Aesthetic art with Hux. It was a lot of Interesting to draw the different parts separately.

Kylo Ren was a son of the smuggler-turned-jaeger superstar, Han Solo. He had changed his name when he got the chance after distancing himself from his family so he didn't have to worry about being grouped up on his father's reputation. Hell, he didn't even want to be a pilot. All he wanted to do is to stay at the shatterdome to help where he can. Armitage Hux is a son of one of the best pilots ever known, Brendol Hux. Living up to his father's name is no easy feat, especially when he still have yet to find his drift compatible match. As a Jaeger was being repaired after its two previous pilots died, Hux is tasked to find his co-pilot before the repairs are complete. He meets Kylo and, in Kylo's personal opinion, it all went down from there.

...I was inspired to make an aesthetic, had star wars on my mind, a friend mentioned Kylux and here we are.

I have way too much fun making aesthetics of AUs (mainly) and thinking up summary of stories to go with them.

There's just so many little 'why...'s in TLJ... They brought the last bombers the Resistance had to the fight over D'Qar, but actually they didn't plan on using them, they were just meant to distract the FO from the Resistance's base evacuation. They were meant to turn around and leave as soon as the evacuation was complete. But Poe goes through the trouble of clearing all of those surface cannons. To make way for the bombers that aren't supposed to be used. Was there no better distraction they could think of? They lose every single bomber and quite a few pilots for this mess.

AND, ON TOP OF ALL OF THIS — the giant fuck-you cannons on the Dreadnought could completely bypass the bombers. All of the distractions in the world would not have mattered at all if Canady had been just a little quicker on targeting the Resistance flagship. The only reason the evacuation was successful at all is that the Dreadnought took a little too long to charge and fire on the base. The bombers had nothing to do with it. A+ plan???

found another thing about hux I relate to...

I only realized this recently but turns out I enjoy being in charge so that's probably why I like reading fics about hux being very In Charge and in control so much?

in a similar vein I really like his costume aesthetic - like people joke about his shoulder pads and copious use of hair gel but... something about how tightly controlled it is appeals to me? idk i can't explain it right

So on top of Gleeson saying that Hux is a vicious fighter, we can now also confirm that he probably skips sleep to work on his weapons of mass destruction. 

(Other details such as ‘enjoys authority and holds onto it at all costs’ is something I know will be appreciated by some people. Yes, Kylux fandom, I’m looking at you.)

Okay so how bout a ramble that isn't angsty or dramatic?

Was relistening to Gavin's valentines audio and I'm once again struck by the thought that there is nothing stopping Gavin from being the DAMN fam's sugar demon.

He conjures (or transforms Frelancer's couch into) a new gaudy, comfortable couch. He can make food and food ingredients from magic.

What's stopping him from just "Oh hey, Freelancer, you mentioned that you've always wanted one of those switch things with Lasko. So here...no I didn't steal it, Deviant, I made it from magic. I made sure it has those games you two were babbling about and I can change the colors to whatever you want."

"Hey Lasko, Freelancer said your appliances break down a lot so I rifted to your apartment and upgraded them to the newest models from that one store we went to. If they break or somethings wrong, just let me know, I'll fix it."

"Hey Hux, Freelancer said that when someone gets a new home, it's customary to bring a 'home warming' present? Since you already have Damien to warm your bed, I thought you might like that grill I saw you staring at?"

"Why hello, Wildfire, to what do I owe- hmmm? Oh, yes that was me....well you were talking about the state of your pots and pans after Hux and Freelancer cooked for Friendsgiving. So I made new ones, which I can assure you are much better than anything you'll find in stores. I can change the look so they match your aesthetic better?"

"Hello, my Dear, or rather, Lasko's Dear. My apologies, I had to say it at least once. I wanted to give you a little gift, you don't have to worry about paying me back, i just made them with magic. These are noise canceling headphones. They have that 'Blueteeth' feature so you can use it with your phone or your switch or whatnot."

Huxley - Hanami (flower-viewing) | Redactober Day 18

Huxley is fascinated with flowers. He tends to his own garden and loves visiting local parks just for the aesthetic and olfactory stimulation of the variety of flowers present.

Even though his core feels more at home during the wintertime, he can't help but feel sad about most of the flora withering with the colder temperatures.

During one spring, Damien (I HC him as being mixed Asian, including Japanese) takes Huxley with him on a trip to Japan, he's on a secret mission to bring Hux to admire the sakura blossoms. Huxley, of course, is mesmerized by the sight. He'd seen pictures online, but after seeing the real thing in front of him, sakura trees towering over the couple, petals gently floating and scattered across the sky, he could almost feel his core shake in excitement as the view had completely enraptured him.

"This is so sick! Thanks for bringing me here, Dames. I love you."

Prompt: Public Transit

Armitage Hux, despite what some may think, was perfectly fine with taking public transit. He had grown up in London, a city with excellent public transportation, at least when compared to the US. He was lucky to live in New York City, one of the few places with any public transit. He was used to the filth and the rush hour crowds, used to the oddness of some of the fellow patrons.

However, he could do without the shoving.

A particularly harsh shove to his front caused him to bump into the person behind him, namely what felt like that person’s guitar case.

“I’m terribly sorr-” Hux turned to the side to apologize, but was utterly dumbfounded by the attractive beast of a man that was behind him. He was very tall, taller than himself, and broad. He was wearing all black and was clearly into the punk aesthetic, with an eyebrow piercing, layered chain necklaces, and jean vest. He also had very muscular arms that were covered in tattoos. 

“It’s alright.” The man said – in a smooth, deep voice – as he picked up his guitar case that was leaning against him.

“I hope your guitar is okay.” Hux blurted out, still a little gobsmacked that this stranger was so handsome.

“No, it’ll be okay. A little knock wouldn't hurt it; it is a Gibson.” He gave the case a little pat before grabbing the handle. “Oh, I like your accent by the way, sounds kinda sexy.”

And with that the handsome stranger exited the subway at the next stop.

Now, Hux had only expected to see this man once. He sees hundreds of people a week just on the subway. What were the odds of seeing him again?

Well, a couple of weeks later, he saw that same man when he was working at his second job, at the strip club. He had lost shame about his stripping back in university, when his father cut him off it became the best way to earn money on a busy class schedule. However, partners in the past had shown their great distaste for his occupation, calling him a whore and demanding he quit for them. He had always refused, feeling hurt over the lack of trust in him, especially because he had never been dishonest about it. Hux was worried that this dark, handsome stranger would be the same, even though he probably would not ask the other man out or even remember him. So, he was sitting at the bar, chatting with Phasma, the bartender.

“So, are you going to tell me why you are avoiding that biker gang?” Phasma asked, pointing at the table that had Mr. Subway at it.

“You remember that guy from the metro I told you about? He’s sitting over there, and I’d rather not embarrass myself in front of him again. Besides, I can make up the money this weekend.”

“Really? I mean one of those guys had been staring at you since you took the pole earlier. Maybe it’s him?”

“No, and even if it was, I doubt that he would remember me at all.”

“Well, he is coming this way. Better put on a pretty smile.”

Hux glared at her. He turned his face away from the approaching man, wanting to

“Can I get a Long Island Iced Tea?” The sardonic voice that has permeated his recent dreams asked.

Hux cringed a little bit hearing it. He should not have been dreaming about this stranger reassuring and praising him. 

“Do I know you?” Mr. Subway asked, clearly directed at Hux. Hux took a deep breath before turning to face him, and he was as handsome as he remembered, eyebrow piercing and all.

“No, I don’t believe you do,” came his answer. Mr. Subway’s brown eyes gave the smallest flash of hurt before it vanished and he put on a cavalier smile.

“I’m Kylo, Kylo Ren,” he said. “And I’d remember your pretty hair anywhere. You bumped into me on the subway, but I wouldn’t expect you to remember, probably talk to guys twice as attractive as me everyday.”

“No! You are twice as attractive as them.” Hux had to actually cover his mouth after that. He wanted nothing more than to be swallowed by the floor.”

“Thanks, Red.” Kylo smirked. Phasma then placed his drink in front of him. Hux looked at her with pleading eyes, wanting to be put out of his misery. 

“So, Red, how’s it going?”

Hux found Kylo fairly easy to talk to – and by that he means causing him to ramble on and on about his projects at his other job and his cat. Kylo was kind enough to listen to him, and cheerly answered his own chit chat questions. Hux learned that he was a part of a band, where he played lead guitar. He worked at a mechanic’s shop, and his favorite color was black. 

“Hey, Kylo, we're gonna head out soon. But you can stay with your little boyfriend if you want.” One of Kylo’s friends interjected into their conversation.

“No, man, I’ll only be a minute.” Kylo replied. He then grabbed a napkin from the bar counter and scribbled down his number on it.

“Give me a call, I’d love to take you out sometime.”

Hux’s heart fluttered as he accepted the napkin with Kylo’s number on it. With a wink and a smirk, Kylo left the club with the rest of his friends.

“Armie’s got a crush!”

“Oh, shut up, Phas.”

lookin through my ask box again @dragonflies-draw-flame gave me several prompts so I’m doing something else for the actual ask but one of the suggestions was Hux in a skirt. I don’t think this is exactly what she wanted but I drew a book cover for a fic idea I had and probably will never write, festers Trans Male Hux in a skirt so

the coloring is very sloppy but like aesthetic idk

if you have any questions about the fic feel free to ask it’s not fully fleshed out so I may not have all the answers. I don’t think I’m gonna write it though it’s just gonna float around in my head.
