Rite Here Rite Now

It was amazing and funny. Copia girlies and boys fucking won!

I expected different outcome, tbh. Tobias managed to surprise me and also made me a tiny bit sad (reasons will be explained in the spoilers below).

The film consists of like 95% of concert footage and 5% of off stage/plot stuff. The quality of sound and editing is just 🤌 I expected the live of Twenties to be good and gosh Ghost delivered. And Mummy Dust...Tobias let Mary Goore out! But i honestly prefer Terzo's version (CaD) better. Sorry not sorry haha. Ghouls/Ghoulettes footage. Everyone who loves them will be very veeeery well fed!

Dance Macabre live...i was'nt wrong when i called it a satanic gay party 😁

The movie is worth watching and i do hope Ghost releases it as soon as possible for all those who were not able to go.

Movie starts with Saltarian who tells fans to record for the first 2 minutes, to show how happy they are etc and posted a qr code for fans to upload those recordings. I guess it will be put up on RHRN website. We'll see. There were also photos of fans who attended LA ritual. I fucking loved the person who showed up in a giant Plushia suit. I LOLed! Then fans were asked to put down the phones and enjoy the movie. The beginning was narrated Star Wars kinda style (a little bit) with the small recap of the chapters and about Copia's worries that he might die. And yes, it literally began in space lol. The movie is basically is like what we saw in small snippets Ghost posted earlier. Plot mixed with a really good show.

And the plot: -Short footage of Copia and Ghouls arriving. ALmost the whole set was the same as any other concert from Re-Imperatour + a few awesome exceptions. -Dews does that annoying thing with guitar, Rain stops him, takes his pick and throws it into the crowd and Dew...he freaking showed him YouSuck sticker on the backside of his guitar. Peak Dew moment! -Copia asked the right question about the Clery. He also does not quite understand what it does, why and where it goes. I suppose Tobias decided to thicken the Ghost lore a bit and will have more clarity in the nearest future. -Remember when Copia jumped at the end of the Watcher in the Sky? He ended up in one of those stage boxes (for equipment or something) and is taken to the stage B. While he's carried to it by Kevin he has a chat with Nihil's ghost. Nihil says he recorded not 2, but 3 songs. That probably means that we'll hear a new one. (UPD: the new song we heard during the credits, "The Future is a Foreign Land" is Nihil's 3rd song! Confirmed by Tobias himself in a new interview). He also tells Copia to breath in deep and then farts. -On the Stage B Copia sings "If You Have Ghosts". 3 Ghoulettes played piano and violins and the 4th one did the haunting ghost-like opera vocals. It was beatiful. Copia kissed her hand. -He then wore boxing robe and went next to crowd. Almost the whole scene was shown in the trailer. -Btw, remember that silly moment when Nihil's eyes were crossing? Well, Kevin was also included in that staring contest. -Twenties live. The skeletons, the performance and one of those skeletons who crawled between Dew's legs...that's hot. -Nihil calls Copia "son". Copia calls Nihil "Dad". Cardi will insult him later, don't worry. -Nihil/Seestor cartoon during MOAC. Yes, that's when Sis hit him with the car. Basically it's what happens after "Kiss the Go Goat" mv. Sister leaves and Nihil runs after her. "I'll never let you go". They end up kissing in a coffin on a graveyard , later Nihil wakes up naked in a bed in a motel and we see Sister leave. -There was a moment in a movie when we see Ashley (stage crew) bring Copia a new pair of shoes and put the on on his feet. Tobias, goddammit what the hell was that? :D -Seestor was a in wheelchair all the time -She and Nihil encouraged Copia throughout the whole movie and gave him a piece of advice. -About the baloon from the poster. Copia flies on it after finishing the set...or he imagined that because a few moments later after Nihil/Seestor flashbacks he ends up on the floor and watches Seestor die. All of the Ghouls and Ghoulettes also stood right next to her. -Copia has a twin brother -Copia didn't die and became the head the Clergy (Father Imperator or something like this). He found out about his new position from a letter Seestor left for him. -New song during credits (credits show dictators, assassinations, wars and the use of nuclear war). Years 1984 and 2024 mentioned. The song is not heavy. -Ghouls/Ghoulettes real names mentioned in the credits -Funny post credit scene with Copia. He had no piant on and had a new cool drip (with black jacket and red and black cross). Seestor is also a Ghost now. Tobia's children cameo. They're also Ghosts. -Papa V is teased the same way Copia was teased in a chapter 1. They even used the same music (Pro Memoria). No face reveal. Either he will be revealed in new Chapters or at some point during the new tour???

-aaaand my biggest disappointment: no footage of Primo, Secondo and Terzo. Literally ZERO.

I mean, Nihil is a Ghost, Seestor also became a Ghost, even Tobias' children made a cameo as Ghosts, but nothing for previous Papas? Really?! The same could have been done for them, but i guess Tobias doesn't care about them anymore :( And it hurts. I know that's my fault that i had so many expectations and hopes, but holy shit :( As a newbie who never saw previous Papas, i'm so sad i'll never get a chance to see them and there won't be any new footage of them. Being Terzo widow is so hard. Guess that's why i'm a bit salty Copia lives (sorry, guys, i like him, but i also hate him haha)

And yes, as it turned out the twins theory from Square Hammer was true...but not for Terzo 😭

I enjoyed the movie nevertheless. It's fun and kinda gives you an opportunity to see the band "live" if you've never been to a ritual before. And yes, the movies was'nt just about Papa IV and his fate, i believe it was also Tobias' message for us to enjoy the life rite here rite now! As i said, Copia's girlies and boys truly fucking won. Congrats, lads, your Papa lives and will live! I bet that feels amazing. Thanks for reading! P.S. since you know the plot, don't spoil it for the others please.

→ Writing Style

Preferred Point of View:

I use third person limited only! I know my characters actions and thoughts and internal feelings, but I do not like when my roleplay partner takes over my oc! Please do not think or act for my character as I won't do that for you either! (This does not apply to us ooc if you are the type to send content because you think it's very my-oc etc.!)

Narrative Tone:

I use a lot of terms and slang that are improper depending on the character I am writing, but for the most part I try to maintain a romantic and whimsical tone. I prefer airy, lofty, flowery uses of words when the scene calls for it! And I'm perfectly fine with a simple, brisk, response as well (if warranted).

Pacing:

Slow burn is my favorite element of roleplay! Feeling like you're waiting for the latest new episode of your favorite show to drop is half the fun of a good plot! I am the type of roleplayer who does not mind making a server for our roleplay, therefore if you start to get bored of the "canon" plot we can start another slow burn that's new, or even create a rushed romance, in the form of an au!!

Detail Level:

I'm very detailed and I don't expect that of any of my rp partners consistently! I would absolutely love if you were, but I am not picky whatsoever! Please just make sure the parts that truly count in our story are accurately detailed and written, so that I can give you a proper thought out reply that makes us both happy!

Dialogue Style:

I tend to write as much as I can! I'm flexible depending on my partner. I've been on a roleplay hiatus for quite some time, so I'm currently getting used to roleplaying with people again. I never stopped writing however, so my hopes is I'll get back to where I was! Typically I can give multi-paragraph responses, when I have the time and privacy I can push the Discord character limit- double it even! But if my partner needs less and less detail, we can arrange for it instantly! Just communicate:)

I stick to 1x1 pairings, because of the tendency to crave that romantic energy in the plot, but that doesn't limit me to creating intense detail for our 1x1! I focus on one pairing, but I put more focus on detail and add many side characters that become canon to the character of choice.

Posting Frequency:

I'm a student in the Midwest, and I'm at school from 8am to 3pm CST! HOWEVER, I am nearly completed and I have 2 hours of break combined up there when I'm bored! Class can sometimes move slow, and I'll have time to communicate ooc with you of course! Once I'm home, I have a lack of schoolwork so I've very attentive to replies towards 3:30pm CST until around 11:30pm/12am!!

Communication Style OOC:

This is important! When we chat I'll be asking for the password to make sure you read this part ^^ Keep reading did it! Please note that I prefer to have rp partners that really get into the plot of our two characters! If we can't have some small talk here and there ooc, AT LEAST about our characters, I don't think we'll be a good match! I'm not forcing you to be my friend, but we have to have some platonic chemistry to write together and enjoy it! Bonus points the password is star if we have our own server (for channels to put ooc, headcanons, memes, future plot ideas, fcs, etc)

I will not play any minor with an adult vice versa! I also refuse to roleplay anything medieval, seeing as I have zero experience. Romance and Relationships:

I can play mxm pairings and mxf pairings! For men I have a hard time writing more shy/timid/'cute' characters and they're typically flawed (not overly), rougher, men. In mxf pairings I will only write the female character, and I can flesh out the character more compared to her male counterpart. Please do not ask me to play outside of these pairing preferences!

World-Building:

Please try to be descriptive with how you envision the scene playing out!! I l-o-v-e taking time to build up the world our characters live in. Even if it's just "modern day [insert obtainable real place]", I want to know what the people in that place are like, the goers on the sidewalk, what the scene looks like in detail when it rains, the way the pavement is cracked or not, I DON'T CARE just be descriptive.

Figured it'd be nice to chat about it a bit since this'll probably be the last S2 ep we'll get for the year, so lets get into it~

Quick spoiler warning below for those who haven't seen the Mammon ep yet-

Alriiiighty, to start things off lets talk about the Pros of this ep!~ :>

-Bless. 👏My. 👏Guy. 👏Fizz. He was SUCH a gem to watch, here!~ 🥺Everything from his strong passion for being the best performer possible, his anxieties about fitting up to his idol Mammon's vision (in spite of all his exploitative treatment of Fizzarolli), and him eventually finding the courage to stand up to his crooked boss to quit on a high note (aka: his "F*** You") song… aaaaa, just chef kiss Loved it~

-Ozzie's back to being the best smooth talking-yet-loving bf to help out Fizzarolli, which is also a big treat to see!~❤️ You can just feel how much he truly loves and thinks highly of Fizz, trying to encourage that he's the best just how he is… and that he doesn't need a prick like Mammon to "improve" his act 🥰. Honestly, would SO be down to just see more of Fizzmodeus' wholesome lovin' over the Sto*litz melodrama we've got now… for real lol >3> 👌👌

-Speaking of which, Blitz was fun to see pop up in more of a supportive role to Fizz's story, standing by as his "security" while trying to remind Fizz of what's really important over kissing up to Mammon's crowd. I even liked that tidbit from Ozzie that Blitz is just a "kind-of friend" rn, showing that he and Fizz are actually taking time to rebuild their bond instead of everything being fully-swept under the rug… which imo is refreshing to see, all things considered 👍👍

-As far as Mammon himself goes… well I mean, what you see is what you get when it comes to him lol 🤷 . A crude, money-grubbing showboat who's all about making a profit… which def fits the vibe to him being the embodiment of Greed imo .3. Glad he got his comeuppance and whether he comes back or not in the future, lets just hope Fizz will keep to standing his ground against this walking moneybag 🤞🤞

-Those Klown sisters "Glitz & Glam" were a fun lil duo themselves, catty but committed to their roles as stage performers 🤩(and ngl, their song "Klown B***h" was pretty catchy too~). Didn't even try to cheat/sabotage Fizz's acts despite all their attitude with him earlier, so good on ya girls~ 👍

-That moment of Fizz bonding with his fan over sign language was super sweet, really showing at the core what a caring idol Fizz is to wanna make his audience happy~ 😊😊

Now, as far as any Cons regarding the episode… hmmmm:

-While I get what they were trying to go for with Mammon's aesthetic (lowkey being a walking Christmas tree, aka: commercialism lol)… ehhhhh, I feel like something's a bit "missing" in him fully feeling like a Greed sin imo .x. Idk if it might be his head giving the "same-face syndrome" vibe as some other HB guys, or his whole "true form" basically just having some extra eyes/spider legs for some reason… buuuut eh, just not really feeling it from an artistic standpoint 🤷.

-Ngl, am I the only one who felt kinda bad for the Klown twins' predicament by the end? ^^; Like, yeah they were pretty bitchy to Fizz earlier but I mean… it lowkey-wasn't too different to Blitz' asshole attitude to everyone else (which is usually played off as a good thing/joke by the narrative) so like… did they really deserve getting slammed by that giant rock thing at the end? Heck even just a quick heads up from Fizz letting Glitz & Glam know what an exploitative prick Mammon actually is (at least more with the whole "make a s*x doll out of your image" thing... *shudders* >>; ) could've sufficed fine… esp since the girls themselves could've easily fit in better to like, Verosika's crew or something with their popstar-vibe. But again, that miiiiight just be me… .3.

-That one stalkerish fanboy of Fizz was a real creep indeed… which I guess also played well to his established role (though at least Mammon had some entertaining presence to him, in-comparison >>). Glad Blitz at least offed the guy off quickly to give his bud some breathing room👍 . The less we gotta deal with incels like that, the better -x-;

Aaaand yeah, that basically about covers my thoughts on the Mammon ep! :thumbsup: Didn't expect it to release so soon as it did, but I say it did a splendid job as the mid-season finale(?) for S2! ^^ Lot of heart, lot of laughs, lot of splendor and polish to entertain a viewer… hope to see more of this improved writing for the rest of the season to follow!

Happy New Year everybody! Hope you had a wonderful celebration :D

Since it's the start of a new year I wanted to tell you about some updates and future plans and creative projects of mine.

First things first:

I'm preparing to open a Redbubble shop! It's partially as a joke and partially so that I can share my designs around, particularly the Team Grima and Team Sombron ones I had in mind for a while. (and by god I'm gonna take the opportunity to make Echoes fan merch since it's sorely missing) I do need to make five designs to open a shop and I want to do them right, but as soon it's ready I'm gonna post the link. When that day comes, feel free to just look around or buy something if you really wanna give me money that badly. If you don't, you can always come over at my art blog @fayessketchbook and tell me you like my art. It's free and I will love you forever.

I want to play more Fire Emblem, be the games I still haven't played, ROM hacks or emblemlikes. And I want to stream them if I can! I made a Twitch channel last year but I barely ever streamed last year, just played a little of Gaiden. But since I want to play more of Fire Emblem, it would be fun sharing it with you! I have no intention of becoming a Twitch streamer for now (mainly because it sounds like a pain and I really don't care enough to learn how everything works, also I'm a socially anxious introvert), but playing chill FE from time to time together does sound fun. No schedules or anything, just a couple of hours whenever I have nothing else to do in the evening. As for which games I want to play, well I am absolutely gonna stream all of Sacred Echoes ( :D), but other than that we'll see. Probably Walk with the Living, if only because I feel really bad for the anon who recommended it to me since I never got around to actually playing it.

I am still without a Switch and a job, so the Three Houses liveblog is still very much on hold for the time being. While I do find the project daunting and more ambitious than I can probably handle (since it's very much intended to be both a blind playthrough and a critical deep dive), I do hope I can start it this year, if only to test the water and because I think it would be a really cool long-term project. (also, regarding the above point: even if I get a Switch and a capture card, I will not stream Three Houses until I've completed all the routes to avoid jackasses coming in chat to spoil me or start shit about the house leaders for the upteenth time thus spoiling me. I somehow managed to stay almost spoiler-free through all these years and I want to keep it that way.)

I want to write more and finish at least one of my WiPs. I don't know if I actually will.

Oh also, a friend gifted me a PS1, which means among other things that I can play TearRing Saga on legitimate hardware, so that's pretty cool!

Anyways, that's it for now. If I forgot something I'll edit the post or reblog it, otherwise I don't think I'll make any huge blog updates until my blog anniversary next month.

Hello, my sweet Rae!!! Sorry it's so late, I got swept up in chatting with some pals I haven't talked to in a while and they had a new puppy and before I knew it it was midnight. BUT THERE WAS A PUPPY. A PUPPY, RAE. You understand.

F. What stories are you planning for the future?

Sooooooo many. I mean, I'm doing a Year of Tropes, so there's 12 at least! A/B/O Javi G is coming in January, there's a Tovar trope fic set for February, and probably Javier for March. I'm keeping the tropes close to the chest, but I hope you'll like them!!!

I have the end of I'll Never Fall In Love Again ready to write. That was supposed to be two more chapters, but I covered enough in the most recent chapter that it may only end up being one more. Or one and an epilogue. (Exciting tidbit is that I just commissioned a piece of art for it--for the final scene specifically! I told the artist that she could dress Dieter and Cakes any way she wanted that fit the scene and I'd write it in. I can't wait to see what she creates for it!)

I'll keep writing Losing My Religion and Sweets Series for sure. I may be wrapping up Pats very soon though; I have another big chapter planned and that may be where I leave them for a while.

I may be continuing my Tarot reader Oberyn story...it has a rough outline, I keep playing with it, but I guarantee it would get really weird...

I'd like to take Light Only Shows You Where the Shadows Are (Max Phillips) further. I’m rather proud of this one. I absolutely loved playing with making Max both very unsettling/dangerous and very protective/soft at the same time and wonder if I can continue that. I like very still, very quiet horror and don't get to play with that enough here.

And my brain just came up with an idea for Joel. It's not an earth-shattering idea, but the format would be completely different than what I usually write. It's not a media fic or anything at all like you're doing, but I do take some inspiration from your Formula 1 fic and your bold format shake up. I've been wanting to do something that is challenging in execution but freeing in structure, if that makes any sense. And it's different enough that I don't know if anyone will read it. (I'd still write it if I really loved it though.) But. I'm going to wait for the series to come along. I'd rather write for Pedro's Joel than Troy's. Start fresh. With a Pedro face!

I may also have some soft series ideas for Frankie and Javier...but we'll see what happens with the other boys first.

I had a series set in Salem with Ezra that was inspired by my trip there a year ago. It's completely outlined and could still happen...but I didn't get to it this year. 2023 may be the year I return to Ezra!!!!

The theme, my good lady, is soft, dammit. The theme is yearning and love and romance. The theme is working on your own faults and insecurities in order to love yourself and your person better. The theme is trust and communication and understanding. The theme is suffering through just enough angst to pop your heart open like a chestnut so you can get to all the sweetness inside. The theme is Pedro boys, but marinated in butter and sugar, gooey, sweet, with just a dash of spice, but meant to be a very nice indulgence. The theme is I WRITE WHAT I WANT AND I HOPE YOU HAVE FUN TOO.

[Insertlive] Have fun with Young K who cures the feeling of longing for My Day Indonesia

Jakarta, Insertlive - Young K came to Indonesia on October 28 for his concert Letter with Notes in Jakarta which was promoted by Mecimapro. At this concert, Young K succeeded in treating My Day's longing with his solo songs. Not only that, this 29 year old man also sang songs from his band DAY6. However, before greeting his fans directly, Young K took time to chat with media crew, one of whom was InsertLive.

In an exclusive interview session with InsertLive, Young K answered all questions from My Day Indonesia and played games. What's the all the excitement like?

1. This first question is about the album, how long did it take to make? Were the many issues during the process?

All the songs that were released were recorded right after I finished military service. It was a short period, but I did everything I could at that time, and the results were good.

2. Regarding military service, after you finish military service you seem very busy. Starting from being a radio DJ, releasing a new album, and also being a judge on a survival show. Is there anything else you want to do in the future? Maybe things you've never tried?

I think I have tried enough challenges in my life now, so I haven't thought about trying new things again. I just want to try to do my best to face the current challenges.

3. Speaking of your latest album, which song is your favorite? And can you tell us the process of making the song?

From all the discography (catalogs or tracklists) I've written so far, I always say that my favorite song is the title of the newest album. The reason is because it's the most representative of me, it's the most recent version of myself. Something like that.

4. All right. So, when you write songs, do you ever get bored? Considering you've been doing this for quite a while, what do you do when you get bored?

Yes I have. You mean when I'm bored or stuck (out of ideas), right? I never feel bored while writing songs, but I certainly feel stuck and frustrated. And when I feel that I stop whatever I'm doing and I try to refresh my brain by looking at other things like watching videos, going out of the house, or other things, so that I can see clearly whether I wrote the song correctly.

5. But if we look at Young K, he is also very busy and can always appear energetic. What's the secret? Can you share it with My Day Indonesia?

I'm not always energetic, I also often feel tired, sleepy. But I remember that you're all are watching me so I want to give you more happiness, I want to share my enthusiasm so that you feel happier. And seeing you guys happy makes me happier, so this is a good thing.

6. Then, what can we expect from your performance in Jakarta?

We'll sing together, we'll just have fun. Actually, I expect you all to be there, so when I hear you all I will sing with a happier feeling.

7. Then about the free time you have, do you want to have a pet at home?

Of course. I really like animals and looking after them makes me happy, but I feel self-conscious and less responsible because I'm rarely home. Sometimes I don't even sleep, because when I want to sleep peacefully I have to book a hotel or place to stay close to my performance schedule. So I don't think I can keep a pet for now. If possible, it looks like a puppy.

8. And after this solo tour, is there anything we can look forward to? After this tour? There's definitely a lot more to come, and I'm really looking forward to what I'm going to face. So, stay with me.

Being on tour with your best friends wasn't always easy, there were small fights, drunken mistakes and harmful words that got said, but it was just the pressure they were all under, no one was ever mad at each other for long, it was just the lifestyle catching up to everyone.

No matter how hard things got out on the road you knew there would always be someone you could turn to for help and consolation, and things did get hard being away from your life back home. However, you knew that everyone gets that way and all you can do is support each other.

Loud cheers erupted from the audience as the show came to an end, you had been out on the road with Måneskin for a few weeks and as the tour was coming to the end you couldn't help but smile, thinking about how far they had come not only in the last few months but over the last few years that you had known them.

Every single milestone and achievement made you all the more proud of the four people before you on the stage which you called your family, that's what you had become a close-knit family and you couldn't imagine your life without them.

"Thank you, everybody, we have been Måneskin, goodnight!!" Damiano screams excitedly into the mic as the band begin to leave the stage, you clapped and cheered for them from in front of the stage, but in front of the crowd barrier. Snapping a few pictures of them as they held up their instruments and waved at the crowd, Vic stuck her tongue out at you and leaned into the camera as you took her picture.

After the show, you all made your way back to the hotel you were staying at for those few nights, there was an off day tomorrow so everyone decided that it would be fun to go down to the bar and have a couple of drinks.

Down at the bar, you all raised a glass to the great show they had put on and the successful tour also for good luck in the future. Music played loudly as you all danced together, laughing with one another at the terrible moves coming from each of you, everything was perfect and it was moments like that which made all the fights and upsets worth it.

Swaying your hips to the music you felt someone's arms slip around your waist, looking down you recognise the rings on their hand, It was Thomas and you instantly relaxed into him, moving softly to the music in time with him. Whilst you loved everybody in the band, you and Thomas had a special bond, you just understood each other a lot more deeply than the others.

"Are you okay my love?" turning around to face him in his arms, you met with a slight frown, you hated seeing him like that and would do anything to make him feel better.

"I guess, I just feel...I don't know I think I'm just tired" You could barely hear him over the loud music and the screaming from your friends as they fooled around, picking one another up and throwing them around.

You take Thomas' hand, leading him away from the dancefloor and out the backdoors to the beer garden outside. The atmosphere instantly softened and you could tell he was a bit more relaxed. "What's going on in your head sweet?" the two of you take a seat at one of the tables, he pulls a cigarette out of the pack in his pocket and lights it, he offers you one but you politely decline.

"I'm just so tired of being out here away from home, it's catching up to me now. I just want to wake up and not have to worry about how I'm going to do that night, the pressure is just getting to me y/n." He rests his head on your shoulder, your hands instinctively go to his shaggy blonde hair, he loved when you would play with his hair.

“ I know my lovely, everyone feels like that sometimes It's completely normal you just have to do your best and that's all anyone can expect from you, we'll be home before you know it" Placing a kiss to the top of his head he sighs, putting out his cig he takes your hand in his and plays with the many rings on your fingers. You never wore rings until you started touring with the band, they introduced you to them and would always buy you one as a thank you at the end of every tour- they were so special to you and you made sure to wear them every day for good luck.

"Y/N, I don't want to be at this place anymore, I can barely catch my breath" you knew what he was feeling was social anxiety, you had spent so many times with Thomas backstage just calming him down when he'd work himself up into a panic, it was never a bother to you though you just loved to make him feel comfortable and safe.

" We can go back to the hotel if you want, watch your favourite movie and cuddle?" you suggest, he doesn't say anything but just nods, "I'll just go tell the others, meet you out the front." Getting up, you place another kiss on his head before helping him up and making your way inside, for a minute you struggled to find anyone but you saw Vic by the bar being chatted up by some guy.

"Vic, me and Thomas are going back to his room, I'll see you in the morning" you hug her, Vic had always admired your relationship with Thomas, she knew that no one made him feel like you did, she would often tell you how cute it would be if the two of you were dating. Whilst you liked the idea of being with him, you knew that it was far important just being there for him you wouldn't want to risk everything and then not be able to be there when he needed you the most, so you were okay with just being friends.

“ Don't do anything I wouldn't do girl, have fun" she teased, causing you to roll your eyes everyone in the group would make jokes about how you and Thomas acted like you were already a couple but you paid no mind to it.

Meeting Thomas outside you walked hand in hand down the road, taking in all the sights the city had to offer whilst you made your way back to the hotel you were staying at.

Back in his room, you changed into a comfy shirt of his, whilst he only wore a pair of grey shorts. You couldn't help but think how good he looked in them, those shorts of his were a weakness of yours and he knew that which is why he always wore them around you.

Relaxing on the bed, you lay your head on his chest your arm draped over his lower torso, he had an amazing body and you would often catch yourself sneaking a look whilst the two of you changed together. "what do you want to watch then?" you asked, tracing circles around his 'Må' tattoo, you had been there with him, holding his hand as he got the tattoo done.

"you choose" his voice was soft, you could tell he was tired, so you just put on a film you had seen a bunch of times so you didn't have to pay attention to it, so he could just relax and fall asleep.

"You know, I don't want the tour to end" you could tell something was on his mind. "why's that?" leaning upon your elbows you turn to look him in the eyes, getting lost momentarily in them.

"Because you won't be there" a tear falls from his eyes and you quickly wipe it away, holding his face in your hands.

"aw sweetie, I'll always be there, even if I'm not with you every day, you can always call me" you kiss his cheek, comforting him, wiping away more tears.

" it's not the same, I just want to be with you all the time, you make me feel like nothing else on earth, when I'm with you nothing matters y/n, I don't know how you do it but I don't want it to ever stop" now it was your turn to cry, no one had ever made you feel so special or important in your life and it felt so good to hear those words leave his mouth.

"Oh Thomas, I don't ever want to be without you either, but you know I have a life back home, outside of the band. I'm only a short drive away, you can come to see me whenever you want and whenever you feel sad I'll be there as soon as you call" It broke your heart to see him so vulnerable, but you knew there was nothing you could do, you lived about ten minutes out of Rome, you couldn't afford the city.

"I feel so selfish, I just want you all to myself all of the time. I count down the days to the start of every tour because I know that I'll get to wake up and see you every day, that I get to spend all the time in the world with you, with nothing keeping you from me" He sits up, pulling you into a tight embrace.

"I know sweetheart, I know" Is all you could say, you were choking on your own words, it hurt so much that you couldn't be with him all the time.

"I don't even just mean with me physically, y/n you complete me, you make me a better man and I..." he pauses, wondering if he was really about to say what he was going to say.

"I love you y/n and I know you feel the same way about me, I've just always been too scared to do anything in case I scare you off because I can't bear to lose you" you pull away from the hug to look him in the eyes once more.

"Thomas, I've been in love with you since we first met you have no idea what it means to me to hear you say this" the two of you lean into each other, your lips inches away from his but before anything could happen the door bursts open, causing you to jump away from each other.

"Y/N Dami's been siiiickkkk" Ethan whines, stumbling into the room throwing Damiano down onto the bed beside you. Just like that, you had been snapped out of your cute moment with Thomas and back to the reality of the mother of the group.

"oh dear, let's get you cleaned up shall we?" you get up pulling Damiano up with him and take him to the bathroom, stopping at the door to look over at Thomas who just had the biggest grin on his face that you had ever seen. Even though you had been interrupted you knew that things had changed forever and that you'd have plenty of time to carry the moment on later, running a bath for your drunk friend you couldn't hep but smile too, everything was perfect in that moment and you wouldn't have it any other way.

Are you surprised about any of these lists?

by the most kudos list, not really! I think it's just about the same list as it was last year -- most of those fics were published in 2020 in the height of the last season of agents of shield, so there was a lot of fic being consumed them. may's, while my baby, has also been running for four years, so there's definitely something to be said about accumulating kudos, LOL.

by the least kudos list, not really, although i'm a little sad to see some of them on there. i'm a really big fan of i never meant to be the one and i fall in love with you, especially the latter because i am absolutely screaming about a whole kid jola au

What’s a favorite fic you published this year?

that's a tough one, because i have favorites for different reasons! i have favorite longer shots, favorite angsts, and favorite drabbles. i think at the end of it all, it's probably scuttlebutt squad because of the humor, the dual pov, and just. it's very sapphic. and of course, the group chat format is one i get down with all the time.

How do you feel like you’ve improved as a writer this year?

there's a lot more sapphism in this year than there has been in previous years, first of all. but I think I've really learned how to write in the present tense this year, because there's something about star trek: discovery fics that calls for it? and that odd half-formal tone that comes with writing its characters while they're on duty. as someone who started the year not even thinking she'd venture into star trek, i feel like that's the biggest learning curve I mastered :)

What is something new you did writing-wise in the past year? (new fandom, pairing, setting, genre, collab, etc)

*looks at the 16 keyla detmer/joann owosekun fics I published last year alone* idk it's kind of hard to tell

but it's really writing for star trek: discovery! as someone who started 2021 with a foot halfway out of the fandom/writing fanfic door i'm happy to report i'm lost in the sauce now...again. it's been a challenge, learning to write for a whole new type of universe, but I like to think I'm doing well, LOL.

What is something writing-related you would like to try in the future? (check back at the end of the year and see if you did it!)

Some Genshin events are really enjoyable, but for some some it feels like I have to drag my feet through it. I try to have an optimistic outlook for each event, but the ones that involve fighting are really not my favorite. ^^;;

Yes, I main Aether! To this day he is the strongest out of my characters (although ever since I got Childe he went to second strongest). When I first started playing, I didn't understand the wish system at all so I didn't do it and instead worked hard to build the starter team. ୧ʕ•̀ᴥ•́ʔ୨ I still use them, even in the Spiral Abyss!! And Aether always stays on my team no matter what. :D I can't wait to give him his very first crown! But before that I'd like to stock up on more resources. orz

Ooh, that makes sense! I'd like to think I'm equally good at both roles, but sometimes my clownery manages to impress me. ;;; Despite that, I really do like playing! I'm worried I'll encounter toxic players, so most times I don't talk unless someone else talks. But so far all of my experiences have been pleasant! I hope it's the same for you!

Hopefully there will be a chance for you to get Childe sometime in the future! He really grew on me and I like his character. He's also very fun to write, so maybe that influenced my love for him.

lol yes, I have heard of it! I've been a fan since it first released in Japan. I started playing it recently and it's a lot of fun!! I'd like to write for it, so I'm dusting off old ideas and seeing what I can do with them. I've got solid fic plans for Riddle and Azul so far. Hopefully I can write something for Ace and Deuce because they're a funny pair!)

TGCF donghua Special Episode Thoughts (SPOILERS for episode & novel!)

Favorite moment:

Of COURSE that amazing ending sequence, which is the mirror of Dianxia's backstory at the end of the first episode, except this time from Hua Cheng's point of view. Speaking of, holy mother of YUM, dear gods, Hua Cheng:

Look at this "hideous" man. I am DROOLING.

Funny thing is, I didn't even know his appearance was supposed to be a secret, that we technically hadn't seen his face yet all this time. I remember we had a super quick glimpse of him in the Banyue pit and I thought that was his reveal, that that'll be all we'll get for now and I was fine with that...that is, until this ending sequence happened and we actually see him in his entirety. My eyes will forever never be the same. What was I even thinking??? The flashes in the pit were absolutely inferior to the real thing. No comparison. He is so gorgeous; I can't WAIT for Xie Lian to meet him next season.

Second favorite moment:

What I love about this scene is first of all it features some of my favorite lines from the novel, "If you don't know what to live for, then just live for me. If you don't know the meaning of life, then take me as the meaning your life." Even though Dianxia was playing it up for dramatic effect, I loved how he crawled towards San Lang and then uttered the lines with such conviction. I LOVED the way the music reached a cresendo during his words--hell, I love the music in this entire episode, this entire show, period. I also love how bittersweet this scene is: here Dianxia is so embarrassed by his own words that he even laughs about them, dismisses them, not know just how much of an effect they had on the person he said them to, how they really did serve to motivate that person to live on, to exist, utterly for him. Not knowing at all that that person he said what he now thinks were silly words to is right in front of him. The irony!

I'm still making my way through the book so I haven't gotten to the part where all is revealed to Xie Lian yet, but I can only imagine how shocking and emotional this particular revelation would be. It'll probably be ten years before we get to see all that in the donghua, if we ever do, but I'm gonna keep on crossing my fingers and hoping.

"I swear, whether in Heaven or or on Earth, you cannot find someone more sincere than me". The subs left out the Heaven or Earth part but it's still such a good line. Love also how San Lang precedes that by trying to reach out to touch Dianxia but is like too afraid to. The donghua really captured his feelings of...I guess I'd call it timid inferiority...so well.

I have a strong suspicion what that ring is (irl, I've seen companies advertising turning ashes into diamonds as a keepsake of your loved ones...never tried it so I don't know if it's the real deal or some kind of scam) and I cannot wait to get to that revelation as well. Putting aside the potential significance of this momento, the fact that Hua Cheng left Dianxia a ring to wear around his neck is already a beautiful gesture on its own.

I already miss seeing how San Lang looks adoringly at Xie Lian. In fact, I think I'm going to miss San Lang for quite a while since next season I think we'll be mostly spending time with Hua Cheng. Not complaining at all since Hua Cheng will no doubt look at Dianxia just as adoringly, but I will miss this cute guy.

Also already missing the cuteness that is Dianxia. I love all his expressions...the way he said "San Lang" just made my heart explode. How can he be this adorable??? Really, bravo to Jiang Guangtao-laoshi, his voice actor, for such an endearing voice performance. I actually started listening to the Qiang Jin Jiu audio drama because I've become a fan. Imagine Xie Lian being super seductive all the time. That's the ear candy I'm enjoying now, even though I only understand like less than half of the plot due to my shoddy Chinese comprehension.

Proud of how San Lang didn't just lose it when Dianxia cradled his face like that. This man really has unbelievable self control.

I loved that they were chatting in bed like an old married couple. I'm sure this is a glimpse into their future married life. 😁

Besides SanLian, I know Banyue was in this episode as well, I still think she's adorable and love her voice, and I'm glad she gets to enjoy a torture-free life now (I am assuming she does).

I'm glad we got this special episode to really close out the season, but I'm still kinda confused as to why we didn't get it at the actual end of the season but rather as an odd stand alone episode like this. Obviously it picked up right where the 11th episode left off, so it would've slotted in perfectly well. I was hoping the reason they held on to it was because they were going to attach a teaser PV for the next season, but alas that wasn't the case. I wonder if they just needed more time to finish the episode. I still don't quite understand how the Chinese donghua industry works: for something seemingly as popular as TGCF, you would think they'd have good enough budget and resources to finish episodes in time and to make more than just 12 episodes. There are other donghua shows I've seen on Bilibili that have blown way past 12 episodes, so I don't understand why they have to stubbornly stick to a dozen only for something like TGCF. Or is it a danmei thing, I wonder. They just don't want to devote the time and resources to danmei shows beyond just 12 episodes? So weird. Again, VERY GRATEFUL we're getting a second season. SINCERELY praying that we get many more seasons after so that eventually they'll finish out the book. God I hope I finish reading before the donghua team finishes putting out the show.

And that brings me to: Current Reading Progress...chapter 160. Look, I'm gonna be honest, I'm just not a fan of the whole jinx demon concept or the Brocade Immortal. I know all mysteries of the week lead back to the gods and their backstory, but as CONCEPTS, I was just NOT into them so I constantly got distracted. I know MXTX-laoshi was under a LOT of pressure from both censorship and just ridiculous deadlines (I was told she had to produce a chapter a day, which is INSANE), so I feel like a douchebag for even thinking anything negative about the book...not to mention I'm only on Book 3 still so maybe all of this will be wrapped up nicely at the end. But for now, yeah, those two as ideas are a bit underwhelming and almost silly (especially the Brocade Immortal) and maybe I don't need the backstory of ALL the gods. Anyway, before anyone yells at me, there's always a chance I might change my mind about all this by the end...which I hope to get to soon. Didn't finish the book in time for this special episode which was my goal, so readjusting the goalpost back a little further...hopefully just a tad...like a few weeks, because I DO want to get to the unrelenting pain soon so that I can get through the suffering and finally to the HuaLian happily ever after ending.
