Like you’d legit coordinate your outfits to be the same colour and look fly as hell stunting on all these ppl in like

You’d go out and have the most aesthetic ™ to date, like going to a botanical garden and getting ice cream and taking so many pictures it hurts

And all the while just enjoying being with each other, stealing little cheek kisses and forehead kisses and tiring each other out with the laughter that’ll shake your ribs

Like wow, everyone would be jealous of you guys because you’d just sit there and shine, literally because of your clothes but like metaphorically from the inside out because you’re just so happy to be with each other

Would love to do something with you where he could line up behind you and show you proper form and be all cheeky like that because he knows it makes you smile

Definitely the type to get you nice food and make sure you sit down to eat, make sure you’re satisfied

But also would want it to be an upbeat date where you could have fun like usual

And he’d do that thing where he dances around you whenever he gets a strike or spare, knowing he’s going to win and that you made a little bet for what happens to the winner (the details of which I will not disclose here)

But you’d just be playful and tease each other but also be able to get serious on the way home and have him whisper everything that’s been good about the past year and it’d all add up to you

And he’d promise to try harder and be better at being a boyfriend and you’d do nothing but shush him and plant a big smooch on his little face because he couldn’t be more wrong

Legit would take you to a hotel room for the whole day to do n o t h i n g

Like rent out a room and you’d just order in food and watch horrible tv and wear the fuzzy bathrobes because you want to feel expensive

If you’re both feeling up to it, you’d go swimming or for a walk to see the outside world for a bit

Hand in hand at least or connected just the same, you’d walk around like little kids and talk about everything and anything

Or just go really silent as you’re watching tv and leaning your heads on each other.

Definitely take a midday nap and afterwards exchange the presents you’re hiding under the bed. Something so small and simple like a bracelet would be exchanged but it means a lot

Because, well, anything means a lot coming from him

would want you to have fun and be happy but would be so awkward in the process

Like omg he’d reach for your hand and b l u s h when you take it because it means so much more on this special day

And he’d take you somewhere outside so you could smell the fresh air and see the sun and he’d just hold little heat packs between your palms if it’s too cold as you’re walking

And constantly constantly check if you’re okay like fiddling with your scarf and hat and just really wanting you to be okay

Would make you choose between street food and expensive food but you’d end up with street food anyways, locking arms as you take the first bites of your hot dogs

You would just be so young and teenager-y, with nothing necessarily special happening but every moment feels like it’s filled with gems because he’s looking at you like you’re the only person to ever exist

And in that moment it really starts to feel like it

Is lame and wrote you a poem and really wants to read it in the like best place

So he’d like plan a whole day and make it the best day of your life

Brunch at noon, favourite musical at 2pm, anything you wanted would be on this to do list

And he’d wait until you were alone, after getting rolled up ice cream and you were full and happy and exchanging gifts to reveal his last little surprise

And he’d like stand up from his bed and clear his throat and read from the page all the things he doesn’t know how to say to you when you’re around

It would take a moment for you to come to your senses but honestly, it really gets to you because no one has ever written something so nice for you

His hands are shaking when he finishes but he’d just come and grab yours and tell you everything he wrote is true and he just wants to love you forever because you make him happier than he’s ever been

And it’s the best thing you’ll hear all year.

Would take you to laser tag tbh

Like he’s SO not the typical type of romantic that he’d get all excited and not tell you where you were going and deadass take you to a laser tag place

Where you like get pizza for lunch and just go and destroy all the kids that are in the place with you

Until he turns on you in the second round and he ?? Sides with the kids?? So you’re left to fend for yourself wow

But eventually will “sacrifice” himself for you and lose the game nonetheless. Will definitely ask you for a kiss as compensation for his loss

But overall would want to make the day fun and not at all serious or stressful like most people make it seem

He would, however, have a little gift for you even if it was just a trinket or a card he made because he’d want you to have something tangible to remember the day
