"Min-young Hurry up! Dae-Ho is coming!" Your friend, Jun-Hee, shouts from the bedroom, laying down on your bed as you finish getting ready in the bathroom. "Okay, way the fuck up! Jeez..." You respond, running your hand through your hair and then applying your best perfume. When you come out of the bathroom, Jun-Hee is pretending to sleep in your bed, with her arms open and her mouth open. You roll your eyes and grab a pillow, throwing it right at the girl's face, who was startled and stood up coughing. "You looked like Christ the Redeemer, idiot" You say, putting on your coat and Jun-Hee frowns "Huh?" You rolled your eyes and grabbed your bag, watching Jun-Hee stand up and fix her hair. "Forget it. Let's go?" Jun-Hee nodded, and left the room, muttering a "finally."

It was a warm July night. You and your best friend, Jun-Hee, were on vacation from college, and to "celebrate", your other best friend, Dae-Ho insisted that you go out together. You and Jun-Hee accepted immediately, excited to start the vacation in the best way. Dae-Ho offered to pick you up and take you both home, since you two shared an apartment. The drive there was quite lively. Dae-Ho was driving and Jun-Hee was in the passenger seat while you sat in the back, in the middle seat. The music in the car was loud and the atmosphere was really good, you felt like it was going to be a good night. When you entered the building, the loud music entered their ears, causing a slight confusion for the first few seconds. The dark green light of the room, sleeping a little difficult to see when if you enter so suddenly.

Jun-Hee, who was between you and Dae-Ho took your hand, and intertwined her arm with Dae-Ho's. You didn't mind the gesture, holding her hand. Dae-Ho took Jun-Hee's hand, guiding us through the place to an empty table. The table was round and large, and the subjects was a kind of large sofa, making a half moon around the table. You sat down and chatted for a bit before Dae-Ho got up and said he was going to get drinks. As soon as the boy turned his back, Jun-Hee came closer to you and said, "He looks nice today..." She said, looking the boy up and down as he spoke to the barista. You glanced at her sideways and let out a laugh, crossing your arms. "Yeah...And?" The short-haired girl shrugged, and smiled innocently

"I'm just saying..." Before you could respond, Dae-Ho comes back with the drinks in his hand, carefully placing them on the table. "Here you go... I didn't bring you beer because I know you don't like it, Jun-Hee. But I brought you a margarita." Dae-Ho said, sitting down next to the girl. You smiled and sipped your beer, kicking Jun-Hee under the table who had been paralyzed by the boy's speech. "Oh... Thank you, Dae-Ho... That's really nice" She said, smiling shyly, which made the other boy blush. For the past 5 months, the two have been in a certain "flirtation" that they both swear is not noticeable. You cleared your throat, and the two seem to wake up from a romantic trance. "Not in front of my beer, please." Dae-Ho lets out a laugh and Jun-Hee gives you the middle finger smiling ironically.

Just as Dae-Ho was about to speak, Thanos, a college friend, appears with Min-su and Nam-gyu, and...an unknown girl? Pretty, very pretty, without a shadow of a doubt. But... You had never seen her in college."Hey my friends!" Thanos spoke loudly, obviously a bit upset. You looked over your shoulder, and Thanos sat down next to you, putting his arm around your shoulders. Nam-gyu greeted Dae-Ho and Jun-Hee with a shake of hand and sat next to Dae-Ho. Min-su sat next to Thanos, forcing Thanos and you to move closer to the side. You noticed that the unknown girl sat down next to Nam-gyu after greeting Jun-Hee and Dae-Ho with a nod. When the girl sat down, she sank slightly into the seat and reached into the pockets of her leather jacket and your eyes met.

You exchanged glances until she smirked and winked at you. You let out a nasal laugh and looked away, looking at the purple-haired boy next to your, smoking - what your assumed it was weed -Thanos looks at you and offered you the join, while slowly exhaling the smoke from his mouth. You refused and move your back away from the cushioned material of the sofa and pick up your beer, sipping from it. You exchanged glances with Jun-Hee, mouthing "Help me...", making her laugh and sip her drink to cover it up. When Thanos takes his arm off your shoulders to wrap another join, your sighed in relief and runned your hands through your hair, feeling free. Once again, your eyes meet the short hair girl, seeing that she was trying to hide the laughter that escaped her lips by putting her finger on her piercing, and her chin slightly lowered, but her eyes fixed on you.

You let out a small laugh and placed your arms on the table. To your delight, the girl lifts her head and runs her hand through her hair and looks at Thanos. "Thanos... Can you and Min-su go get drinks for me and Nam-gyu?" Nam-gyu was going to say something, but she elbowed his arm and continued to look at Thanos, with an innocent, obviously fake smile. "Please...?" The girl asked, with a soft voice. Thanos touched Min-su's arm who immediately stood up and passed his joint to Nam-gyu who immediately accepted it and put it in his mouth. "Don't smoke all that shit at me, I'll be right back!" Thanos said and stood up, pushing Min-su to go with him. You sighed in relief at finally having a reprieve from Thanos. You look at the time on your phone and sigh, seeing that it's only midnight.

As your chin lifts, you feel the urge to go to the bathroom and shift uncomfortably on your seat. "Does anyone know where the bathroom is?" You ask, to no one in particular. Dae-Ho and Jun-Hee shook their heads and Nam-gyu was too out of it, but the girl looked at you and stood up. "I know where it is, come on." You nodded and grabbed your bag, following the girl. "So...You don't recognize me?" The girl asked, looking to the side, meeting your eyes, but because of the loud music, you didn't hear. "What?!" You asked, trying not to bump into people or get lost in the crowd. Se-Mi took your hand, her touch gentle but firm as she guided you through the crowd. You were surprised at how close you were to the bathroom and how easy and short the path there was. As soon as Se-Mi opened the door, a peaceful silence settled over the place. "Go" She said, nodding toward the nearly empty cabins,putting her hands in the pockets of her leather coat, leaning against the wall.

You nodded and walked into a booth, locking the door, trying to think of what the girl was trying to tell you. You shook your head, as if that would clear the thoughts away and focused on doing your business. When you were done, you cleaned yourself up and flushed the toilet, leaving the stall. Se-Mi was in the same position as before, with her head leaning against the wall and her eyes closed, and her breathing calm. For a few seconds you let yourself admire the girl: Her short brown hair, the brown eyes, the piercing in her nose, in her lip... The black choker around her neck and the silver necklaces. Beautiful. She was extremely pretty and... Familiar. "Do you want a picture? I think it lasts longer" The girl says with a mischievous smile on her lips. Her voice comes out calm, but full of teasing that made you roll your eyes.

You walked past her, going to the sinks washing hands "Convinced..." You answered quietly, with a small smile on your lips. The taller one hears and lets out a laugh, pushing her back away from the wall, now sticking her shoulder to the wall. You looked at her through the reflection in the mirror and used the water in your hands to run through your hair. "You look familiar..." The girl raised her eyebrows, tilting her head. "You only noticed that now?" You frowned and turned on your heel, now looking at her. "Where do we know each other from?" You ask, making the girl laugh heartily and cross her arms. "We were in the same class in high school... We've had lunch together and we're in the same class again, but in college" You opened your mouth in shock and let out a laugh. How had you not remembered?

You shook your head and leaned your back against the wall, crossing your arms. "Sorry... I really had no idea... I feel a little stupid right now." You let out a laugh that was accompanied by the girl, who slightly tilted her body as she laughed. "So...Se-Mi... Right?" The girl nods and you smile in relief. "Okay, At least I got the name right." Se-Mi let out a nasal laugh and a comfortable silence settled there. You could somehow feel a tension between the two, just by the looks they were exchanging. You looked away, looking down at your shoes. But even so, you could feel Se-Mi's eyes roaming every cell in your body. You smile, and decide to play the same game as her. "Do you want to take a picture? It will last longer..." Your eyes meet Se-Mi’s, noticing her surprised look. She pushes herself off the wall, moving closer to you.

“Maybe…Why? Does it bother you?" You look the girl up and down and lean the back of your head against the wall behind you. "Actually, yes, I don't like being a model. Enjoy the view now." The girl bites her lip, looking you up and down. "Nice belly button piercing." Her voice comes out husky and low, making your hair stand on end. "Nice lip piercing..." You reply, feeling her more close to you. Her hand goes to her neck and your hand grabs the girl's coat. However, just as you can feel the girl's breathing, the door opens and Jun-Hee pokes her head inside the bathroom. "Oh...Sorry. But Dae-Ho is feeling sick. We need to go..." Se-Mi sighed and walked away, running her hands through her hair. "Ask Thanos for my number..." You said, giving the girl a sideways smile, which was returned with a wink that made you blush slightly. When you left the bathroom, Jun-Hee grabbed your arm, following your steps quickly. "What was that?" She asks, certainly curious and shocked. "Shut up. I'll tell you later." It was the only one you managed to answer, before going to Dae-Ho, and he took you home.

One where Namgyu is alive and well, another where Geum-ja watches Namgyu die. OK let me talk

sorry if I wrote the Namgyu dying thing wrong. This is just based on my personal experience with OD(I thew up a lot and damn it hurt) (don't do drugs guys)

Nam-Gyu is at rock bottom. Like, he's on the verge of letting himself die. After getting out of a pretty terrifying game, he realises that he has more than enough money to go home, pay off his debts and do whatever. He take a pill. He doesn't feel any better. He decides he's done with this. They put him against the only other normal person here! Atleast MGcoin died. That man was annoying. Apparently the old lady had to kill her son. That's quite sad. He can hear her crying. He made sacrifices, but he did not cry. He wasn't upset, no. He was just worried. He knows he's not going to live. If this game puts him against someone, imagine if they do it again and he doesn't know how to play! He just needs to snatch that money and run like hell outta there.

Pain. Lots of pain. That was a stupid idea. Why did he do that. He feels like absolute shit. He thinks he brought something up, he's not sure. His jacket is stained.

Geum-ja is outside the big door. Knocking on it, going to the side doors..

Min-su sits in his bed. He's looking over it at the corner where Namgyu is. Namgyu is dying. He knows it. Too much blood. Not safe amount. He's the only one left. Of course, the dumb coward is left. If he had voted O, then nothing bad would have happened. Se-mi, thanos.. Gyeong-Su's couldn't be stopped. Now Namgyu. Even though Namgyu wants to kill him, he's the only other person Min-su could actually be around. The circle guys come in. The circle guys bring a box. The circle guys pick Namgyu up. Namgyu's half-open eyes lock with his. He might be dead, but it feels like he's staring him down. Angry. Upset. How could he let it happen. He's a horrible person. Horrible friend. Park Min-su. The failure. The crybaby. The coward. He watches Namgyu be lowered into the box. The nice old lady from 456s group doesn't look happy. He hears someone shout. Then he hears the piggy bank lower.

Ah, so they don't avoid their in-laws at all costs. That's good for Martha and Sam! Could not be him and So-yeon's parents-- especially after the whole 'they kidnapped my son' thing.

It was a little weird to him that David didn't seem to ever know what was going on with his sister, considering even if he didn't f--king ASK his own sister told him all of her business. Maybe that was more normal? Mu-yeol wasn't sure how A. human families; and B. western families worked. He knew he and his sister were closer than most human Korean siblings he ever knew because in fairy culture there was absolutely no gender essentialism in terms of 'girl interests' and 'boy interests.' They did everything together, the twins did everything together, they all four had mutual friends, and when they were all old enough to actually hangout together they all four did.

The Bae siblings were all four close, and to lesser extent you could add their cousins in there even now with Mu-yeol in England, Won-shik in Seoul, and Su-mi and Jun-ha home in Daegu. Jun-ha and both of his partners worked part-time in the city, both of Su-mi's partners did, and Su-mi sent her children to human school, so everyone had phones now like Mu-yeol and Nam-min did. The family WhatsApp chat was always going.

The years between him leaving Korea and phones equipped with wifi and WhatsApp had been rough. Getting any kind of communication between Korea and Swynlake, aigoo, so difficult. Smartphones and WhatsApp changed everything.

It wasn't the same as seeing them in person, and getting to see everyone a couple years ago only made him miss them more. Still, talking to each other at least every other day in the group chat was the norm. Mu-yeol and Su-mi called each other personally at least every third day, four days was unheard of.

Though, David never spoke about his siblings with any animosity. Maybe it was more normal for siblings to only check in now and then. The only other human friends he had with siblings were Ting-Ting and Jun, who were, crucially also from recent East Asian immigrant backgrounds; and maybe more importantly, also took on some of the job of raising them.

...huh. If he had a fiver for every time he had a friend who took care of their siblings he'd only have fifteen pounds but it's weird it's happened three times, right?

"Ah, we're aware of Christmas in the hollow because of the proximity to town but we don't--" Mu-yeol's cheeks flushed. He hated -- no, seriously, hated -- reminding people he was a fairy. It was easy for him to talk about being Korean. Not so easy to talk about being a fairy even if both things were equally obvious just looking at him. "Fairies have different names for months and seasons. They call winter 'slumber' in this hollow because for a lot of spring hollow fairies there's less work to do. Uh. Spring holl-- that's what Enchantra's hollow is considered. You have spring and winter hollows and fairies. Anyway. They celebrate the start of slumber with a big four-day festival from the 22nd-25th."

Aish, why did talking about being a fairy literally make his heart rate increase like this? What kind of messed up fight or flight response was that?

"I've got Christmas presents for the relevant people of course. When in Rome or whatever you say." He sipped at his tea, then shook his head before explaining the next bit. "Christmas isn't culturally the same in human Korea either and it doesn't exist in hollows there at all. While all fairies here for centuries have interacted with Christian (at least culturally so) humans, Christianity came to Korea much later and it's a minority of the population. The aspects of fairy society back home that evidence human interaction pull from Buddhist, Confucian, and different shaman traditions, right? Koreans generally treat Christmas like Valentine's Day, But There's Snow."

"Our big family-oriented holidays are Seollal and Chuseok. So nobody's working out whose got custody of the sister that lives in the woods on December 25th." Mu-yeol said, trusting he'd gather that one legend (a fellow person who lived in the woods) was recognizing another.

What opinion would Eren have on each character and who would he think that had worse death on squid game

okok, imma go from least favorites, to favorites. And then I’ll talk ab their deaths.

Cho Sang-woo: at the beginning of the series, he liked sang-woo and rooted for him. He excused some of his behavior with him “just being calculated.” He grew to dislike him when he traded his humanity for money and abused of other people’s kindness.

Oh Il-nam: Eren kinda thought he was a bit fishy at the start, but that’s just bc of all the phycological thrillers he watches. He knew he would be important but completely forgot about it when he ‘died’. He was kinda shocked to see him alive, but not too much. Like, he didn’t gasp or anything.

In-ho: thinks he has a superiority complex and doesn’t like it. “Oh just because your mask is different you think you all that, huh?” He guessed it was the stepdad of Gi-hun’s daughter under that mask at first. Made a whole theory ab it too. He’s so dumb😖😖

Jang Deok-su: doesn’t like him one bit. The second he saw how he treated sae-byeok, he disliked him. He knows the game is about survival, but he still doesn’t like the way he abused of his power and strength.

The Salesman: thinks he’s hot LMAOO. Definitely quirked an eyebrow when he said, “you can use your body to pay up.” Doesn’t really think anything of him. Yeah, he’s shitty for luring people in, but that’s all he knows about his character.

Han Mi-nyeo: finds her annoying, he had to double check that bathroom scene when she went to smoke bc “ain’t no mf way.” Constantly asked if she truly had an unnamed child, or if it was just her being…her. Although he cringes a lot when she’s on screen, he can’t help but laugh too, she’s funny, he’ll giver her that.

Ji-yeong: liked how chill her character was, in comparison with everyone else.

Hwang Jun-ho: if someone made Eren’s anxiety skyrocket in this show, it was this mf💀 when he first followed the van that took the mc to the game, he kept yelling at the tv “call for backup, don’t go alone. Tell them where you are.” His legs would tremor every time he’d take that damn mask off. But he overall, liked that he decided to listen to the ‘crazy man’ (mc) and go out of his way, to not only help him, but gather as much evidence as possible, even if he put his life at risk.

Seong Gi-hun: didn’t like him at first, actually, he fucking hated his guts. Doesn’t like where his priorities are—considering he missed his daughter’s birth; and didn’t like that he, at his old age, leached off his mom and dared to have any kind of attitude towards her. He slowly warmed up to his character after seeing how kind and helpful to others he was, for example, II-nam, sae-byeok, Ali, etc. He liked his development, and that he truly felt the heaviness and cost of having all that money under his possession. Got pissed when he prioritized other people rather than his family, again.

Kang Sae-byeok: oh boy. He has a lil crush on her, but don’t we all? Her character kinda, KINDA, if you squint a little, reminds him of Mikasa—just some parts of it. Everything she did for her family, how she always kept her guard up, and how tough she was, reminds him of her. Especially how protective she was. He loved it when she reminded the mc to not stoop down to sang-woo’s level. Cried again bc her kindness was taken advantage of by the man she let live.

Abdul Ali: he likes him the most because he has a few qualities that remind him of Armin. The way he’s respectful and kind, but gets fucked over for it, is something he watched happen way too many times with his best friend. It had him sobbing how he almost won, but his kindness made him blindly trust sang-woo. He was so close and he had a family, who he cared so much about, waiting for him at home. basically, sacrificed himself for them but ended up dying without ever getting to explain anything… sound familiar? sorry :(

Who Eren thinks had the saddest deaths:

Sang-woo: Eren took sang-woo’s suicide at the end as a “way of running away because he knew he’d leave empty-handed.” do I need to say more? he sees him as a traitor.

Il-nam: eh, it was obvious, look at him. He didn’t really care but, he liked how he was proven wrong (ab the whole homeless man, people’s kindness, thing, blah, blah, blah.) as he died.

Jun-ho: “HE’S NOT DEAD!!” Is what Eren screams every time you bring him up💀 he has this whole theory on how in-ho (conceited mask man) purposely shot him in the shoulder so that he wouldn’t die, just like how jun-ho shot in-ho in the shoulder too, and he’s fine!! He’s fully convinced that after he fell in the water, he just swam back to shore🤩🤩 he thinks he’s gonna make an appearance in season two, and help the mc.

Deok-su: He said, “fucking finally.” Was tired of, not only seeing mi-nyeo get humiliated by him but of seeing ppl having to sleep with one eye open😖

Mi-nyeo: liked how she died with style and how she took deok-su with her LMAOO. Didn’t really care, he was too focused on the game.

Ji-yeong: he knew she was gonna die eventually, but he didn’t know it was gonna be so soon and that he’d cry from it. Her sacrifice was what got to him. He understands. *wink* *wink*

Ali: didn’t cry bc of how shocked he was. Didn’t think Sang-woo was capable of doing that. Every time he thinks about him, he just thinks of him going where he agreed to meet up with sang-woo and looking around for him😖😖 he’s so innocent.

Sang-byeok: this one made him bawl. Probably because of the build-up. He knew it was gonna happen soon. The fact that it was sang-woo didn’t make it any better. When she was trying to get Gi-hun to promise to care for her brother, he could barely see the tv anymore due to his blurry vision.
