OK THE PULLS WERE SUCCESSFUL, but now I m stressing about my guaranteed Caleb aaaaa, okay, so it went like this. I lost my 50/50 to Xavier card, which is good because I love Xavier, so I started pulling for Rafayel and I got him early lol, after like 10-20 pulls. I accomplished my goal so I was done, butttt after I saw Rafayel’s outfit I was like, ooo I want that, so I had to pull 20 more to get it, so now I got everything that I wanted but my 14,000 gems are now 5,000, which is good but my guaranteed for Caleb is out of the window, I have more time to save so it’s finneee.

Okay I tackled only the surface of Togainu No Chi, since I just finished Motomi’s route and so far the game is not as fucked up as heard people say. Although it’s just the beginning, so…I am gonna assure myself the full story is not what is seems right now, but a little blurb about the route.

MOTOMI’S ROUTE SPOILERS

I must say, again, similarly to Slow Damage issue, nitro-chiral could have had an appropriate age gap relationship if they wanted to. As much as I want to love Motomi as an individual, since his route is a little more philosophical, meaningful conversations about grappling with grievienace, discussions about religion, and just life lessons in general. I was pleasantly surprised and I really, really loved the approach that they took with him, but the relationship with Akira is just such a miss. As a separate character Motomi is great he is sincere, attentive, also very consensual , but these weird ass additions of him comparing, saying and seeing Akira as his deceased son it’s just so vile to me. it’s literally giving me flashbacks to how Taku always said he knew Towa as a child and kept having this pressuring duty because he saw him as a kid. Since the whole Motomi’s confession, saying that he tried to refrain himself from doing anything about him because he saw his son in him is just…😐 YIKES. Not only that their dynamic was so off, like Motomi has seen so much, while Akira is inexperienced, to the point of cluelessness towards the consequences of his actions. In my opinion, games should have routes about platonic relationships and this would have been great with Motomi, having him as fatherly figure can be healthy for Akira without it being romantic. ALSO what I found quite funny is how both Taku and Motomi were doing some research for government. If I remember correctly, Taku was developing drugs because he was threatened, and these drugs were one of the essential sub plots to that villain guy who was giving it to civilians. But in Motomi’s case (I haven’t finished the game yet so these are speculations, partially) it’s seems that because he was doing research on those kids, maybe Akira and Nano were like created to be an essential tool in driving the citizens to violence, like how nano is doing it right now with drugs. But who the fucks knows, I haven’t finished the game, can’t say, but yes. Conclusively, I must say I think I am liking this story better than Sweet Pool, Sweet Pool’s story was so anticlimactic,I like the build up of Togainu No Chi much more.

I know doctor’s pedophilic notions were heavily implied in his route but why did I only just looked at the ages of Madarame and Towa?!?!?Towa was like 16 and Madarame was 29 when they actually talked and slept together, bro what is wrong with nitro chiral age gaps, jesus😭 I m telling ya I was sleeping on that Madarame route, I hated it a lot so I probably didn’t even comprehend the stuff they were saying.

Wait wait wait I started playing Togainu No Chi lost blood and I just realized that the character that I wanted to play it for is not even there T_T. The thing is after playing Slow Damage I listened to the nitro chiral’s soundtracks bc, Slow Damage music is soooo good and I stumbled on “Break the Chains” , sooo I m like half-way through Togainu No Chi wondering where the ginger guy is from the cover. So imagine my surprise when I did the research and figured out that there ps2 version that is called true blood which similar but w that character.

GUYS I THINK I sort of COOKED ON MY ASSIGNMENT. I am so happy I chose to compare existential crisis in Hamlet to No longer Human, likeee I loooved writing about these two.

We are doing Hamlet and my English teacher showed us a clip of David Tennant reenacting one of the first soliloquy. After that she was like, he is a famous actor blah blah, as she was trying to remember the shows that he has been in. Since, she was completely blanking on it and someone in my class screamed Good Omens, and she was like “YES! Good Omens, my daughter loves that show” and now she has been continuously playing clips of David Tennant’s acting in Hamlet. Literally LOVE my English teacher.
