I got “Absent-minded neighbor searching for their lost cat again” which suits my vibe pretty well (although this is a Keep Your Cat Indoors blog)

Now, what system do we use for this… City of Mist has a similar concept of living up to your literary archetype, but it’s probably too intense for a chill self-insert game. What about Lasers and Feelings, or something similar where you contrast your personal and plot-given abilities to accomplish tasks, or find unexpected brilliance when they line up perfectly?

Based on something i read awhile back where someone said that 'The Princess Bride' could be remade and possibly well, because the idea of it is the imagination of a child. That you could show the imagination of a child in countless, endless ways.

That stuck with me, and what if 'the Princess Bride' was a mini series. each episode a chapter, each chapter read by another grandparent, parent, child, to their ailing love one. A child sick in the hospital imagines her handsome doctor as Wesley. An elderly woman in hospice imagines herself and her husband young as Wesley and Buttercup as her husband reads to her. A little boy sees his towering, lovable uncle as Fezzik. A young man reads to his grandfather, who sees his best friend who passed in war as Inigo. A kid first imagines their new step-father as Prince Humperdink but slowly, the characters switch in their mind as they realize how much the man cares for them. Each episode the characters switch, connect, flow together, showing how imagination and love are an interconnecting thread in everyone's lives. The story of how a story like 'The Princess bride' not only brings people together, but is something that we all share, no matter who we are, where we came from, what we do, we all share something we love. The greatest love story ever told, truly becomes about love in all it's ceaseless forms.

The staff was left behind by someone else, but it wasn’t crafted to look like Orthanc. The tower was built to look like the cool staff that some Numenorean found under a pile of leaves.

Idea: look at the list of magical staves in your game! Draw each one, or take the official art if you think it would be an interesting challenge. Then create a mage tower based on each staff! You have the material of the staff - wood, metal, stone, ice - and the general shape, but also think about what a wizard with this staff might be able to accomplish on an architectural level. Maybe the Tower of Fire has a section that spirals up, and the wizard installed a Wall of Fire spell along the spiral! Maybe the Tower of Passage has several dead ends or detached floating sections that require a teleportation or Passwall spell to access!

Where in your world would you place each staff-tower? Who controls them?

Orthanc was already around when Saruman started living there, but he has a staff that looks just like the tower. Was the staff left behind by someone else, or did he have the staff made personally?

People like to romanticize the relationship between Zelda and Link in a whole “destined reincarnated soulmates” kind of way, but am I the only one who thinks it would be more interesting if Link didn’t love Zelda?

Like, think of it. Hylia is a Goddess, basically Hylian Jesus, and she loves this mortal man. A hero who stepped forward to defeat a Devil in the world’s hour of greatest need. But, he didn’t do it for her, he did it for the World. Even when he binds his soul to the Triforce, locking himself in an endless pattern of reincarnation with her against the Devil Demise, it’s not because he loves her. He loves Hyrule and its people.

But that’s okay, maybe in the next life they can be?

But it isn’t. Over and over, Hylia becoming Zelda, Link doesn’t love her. He loves Hyrule. He loves to dance to its music and ride its fields and wants to preserve it against the threat of Demise. He loves different women each time, and sometimes it is Hylia’s reincarnation, but they’re never the core of his heart.

It’s always Hyrule that he loves. From it’s savage and arid deserts to the cold and harsh tundra, he loves it, and steps forward to save it each time.

Duty, he calls it. Responsibility and Purpose, but Hylia/Zelda knows the truth. He’ll never love her the way she wants him to.

Hyrule will always be Link’s first and greatest love.

Thanks for reminding me that THIS was something that could happen to Danny if a fic/prompt adds the vivisection part:

Like yeah you see mentions of it in fics and prompts, some have even Oracle or Cyborg looking at GIW footage of that happening BUT WE CAN MAKE IT WORSE!

Like during the footage either YJ or JL or just the bats, witnessing this kid being cut open and also hearing the flatline that just a moment ago was beeping (very slow and at times but the sign that the kid was alive is there!) while the scientist prod at him like is nothing.

BUT WAIT I CAN MAKE IT WORSE!

(well u see I'm all into using all the sad of any character for drama and reveals)

The beeping STARTS AGAIN! After like 30 min of nothing, the kids body is alive (well half-alive) and then it flatlines again, and again, and again, only now is just 25 min that it takes for the kid to revive, then 20, then 15, then 10, then less than 5 minutes...

Oh and don't forget, this is the GIW we are talking about, that process along with testing and check ups probably took them a good portion of the day, there’s hours of footage!

When halfas are human they can’t use their ghost powers, right?

I like the headcannon that if a halfa dies in their human form, they are more dead that alive and they can now use one ghost power in their human form, or more if they die multiple times.

I want to see Danny using his ghostly wail in his human form because he dies on the GIWs dissection table

Or Dani turning invisible while she was roaming Texas during a mall shooting because she got into a train wreck somewhere is east Asia

Just some ideas! If someone wants to use this idea then plz tag me :))
