re last post (sorry for ppl using newer versions of tumblr w reblog chains still broken) i dont actually keep my bedroom at 96°F(35.6°C) that is admittedly a bit warm even for me but in the summer it has often been around like 86°F(30°C) and like sometimes when im trying to cool it down it will in part be for my personal comfort, but Honestly, the Main reason i bother try to cool it down in the summer to at least 80°F(36.7°C) is cos of the fish tanks lol

#toy txt post #the plants LOVE the warmth. the tanks....im just trying to keep the tanks at like under 83°F(28.3°C) without having to invest in a chiller #i have a ac unit on my wall now so this will be my first summer with that but the likelihood of me getting pissed at it #and either turning it off or setting it to like not turn on til its 90(cos it reads temps weird?)#i Couldve gotten a window unit. but. i absolutely loathe window units sorry. blocks so much light and never shuts the fuck up?#awful #id rather just be hot #i have to fix the heater in the 40gal tbh tho bc i think i had it set at 76 but its consistently trying to keep the tank at like 81 82F #(celsius conversions uuhh its set at 24.4°C but the heater is consistently keeping it at 27.1°C to 27.8°C)#the big tank was doing that too but i got a new heater and freaked out about it so now i have it set at like 73°F/22.8°C #to keep the tank around 77°F/25°C #anyway. the cat loves 80°F(26.7°C)+ and my late dog did too and so do i so me the cat and the dog would all be in here like #handshake meme
