Amazon India announced the start of two 300 MW (megawatt) wind-solar hybrid projects in India.
On November 30, Amazon India announced the start of two 300 MW (megawatt) wind-solar hybrid projects in Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka, India. Once operational, the projects would generate 1,163 GWh of sustainable energy, according to a statement from the firm.
Amazon currently owns five utility-scale Renewable Energy Turnkey EPC Companies in India, totaling over 720MW of renewable energy capacity, in addition to three solar farms in Rajasthan. Sites having both wind and solar farms are known as wind solar hybrids, and they provide for a more reliable supply of renewable energy to the electrical grid.

“We continue to increase momentum for our renewable energy investments in India as the largest corporate buyer of renewable energy globally. According to a statement from Abhinav Singh, Director of Customer Fulfillment, Supply Chain, and Global Specialty Fulfillment at Amazon India, “The two new projects represent Amazon’s first wind-solar hybrid projects globally. We have worked with government and industry stakeholders in India to unlock more corporate renewable energy procurement in the nation. Through utility-scale projects in India, we have attained over 720MW of renewable energy capacity this year.The new projects are in line with the wind-solar hybrid policy of India’s Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), which aims to encourage more of these hybrid projects to make efficient use of land and transmission infrastructure as well as to lessen variability in renewable generation, which enhances grid stability.
According to Amazon India, the company will become carbon-neutral by 2040, using energy produced from renewable sources to offset energy used from fossil fuels. Amazon’s business used 85% renewable energy by the year 2021. According to the company’s statement, Amazon has now made investments in 17 utility-scale renewable energy projects in Asia totaling more than 1,600 MW in Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, and Singapore.
According to Abhinav Singh, Director Of Customer Fulfillment, Supply Chain and Global Specialty Fulfillment, Amazon India, “At Amazon, we have worked hard to partner with and engage government and industry players on corporate power purchase agreements for renewable energy in India.”
Additionally, Amazon revealed 23 new solar rooftop projects on its fulfillment centers in 14 locations, which would provide an extra 4.09 MW of renewable energy. With 19.7 MW of renewable energy capacity, there are now 41 solar rooftop projects in India, which will help power Amazon’s fulfilment network there.
To power our offices, fulfilment facilities, data centers, and shops, which jointly serve millions of consumers worldwide, we are bringing new wind and solar projects online. We are on track to use only renewable energy throughout our whole organization by 2025.

As we all work together to lessen the effects of climate change, he continued, “Countries throughout the world are eager to speed the transition to a clean energy economy. Continued investments like ours can assist hasten their path.”
“We are glad to observe how policy reforms by the government over the last several years are enabling usage of renewable energy by the Industry thus offering ways to accomplish their sustainability targets,” said Dinesh Dayanand Jagdale, Joint Secretary for the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).

thinking of writing my “what i would do if i was asked to make the next star wars trilogy” idea into a fanfic.
Story idea rant below
So its a good 40/50 years since episode 9.
The galaxy is back in war, because of course it is. However, this time it is not a simple “evil imperial sith dudes” vs “democratic jedi nice guys” instead its between 4 morally complex groups:
The republic, who has been a bit too imperial recently in fear, ironically, of a new sith/imperial group rising in power.
Pros: Democracy is nice :)
Cons: Shadowy politics and fear-mongering has led to questionable policies
A so far unamed group formed from the rebelled stormtroopers and other ex-imperial groups and systems. defiant against the republics new iron grip they eventually rebelled fully. Mandalorians joined these guys
Pros: Cool imperial-rebel hybrid aesthetic. mandalorians
Cons: Some less cool imperial militaristic ideologies.
A group that split from the republic to serve their own interests. A largely capitalist group made up of shareholders and trade corporations led by kaminoans, who have “perfected” cloning to create archetypal dna templates for any role
Pros: Not actually that cruel or expansionist
Cons: eugenics basically, spooky dudes
The criminal underbelly whos no longer so “under”. no longer content with just running a few outer ring systems, several cartels and gangs united to claim more territory.

What makes this war different however, is the Jedi. As always when shit hit the fan the republic turned to Rey, who had begun her own jedi temple. Rey however learnt from the clone wars, and vowed no jedi would ever again have the title “general.”
Instead, she took her jedi and left, finding neutral, unknown systems to work from. Instead of serving the republic they serve peace and life. They got involved with the war sure, but only in helping refugees and enforcing fair play. stopping slave trade and production of death star level weapons. They encouraged and watched over peace talks, but never took sides when they deteriorated. This led to a pretty cruisy time for those systems not in the war. no blockades if you refused to join, or a jedi would come and kick your ass.
However, the war raged on despite their best efforts. So Rey (old but not decrepit thanks to force shenanigans) hatches an egg. i mean a plan.
She goes to each of the four factions home systems, and finds a force sensitive child of similar ages. She trains all four to be jedi, but allows them to return home each summer. She hopes this will allow them to be positive influences on their factions, and to be the key in returning the galaxy to peace.
These become our four main characters.
Gonna flesh this out more, name things and characters. But basically the first “movie” would be their jedi knight test, where they have to protect a primative city built on an ancient sith temple that the four factions just discovered and about to start fighting over. plot ensues.
