Annie (@aureacor) is writing VOYAGER, while Emma (@howlscifer) is writing HALIMEDE. Project Orpheus was a huge undertaking, and the group really wouldn't be here without them. Annie created the graphics for the roleplay, and Emma has helped me work out the mechanics of the gameplay, test out my Discord bots, and wrote the skeleton for Fenrir when I was feeling swamped. I am truly so grateful for their help, as they have lots of experience running groups and have patiently guided me through the process. With a small cast of characters, I am aware that it can seem unfair for four to be already be taken, but I can attest that they do deserve it, with all the time and dedication they have put into the group.

a few updates - 

lennon identifies almost solely with they/them pronouns. they sometimes refer to themselves using she/her pronouns, and are comfortable with their closest friends/family still using them, but they feel most aligned with they & them pronouns. 

their bio is almost exactly the same as it is ( HERE - sexual assault tw ), but they were fostered and adopted by tommy tanner instead of mr. & mrs. richards - this will be updated when i refresh my single muse pages ! 

lennon just returned from a 6 week trip to london, where they immersed themself in london’s underground punk scene - taking inspiration for their radio show “the power” ( which you can find on your the local huntsville radio station at 96.9 )

they have gotten quite the following in town, and on tiktok where they livestream their radio show) and they often work with local music venues to offer ticket giveaways for up and coming artists

Also don’t get me wrong I absolutely love the studio ghibli adaptation of Howl. But what I wouldn’t give to have a book accurate series. The banter between Howl and Sophie is just chefs kiss. And the amplification of what a drama king this boy is. I cannot.

hii! the backdrop you've build is so lush and detailed. can you explain your process and give some tips as well?

Most of my worldbuilding is research-based. As a sci-fi rp, I wanted to have a real-world basis for the concepts within the world. After watching Interstellar and Everything Everything All At Once, I did extensive research within the physics field — specifically string theory. Just by coincidence, I found papers on landscape theory within string theory, and went from there.

Then, as the roleplay is set in the future, I built the world off of issues that are starting to arise, such as the capitalization of water and search of alternative sources of energy. The events within the timeline are just consequences of trying to solve these problems. Most of the quantum technology featured are currently being developed in our world today — you can search quantum technology applications on google and it will give you a bunch of information that I pretty much developed and shaped to fit the roleplay.

All of that just to say: my process was just reading scientific journals. :)

As for general roleplay development tips, this is the first one I've created, so you would be much better off speaking to Annie (@aureacor), Claudia (@prometheis) or Emma (@howlscifer), who have run very successful and creative groups in the past few years!
