I feel like the only reason water bomb is a thing is so that nasty people can super sexualize female idols. Like..ok I know that the female idols that I know of like nayeon, hwasa, sunmi and hyuna and chungha are like legal and so are the members of kiof and jeewon and eunbi but like..idk like the whole jeewon situation I feel so bad for her and like with eunbi I’m surprised she went again after it seemed the last experience wasn’t too good. And I know the members of kiof are like legal technically or whatever but I always felt people were pushing the “grown ass adult” narrative on the members and that made me avoid them as much as possible cause to me they seemed very young and shit and like with jeewon she’s constantly looking uncomfortable in every outfit the stylists give her and they outta stop cause it’s creepy how the company is treating her. Idk like I just feel like female idols get sexualized even more at water bomb because they get wet and you can see through their shirts depending on the material or whatever and idk or like..idk and I’m surprised hyuna went too cause I thought both Koreans and westerners were kinda on the same page with her?? I watched a little bit of the performance and hee new song I could not understand like either something was off with the backtrack or the mic or hee singing has become shit. And I feel bad tbh because she had so many fans and she seemed so happy with hyojong and everything just seemed perfect and now things feel sad and wrong to me and I know she can do what she wants and it’s not my business but I can’t help but feel sad for her and her current situation and relationship. Idk why she would date him like she might as well date Seungri or that other guy like and why date someone who did stuff that..idk. And like she’s seen the comments I bet, why would she want to be with someone and think..idk like it’s almost like she wanted to sabotage herself and stuff. I feel like she performs differently too like it doesn’t look like she’s genuinely having fun on stage anymore idk she’s changed and it makes me sad to see such a dramatic transition. And there was a time when I didn’t like hyuna and then I started to like her and then love her and I love her music and everything and now Idk how I feel about listening to her music or just don’t like so many other artists. Hello, so this is your beloved Jasper. Kim Hyojong a.k.a Dawn and Kim Hyun-ah a.k.a HyunA are K-Pop Idols currently under PSY Nation. In 2016 they started dating and announced it to the public in 2018. They even left their company CUBE (where Dawn was in Pentagon and HyunA was in 4minute) because of the dating ban. They got engaged in February 2022 with customized cute rings and posted on Insta alongside a “Marry me” text. Everything was going well until the 30th of November when HyunA and Dawn posted the breakup notes . A note that made the whole fandom shake. But why?

I’m gonna state a few reasons why I think so. First of all, PRESSURE, yes, you saw it right. If you see, HyunA has a weird and sexy music style with colorful sets and bright hair, whereas Dawn was more of an aesthetic set and natural hair i don't know how to explain but i hope you got that. After the dating was revealed, the company CUBE made slight pressure on Dawn for matching her energy. They made his whole vibe different! The couple was kind of being used for attracting people, about the dating stuff in the K-pop industry. Second, PREFERENCES. If you saw that show with baby zen, they talked about kids. I won’t explain much about that show you can check it out but what I saw from that is, Dawn indirectly stated that he wanted to have kids after marrying HyunA whereas HyunA had no interest in it.

I won’t write further, but it’s just to say that I’m not saying that HyunA is the villain or Dawn is bad but just a small analysis of individual differences as a psychology student.

It’s just my opinion and you are open to disagree. English is not my first language so hope you ignore those little mistakes😉

Obviously, the couple did not give a clear statement about their dating or the breakup. To be honest, they should not even do that, I mean they are human and they don’t need to explain it to the media. Some things are meant to be private. Hope you understand.

Pentagon X Matching couple stuff

Jinho: It all started when you and Jinho were shopping for shoes together. You were both looking around the store and picked the same exact shoes. At first you told him you would look for another pair if he really liked the shoes, but instead Jinho insisted for you to try them on as well. That is how you both started to wear more matching shoes (same colour or same brand). It was your way of showing you were together.

Hui: Hui always keeps his relationship and work separate. Even though he writes songs about you, he rarely really combines the two. Still he wanted to let people know that he was taken and so were you. He saw some awesome couple rings and decided to get them. The matching ring was a surprise for your anniversary. Hui never takes it off, even if it doesn’t match their next mv concept. It is his way of taking you with him wherever he goes.

Hongseok: It is kind of cliché, but it was totally Hongseok’s idea. He tried to motivate you to work out with him and bought matching work-out clothes. You both ended up wear it on days that you just chilling at home, instead of going to the gym. He clothes are very comfortable, but it did motivate you both to make some funny work-out couple pictures.

Shinwon: You and Shinwon both love music. You listened to the same music or introduced each other to new music. There is always music playing when you are together. It is just a little thing between you too. Shinwon would take you to concerts sometime and that is where your matching couple clothing started. You both bought a fan t-shirt of the band you saw and started wearing those type of shirts together. After that, whenever you and Shinwon saw cute matching shirts you bought them and wore them with pride.

Changgu: Changgu is very aesthetically pleasing and has an awesome way of styling. While shopping together you both picked a new outfit that kind of matched and that is where Changgu came up with the idea of matching couple outfits. You would both wear either the same colours or brand of clothes, but still stay true with your own style. It was clear to everybody around you that you were a couple. Not in a cheesy way, but more a badass way.

Yanan: Yanan has a lot of sweaters in the winter, but you end up stealing all of them. So Yanan came up with an idea. He would buy one sweater for himself and one matching one for you. Usually in a different colour. Once you steal one of his sweaters, he would put on the other one to match you. Once you noticed it, it became a cute couple thing you two did.

Yuto: Yuto doesn’t really like extreme matching couple things. He always wears the same necklace you bought him at your first anniversary. Still he wanted to give you something that would be matching. He bought the same necklace and let it engrave with his initials and let his own engrave with yours. It was very touching and cute, so you would wear it all the time.

Kino: Kino likes matching clothes and shoes, but you told him you wanted something small to match with him. He found some awesome hats and gave on to you. Seeing Kino happy as soon as you put it on, made your heart flutter. The hat looks awesome on you and you started making a lot of pictures with it. That is how your matching hat tradition started. You would both take a lot of selfies in stores with matching hats and often would buy crazy ones just for fun or for parties. It became our inside joke.

Wooseok: Wooseok is very shy and didn’t feel very comfortable being in matching couple outfits in public. Instead he would rather be matching with you at home. He bought you matching gaming consults and other gaming equipment. It gave a very aesthetically pleasing feel to your home and motivated you to kick his ass in many games.

Bonus: 

Hyojong and Hyuna: They both got matching watches when they started at P Nation, but besides that they also have a lot of matching tattoos. They are a couple that almost everyday match perfectly in clothes or accessories.

they were co-ed. they perfectly pulled off the “im hot, rich and better than you” concept and still managed to be the most down to earth and humble people alive. they managed to make the most UGLY and horrific stage outfits look good. they proved they were voices, dancers, performers AND producers to be reckoned with. they had the duality. they had the range. yet, all it took for cube to pull the plug was honesty and a few fangirls and boys feeling hurt that their idols were dating.

i hate cube. not because they sucks at taking care and handleing their artists, all companys sucks on that. but besides that, i hate cube cuz they had the audacy to give us the cultural reset that was TRIPLE H and then, they just... like it wouldnt destroy the universe's balance... they took triple h from us!!!!!!!!!! Bro I love looking at idols and their different tattoos cause a lot of the older idols have like tattoo tattoos like full sleeves and hand tats and chest and stuff and some idols have lil tattoos scattered around their bodies and it looks like lil kid doodles and some of them are funny to look at like some are cute lil kid drawings and some just look stupid imo like love St.Van’s tattoos and GD’s are iconic and then you have fucking Taeil and his neck tattoo that shit’s baller bro and then you have Hyuna and Hyojong who have lil childlike tattoos that compliment each other honestly and it’s super cute or like sometimes the female idols will get like the simple and feminine tattoos like a lil flower or a dainty heart and it’s super cute like I’ve thought about getting a tattoo cause like idk sometimes I want a tattoo or like get my ears pierced or a nose piercing lol but yeah it’s fun looking at idol tattoos and such. Btw if y’all have not seen Taeil’s tat look it up it’s killer. we tryna stay calm and positive for our dear songwriter of the year over here but its hard dess........ i spent the day working so i tried to keep my mind off of it and it still seems kinda fake but like. hes actually gone he deadass isnt a part of ikon anymore and that breaks my heart on so many levels like i love that bitch so much i got into ikon last year when i first heard love scenario and since then its been one of my all time favorite songs like its so important to me sometimes i cry listening to it bc it reminds me of a rough time when literally all i could do was listen to it on repeat and watch ikon tv and ignore my issues just so i could stay alive and hhhhhhhh i love and admire him so much and this whole thing sucks.. cant wait to have another reason to bawl my eyes out when i listen to long time no see again
