Can people stop using canon jiang cheng tag for pro jiang cheng content. the two of you sleep like someone tried to rob you in the middle of the night. sheets scattered, pillows on the floor, and the two of you lost in limbs and hair as your foreheads are pressed together. tomas barged in one morning to ask bi-han for something, and legitimately thought you'd both been murdered by the state of your bedroom. it took you scream laughing and bi-han throwing a lamp from his nightstand for tomas to realize you two were very much alive.

(you definitely wacked bi-han in the face and told him to apologize for throwing a lamp at his brother, to which he begrudgingly did)

you'll say something outta pocket, laugh in his face when bi-han orders you to do something, and he'll scowl at you, growl, then kiss you on the forehead and walk away. it never ceases to shock you, you're literally standing there frozen (hehe) no thoughts going through your mind, but that quickly turns into giggling and blushing. bi-han adores forehead kisses, and it's one of the few times he can get back at you and leave you flabbergasted.

Hello, do you have any marauders fic recs? I’m a big marauders fan but I’m so tired of reading fics where they feel completely out of character, and I feel like you might know something I don’t

Aw man I’m the wrong person to ask for this, I don’t really read fics very often lol. I’ll try to enlist the help of some people whose Marauders opinions I trust and who might have better recs than me (tbh I’m also curious to hear), but I’ll share the few that I’ve come across, too. Apologies if you've already read them.

I think my most relevant rec is The Night Will Always Win by betweenfactandbreakfast, which is a canon-compliant Marauders era fic from 1975-1981. Admittedly I haven’t finished it – tbh I liked it so much that I had to stop reading it, which sounds so incredibly dumb now that I wrote it out, but I was legitimately getting pissed off that I had to do things in real life instead of reading it lmao. Time to take a step back...! Either way, I’ve really enjoyed it so far. And I’ve seen @seriousbrat's inbox turn into a battleground of endless Snape vs. Marauders discourse, so I know their feelings on the characters are pretty similar to mine lol (and hiii I know you have been in this fandom for much longer than I have, so maybe you have some good recommendations?). Basically this is a good fic if you want everyone to be a terrible person <3

The other fic I can rec is Have Your Cake and Eat It by cunegonde, aka my favorite fic of all time (that I could scream about literally foreverrrr but I’ll try to reel myself in!). This is a good fic if you want everyone to be a good person. Also this fic has time travel in it, so it’s like, kind of Marauders era, but not quite? Even though it’s kind of cliche, it’s also incredibly earnest and thoughtfully done, and it has interesting (and imo, realistic!) characterizations of each of the Marauders. Tbf I’m definitely biased toward this author’s work because they basically only write Snupin (my personal fave pairing), but reading their stuff is like, genuinely why are you writing Harry Potter fanfiction and not a full-length original novel, because holy fuck I think you could actually pull that off. Like, I loved this fic so much that I (person who doesn't read fanfic) immediately read everything else they wrote and finished it all in two days... Also this fic made me cry for literally an hour straight (probably the strongest emotional reaction I’ve had to any piece of media ever lol) – even though I knew what was coming. It was just that good.

Unfortunately that’s literally all I got lol. I’m going to tag some people who I think have similar takes on the Marauders as I do – @seriousbrat @remus-poopin @big-scary-bird @saintsenara – hiii, add on if you’d like. General Gabriel and V1 Headcanons- 2!!!

Can be seen as platonic or romantic, your choice lol

V1’s optic is bright, sometimes shines it directly in Gabriel’s eyes to annoy him, it’s a great night light though

Gabriel is learning how to cook, sometimes finds dried spices while scavenging the surface and brings them home, especially likes trout (yummy) and PITR fish (polite), V1 is not allowed to help in the kitchen, it would 100% burn down their base

Both like stargazing, but sometimes it makes Gabriel miss heaven, he knows all the constellations and teaches V1 them

V1 can’t fucking stay still, says something about a “style meter,” but Gabriel never understands what that’s all about

(inspired by a comic I saw) Gabriel hates the limbo layer because he flew into one of the hologram walls lmao, V1 must never know of this

Both like to visit the ferryman often, she always offers them a room to stay, she has a hampster named "blorp" (V1 and Gabriel's hampster is named florp) that goes missing a lot but always comes back, V1 once had to use slam storage to reach blorp's hiding spot, blorp and florp do not get along :( , they will scrongle each other

V1 really likes finding hats, it starts a collection and tries them out on KITR, she makes an excellent model, florp just likes to sit in the hats, they're comfy

Using scrap from other machines, V1 makes a new arm specifically designed to pet KITR

Gabriel has a knack for taking what V1 calls “birdbaths,” he just splashes his wings around in a pond, tries to do this alone because it makes him embarrassed lol

Gabriel also likes to draw, still working on proportions but loves to sketch V1 and the pets

Gabe feels very guilty over all his kills, but especially over minos, he wonders what lust could've been if minos was allowed to continue his reign, V1 also feels guilty after killing minos in his prime form

Gabriel is legitimately afraid of sisyphus prime and has no idea how V1 defeated him, honestly V1 doesn't know either

Neither had seen snow before, V1 loves pelting Gabriel with snowballs using its many arms, Gabriel does not like this lol

While sparring, both enjoy adding a little bit of flourish to their attacks, making it a deadly dance of blade and artillery

The ferryman actually bested Gabriel in combat once, though that may or may not be because he has a soft soft for her

Gabriel is scared of spiders, he needs V1 to squash them for him, will scream if one is spotted, he's also scared of the mannequins in the violence layer (fair), their skittering reminds him of spiders

The hot sun of the greed layer makes both V1 and Gabriel hate going there, it heats up their armor/metal plating, V1 also hates sand, it gets stuck in their joints

(Not to mention he enjoys card tricks. He's also good at perceiving sleight of hand and other "magic" that involves showing someone what you want them to see, instead of showing them the truth and mechanisms behind the magic.)

Instead of playing games or trying to snoop his way into your secrets, he just observes you.

He's skilled at sitting back and watching, waiting, picking up pieces and fitting them together.

You catch him by surprise, however, when you call him out on his behavior.

"Vyn, am I your patient or your friend?" You pout at him and fold your arms over your chest in a highly exaggerated manner, one that is almost comical in nature. You shift back into chuckles and spin around as you wait for his answer.

Your one moment of frustration could easily be brushed off as a joke, but Vyn hears there is actual hurt in your words.

"You are... quite the anomaly," he replies at last. "You wear both the masks of comedy and tragedy. I couldn't help but wonder which was your real face." He leans closer and whispers, "I want to see my friend's true face, beneath all the masks and pretenses. Is that so wrong, dear?"

hi yall im finally posting my account of seeing onf in chicago!!!! its only like 4 days late... like i said best day ever!!! below are all my notes + a bunch of photos, please forgive what i look like lol but i was so happy :)

for those that know me, know this was a HUGE deal. so of course this is going to be very long and detailed. luckily for most of my followers ill be putting it under a readmore <3

so i bought the highest tier ticket for obvious reasons, so ill just so chronologically:

first was sound check and they did ugly dance and i could NOT believe i was seeing onf in the flesh. im pretty sure i died and went to heaven then and there

once they were done with soundcheck, they did the hi-touch and group photo. the actual practice was messy but it was fun so i don't think people minded. i dont remember anything except that for whatever reason, i was legitimately the FIRST PERSON and it was a lot lmao

additionally during the group photo i had wyatt to myself lol i froze for a second but he was so kind and polite, he asked what pose i wanted to do and i dont remember if i responded or not but we did a little heart together <3

then the fansign happened and i dont remember the majority of it, partly bc i was a flustered idiot lol but i got my complete album signed!!!! life goal met for sure. wyatt i remember specifically thinking again how kind and polite he was, idr seungjun/etion but i got to hyojin and he had his hand up kind of for a highfive and i gave him the album and tried to high five at the same time it was. very awkward LOL he thought it was funny (i hope) then yuto complimented my kitty cat ears!!! i remember saying something stupid and being an idiot in front of minkyun too but. what can we do

finally was the long anticipated fanchat!!! i had my fanchat with yuto obviously and it was nerve wracking as hell but i love him so much i powered through and i hope he got something out of our conversation

the photo that we took & he signed was my best one of the night, so im really happy with how that turned out. its going to be my treasure for a long time to come:

anyway first thing i want to note is that we were sitting at high tables for the talk, but he couldnt even sit without the table dwarfing him so he stood the whole time LMAO my short king i love him so much

so after we took the photo i sat down and honestly im not sure how much he understood the first half, bc he didnt react/respond and he was slightly confused about english in the 2nd half but ANYWAY i told him i was so so proud of him, how far he's come and especially weathering the time of being alone during military era... lots of gushy stuff lol

then i asked him what b-side he liked dancing to the most and he was SO CUTE when he cocked his head and went "b-side?" so it took a moment to get my point across and he was like ohhhh, umm fly me to the moon! and i almost made a total fool of myself reacting LOL bc as some of you know, fly me to the moon is literally my favorite ONF b-side. of all time. and partly due to yuto's center dance break with the saxophone.

yuto was confused but excited when i reacted (like i audibly gasped) and i said omg thats my favorite too!!! and he got so happy and i even proved it further being like, *points to u* dance break center! saxophone! and he nodded a bunch and was so excited lmao

i think he was also surprised at being a favorite, especially when he asked me when i became a fan and i said end of 2017 (which was true i was a fan, but became a stan in jan of 2019) and he seemed impressed! then our chat had ended there and i almost passed out afterwards haha

then we all had to leave the venue again before the concert started. i met a lot of really cool people that day so some of us went across the street to dunkin. had fun lmao

the concert started and my GOD minkyun's mic was on!!!!! and how does he always have so much energy??? also i had the lightstick and was having the time of my life screaming along lol they were fantastic incredible showstopping etc etc i tried to take some videos but i was just vibing (and shaking) too much i had to give up. but it was so nice to finally go to a concert that i had the lightstick for

went into the concert with solid 3rd bias (etion) and came out of it 3rd bias as seungjun lol. theres a lot to talk about song-wise but ill save that for later. in short, i almost cried when they did bye my monster. and tmwl. and byubyu.

also elle i did record asteroid for you (not that its a good video, or one that ill share...) but it did remind me of you lol! they did difficult & moscow moscow which were both surprises to me but very welcome. all day as well was fantastic!

about halfway thru the concert (but not the ballad section) i had given up on videos so i was just rocking out w the lightstick & i pretended to hit hyojins high note with the lightstick as a microphone until someone that i met nudged me & looked up to see seungjun staring at me

it was sooo funny the facial expression he was making. i cant even describe it but once we made eye contact it was like he smiled slowly literally like the grinch and went 'hehe' to make sure i knew he saw me doing that LOL

so i knew i had to get a snapshot with him that showcased the lightstick:

theres so much more about the concert but its all mainly about the songs & the fact i finally saw them live. but i do need to mention the fact goosebumps was practically a rave lmao loved it

after the concert was the group photo selfie which was really cool but would be better if my phones camera wasnt absolute shit & they did a more flattering angle...

dont let this photo fool you, they are short kings (im as tall or taller than multiple of them, minkyun & wyatt are the only ones i remember being taller than me. wyatt was surprising)

i didnt really say anything memorable during snapshots bc i was just so star-struck, but i do remember wyatt going out of his way to be nice lol also i saw yuto multiple times & i was sooo mad there was only a few of us that bought premium snapshot for him. i also got along well with minkyun and highfived him again. i let most of the members choose their poses. yes i got multiple mks. yes i made him do cat ears.

anyway tl;dr best day of my life, its only downhill from here! unless they announce another tour... we shall see... im so glad they're getting so much love from fuse, i know we (both onf and fuses) have been waiting for a long time

im also very happy that there really is no reason NOT to have overseas tours... we've already beat the 7 year curse & completed military. the world is onf's oyster and i cant wait to see what they do going forward <3

Adding onto the AoC idea, the Chain ending up in the actual AoC universe (rather than just the same era from his own past) and Wild going to explain that look! baby him!, only to realise that this is some weird parallel version of his world where things just aren't quite the same (his own mildly tragic backstory, tampered with? An outrage?) And so he abandons Mission Explain Self entirely just to figure out how this version of him won the first time around

It takes a while of madly sprinting around playing tragic charades (and Wild internally screeching because why is sign just slightly different enough here that communication is still a struggle???) to figure out the key differences between their worlds:

1. Age didn't find the Master Sword in AoC until he was an adult, days before the Calamity and after all the Champions were chosen (Wild freaks out because how did Age miss it??? It was yelling at him for weeks from that random scary forest when he was 12???)

2. Zelda never hated Link because he didn't have the sword until they were already basically friends (Wild is visibly offended Age never had to deal with this too but also happy they could be friends immediately)

3. EVERYONE IS ALIVE??? (Wild starts sobbing as soon as he sees one of the champions. He seriously considers murdering the King. The Chain is Concerned)

4. (Optional angst) Guardians

5. (Optional angst pt. 2) It's only when they're leaving, literally stepping through the portal, that Wild realises there's probably also an ancient Ganondorf sealed away under Hyrule here, too. It's too late to warn them by then, even if he could communicate effectively, so once through to the other side he ends up just praying to whoever will listen that the other stories of Ganon are true, the ones where the Calamity is just an echo of a king long dead, from the era of the Hero of Time (he doesn't scream after praying for once and now the Chain is even more worried)

Sorry for the long ask! The differences in canon between BotW's backstory and AoC's fascinate me because it isn't even a regular timeline split, Terrako really was just out here creating weird alternate realities with the perfect new backstory that would make his mission work (and let the devs make a cool Master Sword cutscene they wouldn't be able to do with the actual BotW backstory without flashbacks to even tinier Link lmao. I can and will talk about the time travel in this series for way too long if anyone lets me).

Age never had to deal with the level of pressure Wild did as a result, and everyone was just way nicer to each other because they all had each other from the beginning of this little adventure for support (ignoring the ten years before that where Zelda was Struggling, her dad still sucks)

Also of course you can use the screaming after praying thing if you like! -Farosh :D

Age is seventeen, I reckon, and in comparison to Wild, is tiny. Even though he is a legitimate, fully fledged Hero in his own right, Wild goes out of his way to protect him, to the extent that it almost starts to chafe.

Still, Age can't bring himself to be mad when he finally starts to understand Wild and gets to know him better. Here is this Random Cat Boi who just is weirdly delighted that he didn't draw the sword until (in his opinion) it was almost too late? That he is just so happy that Age is friends with Zelda? And he looks at the Champions like they're walking miracles?

He'd almost be embarrassed if he wasn't so fond of Wild and if he wasn't so very good to him. He figures that Wild must be from the Sheikah Golden Age, given how much he knows about their technology - although it's more than a little alarming to see how violently he reacts when he sees a guardian.

(Age notices how Wild's hand drifts to the scars on his chest as it patrols past him and wonders if they could have lost control of their armies in the ancient times, if they could have turned against their hero)

(He doesn't bring it up because he's not rude, but he does go out of his way to quietly make sure Wild doesn't have to see the guardians (which is hard because Wild seems determined to show him all the best ways to kill one (they manage)))

As they leave Wild begins to pray harder than he ever has prayed before, begging the goddess to protect Age, to keep him safe. The Chain don't know how to respond to his sudden change in demeanour, but Wild just finishes his prayer and moves on.

A few months later they end up back in Age's era and he immediately runs up to greet Wild, pulling him into a huge hug. "Thank you!" he whispers into his ear.

Turns out that in his panic as he left through the portal, he turned around and managed to knock something over. Something old and ancient, and it revealed a passage. A passage into an old room full of a lot of tablets in ancient Zonai tablets. Enough for them to piece together what is underneath the castle, to prepare and to destroy it before it can hope to rise again.

And somehow, although it is an accident, Age knows that it is nothing short of divine intervention, and knows that Wild is behind it.
