भगवान विष्णु ने दुर्गा की स्तुति की: कहा कि मैं (विष्णु), ब्रह्मा तथा शंकर तुम्हारी कृपा से विद्यमान हैं। हमारा तो आविर्भाव (जन्म) तथा तिरोभाव (मृत्यु) होती है। हम नित्य (अविनाशी) नहीं हैं। तुम ही नित्य हो, जगत् जननी हो, प्रकृति और सनातनी देवी हो। भगवान शंकर ने कहा: यदि भगवान ब्रह्मा तथा भगवान विष्णु तुम्हीं से उत्पन्न हुए हैं तो उनके बाद उत्पन्न होने वाला मैं तमोगुणी लीला करने वाला शंकर क्या तुम्हारी संतान नहीं हुआ अर्थात् मुझे भी उत्पन्न करने वाली तुम ही हों। इस संसार की सृष्टी-स्थिति-संहार में तुम्हारे गुण सदा सर्वदा हैं। इन्हीं तीनों गुणों से उत्पन्न हम, ब्रह्मा-विष्णु तथा शंकर नियमानुसार कार्य में तत्त्पर रहते हैं।

हैदराबाद में महिला डॉक्टर से गैंगरेप की घटना के बाद पूरे देश में आक्रोश का माहौल है. पुलिस ने इस मामले में अब तक चार आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया है और उनसे पूछताछ में नए खुलासे हो रहे हैं. पुलिस पूछताछ में यह बात सामने आई है कि गैंगरेप का मुख्य आरोपी मोहम्मद आरिफ बगैर लाइसेंस के पिछले दो साल से ट्रक चला रहा था. साथ ही घटना से 2 दिन पहले ही उसे पुलि��� के चेकिंग के दौरान पकड़ा भी गया था.
