He actually got through Golgotha, and then I thought: well, since I'm on a roll, may as well keep exploring rather than rush ahead with the MSQ, right? I wandered around slightly, and found a cave that just kept going down. I decided to feel cocky, and plundered the depths, conking everything in my path. I met... some legendary pariah, asked him to join me, and we merrily went about our way, conking everything.

Then, on the 22th floor down, we met some "trining lamprey." It kept cloning itself or something, because it was never-ending. Great! Easy exp! But then it said "Your health has dropped below 40%" all of the sudden and I realized the exp wasn't so easy. I burned through all my salves, and then decided... yeah, let's make a break for it. I decided to try to escape forward—maybe these things were coming from a nest?—and forward was... some kind of neckbeard or something. Hulkbeard, something like that. He sprayed ice everywhere, so things got a little more diced than likeable. I tried to escape up that top-right corner, but the next screen was like one pixel deep. I had to desperately use some weird tonics I wasn't sure what they did and try to run for it... but, alas!

Rip Urdru. You were objectively the best.

...although, honestly, I could've run away a lot sooner. I'll level with ya, I'm kinda into starting over, and this game's got starting over built into the gameplay loop, so I didn't feel bad letting his legend end here. The next guy will go one step farther—maybe even go back to Grit Gate and turn in the quest after Golgotha!—and then I'll throw them away eating some bad yuckwheat or something. It's how I do.

Anyway, that's Qud for now. I'll let you know if anything good happens.
