the way you write, formal and coherent with odd grammar and occasional internet terms is really fascinating and pretty to look at! sorry if it's an odd ask but what made you develop this typing style?

i:m writing too much today :-/ regardless: it:s not an odd question, anonymous. a very brief answer is: i try to write roughly according to how i think (4 tumblr it:s more deliberate, how i post on twitter is closer to thoughts i think) -- but there are some habits that i picked up:

semi-colons: my HS teacher told us people don:t use them properly & you have to be a good writer to use them -- so i tried to always use them (i use them improperly pretty frequently, i:ve been trying to use periods more bc i need better habits to write scripts).

dashes: i picked this up from some author in HS (i read a lot in HS, ~a book a day; i 4get the author but guesses: burroughs, brautigan, camus, kierkegaard), i just liked how it gave sentences this casual "aside" flow -- kind-of like you:re making a hand-gesture when you talk (parentheses, in comparison, are more hushed-hushed asides, -- like moving in closer to say something intimate or cute).

colons instead of apostrophes: i don:t have an apostrophe key due to my keyboard layout (i do, technically, but it:s shift+7).

numbers: 4/8 deliberately replaced because of color alignment; i try to make my use of them to add up to 8 (but i don:t do this often)

kaomojis & stuff: i thought i typed too plainly, and i want to seem cute occasionally. (*´-`)

arrows: in thought, i think mostly linearly in a chain of block-text & sometimes the thought loops back around to a prior block (again: in thought) -- so the arrow is meant to display a thought loop, or: errata of information in prior thought.

formality: this one is connected to scrupulosity, maybe; there is an idea of "grace" in my head as ideal, & that i need to act in appearance of my station (as a shrine to qlippoth). i struggle not responding to people in a polite-formula ("hello [name], thank you 4 writing to me (scientology hand-me-down from their rules 4 acknowledging conversation partner) [...] take care of yourself, ok?") <- largely due to not permitting myself to be rude or assume negatives in others <- in scientology: i would only act this way because i have withholds; in christianity: i shouldn:t act this way as i need to treat others as myself; as qlippotic material: i should not allow my grace to be decided by insect. fear, as well: i:m afraid to be hated or to grow a Nemesis in someone incidentally. i:ve been trying to let myself be rude to other people, lately. i struggle with anger issues :-/

assigned-numbers: it:s just a visual reference 4 the true value of a name <- or: apparent true value of a name.

i think those are most of my quirks. my writing is a little embarrassing to me, because it:s very "clunky" & passive-voiced, often <- i:m working on this. it:s mostly influenced by erp in RO/FFXI + stuff i read in highschool.

7. Things that you will not tolerate?

Anyone trying to guilt or force me (or anyone else) into role playing, especially ERP! Also, seeing people bully others for their opinions.

I've had someone I considered a friend irl cut off contact with me because I said I didn't feel comfortable RP-ing anything sexual. Their argument at first was 'well you did that one time' and kept pestering me about it once or twice a day. After about a week or two of me refusing they stopped talking to me aside from short one or two word texts. The next time I saw them irl was at an event. They gave me a wave and half-smile before ghosting me for 2 days and then never texting me again. It hurt but I don't regret standing by my decision. RPers don't owe others anything, especially if it is something that makes them uncomfortable. RP is a hobby, it's not worth being in a stressful or triggering situation for.

It hasn't always been in an RP setting, but seeing people bullied for expressing their opinions is something that has always bothered me. While there is rarely anything I can do aside from send my support, I will do anything I can to help! <3 (*Mun has convinced a few trolls to appologize, though.)

ALRIGHT. Ya'll might want to go grab some popcorn to go with all this salt. This is some BS I dealt with years ago that convinced me to give up on RP-ing for years...

I had this 'friend' in high school who I seemed to have a lot of common interests with at the time. Let's call him... Josh. I gave Josh my e-mail address at some point because he mentioned he was planning on moving after HS. Well a few months after graduation he messages me asking about joining a fantasy RP (sort of like DnD, but through instant messenger) and wants to establish rapport between our characters before I join in with his group. Cool. But then 2 sentences in his character starts trying to put his hands all over mine...

I tried to laugh it off at first and told him to knock it off. He did for a while, but kept going back to it. It got to the point where as soon as I logged in to check my mail he started greeting me with "Hey baby *kisses you*" etc., when I called him out he just said "I'm just being in-character lol. I love my girlfriend" or something to that effect.

I was getting weirded out by all the attention so I stopped logging on as often when I knew he wasn't at work. Eventually he used my e-mail address to find me on a website I used to frequent a lot in high school (Gaia Online) and sent me a friend request and message saying who it was and "pls get on messenger, I miss chatting with you". I talked to him a while, saying maybe later before logging out. I made a new account with another e-mail I had and everything was cool for a while...

A few months later he messages me on THAT account, saying "hey [my name] I miss you. Did you lose your other acct? Lolol". I played dumb, telling him I wasn't who he thought I was, that I didnt know him, and that I didn't give out my e-mail to people. And he just responded with "liar, [aquaintence] gave me ur e-mail. Why u dodging me sweetheart?"

My brain just fucking stopped working. As$hole got a hold of an acquaintence on Facebook, who got my e-mail from a mutual friend who I'd given it to BECAUSE of this very thing and not wanting to lose touch with my other HS buddies... They had assumed it was fine to give to Josh because they'd both known I was friends with him in HS and figured i'd just forgotten to e-mail him before I stopped using the other account... I don't blame either of them because I hadn't mentioned what was going on or who was involved at the time.

Josh (I assume) then starts making other accounts/e-mails to spam me claiming to be 'friends of his' to try and guilt trip me into talking to him, make me feel like an idiot/jerk/etc., for avoiding him when he 'just wanted to be friends'.

Finally, there was a point in my second year of college where I HAD to check my first e-mail for official correspondence from the school. He immediately messaged me when I logged in, saying he was going to break up with his girlfriend because she was a "dumb b*tch," and that he wanted to 'explore things' with me. He wanted to "talk about it when [he] got back into town" and told me he would meet me on [college's] campus sometime.

I never told him that I still lived in the same town...or where I went to college... He claims his younger sister told him bc she also attended there, but she was shocked when I mentioned him. She claims she didn't know I went there until AFTER he mentioned it and that she never told him about me going there. She said neither she nor their mother had talked to him in over a year and "Last time [her mother] talked to him, he sounded like he was off his meds."

Thankfully I never saw him again, but I was really, REALLY fucking scared for a long time. Especially since I had to walk to-and-from the campus at the time. I was too anxious to tell anyone about it, including my parents, friends, and campus security because I felt like I'd brought all this upon myself and I shouldn't inconvenience anyone else with my problems.

Day 6 - Friendships Part 1

Now let’s go deep

I value friends more than anything, its because, I don’t have any brother or sister.

I grew up alone, I do task on my own, kaya hindi ako pala-utos. Until now, kaya nga I don’t mind doing favors sa mga tao sa paligid ko.

I really don’t know if I’m a good friend, or what not. But one thing’s for sure, people want to be around me. You know I just click around them, but a past lover taught me na, “not all people are your friend, some of them, just want to be around you”

Since elementary to HS I have a many circle of friends, well iba iba pa. Depending on kung saan ko sila nakasama,

Like, I have circle sa classmates ko, I have circle sa mga dati kong classmates, I have circle na lower batch sa akin, I have circle na ka group ko sa sayaw, sa choir, sa anong club meron,

College ganun din, I had different schools nung college so, iba’t ibang circle din. Nung nagstay na ako sa pidabs, ibat iba din. like yun mga Fine Arts friends ko, CCams circle ko, yung circle ng mga past lovers ko, mga extra curricular/popular kids sa pidabs, like you know, I didn’t really know what “friends” totally are.

When I graduated from college, my circles became small. ( I think)

My 4th yr HS Friends ( Baluga) , my 3rd year HS friends , Tropang FCN which is now divided into two (  for some reasons) sub divided categories ERPs , and Conyo Btchs, Mumz and the Bros, Tropang Bahay and ze Gonzagas

I cannot consider yet ze Boracay bros because kakilala ko palang sa kanila and 3 days ko palang sila nakakasama and sa GC lang kami nagkakausap hahaha, (group of kainumans for now)

Some of them especially my HS friends ( 3rd yr and 4th yr) we barely meet kasi may mga priorities na sila sa buhay, nasa ibang bansa nagwwork. We meet pag nagkayayaan.

Tropang FCN is now divided into to two; (ERPs and Conyo Btchs) so I have to meet them separately haha but sila talaga kasama ko since HS because we were in the same school in HS just diff batch, pero kasi etong mga to puro ka shomboyan, unlike my other HS friends na puro straight ska di kasi mahilig mag-inom yung mga yun HAHAH

Saka sila talaga yun pinakamalapit sa bahay namin before kaya talaga sila yung mga go-to friends ko sa inuman HAHAHA AT SILA DIN YUNG SAKSI SA LAHAT NG HEARTBROKEN DAYS KO AT SILA LANG DIN SAKSI SA MGA KAGAGUHAN KO, ( na lagi nila akong nilalaglag HAHA)  SILA LANG nag aalaga sa akin sa sobrang kalasingan ko, namumukod tangi. sila nag uuwi sa akin sa bahay, up until now, like naka car ako mag iinom kami, naka motor sila, para akong may bodyguards up until makapasok ako ng village namin. Nung 2014 days namin na halos sabay sabay kaming heartbroken, para kaming mga gago HAHAAH , sila lang din nagbihis sa akin sa sobrang sobrang kalasingan ko.

I had a fall back with the Conyo Btches because yes, partly its my fault. but you know you learn from your mistakes and you grow, I reached out and we bonded back. Sabi ko nga sa partner nun isa kong friend “ masyado nila akong love not to take me back nagtampo lang yang mga yan sa akin. HAHAHA”   -- I realized na its more than what I thought, umiyak din pala sila nun nawala ako, that akala ko, hindi sila masasaktan na “wala okay lang yan” turns out, they missed me more than anything in the world, nakakatawa pa, lagi nila pala ako knukwento sa ibang tao, “eto yun sinasabi ko sayong friend ko na nawala , na iniwan kami” di na namin inopen or inoopen yun part na yun, past is past.

Infairness naman naging mature na sila.

Tropang bahay - these are my recent and past colleagues ngayon. they are fun to be with, kasi mga ka bakla-an, ka shomboyan and straights HAHA right mix of people kumbaga.
