Hunt for the Wilderpeople. 2016. Быстрый обзор. Очередное милое творение от Тайки Вайтити. В одной из главных ролей - Сэм Нилл. Драмеди про дружбу. Лёгкий и тонкий ироничный юмор. Философское отношение к невзгодам и неудачам. В немолодую семью довольно приятной пары, живущей в сельской местности, привозят на опекунство неблагополучного подростка. Парень умный и не плохой, хотя и слегка странноватый. Женщина из пары с золотым се��дцем, а мужик хоть и мрачноватый, но тоже вроде как хороший. Курирует парня злобная тётка из службы опеки. Внезапно обстоятельство так складываются, что парень и мужик оказываются в лесу, где надолго застревают. Тётка объявляет мужика педофилом и организовывает массовые поиски, с привлечением полиции и наградой за поимку. А мужик с парнем сдруживаются и не особо хотят, что бы их нашли. Снято и сыграно всё хорошо. Сюжет немного однообразный и местами простоватый, но смотреть интересно. Мягкий добрый юмор создаёт хорошую атмосферу. Born in Northern Ireland on September 14, 1947, Sam Neill is a New Zealand actor who first established his acting career with films like Omen III: The Final Conflict (1981) and Dead Calm (1989) and television series such as Reilly, Ace of Spies (1983) and Amerika (1987). After being part of an all-star cast in the espionage thriller The Hunt for Red October in 1990, Neill took on his most famous character to date, playing Dr. Alan Grant, in Jurassic Park (1993), a role in which he later reprised in Jurassic Park III (2001). Some of his notable television work include Merlin, Peaky Blinders and The Tudors. Other notable films include The Jungle Book (1994), Event Horizon (1997), Bicentennial Man (1999) and the Academy Award-winning New Zealand drama The Piano (1993), Hunt for the Wilderpeople (2016), the TV miniseries Tutankhamun, Marvel's Thor: Ragnorok (2017), and the live-action animation Peter Rabbit (2018), in which he voices the characters Mr. McGregor and Tommy Brock. Para ajudar esse enredo meia-boca, o filme capricha nos personagens. Todos são interessantes, diferentes do padrão, e engraçados na sua maioria. O filme é da Nova Zelândia, terra do diretor/roteirista e isso contribui para o tom fora do padrão Hollywood para um filme de aventura/Comédia. Como a história não é o que nos gruda no filme, a experiência de assistir é agradável mas sem surpreender nem tediar. É bem "família".
