-Ren Pingsheng in Detail-
Book series: I’m more dangerous than you.
Tumblr media
(Warning: Detailed info about murder, images shown contains blood and gore, this is all fictional)
About Ren: Ren Pingsheng is a substitute Chinese language teacher at Huanyang University, because the previous teacher is on a Maternity leave. She is known to be the most knowledgeable Chinese language Professor in the University. She kills people based on a crime novel written by Jiang Wanshu. Basically in short she recreates the novel in real life. (In the story Jiang falls in love with Ren)
Murder 1: There was this debt collector that was bothering Jiang because her father owed money to them. So Ren cut off his left hand and removed his heart, then she wrote on a small piece of paper “Karma’s a bitch” folded that piece of paper and put it in his mouth. She then dragged the corpse to a place called “Yokohama Beach” and took a photo of the body and left the corpse there.
Murder 2: There was a bully named Nie Jiaxuan she would bully Jiang. One rainy night when Nie was in a dark alleyway, Ren approached her and spoke to her. The situation escalated and Nie was backing away from Ren but she tripped and fell. While she was on the ground, Ren stomped on her both of her hands and hamstrings causing them to snap open and bleed out. She died of loss of blood, Ren took a picture of the corpse and put the body in a bag. Then she went to her unfinished sculpture and stuffed the corpse in the sculpture and finished the rest of the sculpture. Then placed it in a museum, and later on someone accidentally broke the sculpture causing the corpse to be discovered.

. .
Jiang was staying at Ren’s house for a few days and starts to figure out that someone is recreating her novel in real life but she doesn’t know who it is. She wrote in her novel and killed the serial killer to finally put an end to all this. Once Ren read it she got angry that Jiang decided to just kill off the killer like that, so she went to Jiang and choked her until she went unconscious. Then chained her up to the bed, and when Jiang woke up they talked for a bit (well more like Jiang cursing at Ren) Ren unchains her and tells her that she’s not allowed to leave and that she has to update the novel and write the wonderful resurrection of the killer. Jiang goes against her orders and Ren takes a knife and slices off Jiang’s pinky finger on her right hand. Ren threatens to kill Jiang’s best friend and eventually out of fear Jiang decides to update the novel.
Murder 3: Jiang had another bully named Huang Qian, she tried to make everyone in the University believe that Jiang is responsible for the murders. Qian received letters from a secret admirer and she was going to find out who it is by meeting them where the letter said to go. Little did she know that it was all just a trick. Ren appeared behind her and hit her on the back of the neck with a baseball bat, causing her to fall unconscious. (This was at night) Ren then drags her to a classroom and chains her to the desk. When Qian woke up she started yelling and trash talking about Jiang so Ren kicks her in the face causing her nose to bleed. Ren decides to play a game of Russian roulette with Qian, but instead of a real gun it’s a nail gun. The rules are when it’s Qian’s turn Ren will fire the gun at her hands and when it’s Ren’s turn she’ll point the gun to her own temple. They both took 2 turns and Qian was the only one that got shot twice, her screaming alerted Rujun (Jiang’s best friend). Rujun was at the University at night to clear her head. Rujun finds Qian and gets tased by Ren. Ren then uses a Professional Craniotomy Device to make a cranial incision and took out the brain tissue and replaced it with soil and flower petals (specifically Poppies). Then Ren takes them outside and Qian is placed in a chair, with Rujun in another chair in front of her. When the police get there in the morning, they lock up Rujun and in the cell she develops PTSD.
..
(She killed more people than this but these are the murders that were shown. Also there’s more to the story)

To: @bunny-n3zuk0, here’s more info about what we were talking about since you wanted to know more about the murders Ren committed. I was going to include more but I decided to be merciful and let this digest in your brain. I have to be careful to not overwhelm you.

LiHuan's so lucky to have a very loving parents that showered him with so much warmth and care. He grew up to be such a warm person beneath his stoic appearance and taciturn personality that he was able to share and channel all the love he received to YuYang.

to quench my thirst for 2gether, i've taken on reading mangas and manhuas again. after catching up on 19 days i came across Here U Are and finished the whole thing in a couple of days. i'm so excited for the new chapters but this will be a grueling test of patience (why did i bingeread?!?!)
anyway to those out there, it's such a fucking sweet story. Li Huan reminds me of Park Saeroyi from Itaewon Class: tall and big, quiet but straightforward, innocent yet knows how to scheme too! and he patted Yu Yang's head to comfort him! he's such a big goofball i wish i knew someone like him in real life. anyway, the other couples interest me so much too. their stories are gripping, but right now i'm especially invested in Chu Huan Wen and Ji Yuan's story; Huan Wen really gave me an uneasy feeling at first like is he a psychotic murderer or something; but then the last few chapters really proved me wrong. he's just a very soft guy who seems afraid to rock the boat of his own life. :( i hope things change fast for him, and i hope the story makes it so that Ji Yuan naturally realizes something in Huan Wen too!
speaking of murders, i was so cynical because i think at the back of my head i always thought of what Yu Yang said in chaapter 3:
Tumblr media
i mean if you start a story like that you'd really want to read the whole longass manhua in one go, wouldn't you?
now i'm thinking they will really be involved, as in they might be witnesses (would it be a hate crime against the lgbtq community? that would seem fitting, i guess). ok, that's my thought now but before i was really creeped out by Huan Wen because he's so reserved that i thought he might murder Ji Yuan!
anyway, the rest of that really scared me too:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
with these things it is impossible to let go of the manhua. 😭😭😭 i guess i'll just have to wait every week then. good luck to me
too late now, i fucking love each couple — even Wang Wang and XiaoYi!!!
one of my favorite parts:
Tumblr media
I was so soft here!!!! this was when Yu Yang went home brokenhearted and unexpectedly seens Li Huan there!!! i think at that point something in Yu Yang already clicked. Li Huan would have been with him, always to stand by him, wherever he went; in the past, at present, and for the future ahead.
needless to say i've cried several times already. i need a break 😭

Thoughts on Here U Are V.1 Ch.65
These last several chapters I’ve been starting to let go of the idea that Yu Yang still has authentic feelings for Lin Xiang, so much as he’s been trying to hold onto older feelings.
I think the purpose is twofold in that even if he’s now unattainable, Yu Yang gets to hang onto some kind of romantic inclinations while he staves off Li Huan’s advances.
Which leads me to what I think is the second reason he keeps shoving Li Huan away--He doesn’t want this fresh-faced, good-natured kid to have to go through all of the derision and hate that Yu Yang’s had to experience.
And while I certainly don’t want any of that for Li Huan, either, I think he’d be better equipped to handle it on account of his father. He’s been raised lovingly, and has ongoing guidance. Whether or not Li Huan’s dad has any inclination that his son isn’t straight, I’m sure he’d support him.
It’d be great to see Li Huan bring Yu Yang home, but first they need to establish some kind of relationship, mrghhh. XD   It could be platonic, even, if that’s what Yu Yang needs right now, but I’d love for him to meet Li Huan’s dad and learn what it’s like to have a supportive parent.
Shoot, I just want his own parents to treat him right! His mom needs to stop listening to all of the bullshit around her, and to stand up for her son. As far as Yu Yang’s dad... I can’t tell yet if he’s a Genuine Asshole who is ashamed of his son, or if he’s been raised in this buttoned-up society and is pissed off at the way his son’s being treated, and now he’s handling it really fucking poorly. I hope it’s the latter and that he can get over it, but either way, no free passes from this reader.

Rating: E
Pairing: Li Huan/Yu Yang
Word Count: 4317
Excerpt:
Li Huan hums again, his voice deep but strange. He lifts one of his hands, dragging his fingers lightly over the skin of Yu Yang's thighs, and the action makes Yu Yang's breath catch.
It's gentle, inquisitive even, but the pads of Li Huan's fingers leave trails of fire in his wake, and a restless heat settles in Yu Yang's stomach, vibrating through his skin.
Neither of them say anything. They don't have to.
I 100% blame @commodorecliche for ruining my life with this comic.
Also, ya’ll remember that art Djun did of Yu Yang in Li Huan’s shirt?  Yeah.  Enjoy that smut that should have followed.
