Some of my favourite parts from my “Lilith Hungergames AU”

1) “Mouse… Look away,” her mother whispered, the light from the screen flickering across all their faces, and Lilith didn’t look away. She just closed her eyes and felt her father let out a choked, painful sound, her mother tensing up and shaking. A canon was heard, the sound vibrating through Lilith’s bones.  Before she had closed her eyes, Flea had been walking into a clearing filled with giant stinging nettles, the colour of the leaves slightly off, white tips. Lilith had known the nettles immediately. Emmeline’s nettles. Lilith got up and made nettle tea, the leaves no longer stinging after being dried. 2) But it was an awful addiction, one she had formed while in the arena, watching people’s eyes widen and go unfocused when they realised how they were dying with no rescue, and that she had been the one to do it. She got to watch it plenty of times. As many times as it took for her to win. And then she did. She could go home. And she started to miss seeing people be afraid.  3) "Checkmate." "I don't know why I bother." "You offer a better challenge than most." It wasn't quite a smile, those were too rare to waste, but Lilith liked to think that if they weren't, Val would have smiled while saying it. "And I'm hopeless and crave recognition of my abilities," she sighed, tapping her chin as she leaned back, grey eyes still fixated on the board, going over the entire game, every move, finding weaknesses in it for next time. Vale would too, and next time she'd lose in a new way. "They all still think that the girl they saw before the game was "the real me"." "Still? Their stupidity is astounding, truly." "I like to think it's not their fault..." Vale looked up at her, a furrow in his brow, a quick blink of confusion, and then he scoffed and rolled his eyes. "Your empathy should have killed you." "My lack of sympathy saved me, I can assure you."

Taran sighs dramatically as he adjusts his tie in the mirror, his suit a dazzling deep purple pinstripe. “I just don’t get it,” he whines, “Such disrespect. I thought the peasants enjoyed their traditions and their culture. The games are tradition, the games are culture.”

He turns the the other, a frown set in his perfectly groomed face, “They should be grateful, they would have nothing without us. What’s a little sacrifice here and there? You can’t make an omlette without breaking a few skulls...”

A Need To Live - Harrison Osterfield

You felt your hands shake uncontrollably, trying to focus your eyes on the people who made a large circle around the glaring silver mountain that lay in front of all of you. Breathing was becoming difficult as you heard the loud deep voice counting down. You blinked a few times staring at the person to your left and right, neither were the boy you were looking for. A canon boomed and you felt yourself jet forward, against the words of your mentor. Your legs felt like jello as you ran towards the mountain of supplies, you grabbed a bag. Getting knocked down by another competitor, you moved your knee up into their stomach and tried pushing them off as they tried to bring a knife into you. Thats when blood came out of their mouth slowly, you kicked the body off staring at them before running into the woods.

Getting far enough into the woods before your legs collapsed, taking some deep breaths and looking around. You felt that your eyes were probably bloodshot and pupils blown. You felt the dried blood on you still and tried rubbing it off without water or help, just your sleeve. The bag on your back was a distant memory at this point, you could barely remember it was there honestly. You didn’t see the dirty blonde haired boy run, you weren’t even sure if he was still alive. Deep down you knew, you knew that you would have to find him and make sure one of you lived till the end.  You had a short to do list, it consisted of two thing.

This is just an idea I have in my docs that I kinda wanna make come to life since I have hated everything I have written for my mob!tom fanfic. I would deeply appreciate feedback. <3 T

Idea: Hunger Games AU

Chase would be a Tribute from District 5 ( Power ) and yes, he would probably try and get in with the Careers. Because he is at the end of a day a ruthless, remorseless, killer.  I think they would have to fear him, more than he would have to worry about them. All he'd have to do is pick them off with thoughtfully placed traps or cause incidences to occur where they would die  ( I figure his ISTPness would make him lean more toward winning rather than losing. Not to forget to mention his Enneagram being 8w7). Chase would be quite the opponent but also asset.  But he will inevitably stab everyone in the back. Also, in this verse he is around the age 15.

I'll do my best to add lots of fluff and make sure to make their relationship develop over time. :'))) Also, our boy Denki needs a little more attention.,,

Tamura felt ridiculous. The opening ceremonies were always frivolous to watch, she thought. No point in looking beautiful before walking into a blood bath. But nonetheless, her she was, standing on the small chariot next to her oh-so-silent male counterpart. District two was masonry and weapons production, so the stylists always made the outfits bold and solid. This year, they went an with exaggerated gold chest piece that mounted like armor, with strong shoulder pads that raised slightly, over a cascading metallic dress that looked like molten iron when she just barely moved. Her hair was slicked back, into a neat bun, jewels placed around her crown. Her face was painted with sharp angles, lined eyes that could cut, a daring red cupid’s bow.

She felt caged. She took in a deep breath, but found the chest piece restricted it. Great, just perfect.

She glanced around, needing a distraction from her building nerves. Up ahead she could see just the backs of district one’s costumes; golden, jeweled, of course. She wasn’t surprised. Then she glanced behind her, to district three, accidentally meeting eyes with the male tribute.
