Reading loz/lu fics and it's just so interesting how wide the spectrum is of their personalities.

Sometimes it's got an in universe reason (different past (usually gender or species change), recent or ongoing traumatic events, a spectacularly bad first meeting), but sometimes (often) the characters are just... Weirdly angsty or peppy, there's no in between!

And I'm beginning to think less people have played more than one game than I thought XD.

Not that it's anyone's fault! One game is more than enough to be part of it all, and loz is exclusive to Nintendo consoles - and all the older stuff is frustratingly hard to get hold of. Heck, I'm still looking for wind waker, and that was really popular! And then you have to play it! They're not small games!!

But could people writing wild please ease off just a tiiiiiny bit so he can be a semi functional member of society pretty please XD? He's just as much a polite boy as any other member of the chain! He won't even run in shops! He can't attack npcs! He talks to every single person he's ever seen and remembers every single name. Yes, Arya does indeed like flowers. Sansa also likes flowers. Most people like flowers in some capacity. It's not some super-special hyper-individualist personality trait, lmao.

(In my opinion, Arya cataloging the different species of flower she sees on the Kingsroad & being willing to get dirty picking flowers for Eddard is mostly about her inherent connection to & comfort within nature. Arya paid attention to the flowers, yes, but she also paid attention to the animals & the trees & the mud. She’s the Maiden of the Tree. But Arya's connections to these other parts of nature are rarely emphasized the way her connection to flowers is, because they can't be used to over-state her femininity. It's extremely obvious that's what's happening here & I hate hate hate it.)

y’all I have never fallen in love so hard with a horror game before, still wakes the deep is so GOOD. It’s full of heart and meaning and it’s so spooky and chilling. Caz wants to go home to his family but he can’t because he’s trying to keep them safe because he loves them! His best friend he tries to keep safe because he loves him!! (do NOT talk to me about Roy’s death it’s so tragic. He didn’t even get killed by the monster, it was entirely preventable. his insulin was just a couple meters away. He could’ve walked but no he couldn’t because the creatures. He was a good man, caz loved him, ye hear??!!!) Caz loved the crew, he tried to save everyone he could! He wanted to save gibbo, (one of the most tragic monsters to me, I think he had most of his mind left but didn’t understand it) I just ahkrhandksjdk. So good. I just revisited the MLB fandom almost 2 years later if not more I think and wow I can't get over how differently I feel about marichat (my absolute otp when I was younger, used to be incredibly bored by the other sides of the love square). Like, it's not a bad different but I think I got a weirdly deeper understanding of these characters now and how they would interact and how each side of the love square has sm depth (which I never rly appreciated before) and how they all leave my chest with a weirdly deep ache
