ok but literally the worst thing spn did imo is the angels falling at the end of s8. I hated it so much. I hated it. I watched up to season TWELVE ONLY because I was hoping they would fix it but they didn't because the writers didn't even have a good idea for getting out of that situation so they just basically left it alone. It was horrible. Castiel you didn't deserve all of that, they used you so they could have a dramatic season finale and nothing else

Tbh I feel kind of bad. I know it probably doesn’t come off as that. Considering how much I went off on them, but I do.

And it’s not that I feel bad for revealing her as the terrible person she is. Because she deserves that and she obviously doesn’t care because I happen to know she is still using her accounts like nothing has happened. Even messaging some of the blogs of mods from the discord she was banned from to ask if she can roleplay with them - like they weren’t present and aren’t fully aware of the situation and who she is.

It’s more I feel bad that I’m causing drama in the twst rp community? Because I really do just want to have fun and rp Che’nya.

But this mod was really making it not fun for me and several others. If it was just me, I could have kept ignoring them, honestly. I didn’t interact with them enough for me to do all this.

Yes, I hated they were over-saturating the twst rp community with their blogs (them having 11 is absolutely ridiculous) but I could just leave it. Whatever. They weren’t making characters connected to Che’nya. But they were stressing out and hurting my friends.

And so I finally just… snapped.

And I’m hoping making such a big deal out of this - making such a loud noise, such a huge callout - will just make sure that this drama both starts and ENDS quickly.

I just want to go back to having fun with all of you roleplaying the mad eldritch horror, self-aware Cheshire Cat that gets his head stuck in teapots and bends reality to his will… but only sometimes because other times it’s funnier not to.

So, I’m hoping now that me and the others that joined in finally broke down and made the callout post about her, we can get back to that sooner rather than later.

But thank you for your kind words. It is what it is. It’s the internet! Toxic people are kind of par for the course.

I’m just happy that, for the most part? I’ve really only had great experiences on here as Che’nya. 💜

i feel like if team amazon lost in ‘i see london’ instead of team chris (which they should’ve, btw), the plot would be more interesting.

alejandro is mad about the things noah said about him, and is now hellbent on trying to get him eliminated.

he knows that noah doesn’t trust him, so manipulating him would be pointless, but he also knows that noah and owen have an unbreakable friendship, and that owen is gullible as shit, so he could easily turn owen against noah, throw the next challenge while sabotaging noah, and boom! an interesting noah elimination that makes MUCH more sense than just making team chris lose for no reason.

also, having amazon eliminate a player and replace the player with duncan would still be interesting, and you could still do the gwuncan/duncney plot (and it might turn out more interesting since they’d all be on the same team)

i dunno though, those are just my thoughts

been stalking the cherik fandom for a few months now and have concluded that while I will rewatch the movies over and over, go through the entire tag on ao3, maybe draw some art and love them dearly, I do not want to get involved in the fandom whatsoever because it seems like majority of the time it's just people arguing whether Erik or Charles was wrong and hating on the opposition

All those articles and posts about "the best show that no one is watching" kinda miss the big picture. Iwtv is the most popular show on amc, as they say every single time I open the app. The problem is that amc is a late game streaming service with almost nothing enticing on it. The only reason my dad is considering getting it after I stop my very brief subscription is to watch Mad Men.

I pirated season 1 and now I have the dvd so they don't have my statistics when I rewatch. I plan to get the dvd for this season too but if the show is unpopular it is mostly because it is on one of those streaming services where things go to die. They made a good decision by allowing season 1 to be available on HBO and you can watch ep1 for free on prime but HBO is also one of the most expensive streaming services out there and that one episode teaser doesn't properly display what the show is

If it was on prime like good omens or Hulu like Buffy and wwdits it would probably be a lot more popular. It relies entirely on word of mouth and most people I know pirate it (or use my login)

Do you think the fandom is too hard on Sky?

Mmm, no and yes?

I think people have a lot of good reasons to hate or just kinda dislike Sky. Even if you ignore the Diaspro situation, he has a lot of moments where he just... isn't great (to say the absolute least). Spying on Bloom, immediately assuming she's going to cheat or leave him, directly saying she can't hang out with other guys, implying that he can't trust Brandon, making fun of Stella, literally everything he says to Riven. And I mean that's like the major stuff off the top of my head yknow? Sky just isn't a great person and while he does get called out, it's never in a way that would actually make him change his behavior.

However, I think people also exaggerate his actions and intentions a lot. Instead of recognizing that Sky has practically no control over his life and that he couldn't just break up with Diaspro or tell Bloom the truth, a lot of people make him out to be some serial cheater that always intended to cheat on Diaspro or lie to random girls about his identity. Or when people think he's the worst friend ever because he occasionally doesn't trust people when his entire life he's been at risk of assassination and people getting close to him to yknow. kill him. Like no, implying that Brandon is a spy or that Riven wants to murder people isn't cool. But he's also only like that because there's a history of people trying to kill him, not because he just hates everyone.

Listen, I'm not saying that Sky is a good person or that his actions are justified OR that he's a horrible person who deserves a shit ton of hate. But I think the fandom in general tends to go with very absolutist claims when it comes to Sky. It's either he's the worst character ever and deserves to die or he's a misunderstood baby who's better than Riven. It's literally always one of those two - no in between. Imo, there are reasons to dislike Sky but the fandom also heavily exaggerates the reasons and makes him out to be much worse than he actually is. And on the other side, it's also annoying when people completely ignore all of his faults just to make him look better. He's just as complex and nuanced as the rest of the characters and acting like he's either 100% Evil or 100% Innocent is never fun (for him or any other character).

(i didn't really know how to fit this in but I think a lot of sky discourse also comes from riven stans which makes the situation so much worse. like it's never a fun discussion or debate, it's always just "well he was mean to riven so he deserves to die actually" which then makes riven antis foam at the mouth so they start to defend sky Exclusively to make riven look bad, not because they actually like sky. it's a mess man)
