mainly a girl group stan, but has his few boy group exceptions

not an agency stan, although he coincidentally likes a lot of SM groups

vocals are more important to him than anything else (hence him liking SM groups) and he loves watching dm killing voice because of that

theo starts using aegyo as a manipulation tactic/to annoy liam and liam absolutely hates it. he cringes everytime, but he also actually does find theo cute and secretly gets a bit flustered. theo refuses to be embarrassed about it, which just infuriates liam even further

headcanon 001: suji’s claims on canon equinox discography word count: 586 words, excluding song titles

about love: about love is a b-side from equinox’s 2nd full length album, perfect night. suji has partial lyrics and partial melody claims for this track. this was her first participation in a track on equinox’s album and it came right before the release of her own solo mini-album. it was a sneak peak into what was to come in the eyes of gold star, and the well-received response to the track was probably a reason why gold star decided to trust suji with a self-written track for her solo debut. to this day, the song is used a lot by fansites and just regular fans alike when speaking of their idol especially the chorus which is what suji helped to write. her favorite part that she wrote is most likely when i say your name, it sounds a lot like ‘i love you’

butterflies: it’ll be a whole year later before suji once again participates in an equinox song. she, once again, has partial lyrics and partial melody to this track. she was approached by the a&r team about trying out writing lyrics. the big picture of the song was already figured out as was the instrumental, and so she was given the task of figuring out lyrics and any kind of melody to go along with it. unlike about love though, the chorus isn’t what she participated in. instead, she was more responsible for ideas within the verses and was highly involved in the melody making process instead

lp: suji only wrote the lyrics to this track, but she did write them all on her own. the basic story behind the lyrics is that she’s comparing someone’s feelings to a lp player. the needle on the player is one’s touch and the more the lp gets played, the closer the needle gets to the middle. it’s all a metaphor to talk about how two lovers get closer to one another with time. she thinks it’s one of her better works when it comes to telling a whole story through the lyrics alone

eyes locked, hands locked: since lp was a b-side on the first album of their trilogy, gold star decided that it’d be nice if suji participated in a b-side for the following albums as well which is how she ended up participating in eyes locked, hands locked. she absolutely loved the demo track with its rich instrumentals and melody line so coming up with the lyrics wasn’t a very difficult task. to match with the sort of soft yet sultry instrumental, she thought writing about the gradual desire of wanting to grow closer and closer by someone which starts by locking eyes and then holding hands. the title wasn’t finalized by suji though. it’s something the a&r team came up with once she submitted her final lyrics

remember forever: the finish to the equinox festival trilogy. works well that she wrote the lyrics to all these tracks because she thinks they’re somewhat connected. they all share a similar story of wanting to be close to a loved one. remember forever is a nice nail on the coffin because it’s all about already being together and remembering the moment forever

she has yet to participate in another equinox track after remember forever though she would love to. suji’s simply been busy with her own solo music and solo activities that she hasn’t had the time to sit down and write with the in-house producers nor have they approached her to ask for her lyrics or melodies because they know she’s already so occupied

your very typical ex-boyfriend plot. there’s no specific details that i have in mind, but hyeju’s not very different of a person even in a romantic relationship. a lot of the times, she acts like her boyfriend is just her best friend. she isn’t good with expressing her feelings and finds love confessions or anything considered sweet to be quite cringe-worthy. perhaps your muse thought the opposite and got tired of her looking like she was putting no effort into the relationship. or maybe you got bored of a romantic relationship looking no different from a platonic one. anything really works, and this doesn’t even have to end on a bad note because i hc that hyeju actually keeps in contact/stays friends with a lot of her exes because they end up ending on a “we were never meant to be in a relationship” kind of note. the age range is short on the younger side because hyeju has a tendency to not see those younger than her as romantic partners. very more likely to end up with those older than her or the same age

who? — anybody that debuted after lily, preferably those who debuted after 2015 but before that could work as well

hyeju is terrible when it comes to remembering people’s names and groups. you could tell her your name like four times before she finally remembers it and even then there’s a big chance she’ll butcher it. she’s that meme of “we love everybody in lily. members minah, minhee and hye....yoon”. like she’s just bad and there’s no excuse for it. perhaps your muse misunderstands this and thinks she’s a cold, intimidating senior. i’ve been told quite a bit that hyeju comes off intimidating at times, and she’s not really on a mission to correct that assumption tbh

mentorship — anybody that debuted after lily. however, before works if said muse wants tips on a specific skill!

with all the titles that come along with her position, hyeju’s quite a well-rounded idol. she’s participated in lily’s b-sides which means she has some kind of experience with songwriting. she’s the lead dancer and lead vocal which means she’s obviously somewhat talented in both aspects. has also choreographed some of her own solos before. she’s stated herself that she feels like a sort of triple threat because of how well-rounded she is. your muse might be someone who wants tips or wants to know how she manages all her time to have all these skills be at somewhat an above average level. hyeju’s not a great mentor, in my opinion, but she’s serious about her job and she’s been in the industry for close to a decade now so she knows how it works. if you ask for help, she’s not hesitant to offer it

you’re all probably dead tired of me and my ooc posts and don’t even care, but i just wanted to explain the abrupt hiatus !! if you don’t want to read about my hiatus & my plan with my muses, you can just have the short version and like this post to plot with me!!!

so after the event ended, i felt sort of empty and lost all the muse i had for my girls which is why i decided on a sort of abrupt hiatus. it was to the point where i was kind of ready to drop suji, but i love my baby girl too much and decided against it. i just didn’t want to force write a bunch of replies because that’s not fair to anybody who was interacting with me : ( so during about this week and a half, i thought about the direction i’d like my muses to go and how i would like some more deep connections with other muses!!! so basically, i’m just gonna jot down what i’ve been thinking regarding my muses while i was gone!

she’s emotionally and mentally in a much better place because bomb bomb did better than their previous releases! she still isn’t fully confident that she’ll ever be able to face her parents and tell them that she’s a successful star, but it was enough to relieve her of a lot of stress

the hawaii trip also helped her out a lot, and i’m just going to hc that hanging out with all her friends in the warm weather just allowed her to feel free

oh her hair is back to black now btw. i’m sorry red hair!yujin enthusiasts, but her scalp was starting to hurt

michuri has ended, but the viral moment has helped her gain some confidence as well, and she’s a lot more open to trying new things now!! variety shows, maybe even acting, etc.

i was mostly at a lost when it came to suji. i didn’t know where i wanted her going, and all i know at the moment is that she really just wants to venture more into solo music

canon-wise, zimzalabim hasn’t come out yet, but i’m going to assume they’re starting to prepare for it and let me tell you suji DOES NOT like the song at all. like she thought rbb was bad, but this is a fucking nightmare to her (suji isn’t a fan of wild, experimental music y’all but i’m jamming to zimzalabim as i type this ooc shit up) 

anyway this sort of pushes her into wanting to pursue a solo career even more, and i was originally going to just have her release an unpromoted portal song, but with the mess that was zimzalabim, suji is most likely going to want another mini so!!! if anybody wants creative claim points for anything, feel free to hit me up because i only have one song picked out atm lmao i’m always open for discussion 

she still loves her members and fuse, but she’s kind of sick and tired of the musical direction they’re going with?? like she wants quality music, which she doesn’t think these latest release have been. like power up -> rbb -> zimzalabim is just a nightmare for suji 

plot-wise: feel free to call her out on the disinterest she’s been forming when it comes to fuse. remind her that she wouldn’t be where she is without the group anyway, and her musical taste shouldn’t drive her so far away. or on the other-hand, encourage her to go her way because she’s five years into her career anyway?? be my guest with anything. 

oh, she also has some family issues going on. her family is practically begging her to come back to london, and she sort of doesn’t want to because she doesn’t think it’ll feel like home anymore. like she’s sort of scared that she’s gotten detached too much, and so she’s putting distance between them. if anybody wants to plot regarding this feel free to hmu as well!!
