I'm just. Insane over the emotion poured into the live version of AKAA. I didn't expect this song to hit me so hard but Shun Horie really packed it with even more sadness and desperation than the original, and it was the death of me. My favorite part of the song has always been the "mama" section, and the fact that he sounds like he's crying through it??? The two held-out screams at the end????

And the visuals make me equally crazy. The fact that he committed to the blue hair and full outfit makes it really feel like Haruka is there on stage. It really got to me realizing this was his dream come true. He's the center of attention. He's under the spotlight. Finally. He has a huge crowd watching him, looking at him, cheering for him, loving him. He looks so small surrounded by all those people. He looks out to them in disbelief, in pleading.

Why did you choose your url?

CuriousB was the username I made up on the spur of the moment when I first joined GoS, all those millennia ago (there’s a story behind the name, but I’ll leave that for another day), and it became my go-to Sims-related username. I wanted to be recognisable as the same entity on Tumblr, so I recycled the name once again.

How long have you been on tumblr?

Ooh, I don’t know, about ten years? I had a hiatus of about four years in the middle there though.

Good grief no, I’m not a planner by any means!

Why did you start your blog in the first place?

Because all the cool kids were here.

It’s a very old shot of a long-gone Sim, but I like her expression, and her wild, pink hair.

Under construction

I haven’t done much actual playing lately, as I’ve been on a bit of a building spree instead! (And experiencing my share of pink soup, for some reason.)

Firstly, Merybury has some new luxury waterside residences, just next door to Lydia and Henry’s beach house - so they’ll no longer enjoy their uninterrupted views of Lake Merymere (or the seclusion of their hot tub). These were very much inspired by @vimpse​ (here).

I really like the little turrety roof over the bay window, but unfortunately it doesn’t ‘cancel out’ the roof beneath it, like regular roofs do.

This is Wreckers’ Cove beach bar, newly opened on Twikkii Island. I’m afraid there’s a lot of pic-spam, as I’m a little in love with it!

1. Why did you choose your url?

short version: i used it on another site before. long version: one time, when i was really bored at school, i doodled some animals and everything felt normal, but then i realized the animal i doodled wasn't a regular animal but a sheep - snail hybrid - a schnaf in german, if you will. a few days later, i decided to make a new account on my first (and up to that point only) fanfic site because after one year, i felt like i needed a new start. but it felt rather temporary - i left the old account after not that long either and i thought i'd stay on the new account even shorter. so i just picked a random name - the animal i came up with a few days before. joke's on me, it became my identity.

2. Any side blogs?

yeah, i have a football side blog where i posted pics i took at matches, i have a side blog for a former fandom but i lost interest in it as soon as i created the side blog so... sorry, no new side blogs for fandom, i'm a one blog mess once again ♥ also several shared blogs for projects and stuff

3. How long have you been on Tumblr?

i deserve senior discount and stuff, it's been a bit over 11 years now

i once used a word, then i used q, then i decided to just let people know EVERYTHING is on queue here. also if i'm actually online and posting... no i'm not ♥

a friend of mine had tumblr and she always sent me posts of cute animals and footballers and one day i was like "ah imma join the source" - again, it didn't feel like a big decision and i didn't think it'd last that long

it's a sernando gifset 😭😭 a friend back then was like "oh there was a sernando moment right now" so i looked it up immediately and was like "you know what? imma make a gifset right away" and it still gets notes nowaday, even though it was such a short moment and rather low effort

the good old "reblog this or you're a shitty person" stuff sucked, but it almost died out? it got a little revival through the polls tho. currently, there are those instructions how to be a good blogger and how to avoid looking like a bot and it's like reblog stuff!!!! and oof. i mean it's valid but it's pretty annoying. also i don't want people to reblog stuff bcs they feel like they have to - they should do it on their own will. for example, sometimes, i feel like network people only reblog each others post and compliment each other because they have to (or feel like they have to) and oof that's pretty annoying. but 🐸☕

16. Do you like tag games?

it may not look like it because it takes me such a long time to answer them, but there's a reason why i keep them in my likes and answer them even after a long time ♥ so yesss!

Why did you choose your URL? – My mom always called me her dandeolion child because I always picked her bouquets of dandeolions for her. She always put them in a vase like they were the most beautiful flowers she'd ever received. Since she passed away I still use the nickname she gave me. The 240 was added because Dandylion was actually taken.

Why did you start your blog in the first place? Hmm if I remember right I started it because a I joined a BC that a friend had started on here and I wanted to keep up with the sim I had entered. After that it opened up a whole new world of CC and sim stories. I had no idea there was such a thing as simblr

Why did you choose your icon/pfp? Currently it's because I love the picture and it's my favorite family. My Icon pic changes periodically so who knows how long it'll be the same.

Why did you choose your header? Hmm I think it's based upon which stories I'm most invested in. It may change.

What’s your post with the most notes? Generally my posts get very few notes so I think it was a failed BC entry. A sim you will never see again.

How many mutuals do you have? Hmm if I counted right there are like 200 but out of those there are inactive ones and those who followed but never interact with my posts. So like maybe 20 actually interact with me if I'm lucky.

How many followers do you have? 701 followers which sounds like a lot but most aren't active or interactive.

How many people do you follow? 319 but that also includes nonsimblrs as well.

Have you ever made a shitpost? maybe. Not really sure what makes a post a shitpost.

How often do you use tumblr each day? periodically. I'll check my favorite blogs on my work breaks. It's always up but if I'm busy I know I miss things and it takes me a while catch up.

Did you have a fight/argument with another blog once? who won? Hmm I don't think so. I've had some individuals that I've disagreed with and we no longer follow each other. I don't see the need to air grievances and make everyone take sides. Handle the situation quietly and move on.

Do you like tag games? Yes I do especially when I have time to do them. Not so much when I get behind. Once I get behind I sometimes delete the oldest ones unfortunately. I try not to get behind but it all depends upon what's going on in IRL

Do you like ask games? I love ask games but it seems like not many ask and it's kind of depressing to not get any asks. So I've found I don't reblog that many anymore, plus I sometimes don't have enough time to answer them like I used to. I try to send asks if I see others reblogging them. I know how much it means to get them.

1. Why Did You Choose Your URL?

I first started with seduce me I believe, but then I added lovestruck, and then I added Arcana bc I was now in those communities! I wanted people to know I write for those three fandoms (and a few others with my other blogs) and that I post content for them!! I was just tryna get out there and still am.

@kingdomhearts-and-soriku-trash is my Kingdom Hearts blog. I made this one so I can post about my Sora x Riku thoughts and feelings 24/7, write about them, and reblog about them without getting things confusing on my actual blog.

@the-choices-loser is my Choices blog. I haven't used it in WAAAAY too long, but it exists.

My third blog is @cullens-babe which is meant for Dragon Age!! I made it so I can talk about me playing DAI and the other games and just rambling about my pairs and writing ideas for those games!!

I chose it because it's an edit of mine. I was in to making edits, and I still am, but I haven't made one in awhile. But!! On computer, my header is just pink clouds and I chose that bc I just like pink clouds.
