter-lacking perverts. Bruce Gordon and his friend go to New York to try to recruit the Justice League in their fight against Eclipso.
Most wars are started because some guy doesn't want to be thought of as a pathetic little man. Guy is a hero!
Guy Gardner is being the responsible one in the above scan, if a little high-strung. Obviously the Justice League isn't going to invade a sovereign country just because somebody who isn't Madame Xanadu told them to. Especially the guy that, in the past, was inextricably linked to Eclipso and his evil acts! I bet this scene is just the tail end of the conversation. Guy was almost certainly peaceful and compassionate while listening to Bruce's complaints. But Bruce probably kept pushing and pushing! "You have to believe my gut instinct and my hunch! I just know Eclipso has taken over Parador! You must invade!" And Guy, the avatar of patience, finally snapped. Poor Guy! He's always being treated so horrifically. Bruce and his friend (I have no fucking idea who she is. I suppose I should know but I didn't reread The Darkness Within annual event before rereading this) decide to approach Sarge Steel for help. He runs Checkmate or the Suicide Squad or the DEO or something.
Why is Bruce so terrified about a disruption in cocaine distribution? Isn't Eclipso less of a menace as a drug lord than a vengeance god?
Sarge Steel directs Bruce and Mona (her name is Mona! I still don't know who she is) to Amanda Waller. She operates the arm of the government that infiltrates and disrupts other countries for the benefit of the United States. No, not the CIA. The Suicide Squad! Meanwhile, Eclipso is busying cutting the fingers off of Mona's father's hands.
Either Simon Bennet has eleven fingers or one of those digits is his penis.
Amanda Waller offers to help Bruce, Mona, and the Creeper sneak into Parador. But that's her only involvement. To help them sneak in through a series of caves, she recruits Cave Carson to be their guide. Did Cave Carson seem expendable in 1993? I hope so because his death is the only thing making me excited for the next issue! Eclipso #3 Rating: C+. At least something other than monologues and soliloquies happened this issue, like Simon getting his fingers and dick chopped off. Plus this issue had so many guest stars: Sarge Steel, Amanda Waller, Guy Gardner, and Cave Carson! That's a lot of cameos for a buck twenty-five! Thank God for DC screwing creators out of "created by" royalties! Can you imagine how much this comic would cost if DC felt obliged to pay France Herron and Bruno Premiani for using Cave Carson, let alone Bob Haney and Lee Elias for Eclipso, Gil Kane and John Broome for Guy Gardner, John Ostrander, Len Wein, and John Byrne for Amanda Waller, and Steve Ditko, Pat Masuli, and Joe Gill for Sarge Steel?!

My Arrow 5x18 Not-So-Liveblog
Hey everyone! I am officially back from my trip to Europe! It was amazing and wonderful and I got to see some sights I only dreamed about seeing. I’ll definitely be posting some pictures later on.
With that said, I was still sad that I missed 5x18 and wasn’t able to liveblog with you all. So this post is basically what I would have said if I had been able to liveblog it, and then I’ll add my thoughts on it at the end.
Here we go.
-That damn hoodie. I feel like that should become a thing. The Red Pen. The Fern. The Hoodie.
- I really wanted Felicity to be the one to patch him up.
- He’s AVOIDING her eyes so as not to show her how broken he feels.
- Oliver whispering “can you just go, please,” BREAKS me. So much hurt and defeat and sadness.
- I do NOT like it when Oliver pushes people away. I get it, but I don’t like it.
- “I’ve never seen him so broken, and I’ve seen him at his lowest.”
Felicity knows him better than anyone.
- I love Digg’s unwavering faith in his brother.
- Oliver reprogrammed all the security protocols? First of all, locking the team out of the Arrow Cave is RUDE, and second, since when did that stop Felicity? It’s HER system!
- Felicity taking charge of bringing Chase down. I am ALL for it. However, if you want to offer your apartment as a new secret lair, you might want to do something about the WALL OF WINDOWS that can be seen from other buildings...
- Quentin is back!
- “Spiritual Retreat” my ASS.
- Oliver’s voice is so gravelly in this episode. Just an observation.
- “He’s already won.”
NO HE HAS NOT!
- The fact that Adrian still thinks he can “grieve” for his wife... Fucking nuts.
- “You think I’m gonna stab the DA in the middle of City Hall?”
Has Chase not seen Oliver be Mayor for months now? I almost wanted Oliver to say something like, “I have a budget meeting in 20 minutes. I wouldn’t have enough time to get the blood off the floor.”
- “You’re an animal who enjoys murder, there’s no telling what you’ll do.”
I have things to say about this.
- I REALLY REALLY REALLY want Adrian to die. Slowly.
- So Oliver is CHOOSING to go back to Lian Yu. Somehow I thought he would end up being dropped back there like Waller did.
- Felicity hacking without knowing what she is hacking. Not good.
- “The world doesn’t need to know how often I’m at the wine shop.”
Now I actually want to know how often she’s at the wine shop.
- FELICITY HAS A LEAD TO TAKE CHASE DOWN. YES!!!
- Oliver and Dragon Lady. FINALLY. DONE. FINITO. NO LONGER A THING. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO HAPPY
- After everything that has happened, it should be pretty obvious that the Bratva should remain in the flashbacks. And I don’t like having to watch the relationship between Oliver and Anatoli disintegrate.
- Seeing the Green Arrow suit packed up in a box breaks my heart.
- “I never thought you would give up the Hood.” -- Anatoli
Neither did I.
- Oliver and Felicity are trading favors with shady people. So many “deals”.
So many prices to pay.
- “Please tell me you did not throw away the vodka.”
- I WANT LYLA SCENES. Not just mentions.
- I always get a bad feeling whenever the team goes out into the field without Felicity as Overwatch. And it seems to be happening a lot more than it should this season.
- Is it just me, or do those Not-Team-Arrow costumes look just a little bit like League of Assassins outfits?
- “John Diggle. My favorite American.”
He’s everyone’s favorite.
- Not the best way for the rest of the team to find out that Oliver went behind all of their backs and enlisted the Bratva for help.
- Angry John storming into Oliver’s office.
- Ok, Oliver, sweetie, I know that you like to think you lead the team and that they just do what you ask without question, but THIS IS NOT JUST ABOUT YOU. When you brought them on to your crusade, you made it their crusade as well. Did you really think they would just bow out without a fight? YOU taught them better than that.
- John Diggle spilling ALL the Truth Tea.
- “Better my soul than yours.”
I THOUGHT WE HAD BEEN OVER THIS IN RUSSIA. You are a TEAM. I know you are willing to sacrifice yourself, and your soul, to protect them, but is so impossible that they would be willing to do the same for you? This is not just your burden to bear, Oliver! Despite your proclivity for taking on the weight of the world.
- Can Rene PLEASE “pop a cap” in Adrian’s ass?
- Digg is trying to bring back OTA! But that’s kind of hard when 2 out of the three members are not cooperating.
- “I didn’t think I could be more disappointed. I guess I was wrong.”
OUCH
- Seriously though? You have not one but TWO hackers on your team and you don’t think they’ll hack the locks?
- PLEASE keep trying to knock some sense into Oliver, John!
- “I’m your brother.” BEST BROMANCE EVER.
- Oliver and John’s whole scene
- The Bratva vs. Team Arrow
Are we supposed to be keeping an eye on that female officer escorting Chase?
- As much as I cringed watching Oliver punch Digg, I had to giggle at the fact that he shook out his hand afterward.
- “I’m not going anywhere! Do you get that?”
John Diggle does not leave his brother behind.
- “You don’t have to do this alone, Oliver.”
SAY IT A LITTLE LOUDER PLEASE TO GET IT THROUGH OLIVER’S THICK SKULL.
- I kind of like that Curtis hacked Felicity, but I felt like the cursing was a bit much.
- This is why we do not use the Bratva, Oliver!
- Oliver is FINALLY asking for the help that we all knew he desperately needed.
- Don’t you think you might need a mask there, Felicity?
- I’m liking the we are seeing Felicity and Oliver on their own separate missions.
- “That is stupid! Now you have to run!”
Even when he’s Oliver’s enemy Anatoli still manages to be funny.
- “That is what we needed. Something that he couldn't plan for. You.”
Oliver will always be proud of Felicity’s awesomeness.
- Oliver is finally seeing that with his team, he can be better.
- Oliver vs. Anatoli
How far Oliver has come, how far Anatoli has fallen.
- And Adrian said that Oliver was the animal.
My Review
First off, AWESOME episode! the last few of this season are gonna be so good!
- Stuck In The Past
This has been a problem for Oliver for many a season now. Time and time again, we have seen Oliver try to adapt his old habits to the new challenges he faces, with less than stellar results (see: Olicity breakup). And just as we see Oliver beginning to truly move on, Prometheus swoops in to break Oliver down all over again.
The first step to solving any problem is admitting there is one. Oliver admitted, not only to himself but to Digg, that the is something broken inside him. And he was right. His time on Lian Yu killed Ollie, leaving a space for someone else, something else to take his place. However, Oliver was wrong about one thing. He is NOT beyond redemption. He just has to believe that he’s worthy of it, and of the work he will have to do to put himself back together and become not only a better man, but a better Green Arrow.
It’s always hard to watch someone you care about (fictional or real) take two steps forward and five steps back when all you want is for them to see themselves the way you do and be happy. but the road to recovery never did run smooth.
- John FRACKING Diggle!
He was EPIC in this episode. I spent the whole time just cheering for him. After last season and his issues with Andy, he has come out the other side a better man, husband, father, and teammate. While it is heartbreaking to watch him see his family now going through their own crucibles, his unwavering faith in both Oliver and Felicity will definitely help them.
John is not ever going to let Oliver go down that dark path again. And he’s not going to let Felicity go down a dark path either.
OTA FOR THE WIN!
- Oliver’s Monster, Oliver’s Soul
There was a lot of talk about the kind of person that Oliver is in this episode. There’s no denying that Oliver was a rather ruthless killer, not only in quite a few of the flashbacks but in the first seasons as well. He’s said it himself.
But he didn’t get there on his own.
Talia, Anatoli, Amanda Waller, Ra’s al Ghul, Slade Wilson, even Yao Fei. They all pushed Oliver’s limits, showed him how far he was willing to go to survive. However, that willingness to do whatever was necessary developed into a part of Oliver, a darkness, that he had to separate from himself with the Hood in order to keep himself sane. And after a while, it became easier for him to remain in that darkness rather than think he was or ever would be a better person. Rather than confront his issues and work through them, Oliver became more and more comfortable letting his “inner monster” take the lead. It was only after he met John and Felicity that he saw there could be more than just survival.
If he wanted to, Olive could learn to live.
And now we see him really, genuinely trying to.
-Talia
I really hope that she gets brought back and gets her comeuppance. Because she is a lot more responsible for what is going on than her screen-time suggests.
When Oliver met her in Russia, she taught him how to turn his darkness into a finely tuned weapon. She taught him how to become the vigilante of the first season.
And she taught Adrian Chase how to do the same thing.
She trained the both of them, knowing what they were going out into the world to do.
She helped set them on their paths to each other.
- Adrian Chase
This season’s villain has probably been the best one that Arrow has ever had. I mean I really REALLY hate him, but at the same time I love how awful he is, if only to be the catalyst for Oliver being the hero he can be.
But it really got me when Adrian said that Oliver was an animal who enjoyed killing.
Methinks the villain doth protest too much.
Adrian has made it his mission to show Oliver that he is a terrible person who deserves to be punished.
ButOliver isn’t the unhinged animal who likes to murder.
Adrian is.
And he’s trying to bring Oliver down with him.
The rest of this season will be VERY interesting.
So there are my thoughts on 5x18! Rest assured, I WILL be around to watch and liveblog 5x19 this week.
Tagging everyone

TJLC in The Six Thatchers *SPOILERS*
JOHNLOCK IN THE SIX THATCHERS ( please read, it'll be worth your time I promise) Okay so I watched The Six Thatchers maybe 8 times now and have a few things I would like to point out to provide further evidence that JohnLock will happen in The Final Problem and would like to hear your thoughts! I know this is really long, but I went into extreme detail of the episode and I think it's worth reading, especially since Rebekah is likely not going to make an episode on it. Anyway, without further ado, All evidence of Johnlock in The Six Thatchers.
1) On the fridge I'm sure we all saw the pamphlet with the elephant, but directly above it is a post-it note with 13th written on it. I started thinking what this could mean and then realised that including TAB, The Final Problem would be episode 13 of Sherlock. The elephant will be addressed finally in the 13th episode.
2) Can we please note the ridiculously not so subtle water imagery throughout the episode? literally overlaying sherlocks face?
3) the main villan of the episode was refered to constantly (before the reveal of her identity) as Ammo, which we find out actually means Love. and said villan ends up killing mary, the one thing standing between sherlock and john. (sidenote I do love Mary as a character and was sad to see amanda go, I knew it had to be done for the sake of Johnlock) also, convenient that John now has a child, something John and Sherlock wouldn't of been able to have on their own.
4) Save John Watson. Save him. Save him Sherlock. Save him from what exactly? Oh I don't know maybe the repressed sexuality he has been hiding all these years? Save him from the pain of staying in the closet? (which is pretty painful, I know from experience. You really do feel saved when you fall in love for the first time) also, Save John Watson; the skip code sent to Mary in the Empty Hearse. In which John was being burned... as in "I will burn the heart out of you" burned. just saying.
5) Free as a bird. #ohwhatabeautifulmorning Here are the lyrics to oh what a beautiful morning - There's a bright golden haze on the meadow, There's a bright golden haze on the meadow, The corn is as high as an elephant's eye, An' it looks like its climbin' clear up to the sky. Chorus: Oh what a beautiful morning, Oh what a beautiful day, I've got a wonderful feeling, Everything's going my way. - Okay how many songs do you know have the word elephant in them? not many, and of course the one song sherlock tweets is about everything going perfectly and mentions a freaking elephant... Also, It's from Oklahoma! the Musical... which you can read about the relevance to in Rebekah's tumblr blog
6) John's Blog We get a quick shot of John's Blog in the opening, (the real life counter part of the blog is no longer being updated) but it's important to note that the counter is no longer stuck at 1895! They've broken past the barrier of the suppressive time period! Also, the titles of the blogs (in order of apperance) are:
221Back! (which from what I can read off the blurred image, is about how he hasn't written in a while and that he'll try to write everything up soon, and that he's going to be a dad)
Dusty Death (a case about a woman who's husband drowned, but had sand in his lungs not water.)
Unknown Blog Entry (about a man who came in looking white as a sheet and a wound in his hand. We don't know much about this case except that it was the wrong thumb?)
The Duplicate Man (How could Dennis Parkinson be in two places at once and murdered in one of them? Again don't know much excpect that it's never twins.)
The Circus Torso (Limbless body found decomposing in trunk in waterloo wouldn't be identified.)
The Canary Trainer (Andrew Wilson was an unusual man with an Unusual hobby. He seemed to have no connection to the man whos life was so abruptedly ended one freezing night)
The Cardiac Arrest (Joel Fentiman was found strangled in the bedsit he shared with his brother. They had always got on well and there was no sign that the situation had changed... we could never have known that there was a potential assasin lurking close by.) I may be reading too much into this one, but perhaps, since people view sherlock and johns relationship as platonic and brotherly, they share a flat, and according to the non tjlc viewers, there is no sign that that would be changing. and if it were to continue on that way, the more than platonic relationship would die. Strangled. not able to speak. or breathe. Suffocated by an assasin... cough mary cough. Again, could be reading too much into this one.
7) Sherlock's Tweets There are many in the first act of the episode and it goes by fast but here is what I could collect in order.
Free as a Bird
#ohwhatabeautifulmornin
#221BringIt!
8) The Canary Trainer Woman: "Didn't see that coming" Sherlock: "Naturally" The woman is the viewers, this is made apparent by the fact that she is viewing sherlock over a device and not face to face in person like a typical client.
9) John's Missed calls from Mary John has 59 missed calls from mary after he spends all his day with sherlock... hmmm in SIB John mentions that Sherlock has had 57 texts from Irene, sherlock recieves two texts from Irene after this point, Im not dead lets have dinner and goodbye mr holmes. making 59 total texts from Irene. Not sure if there is an important connection here but as mycroft so fondly pointed out, there are no such things as coincidences. so take this as you like.
10) Sherlock Watson Sherlock mentions yet again that he wants them to name their daughter Sherlock because her thinks it would sound good, he likes the name Sherlock Watson. Of course Mary and John both remind him that it's not a girl's name, to which Sherlock just grins
11) Sherlock is named Godfather to the child. it's a strectch but Father is in the title and Mother is gone by the end so...
12) Margaret Thatcher Okay so as the title of the episode and the main story line, this is really important. Margaret was one of the greatest Prime ministers of all british history... except for one glaring flaw... she was very anti-gay. Okay, so, the Welsborough couple are mirrors to John and Sherlock, this is clear from the fact that their case begins with a reflection in a balloon. Also because they say they had no life before they met eachother, much in the way john's blog blatently states he literally had no life whatsoever before he met Sherlock. When they kiss, the wife says "she's looking at us disapprovingly again" referring to the Thatcher bust, this however would make no sense unless it's not refering to them as a straight couple but instead their mirrors John and Sherlock, because as I previously stated, Maragret Thatcher was very anti-gay. Throughout the episode busts of Thatcher are being broken in order to find or free something hidden. The are literally shattering the anti-gay minister in order to free something hidden... come on people. this is so glaring its almost baffling how other a handful of us have figured out the true drive of the show. (side note, the power ranger on Charlies car is blue... guess what the name of the blue power ranger is? Billy. Also he was considered the brains of the group) Later in the show sherlock finally catches on to whats happening with the busts and the following conversation occurs between sherlock and lestraude.
L: and now someones wandering about destroying them all. Makes no sense whats the point?
S: No theyre not destroying them. Thats not whats happening
L: yes it it
S:Well it is whats happening but its not the point... Ive been slow, far too slow
L: well im still being slow over here so if you wouldnt mind...
S: slow but lucky, very lucky.
*takes deep breath* okay. so if we read this conversation with the busts representing heteronormativity in media, or the straight perception of the show, and lestraude as the audience, we are being told that yes the physical busts are being destroyed but thats not the point. the point is johnlock. the general audience still doesnt see it, some people are catching on, but the whole thing has been moving very slow, because the writers dont want to rush it, they want to do this right, and in order to do that they need to build up a story for years, a story that will change the way we see things, but without throwing it at us abruptly and randomly. This is a love story remember, and love stories need build up or it feels forced. and this is something that should in no way feel forced.
13) Titles This fun little concersation: *talking about the Ghost Driver case* Sherlock: "Dont give it a title"
John: "people like titles"
Sherlock: "I hate titles"
John: "give the people what they want"
Sherlock: "no, never do that, people are stupid.
Mary: "uhm some people"
Sherlock: "All people are stupid.... most people."
you sure were still talking about blogs boys? Everyone wants to title them as platonic and friends and all this jazz to which sherlock says he hates titles and then goes on to say that most people are stupid, implying that there is a section of people who nderstand and arent blind to the obvious cough cough club tjlc
14) John's Hair I think it's important to note that John is using a lot more product in his hair this season, and as Sherlock Holmes himself pointed out, Product in the hair is a sign of gayness, previous seasons said john only washed his hair, there was a difference. now hes upgraded to full product, clearly taking more of an interest in maintenance of himself. Not to impress mary, theyre already married what's he got to impress at this point? unless hes not trying to impress anyone it's just for himself. which is according to sherlock, kind of gay.
15) SOMETHINGS COMING Throughout the literal entire episode it is constantly repeated that something is coming! The want to make it obvious that it is coming something big is going to happen! Sherlock has a little rant about how by analysing everyones movements and patterns the future is entirely predictable mathmatically. well guess whose been doing that the entire time? Us. The TJCL cool people who have dedicated countless hours into analysing characters to discover that Johnlock will happen in the Final Problem. well done guys yay! Sherlock didn't like the original ending of Appointment in Samarah, she he WROTE HIS OWN ENDING The transition for that scene you may ask? Glass... shattering...onto.....a...shattered...bust...of...antigay...margaret...thatcher .........Guys... come on... they are screaming it to us at this point. 16) Now that youve pointed it out Sherlock talks Mr Kingsley through his deductions, after which mr K states that once he'd explained it, it was quite obvious...(cough cough johnlock) to which sherlock gets offended and making up a bunch of lies, namely, says his wife is the most dangerous spy in the world, operating deep undercover.
17) game face Theres a weird moment where the margaret bust is transposed onto sherlocks face, and then lestraude says that shelock doesnt look pleased. sherlock replies with "this is my game face". Keeping in mind that Thatcher busts in this episode represent the heteronormativity in media, sherlock is putting on a face, a face to appeal to heteronormativity but he isnt pleased. He isn't pleased with wearing the game face anymore... because it's not a game anymore... johnlock, isnt a gameface anymore and the heteronormative mask is going to come off soon.
18) Toby the dog = Johnlock
J: "Hes not moving"
S: "Hes thinking"
J: "Hes really not moving"
S: "Hes slow and sure john, not dissimilar to yourself"
J: "You just like this dog don't you"
S: "Well I like you"
Mary: "Hes still not moving."
*enters montage of Sherlock's theme melting into John's chords in a major key. in a visual pattern identical to John and Sherlock running through the streets of london in SIP*
19) Sherlock. Holmes. Falling. Through. Shattering. Glass. Into. A. Pool. Of. Water. With. Waves. Painted. On. The. Walls. Forcing. A. Man. To. Choke. On. A. Waterfall.
20) Promotional posters In a poster for the Final Problem, there shows a violin with the E string broken. if anyone has a theory to what this represents please let me know. On a seperate poster john and sherlock are in their chairs staring at eachother with the room flooded in water and a tea cup floating between them
21) GWJ GWJ is spray painted on the door outside of the location where Mary and Sherlock meet... Theories for what this stands for? Like... Gay with John? or Go with John? or Gratiss Wants Johnlock?
22) So many lies J: so many lies and I dont just mean you. we find out john means the almost affair here, BUT I don't think so. Okay for started the almost affair broke my heart so I wont be talking about it at all, but the fact that it was even considered means John isnt 100% happy in this marraige. He wouldnt even consider it otherwise. But what isnt he happy with? He loves mary, we all do, shes awesome. Hes got a beautiful child, and is still solving crimes with his best friend... unless... unless he Isn't happy with mary because even though he loves her... He loves someone else more... Sherlock. And being around Sherlock all the time and not knowing Sherlock loves him back while being married has got to be taxing and is definately something that could push someone to consider having an affair. Hes sick of lying to mary and hes sick of lying to sherlock. Hes sick of lying to everyone, he just wants to be out of the dang closet guys!
23) E Okay. Im not going to talk bout the almost affair because im still mad at John for it, but I have to talk about the mystery woman whom it involved. E. Earlier I said there was a promo image with a violin with a broken string, the E string. Now, when we learn about the lies and the almost affair, we see E through the reflection of the plane window. so we know shes a mirror. But a mirror for whom? John? Mary? She is wearing a rose on a necklace, and we know mary's name is actually Rosamund. If it's mary why would John be having an affair with someone who mirrors his wife? Maybe becuse he feels that Mary is the affair and his real relationship is with Sherlock? We also see E next to a poster for the seasons villan and the words It's Murder. Coming soon. Hes Back. and if E really is a mirror for Mary than that's not that big of a jump since Mary is murdered at the end of the episode.
24) The Vauxhall Bridge The Vauxhall bridge is known for it's statues on the pillars which are hidden to anyone on the bridge, and instead only visible to those on the water... a lot of water in this episode guys... a lot.
25) When Sherlock sends John and Mary different texts at the same time. to Mary he says "The curtain rises The last act Its not over." Thats a nod to us, the viewers. Telling us when johnlock is going to happen. the last act. The Final Problem. and not to give up hope because of John shutting out sherlock at the end of the episode. Theyre telling it its okay, its not over, all will be revealed in the last act. 26) water water water freaking everywhere opening, water rosies's mobil has fishes, rosie's baptism. Sherlocks face overlayed with water as hes taking to mycroft about destiny. Sherlock fighting with ajay in lots of water Sherlock meeting with Mary in the rain Sherlock standing on a bridge above water Mary getting freaking shot in an aquarium.... SHerlock goes to therapy and what does Ella have on the table? Water. Guys... come on...
27) What to do about John?
S:I need to know what to do
E:Do?
S:About John.
*increased heartbeat is heard in background*
What's the worst thing you can do to your closest friends? Tell them the truth. Sherlock hun you gotta tell John how you feel.
28) Molly We only see Molly once in this episode and shes a mess. we know shes a john mirror so john is a total wreck at this point, but is really sorry for shutting out Sherlock.
29) Closing Can Samarra be avoided? Im looking at the merchant story as the Sherlock Holmes story as it's always been told. Two platonic friends who are just that. And like how Sherlock wrote his own ending, where the merchant goes to another town and lives, Moffat and Gratiss are writing their own end. One where Sherlock and John get to live free and be together. Free from the 1895 lock around their story. Can samarra be avoided? Well it fades to water and then we get Mary telling Sherlock to go to Hell (no idea what that means gunna be completely honest here) but I think that the whole point of the episode is yes. samarra can be avoided. and thats what their going to do. write a new ending. because as moffat says, if youre not writing it to change something, to correct someone, than you shouldnt be writing it at all.
SO there we go. Those are all the things I found in the 6 Thatchers. I would love to hear what you all think,. Thank you to anyone who read all the way through. Im so blessed to have been apart of this amazing journey with all of you. Now all we need is a gay disney princess am I right? Seriously though, I love you all and am blessed to be in such a great community here.
TL;DR johnlock is real. it will happen. and it will happen in the final problem.

Amanda Heckerling was a Bitch
A Supernatural One-Shot
Amanda Heckerling was a bitch. Marie Clayman already knew this, had decided it in fifth grade when she’d tormented her for her black dress and braids by calling her “Wednesday Adams”. Her mother had died three months prior, her father had taken off for parts unknown a month later. Her aunt, who had once swore never to return to the tiny town she’d escaped from, put her sister’s daughter first and came back to raise her in her parents house. That made Marie the talk of the town and her aunt told her Amanda was probably jealous. It didn’t help Marie feel better about the bullying. It made her hate her more. Amanda with her perfect clothes, and her perfect family and her perfect circle of friends. Who never went a week without putting down something about those who didn’t fit into her perfect world.
Then she grew thicker skin (and boobs), lost her virginity and discovered that guys liked bad girls. It was one hell of a summer. When she got back she sneered at Amanda’s superior attitude, called her “that dumb bitch” without a care, and seduced Amanda’s ex who the blonde was so sure was going to come crawling back to her. By the time she was done, he never even looked at the other girl again. Amanda was pissed, but quickly latched onto one of the football players as proof she didn’t care. One whispered promise of a blow job, and he dumped the blonde faster than he came down her throat. Marie laughed herself sick, and responded to Amanda’s taunts of “slut” with her middle finger and “frigid stiff”.
When the counselor called her aunt, she gave Marie a look of exasperated fondness, assured her that college would prove a different world from High School, and that everyone would grow up. Meaning not just Amanda but Marie as well. Marie thought herself very grown up, thank you, it was Amanda that needed to get over herself. She wasn’t that important, no matter what her bffs tittered about.
As she watched Truman High’s Queen Bee tear Dean Winchester a new one, however, it reconfirmed to her that not only was Amanda a bitch, she was a dumb bitch. She’d never even seen Dean take the bimbo out for ice cream, and she’d wanted to take him home to meet her parents. The guy who made you cream your panties in the broom closet wasn’t who you asked to dinner in your house, unless your parents weren’t home. She had barely known Dean a few weeks, it was no wonder the guy had panicked. What sucked was how upset he looked at Amanda’s words. Most guys would have blown her off, but Dean looked honestly hurt by what she had said. Another victim of Ms Perfect. Clearly this couldn’t be her fault. She couldn’t possibly have asked for too much too fast and chased Dean away. Dean had to be at fault cuz Amanda was perfect. It made Marie sick.
From the moment he’d climbed out of the hottest car Marie had ever seen in person (and she blamed her car fetish on Dean Winchester even later in life despite the fact it had apparently been his father’s. Dean climbed out of the car, therefore it was all on him.), she knew she had to hook up with him. Him tongue tangling with Amanda didn’t matter. She was sure she’d get her chance.
When he’d finally asked her into the closet, she’d pretty much known the answer to her question -“Do you wanna get caught?” His “maybe” made her grin, and the look on Amanda’s face made her year.
Then Amanda had degraded Dean in front of the whole school - which was unnecessary, because, hello, private matter much? Dean looked stricken and Amanda was back on her hate list. She’d planned to offer him some private consolation, but the next day the Winchesters were gone.
Which sucked, because when she thought about the facts, she knew why Dean had broken off with Amanda. The car that they had been dropped off in wasn’t seen in town til the day they left. Not at the school, or the grocery store, not even the Gas'n'Sip. If the car was Dean’s father’s, then where had he been all those weeks his sons were in school? Dean, however, she had seen around town. At the grocery store, at the Gas'n'Sip, and at the local diner - with his brother, not Amanda Heckerling. Dean didn’t join any after school clubs or sports team. Even though she’d heard the wrestling coach had asked twice if he’d be interested. Dean was always seen meeting up with his brother after school, and hadn’t attended a single one of the parties she knew he’d have gotten invited to as the new hot guy on campus.
She’d been in the support group three years after her mother’s death and father’s abandonment. Knew the alert signals for neglect and abuse better than the teacher’s probably did. Looking back, Dean was a walking case. Amanda’s words were the last someone in that situation needed.
Dean and Amanda weren’t even really dating. Older her would look back and use the term “fuck buddies”, younger her just knew that making out in the supply closet didn’t equal ‘going out.’ She’d asked Dean a few questions about how far Amanda and he had gone. Mostly so she could prove she was better at it. If she used that info to get a little revenge for both of them, she figured he wouldn’t mind.
She’d forgotten, she supposed, how cruel kids could be. She’d been an outsider before she became the school slut. Neither up or down on the scale. She had nowhere to fall. Amanda did.
At first it was just whispers, then snickers. A crude comment here or there. But as the rumors grew, things got worst. Watching the cliques she’d once run turn her back on Amanda should have made her feel giddy with excitement. Instead it made her uncomfortable. The comments and insults grew cruder as Amanda was left more and more alone. Like sharks smelling blood in the water, the harassment began to escalate. Crude notes on her locker and desk, taunts when she was caught crying.
Any enjoyment was long lost on Marie as graduation approached, When she saw Truman High’s new Queen Bee in the hall lording it over Amanda shortly before Prom, she’d had enough.
“Anyone taking you to Prom, Amanda? I’m sure a slut like you has lots of options, right? Provided there’s anyone left you haven’t slept with.”
“Jealousy doesn’t suit you, Cammy.” Marie found herself stepping in. “But then neither does anything you wear. Maybe if you didn’t dress so dumpy guys would actually want to sleep with you.”
“Guess whores stick together, huh, Marie?”
Marie shrugged. "Better a whore than a back-stabbing ex-bff like you.“ Ignoring Cammy’s sputtering she looked at Amanda. “You should go stat to the Prom. Feminism and all that.”
Amanda and her never became friends. In fact, she never saw her after graduation. Her aunt had been waiting for her with a moving van, and when they left the small town, Marie never looked back.
She thought back on occasion, however, and concluded that Amanda Heckerling had still been a bitch. But maybe Marie Clayman had been a bitch too. And maybe that was okay. They’d had a lot of growing up to do.
Fini
Okay, so, Dean’s plot in After School Special clearly bothered me quite a bit. I’m not one to condone cheating, but it’s only cheating if you actually are in a relationship. And the facts, as I attempt to have Marie (the name I gave the girl he made out with to ditch Amanda) point out is - he’s not dating Amanda. They make out a few times. You don’t see a single scene where Dean does anything resembling dating her. No lunches, no dates, no parties. Nada. Not surprising, since, as the audience knows, Dean is clearly watching Sam after school every night since John is MIA the entire episode.
So, seriously, Amanda’s thought process is this: ‘Hey, I’ve known you a couple weeks and you’ve stuck your tongue down my throat a half dozen times, want to meet my parents?’ Because that is such a normal mind frame. Shouldn’t you be inviting him somewhere else first? Like a party? School dance? The milkshakes I made Marie mention in the fic? Something that doesn’t sound like you’re trying to get the guy you just met to marry you? And we as the audience are supposed to be on her side??
As a girl I know once put it - “Moments like these make me want to rip my vagina out with my bare hands, because I’m so damn embarrassed to be a girl.”
There is nothing normal about how Amanda acts about the whole thing. And there is definitely nothing sympathetic about her, let alone her and Dean’s final confrontation. Dean had every right to freak out. A normal high school boy would freak out, let alone Dean with his family life and emotional issues.
Amanda isn’t completely wrong with what she says to Dean, about how he acts and why, but the fact is her using it to humiliate him makes her very shallow and even less sympathetic. She’s pretty much proving he was right to push her away, and cementing in his mind that he can’t trust anyone.
Marie’s comments about Dean being a walking case for Neglect and Abuse is her basing things on the facts I let her know. Dean is 18, yet doesn’t socialize with other teenagers outside of school, nor joins a single sport or club. His father is never seen around town. (It’s said several times between Sam and Dean in the episode that John isn’t there the entire time. Which means for the boys to have food, supplies, clean clothes, Dean would have to be the one providing it all.) Several facts in later season (Sam not knowing Dean can cook, Dean mentioning serving Mac and Cheese dozens of ways, Dean leaving Sam at Plucky Pennywhistle’s Magical Menagerie) suggest that he wasn’t doing a whole lot of cooking, so he and Sam would probably have been eating some of their meals at diners and fast food spots around the town - once again without their father. So Marie, with her history, would jump to that conclusion. A conclusion that isn’t completely wrong. John isn’t simple in anyway, and I never can help myself from trying to get into his head, but I don’t think anyone can deny that John was guilty of Neglect. (This from from a fanfic writer who was an 80s latch key kid.) And some of his actions in my mind definitely border on emotional/mental abuse. Yes, John loves Sam and Dean, and yes, he tried his best, but let’s face it, John kinda sucked despite his best efforts.
I decided to keep in mind the bullying aspect of After School Special. Amanda, as the popular girl in school, would have bullied other girls at some point. That’s just the cold facts of school life. Her actions toward Dean clearly point out that she has no problem insulting and humiliating another student whose displeased her. However, Marie is no angel. She’s a troubled kid herself, who is a bit obsessed with paying Amanda back for her previous bullying. When she actually sees it happen, though, she realizes how little enjoyment she gets out of it. Defending her when she’s responsible for Amanda’s predicament doesn’t make Marie a good person. Which I have her admit to herself at the end, as proof that she’s both grown up from the experience, and is moving on with her life.

resentment
THEN: my mom for hitting me with a switch, for hitting me in general, for getting into cussing fights with her, for leaving me at home while she dated, for making me watch and care for my sister, for bringing different guys home, for spending the night with guys and leaving us home alone, for making comments about my weight, for not noticing I was sad and depressed, for not knowing I skipped school for a month
NOW: my mom for getting sick, for being disabled, for being helpless, for taking too much medicine and falling asleep on the toilet, for needing things from everyone and it never being enough, for being with a hateful man she can’t get away from, for letting my sister walk all over her and use her
THEN: my brother for never listening, for always getting in trouble, for doing mean things to me such as bashing my head into the computer screen, super gluing my hands together, constantly making fun of me, having his friends make fun of me, him and his friends calling me shamu, when people found out I was his sister they would be shocked because he was “cool” and cute and I was fat and ugly.
NOW: my brother going to prison, for cheating on all of his girlfriends, never holding a job down, never trying
THEN: my sister for being pretty, skinny, tan. for having boyfriends before I did even though I was older, for always tagging along to my friends
NOW: my for having a baby and not loving her enough, for letting her daughter witness her fighting, for getting pregnant again, for staying with her stupid boyfriend who treats her like crap, for not doing something with her life
THEN: my dad for not wanting me, for beating my mother, for beating my brother, for not claiming my sister as his own, for not meeting my mom on pick up days and we would wonder why he didn’t want to see us that weekend, him never calling to even cancel, for not talking to or seeing us for months at a time, for making us go to his family's house where they would make us feel like outsiders, constantly being judged for my weight by my family and going shopping with my grandma and aunt and being so embarrassed because nothing fit or looked good, for doing the same with his new wife- for caring more about her kids than about his own
NOW: my dad for not wanting me, I sought my father out on Myspace then Facebook and tried to make a relationship. We met up a few times here and there but then he just stopped trying. He would message me randomly and say things like “hope you are well” and he would like my Facebook photos and even share old ones of me on my birthday even though he never offered to meet up or even see me or call me on my birthday. To share photos of him with his “grand kids” which are his wife’s grandchildren and to not be involved in his own children’s lives makes me sick. After much debate I decided I didn’t want him to peek inside my life and know everything that’s going on without actually being apart of it, to me that is not fair. You can’t tell the rest of your family about my life, tell your coworkers and not even speak to me. That’s not real and you don’t deserve it. So I deleted and blocked him and I feel better. If you’re not going to be IN my life then you don’t even get to see it from afar.
dave for being violent with me, for making fun of me, for always mocking my diets, for being too fat for him or too skinny for him, for him to buy me sugar and get mad when I don’t want it, for treating my mom like crap, for being so hateful and judgemental to everyone, for calling Kelly LB because he thinks shes a lesbian, for favoring my sister over me, for having different opinions of people on different days.
bullies who called me names, made fun of my clothes because i wore the same pants two days in a row, yelled out no I will not make out with you just so the whole class would look at me and laugh, not eating during lunch because I didn’t want anyone seeing the fat girl eat, the fat girl didn’t deserve to eat, being told by a friends parent that she needs skinnier friends, parents friend saying something about me being a drop out, being forced to drop out because I moved to a bad town and then everyone assuming I just wanted to drop out because I was a loser, constantly moving, having to go to new schools when you’re bullied, making friends and then losing them due to moving.
People at work who continue to comment on my weight saying things such as “I remember when you were thin”, “are you trying to gain weight? Cause it looks like you have”, “you’re heavy but you can tell you work out” too many people have commented on my weight and they think because they can see me with their own two eyes that that gives them permission to comment on my body. I wear a lot of baggy clothes now to hide myself...when I wear something fitted I get the “you’ve lost weight” comment and Its because I’ve been in hiding. I want to walk around in a trash bag so no one can see my body.
ex boyfriends for treating me like crap, for taking advantage of my kindness.
buying him a ticket to MO to live with me, taking my car and wrecking it, taking my car and getting a DWI and getting my car towed, getting a car repoed that i cosigned on, getting us kicked out of our apartment, breaking up with someone and then being made feel guilty for it, getting threatened to commit suicide if I did this or that, throwing a remote at me and hitting me in the back, throwing a fountain soda at me, pushing me onto the bed, overdosing and making me worry to death, overdosing after being broken up with, starting a new job a day after a break up, driving far to see someone for the last time, buying someone numerous phones only for him to keep breaking them on purpose, broken up with over the phone, myspace, being with someone who can’t hold a job, being the financial dependent in a household of two, being an enabler, being called fat when the relationship was over, laptop being thrown down the stairs.
I want someone to understand me. I want to speak and be understood. I don’t want to explain myself and when people don’t understand me I get frustrated and angry. I want whomever I’m speaking to to know my feelings and I think I shouldn’t have to say them, that person should just know and when they don’t I get hurt.
I would steal little cakes when I lived with jess and take them to my room and eat them, honestly I’ve done that a lot of places. I would just take cakes and cookies from cupboards and eat them secretly or shove them in my mouth quickly.
Gluttony: Feeling sad or depressed, and holidays are time I always eat excess. Or If I’m at my moms house, or just at home with nothing to do.
Wrath: I feel like I have dropped all of my grudges and made amends with those people such as connie, amanda, my dad, my exes (in a way). I don’t think you need to be best friends or even involve said forgiven person in your life for you to forgive them and let it go. It is easier for me for my dad to not be in my life since he only wants to be in my facebook life. I don’t know if I’ve forgiven John and Stephen. I feel angry writing about the things they did to me. And also shocked that they happened.
Envy: I envy alot of people. I mostly envy people who are happy and comfortable in their own skin and with their lives at the present moment. They’re not always complaining and said about this or that. Just content.
Greed: I want to be in control and get credit for everything because I fee like I have always been overlooked at my job, where I excel.
Pride: I feel I am better than mean people and dumb people. People that have gotten “far” in life only to treat me as if I am not as good as them when in reality I am smarter than them. I guess I feel like I’m better than some people and that’s not true.
Lust: When I was dating I was meeting guys and sleeping with them whenever I wanted. I personally don’t think that’s necessarily bad but I know I was looking for love and acceptance in the form of sex and attention. Sex is not love but when you are depressed and hate yourself it sure feels like it could be.
I feel guilty for a lot of things I don’t think I should feel guilty about but I am just too nice and have too much of a conscious. I feel bad when I don’t see my mom often, when I’m not there to help her with things, when I wasn’t there to help her with her surgery, that I don’t see Faith enough, that I don’t see certain friends enough, that I don’t try hard enough to get to know Aarons mom. Things that I am made to feel guilty about. I am easily guilted because I love hard and I want everyone to know I love them.
I did feel guilty when I was dating Aaron in the beginning and I had Bruce stay at my house on the couch, however I did not sleep with Bruce and it was the last time I saw him and Aaron and I became official not long after. I felt guilty for not trying hard enough with Bruce and then trying too hard when he obviously didn’t want it any longer. The only relationship I felt like I tried to make it work because I was so devastated over the end of it. It was such a whirlwind of a romance. Something out of the movies and I just thought it was over before it began. But he went on to bigger and better things without me and thats how he wanted it.
