(Supplementary Concept)

Pairing: Romantic

Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Clingy behavior, Possessive/Protective behavior, Yandere hybrid, Stalking, Kidnapping, Mentions of "Mate", Implied forced relationship.

Hiccup is naturally clingy in this AU due to the fact his hybrid type mates for life.

You originally didn't mind his behavior... which allowed him to try courting you.

After all, you helped him when he was injured!

You obviously cared somewhat.

You two were so close as kids!

But now, as you two are both adults and Hiccup keeps attempting courting ritual, you've neglected him.

You drift away from him... pushing him away and ignoring him.

You're never near him anymore... and it hurts.

He's so used to having your company that he feels his chest ache when you ignore him.

You may not want him around... but he still takes up stalking to be around you in some capacity.

Ignoring him or running drives him insane.

It doesn't help that he's at the age of finding a mate.

The only partner he wants is ignoring him.

Even if he tries to lead you into his nest, or push you in the right direction in any way, you run.

Hiccup may tolerate it due to his nature.

However... eventually the hybrid may just snap.

Before you know it, he's confronting you with a frown.

"Hey! What's been up with you!?"

He isn't normally that confrontational.

You're normally not scared of him.

But when he looks at you with his pupils into slits, teeth showing in a snarl, you're scared.

"Is what I'm doing not enough!? The gifts? The affection? Is there another hybrid?"

He asks you question after question... if you try to ignore him or run, he isn't letting it happen anymore.

He'll block you off, confronting you until he gets an answer.

He tries not to be forceful... even in this state.

He just wants answers.

Why do you ignore him?

Why do you run?

Do you think he won't make you happy?

He's... persistent at first.

Although, if you continue to ignore him, neglect him, or run?

He'll snap... tackle you... and take you into the nest/den he made for you both.

Surely you don't hate him, right!?

He doesn't think he can handle that...

So... there's no need to worry!

He'll get rid of his rivals, both human and hybrid.

He'll give you more gifts!

He'll take care of you... he'll give you all the affection you could ever want!

He'll show you he can be the perfect mate for you...

You'll see... you just have to sit still and let him show you.

"Don't leave me, dear... I love you too much to just let you go!"

He's intended to have all skrill abilities, though lacks any abilities from the monstrous nightmare, or whispering death genus.

Behold my httyd hybrid!

A deathsong(my favorite) and a scaldron

It's a dragon hunter. It's lower body is designed to resemble water when a dragon is flying from above while its upper body will resemble a large fish. Now ether a dragon flying above will just see a big fish and keep flying or a big meal and go for a bite.

That however is exactly what this siren wants. It's face has drips of resin and shiny scales to draw the attention of dragons. And when one does get close enough it'll use its scaldron and deathsong breath attack! Spraying boiling resin at the wings of the other dragon where it will stick to the wings and cause them to fall. At which point the siren will feast!

Let's be honest, a hybrid can pair with either a human or another hybrid.

Hiccup may pair better with a hybrid like you due to a familiar anatomy.

Especially if you assume pheromones come into play.

But, yes, I imagine you two would meet like the movie.

You are a Light Fury hybrid that has lived all/most of her life in The Hidden World.

The Hidden World in this AU is a place where regular dragons and hybrids tend to thrive.

This is because the two species have a good connection with one another due to their dragon genes.

You most likely left to explore, only to be hunted by... well... hunters.

You had taken refuge on an island, one you had no idea had other hybrids and dragons.

This is where you meet Hiccup.

As this Hiccup is like regular Hiccup and Toothless, his courting is still goofy and inexperienced.

Although this would be the first time Hiccup saw a female hybrid.

For example, Astrid is in this AU as a Deadly Nadder hybrid.

This is, however, Hiccup's first time seeing a female Light Fury... or any Light Fury at all.

Night Furies are still rare, his father and mother are most likely hybrids (or adoption I guess) so there isn't many.

Which is sort of what makes Hiccup excited about you as he hasn't seen many of the Fury line.

He notices your injuries and offers you a home on Berk, you're hesitant... even hostile at first.

But soon you relent and follow the fellow hybrid somewhere safer.

Your recovery and life in this new place is what grows Hiccup's obsession.

As you recover he makes subtle advances to court you.

Gifts, dances/displays, affectionate gestures, etc.

You most likely don't reciprocate but try to keep him as an ally and a friend.

He doesn't give up though.

Hiccup is overprotective of you due to you being an outsider that's been attacked before.

He naturally also shows possessive behavior due to your similarities in species and his wish to take you as his mate.

Which no doubt means he reacts aggressively to other male hybrids around you.

*cough* Snotlout... *cough*

Hiccup tries to resolve issues in a non-violent way due to being the "Alpha", but he is fully capable of it.

For example, he would kill Dragon Hunters if they tried to hurt you again.

That or he will fight off other hybrids if they showed any interest in you.

He doesn't mind the battle scars or blood...

He's protecting you... he claims you.

Hiccup definitely tries to show interest towards you through every little actions.

He follows you when hunting, he takes flies with you, he us always close by.

You can tell with the affection and respect he gives that he's interested in you as a partner.

Hiccup would try not to force anything despite his animalistic desires.

He would probably bring up children at some point due to you both being in about your 20s... a ripe age for dragon hybrids to mate.

He tries to be subtle but he may also be manipulative with it at times.

You may even take him to visit The Hidden World to see where you grew up.

Other hybrids and dragons are hesitant of him due to being an outsider but grow to trust him.

Hiccup doesn't mind if he settles down on Berk or The Hidden World as long as it's with you.

Truth is he doesn't plan on having you take any other mate.

Night Furies and Light Furies mate for life.

He isn't going to take anyone else but you.

Hiccup's end goal is no doubt to make a family with you.

He plans to take his time courting you... he doesn't care how long it takes.

Your species is compatible so you'd no doubt have Night Light (Night/Light Fury)Hybrids for kids.

Hiccup looks forward to such a thought.

You two would make a wonderful family...

Wow !! The trio finally found someone, they have been flying for a few months but then there was a dark black and white creature quickly flying in front of Patches trying to get her attention so his sisters are following them from a far. Patches has never seen a dragon this stunning and beautiful at the same time, Her scales were dark as the sky and her eyes were glorious green as the grass her ear nubs were so pointy and short. This is Ashani the 20 y/o female Pure Night fury with vitiligo she has left her home to find a mate too, then the sky got darker so Ashani land on a abandoned forest and the other following after her Landing in the same area of the forest where her was Patches and Ashani started to get to know each other for weeks While Echo watching them in the background being a protective little sister while Freya is up a tree getting some sleep from flying so long. Ashani thinks that Patches is childish, a sweetheart and good genetics his eyes are so blue like lightning in a storm also very muscular and strong to protect her and his future babies. But before anything else they have to do a courtship dance in the sky.
