Funny story, I made this drawing back in April 22, 2022 and I forgot about it totally. And I found it again today and I decide to share it.

So, basically, this is a Harry Potter AU where Barty and Regulus survived and Barty believe that Regulus is in Voldemort's side, which isn't true, but he doesn't know.

Anyway, Regulus has discovered about the Horcrux, has the locket (save with Kreacher in the Black's Mansion) and, because reasons (and because Barty is completely sure that one Voldemort is alive and two he will return), Regulus has discovered that Harry is a Horcrux.

Then Regulus talked with Barty and convinced him to move to Privet Drive and keep and eye in little Harry. Because, and this is the funny part, Regulus has convinced Barty that Voldemort has been reincarnated as Harry or something shit like that, and because Harry can talk with snakes Barty believe it.

And now Little Harry has two strange funny and kind neighbors and one of them is his new nanny (*cough* Good Omens *cough*).

Plus: Barty want to teach dark magic to Harry

Plus 2: Barty and Regulus are like a old married couple

Plus 3: Harry is practically their kid

Plus 4: Regulus don't like when Barty teaches Harry dark magic so usually he tries to made the lessons very soft.

By the Numbers update!!

With just over a day left to sign up as a creator for Fandom Trumps Hate 2023, here's a quick roundup of all of the numbers:

We have 705 offers by 527 creators (I've had to update this three times while writing this post!). Of those, 97 are offering to work in ANY fandom! (To compare that with roughly the same time last year, as we approached 24 hours left to sign up for FTH2022 we had 680 offers from 525 creators in 257 fandoms including 153 write-ins … meaning we have 23 more offers in 16 more fandoms by the same number of creators for 2023 … SO FAR.)

The orgs selected least often are The Appeal, Razom, and Violence Policy Center.

In our listed fandoms Good Omens has increased its lead and its lock on the top spot. MCU caught up with Sherlock and Teen Wolf for a brief 3-way tie for 4th place behind HP and K-pop, but has since gained an additional signup to claim that spot, leaving Sherlock and Teen Wolf tied for fifth ahead of Star Wars, Stranger things, SVSSS, The Untamed, and The Sandman.

For anyone interested, I’m on a Pop Music course and I’m study the music industry in business classes, with theory (boring as hell) classes too and I have recording sessions, music history & context lessons and on Fridays we have perfomance workshop, where we pick a song to learn in the morning and practice with a band or solo or whatever is needed, then by the end of the day we have an hour of tech set up and then we perform it to the rest of the people on the course. It’s a lot of fun but hard work, we have tech students doing live sound and someone from tech doing the lighting and stuff. Feel free to ask me any questions about it!

Just picking five of almost 200 fic is mighty difficult, but I'll try...in no particular order...

Somewhere I Belong (Good Omens) - Troll!Aziraphale, 'nuff said. No, but seriously, this is based on an AU art series of Troll Aziracrow, which is my current obsession, and the art is embedded within the fic. It's also my lengthiest fic to date, and I am so damn proud of it, and it was such a wonderful writing journey, I had the best time writing this. PS. Also it's the first of the series :D

2. What No Man Has Done Before (HP X AOS Star Trek) - I just really love this, I think I executed it well, and it's one of my longer fic that I have the urge to reread often. Jim and Harry's friendship really tickles me in the best way.

3. The One That Got Away (TOS Star Trek) - This is the Star Trek fic that I am most proud of. I challenged myself writing this, and I was stoked with how it turned out. The question was "what if Jim and Spock were fucking in their academy days?" and it was a story that flowed out of me with ease, and I was so happy with it that I was rereading the chapters for enjoyment before I'd even finished writing it.

4. An Artist and His Muse (Good Omens) - I feel like I really captured a lot in this, and I think that it's some of my best writing to date. There isn't enough Artist!Aziraphale love in fandom, so I had to rectify that, and who else but Crowley would be his greatest muse? Even with his snakey bits, rather especially with his snakey bits. It was also my first venture into writing snakey!Crowley, which I adore.

5. The Man Behind The Uniform (Carnival Row) - This honestly wouldn't leave me alone until I wrote it, and I'm so glad that I did, because I needed it so badly. There is so little content for Vir/Millworthy which is a crime, they had so much chemistry. This was super fun to write, and I just allowed myself to write whatever I wanted.

HP x Good Omens crossover part 1

So I've been talking with one of my friends and somehow this came up. And yes I needed to split this up, because it's way too long already

So the demons bring up the Antichrist, and it's the early hours of 1st of August, and every witch and wizard can feel his power

Voldemort was planning to attack the Potters on Halloween, because it's an important day full with dark magic, but then there is this power and the Potter kid just turned a year and one day old, and that's an important milestone too

So he attacks, and everything is the same just a few months early, the Potters die, and Harry lives because of his mother's sacrifice and he is taken to live with his aunt

And Crowley? He is late. He is late, stuck between two traffic jams so he only arrives to the cemetery an hour later

He takes the Antichrist, receives his instructions, and decides he needs a little time to calm down, so he steers the car towards Surrey, it's okay, because both Harriet and Dierdre are having a hard time, so everything is in order, he knows he has time

He arrives to the privet drive just as the wizards apparete away, and he is driving so slow, because there is the most important baby in the universe on his backseat, he can't have an accident now!

That's why he sees the baby sleeping front of the door, and he is a demon and he can't imagine how cruel you can be to leave a kid out for the night

So before he has time to think he is out of the car and grabbing the kid, and knocking on the door

The people living there are cruel and soon enough he miracles them only knowing that Crowley took the kid, they will say this with such stubbornness that no one will ask questions about it

He knows this, a little one isn't the first baby he ever took, he have been stealing them from heaven since Noah, this is so much easier

He takes Harry, and now he has to hurry because the Antichrist is a ticking time bomb and it needs to be delivered

He hands it over to the delighted nun and oh, she is right, it's cute, he is cute, and suddenly he is stuck with the overwhelming desire to stop all this, the world ending, the baby swapping, he just wants to live his live on earth like he always did

And... He has been stealing children from heaven for thousands of years now, he just took one from humans, so maybe it's time to take one of hell's too

When he decided it's so easy, few possession and memory alterations and now everyone thinks it's done, but actually all the kids are with their birth parents

He takes the Antichrist, telling the nuns he is the third baby, and that he will take care of him

When Aziraphale opens his door and finds Crowley there he can't find his voice at first, at least until Crowley starts to ramble

"Angel, I took the Antichrist! What do I do?" " I can see that dear, but where did the other child come from?"  

They read Dumbledore's letter, and they decide, that London is far too chaotic and dangerous to raise both the Antichrist (who after some consideration is named Adam), and some kind of wizarding saviour (they didn't know there was an entire community, but they both decide it's the best not to get involved)

They go to live in Taddfield

There is an elaborate story, how Harry is Crowley's sisters child, but his parents died in an unfortunate accident, and he gets to live with them, and how they just adopted a baby themselves, so they need a calm place

Everyone believes them

And here is the thing, it's hard, raising two kids, but at least magic involved, they don't need to hide themselves with the boys

Harry and Adam are aware who the two of them are, they know who they supposed to be, but it's stressed both by Crowley and Aziraphale that they can choose something else. They are human after all

So they grow, they learn, they make friends (the Them are aware the two boys are magic, they don't really care), and they love each other and this tiny little village, where Aziraphale works in the local library, and Crowley opens a flower shop of all things

Everyone in the family speaks parseltongue

Crowley is a snake, so really it's his first language, Aziraphale can talk to every animal, Harry's dad's ancestors came from India, and Adam can do whatever he wants, reality is his playground after all

Years pass, and suddenly it's Harry's eleventh birthday and with it comes a letter and a long breaded wizard with the ugliest robe ever (Aziraphale loves it of course)

Dumbledore never gives out acceptance letters personally, at least not anymore, but Harry Potter have been missing for a decade now, and all they could figure out some guy Crowley took him (Petunia doesn't tell him anything more, but her voice implied familiarity)

At least the house is warded, and he thinks it's a blood ward, like around the Dursley's house or something similar, it's based on love and family at least, so his very first thought he has when a red head opens the door is 'I thought Lily had only one sibling'

He doesn't ask, but resolves to talk to Severus later, the man must know something

He gives the boy the letter, and there is a cluster of children surrounding him (the Them know everything of course), while he explains what needs to be done, he goes back to Hogwarts slightly dazed and completely confused

They go to the Diagon Alley, and they end up buying a snake and an owl, Crowley doesn't like it that he is no longer the kids' favorite snake

They meet Draco Malfoy too, and it's similar, but not the same because now Harry has parents and a brother and friends, and he is loved so much it hurts sometimes

And Draco is flabbergasted, because there is this boy who says everyone in his family is magical, but had zero idea how things actually work, they leave before he can find out anything else

Harry gets his wand, and Olivander is weirded out which is an entirely new feeling for him, he is used to be at the other end of this

Slowly September the 1st comes and the family leaves for the King Cross

They don't meet with the kind redhead family, but Ron finds a way into Harry's compartment anyway

They become friends, but this time Harry read about Slytherin, and he tells his new friend, that he doesn't think it matters how different they are as long as they love each other (and that's a lesson both Crowley and Aziraphale learned the hard way, they won't let their kids suffer through it)

Malfoy and Hermione both come at one point, and the four of them start to argue about different kinds of magic, and apparently Hermione heard about Agnes Nutter

Time flies and the train ride is over much sooner than they thought it would be

Harry goes to Slytherin with Draco, Ron and Hermione goes to the lion's den, both Dumbledore and Snape are dumbstruck

The first thing the gang does is asking after Agnes's book, Madam Pince almost faints when two 11 year old ask about the rarest and most wanted book, also she doesn't have it

Between shocking teachers, befriending three head dogs (they say a Cerberus stands front of the gates of hell, his brother is the Antichrist, he is sure it won't harm him) and solving mysteries the year passes

Harry and his friends still end up going after the stone, and Harry still faces Quirellmort alone, but his first reaction this time isn't fear but "Wow you are really bad at possession aren't you?"

Voldemort was expecting many things, that wasn't one of them

Harry still kills his professor, only this time one touch is enough for them to turn to dust. Blood magic fused with mother's love is powerful, but Harry is loved by an angel and a demon and the Antichrist, heaven, hell and humanity

When he wakes up it's to the news that the Flamel are going to die, Harry's magic fused with love destroyed everything in the room but him, it would take a miracle to make another stone before their end. Harry is sure he can arrange that

Slytherin wins the house cup, and Dumbledore still gives the lions a shit ton of points, they end up second

Harry goes home with promises that they write each other and the apocalypse just around the corner, he is sure it will be resolved just in time

And I'm stopping now because holy shit this is long so as I said I will add a second part. That will be about the Armageddon't and Flamels and the second year at Hogwarts with the Them

(also Voldemort ends up with the Crowley-Fell family, but again that's the second part)

Magic Omens (Harry Potter x Good Omens AU)

GOOD OMENS/ HARRY POTTER SPOILERS AHEAD!! DO NOT CONTINUE IF YOU HAVENT WATCHED/WANNA WATCH THE SHOW/MOVIES: 

My friend and I came up with a huge crazy Harry Potter X Good Omens AU. This isn't like normal Harry Potter X Good Omens AU's, where the main characters are the in the classes..

..

Just.. Hear me out, cause it gets weird!: 

This all happens in the world of Harry Potter, Crossed with the crazy events of Good Omens.

So, what if the Youngs didn't go to the satanic nun church like in the show. What if James and Lily Potter were the ones to go. Meanwhile, Crowley drops off the antichrist to give to the Americans, and the madness of baby switching begins. 

..

Except.. Baby!Harry and Baby!Adam are switched instead of Warlock and Adam.. Baby!Harry was going to be up for adoption, but Crowley felt terrible about this 3rd baby not having a family.. So, he came back, along with Aziraphale, and they adopted Baby!Harry. Meanwhile, James and Lily now have Baby!Adam. Baby!Warlock is still the supposed "antichrist" still, and is with the Americans. 

So, BASICALLY, Adam Young becomes Adam Potter, who also becomes the boy who lived, but James and Lily Potter survive! The Dursleys NEVER existed. He follows the story Harry WOULD'VE followed if not for the switch. Meeting Ron and Hermoine, getting into Gryffindor(surprisingly easily), and fighting Voldemort. He also kinda mistakes his demonic powers for being a wizard. ALSO, his school pet is the hellhound, Dog, but as a giant black wolf that lives in the Dark Forest. This kinda gets mistaken as Warlock's hellhound for a while, since he's considered the antichrist.

While Harry Potter now becomes Harry Fell, due to Crowley and Aziraphale adopting him. He's just a normal kid, but he IS a wizard. He's not a special case like Adam, but Crowley and Aziraphale love him regardless. Harry ends up getting his letter, and going into Ravenclaw, and meeting Luna Lovegood and Neville and becoming best friends with them all, while also meeting Adam and the others. (His dad's are so happy, cause he didn't make any friends throughout half of the first year, then meets Neville later, and meets Luna in his second year, but her first)

He's friends with Luna, cause she can see his Dad's wings, so she knows that they're an angel and demon, but it stays a secret between them. He's friends with Neville cause they both like nature and animals, like Crowley is with his plants, and Aziraphale is with nature..

Warlock has NO magical abilities, but his parents are so rich, that he gets to go to Hogwarts cause he wants to learn magic.. He's put into the Slytherin house, and becomes best friends with Draco Malfoy. He and Draco hate Adam and his friends, while Harry tries to keep the peace, since he's friends with Neville AND Adam.

This, of course, causes Crowley and Aziraphale to start working at the school(hence how Luna knows that they're Harry's parents, but keeps it as a secret between them.), since Warlock is there.. They need to keep an eye on him. And Harry KNOWS his dad's are working there, but none of them say anything, cause they don't wanna draw attention to one another. Crowley and Aziraphale even rope Harry into it, asking him to try and become friends with Warlock, even though the real antichrist is Adam. 

Crowley works as a teacher. He doesn't stick to one teaching though. He changes every year. Meanwhile, Aziraphale works in the kitchen. He gave all of the house elves clothing, then started taking over the kitchen and miraculously making all of the food with his angelic powers, by using recipes from all the years he's been on earth.. No one in the school knows about them.. Except for Hermoine and Dumbledore..

Hermoine noticed something OFF when Crowley and Aziraphale first joined the school.. She doesn't know what it is, but she knows they're not normal "wizards". And Dumbledore is the same way.. He knows that Crowley and Aziraphale are up to no good, and tries to figure out their "scheme".. But, he can never find anything..

This story gets all over the place, but we thought it was funny as hell. I'd kinda LOVE to see some Fanart of this. I might draw some later on, but not now. I'm exhausted right now.

Yeah, so that harry potter x good omens crossover is eating my brain right now and as I have another story that people are interested in, I thought I would throw this masterpost out there in the hopes that the plot bunnies will just shush and let me finish Uriel’s chapter, please dear god. Okay here we go!

This is a human AU, obviously, which takes place in the school year after the Last Battle. Both Aziraphale and Crowley come from old pureblood families, the Knights and the Rooks, which tie up about four generations back through a shared matriarch (God, or in this case, Frances). The Knights tend towards Hufflepuff while the Rooks tend towards Ravenclaw. Aziraphale is a Slytherin, Crowley a Gryffindor. 

The two of them threw themselves out of their families for a variety of reasons- Aziraphale left his family because they decided to flee Great Britain rather than stay and resist Voldemort, Crowley because he refused to join up. The two now go by Fell and Crowley respectively (the Knight who Fell off his horse and the Crow in the Rookery, hehe, i love puns). Aziraphale spent his time forging family trees and any other needed documents, Crowley went more on the smuggling muggleborns out of the country/hiding resistance members route than front line fighting.

Aziraphale has his bookshop, yes, it does have magical tomes but in his defense, the muggles just think they’re nifty fiction/old timey recipe books by obscure authors, Crowley is assisting the goblins with investments in the muggle world in between little bouts of mischief and tending to his greenhouse. Of course Crowley speaks parseltongue and of course he is a snake animagus. 

So, the battle happened, all dramatic, yay Voldieshorts is dead. Only now McGonagall has been appointed Headmistress and is trying to put things in order for the first school year since the war (side note: do not envy her, how the frick do you do that? Kids were tortured for a year, kids DIED, other kids refused to fight their families and friends, what about all those muggleborns who didn’t get their letter that year? OWL and NEWT students, what do you do about them? Did seventh years like Neville actually graduate? And how do you explain to new parents that hey, we just had a war about your child’s right to an education but don’t worry, that’s totally solved now??). So, Slughorn has read the writing on the wall. Dude knows his politics and knows that if his house is to survive, they’re going to need a new Head of House, one who isn’t attached to the wrong side of war. He agrees to stay on as Potions Master for a few years, because Merlin knows they already have too many vacancies, but someone else needs to be the face of his House. His mind immediately goes to Aziraphale, with whom he’s kept in contact over the years. Bright man, kind man, gentle-looking man, that one. But underneath? Oh, there’s fire and steel, exactly what the new House Head is going to need to walk that fine line between the defeated purebloods, the student collaborators, veterans, and victims, the ascendant anti-pureblood coalition. Someone who looks non-threatening enough but who will walk through hell to protect his students, even from themselves.

McGonagall goes to the shop to recruit him and he eventually agrees, once Crowley also signs on (because he ain’t letting Aziraphale walk into that den of wolves alone, they’re on their own side, thanks, and because Crowley likes kids and knows how shit this is gonna be and well, he can help okay?). McGonagall smirks and hands him the Head of Gryffindor job along with the Transfiguration job. Crowley just gapes at her because like, he’s never seen himself as any kind of authority figure and now he’s doubly one??? Like wtf? McGonagall calmly points out she can’t be the Head because she’s Headmistress and there aren’t any Gryffindors remaining on staff. Aziraphale, bastard that he is, just laughs and laughs at the situation. Yes, dear, it’s quite unfair. Yes, dear, I’m sure you’ll be the cool professor. He will be pulling triple duty as Head of Slytherin and Arithmancy and Ancient Runes Professor.

They share quarters and an office at Hogwarts because why not? Poor Crowley just aches for all his kids, from the second years determined to protect the firsties and help their year mates catch up to Ginny, who lost a brother and fought so hard, to Neville who led the student resistance to Harry Potter and his friends themselves. They’re not saviors, they’re kids and they’re hurting and there’s no going back for them, not really. He does his best by them, teaches Neville about the more obscure plants he’s smuggled into the castle, sits with the kids who are homesick or afraid or who can’t sleep (he visits the common room nightly and distracts them with wild tales or card games with special treats), helps the older ones navigate their new world. Because it’s hard, sitting in class with kids who at best did nothing and at worst had an active hand in torturing your friends. He and Aziraphale feel like they spend half their time trying to keep their Houses from literally killing each other and it is just so sad.

Aziraphale, though, has the harder job. They both know that. How do you deescalate a situation like Slytherin House after the war? Half your students have been taught that their way is right and can’t deal with the loss, the other half just want to survive school and forget everything that’s happened, all of them have close family dead or imprisoned due to their actions in the war. How do you find compassion for kids like them? How do you protect them from the school and how do you protect the school from them? Aziraphale finds that way, that love. They’re still kids, at the end of the day, even the eldest, even the ones who participated. They need help and Aziraphale is that guide for them, a guardrail. Sure, some of the Slytherins initially think that because he’s soft and gentle and kind that somehow he is weak, a pushover. He is not and they learn that very quickly. I choose to be what I want to be every day, so do you, he tells them, in a way they can understand. Not your families, not your friends, you.

Hi, what's the difference between an AU and a fusion?

Ahhhhh I think this is a misunderstanding on my part when I label crossover and AU fics, because I like the word "fusion". I had to google to see what the differences are. From my understanding, please correct me, authors/literary majors:

Alternate Universe: Any story taking place outside of the established "canon" universe. This is also the umbrella term I personally use for any fiction that's not directly tied to the known storyline and character settings. ie. Technically, SHERLOCK is a Modern AU of the ACD stories. Characters from Fandom X are different professions. Characters From Fandom X are now in Steampunk. Essentially, one asks the question "What if...?" and that is your AU.

Crossovers: When Characters from Fandom X interact with Characters from Fandom Y. ie Star Trek and Sherlock, or Good Omens and Sherlock.

Fusions: When Characters from Fandom X are directly part of the world and story of Fandom B, and Fandom A is only existing AS the characters in Fandom B's story. ie. Potterlock but SHERLOCK characters REPLACE HP characters from the original stories, and build that world.

I personally think Fusions and Crossovers are very similar, which is probably why I keep interchanging them, but for semantics' sake, I believe that's the nuance of the difference.
