While filming Hwarang, V became friends with the other actors from the cast, notably Park Seojoon and Choi Wooshik. rapline are deeply involved in the creative process and production, jikook are given the most lines and collabs and then you have tae telling us how hard it was to keep up and jin questioning what he even brings to the table. even though all the members were pushed for hwarang i’m glad we got a taejin ost out of it they deserved to be heard more. it is what it is though yea. all solos have something to complain about but maybe there is a little truth in some of their complaints, they’re always unhappy so maybe no one has the patience to sift through what deserves a convo and what doesn’t. but i guess convos won’t really change anything in the end.

I’m sure there is truth to some of the complaints. I don’t like the structure and standards of Kpop in general and I think it does harm to a lot of people. I’m definitely not trying to say everything is going splendidly and we have no reason to complain. BTS have gone through rough times. Every member in his own way and as a collective. I think every member has scars because of it. I hear people say Hybe isn’t as bad as other labels, but still.. even their standards have been brutal. You don’t end up with all seven members speaking about depression, feelings of inadequacy, being overworked etc for nothing. They have lived a crazy life.

I do feel that every solo pushes for their favorite having had the toughest deal. And that to me takes away from the troubles the others have had. Yes Tae and Jk have had it rough having to hide, but others have had their own personal struggles. Other members have also have to hide their partners. Their journey has not necessarily been easier. And it does not take away from Tae and Jk’s troubles to admit that. I agree that Tae has been treated badly, but so have the others. I don’t think the company is actively working against him now. Though I understand how fans don’t trust them because of what they’re used to.

SHINee grubunun üyesi olan Minho’nun dizisi çıktığını duyunca ilgilimi çekmişti. Daha önce Hwarang’da tanışmıştık kendisiyle. Onun vesilesi ile de SHINee grubuyla tanışmıştım. Aslında uzunca bir süredir dizi ve filmlerde boy gösteriyormuş. Ben nedense Hwarang ilk dizisiymiş de şimdi ondan sora ikinci bir dizide oynuyormuş gibi bir kafaya girmişim. Halbuki arada oynadığı başka dizileri de izlemişim. Neyse mış mış kısmını geçelim. Kısacık bir diziydi. Tam bir “slice of life” dizisiydi.

Netflix orijinal dizisi olduğu her halinden belliydi. Hayatlarında bir şeyleri rayına oturtmaya çalışan dört arkadaşın yaşadıklarını izledik. Karakterlerin arkadaş ilişkileri, hayalleri ve işleri anlatıldı. Dizinin ilginç kısmı seçilen sektördü. Daha önce işlenmemiş bir konuya değinilmişti. Moda sektörünün içinden geçtik. Dört arkadaştan biri manken, biri tasarımcı, biri fotoğrafçı diğeri ise moda ajansında marka tanıtım şefiydi. Hem işleri birbirine dokunan hem hayatları iç içe olan bu arkadaş grubunu ben çok sevdim.

Birbirlerine olan destekleri kıskandıracak cinsteydi. Ayrıca Kore dizilerinden bir tık sıyrılan bir romantizm anlayışı da vardı. Gerçekçi bir aşk hikayesini de bizlere sundular. Dizinin bundan başka anlatılacak bir detayı yoktu maalesef. Moda ajansında çalışan Pyo Ji-Eun (Chae Soo-Bin), işine aşık kibar ve sıradan bir hanım kızdır. Geçmişte, fotoğrafçı olan Ji Woo-Min(Minho) ile romantik bir ilişki içinde bulunmasına rağmen yürütemediklerine karar verip arkadaş kalmışlardır. Tasarımcı olan Joseph(Lee Sang-Un)‘e bayıldım. Hiç dillendirmeden cinsel tercihleri ile ilgili cesur bir karakter betimlemişlerdi. Başarılı ama çocuk gibi, kendini beğenmiş gibi görünen ama kendinden önce hep arkadaşlarını düşünen korkak bir çocuk gibiydi Joseph. Ve son olarak da güçlü mankenimiz Ye Seon-Ho (Park Hee-Jung) vardı. Adeta kadının gücü gibiydi. Yere sapasağlam basarken ve dışarıya dimdik bir duruş sergilerken içeriden nasıl kırıkları olduğunu bize gösterdi. Pes etmeden, arkadaşlarının elini bırakmadan nasıl dikenli bir hayatı göğüslediğini gördük.

Dizi sonu yatakta biten bir parti ile başlıyor. Bu kadar cesur devam etmese de ilgiyi kaybetmediklerini düşünüyorum. Bir grup arkadaşın hayatlarına kısacık bakış atıyoruz. İzlenebilir.

So I have lately been on a spree to listen to earlier bts songs and for some reason I never used to like House of Cards earlier but this time around - I've absolutely fallen in love with the song??? Have there been any such cases for you where you initially didn't like a song but later on grew to like it?

i think i’ve experienced the opposite. i’ve found myself skipping older songs more often than i used to simply because i’ve listened to them SO MUCH 😭 my soul hurts a bit every time. it’s not that i dislike them, i just made myself sick of them lol. i used to listen to taejin’s ost for hwarang sooo much, but now i’m not so crazy about it

Jin (Kim, Seok jin) is a South Korean singer, songwriter and member of 21st century pop icons, BTS. Jin’s appealing voice and clear tone amplify the emotions delivered through music.
