very random (possibly weird) haikyuu headcanons

warning: i made this on the spot and i’m really tired right now so things might not make sense. anyways, enjoy :) 

(also this might include spoilers!! from the manga)

hinata probably hurried to school with his sister’s bag/randosel at least once and didn’t realize until the second period where his teacher called him out. 

kageyama somewhat smells like milk and his go-to sea breeze scent is ‘soap’ 

sugawara was sleep deprived during finals week that he showed up to volleyball practice in his pajamas and left his pe uniform at home. (i can see ennoshita and yamaguchi doing the same thing) 

asahi probably learnt ballet, classic piano, violin, and judo as a child because he couldn’t choose one extracurricular to do. these only lasted for 2 years at most. 

nishinoya had a crush on a girl in his grade and managed to go on an amusement park date with her but he was so nervous (and from the rides) he ended up puking on her brand new shoes. 

ennoshita, shirabu, futakuchi, and the other second gen captains probably have a group chat and futakuchi and terushima can’t fucking shut up to the point kenma leaves the group chat at least once a week 

ennoshita is lowkey feared by the other captains 

akaashi has this routine where he goes inside his closet once a month and just sit there in silence for an hour. when things go really bad he would blast out heavy metal and scream before leaving his room acting as if nothing happened. 

kuroo would often play dumb with bokuto just to mess with him but often in the end both kuroo and bokuto were pranked by kenma

when fukunaga was younger, he convinced his classmates that he was an alien with a task to observe humans and everyone believed him

konoha probably has the most random talents (memorizing the weirdest songs, impersonations of celebrities and people around him [especially bokuto], being able to lick his elbow) but has terrible short term memory.   

konoha doesn’t think that he’s good at anything but his juniors look up to him a lot 

if you can’t tell i kin konoha bby needs more love he probably has a routine that he would do before matches and they actually help in preventing bokuto from going emo mode, but because of his short term memory he tends to forget about it 

suna’s phone capacity is at least 512 gb judging by the amount of pictures and videos he would take 

suna has a burner account just to post the most random videos and pictures he has of his teammates, and would sometimes shitpost and get into random twitter beefs with miya atsumu fans (lmao)  

aran has a ragged doll stored in his room and chokeslams it to the ground whenever he goes home annoyed because of the twins’ shenanigans. unfortunately for him, he ended up in the national team with atsumu so (pray for my man aran may he have peace)
