scrolling through the little snippets that are scattered around the breaking the chain doc and. pfft. thanks cherry for introducing me to hylimpa bc it has plagued me ever since. even though i have also succumbed to hylineth (and now oh man oh jeez hylimpaneth wow) hylimpa is so good. i have a tiny scene with hylia and the golden goddesses and farore poking fun at her baby sister by saying 'to be fair. impa hot" i am going to go lay facedown in the compost bin now

i love them a lot!!!! also re: canon did them wrong, i mean that on an individual character level. obviously they never interact bc they are from two different sources. alas

double bingo!!! alshiora my beloved <3333 i think abt them SO often. they are everything. i love them romantic or platonic. shalvis already has a wacky relationship in canon, whether you see them as romantic or not. and i think we as a fandom are sleeping on the alvis&fiora potential (thank you to @/assbele for the hard work on portraying their friendship!!!!)
